Hello friends.

bea!

the youngest just texted that he completed the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh this morning.

8:56 am

We almost have Tupperware!

8:56 am

Good for him!

I know, I keep seeing tupper

8:57 am

Good for the running. The 12 doughnuts, not so much. Blech.

he tried it year before last and didn't finish

8:58 am

And the Shroud location.

yeah, he loves KK doughnuts but that's what tripped him up last time

back in the day, if they were hot and fresh I could probably eat that many, but not cold ones.

9:00 am

They are great if they are HOT.

9:00 am

For some reason, I have never been a Krispy Kreme fan. But then, I am not a big doughnut lover.

yep

9:01 am

If we are going to have donuts, we want Duck donuts.

oh, I've always been a huge fan of KK

duck donuts is too new, I don't think I ever had any

9:01 am

And if in KS, it's always Daylight Donuts.

9:02 am

Carla, Duck Doughnuts are amazing.

top row gray finally. just had to start looking for the lower T to find the top Ts.

I'm sure they are. honestly I never met a doughnut I didn't like, except for grocery store doughnuts. I hate those.

9:04 am

They are more of a cake donut.

I love original KK and the crullers which are more caky

I was never a huge fan of dunkin though

9:11 am

I hate dunkin

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't care for poutine

9:45 am

poutine is delish but it's really not good for you

9:45 am

i think Joey would (from Friends). he'd say "what's not to like? fries - good. cheese curds - good. gravy - good."

11:04 am

good morning everyone :)

11:08 am

Hello everyone. Here is one Canadians opinion of poutine: Yetch! Gross! Yuck!

11:08 am

Just read the chog -- as the only Canadian rep here I would like to point out that poutine is a French Canadian phenom -- certainly not as appreciated here in the west. Unfortuneately a lot of Canadians seem to think that the western edge of Canada ends at the Manitoba-Ontario border. Westerners are often left feeling like we don't count simply because we don't have the population to equal Quebec and Ontario.

11:09 am

Hi swmbo -- you snuck in as I was writing my comment :)

11:10 am

Funny Nan, that is how easterners feel too!

11:12 am

And I want to point out that it is a Quebecois delicacy, not French Canadian as we Acadians see it lol.

11:12 am

I can imagine. I would really like to see more regional representation in our government --- a minimum for the less populous provinces that would balance things a little more.

11:13 am

point taken swmbo

11:13 am

Yes, Quebec and Ontario seem to rule us all

11:14 am

Mind you, I find many Acadian dishes bland, tricot for example.

11:14 am

mind you what we have certainly beats the chaos going on to the south right now. How did Elon Musk get the authority to decimate the civil service?

11:14 am

Fricot that should read

11:15 am

what is frico?

11:15 am

I am stunned by Musks easy takeover of whatever he seems to want

11:16 am

fricot is an Acadian soup, chicken and potatoes most. Bland to my taste

11:18 am

I am off in search of the no9

11:19 am

Found it! Wow, easy!

11:20 am

was wondering what the 9 is -- common word?

11:21 am

Not sure how much it is used but it refers to a person who does not express herself in script

11:21 am

got it

11:22 am

figured it was either that or not a season which I tried first

11:29 am

well no wonder i couldn't find that last upper O

11:29 am

and ?

11:29 am

Why couldn’t you?

11:30 am

it's very weird

correct, nan

11:39 am

11:40 am

no def, of course

11:42 am

now why would they use words with definitions

11:43 am

11:44 am

wonder what my last O on the bottom is

11:46 am

still missing 2 there

11:47 am

I'm assuming you have posted the death notice and circle the planet

11:47 am

yes, and one who does circle the planet

11:48 am

the death notice is from the other O though

11:48 am

ok - now I am missing what you are

11:49 am

right - the preposition is the other one

11:53 am

I can only find 2 A's. I have ab4 and an5.

11:54 am

got it -- want a clue?

11:54 am

yes please

11:54 am

11:55 am

Hey --- do you think Trump and Musk dreamed up this word list?

11:55 am

they are nowhere near nerdy enough for that

11:56 am

no but they do have the stupidity factor
