lovely to see you too sprite. not so bad. had my first dental appointment in 5 years on Wednesday. interesting experience.
what made it interesting?
weeelllll..... dentist gave me injections before she removed roots x 2. front of the gum not too bad. but the ones into my palate. hmmm. tears running down my face, a few small squeaks was all i did. then she removed the needle, and that's when the FM shakes started. ALL OVER MY ENTIRE BODY.
ughhhhh sounds too familiar.
they kept saying what's happening? and i said that i thought she had FM patients before, and she said but none of them did this after the injection. and in my he4 i'm thinking then you have not had a true FM patient before.
well not all FM patients are created equal, silly goose. SOme react less severe. Others might be even worse.
i know that but one could be forgiven that some of her other FM patients reacted like this. lol. and they kept saying how brave i was. they have had big burly men bellowing from the pain of the palate injections.
I hate getting those. But I hate the pain of not being sedated even more, so there you go. It is bad all the way around. Dentists... ughhhhhhh
anyway, by year's end i will be done and dusted, just will have to wait for new partial denture.
that is wonderful. You will feel better then.
sure will. i was told when i went on the waiting list that it would be 2 years, but i have had to wait only 8 months. that's something to be grateful for, and the cost is almost only about 15% of a private dentist.

Rob is doing pretty okay. If his knees were not so bad, I think he'd be pretty active all day. Now it is in bits and pieces but he is still doing a lot.
kinda like the woman I used to be, lol. You may remember. The one that wrote and wrote and even got published and wrote some more.
wtg Rob. is he remembering to elevate his feet at least 3 times/day? or do you have to remind him?
that is simply not happening. I would have to tie him up to make that happen. But he is wearing his socks religiously and sleeps with the elevated bed thing.
oh dear heart. yeah i hear you. it's amazing how just a few nights of deep refreshing sleep puts us back on our feet, so to speak.

this time it was because i had decided to do yoga, and he laid on the end of the mat, and when i got down to do cobra pose, i pet him a bit first and then when i actually went to do the pose, i stopped, and that made him mad. but i did suspect he might before he did it, and i just was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. from now on i just need to not give him the benefit of the doubt. perhaps shut him in the bathroom if i'm going to do yoga.

I was too nice to her while I also told her she had no clue about Judaism, and that in my religion, we don't proselytize. I should just have told her to get lost.

The Lubavitcher Hassids did the same thing-- not to convert Christians, but to bring young Jews to the hassidic fold. The seventies was an era for cults of many types.
