my whole life school started in July or August.

You must have grown up outside the US. Our school start and end dates always started and ended around the agricultural needs of having children at home to help with crops

Mael just curious where you live in Mass because, our school schedule is the same. I’m from Kingston
In the US, schools did not used to start in July or August when most of us were kids, 40 plus years ago
