of course Sauron probably also thought that the destruction of his power was pretty rude
villains always do
in his case only on orcasion
Well, I would be a bit miffed as well, trudging all the way to mount doom. All Gandalf had to do was to whistle for the lord of the Eagles at the birthday party, toss Froddo on his back, and they could have flown to Mount Doom, dropped the ring, and been back to the party in time for cake. :)

seeing any of the 8s. I know first two letters of each
ap5/14 is one

the only time i've ever heard that B word was in a Friends episode where a dance guy was showing Joey what steps the dancers were supposed to do and he said, "pas de bo7, pas do bo7"

I have that but it doesn't show in my list. should;ve refreshed
nbt!
i thought of a missed linguistic opportunity this morning
microscopes should have been named "specktacles" instead
do tell, hurshy! I am intrigued
lololol. A fun thing I like is pronouncing words like "Specktacles" as if it was a Greek hero Speck Ta Cleese
:)

hi kaplan, hi bea....
How my husband packs in our schedule. We are leaving for Cuba early Sunday morning. We just got back from the Berkshires where my daughter, son in law and their two tile ones. Then it is sprung on me that 10 people are coming to dinner tonight. I have Travel Anxiety, clinically known as I DON'T WANNA GO ANYWHERE and am trying to not forget anything important. Can't just go to a CVS in Havana.
sounds too busy for me...
Hi back to everyone who said hi to me.
Way too busy for me. The trip to Cuba is curated, but I reserve the right to not go to hear AfroCuba music at 11 AM. I'm old enough to opt out.
just do what you feel like doing....it's what i do...
11 PM. I mean.
OPT OUT is a legitimate choice. Of course I will miss some things, but I do not want to slog around exhausted for a week.
you want to enjoy what you want to do...
well i am stalled at 35...taking a break....bye all....
In Kenya last year I really had no choice. It was grueling but beautiful. Cuba - I will be visiting some artists studios, walk around, but don't need late night activities.
snew
Hiwdy, Kaplan, what's snew with you? :))
Read back. You are very, very busy it seems. :/
Does anyone have clue for the top corner i word?
Also missing the words for the bottom corner A. All help welcome.
Ic 5/12 more frigid
The only a I have from that spot is ap 5/14. Keeping up with

hello again....
well i am done....goodnight all....*waving to the lurkers*....
rehi - I missed pen
i'm here carla. how are you?
hey rose, pretty good, how are you?
apologies. while i was feeling better i went to put some washing in the machine. doing okay for now. and you?
no worries, I have been here and there and everywhere on my computer and in my house. have you been sick?
are you starting to get cooler temps or is it still hot summer?
still hot here but with a little cool spell to break up the monotony . with all the traveling we have just done ( nearly 1250 miles up to Queensland, and ditto back to home) my feet became very swollen. we drove there and back because DH couldn't be bothered with all the fuss at the airports. he is now rethinking that attitude having seen what i have gone through.
my feet were so swollen none of my shoes would fit me. i had to buy a pair of MEN'S size 12 flipflops, and cut them down at the toes and heels to give me something to wear.
oh wow
I have started wearing compression socks on road trips
and I am with your husband, I hate the fuss at the airports.
i understand about the fuss, but the alternative is not pretty. and yes, hindsight is 20/20 vision they say. i have compression stockings which in future i will wear.
yeah, that stinks. hopefully you won't have that problem again.
i have worked out that my wheelie walker folds up into a size which would fit into one of the overhead storage areas on a plane. which means i can get myself from a to b at the airport.
plus with the seat on it being of material which folds up easily means if i have to sit for a bit, i can.
oh wow, that's great. the few times I've flown, I've seen some of those that people had to drop to be checked. I assume that is similar to what we call a rollator.
exactly carla.
ha, my missing F's were regular words.
really strange. i did that 400 plus word grid and only had 27 words to find after my first run through. this one? i had nearly 50 to find. why is that do you think?
well, have made it down to 22 but still have 6 4's left, even after looking for 4's. I hate to list when I still have those, but I guess I'm going to have to.
that one was easier than this one.
for me it all depends on things like the proportion of words with bigger lengths, suffixes, the way the letters are set up in the grid, etc.
so my missing W is dumb. and I tried it as an E this morning, which is just as dumb but not a word.
completely baffled right now. I have a b4 I can't find and even tried looking it up and can't find it. a 4!
ohh, was overlooking a letter
alrighty, I have finished. have a good day, rose. I hope your swelling is gone next time I "see" you!
thanks carla. sweet dreams.
