Any way of stopping this ridiculous new autofill in the Add Word box that's started happening since the update? SO annoying!
I think Dr. God would have to change the code. I don't like it either.
If anyone has a way of contacting Dr. God other than email, please let him know there is a whole list of things that need to be fixed. Including the fact that his email address doesn't work.
Now that his email is bouncing, I wonder if we will ever hear from him. At least we have the basic game we all love.

I emailed Lickety and asked if he had any other way of contacting Dr. God. Champ posted on the Facebook page the other day, but I honestly don't know that Dr. God reads there very much.
I don't think he does read the FB page. He never responds.
Well then we might have to wait until he notices that he hasn't gotten an SOS email about Babble in a while. God help us if the board goes down.

it is so weird how the weather influences our health and mental state! And the older I get, the more influence it gets. I am okay. Rob is not well and that is taxing, for him but also for me. But we manage and we still laugh a lot.
I'm sorry Rob isn't feeling well. It's much better to have a spouse not feeling well to take care of instead of being alone. I'm still not dealing well with not having Michael around.
I know, honey. Though I prefer not to compare situations. I am allowed to feel the burden of having to take care of everything with a health that does not permit it. But I know I am lucky to have Rob and I really hate for you to miss your beloved Michael so much.
You are allowed to feel what you feel!! Situations don't compare for the most part. I'm just lonely.
I totally get that. And I hate it for you. I wish I could say something that makes it easier, but there is nothing that can do that. Having friends does not make the loneliness any less, alas.

True. I had a great talk with my daughter Sunday...at long last. She's so busy with her life and dealing with some kid problems, so I understand why I never hear from her. She finally told me to call on weekend nights, so I will do that. I like to stay in touch. I hate to hear that one of my grandkids is having some problems adjusting. She's very tall and mature for her age. She could move forward in school but doesn't want to leave her friends behind.

it is great to be able to support your daughter in dealing with all that. Nice to know when is a good time to reach out to her. Life with children is intense, it doesn't allow easily for social interaction because your days just fly by so fast.
I think their days fly by faster. But I was happy to hear a time when it would be good to call. She's too busy - teaching school all day and Zumba at night.

jayk i think mine is doing the same thing since the server move. the first word you type comes up when you type the first letter of that word. i just merely 'x' next to the word to stop it but would love to know how to get it to stop doing it. not sure if it is the same thing you are talking about.

Mine is doing the same thing. It seems to have retained words I entered that first day - it's not adding new ones as I go along
Try this: click in the add word field, and it may pop up a box of selectable words. If you hover over a word, you should see an X off to the right. Click on that to remove that word. You'll need to do that for all of them that are stored. I had to repeat this a few times but I think I got them all now.
for some odd reason it isn't doing it today but i was wondering how to stop it all together.

It's not doing it in Firefox or Edge either. Can't speak for Safari, not a Macintosh user.
I'm on chrome for mac and it does add about a new word a day. I just had to x out dawel, which I tried yesterday.
