ve 11 - can't believe I didn't find it sooner
in10
longest ve I've found is a 5 and don't see a way to extend it
Thanks to Rainiqui, the first word I found was the ve 11. I know it’s kinda cheating, but it’s really fun to see an average word length of 11!
found it - surprised myself - helped to know it was a normal word
don't you just hate it when one of your phantoms turns out to be in the grid after all?
too tired for this -- good night everyone :)
morning, babblers! *hugs grannyrose*
* hugs * rebel how are you traveling honey?
a bit on the groggy side, to be honest, grannyrose. my meds are finally doing their work, but i think they're a little too effective.
maybe your body is finally reaching maintenance levels. go with the flow a few more days, then think about cutting back a little if you are allowed to do so.
i will do that. that's a great idea. i'll be traveling to little rock tomorrow with my sister for my ketamine therapy appointment on tuesday. we usually travel there the day before and get a hotel room for the night so we don't have to make the trip all in one day.
good idea to break the driving up into smaller bits. hope all goes well for you.
it should. we haven't had any trouble since we've been breaking up the driving. we used to do it all in one day, and it was exhausting. and with school coming up next week, it's going to prove to be even more tiresome. we both have school on mondays, and with full days at school and then driving four hours??? that'll just put a big old wrench in the works for both of us.
can I have a clue for the in 10 plse
doesnt speak very well
i bought myself a large square pillow to put between me and the seat, to soften the vibrations from the road.
thanks Ursh, FWs
need my nanna nap. catch y'all at the flip. xoxox
bye!
awesome, we are back. I really hope Jamie will decide to move to a better server. Morning babblers.
morning, sprite! *hugs*
hi rebel. Nice to see your meds start doing their thing.
yes, a bit too well at the moment, but i'm still adjusting to them. hopefully just in time for school to start.
yeah no worries. It is great they work so well. The side effects will lessen over time.
i hope so. can't drive being this groggy all the time.
What is ketamine for?
depression, ruru.
I remember the time I was getting used to my anti deps. I couldn't stop yawning, it almost split my head in two so bad was it, and I could sleep at the drop of a hat. But after a while, those side effects disappeared.
Oh
hiya ru :)
it's a general anesthetic that's used for a number of things, ruru. but recently, it's been found to be a game changer in the mental health field as an anti-depression drug.
Hiya sprite
Thank you rebel. I have heard of it and abuse of it nor knowing why they used it
it does get a bad rap because of its misuse. it's sad, but true.
I thankfully am not a person dealing with depression
they used it on me when I had broken my ankle rather spectacularly. The paramedics gave me a huge shot before turning my foot back in the right direction. A rather nightmarish experience. I really cannot believe anyone would choose to use ketamine as their drug of choice. But in lower doses it can be very beneficial.
I remember that sprite
exactly. believe it or not, whether people realize it or not, most anesthesiologists use it during general surgery on their patients to knock them out.
it is originally a vetenarian drug, used on horses. As I understand it, it does not sedate you as much as make it impossible to register the pain. But I am no expert.
Wouldnn
Wouldn’t it be nagging at you then?
anyway, the use as anti dep is relatively new and is promising. Very different doses of course.
lol. I wouldn't know. Or neigh.
It might spur you onto new things?
At least it should make you feel less saddle
It could rein in a lot of bad vibes though
for human use, it was used on pregnant women for deliveries so they wouldn't feel the pain as much. this was before epidurals. the depression portion of use is still fairly new. less than 20 years as far as i know. i've been on it since 2017.
quit horsing around, ru
You know me sprite always chomping at the bit
I hope the new regime will settle soon, rebel.
me too, sprite.
definitely a fair a-mount, ru
Nothing gets pasture sprite
though I have to pony up a lot of brainpower to keep up with you, ru

it makes life a hack of lot more fun
ohhhhhh I found the 11! Awesome word!
could you clue it for me, please, sprite?
to make a puppet talk for you, rebel
oooohhhhh! thanks!
awesome, isn't it! Beautiful word for a puzzle.
yeah!
Off to bed. Night you two
sleep well, ru. No nightmares, ya hear!
bye, ruru!
the 10 isn't bad either. I love it when the biggies are real words.
same her, or they're not medical or scientific words
yeah, words that you might use in normal convo. Enable has too many oddball words, lol
still, after all those years, they have grown on me. I kinda love the oddballity of it all
now, that should be a word to find in the grid! lol
:D :D
could you tell me what the 10 starts with please?
in 10, deeha
in10/91, Deeha

fireflies. Anything else I might clue before I go?
okay, then I am poofing with hugs. Have a blessed day and a peaceful night, all.
yes, i'm not getting the end of the ve 11 right
The ve is a fairly common word, that doesn’t build on another word in the puzzle
it’s not a compound word
Sorry, I’m not being very clear—it does start with another word in the puzzle, but isn’t a compound
i know the word, but the ending isn't coming out right...
Alas, I can’t think of a way to further clue it without entirely giving it away
understood. thank you.
got it!
the el8 is very el8 :)
interesting that a particular shetland / norwegian word is accepted, but the orkney equivalent isn't
The in10 is very in10

She was both....
she was a little before my time. only seen pics of her and a sock.
well the sock's voice came from her...
it didn't have its own?
i was clueing for bichon...figured she would know her....
i always thought it was weird that she called the puppet Lamb Chop....like the lamb would want to be one??...
maybe it was more a term of endearment? but yeah, like calling your cow Ribeye.
yup...
well i am down to 15 and stalled....at least I have the big ones out of the way....

easy peasy grid

OVLR and 2D

oh missed a normal d4!
and a plural!
OVL, 1-1-1
the 4 was the V!

o5 ends like the italian pasta pockets
there is no o6
o5 is an odd word
ding ding ding for molly
thanks for that O clue, marilyn
stuck at 6 here. 2-1-2-1 S Q E D Y L
found the D. regular 4 word.

habe you got the long fish like thing?
ah, thanks!
:D
don't know why I couldn't see it. it's there 2 ways!
its not obvious even though!
apparently not. or I claim babble blindness. now Y6 and L6. will probably have to list. might skim the chat first.
lo6 - just try things that like they should be words
y6 is a normal-ish word
that should help. so many directions to go on that L when you don't know the 2nd letter.
ye6
