It was the best. He loved the quietness of the country setting. He lives in an apartment in Colorado and says it is very noisy. I wish he wasn't quite so far away - it's a 3 hour flight after he gets to Denver and then a 2 hour drive to my little place in the middle of nowhere, California, lol!

i had a huge lunch. yummy piece of steak with garlic butter, chips and vegs. so we had a liteneasy lunch for our dinner.

we are waiting for the specialist go get back at us. How they work is, they collect the data from the machine. Then they discuss the findings in a multi discipline team. And then the specialist gets back to us with the findings and the treatment plan they recommend. So it will take a few weeks.
* sigh * so the waiting game begins. but at least you have started.
it has not killed him in the last few years, so I am confident he will survive this waiting time. I am happy they take things seriously and have several disciplines taking a look at the findings. Makes me feel they will come up with a solid plan.

i'm reading Barnaby Rudge by Dickens
it's centered around the Gordon ri4s, which i hadn't known about before, from 1780 - in London, anti-Catholic craziness.
all so silly too - they had these anti-Catholic laws on the books, about them not serving in the military or something, that were like 100 years old and not really being enforced, so they wanted to formally get rid of them, and then people ri4ed over it and lots of people died
in a way it is reassuring to see that things were as awful and stupid then as they are now
not a fan here of the Catholic church
