4:51 am

Hi Dianne, sorry was not at the PC, my 4/7 was a typo which I corrected in a subsequent posting - apologies.

4:56 am

Fmitch - pease look at my list and tell me what I am missing. I have 5 CE words, cl4/7, 5/16 x 2 and cu4/7.

4:59 am

7:01 am

7:01 am

Out of interest - how long do you "high scorers" spend doing these puzzles. I seem to spend ages, but don't get the results !

7:03 am

annevans - have you tried using a2zwordfinder.com - it's a big help. Time spent on each puzzle varies with the number of words, but it can be several hours!

7:03 am

There's an st 4 4 that will give you a st 5 10 x 2, st 6 21 and st 8 60 - is that the one you mean cbr1965?

7:03 am

jacula there's a singer not Pearl but Richard Cl.....man. sounds like

7:03 am

Why does the phone ring when you are in mid monkey type supposedly in an orderly manner? Then a second time.So here I go again and I must go out soon.

7:34 am

Angsee you managed to finish the beast yesterday lol was determined not to let it beat me...didn't see you around though :)

7:35 am

I will do 100 lines.. I must spell anj's name properly I must spell anj's name properly........

7:36 am

I was a bit of a sick puppy yesterday :/ Played quietly for a couple of hours in the afternoon, but went to see Steve Forbert in the evening so I missed most of the usual suspects. I think I got my last 120 words just after you'd signed off for the night.

7:37 am

a bit late then lol you feeling better today?

7:37 am

How many s words are there? The chat keeps moving & I can't count fast enough!

7:38 am

22 esses

7:39 am

Jera look at jaculas listing at 07.00

7:39 am

26 x s

7:40 am

That's exactly what I was trying to count, FMitch! No worries I finally copied it & pasted...

7:41 am

sorry should be 26...miscount!

7:41 am

I have an important announcement everyone.... I broke into the top 100, yay!

7:41 am

well done Jera...hip hip hooray :)

7:42 am

Better, thanx...getting there. My colour's coming back lol

7:42 am

I was surprised, I only got about halfway yesterday...

7:42 am

Good Anj...that pasty faced look isn't in this season!!!

7:43 am

Greeting, Anj... I didna recognize you with your new icon!

7:43 am

I'm going for the natural goth look :)

7:44 am

ok got to go maybe later bye

7:44 am

Hi Jera - congrats on the top 100. I still can't work out how the scores work tho'

7:46 am

Me neither, my score ave. went down (even though it was big yesterday), but my rank went up... go figure.

7:46 am

Bye Kalia... did you finish?

7:51 am

It looks as if your score is more greatly affected by starting but not finishing a puzzle than it is by not registering a score at all for a particular day.

7:54 am

Jacula and Anj - thank you both for posting the S list.

7:54 am

I thought so, too, that's why I was so worried when I fell asleep & didna get back last night. Oh well. I'll take it, however it's figured!

7:55 am

brb... my son is awake & needs to get settled with morning stuff...

7:58 am

y/w Dianne. Mine wasn't quite right tho' :( one too many sl4/4s and one too few st5/12s. Hope that wasn't a problem

8:01 am

I'm back... what did I miss?

8:03 am

hi folks! any clue on the st7 or st8? i'm stumped!

8:03 am

...a few bits of tumbleweed blew past, but not much else ;)

8:03 am

Hi sfneil - how did you get on with those last 57 yesterday?

8:04 am

Oh good... I'm in a chatty mood today for some reason... ignore me & I'll go away... ;>

8:04 am

Hi Anj! I got down to less than ten to go, I think, then timed out.

8:06 am

What a pain :( Oh well, at least today's is a gentle start to the week :) st7/40 - place for dead pigs ;) st8/60 - build on your 2nd st6/21

8:08 am

I dunno... some of the short ones can be really tough.

8:10 am

Thanks, Anj, but I don't even have the second 6/21 yet! I'm just not seeing it.

8:11 am

I judge it on how many words I can get before I need to refer to clues or the AtoZ. If it's about 70% or more then I don't feel too intimidated

8:13 am

Got the dead pig one, though... thanks Anj!

8:15 am

Whoa, hang on...i'm doing it again. It's your first st6/21 - said something as in 's....... the obvious' The 2nd st6/21 is the plural of a word for replace that usually starts inst... Sorry about that. Whatever i'm on today I need to up the dosage :(

8:16 am

Just saw them both... thanks!

8:20 am

Hi Jera - I went up in rankings too and I didn't finish either - strange

8:20 am

Mornin' cbr! You read my big news? Tee-hee!

8:23 am

Guess what - me too - I was exactly numnber 100 yesterday and am 96 today! Never thought it would happen

8:23 am

Whoo-hoo for us!

8:24 am

Did you finish yesterday?

8:24 am

Never mind, LOL, saw answer. I'm just all atwitter.

8:24 am

I missed 26 words on Saturday, lost 7 points and dropped 15 places lol. I completed yesterday's and jumped two places up again, but no score improvement. Weird...

8:25 am

I wasn't going to play yesterday because I had not a hope in hell completing it and thougt it would affect my ranking, Then the ddictie side so go on play you know you want to hahaha So I did and I think that maybe why our rankings have improved because we did play and a lot didn't

8:25 am

Are you kidding? Weekends are the hardest for me because I have kid activities all day - so, no, I think I got to about 240 or so

8:26 am

Weekends are easier for me sometimes, as I have help with the kids. However, they want to do stuff with me... I have a space on my desk for my son to color. He spends most of his time copying the grid... the boy's gonna have perfect penmanship, LOL!

8:27 am

Hi Moozey :) Yes I noticed a lot of the top10 seemed to have skipped yesterday's beast and their scxores are unaffected. Sound tactics if you ask me lol

8:28 am

I can't even read my third graders handwriting at all - I'm hoping he takes up typing soon!

8:28 am

I tried to do that Anj, but I just couldn't resist. I did make myself do 100 on paper before I got confident enough to enter on-line.

8:29 am

My daughter, Sprite, is in 4th grade & has dismal handwriting. Too busy to take the time... Gwyd on the other hand is meticulous!

8:30 am

My second grader's is terrible too! Maybe it runs in the family.

8:30 am

any hints on the De7/32?

8:31 am

de7/32 - gods

8:32 am

evanadine, it's plural of what a de5/12 believes in

8:32 am

The last 5 years of pc-based design & analysis has destroyed my handwriting :( I just don't have to put pen to paper like I used to...

8:32 am

Sprite wants to learn calligraphy... I'm thinking that might help... she's very artsy.

8:33 am

Lotsa puter people have bad handwriting... my husband is a computer engineer & it's the proverbial chicken scratch!

8:33 am

I cannot get the st8/60, I have the 2nd st6/21 but can't see how to use it. Anj, could you give a clue plz ;)

8:33 am

That's worth encouraging Jera. There's nothing quite like proper copperplate script :)

8:33 am

That's gret activity - my younger sister loved it in 4th and 5th grade - I'mm off to work - talk to you guys in about 9 hours

8:34 am

Later, cbr!

8:35 am

So long, cbr!

8:36 am

Hi Punster. It's actually run from your first st6/21. My eyes and I are having a bit of a disagreement at the mo... lol Root is the st5 (Iowa, Missouri etc) st6 is the past tense, st8 builds on the past tense and means to happen at the proper time

8:37 am

9 hrs CBR? I will be a vampire by then, but will no doubt still be counting ze vords heh heh heh...

8:38 am

For not having seen that I should be shot :( It would probably do me good...

8:40 am

lol...I've thought that before, but given my luck I would probably miss myself

8:42 am

Anj, could you give some clues for the e's in the top left hand corner? I just can't seem to get any! It's really bugging me ;}

8:48 am

8:51 am

There are 3 off that middle E: ec4/4 - pan-european currency, plural ec5/14 - great acclaim, success, applause - also an old Lotus I think ec6/24 - do the 's' thing with the ec5

9:21 am

y/w Jaydee :) Jera, A fur-lined hood %u2013 later, a fur cape %u2013 which was worn by a church official in church processions. That should google nicely? one al7 is the plural.

Yipe! lose the weird symbols :(

9:22 am

OK, need to be elsewhere for a while now. BBL. Have fun :)

9:22 am

9:30 am

I have to admit I flit between the two unless I am really doing badly or working on a big puzzles and then I keep a list of all 1st and 2nd letter words in Word

9:32 am

It's my way of organizing the stats... better on paper for me, as Ihave short-term memory problems. If I write it, I remember better than just seeing it.

*meant 'add'. SilLY me!

9:58 am

thanks Jacula

10:00 am

jo the al4/4 is down at the left hand corner

10:00 am

Hi Jo. For your 'al' word, think of giving to the poor.

10:00 am

Greetings, newcomers! I was lost looking for ce-words...:(

10:00 am

Thanks, Edmo! Thats a start! :-)

10:03 am

Need hints for ce5/14x2, please! I really tried this time...

10:05 am

jera add short for street and add a vowel for each one

10:05 am

Jera: ce 5/14 - have you ever played Jai Alai? Think of the "mitt" used in the sport. The other ce 5/14 is something of an ancient Greek girdle .. (( I monkey typed to find that one, but the dictionary gave me the definition!))

10:07 am

hIA CHARLOTTE HOWZ U? SnOoP

10:08 am

Hi Lola :o) How you doing?

eze han

10:09 am

I must be especially dense today... greek girdle starts with z (not in this puzzle)... never heard of a ce stah is short for street! Sorry!!

10:09 am

Oh, & never played jai alai

10:09 am

Hi lotti! Still recovering from yesterday! Managed to finish tho' :)

10:10 am

not in uk add short for saint

10:11 am

Got the jai alai one, thanks!

10:11 am

Well done!!!! I didn`t have the patience :)

wtf han

10:11 am

any hints on the CL5/16 that doesnt go with the CL4/7?

10:12 am

evandine - drop the plural and add .....

10:12 am

Sorry, Jera!. I watched Jai Alai in S FLA, so knew that one. The Ce's are all a bit obscure, I'm afraid. The other CE is defined as: woman's belt or girdle, especially as worn in ancient Greece.

10:12 am

I'm not very patient either but am starting to worry that I may be a little compulsive/obsessive!

10:13 am

Got the ce14's thanks! I was hoping ce6/24 would be a plural but I can't see it...

10:13 am

Clues for 'ce's': ce4/7 To yield or grant. ce4/7 Currency unit of Ghana. ce5/16 Plural of the above. ce5/14 A scoop-shaped wicker basket that is worn over the hand & used to catch & throw the ball in jai alai. ce5/14 Women's belts or girdles, esp. as worn in ancient Greece. ce6/24 No dictionary definition for this but think of the French familiar form of saying 'It is you'.

10:13 am

add a vowel to the cl4/7

10:13 am

thanks dachef!

10:13 am

I have been lapsing into french, but no luck so far with the ce6...

10:14 am

Me too Lola! I`m sure it could be worse.

10:15 am

jera..."it's you!"

10:15 am

Learn something new every day here... only knew zoster for Greek girdle...

hia hannah dis class is sooooooooooooooooo funny!!! hehe c u soon!!!!

10:16 am

Gotcha... was looking for u for "tu."

10:16 am

Have you done Macadam?

10:17 am

Whew! *wiping sweaty brow* done with the c's!!

10:19 am

I've learned something new, too. Thought 'zoster' was a strain of herpes. HZ is 'Shingles' where the blisters form a kind of girdle around the sufferer's waist. So, now I know where the name came from.

10:21 am

Jacula i`m worried about you! If you`re not finding the G spot, you`re investigating STD`s !!!!!

10:21 am

Anyone want any more clues before I nip off again?

10:22 am

LOL Lotti.

10:22 am

Argh, a very late start today! And if I read the log correctly, there are some interesting words to find here ;)

10:22 am

Herpes Zoster isn't an STD, Lotti. You're thinking of Herpes Simplex.

10:23 am

Hi Sprite yes there are! :)

10:23 am

Hey Lola, nice to see you again ;> How are you doing...with today's quiz I mean :D

10:24 am

Ok Jacula, but try and keep tomorrows above the waist or i`ll have to invest in some tenna lady`s!!!!!

10:25 am

Jacula stats for the D's & L's would keep me going for some time!

10:25 am

hi everyone, can anyone tell me what the O is worth tyvm

10:25 am

It all depends what pops out of tomorrow's grid, Lotti. ;-)

10:26 am

Hi Sprite, how's you?

10:26 am

10:26 am

10:42 am

Punster d7 lots of gods

10:42 am

11:04 am

Madhatter - If you didn't get the clue about the duck visiting Evans' The Outsize Shop, try thinking of adding a thief to your opener instead.

11:05 am

I see this insanity thing is contagious when babbling

11:05 am

Sorry Jacula, finger slipped when typing your name

11:05 am

Like to keep things fresh :) Hi Lola, Karen - how 's tricks??

11:07 am

Good Anj :) You been having fun this weekend?

11:08 am

I have the st5/12's that turn into st6/21's

11:10 am

I think Punster must be looking for the 'st' that is a landing place or a type of arena.

11:10 am

i'm missing h5/20 i think any clues pleeeese

11:10 am

H*ll yes! Great fun :) More of the same next w/e too. The cloud to the silver lining is that i've been a sick puppy for the last 24 hours :/ My icon should be green and curled up... :'(

11:11 am

yummy with pita

11:11 am

Karenth - it's often used as a dip for pittas.

11:11 am

Arrggh! I don't know whats wrong with my hands! I keep fluffing it! Arrggh! What I meant was that I have the st5/12 that turns into a 6, and the 'past participle of sty'

11:11 am

I think so too jacula. Peter- sounds like didn't go :)

11:12 am

I'm off to crush some biscuits, toture some coffee beans and squish the life out of some lemons. TTFN.

11:12 am

It's catching! I mean *torture.

11:13 am

Sorry to hear that Anj :( Feeling better now?

11:13 am

Jac, that sounds suspiciously like cheescake *drooling uncontrollably*

11:13 am

doh.........and i love that stuff "looks silly"

11:13 am

*meant 'torture'. AAARGH!

11:14 am

Yup, Anj., it's coffee cheesecake, lemon meringue pie and a fruit cake.

11:14 am

Know the feeling, Jacula ;)

11:14 am

I'll leave the browser open so you can smell it all cooking.:-)

11:15 am

Still a bit edgy. I'm meant to be going over to Cardiff tonight but I just want to put my head down and sleep.

11:16 am

Want a hug Anj? (((((((((xxx)))))))))) :)

11:17 am

11:18 am

Thanx Lola xx Karen, £5.60, but it's free to escape again lol

11:18 am

good day all... quick half an hour before next meeting

11:19 am

punster- it's a plant. Sounds like ***** in Wonderland plus a word for "a few" . Hope that helps :)

11:20 am

has it gone up i thought it was 4 .80? my daughter is just down the road in ponty

11:20 am

Lola, you are a Goddess and I am sitting here worshiping you..lol

11:21 am

Hi cathy :)

11:21 am

Punster- you are most welcome :)

11:21 am

Hi Cathy Punster, that al7 uses the same letters as a plural word for a place for institutionalised folk. Also popularly requested by political refugees when entering another country illegally. If you get that word, start with al and mix the other letters up. Make sense? :)

11:21 am

Can anybody give me a clue for the st740?

11:22 am

So how many have you left now, oh wondrous one?

11:22 am

LOL! 11.... :)

11:23 am

what "L" am I missing: Have la 4/5 x2, la 4/4x2 and la 5/12 thanks!

11:23 am

those little white flowers thank you lola xx

11:24 am

Lola, your clue was much neater lol. I've spent my professional career trying to keep things simple and now i'm not. Must be a reaction to 7 years of creative oppression rofl

11:24 am

girlfriday, try the 10.29am post

11:24 am

La4/4 x3 total.

11:25 am

really struggling here with the st7. I too try to KISS (keep it simple stoopid)

11:25 am

there are 4 la4's

11:26 am

Why thank you Anj! I thought your reference to the mad house was good. I have spent the last three years teaching a small person to talk, so should know how to simplify things by now!

11:26 am

oops--make that FIVE

11:29 am

Okay, down to four..any clues would be appreciated... I need the c 6/24, the "o," and the al 6/30 ad al 7/44 (i found the al 7/48 is it related?) Thanks!

11:30 am

al7/44 is plural of yr al6/30

11:30 am

girl. take off the plural for the al 6. Any help with the st 40

11:31 am

That's my paradox tho' I've always had 'KISS' fighting against the fact that i'm usually talking to a roomful of intelligent human beings so I also try to give them the bigger picture. Occam's razor is in there somewhere as well :/ Still, free of that for now :D

11:31 am

can't help u with the o cos I still can't find it but the earlier clue for the al word was good, something about a cape or hood worn by clergy

11:32 am

But I dont have the al 6/30!!!

11:32 am

Fit1, the st40 - place for dead pigs ;) I LIKE that clue lol

11:32 am

I can't take it personally, since you don't even know me LOL

11:33 am

st 40....where a pig lives when he's not punctual

11:34 am

Well, with a massive amount of help from you wonderful people, and gods, and Goddess, I am finally done. I'm afraid I have to run now, got to have some work done today ;->

11:35 am

Wow girlfriday, great clue!

11:36 am

Cheers Punster! See you again soon :)

11:36 am

madhatter - think what a thief does and add the o at the beginning

11:37 am

Unless of course, Lola, you need a little help?

11:37 am

Madhatter, the o word is connected to bone structure or skeleton. It's O plus 'take illegally'

11:37 am

Awesome clue, FMitch. I've been looking for that since this morning!

11:38 am

Mitch you rock.....thanks, anyone with "al 6/30" clue for dummies...break it up, perhaps as the clergy reference don't help this Jewish girl!!!

11:38 am

ce 6/24????help

11:39 am

2:30 pm

I`m sure your good looks haven`t gone anywhere Anj!!

2:30 pm

What do you do Judi ? I have evil overlords too - called clients!

2:31 pm

2:32 pm

Denny it`s what a thief does

2:33 pm

how many letters and points?

2:33 pm

oooooooooooo i think i'm gonna take something...

2:34 pm

os6/18 - relating to bones

2:34 pm

o6/18 really means related to bone or skeleton

2:34 pm

How bizaare, how bizaare. Me first time too chef! Bit trickier than monopoly eh? I'll bet SisterOfLeen wouldn't have the patience...

2:39 pm

2:39 pm

2:39 pm

the w5 is american slang for pansy.

2:40 pm

Hello, everyone! Denny, a while ago someone said it's like the h5 and the mu5, but I can't find it.

2:40 pm

Denny - You might have to be a Yank to know that one...

2:41 pm

Dachef thats cos there isn`t one!!!!

2:41 pm

thanks anj and boreetos - *bangs head on table again!* - i'll still help you baggo cos i need two more words!

2:41 pm

Dachef, it means "swear"

2:41 pm

2:43 pm

Dachef, I think there's only one cu

2:43 pm

it means regularly, but just add a suffix to one of your 6's...

2:43 pm

It`s cu4/6 not cu4/7

2:43 pm

HI cathy - it comes from the base word used multiple times the st5/10 - keep adding common endings and you will find it

2:44 pm

2:46 pm

Hi, it's me again...ne1 out there have any cluez for the last w? I already have the two wimpy words... Danke schon...

2:46 pm

my baggo you look amazing - is that cobalt blue?!

2:47 pm

denny, s5 might be an abbreviation of a class you took in college, or a different page shows stuff in babble.

2:47 pm

movieman, add a letter and urinate....

2:47 pm

movieman you might make this noise going down a slide or ride - or add a h when you go to the loo

2:51 pm

dachef, yes there is. think about godS

2:51 pm

it is de 7/32

2:51 pm

no i'm not. just funny. but back to work... i really am terrible at this game though

2:51 pm

I can never get this one (it's been here before!)... the ce5/14 woman's girdle of ancient greece. All I can find is "chiton" and seeing as how that is not "ce..." :)

2:52 pm

how did i miss that - thank you all that is me done for the night - baggo - some of us ladies (and men) have been know to wear the occasional item of headware but only when the occasion requires it!

2:52 pm

a-ha, cheers fordo!!!

2:53 pm

back to work with me! later pepps.

2:53 pm

i guess i just never knew they came in so many colors..

2:54 pm

jen - there's 2 words, same first 4 but last letter is different - rhyme with the name for a man's item of underwear that he would wear under a shirt

2:55 pm

look forward to seeing a myriad of colours baggo! night night all - spooks about to start...

2:55 pm

Jen - currency of Ghana, plus plural....

2:55 pm

Thanks! I really goota keep that one in my little pea brain for the next time! lol

2:56 pm

3:07 pm

R U THERE DUNNY?

3:07 pm

Anj, you still there?

3:09 pm

3:11 pm

Did you have something to eat? Was a bit worried you'd collapsed in a heap somewhere!

3:14 pm

Yes, whipped up some pasta. Feel better now than I have for the last 36 hours :) Like your new outfit ;)

3:16 pm

Lol! Yes, I was anointed a goddess in your absence :)

3:17 pm

..I miss all the fun :'(

3:20 pm

st8 - please help, been trying for hours

3:20 pm

See you managed to finish yesterday's beast- well done!

3:21 pm

st8 - think of st6 - add a small hill....

3:22 pm

Hey, so did you - hugs all round :) I thought I was going to struggle in the wee small hours, but the last 40 or so words just flowed

3:23 pm

SonofLeen - you still playing or have you fallen asleep under your wee blanky?

3:24 pm

I spent the last half hour looking for one word. Was not a happy bunny!

3:25 pm

....eyes melting....blisters on my fingers.....slight complex of inferiority...

3:25 pm

Lola, that was me with the de 7/32. I was driving myself insane ....

3:25 pm

ty for the help Dachef but also missing that one

3:26 pm

lol...that's what I usually expect with the big beasties. My last word was poison which probably means I found all the awkward stuff early on.

3:26 pm

yup, st7 is a real stickler - been looking for it for about an hour now......

3:27 pm

blanking on "a small hill" ? I must be stoopid or something.

3:29 pm

It always seems to be the simple ones that I miss. Makes me feel a bit stupid sometimes, especially when I ask for help with them!

3:29 pm

st7 think trend setters

3:29 pm

sorry, pretty obscure clue. small hill is a lee.

3:32 pm

Lola, that's half the fun tho'. What you don't get to hear is the collective sigh of relief from the 800 others who just realised they'd missed the same word as well lol

3:32 pm

hi dachef and sonofleen - I knew I shouldn't have introduced you to this game - get some work done......

3:32 pm

a-ha, got the st7 !!!!!!!! ty ren8 !!!!!!

3:32 pm

Hi dad !

3:33 pm

aaaaah, Leen's here. Consider myself sorely chastised.

3:37 pm

Very true Anj! But I think it's more like 800 collective do-oh's!

3:38 pm

come on dachef - more of a clue please for the st!! I know you're sitting there all smug...

3:39 pm

which st, for there are many......

3:40 pm

Dad, 'the pen was not early'!

3:40 pm

the st/7 or st/8

3:41 pm

Any hints for the sl 6/21

3:42 pm

Jo, past tense of your 1st sl5/10 :)

3:42 pm

st 6/21 after you have said something you have St....your opinion.

3:43 pm

past tense of sl5/10

3:43 pm

3:44 pm

can you break that clue for sl7 and sl8 alittle more

3:45 pm

Lo, the chat makes it all worthwhile tho' :) We're all in this together

3:45 pm

Grrr ... I swore I tried that! :-( LOLA, I feel your pain!

3:47 pm

the dictionary definition of sty is actually 'regularly'. If anyone gets it from that Il give them a pound.

3:47 pm

sorry, typo, meant st7. oops.

3:47 pm

I am back to finish the last 20 words.... does anyone know when the D second letter list was posted ??

3:48 pm

Jo- hang in there! lol!

3:48 pm

da4/5 da4/5 da4/5 da5/12 de4/5 de5/12 de5/12 de5/12 de4/5 de7/32 di4/5 di4/7 di5/16 di6/27 di7/40 di6/21

3:48 pm

Oh, Dachef - I got it. Thanks!

3:49 pm

Anj- I've said it before, don't think I'd still be playing every day if it wasn't for the chat :) Certainly wouldn't be here now as I've already got all my words!

3:50 pm

e_gurl85 da 4/5 - An Indian Food da 4/5 - You might eat da 4/5 on a ___

Oh no, keep the pound :)

3:51 pm

Hi SWMBO!

3:51 pm

ok i got the second da4/5 just not the others

3:51 pm

e_gurl85, the s7 & s8 are both st starts. st7/40 is a fashion thing. Or a place where a pig lives who is never 'early' st8/60 builds on an st5/10 and st6/21 and describes something which happens regularly

3:52 pm

Jo thanks for the D list..... baggo are you still on chat.... How is the baby that came in last night ??

3:52 pm

Hi CadFan! How's your son?

My son is doing very well, thank you. I too have 2 da 4/5's can't find another

3:53 pm

Me too Lola. Just playing at 'brain cell for hire' now in the hope that mine might get the general idea and build some friends rofl.

3:53 pm

Now about the chat.... it does make for a great time.... however right now I hardly have time to get a toffifee in my mouth.... LOL

3:54 pm

this da4/5 thing is a stickler - are there really four????

3:54 pm

lol blaze... wish i had one to put in mine... all i have is peppermint patties and i'm not in the mood for them!

3:55 pm

Oh, missed a da 4/5- the other is ??, an acronym I guess? I monkey typed it! :-)

3:55 pm

cathy- repeat after me: we are not going to talk about chocolate tonight!

3:56 pm

lola I hear you and will partake silently

3:56 pm

...anyone for a chunk of Galaxy and a latte then? *whistles, looks totally innocent...*

3:58 pm

Cathy, penguins are british?? I have a mental picture of 10000 seagulls sitting on an iceberg wearing hats & scarves now LMAO :')

4:00 pm

20 words left ...... aaaaaarrrrrghghhhhhhh!!!

4:00 pm

da chef - you should get the da words! what's on the end of your feet!!!

4:00 pm

4:02 pm

penguins are not british they are arctic..... or do you mean the ch ?????? bars.

4:02 pm

Blaze- nice, but I saw that!

4:02 pm

according to the earlier logs there are 109 words in this puzzle...

4:02 pm

90% Brirish sense of humour, Lola I'm my normal, dependable, rock solid, loveable self the other 10% of the time :)

4:03 pm

Dachef- there are only 104 :)

4:04 pm

Yes Anj, that's what I love about you Brirish..lol!

4:04 pm

aaah. I knew that guy was having me on earlier. O well, nearly there then!!

4:08 pm

Dachef, we all have. Keeps us upright & the right shape ;)

4:13 pm

sorry i m all confused

4:13 pm

ta, got it! never would have got that without the clues! Cheers!

4:14 pm

4:15 pm

THanks loads, Jera. I have two da4 and one da5 to go and will randomly type until they show up!

7:24 pm

Jo go back to the original hint that was posted and type into google those exact words and it comes up. It has to do with church processionals and fur capes.

de7 = lots of gods

7:25 pm

Buzzybee...let's TALK di7

7:25 pm

Sorry cbr1965 - see you have the info now. I was only giving you half of it. Anyway goodnight all - the snoring from the master bedroom seems to have quieted to a gentle roar so this may be a good time to retire .

7:25 pm

DE7 ~ think multiple gods

7:25 pm

Good night snowy... sweet dreams

7:25 pm

PAV3 - what are the point counts for your st5 and I will tell you what you are missing - with a clue

7:26 pm

di7 = talk amongst yourselves

7:26 pm

Thanks very much snowyowl for your help. Have a good night!

7:27 pm

jo...me too al.....hell.....don't use referencing so I'm lost too

7:27 pm

7:30 pm

Well, I'm getting dizzy & everyone seems to be helping each other, so I'm hitting the sack too. See you guys tomorrow!

7:30 pm

Grr.... I tried to "show all messages" and my browser locked up. I had to restart my computer! :-(

7:31 pm

tbear and jo - want the third letter for the al6 and al7 hood/cape so you can use a2zwordfinder?

7:36 pm

7:36 pm

Yea, Got it! :-)

7:37 pm

tbear, the end sounds like that wonderful whipped choclate confection, but is not spelt at all the save way.....

7:38 pm

cbr...sta5 10 x2 and ste5 12 and sti5 12

7:38 pm

Sorry but even with the clue i cant find de7. can you give the point value for it.

7:38 pm

Dianne, the sl5/16 is base on the sl4. just like the other two, but different end sometimes-vowel.

7:38 pm

de7/32, gods in general, plural.

7:39 pm

Brandyjack I love you....x Only 6 to go now

7:39 pm

Dianne: subst another ltr for your second sl5 10

7:41 pm

pav3 - the ste5 and sta5 both have the same last letter - just switch the vowels pluralize both for the 6's if you won't do it one one way you will do it another in____

7:42 pm

brandyjack, thanks so much for your second letter lists. You are MUCH appreciated!

7:42 pm

sta5/12 same letters as the ste5/12 just switch the last two letters

7:42 pm

Here Here

7:43 pm

sti5 - past tense of where a pig lives (if it were a verb instead of a noun!)

7:44 pm

cbr...I think I'm missing the other sta5 10, 'cuz I have the sta5 12,, my bad...

7:44 pm

Brandyjack and Pav - I am trying and trying but getting no where. Any other clue for this clueless person?

7:44 pm

Thanx for the help but i give up. i gotta get some sleep. night night

7:45 pm

Dianne - when you have many people on a ballot - they are called the sl___ of candidates

7:45 pm

well, I have the ste5/12 and I canna make the sta5/12 out of it... little dense tonight. Unless there are two ste5/12's of which the othe is the other word i'm missing. Catch-22.

7:46 pm

brandyjack - switch the last two letters of the non-plural

7:47 pm

Brandyjack..it's an anagram of ste5/12

7:47 pm

brandyjack - sta5/12 - think "remianed" and play with that thought.

7:48 pm

thanks cbr and BrandyJack..didn't realize I didn't have the ste5 sing of ste6...what an idiota I am....now I'm done...

7:49 pm

Diane, thanks. THe flip of the last two letters clue had me thinking I had to keep them. BUt there's only one a in the puzzle....

7:49 pm

anyone have a clue for the ce6? cheers

7:50 pm

cathy...earlier clue think IT'S YOU in french

7:51 pm

Dianne, nursery school rhyme. The vowels are a, e, i, o, u and sometimes -??

7:51 pm

cathy - I don't have a ce6 and I have 104 words. Check your list again.

7:52 pm

I have a ce6 -

7:52 pm

brandyjack - I got it - I just needed to look in the other direction. Thanks for all the help.

7:52 pm

i was going to say... there is one on brandyjack's list

7:52 pm

Yep, there's a Ce6/24 alright. Looks like a French version of a Greek belt...

7:52 pm

Dianne, I do have a ce6/24. Do a refresh on your list. Use the F5 key.

7:54 pm

Dianne: if you have the rsoter of candidates, and the pieces of the window blinds, then you're missing the other sl5 like la4 4 's ending with the sometimes vowel/sometimes consonant

7:54 pm

reached 100....giving up..only have 4 hours sleep...thanks for the help...good luck

7:56 pm

Dianne, if you've been having connection problems, then you may have had a hiccup i see occasionally, where it doesn't take the word properly. Can be identified by looking for a word with no score. Usually will show twice, once with score, once without. Refresh will straighten it out.

7:56 pm

I have that also - I didn't see the point value in Cathy's post - thought she was talking about a 4 letter word. Cathy for the last part of the ce6 think the sound of a "plaything".

7:56 pm

Pav - thanks for the help. I finally got the word :)

7:59 pm

arrgghhh! 2 words left! al7 and de7 -- all clues/advice much appreciated!

8:00 pm

AL7/48 looks like the singular of a female name.

8:01 pm

thanks for the ce clues... having a good ole think

8:01 pm

sproing - when you are feeling down look to the Gods for your de7. ------

8:01 pm

al7 is tender annual that looks good as borders in flowerbeds and mixed in rock gardens. Google if you must

8:01 pm

hmm.... thinking :)

8:03 pm

sproing -- although not really a definition for the a7, I'd say think about a strnage spelling of an "institution for the insane" -- what we're probably all about ready for this time of night :)

8:05 pm

I don't believe it! I thought I'd tried the de7!!! thanks!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! finished :)

8:07 pm
