Thanks Jeanne
Still working on yours, Ruru.
I found ru's fo7
Clues are up
"feeling very proud"
it's a funny word isn't it
it is. Hey, saanichat, my granddaughter said she likes you (ravens) thinks you're very cool
or was that my son David. He likes them too. I've had a bit of very nice St. Emilion and then a really good long talk with 16 year old grandson and too hyped up to sleep
sounds like a comfortable night all round. Will write soon
Which St Emillion?
I dunno, I'm up on the third floor now, was a grand cru though.
So7
You know I don't remember these things ru
Oh. Send a pic tomorrow
remember it is 1:22 here and I should definitely be sleeping. Just so full of the emotion and the talk I had with Levi. It was remarkable
Oh nice
he'll remember it forever
Did the Galapagos trip play a part in it?
and we had a rollicking game of boggle whilst drinking the wine. and yes, he surely will. I made sure that he will dwell on the good times, there have been many
Nope, but we did discuss Paris. He was only 5 then but remembers it well. And many Martha's Vineyard trips. Like every year since before he was born (except for when I turned 60 and we went to Sonoma!
That was a momentous trip - Sonoma
well, yeah! you met me@!@!!
Ha!

morning babblers
Hi sprite
hiya ru
well I have to say good night, sprite and others. Time to force myself to go to sleep since I have grandchildren to spoil in the morning.
night Dorens!
sleep well
ok, I will. down to less than 30 so definitely time to try to sleep. Night all
Happy Birthday dearest Sprite!! 21 again?
thanks honey. Oh please no. Not the best time in my life, 21, lol. I am happy at 59 :D
59?
Happy birthday
yep, one more year till the big 'un
heya ruru
thank you, ru
Hi GR
I was going to say you don’t look a day over sixty ;D
hello all - happy birthday Sprite xx
hellooooo urshy
hiya ursh, thank you!
*giggles* Welll thank you ru!
actually ruru she doesn't look a day over 50. i think she has been sipping at the fountain of youth. xoxox
*grins* At least I will never look as old as I feel
or you don't look as old as the man you feel....
mmmmmm that too
* giggles *
speaking of the old man... is he awake yet?
no, deep asleep. Will probably be for a couple more hours
i'm surviving on 3 hours sleep.i had one of those nights. *sigh*
ugh yeah, I know them well. Some severe man-with-the-hammer moments in days after those nights
he's lucky he can sleep in. don and I have to be up between 7 and 8 in order to take our meds on time. never gonna sleep in again. waaahhh.
I am the same. Rob is indeed lucky, though he had a bad time with the AB. So many rules! Not less than 30 mins before food or at least 2 hours after, stand up while taking it, not lying down at least for an hour after taking it.
ugh. yep. those are the ones. just got to love them AB's.
poor man had 3 treatments of those, alas. But all done and dusted now, including the pneumonia one. He is pill free.... but I put him on the pre- and probiotics :D
good idea, his bowel flora will be severely compromised for a while.
that is what i told him. No good beasties left so get your ass in gear and take the darn powders. Yes, in lukewarm water. Yes, on an empty stomach. And quit whining :D
so, what's on your agenda for today?
honey, nothing much. It is a week day so I do not expect the kids, though Caya might pop in. Rob and I will have coffee with apple pie later this morning, and that is it for today. We will plan a family day soon to celebrate the birthdays of Rob, me, Lisa and Juno combined.
lol... they are incredible aren't they? you should here Don because I want him to take Vit B supplements to help his memory.
they are. Precious, beloved and terribly headstrong.
I keep telling him that the tablets are easier to take than the injections... that usually quietens him.
:D
I keep wondering if these memory lapses are because he just can't be bothered trying to remember, or is it something a little more sinister. you see, he can remember anything to do with him, like hearing tests, etc, but my stuff, when i remind him, i get, oh, I forgot. really makes you feel treasured..not
well you know he is a little teeny tiny bit selfish, your beloved husband... so it is probably both. Of course his short term memory is not as good as 20 years ago, that comes with age. And even though he loves you very much, he is more focused on himself than on you.
* sigh * yeah I know. and he is pretty good about doing stuff for me nowadays. I took your advice and just him like it is. It makes me feel awful, like a nag or something. but it does get through to him.
it is the educating his mother should have done for him but didn't. And it is not nagging, honey. It is setting clear boundaries which will benefit you both in the end.
boundaries like i'm not going to swat him you mean?
:D
fireflies. FUn grid today
poofing with *hugs*
* hugs * sprite. Talk to you later. xoxox
Good morning, Babblers. :)
good morning cross
How many of you remember the app called "StumbleUpon?" It allowed random web surfing based on your likes and dislikes and brought you to interesting web sites you might not have otherwise found. Sadly this app has been defunct for several years now. Recently, I have found an app in the Google Play Store called "Mix" that does exactly what StumbleUpon used to do. I highly reccommend it to those who may be interested.
StumbleUpon was the best, my friends and I would always share the best stuff we found while stumblin.
Will have to check Mix out
Any help for 7s or 8 welcome.

Doren, how are you doing? At home, or traveling?
In Baltimore with m y very aged grandchildren, just turned 16 and 19!
yesterday i got the easiest survey ever
I started here in 2006 when Phoebe was a baby.
Saw you were in Acadia recently. They have a house on Deer Isle, not far from there, on the cove with a bunch of kayaks, very lovely place
only one question, should student phones be banned in classrooms - now that's an easy one
Yes I started just before she was born..
hell yeah
Nice, Doren. Maine is a special place. We hiked for 6 days, no paddling on this trip.
very easy question,hursh
i wonder if you could find even one teacher anywhere who would say "no, don't ban student phones"
Hurshy, yes. Students must learn, and learn self-discpline.
lots of mossy ferny spots up there, yes great hiking
yay for moss!
gtg, ttfn all!
Bye Hurshy
