before you go Sprite - I have a question regarding Expert. Lickety emailed a fix to me which is working ok - but does not send words to clues - any ideas ?
g
So what is the advantage of using Expert if it doesn't send words to the clue list? I thought that was the whole point. Otherwise you could just copy and paste your word list into Lickety's list like most of us do.
isn't it a problem he is still working on? a while back he apologized for having to enter the words twice.
Yes Saan, I was of the impression he was still working on it. However Sprite keeps claiming it works for her. But she is the only one so that makes me wonder.

Hi welki. How are you doing?
doing well, thanks. going on a short trip a week from tomorrow, to san francisco. oldest grandkid is on tour again; her mother and i will meet at the airport, go to her show that night and then head up the coast for a few days
Wow, fun!

NI
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
I passed halfway so I need to get on with my day. Enjoy the day.

probably
we're sitting on the Monster, I'm excited
I read something in the Washington Post about how much it cost to take a family of four to a Nats game and almost fainted.
beers at the giants games are $16 bucks

it's a trek to get out there though
it's where we'll stay after our visit. a trek? just in the middle of nowhere, or difficult driving?
just a long drive down River Road.. you go through Guerneville and Monte Rio and further
from my house at least 3 hours
good day everyon - 42 left for later :)
just found an odd un7 and 8 pair
must be one helluva road, the map says it's only 47 miles
I saw the clue for the de8. Have no idea. know nothing about baseball
but I just found it. ty Molly
it's an hour to santa rosa from my house there is a short cut I can give you from santa rosa at least an hour and a half
ohhhhh - i thought you were in santa rosa
no.. i'm in Napa
I'm not in any gangs any longer so Santa Rosa didn't make sense
good thing you told me, i could be knocking on doors all day in santa rosa, asking if they know where ru lives
:D
found a ntpn, probably for the canadians and folks from montana - first nation group
sure is hard to close out a few tiles in this one
probably a good thing you're there - we need you to point us in the right direction to some wine and a wine store, so we can buy some for the house-owners as a thank you. will likely not be "enough," so maybe a donation to their local rescue in their name, too
i've managed to get every tile down to only one or two left if not grey, 19 words left
one stop shopping here .. I've got plenty of wine. I'll give you some for a gift for them.
noooo
Wow, I thought everyone knew there was first, second, third and home ____ in baseball

Always a good sign when you clear the first letter at the start.
I see Wichita.

ding ding ding
I talked to an airline person and said I was flying there but she didn't understand where I was going. I spelled it for her. "No, that is Wi-cheeta." Took me awhile to quit laughing.
what? lol
And the Wicheeta lineman, is still on the liiiiine
whew.. tough grid.. was it big enough for you bea?
this is a tough one. probably won't finish.
I'm hesitant to answer that question, ru.
:D good thinking
a few weird ass words in this one
<--- for sure, hokie, is a hag
meaning i am, not you!
haha
That was a fast final.
yep
well, I finished the G
still need a lower E and 4th row i for HOET
I'm off to the library before it gets too hot. Afraid I've missed that window.
yep
I still have 47 left here but going to do other things
worked at this for a few minutes last night - still 156 left -and don't really feel like tackling something this big, so will be giving it a pass. Hagd everyone :)
Don't blame you a bit Nan. There is more to life than these weird ass grids. Enjoy your day.
quitters
Oh, are we name calling? Word game addict!
first they complain about small grids then they complain about large grids.. this is babble not goldilocks :D
I think the only people who like large grids are the ones whose number one happy place is in front of a green and yellow computer screen. Which is kind of sad.
I'm just stalling because i have to move a ton of wine to a new cellar.
You don't hire people to do that for you?
nope.. I do it myself
I guess i should start my day.. have a good day Molly
ips
oops

ed7 is a superlative
hi nrk
I can't find ch7
Hi!
hmm
ty for ed7
35 to go here... 10-11-6-7-1
72 left here
chipping away at this one. 77 left
I usually work every single tile until I get to only 1 or 2 left before I move on, but totally impossible today.
Or possible, but too unpleasant to bother.
i try to pick a quadrant and stay within it.
but sometimes just go for it.
a good weekend for dsncing. last night and tomorrow outdoors
Oh, hell no for dancing outdoors in this weather.
give me AC any day
I'm planning another competition in October
around 5- and there is shade and a sidewalk
i think that's great. i'd love to see that.
I think it will be in Livingston, NJ, so quite a hike for you, but you're welcome to come in any case
time to stay at the family b&b. but not undoable in a day
i am wanting to get to asbury park, there is so much going on there. can stay in toms river at a friend's place. actually thinking of moving there.
It's usually like $35 for spectacting for the day. They start at 8AM and go till about 5, so you can catch a few hours pretty flexibly any time in between. I strongly recommend avoiding the early morning stuff --
I haven't been to Asbury Park. Most of my east side of the state stuff is Cape May
spies during WWII were known for parach7 into France
i was there once long ago. family goes there since they did not rebuild there shel of a beach home after sandy.
thanks, hurshy
perhaps we will get to the dame dance sometime. recreational for me, or course. :D
I haven't done much at all "out in the wild"... mostly just lessons and group classes and parties
meaning student parties
waiting for one in flemington. she is promoting in asbury park for the summer, so i guess in the fall
oh my, time has flown. time for a break.
in the wild will be fun. you will see al levels and styles. lots of personalization
the hardest are leads who don't know what they are doing. but that happens more in speciaiized dance like cajun and zydeco.
maybe someday you'll talk me into it :)
i was dancing with a smasjed finger. not too bad.
the gang is for swing, mostly.
i will let you know when at havana on sunday afternoon.
sounds good
see you
What is it with this grid?
aarrgh!!!
down to 19... even now that I'm using the list, it's still hard
done, but annoyed :)
So I'm right. Doing these grids is self-inflicted pain : D
at least today it is, yes
If it had been a weekday I would have given up, but I had time to persist
But you persisted in something annoying. I'm sure there is a psych paper here somewhere.
Asking myself "why?",
Think I'll go take this frustration out on some chicken.
It would have annoyed me more to not finish, on a day when I had time to keep going
lesser of two evils
Or the Sunk Cost Fallacy
get
Stumped by last columns and E……..the e is third row. Any help welcome. Ty.
consuming....ea 6....
