re 11
Clues are up
thank you, lickety!
well there's not too many words here and Rose called out the biggies, in fact Rose already called the ones you're calling now
well dang. should I stop?
gu 7 x 2
LOL, just check what has been posted before making calls
gotcha
once they are called there is no reason to recall them. We generally take a peek to see if our find has already been called.
*thumbs up*
su 9, 12
well, I almost have HOET but can't find the 4th row E
es 4 Carla
argh! I had the 5 that contains that. thanks.
i am chuffed. found all the biggies on my lonesome. not at all something i usually do.
I was happy to find a 9/10 and then looked and it had been called :D
* giggles * hey celebrate with me... c'mon... ozzie, c'mon...
WTG! I gotta go though. FLying to Idaho tomorrow, need to get some sleep, the airport is gonna be a madhouse...
safe travels rebelsass. see you on the other side.
1/2 my family flew today, sass. they only had a 2 hour delay.
had to wait for a new plane because something was wrong with the other one. always good to hear.
really inspires confidence in the airline.
at least they got another plane!
true that
oh, just found another big one
well done Carla
oh, I have finished the 7s too
ikr? nearly fainted when i greyed the 7's
I am down to 3-0-2-0-0-1-0-0-1. LOL, don't have that many zeros to type out often.
Anyone care to guess what my remaining g6 is?
oh, I see the big ones I need
gu 6/27?
there are two gu 6/27s
I've got one - is there another
oh - ty
hmm, I need that too
just change the last consonant
i have the wind one
and hi all

hey jbp

is the 12 related to the 10 or 11?
no, except for the ending
no, a 9
k, thanks ditz
nope. it is related to su 9. ones uses this when tanning.
wow... I don't think I've ever gotten a 12 before. Thanks, all!
well done jbp

morning babblers
morning spritey. haven't spoken to you in ages.... roflol
lol :P That is because I am still biting my tongue not to let you have it
just messaged you in whatsapp. reply when you are ready, okay?
already did. Yeah that's me. Fast as the wind.
phew... was that what it was?
that or superman. Superwoman. Oh wait. One and the same, yes.
superthem???
that will do in a pinch. Mind, we do prefer our full titles.
on a side note, what a waste of a perfectly good gerund ending
you won't believe this but I have finally found out about google calendar. i'm getting organised... if that's possible.
good girl!
that gerund ending is responsible for most of the big biggies
okay. That reconciles me a little with this grid then. So far, only duds in that department. But it is early days.
but oooooo wasn't yesterday's grid a treasure!
it really is a lovely grid when i find all the biggies on my lonesome.
oh yeah. i had a ball with that one.
finding biggies by yourself is a sport in itself nowadays. I do my utter best not to read certain people. Sometimes my eyes slip and they are even giving stats for 4 and 5 letter words.
yeah. that seems a little excessive. but i think it is usually 4's that have no vowels, or a babblet which everyone seems to miss.
thus robbing everybody from the chance of finding it themselves, too
true that.
I am getting better at not seeing the posts though :) I would hide chat but I do not wish to miss chatting with my friends. Choices, choices, lol
about an hour after flip is usually safest. all the biggies usually have been called by then. but then again, if it is a large grid you may catch the tail end of the calls.
I know. I try to maneuver through that minefield. Sometimes really longing for the time when babble was still allowed to be a bit of a challenge and an invitation to use your brain a little extra, not the instant gratification it seems to have become. Most like-minded players have stopped, so I have become... what is that called in english? Someone who calls into the desert?
now you've got me. what is it in dutch?
nope. The english bible text speaks of the voice in the wilderness. In dutch it is Roepende in de woestijn.
John the Baptist??
John 1:23 I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness.
so now I am wondering which translation is closest to the arameic. Oh, that squirrel brain!
well most of the new testament was in greek. you could look through a concordance.
some scholars say it was translated from aramaic or hebrew into Koine greek, which roughly translates to common greek.
one source I found breaks down the verses into words. The greek word is eremos, it refers to uncultivated or disconnected place, or a state of separateness or even loneliness. So both translations are a bit free :D
hence why i use a concordance. i can cross reference words across multiple languages.
yes that makes sense to me
strangely i usually work from a king james bible. the newer translations can be quite mistaken.
most bibles being translations from translations, it is inevitable there are mistakes.
ha, found the 12!
whoot. well done
and also the other real biggies. Happy dance.
yay sprite !!
fireflies. Tricky grid. Fun! *hugs* my darling, will get you all dates and addresses now.
* hugs * darling. catch you later. xoxox

You don't think one could say "those mothers are s12" their children?
It's ridiculous! BBL for last 14...
hello all. wow, a 12 today? and such a small grid.
well. it is an odd word.
Well, I agree. I would say those mothers are putting ____on their children. It looks like the kind of word that would get a big red X from an English teacher.
I don't think it's a verb. I think it can be used to describe the ingredients in the product. They are s12 ingredients.
what's the second letter of the s 12?
u
wow... thanks got it
has mkg asked for the 12 yet?
have not seen mkg yet

i really want unsee to work, i know it doesn't but I used it all the time
I am reading about that school shooting in Wisconsin and it is some sad stuff. A second grader made the call to the police.
I've been so involved in the letters in this grid, I didn't bother looking at the stats. Wow!
molly, my 4th grader asked if he could not go to school so he wouldn't be shot and killed ... pretty sad that a child would think like that now-a-days
I read the gn4 today oh boy, Free clue
is that the gn 4/7,or, is there another ?
cute clue Kap
one would think that the 12 would be plural of the 11, but no...
I sang that clue Kap! LOL
yes, me too lol
Good morning, Babblers. :)
Is the 11 related to the 12?
no
I'm guessing not...
Kaplan are you Rivkah? I tried to order your book but Amazon says it is not available. Maybe I’ll try the kindle edition.
Found the 12 and the 10 right away, but the 11eludes me.
while I have the 11 and can't find that 12 lol

It's all about the beginning.
The 12 describes ways you can avoid exposure to harmful solar rays
It adds the gerund to su9/66

Help with th 11, please?
I even tried that minus the s, duh, it's a product I don't use lol

Ty, swmbo. :)
I am struggling with the « easy » ones, the e in the far right column and the y. Any clues?
The top e
It's a plural, that
E
when you vote, there are two possibilities, noes and y5. then the e follows.
Er 4/4
Namaste
Ah thanks
And please
And plural
Sorry, I meant the middle e
Damn auto correct
Ty for the y
En 4/5
Might be the one you need
that lone e is the y without the y
Gene
Oops
The e I am looking for is on the far right column below the d and above another e
yes, swmbo, the y without the y
It's an es4 swmbo
THANK YOU all!
Those little fiddly ones drive me crazy sometimes
Rasta, am I thick. I couldn’t figure out what the y without the y was!
