Lickety has stats on his clues page. 10 was the smallest, 744 was the largest.
I dont have any en words except for no beginning. Help needed.
25 measly words? On a Snow day?
What the...?
ah the 744. How well I remember.
10 minutes.
Namaste
To clarify yesterday- we have a three bedroom house. Top flor was rented to Afghan immigrants through charity and programs. There are two presently unused bedrooms. One for guests or the cat is snoring too much. Our house is at a quite inflated price compared to when we bought in 35 years ago. One daughter does stints at home, the other has children under 4 and it's a whole ordeal. One room is also for guests or storing and sorting clothes. (My husband never throws anything away.) My biggest attachment are to my many books and to my studio office in the back. This is a very inflated city that started out working class. People got priced out of Cambridge so they drove the prices up here. Many unhoused people. The residents seem to resent their presence and feel the homeless should be swept out of site.
I have 5 words left but I don't list anymore, so it's monkey time.
well this was going awful well and then I noticed there are 25 total words
I forget who but someone asked if we were two people living in a 5 BR house.
We would downsize to one floor but I would hate to give up my bedroom and other features--I'd rather move but no place I would like (blue state, access to public transportation etc) is affordable.
PA is blue and Phila much more affordable with cultural amenities. ask all the new yorkers moving here.
and paying cash.
Fellow PA Person here. It's more purple than Blue. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and a few other areas are strong blue. The rest is definitely NOT.
Thank you Lickety for the short Babble today. I'm hosting a Super Bowl party and need a lot of time.
Kaplan you said you had three cats and they all have bedrooms. Counting you and your husband, I figured that meant five bedrooms.
They share with us. I didn't say they have their own rooms. They have their preferred human, but with two of them not living here, they stake out their territory. One lives in my office space.
We have a king sized bed so two of them sometimes take a corner. #3 had her safe space under my office table. Lately she's been coming in to check on where I am upstairs. She was the one my daughter brought from Philly.
I like Philly. I also like Providence.
Both my kids went to school in Philly. I like that there were tons of book stores, and the Barnes Collection moved into the city. And there is a great Israeli restaurant where the waiters are really well choreographed. I can't remember the name.
And all the mosaics, including the house of the mosaic mad. And 9th St. market. I could do OK in Philly.
Mosaic man.
I don't like where I live anymore. It's too dense, and has a feeling of being redlined although it isn't actually.
'I have 5 words left and that's how it's gonna be
The restaurant was probably Zahav.
The Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia is an excellent area. Vibrant shopping district, very diverse.
Sorry. I guess it is just the interpretation of the written word. I have three cats, they all have bedrooms (which is what you posted) led me to believe each cat had its own room.
friend's daughter was trying to buy in Mt. Airy but gave up after encountering those cash in hand New Yorkers, closed out of every transaction. Pity.
Same thing happening in Poconos and Lehigh Valley, where I want to go.

Congratulations mael. I hear you are getting that snow you have wanted.
Oops, she's gone.

I'm a Realtor in SE PA (Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester mostly). It's not just NY using cash, it's local buyers too. The only thing that beats cash is a mortgage contingent offer well over asking with a large escrow deposit and large downpayment. Many sellers will take a full price cash offer over a mortgage contingent/inspection contingent offer $10k over asking.
Stuck on me6, 21

firewords! (had to list at 7 left)
Good afternoon, Babble buds. :)
Whenever I see a grid this small, I am instantly reminded of our largest grid to date--the infamous 744. For those who wosh to see it again I have it set up as a jigsaw puzzle on jigidi.com. Just type in my babble name and you will see my puzzles.
Wish*
cool!
crosshair, I put crosshair in the search and only saw a starwars puzzle
nm, I see there's a search by username instead of keyword. :)
Good glad you found it. I think I have a dozen puzzles ir so set up there.
The one with the deer and the turkeys my wife took several years ago. It was minus 30 that day and the deer were digging up gound apples from under the snow. The turkeys would let the deer dig it all up, them follow behind them taking apples as they could.
The 744 word grid is in the archives. April 21, 2012 if anyone wants to try it. Everything that has ever been posted here is in the archives. It makes for some interesting reading, all things considered.
As I recall, I made most of the puzzles between 150 and 250 pieces, so not to worry, they are fun, but they won't consume your life. :)
Cues for the lower E, please.
Clues*
Love my tablet, but it can be a pain to type on sometimes.
