I laughed at him yesterday, telling him he was being VERY dramatic about muscle pain. But it made more sense when we realised it was also gout.
I told him to get a hot shower and slather on your cream! And I gave him paracetamol. He did all that, then went back to bed :D

yes he has. But he is still in the build-up stage with those. Has to get regular blood tests to see when the dose is right.
ikr? One of the few things I really envy in him. He can easily sleep when he does not feel good or is in pain. Me, not at all. No matter how ill I am, I cannot lie in bed without aching hips, so there I am, in a chair, feeling lousy. And there he is, sleeping like a baby!
huh? i just take 2 tabs, then one every 6 hours until the pain is back under control, then roll on with the preventer tabs.
ah well, I do not mind him sleeping. I mind not being able to myself

that's what i'm on. my GP never ordered blood tests when i started. something weird about having to have blood tests. is his doctor usually on the level?
very much so. They measure the levels of uric acid, so they can judge if the dosage is right.
then maybe because i was a nurse she thought i would be able to manage it by myself. i did ask her if she needed to check my uric acid levels, and she said no.
well, they do here. Every four weeks until it stays down and even.
so the poor man has to be stabbed every 4 weeks. it's a wonder he hasn't needle phobia.
