Sorry about your pup, Hokie. One of our lab just had two teeh pulled--both broken. The stitches did not hold the first time around so he had to have it all done twice. Cost $2,100.00 each time. :(

Looked up pet insurance for the six year old, and they are asking $350/month!!! Just not worth it. I am better off tossing a couple hundred in a seperate account each month.
yeah, our first lab had 3 surgeries for removing foreign objects, (and that was over $2k each time back in the 90s) so we talked about getting it for subsequent pets but never did.

I applied and received a Care Credit card that helped pay for my pup's surgery to amputate a toe that had a cancerous tumor. Luckily the vet we went to was not horribly expensive and we have the balance about paid off from surgery in July.
