and vice versa. I have not been doing too great. Had a very much needed relief with Nero, who stayed with Caya and Juno for a few days. Back home now, Rob is still not well. On his 4th AB, referral to the skin specialist, it is wearing me down and I do not have much bounce left.

it is nothing major. But it has been going on for months now and I am so so tired. I just told the gp we were both running on empty and she really heard me. Hence the referral to the skin specialist. They will see if the infection needs to be treated locally with injections.

i hear you sprite. the constant stress from knowing your other half is not well, plus him being physically unable to step up to the mark each and every day is exhausting.
I know how hard that is! But I think having to step up is easier than losing them by a long shot.

plus having to drive him to each and every appointment, and also he somehow leans on me mentally too, I have to be 'on' all the time.
Living alone is so hard for me. I have to hire people to take care of my yard. I can't do more than 30 minutes at a time. I do have a PT referral, but it's not for 5 more weeks. I made the ortho appt in Jan, saw him last month...things take too long!
Sprite, I know how hard that is. Deep breaths. Once you are back home tell him you need to rest. Then rest! I think the hardest thing I had to do was take Michael for brain surgery.
I really really feel for you, Kam, and I hate for you to be alone without your beloved. But I also dislike the comparison. It is not about who has it worse. Sometimes we need to share our worries with our friends and to be taken seriously.
I totally understand you are having a hard time. I'm not trying to compare.
