wish, it'll be hair, grease, sludge ... she puts everything down that drain .. i'm anti dishwasher pods .. it leaves a layer of grit that builds up over time and catches other things to create a blockage
As a long time sufferer of kitchen sink back ups, NOTHING goes down my drain. Everything gets scraped into the trash and pans greasy from cooking get wiped out with a paper towel before washing.

I have heard horror stories from plumbers about what people put down the garbage disposal. Kitty Litter, 5 pounds of ground beef. It floors me that people are that ignorant.
I've always put egg shells down the disposal but one time on vacation that one didn't like it.
also found out early on that potato skins aren't good for it either.

My daughter happily offers to do the dishes when her in-laws come to visit since they scrape the dishes into the sink and down the disposal. And they wonder why they've had backups and have had to replace their disposals several times
