yesterday was pretty okay. I slept well and I didn't have too much to do. Asked Caya to come and pick up Lewi in the evening, rather than this morning so that I did not have to walk this morning. Slept lousy last night though, so am a bit wobbly.
we applied for two appartments. Please pray for us that one will be the one...
have slept most of the night last night, right through to 5:30am. another ' nap ' this afternoon.

yes, today is a really slow day. Only Nero. It is mega hot here, over 35C which is huge in this country, especially with the humidity. So we sit in front of the ventilator. Lol, Rob put one of them on the floor for the dogs and they love it!

weird, this app LOOKS like it would do what i want but then it just doesn't seem to actually access the picture i selected
now i'm trying with the Calendar app cause it lets you add an attachment and i wanted to see how that works. but the calendar app doesn't seem to be actually showing the alerts i ask it to show
oh apparently i had "Do Not Disturb" turned on and didn't even know it, so that's why calendar wasn't working

nope - didn't work for me, must be doing something wrong
i did the shortcut and automator thing. you could just do a picture directly in the ical app, only then you can't set it to also automatically close after a certain amount of time
but i had to read a bunch of instructions to know how to do it properly

I would never just trust Google AI about anything. It always sounds certain, but it is often wrong, and sometimes even contradicts itself.
That's a problem with AI in general - it gets things wrong ("hallucinates"), but sounds certain.
I read about somebody who used ChatBot (I think) to help them write an essay on Proust's The Remembrance of Things Past, and it kept giving them long quotations that were supposed to be from the work, but that were actually completely made up.
