I've got one word for the right column P, but I really can't see any more.
re 7
Actually, I take that back - just found 2 more
di7/8
pe7 (odd one)
indeed
so... Lickety back, and babble working... it looks like a good day. Hope it stays working today. Morning babblers
the pe7 is not that weird, btw. It is a currency, just like the more common one. Ghana coin, 1/100 of a cedi. In case you wondered. :D
made it all the way to fireflies today, glad the site stayed up. Bye all.
I'll vote weird for the pe7. Most people are not familiar with the currency of Ghana.
Good morning, Babblers
well, I've made up a lot of good un- words but enable disagrees
they are there hokie.. normal words
I'm sure eventually I'll hit on one
you're wearing one
I do have un6 that goes under your clothes
un6 not feeling protected
un5 to remove stitching maybe?
(Was sure he was going to mention belt buckles)
I'll let those percolate
(Or bra straps)

I was going to ask how he knew what I was wearing

the right hand P is being a problem for me
14 left, and 4 of them are from that P
bottom row gray but 24 left. 3-7-13-0-1
I grayed the right hand P. do you have the pe6/7 we were just talking about?
If you are remembering words like that currency from Ghana you have graduated to the Uber Word Geek status
yes
ohhh I don't, let me look back in the chat
*Restrains mael
still lower tier here. I had to be prompted, didn't see them before I knew there was a word.
but now that you said that I know how it's spelled, Molly

I would buy that too
oh, found my other 8

I bet it's a di word
yep

oh duh on the di7/8 thank you

I too thought they were phantoms. You'd think at my age I'd know to always try the phantoms anyway
the Fs are fairly normal
we tell ourselves all the time to do that
found one more F
1-4-10 not a good sign
oh, there's a set of 3 F
1-3-6 P H F P DD WW E S

What's with the Google doodle? Is it math geek week?
I was wondering that yesterday. usually it gives you an idea of why.
wa5/24?
cookie?
DNA
ty dorens
yw
wa5/6 was my last word(s) that I had so much trouble with
No, not DNA. Yesterday it was quadratic equations
Apparently Google Doodle is celebrating the start of the school week. Unbeknownst to them, school started last week in lots of places.
Well September is usually the beginning of the school year. Good enough for me.
It was always the week after Labor Day when I was a kid
started a month ago in a lot of places
me too but these kiddos started Aug 4
KS started mid-August
I start seeing back to school stuff in the stores in July and it is damned depressing
not moreso than halloween stuff in july
The Christmas stuff will probably be out this week
Thursday after Labor Day here in NJ. But it is moving up a lot in many places now. Still, September is the traditional start. Or Christmas stuff in September??
and winter clothes for back to school shopping has been a thing since I was young. we didn't have AC in my high school - I wasn't dressing in winter clothes in Aug!
.
Our local garden centre always have their full Christmas decoration display open by the end of August. It's a fabulous display, but seems way too early.
We leave for a cruise on September 19 and won't be back until October 6. I expect Christmas and Halloween in every store when we return.
I've seen a lot of Christmas stuff and Halloween stuff already
I saw some at the thrift store the other day. Truth is, I've been hobbled with a sprained ankle and haven't really been out to stores in a couple weeks.
Oh poor you, will you be able to get around for you cruise
I should manage okay. I'm betting it will be better by then, but if not I may rent one of those electric cruise chairs to get around.
That sounds like a good plan
Time for a break, may catch you later
:)
morning all
Morning, Fish. :)
good morning everyone :)
is it just me or is this grid on the difficult side?
Howdy, Nan. :)
Some found it easy, but after a first run through I am stalled with 58 still to go. :/

Doing a nice roast beef with taters, carrots, onions, and secret herbs and spices served with yorkie puds plus gravy from the drippings. Yum!
It is that time of year to transition from summer meals to a nice roast beef with taters & carrots.
Food is so expensive now so we are going back to recepies from our youth--pork chops baked in cream sauces, spagetti with homemade sauce, lasagne, stews in the slow cooker, and desserts made at home instead of pre-made.
Even dug out my old popcorn pot for stovetop popping. :)
Scalloped taters, etc, etc,
Various casseroles.
does anyone have clues for the 8s
Di8 plague carrier, etc
thank you crosshair
De8--to really hate someone
