yummy. pumpkin soup, then a steak burger in a lovely soft roll. and the steak so tender i almost didn't have to chew.
sounds delicious. I LOVE pumpkin soup.
so do i. the one i make has some potato in it too so when you puree it, it comes out so thick and smooth.
I make mine with a bit of onion, garlic and oriental spices. The kids always ask for it when we get together :)
did i tell you i have framed all your beautiful artworks? next spring clean job is the bathroom cupboard with it's annual clean out of old meds, and out-of-date stuff. and then the two bookshelves in our bedsit room. i'm going to re-arrange all the albums so that i can put your lovely work front and centre. i'll take pics when i have finished.

oh I have to try that! Yes, I put in cumin, coriander (the spice, not the plant!), ginger root, a tiny bit of clove.
the lovely thing with pumpkins is, they don't need much because they are already so tasty by themselves, but they easily adapt to variations.
honey, you just wait. I have finished Lauryn's blanket, am now working on the jellyfish cuddle for her (quite the adventure, it is a pattern made by a japanese or russian lady whose english is a bit hit or miss... makes for interesting crocheting!) and once that is done, I go back to working on the squirrel blanket...

oh, and coming home from my god-daughter's engagement/wedding party, beside the highway in a rest stop, some enterprising young blokes had set up a fresh fruit stall. i have been munching on fresh peaches and nectarines all week. and at home, waiting for me are a large amount of cherries and raspberries which i'll make into two types of low-joule jam. and the apples!! perfect for dutch apple sauce, yum yum yum.
