true. and it's not about winning. A person I don't know, made a lewd remark at my expense. doing it when thought I left. I was talking about blowing a keyboard out. Molly did not say she was joking. I will not have someone say crap about me and not defend myself.

Spring Break is dangerous for kids... especially women.
and they did everything right. it was just the perfect storm. between the rough water, power outage, and alcohol.

the older I get, the more scared I get for my kids. it seems there is no love for life anymore. people don't care what happens to others.
its scary to think what I, and my kids, would be going through in Brooklyn, being Jewish.

what's scary about Brooklyn.. it's pretty upscale these days with lots of young people.

what do you all think about the IL bill that would place harsh restrictions on homeschooling? the gov. want to go INTO the houses and make sure they are teaching them up to par. This is where reading and math proficiencies of 0.
I worked for The Circe institute, a classical Christian educator. my kids went to public school, but it showed me I had to fight for them to achieve more.
Circe was not as much about religion, it was about teaching kids how to be adults and ask great questions. it taught more about how to teach in a Paideia style.
In a classroom, Paideia emphasizes discussion-based learning, critical thinking, and holistic education to develop well-rounded students.
