no I think it's shock .... I've been off work for the last 3 months recovering from a badly broken ankle, so my poor laptop has lost touch with pre-lunchtime use.
The thing has to be re-educated then. How is your ankle now?
I like to think ..... or kid myself .... that Babble has kept me sane over the last few weeks ..... there is only sooooo much day time tv you can watch !
Ankle is on the mend, after surgery, but its such a slow process & really frustrating.
Lol, I am sure that is true. Babble keeps your mind active, while most tv certainly makes it semi dead.
If you haven't been able to walk for 3 months, you will probably have to train for walking quite a lot now. Hope all goes well and you're back on your feet soon!

Well, it's been a funny old grid. I'm sure that NITPEA should be a word! It's in the grid, as also are lots of 3-letter words like RUN,FOG,TIN & PEA. I've seen many 'Not There But I Still Keep Seeing Them' words today. The moment I saw the clue about the 'ro'skin rash, I was looking for 'rosacea', but it wasn't there. I 'saw' DRAGONS & DALEKS, FRODO & ARAGORN, a STORK & some KANGAROOS. There was RADON & ARGON, a PRUNE and some BIROS, a TIPPER, a FROCK & a GIRL. I 'saw' a NIFTY GOFER LADEN with GOODS and a GOLDEN FOLIAR FIR. BrandyJack uses a friend's program that sorts the grid stats out. The 'hell' guy (?) has written a program that does similar. However, he doesn't use the 'Enable' dictionary, but a far better one, so stats aren't always correct. So far.
Mab - just about the only way to indicate a joke is by putting 'LOL' (Laughing out Loud) or a :) or one with a nose :-) like I do. But they are becoming cliched now, so who knows what the future may bring?
ferrari - I think I have the GR5 you were talking about. I have 5/18, 5/16 and 5/12. But I can't find the last one. Also - how many words in the grid? I lot my notes - UGH!

Fellow Babblers- I just fixed it so that the auto-update feature is disabled when you page back in the chat log. As soon as you return to the most current page of the chat log, auto-update will be re-enabled. I also switched the "Next" and "Prev" links. It just didn't make sense to have a "Next" button that went *backwards* in time. Refresh your browser to enable the new changes.
