Good night and thanks!
hello to all..... back again
morning Blaze
hello!
what is the name of the website that you can go to if you are having problems with a word? not the babblers anonymous, the one with the list of dictionary word?
http://www.a2zwordfinder.com/w ordlookup.html
thank you!
Your welcome... just remember that Babble uses the enable dicitonary and some words are not listed in A2Z.... keep a good eye on the clues....
I only use the a2z when I am really stumped and the clues are not helping! I am at work until 7 am & I do not know how many people will be online while I am at work tonight, so I thought that I would get that website just in case I need it.
Joy... I always end up needing it.... some times just to jar the memory..... good luck.
Hi Blaze - nice to see you here.
Hello dianne how are things with you today.??
Chipping away - as usual :)
thank you, you too. I have only finished one of these. I am pretty new to this game, and I am trying to learn as I go. The message board is like reading greek when you first start. I am just now getting the hang of what people are saying.
I think I am a little denser than usual tonite this grid seems very tight.... the words are not flowing much at all....LOL
I have been working the puzzle for an hour and only have 37 words. that is a long way from 181!!!
Joy that is great..... that is the first step to being a Babbler..... that and great chocolate....LOL keep doing and you will soon be just as addicted as we all are....LOL
Joy the puzzle is up for 24 hours... and remember it is about fun......
Morning! Hi Blaze, Dianne have you upgraded since last I saw you?
I am already addicted, but the only time I get to babble is at work, at home the three kids will not let me sit down long enough to think straight.
Joy spoken like a true mother.... Hello Fmitch..... we just need to get Dianne a great icon now....
FMitch - I decided to blow the big bucks and get myself a beanie! Love looking at me personal stats and got great satisfaction today when the Y grid went grey!
Hi Blaze - were you growing webs between your toes today?
No.... I stayed in like a good little duck should.....LOL
It is very satisfuying isn't it, today though have got 80 words and only greyed out 2 letters still a long way to go but babblefun!!!
Wish I could say that - had to go to the dentist this am and it was pouring by the time I was through -- this is supposed to be the sunny Okanagan!
Cyber... I can relate...good thing we are not made of sugar.... we won't melt (asmy mom used to say)....I am out most of tomorrow and will dress for the weather....
how many ca words are there?
Joy the second letter stats were posted about an hour ago.... scroll back and you will see all the info you will need for the grid
I got that list. I just wanted to make sure that it was right. I am having trouble with a 4/5 & 4/6 words.
Joy sorry I am leaving my c words until last.... I can not help.... maybe go away from it then come back... that sometimes words for me... there are 12 ca words
thanks!
any clues for the di 7 Please
It's to do with fish Blaze....lol
Well of course..... I will keep on fishing.....LOL
di..... It's a group of fish enabled to breathe air
Found it yet?
No been on to googe and everything... still
First 3 rhyme with hip..... then a negative...then short version of a reply
whew thanks deb
Got... thank you Debs.... a real haul that one....
;-)
... and don't forget the d8/50 whilst you are there.
Quite right FM thanks...
talk to all later, I need to go back to work!
Bye Joy
ciao!!!!!
130 words to go... but must get some sleep... see you tomorrow....
Bye from me too, time for me to think of work
Cya all thats going... Take care :)
cybernan, are you from okanogan?
From the Okanagan (Canada) - the Okanogan is in Washington
Nite all - sweet dreams - 54 words to go, but the eyelids are drooping!
ac 4/5 - citric ac** ac 4/5 - skin problem prevalent during puberty
ths Deps - great clue
TAC - good luck with this one. I WILL catch up with you one day:-)
Thanks JLW x havent got much time today. out with mum
How many words today please? x
181
Thankyou pinecone05 x
half way...off for tea and toast..
Am I all alone in Babbleland?
No, Dianne, I'm here.
Hi Dianne Im here but don't tell anyone :)
Hi Haz - I was getting lonely. How are you doing?
me too but not for long
I'm working on the i words - does anyone have a clue for the in6/24?
It's one of those ones that you will kick yourself on - use the in on the 2nd line and your d4/6
FMitch - send the fish over - I need a whack on the head for missing that one. Thanks.
Its OK, I've just gone through the same process with that and the other in6
I could see missing the 1st in6 - it's a word I've never used. But the 2nd one? IN----!!! What about the na4/4? I have the one that means a Temple but looks more like a Hawiian word. Do you have them both?
I havent really worked the n's yet but I do have the n4 that starts in the bottom corner and goes sort of diagonal from there.
FMitch - I think we have the same one (n and vowels).
mine could be wat you would call your mother's mother
FMitch - thanks - I got it. Now for the one I have start with na and then go straight up.
Just found it thanks Dianne and I have to go again, see you soon!
Haz - still there? How you doing?
hi dianne!
24 to go...
Wow Jen! Practically the same for me.... except it's more like 78! LOL
Queen, I was beginning to feel alone, worse yet, ignored. What time is it where you are babbling?
Hi Jen - way to go ! Did you get the pi 6/27 yet. I can't find no matter how much I monkey type.
Be right back, actually have to do my job for a few...
no...still looking for pi 6/27...
Take a hamper and a few sandwiches outdoors for a pi....
movieman has returned...hi everybody!!!! Now I have got the pleasantries out of the way, could ne of u seriously kind fellow Babblers plz assist me re: the 7's and the 8...these long words always do my head in... Gracias...
jooboz - just got it right when you posted - thanks.
Hi Jen. Not meaning to ignore you. I was playing a game in MSN at the same time! It's 3:00am here. I'm in CA.
good morning all!
Movieman, I only have one 7 so far. You probably have it. Ni7/32. Plural of your Ni6/21. If you don't have it, think vitamins.
Movieman - in7/36 - think "in" plus gardening, land-----.
hey all
Morning Cathy!
Hey cathy...how seems the world to you today?
HI Cathy!
it seems a little bit chilly and full of yellow squares with letters and numbers on them...! hey poo... how isyour end of pa today?
hi haz
Jooboz, I need to pack FISH in the basket as well! Tx. Btw...how did my cat Chandler get in your icon box? I tell you he loves men.
hey poo's mom, someone else has your icon, saw it yesterday... wierd huh?
a bit chilly right now but supposed to warm up nicely ~ can't complain
jenwoud - doh! Award yourself a good slap!!
jooboz, meant movie man on that last part... Movie man has my cat, Chandler in his icon box... please, could I have more fish? and more self abuse?
jen, i didn't see another...hmmmm.... must have stole it from the same place i did LOL
Good morning all... how goes the good fight?
jenwould - I picked that icon 'cos it looked quite like my own cat Arnie (named after a certain Californian governor 'cos not only does he share a birthday with Mr Schwarzenegger, but when it comes to rodents and birds, he's a bit of a Terminator!!!) lol...
Movieman, there's a ca 7/36 which builds off ca5/12 relating to church
poo's mom~ check out yesterday's 7:12am post...it's DOLL414...
Thanks, Haz.. you just helped me with three words!
Yes, it's nice when that happens!
Movie man, huh! unusual coincidence...my maiden name is the terminator's First.... hmmmmm
One more word to tip me over half-way...
Movieman... read your profile (I do that when I get stuck, well, not just yours... you know what I mean, LOL)... anyway... I love IMDB, too!
Another thing about my cat though, when he's in the house, he really shows his true colours 'cos he's scared stiff of the vacuum cleaner...he runs a mile whenever it's being operated when he's in the room...lol
Haz1558- I just don't get it. I have the ca5/12 (churchman) but I just can't seem to make it into ca7!!
Jera - re: the IMDB...have u made use of the personal database facilities on there at all...?
Ishult - I see you have a problem...
Movieman, I have 4...should probably boast about them on my bio...anyWHo..the biggest...24 lbs. is chicken. If he saw a mouse, he'd put his big paw around it and lead it to the food and water!
scrap that , I just got it. Problem was that I was starting from the wrong c.
GLad you got there in the end!
I like IMDB for ... was that who I thought that was? Or ... I know I've seen her before, when was that? Also good for new release information. Netflix is bad about advertising new releases (I'm an avid Netflixer... don't buy many movies)...
I used to have a cat who was afraid of brooms... rather sad when you think about how he must have got that way. He was a found kitty... pure black... had a rough life before he met me (then he was spoiled beyond all reason)...
Jera - I have so many DVDs in my collection that I simply HAVE to use the 'MY Movies' section...
Morning everyone!! Reading the cat thread... ours is cool about everything (or maybe she's just too fat to move quick), but our dog is afraid of even golf clubs!!
no 7/36 need a clue por favor!
Most movies I watch, then let go... very few actually bought. I'm on a Paul Bettany kick now... loved him so much in A Knight's Tale, researched & am watching all his older stuff... the man's a genius... ugly as homemade sin but incredible presence...
Morning, Jen, when are we getting together for coffee? My insanity has died down a bit...
movieman, just purchased the collector's edition of Office space, cool extras (mousepad/pen etc) great flick for those of us in the cubicle world!
Jen - i suppose he'd be useless as a guard dog then...if any burglers got into your house he'd probably lead them to the valuables...lol
Whenever you feel like it. Hubby is out of town next Mon and Tue on business, so I am free as the wind those days (except trying to keep up with Ethan of course)
Jera and Jen, better save room for me at one of those coffees, I don't plan on Illinois forever. NoVa is home for me, just taking a while to get back there...hey, either of you know much about Ashburn? REsearching as a Relocation possibility..
movieman, the worst he'd do is lick someone to death!
Fairfax County schools are out Monday & Tuesday, so I'd have both kids... where are you again? I'll look for something in the middle...
I'm in Lorton, Jenwould, but mapquest is my friend... i could research for ya?
jenwould, we actually live really close to Ashburn. We're in an apartment right now but looking to buy soon, maybe there. Good schools (I know, I taught for Loudoun County!!)
Brother in Bristow, mother and Sis in Spotsy.. Ideally closer to Bro than the women (they are high strung) anyway, reading that Loudoun is growing huge and metro is working to complete a route there in a couple of years. So yeah, research would be great. TX!
Jen what about Loudoun hospital ??(part of Inova I believe) looked at website, smaller than hospital I'm at now,but benetits are great. paid holidays not included in regular paid time off (onheard of in hospital world).
no7/36 builds on the ac4/6
Hey NoVa girls, don't want to cram the log so I'll put my e-mail on my bio...would love any info you guys could forward me.. tx so so much.
Gosh, I don't know about the hospitals much. We just got out of the military, so haven't really needed medical. But all the Inova stuff I see seems to be pretty nice. Jera, I don't mind the kids if you don't. I'll have Ethan.
Thanks, FMItch.. oh yeah... the puzzle... I remember, LOL!
Fmitch, you read my mind... thanks for the clue!
Jen, you are Herndon, if I remember correctly?
LOL, didn't want to brerak the thread so just quietly left the note for you all to find when ready.
Jera, yes.
Okay, I gotta go wake the family & make them do their thing... be back in about an hour... keep the grid warm for me...
Bye! Talk to ya later!
One mor thing... Jen, basically we'd hop on the Fairfax County Parkway to see each other, guess we could pick a Starbucks somewhere in the middle... my daughter has been itching to go to one ever since we moved here a year agos (we have one right across the street!)... later!
Works for me! Ethan loves getting juice from there. Gimme a ring sometime.
Could anyone out there give me clues for the first Ge 5/14 and the last Ge 5/14? Thanks a million!
the bird one??
Desperately (and I mean desperately) need assistance with my last o...I have the op4 and the oc6... Gracias...
Movieman it builds off your first Pa.
Poo's Mom - Are you saying one of the Ge's is a bird? I have the Ge in the bottle but I desparately need the other two Ge's.
damation - birds plural and an italian port
and i'll learn to spell one of these days...
Poo's Mom - Thank you so very much. I cannot believe the bird. I can stay at letters for hours on end and then when I finally see them I think how stupid! Shifting up and down for the letters is hard on the brain.
I know what you mean Dalmation! Poo often walks in, takes one look at the grid and says hey, why didn't you get (fill in the blank)??
Thank goodness for helpful friends. Thanks again.
Poos mom~ how far along are ya?
100 more to go... & have to get ready for work soon :(
any I can help with... I'm down to 14, mostly p words...
oh i'll be back later! Try getting on at lunch time but it seems there's always a traffic jam. Or it's our rotten network at the office
Hello everyone! Don't know how much time I will have today to play:(
bye Poo's Mom...have a great day at work!
Toodles! Um, yeah, work, fun ... they go together.... Good luck everyone!
Hi Mickie, another Virginian... you guys are making me desperately homesick...
jenwould, I live in Smithfield where the hams are from! My oldest lives in Alexandria so she's not too far from me.
what else is smithfield near... is it in NoVa... what county?
Ne possible hintz and/ or definitions 4 that pesky 8...it's just killing me not being able to find it... Gracias...
pluralise one of your 7s to get the 8
One thing has always puzzled me about Babble...how come, whenever u change your icon, everyone else sees the new icon before u do...?
movie man...did you refresh...if not logout then log back in...
movieman....di8...add a p,a negative and french for years
Smithfield is by Hampton, Newport News area, just over the James River in Isle of Wight county. Much more rural than Northern Va!
Or press f5
that's right...brain fart! I used to go to ODU back in the day and new some guys that became cops in Smithfield.. my MIL (mother in law) just bought property in Smithfield
It's a small babble world!!!
tbear, f5? genius! tx!
mornin all!
Oh please someone help me on the di7/8... I am just not seeing anything. Definitions would be lovely. :)
jen...don't know the def but put a clue at 6.39
evanadine....is that a female chicken?
di 7/8 air breathing fish...
Sorry Jen the di8 is the plural of di7
hehe, its a turkey...getting ready for thanksgiving over here. ;)
Not sure how mny people will be eating turkey here at xmas...after the bird flu scare thing....presumably yr turkeys are raised over there...fun icon
Jen you go for a di. in the sea, a negative word ..and then .. which sounds cockney hands
i love me some turkey... course, my BF and i are doing thanksgiving on our own this year + i dont think either of us has ever cooked a turkey before... might be like that scene in A Christmas Story where we hit the chinese restaurant after trying to cook dinner...hehe
kicks self in rear... I was not seeing that other p!!!! Thanks everyone!
Hi everybody. Great clues for the Di 7 and 8. Ty
hi mu...yw
looking for help with the in7/36..please and thanks in advance.
tbear did you have a look at the picie pit site? I did last night but didn't try a game
tbear I meant pixiepit
didn't like the idea of playing a game bye-mail and wasn't sure if there was another way...will continue to play against my pc.....sad lonely scrabble player that i am...
I chickened out too tbear. off for lunch now, back after neighbours (now what's sadder than that)?

Anyone got a clue for en6/21 please?
en6...all in top two rows
Many thanks, Ouwachita. I'd been staring at it for ages on this soggy day in London town!
beautiful day here in Pennsylvania
Lucky you! It was Diwali, the Indian festival, here yesterday. Loads of fireworks in pouring rain. Not fair!
the last 2 days here have been *GORGEOUS* todays supposed to be a bit cooler, but still sounds lovely!
evandine...where are you in usa?

clue for in7/36 anyone? It's my last i word and I just can't get it.
hydra - the opposite of your es 6/24...
add your sc5/14
Ouch, guess no one missed me...
50 words to go. Only 30 minutes before sojourn to pick up the grand-daughters
Jen would Fair Oaks Mall work for you??
Jera.....of course they did...
Sorry, in my own little world! Yeah, Fair Oaks works for me. Mon or Tue better for you?
Thanks very much, all. 70 words still to find and must go back to work now! See y'all later.
Have 6 x 7s to get (got the ni) and the 1 x 8. Hints please ...................
could use a hint for the C7 or either N7 :)
Voting for the first time in this area, so Monday would be better, say 1pm at the Starbucks?
Thanks, tbear, though I heard crickets... ;>
EvaN... the c7 add 2 letters to one of your ca5/12s... has to do with biblical law
Thanks for reminding me! I gotta figure out where I vote as well. 1 at Fair Oaks Mall Starbucks on Monday works!
I sometimes feel like that on here....H>>E>>L>>L>>O anybody T>>H>>E>>R>>E......
jen, the only Ca 5/12 i have is a plural that rhymes with what old people use to help them walk -- its that the right one?
Eva... no, think of a really big gun and take out one of the N's in the middle.
evanadine what puzzle you playing honey...?
tbear-I'm here...puttzing along!
Not that I expect cartwheels when I enter the room... I like to announce I'm here, though, sounds weird when you suddenly jump into a conversation otherwise...
Yea, my daughter is excited about meeting another on-line friend... we recently met a lady from a discussion board that I've "known" for years... she was going home from England to Australia, so quite exotic to us... that was fun.
AHHHH Evanadine...I didn't read 'rhymes with' and wondered how you'd made old persons assistance thingy
thanks jen!
heh, you had me confused for a sec there tbear!
Rhymes with walking aid (hey, I'm not old!!) = Abel's brother??
Anytime Eva... I try to help when I can, but I'm usually the one asking for it! Jera, can't wait to meet you in person!!
yes, its abels brother...hence the biblical tie-in possibility...hehe
anyone have hints for the 2 N7s? if i get those, at least i have all the biggies. :)
alleyn....at last....have u got no7/36....the kind of thing that won't give u heartburn
I'll be the lady with the ca4/5... hey, guess I can say it since it isn't in this puzzle...
One of the N7s is plural of an N6, which is a vitamin.
di7/36.....unpluralise yr di8
thanks Kukana -- i thought that might be in there, but i just wasnt connecting the letters
Kukana....ty....didn't have that one
Hi everyone, Lunch over back to the game
Jera....what???
Mu did you try Kallias site for scrabble....got registered then couldn't work out how to play...but will have another go...if you get registered,we could play
How come "noid" isn't a word??? What about avoiding the noid from the old pizza commercials?!?!
Didn't know about that one tbear can you give me the info and I'll have a look see
thanks, kukana!
http://www.isc.ro/
tbear I'll have alook at it tonight and talk to you about it tomorrow ok?
Hoki doki
work beckons...I must bid adieu for now!
Greetings All!! I need help with 2 E words. ED 6/24 EO 6/18 Thanks.
ed6/24 like paradise
Jen, you made me LOL... I remember that thing...
Thank Une. Got the ED6.
Also in Star Trek TNG... Guinan, played by Whoopi Goldberg was a Noid (type of alien)
tbear... what what? Did I miss something??
Was she? I never actually knew what species she was... and I watch the repeats on Spike!
eo6 lasting a very long time
Minski... both are "ic" words...
I love all the Star Treks... good stuff... I'm such a nerd, LOL!
Don't even get me started on the wacky TV I watch!
Minski, disregard my eo6 clue... sorry...
Jera you threw me off a bit but between your hint and Une's it was enough to point me in the right direction and I figured it out.
I remember becasue she was trying to explain humor to Data... making a joke/pun with their types... "You're a Droid and I'm a Noid" play on annoyed... Dadta finally got it... I think, LOL!
Baby's up from her nap so I've gotta go. See y'all later on. TTFN.
Sorry Minski... I don't have it!
Bye, MInski!
*feels very bad giving wrong clue* Almost as bad as posting actual word...
Okay, 57 to go so I think this is a good time for a break. Off to the gym for me! TTFN everyone!
Bye Jen, have fun!
I have 86 to go, maybe I can catch up while you're gone...
Jera nothing can be as bad as posting a SET of words believe Me. I've been there and still cringe at the thought of It. I am now afraid to try helping in case (and in all probability) I boob again
whew, babble just did a hiccup thing and i thought i lost all my words.
I did that once... was so excited to find a weird word & a good google-able definition... posted the actual word with it... oh the shame!!! Fortunately it was late in the game... probably appreciated, actually, LOL!
Morning, all. for what it's worth, Mu, I don't remember you making such a boo boo. We've all done it. it's a littlie, not a biggie :-)
Jera; dont know if you saw it but I posted all the H's Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh wah, my printer is being recalcitrant... I think there's some Halloween candy stuck in it, LOL... can't print my word worksheet!!
Never saw it, don't remember it, don't even believe it. lol
DeutschLittlie? I think it was about 9 words. Did get some ty's though lol
laundry day, back in a few
Nope, I missed that, mu... I do remember someone being a jerk & posting all the words they found... very annoying...
lol, mu.
I do remember that, Jera. That was back when MSN posted this site. We got a lot of jerks at the time. Thank goodness we're back to just us, now!
Hi all...I'm back from Florida. I left Vt. we had a snow storm and lost our power, flew down to Florida and had no power..go figure?. Really good to be home though. Looks like a nice puzzle today.
I don't mind a growing community, & the gods know we need our moments of frivolity, but there's a certain amount of respect that's just common courtesy, ya know?
wb, gramma, sounds like you couldn't win for losing there for a while!
*curses change in seasons for kicking up her allergies* hello again everyone, im back! :)
I agree, Jera. Welcome back, gramma. Home is good no matter what.
Hurricane..shmiracane...not too bad other than no traffic lites. That was rather sketchy at best. Lots and lots of car accidents.
Has anyone heard from Munner?
Hi evanadine anyone with clues to the 7s? I have but one :(
ask away deutsch -- i have em all thanks to peoples clues earlier. :)
good morning all.....
Thanks, evanadine. I need clues for all but the n7, plural of n6
TBear..just got back from my neighbour.. You have to download Wordbiz...the link is on the first page of the site...When I play I go direct to a scrabble game...well one with no partner, then you look for a partner...its very easy to use..and you are a computer genius so it will be no problem :)
morning mama bear
Hi Mama!
*curses daylight savings time for messing up internal clock* I always get sick this time of year, too... hate that I get jerked around for my favorite holiday...
Hello all =o)
add 2 letters to the end of your second Ca 5/12 for the Ca 7/36
Someone should design a Babblers T-shirt... (non sequiter)
someone's already at it! http://tinyurl.com/9uaxx
ooohhh, good one: http://tinyurl.com/7zq bj
and . . . http://tinyurl.com/dld4u
please any clues for first ge5/14? just cannot see it...even with my new specs !
*busily hunting for second ca 5 12*
birds that honk. :)
deutsch -- think large war-time guns
Evanadine...thanks..how could I have missed that! Hang my head in shame :)
then I have it. *runs make to monkey type an ending not tried*
You know, as much as I love Halloween, I have eatten so much candy I am surprised I didn't become diabetic over the last week!
Why is "eden" not a valid word?!?
deutsch -- the last bit sounds like what you do when you cut yourself shaving... once you get it, youll spell the ending aloud!
Deutsch, you have pretty ponies hehe :)
I just got it. LOL slap this former English professor with the haddock of obviousness!
Hi TSM. I'm a herd of zebra today. Is all well with you in the windy city?
ok I'm confused - I got the 7/36 off my 3rd ca5/12, are there 2 ca7/36s?
good morning all...hope there are alot of words today....otherwise i'm in for another long and boring day? so the question is how many words today?
kristin -- maybe you have a Ca 5/12 we dont... i have the large gun and the one that rhymes with what the elderly and disabled use to help them walk...
Ev - yep I have one that is a boat that uses paddles
ahh, i always miss that one -- thanks!
181 words
I'm off to my birthday brunch; so, I'll catch up w/y'all later.
happy birthday!
thank you D...i was afraid no one notice.
happy birthday!!
Happy Birthday!!
Morning all-- Jera-- I think the change from DST affects me too. Been sick since Mon. Tired, chills, other stuff.
Thanks. It was yesterday; but, I was travelling all day. So, I've decided to celebrate the whole month.
ooh happy b-day gramma my b-day is on monday scorpio's rule
always a good plan!
yw, T!
been hunting for the di 7 and 8. Any clues, please?
Deutsch - windy city is windy... go figure! :) How about things by you?
Di8: 1st part -- "im gonna go take a *** in the pool" 2nd part -- negative 3rd part -- french years Di7 is singular of that.
hey.... my best friend bbnaz just started this month.... hate her ...rankings higher than mine....lol
Thanks, Evanadine! Woo hoo!
hi all - I'm back for a smidgen of time....
Hi EasternBlue
Hi Deutsch...I like the new picture!
Thanks, I've become a herd! lol. I like you seasonal icon, too!
just a little something I drew in paintbrush...I had a halloween theme for a few days, but didn't get to play much for the past few days...
Joelgee... people think I'm crazy, but I have a very well-developed sense of time, comes from my nature religion, I think... I'm vert attuned to natural order... suddenly saying it's an hour earlier or later really throws me... good thing I don't travel, I bet I'd have fierce jet lag!
morning all nice clue evanidine!
Anybody who thinks they have a bead on the complex workings of gaia(?) and how things interact, is just a tad arrogant as far as I'm concerned. Sorry if not making sense. Head fuzzy (inside)
But that doesn't mean you're not crazy--as opposed to the rest of us sane *cough* folk.
anyone have clues for the pr words? missing last two.
any hints for the Pi 6/ 27?
pi6/27 - take a basket with food and eat outside
for the pi6/27, you take a blanket. You take some food. You put the blanket on the ground. The insects swarm. You pick up the blanket and go to a nice restaurant.
well, slap me with a haddock and call me stupid! hehe
hi joelgee...is that the shiraz you were recommending?
In fact it is. Technically, a shiraz blended with about 6% viognier (a white wine). Yummy. (a technical, sophisticated wine word.)
evanadine - french for years???? can't get that part to work
mamabear-- how are you spelling years in french?
first half of the response to a question...
never mind, evanadine - I figured it out - nice tan on that chicken by the way
Evandine-- Yeah. What do you do about that turkey's tan lines?
joelgee -- how do you think i get the light meat and dark meat??
evanadine...too clever!!
ev-- that was quick. I needed a laugh.
any clues for Pr5/12 and Pr6/21 ?????
sometimes, i even amuse myself...teeheehee
Sorry Beg, don't have those 2 either.
stick a PR in front of your io 4/4
Thanks Ev
for those not literate in french or other languages, I use this site http://www.yourdictionar y.com/ I use it in my work but it also has a translator around mid page.
thanks. now i just have one more to go.
kristin, i need a drink... lemme have yours? lol
deutsch-- space in URL between r and y.
Toesock, its only 10am here, but what the hell, pours a nice cold one into Toe's glass...
*takes a look* Oh, thank, Joel. Just remove befor you use it. lol
done, anyone need anything before i get outta here?
Kristin - it's only 10am here too but if coffee isn't saving me, what else is there? lol j/k
hey joelgee
bergery-- if you could pick up a quart of milk and a loaf of bread . . .
Gunna have to take your word for that until I find it,IF I find it
probably really do need to. lol
Toesock, Chicago is one of my favorite cities, nothing like Michigan Avenue at Christmas
*whew* 33 words left to go and theyre all 4s and 5s... gotta go get some work done, but ill be back!! :D
hey tsm-- Your new icon seems very atmospheric. Are those bare autumnal trees being windswept?
later, evanadine
Kristin, so true! chicago is a wonderful city!
big-shouldered hog butcher to the world!
Kristin - I agree with you. No Christmas is the same unless I get the chance to walk up and down Mich. Ave. and look in all the windows and drink hot cocoa!
wow, we're drinkin already??? And I notice you fine people are paying tribute to my city!!!! aw shucks!
Did we just have a visit from carl sandburg?
Joel - Yes a bit dark of a picture but looks AWESOME large. The trees are all wind blown I know. That's how my yard looks now only with BRIGHT leaves all over the grass. Pretty cool :)
Yes we did. He channels through me sometimes. Sometimes he gets the wrong channel.
MAMA! - I had no idea you were a chicagian as well! Hurray!
Hello everyone!
If you get the wrong channel, do you get Shirley MCLain? I hope not! lol Sandburg is a much better writer!
lupe-loo-- hi.
Hi Lupe smaller, still here?
G list anyone???
Yes ToeSock - have lived here all my life. Today is what I call a "happy leaf" day..... where the sun is shining brightly on the beautifully changing leaves on the trees and they are falling gently to the ground and the light breeze makes them jump - looks like they are dancing!
Hi Lupe! a fun part about this chat thing is to go away for awhile and come back mid way through a conversation you people are funny, even funnier out of context!
Yes, Deutsch. That's exactly what happens. Sandburg writes better, but shirley is a better actor, so it's a wash.
Happy leaf day here, as well... nt a cloud in the sky... my back yard is gorgeous!
Hi Deutsch! Yes, here. in and out. you are such a sweetie
Joelgee, LOL!!
Wait a second. I forgot. I'm not independently wealthy. Doh! Back to work. Later.
Aw, *blushes*
just played Countdown....not the same without cheesy richard
I love the fall season as well - it's the cold brutal Chicago winters that I do not enjoy!
Later, Joel!
Bye Joel...
Mamabear-we are on the same page. I have lived here all my live as well! I have traveled all over and no city makes me smile like Chicago does. Although London was FREAKIN AWESOME! (the history alone made me fall in love with the city even before visiting)
bye joel hurry back, will need fishes
Lupe - I agree - I don't enjoy the bitter cold either and the older I get the harder it is. But the south has their hurricanes, and the west has earthquakes - there' s good and bad everywhere I guess.
see ya joel
True MAMABEAR - looking at the larger picture - we've been very fortunate...
Baltimore isn't bad. Winters not too cold, tornados are rare, hurricanes rare, summers... hot and humid. Never mind.
What an idiot I am! Just realised the only obvious Brit in chat log is ME.....oh i love talking to myself bout brit tv....
Well all, tonight i am going to bake until I am to tired to stand. Who wants pie and cookies? lol =o)
well I better get back to work - see y'all at lunchtime!
toesock... what's on the menu?
TSM - chocolate chip cookies??? oo \_/
Later MAMA...
tbear... what flag is your bear holding?
Baking my Xmas cake tonight
apple pie TSM??
Tbear, I was wondering what you were talking about. I thought maybe it was an internet game. LOL
Jera no idea....but it was a bear
later mama!
Countdown is a word game on tv and the presenter died in June and now the new presenter doesn't feel right
Oh, tbear. I see your point. some shows just don't have the same feel.
Menu for tonight - Apple pie and dutch apple pie (you know the kind with that crumbly loveliness on the top) Also making blueberry pie. Cookies- Chocolate chip (of course) and oatmeal
hello, everyone. can i have a clue for di7?
TSM...yum...I'll be over later : )
ToeSock....adopt me...please
Sounds like a plan.... if any one comes over please be sure to bring me a free word for my babble puzzle. LOL ;)
Good morning, everyone!
Awesome! I get to have a bear for my child! I hope you like video games.... ROFL
Hurshy, there was a clue posted earliler for the di 7 and 8. It involved a french word. I don't remember it, though.
Another Chicagoan, South Sider, home of the SOX - great city.
Good Morning to you
Mary- your coming over too and you have no choice... HAHA
WOW TSM - that's a lot of baking. Apple pies are my fave! Feeding an army, or selling to the masses?
Hey Mary !
ToeSock am a Mario freak and love little ones but not teenagers....what time?
Please forgive if I don't answer right away... I can't print out my worksheet so I have to keep refering to WinWord...
I'm from the North side - dating a Bridgeport guy - both white sox fans!!
mornin' cybernan...
Jera, what's winword?
Microsoft word... word for windows... I call it winword for some strange reason...
does anyone have a clue for ed 6/24?
cybernan, that's a beautiful icon.
Think of Adam and Eve and add a couple of letters
tban, like paradise ed6
ty Haz and Deu
You're welcome, Tban.
Can someone please send me the URL to the site where the stats are posted? I cant seem to find it. Thanx
tash go to babblers anonymous > general
yw, t
How the heque is everyone today?
good torgone - how are you??
Well, I am not married but have a funny as hell boyfriend. No children yet but since I am adopting you then you will be my first! :) Anytime. lol
Hooray for Captain torgone... You now have entrance music hehe!
TY Scoutsmom
Tippy-tappy with a song in my heart! (The above is sarcasm)
Good day everyone! Back to try this again.
http://p105.ezboard.com/fbabbl ersanonymousfrm2.showMessage?t opicID=6.topic
Alright all. I have some work here to take care of. Be back in a while. Good luck!
Well, I'm at 98 words after trying all by myself, then milking the log for whatever I could get. It's off to the stats for me, looks like.
ew is torgone in a bad mood today!!!!!!!
Bad mood? Should I stay away?
Not really, shorty .. But I think took an extra sn5/12 pill this morning ..
i havent got that word yet LOL
Not at all M_fan! I'm starting to feel better ..
Ah Torgone...Babble will always do that for ya!
Hello everyone! I'm stuck on the 1st ge 5/14. Any hints? I have the one in the bottle and the jib on the yacht.
Good good...I didn't want to give death by tickling so early (or not) in the day...
Kimm - birds
Thanks Haz!
anyone got the di7?
yep
wanna help shorty?
a *** in a pool negative word french word for year
Yes, and the di 8 that is its plural. Take a *** in the pool, say ** to drugs and add French for year.
ok the in 6/27 and 7/36 have me stumped
shorty, lol, way to make 'em beg!
Kimm, Ge 5/14 - Farmyard bird or something you might eat at Christmas plural
Thanks LOL
In 6/27 - in plus what sounds like a description of a fir tree heavily laden in7/36 - sounds like the opposite of what prisoners would do to get out of jail.
Thanks Neeny, got it!
ty shorty
yw
thanks Haz...could u try something else for the 6/27 though...don't know much about fir trees.....
Yai, anyone got any idea how to work cakewalk?
Tban - what fruit do pine trees have? Alternatively, I think it is a name for a dog-like animal.
Miyavi- I think you put numbers on the floor in a circle. Everyone stands on a number and walks in a circle when the music begins. When the music stops a number is called and whoever is standing on the number gets the cake.
i tried that Haz..at least i think i did
Um...not sure that's quite it, Kimm! It's a computer program I appear to be jinxed with
Tban - the word ends in a consonant rather than a vowel.
Haz, Did you just put that letter on the grid? I swear this is the first I've seen of it! lol
Deutsch - i was keeping it up my sleeve the whole time!
I knew it! I actually got two words with your one clue! Thanks!
You're welcome, Deutsch. Keep an eye out for new letters appearing....
i cannot get that in6/27
That consant on the end of the "in" is not your usual kind of consonant.
OK - try again. In plus word 'to trick or deceive' followed by a consonant on the bottom grid, value of 3
Robert, think of the popular amusement park in NY. It's an island. Nathan's hotdogs are there.
start with the upper "i"
Sorry Miyavi, that was the lowtech answer.
in6 adds to the co4/7
thanks deutsch i was born in brooklyn!
Kimm, it's the answer I'd prefer to be true :)
in6: a word of emphasis, as in 'thank you very much in6'
Glad to help, Robert!
Oops, I was stuck on the in7. It took me forever to get despite the excellent clues. LOL
oh, 27. never mind.
Deutsch, any more manskirt sightings?
struggling with last 2n's ni5/10 and ni6/18. Any help greatly appreciated
Davetines - add the French word for no, then again for the 6
Blimey...
Thanks Haz, only 9 to go now, never done as well as this before
Keep going - I'm not nearly as far along as you!
ty Fmitch and thank you too Haz, but I just wasn't getting it....finally i can move on...
Well done, Tban - make sure you remember that word for another babble!
Is it just me or is there something quite sick about a guy eating his own heart?
i'll try to Haz...i think i might
As long as he doesn't put catsup on it. That's just nasty.
Miy. ( had to deal with handy man again) Yes, sitings of manskirt. A new variation? Way too tight Khaki pants. Let me just say he was walking toward me.
Deutsch, ouch! Torgone, when people are growing extra arms/tongues in the background, does that make it gross. I can never look at Kyo in the same way again...
Sounds just a teensy bit over the top, M_fan.
ketchup!
smaller, you've brought a friend to the party! hehe
Ah, it was a Dir en Grey PV, that's why. I should have known really, the title of the song was 'Obscure'.
trying to, deutsch! but the friend's a she and SHE WON"T CHAT! hey, she did get a gift of about 20-50 words when she logged on for a few days from the Babble Fairy. any thoughts on how that happened? Dr. God that nice to new people now?
Never heard of that, Smaller. *whispers, holds out a hand* hey, smaller's friend, hi!
awww Deutsch! Again with the sweetness! You're like the "Frosted Sugar Bombs" from the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip, miss that. Her babble name is Libbylou
Libbylou, are you also a C and H fan?
Hey Libbylou...where are you? Join the party...it's addicitive!
running to grab some lunch...back to babble once I have my sandwich...
Hurry back, Eastern, and make mine tuna salad!
ok 51 words to go....should be able to do that by 1:30...which will leave a void in the rest of my day, but i'll have to cope....who else has a job where they do little or nothing for 8.5 hours?
i mean everyday, five days a week
Ouch, T. Maybe you should just chat for a while and help others (read me) to prolong your babble game. hehe
A job where you do nothing? What career is that? (and can you get me an application form?)
Any clues on en6/21 and eo6/18, please they're driving me crazy
when i first got the job...i was expecting so much more and i complained for a little while and practically begged for work...now i babble all day and do whatever little bit i get in between and just accept it...i've got 8 more months and i can endure it...they keep saying it's going to pick up....
i'm a paralegal Miyavi....but the thing is that the company i work for is so expansive that everyone has there part to do and it generally doesn't mix....so all the things i could be doing are being done by others.....
en +you***** a soda without the k thats the best I can do
*takes notes*
sorry davetins those are the two that i just went ahead and skipped over for now
Anyone have a clue for na 4/4 (not the other word for cella)?
eo 6 build on the base of the eo4.
haha miyavi...the only reason i haven't looked for another job is because i like my boss and i signed up for a year so i'd feel guilty about leaving.....i know i'd get over it...but i don't mind and easy job where i learn some stuff to carry me into the next one....i mean i just got out of school in may....it's kind of a break from reality....with a touch of realism if that makes any sense
*trying to think of sodas with out the k...* hmmm
Thanks deutsch only 4 to go now
thanks Deu...i can cross those off the list now...
na4/4 plural of an indian bread with an a missing
Any thing liquid you ***** it
Have either of you figured out shorty's clue for the en?
...A little...my break from reality turned out to be way too prolonged :) Now I don't know the way back
yes....en + a soft ****k
when your thirsty
Thank you shorty
your welcome
Miyavi honey(((x))) How are you? Hi everyone, not staying long :(
davetins, thanks. Took me a minute there.
i like taking break Miyavi, but I always find my way back....it's just too bad i wasn't able to go on to further education right now because this job would be perfect while someone was in school...
Hey Lotti! I'm great thanks (apart from whiplash from over-violent drumming) how are you?
*Loudly screams* DUH! Thanks everyone. What's black and white and red all over?
Ah, I can't imagine myself working as anything...I can't even imagine myself as a year ten!
Heya lotti luv! What's shakin?
Can't find my third co14 anywhere. I have the one to do with fir trees and the description of it. Any clues anyone?
Good......well, better than i was :) I take it the drummings going well then! Macadam and myself were talking about you yesterday (her modem is down, so she can`t get on line).
hydra if u have to co 4/5 right b4 it just add another letter
Torgone you gorgeous, gorgeous thing you!!!! I`m doing ok .......you?
Talking about me? I hope I came off favourably :) The drumming...all depends on how you define "well", I guess...:)
ty 4 the clue t
I'm doing okay, lotti.
yw shorty... your name brings to mind a character from bust a groove...a game i used to play...cute character...
oh thanks
Miyavi, don`t you always!!! We were looking at the Argos catalogue and saw these brilliant collectables called "Rock Hard Fairies" Straight away both of us said your name ;) Have you seen them?
my husband always calls me that so i use that name
Wow, I haven't seen them but I can already feel my ego pumping to extortionate proportions :D
Thanks for the clue, Tban, but I still can't get it. Not at my brightest today.
Torgone I`m glad you`re ok. Have you missed me? I`ve really missed you guys!
Deutsch...one tuna sammie for ya!
Of course we missed you! All the time you were gone we were dressed in black. I personally went wandering over the moors, murmuring, "Lotti...Lotti..." and occasionally "Heathcliff" as well...just couldn't help it
Thanks, eastern, how was your sammie?
I have missed you, lotti. Are you doing better?
Hey! *jumps up and down and starts clapping excitedly* Kyo is in the grid!
ok hydra....try if something is shaped like a co/45 then it is said to be co5/14 in shape
co5/14 comedian with middle letter changed?
Down to the nitty gritty - does anyone have a clue for the ca7?
lol at miyavi for the wuthering heights reference...i love that book....just read it again last semester for one of my classes...always a good book
grilled cheese...quite tasty : )
LOL I love you Miyavi !!!!! Next time come further north over the moors, you may find me then hahaha!
*bows*
add 2 letters to your 2nd ca5/12
*packs bag and is on her way* Hey, how big can one country be?
Cyber its your third ca5/12 not second.
yes, sorry, start on bottom row
Thanks Torgone. Yeah i`ve been doing much better, but my back is aching a bit today. Can you rub it for me?
I've got both those co-haped ones, folks. But there's a third co/14 I haven't got. Any ideas?
Miyavi, they say it`s a small world!!!!
Hydra it's co not shut
lotti, I give <<<Awesome>> backrubs. I'm there!
* (Beep) this is an automated message. The person you are trying to contact is away from her desk, wandering aimlessly across the moors. Please try again later*
What a brilliant clue, davetins. Thanks so much. Got it now. Phew!
Torgone..................Whooo o can`t wait ;)
Great clue Davetins, I din't have that one either -thanks
ooo good to know
TY dave -- one of the ca4's is also eluding me - I have the movie prefix and the grafting twig

good day all...lotti who ya fightin over??? i got your back girlfriend...lol
Hi Baggo ...Torgone of course ;)
Er...I'm not really strong enough to defend anyone (arms are about as strong as two long noodles) but I'm with you both in spirit?
Cybernan is it the plural of another word for tins??
ewwww...that might be a tough one...see while you were gone....***decides not to tell...give torgone back to lotti***
Am now a paid member thanks to a good swift kick in the arse from best friend and fellow member Christa. Now if I could just solve half of these things I would be a happy sort.........
Kirsten - is that the pomegranite martini?
Cyberman, my drink of choice - cosmopolitan
have y'all been reading Jane magazine? I saw the recipe for pomegranite 'tinis in there.
It's a ci 4/4 that I'm missing
Scoutsmom if you'd like to mix up a batch, I'd love to try it :)
Hi baggo, hi all. Just came back from lunch (thanks again, Eastern) Has there been fighting on the chat?
cybernan there is no ci4/4
Baggo, I know that...Bless him, he`s in need of a good woman, but i`m in even more need of a good back massage!!!! Torgone have you been putting yourself about a bit???!!!!!
bit early for me...and to be honest I wouldn't know what to do with a martini that doesn't have gin.
lotti's taken smaller on over torgone...watch out
sorry - ci 4/5
cybernan / Italian for hello??
lotti he was gonna marry man, then ran off and hid so we just had a huge party...lola's arranging of course
that should be marry me....that'll get him outta hiding for sure...lol
Hmmm...confusion is really no fun sometimes. (Unless someone else is confused, in which case it's quite funny).
wow, one little comment! Lotti, i know how much of stickler for quality you are, so I'll just be the guinea pig to hone those skills
LOL....I thought sis would have something to do with party arranging!!! Who was he gonna marry???
Thank you dave - didn't know anything other than English (excepting all of those outlandish medical terms) was allowed.
that's the way smaller...take one for the team...8-)
little ole me...i gave him a clue and he just proposed so romantic and all...lol
I haven't had this many women fighting over me since ... well, since ever. I've never had women fight over me. What a concept.
My name's Wes, I'm not in this mess
torgone, you look just lovely today...and i really mean it...
torgone, it must be that sexy mustache and bushy eyebrows that just melts women's hearts - lol
exactly baggo! i am so noble
Hey Smaller, he`s one hell of a guy, my trouble is you`d all get to him before me, cos i`m on the wrong side of the pond :(
Hi all! is Myavi still in twon? haven't seen her for a bit...what's up with the ca7..can't seem to peg that one down?
oh, lotti! You're worth the trip to be first!
lotti, i'm much farther away than smaller, i'm midwest...but hey fire up anj's jet....
pav, build off the third ca5 12
pav3 add 2 letters to the ca5/12 (religious)
Yes, I haven't seen Miyavi for days...*searches*

yes the banana peel really does work...I am being totally serious, back of neck, inside of the peel against your neck...not sure how it does, read it in an alternative medicine mag once, and it helps me and my hubby...
Baggo - if it really does work, people will go ape for it! : )
That was SO WRONG, eastern...
i'm at work..... oh well, won't be the first time they've thought me crazy Eastern Blue *groan*

baggo and lotti, "work" is code for him, he really means "smaller" lol just kidding, please don't kill me
baggo - how long do you keep the peel there?
tban - oops never mind, wrong n7 word!
smaller, smaller, smaller, you fit in so nicely around here...((xx)) chessy i do it about 20 minutes or so, you will feel the headache start to go away after about 10...then i keep it on for goog measure..
is that for the ni 7 or the no7 or both...i have the ni7
Thanx baggo, I'll try it now. Think of me sitting here with a banana skin wrapped round my neck :)
tban the vitamin is the na, I don't have the no word either
I think I could do with that...headache has just been bought on by severe confusion...fan videos shouldn't be this confusing...
thanks baggo
ty kristin
my husband uses the 2 pieces and puts one on his neck and the other on his forehead...works either way...i just looked in the magazine it says 30...do what works for you...
no 7 negative & the first ac4

Can someone tell me how many words there are today? Please?
Efor what a pretty kitty!!
kristin the no is not ac4/6
181
efor go to babblers anonymous its on the right side of your screen
i mean not +ac 4
ty kristen!
another fi4/7 and fyi under babblers anonymous on the friends of babble part, there is a second letter list posted under general...
got it tban thanks!
Thank you very much.
umm, is it thinkable that there's a mistake on Brandyjack's stats? I've got a co 6/24 that doesn't seem to be there ....?
got it. ty baggo!
Stop! I take it back! Misreading my own lists - not a good sign.
its there amanda its what happens when you make up a signature phase or another way of saying the make-up part anyway...does that make sense
Efor I had a kitty like that (Pierre), but lost him in the divorce - pooh lip. You brought a smile to my face with that one, thanks.
You're welcome :) Hey, anyone seen my tranquilizer gun?
i won't tell brandyjack that you were in doubt...
its over the next moor.... ;-)
37 words to go...
I need to leave, but I can't seem to find ni 6/21 and 7/32. I know someone probably already gave a clue, but could anyone repeat it?
bah. Anyone got one they could lend me? I've seen a fan vid that doesn't tie in with something in a pretty major way. I think my favourite (male) singer just kissed a guy
type of vitamin b3 Kimm
vitamin, and actually it's in a banana...
singular and plural
Thanks tban and baggo! I could hug you!
...and on that note I must go. See you all later!
Thanks for that, Tban.

bye miyavi....I'm gonna head to, have some shopping to do before i pick up kiddos....see ya in a bit...:-)
See y'all later, Baggo and Miy! Good afternoon.
ur welcome amanda but i'm really tryin to protect the rest of us from losing out..no offense
welcome Kimm
bye, baggo!
could really use a clue for the os
Tban - add the ci 4/5 to do with film
who's got the op7?
Baggo, you rock. You are #2 in the rankings.
op 7/56 - sounds like someone begging for peace. Or just add pa6/39
very cool Haz....thank you...34 words left and i'm off to pick up lunch....be back soon....Deutsh wonderful idea you had to put the drag on my babble....thanks for that....
i knew i was missing a letter. D..sorry...ok i'll be back
ty, haz! times 2
Haz, ty times 3
I'm down to my last four words, so I may well be looking for help myself!
thanks haz, gave me both
...and im back from the work-graveyard! maybe ill have time to hunt down my final 33 words...hehe
hmm. Why is there ae4/5 and e4/4, but ae6/21 and not e5/5? Or is it just another hole in the Babble time-space continuum?
can i have a clue for ci 4/5 to get the other one haz please
Good afternoon/evening/morning everyone! Trying to do this one without a2z again, but I may have to break down soon....
ci4/5 A descendant or heir
amanda - guess it's just Babble messing with our minds again ...
e-girl Italian for hello
There is an italian word for goodbye, also a word meaning descendant or heir - mix up the letters of co4/5
thanks got it
Sorry, my italian's obviously not up to scratch!
* runs in, out of breath* hi everybody! busy day! don't want to stop the action - but does anyone have a clue for en6/21?
can you help how does ci4/5 help with film haz and clues to help find that word that you were helpin tban with earlier
Okay fellow babblers - I'm stuck on my last word. It's the first or second no4/4. Any help, please?
en6/21
A highly toxic chlorinated hydrocarbon, C12H8OCl6, used as an insecticide.
I hope its ok to do this sounds like chou but spelled different
think dark, black
Haz, have you got French word for black?
E-girl - think of the place where you go to see films? It's the first four letters.
1st 2 no4/4s: French for black, Italian for grandmother
that was for you, haz.
that dang ge5 meat gets me every time!!!!!
If it is not that, then I got "nothing" for ya.
Chessy, I have now. Many thanks! It's a bit ironic considering I have a degree in French!
Huh. "noid" never made it to the dictionary. Domino's will be most unhappy to hear this.
haz 1554 - either pinot N*** or italian grandma
can you tell me what the letter starts with and how many cause im confused i just saw you post that clue but i did not see what and how many letters and points there were
E-girl - what word are you looking for? I've lost track with all the excitement of finishing.
haz sorry you gave tban a clue earlier about film and adding ci4/5 do you know what the word starts with and how many points its worth
thanx uneaxiose!
ci 4/5 - Italian (mostly vowels) ci 4/5 - to do with films ci 4/5 - descendant (anagram of co4/5) Basically all the words begin with ci, are four letters long and yield 5 points.
now the co6/21s are giving me fits!
e_gurl85, was that the os6/21?
To your co, add ni 4/4 then replace the vowel to make another word
os + ci 4/5 - to do with films
ci 4/5 to do with films i cant figure that one out can i get help other than that please
never mind got to it now the ci4/5 to do with films thanks all
the last four letters of your os6/21 will give you the ci 4/5 - to do with films
e-girl - ANY - that gives you the answer
got it thank you
sc 4/5 sc 5/14 sc 5/14 se4/5 se 6/24 se 4/4 sn 4/5 These are the s words i have can i have clues on some that i am missing if anyone has them please
My vote for the word that should be a word today is "snirp" - meaning, to snort and slurp at the same time.
sc4/6 An Old English poet or bard
sn5/12 Derogatory in a malicious, superior way
Bugzy - or sneeze & chirp at the same time : )
...and they should give us a pa7/8 while they're at it :-)
LOL Easternblue, I like your def. better! :)
Bugzy - it would have been nothing without the word itself : )
I'm new. Where are you getting the e4/4 and as6/21 ect clues. I don't find them anywhere!
bugzy! LOL! TY haz 1558...
eo 6/18 any clues? I have the eo 4, but I can't seem to expand it.
hello Denise.....hello everyone....Denise there are some very kind people on here that post the clues to help each other
The word starts with the first letter or two, the first number is the number of letters in the word, and the last number is the number of points for each word
hi karys...
Example, ci4/5, the word starts with ci, is 4 letters long, and worth 5 points.
eo6/18.....someone that lives in the eo4/4 ?????...sort of !!
hi Temple...you ok ?
everyone - if ed6//24 is a word, why isn't ed4/4 inthere as well?
Oh, I get it! That was very nice of you to explain it to me. It looked so "greek" to me. Now it's going to make sense! Thanks!
I did wonder too Temple !!
i wondered that too temple owl... it doesn't make sense.
Denise1985...underneath the "Friends of Babble", there is an option for Babblers Anonymous (open a new page to go to the link...). On Babbler's Anon & under the "General" link there are stats for the puzzle (posted graciously by BrandyJack)
hi new pussycat !
now for the eo6/18...
Hi-- jumping in for a bit. Temple-- I have two hypotheses: 1. There is no order or sense to the universe 2. Ed4 would be proper noun. ed6 adj. Of course "1" and "2" are not mutually exclusive
nice icon, efor!
*drumroll...dddddddddddddddddd dddddddddddd* enter the smeltzdog!
thanks! gotta change it up every once in a while... too many cute pics to choose from! :o)
joel - I think your point 1 explains it all !
hey joelgee! i think ed4/4 has been used in a non proper noun sense, but...
temp-- see hypothesis #1
how many pa.4/5's ar there please? x
lol chessy! or at lest the babbleverse... : )
I think it just depends on what day it is, what sort of day it's had, and how it feels generally !!!
re: (no ed4) and ed6. Awesome. I just got the ed6 from that discussion. :D Still searching for the eo6 18 though
ah - now it's an entity? are we going insane or what? LOL
only 2 M3
of course Temple....don't you talk to it too ?
eo 6 build off the base of eo4
evenin' all! How we doing? This seems like a bit of a nasty one today - have been playing for about an hour and am already hitting the wall......
thanks Karys x
eo6/18.....think of someone living in eo4/4
eo6 - of, or related to eo4/5
I must just be missing it or something. I've been trying to build off eo 4 and so far haven't gotten anything.
EasternBlue...I found that! It took me a while. Thank you so much. I'm very grateful.
hi Dachef
eo is a 4/4, not a 4/5
mirrin drop the last letter and go from there
dachef-- hi.
karys - now that i live alone i talk to everything!!!! LOL!
Hi Dachef, how's the gales in B'mth tonite?
hello dachef!
Temple I don't live alone...but still talk to everything !!
Hi joelgee - the black chook?!?!?! sounds like a dodgy porn film from the 80s....
Denise - my pleasure...not too long ago I was also new! (be forewarned, this game & the chat are addictive!)
Sorry, eo4/4... Also, we have ae6/21, but nothing with the same ending for the eo words. And eo6/18, but no word with the same ending for the ae words... weird!
I know that you believeyou understand what you think I said but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant
chessy - gales are lashing the house, the rainis painting the windows, but I have a ful cup of coffe, the fires on and Im nice and cosy. S*d the rain!
oh, dachef!!!! ROFLMAO! your icon!
Dachef - just along the coast from you, think we should start collecting wood for an ark!
LOL...my thoughts exactly shorty !!
Finally got it! That took way too long.
ROFLMAO
Chessy and Dachef...where are you then ?
a clue for en 6/21?
Karys, sunny Southsea on the south coast ...
can i get hints for pr 5/12 and pr 6/21 please.
yes, dachef. That's exactly what it is. I'm not going to ask how you know. Actually, it's a lovely Australian shiraz/viognier blend.
sunny ????? ....chessy !!
Im in Bournemouth - sunny in summer, very very very wet in winter, spring and autumn! Chessy - where you?
Morning all how is everyone today? :o)
excuse me for asking Dachef....but is that not a Welsh Dragon ???
good morning Nordina!
pr 5/12 like the word meaning before pr*** except change the last letter
nordina-- life is just a bowl of cherries. Yeah. Right.
pr 6 21 is the plural of pr 5 12. Something that causes mad cow disease.
karys - yeah! Im orignally from the Valleys - I moved here through work. If I put anything other than a Welsh flag up my friends and family would probably disown me!!!!
Its blowing a gale and raining in Kent too ... *sigh*
so this game gets easier each time you play, right?
good to see you r so positive this morning Joelgee hahahah
joelgee - yeah, life is a bowl of cherries, but unfortunately someone has seen fit to pickle them all in vinegar! LOL!
Essex it has rained ALL day but no Thunder unlike Norfokk X
bbnaz - easier? what planet are you from?
bbnaz - er, no.
well i WAS feeling a bit o2 deprived..........
No 7/36 plz
Hi Karys - nice to see you and Garfield back
dachef - the first time i read your bio, i wondered why you did not have that icon...
hey, Dachef! They've let you out for a bit then?
thanks for explanation Dachef....(can't help being nosy)..
Hi cyber...ty for that.....bytheway I like your flower !!
Joelgee...if dachef's right,I'm not sure if I should be wandering around asking for it......!!
Here in the Midlands...it is fine and clear...bit breezy..and still warm
yo miyavi - yeh, Im out for a short while, but I have to phone them every 2 hours to make sure I havent married a tree again. Havent seen you around for ages - how you doing?
hey tbear! hey miyavi - that's a good picture of him...
how many words today guys?
Nemaluli.....no7 something that won't give you heartburn
can i have a clue for the last ri6/21 please?
I'm reminded of the english teacher telling students how funny English is. Two negatives parse into a positive. But you can't take two positive words and extract a negative statement. From the back, one student says, "Yeah. Right."
hahaha Joelgee... :o)
for the ri6/21, put your ri5 in the past tense.
Thank you :) Ni 6/21 and Ni 7/32 please?
joelgee - LOL!
in7 clue, please?
back again now....too many phone interuptions !!
Karys - how dare people call when UR babbling?!
en7.....portfolio or ????.....finishes it !!
ty - my word log is awry!
Karys, what is warm in the Midlands?
Lupe ...exactly what I said !!!
cyber add a sc5/14, its my first sc, but it may not be "the" first one
LOL...LOL...bbnaz.....the weather.... what else !!
Nenaluli....n6 vitamin and plural is n7
bbnaz-- It gets easier in this respect: Babble includes lots of unique words. Over time, you can see these words that don't exist anywhere else in the universe--kind of like certain hair colors
right, but i am in the desert of arizona where we are still in the high 80s (f) and was just wondering what your weather was like? every time i have been to england it has been record breaking heat
LOL...joel
Kristin - thank you -- it is the first sc5
ccould you come back this summer then bbnaz ?
tyvm joel. i have hope although my attempt today is rather pitiful.........still slogging away though
only if you promise cold, wet weather
how many words today guys?
no...that is NOT required here bbnaz !!
nordina ..181
181
English heatwave is when you dare to take your cardi off.....ha
how can it be pitiful? Are you enjoying yourself? Are you liking the chat folk? Are you learning new words? Have you laughed at all? Anything pitiful there?
thank you Karys!!
well if i get there, you can count on unseasonably warm clear weather and once again I will have to shop for appropriate clothes..............
nice one joel !
nothing wrong with shopping !
just the dodgy state of my brain that is what is pitiful. the people are enlightening, humorous and the logic is, well, i am laughing
to paraphrase bob dylan: everyone must get sc5/12d
I'm done!!! First time without resorting to a2z - thanks for all the help everyone. I'll stick around for a few minutes in case any of you need a clue, then I'm off to make my lunch.
Is it me or was todays game a sneaky one? took me ages to find some of the words, it's a relief to be finished. Tbear I'm going to have a look at that site now see you tomorrow G'night all
bbnaz - logic? You want logic? You've come to the wrong place!
I think bbnaz needs a midweek "pickmeup" where is lola, mtnjock? Who pouring the champers??

MAMA - tack on the first two letters of a frozen **ecube
En 6/21
Mirrin...would love to help but can't think of a clue !!!
pav3 - I sympathize - I get migraines several times a month - it s*cks.
Hi pav3 - I have been wondering where you have been!!!! Sorry about the headache - don't do the frying pan cure though - I've tried it and although when you hit yourself in the cranium, it does help, you then drop the pan causing a tremendous amount of noise which starts the whole process all over again!!!!
en 6/21 - finish plus first letters of something you wear on your finger
Oh, Karys, that was too good!
that did the tr**k, Lupe, thanks!!!!!
ok mirrin here is what we got for clues earlier take a *** in the pool + opposite of yes + the french word for year...singular and plural
Hello all. Why won't it take ed (paradise). I have tried it 3 or 4 times & it claims that it is not a valid word! Whats up w/ that?
:) Thank you. How about di 7 and 8?
How about the pe 6/24 Any clues, please?
lol...Deutsch
sanky, it is a proper name
mirrin - di 6 and 7 take a *** in the pool, then say ** to drugs, then add french for year
I get migranes often also, I found that if I sit in a hot bathtub with an icepack on my head, it helps A LOT... sometimes even gets rid of it. oh and Hi everyone!!
Pe 6/24 is past of Pe 4/5
mirrin....start with top 'd'...and wiggle right !!
pe 6 is the past tense of pe 4/5. Anagram of pine.
thank God for first year french.
karys - thank you for the help on di7 and di8.
T, too, get headaches, almost daily if you were to average it out...as a result of a brain aneurysm. Only thing that works are major prescription drugs. Sometimes the bath thing works also.
Education is never wasted!
haz1558 - can you expand on that en 6/21 clue please? can only think of one thing to put on finger and that doesn't reach the g
Haz, once again to the rescue! thanks! (won'ttell how many pe 4 5s I tried to get it)

YW - MAMA!
nena..in...plus small horse..change first letter
yw mirrin
nena, Haz seems to be busy. did you get Karys' clue? Haz really had to walk me through it. lol
Lupe613, when I get a migrane I'm not good for anything else but hiding somewhere dark and quiet... so the tub is as good as any place for me!
in 6/27 - if you have it, add co4/7 - it ends in a consonant rather than a vowel.
thank you bunches. I would've never figured that out... In 7/36 please?
hello - en6, anyone?
I retreat to my bed, my blanket, total darkness and silence.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me with my last words no7/36, pr5/12 and pr6/11
Love the kitty icon, karys.
nevermind - saw the clue further down
ty mirrin....
in 7/36 looks like the opposite of es6/24 - what prisoners would like to do
no 7 is not + ac 4/6
And finally, Ge 5/16 (after ge5/14 in a bottle).
ok, how about eo6?
pr 5 and its plural pr6/12 - add the first three letters of io 4
well done Tban....was trying to think !!
op 7/56?
for the pr's here's definition: A microscopic protein particle similar to a virus but lacking nucleic acid, thought to be the infectious agent responsible for scrapie and certain other degenerative diseases of the nervous system.
pr 5 and 6 - take your io4/4 and add to the end, which gets you the 6, then remove the last letter for the 5
nevermind again - i got eo6. i should try harder before posting, mm?
nena....change last letter again !

Chessy...sorry wasn't taking in all about banana skin...don't suffer myself...but suddenly thought daughter does...could you refresh directions please /
Karys - this was baggo's excellent tip - place banana peel against nape of neck and/or forehead for about 20 - 30 minutes - certainly seems to work ...
got it! thank you, now on to the e's... (I hate vowels)
if you place the banana skin on the back of your neck, what do you do with the rest of the banana?
okay. begging again. There's an no7/36 lurking in the underbrush. Need a beater.
baggo, pass that on to doogle if he comes on tonight. A woman in his office suffers from migrains.

kristin - drop the last letter of your poinon and pluralise the word you are left with
hi Mamabear, yup, we're al doing strange and semi-erotic things with bananas today.
put an o in front of your pa 6/39
poison even!!!
Hi again everyone. Gonna try to finish this now.
Dachef - ok - you got MY attention!!!
thanks snowy, i got it, even with the typo
Did I miss the erotic bits??? Typical!
hey everyone!
hi kataroo
yw kristin, Hi kataroo
i'm back and ready to give clues. who wants 'em? anybody? anybody?
snowy, mamabear, to be honest, I think everyone else was talking about the health-giving properties of banana, but it was only me who extolled their erotic virtues. Yup, just me again....
I still didn't get it.. I don't have the pa 6/39 either. Sorry..
the pa6 you need means "to appease"
Well Dachef, the Welsh always live in hope!
the only thing i know about bananas is they give you bpotassium so you don't get cramps...not so much erotic there, unless you consider it prevents injury in erotic situations?
That's OK Dachef, as long as SOMEBODY does!!!! *wink*
kataroo - is there anything worse than cramp right in the middle of, er, intimate moments?
hahah...i could think of a few! but yes, cramps def. kill the mood!
speaking of sex... i have the black eyed peas sung 'my humps' stuck in my head!
take the 'm' out... thats DEFinately worse
hey - what if there are children babbling here?
Thank you I got it!!
yay for kristinarose
if kids can figure out these puzzles more power to them...
didn't mean to be a spoilsport - just occured to me, that's all.
i wouldn't be surprised if i were the youngest here, or near the youngest, but who knows?!
a kid coulda gotten a good education past few days clicking def or googling 'erotic'
clue on ca 7/ 36
my humps...my humps my humps my humps, my lovely lady lumps... damn song.
nonetheless, a parent should be watchful and speak up if a young un is playing... that's all itd take.
im 16!!
ca 7/36 is prev ca5 in adj form
hurshy, youre probably right - sometimes the log can get a bit risque, however, methinks playground humour these days is a lot lot worse than anthing that is said here!
haha. carly made me scratch my head looking for a word that began with im and was 16 letters long!
im love MY HUMPS...best song in the world : p
playground humor has always been worse than most things adults say - 'cause it's MEAN.
the black eyed peas could have done so much better! they get points for breaking it down at the end, but i won't lie...it's too catchy. "whatcha gonna do with all that junk? all that junk inside yo trunk?" "I'm a get get get get you drunk...get you love drunk on my humps" it's so fun
aaaaaaahhhhhh, to be 16 again. No mortgage, no loan payments, no boss, just a bit of old fashioned peer pressure and parents that dont understand you.
how crazy I've been singing that song also all day
yes and I'm stillcrazy
it's the song my roomies and i listen to before we go out to get us in the party mood
i have a loan payment $116 a month + insurance
from bananas to black eyed peas.... glad i already ate supper!
that and golddigger!
still crazy, hi, just came in on yours, hahahahaha oh seeing you name makes me giggle everytime
16 isn't what it used to be, i guess. and then again, i'm 28 and have no mortgage, no loan payments, and not much boss to speak of.
lol ty smaller and hi there!
any clues for ni 5/10 and ni 6/18???
ni plus french for "no", then plural
only just now starting the ni's
i have bills and rent, but the nice thing about public schools is they take all your extra scholarship money at the beginning of the semester, put it in one large check, and hand it back to you...no job necessary, though i have one
+++sighs+++ ah to be free again! I have enough debt for all of us!
stillcrazy - who are you, then - the federal gov't?
oh, once grad school rolls around i'll be hugely in debt
I have the castrated roosters but I'm missing the other Ca6... May I have a clue please?
I might as well be hurshy!
ca6 is pl of prev 5/12
Pirate ships would shoot these off to sink other ships
tbug - you got it?
stillcrazy - that's only true in sound. the word you're talking about has two n's in the middle, ours today has just the one.
sorry to be such a know-it-all! :)
ok phonetically speaking then
Well, my 9 year old plays this game, but I announce her before she comes on... I trust you guys would play nice while she's around...
guess i've been living with an english teacher too long.
Damn. I have it already and have wasted the past half hour looking for something that doesn't exist. Thanks for putting me in touch with reality. Clues for the two Po6s?
i keep trying to use spanish words b/c they're fairly integrated into my vocab...doesn't work very well!
jera....I'll be nice til she reaches thirTEEN....ahhhhh
the first po6 is pl of the prev po5. the second is past tense of the prev po4.
I'm betting some got the word with my having to say it was phonetically speaking
without not with
of course jera... I always play nice...
yes, which is why it was silly of me to be such a stickler!
hi Jera good to see you
Hi stillcrazy... what a great name!
it was just that people were giving that clue earlier today as well, and it was driving me, well...crazy! i guess you'd understand about that. :)
Thank you kindly hurshy.
any clues for the di 7&8 ??? please
de nada. di7 - add the opposite of yes, and the article you put before a word that starts with a vowel. di8 is pl.
oops - forgot to say that you start with chips and d**
NIAMH...take a di_ in the pool and then what hurshy said....!
thank you hurshy... very nice ;~D
i think i'm going to go soon - anybody want any more clues before i sign off?
i love being beneficent!
Me too....great Paul Theroux book to finish...:)
sorry, am i rubbing it in too much that i'm done?
i'm still pretty new and don't know the etiquette.
hey, how'd that happen?
ack! all my posts are posting twice!
Go for it hurshy...I'm not and have been playing for yonks....only ever finished one LOL
but so did tbear's! are you guys seeing that?
Only you're getting them twice....it happens

Your baby....mama....your baby....(yr icon)
Just made me a little uneasy....LOL

Poo's Mom...I'm hiring a pool boy. I don't think it matters that I don't have a pool.
she was ranting about wanting to get away from her mom and thought of Rhode Island first... apparently it's more 'out of the way' than Florida, at least in her mind.
heque no! who said anything about needing a pool?
pr plus an atom with the wrong number of electrons. (and pl)
thanks hursh

jess and nuke-- thanks.
speaking of ca5/12. I loved Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. Sigh.
Anyone get a word with the K? If so, give me a hint, pleez.

joelgee, the plurals can kill you.... : ) TYVM
i cannot find the first po4/5 - even with atoz...not the bridge/brain part, the other

anyone got ca7 before i eat dinner!
sc5/12 pastry you might have at a tea party
sc5/7 sc + a charged particle
sc + io 4/4 without the s sc 5/12
sc5/12 offspring...
dachef: you want the lovely landsc6 or the one who will inherit it all one day - sc6 (like a branch of a tree)
for the sc-- some have been saying a new toyota model. Formal def--heir take your io4/4 and lop off the last consonant.
di7/36? di8/50?
brilliant - cheers guys! Finished at last! Phew what a scorcher! The ca7 is something that sounds like a highly ranked priest. Crap clue, I know, but I cantt think of anything else cos my brain's dead.
I'm looking for an ne6/21. Anybody?
ne 6/24 past tense of ne4/4(bright... usually in signs)
way to go dachef! *pulls hair from head* 15 more...must...keep...going....
joelgee - ne6/21 - past tense of an inert gas (ne4/4)
i'm not even going to ask how an inert gas can have a past tense. I'm just gonna say t'anks.
temple - di7 and di8: first syllable - what you put breadsticks in, second syllable - an Indian flatbread with one of the vowels changed! For the di8, pluralise!
di7/36: part 1= di* your oreos in milk part 2= opposite of yes part 3= french word for years
Also, and I'm pushing it here. there are two co6/21s. Feel like a bum, but I'm beggin'
di8 is plural of di7
Whew!!! Done... even found the 9 words I somehow forgot to put on my worksheet... anyone need help before I go watch Criminal Minds?
joelgee - co6/21s - both have the first 5 letters. co plus the number that comes after eight, and then change the last letter for the other one.
big up jera - here have some of the champers.
da-- thanks.
Thanks, Dachef... don't mind if I do! Never thought I'd finish... my husband is tinkering with electronic stuff & I had to quit for a while in the middle of finding those missing words... such fun...
tyvm dachef, rocky!
jera - dunno bout you but i found today really hard going! feels more like 381 words than 181!
Dachef --- your icon... Is it a shoe with eyes and a chef's hat? A shoe?
Mab, I guess you've not seen SouthPark?
nope. haven't. the show has a shoe?
mab - its supposed to be chef from south park - thought it was sorta appropriate....
ni6/18?
plural ni5/10
ni5/10?
ni5/10?
It was slightly tough, I guess... I have a system & it worked well today (except for missing those words, LOL)
Sorry, Dachef, I'm somewhat culturally backwards. I get the association with you, I just wasn't sure what the underlying object was. It looks like a shoe. Who knew? Very high in adorableness.
mab - yeah just like me!! LOL! jera - what system? Care to share?
ni 5/10 = A sheer fabric of silk, rayon, or nylon made in a variety of tight smooth weaves or open lacy patterns.
System? Did someone say system? Does someone have a syestem? what system? please do share system. I wouldn't know about your adorableness factor, but I take your word for it.
let's pretend I have no idea what A sheer fabric of silk, rayon, or nylon made in a variety of tight smooth weaves or open lacy patterns might be.
Joel!
First I look for fun, then move from top left to bottom right... then I make a chart of the second letter hints, see if anything pops from that... then I get down to business with the big ones, then the 4's... the 5's & 6's are usually what I have left at the end... it's rather silly now that I lay it all out, LOL!
don't start!
mab-- you didn't know the south park guy. don't Joel! me!
joelgee ni5 - "the end of the world is ****", drop the last two letters and add the french word for no.
Ok. Sounds like a french woman's name. Add a french no to your ni.
Ah... then you realize that google is your friend... that's why I give such precise definitions straight from dictionary.com...
dachef-- that's what I'm talkin' about!
I prefer googling precise definitions rather than figuring out the complicated phonetic clues... (but that's just me)
maybe i have a bad attitude, but I'm falling over here and I need five more words.
Careful there, Joel, nothing to have a cerebral event over -- I didn't know either. You just crack me up. Ya killin me, pal.
anyways, Im going to bed (its 2:15am here). Thanx to all the clue givers, once again. All being well you can help me again tomorrow!
Bon soir da.
mab-- tut. If I'm going to have a cerebral event, it's going to be over something way more important than this.
I saw people asking for clues to eo 6 /18 and en 6 /21...were any clues posted?
'nite, dachef. Later.
For me, it's easier & quicker to copy & paste a definition into the google box than figure out clues, especially as multicultural as we are... I don't seem to think on the same wavelength... I will look back after finding a word & realize... Ohhh! That's what they meant! LOL
Of, relating to, or constituting an e** (singular of an e4)
You never know when your number's up Joel. The grim reaper is a fickle puzzler. Not to be morbid. Not at all. May I have a clue for po7. I promise to shut up.
That weird little e word that means a long time
jera-- I agree with you most of the time. I enjoy the hunt, tracking down the errant word to its hidden lair, but kinda sick, pretty tired and incredibly obsessive now. Must. Finish. Soon.
Also, some people seem to prefer what they call lateral hints so I go both ways (in that regard anyway).
po7 is like when you use your finger to show where soemthing is... past tense, but with a d in the middle rather than a t...
night, dachef..sleep well...
I understand completely joelgee...
need na4/4, please have the hawaiian looking one

You want na4 unsophisticated (and its plural) Or pl type of Indian bread
Unsophisticated is a 7 point word...
pi 6/24 please...
Thanks Jera.
Howzabout a pa6/21 and if it's the plural of the pa5/12, that would be good too.
You're welcome mab... need anything else?
are leesha or shalee here?
joelgee - it is - do you have it?
pi 6/24 = p + io 5/12
not so much.
It's like the pe4/5 meaning lowly folks, but add an a before the e... pluralize everything you can...
No, thank you. Its such an odd word. I had singular, plural, why not past tense. Must look it up later.....
plural of pa 5 is pa 6
clue for co 6/ 21 please
pa 6/21 is a variation of pe 5/12

for whatever reason, I'm not connecting with the clues for pa5/12. Help.
pa 5 / 12 a father + a long time
add an o to the middle of your pe 4/5 but change the vowels around
working at this on and off all day and only 59 words. i am not so good tonight
got the bad guy, but not the desk basket.plese.
pinecone-- you were killin' me. Now, you have brought me back to life. Amen and hallelujah!!

po 6/24, like pi 6/27, change a letter
thanx annMog
po 6/24 is the plural of the 5/14 and the 7/40 right before it
Temple Owl... po7 is like when you use your finger to show where something is... past tense, but with a d in the middle rather than a t... for the po6 lose the last letter...
ignore my last clue, please - that was horrendous
helenary, do you have the other 6/21? same word but change the last vowel to a plural letter

charm-- hi. long time no see. Sure great to see you. You got a pe5/16?
thanks Joel ~:o)
plural of a three letter word..na 4/4
PE5/16 - flower, looks like a rose.
ask & you receive, JoelGee!
Joel, a type of flower
Charm-- Thou givest greatly. Let's pretend at this point you're talking to a 5-year old who has no concept of flower, let alone roselike flower. My eyes kept looking for the only pe flower I know, but it just doesn't bloom here.
thanks pinecone, I was going the wrong direction **smack!!!**
It's based on the pe4/5 that means a menial/lower person/servant.
Joel, pe 5/16 think small horse but add an e after the p
SONUVABITCH!!! I am going to put a fish to my head and pull the fin!! I don't deserve to babble.
Joel, how about an unskilled laborer +y
It's alive, I tell you. It's alive!
I just found the one I could've sworn wasn't there. Who put that Y in the grid when it wasn't there before? Come on. 'fess up.
Because you kept looking up instead of down! Just as you were taught in deportment class, right????
No. It isn't that I didn't know the flower. I just paid no attention to that stinkin' Y on the bottom row. #$%@$!!
*raises her hand
I'm going over to sit in the corner now. I need a timeout and some grahams and milk.
No grahams. But I can offer oatmeal-raisin cookies and soy milk....
Okay. Clues! You need'em. We got'em. Getcher fresh hot clues here! Going to bed two for one sale.
How is that soy milk? Are they fooling anybody by calling it milk? I like tofu and other soy stuff, but organic skim milk is where I've been drawing the line. And, oh, please pass one of those cookies please.

it's got to be better than the last 12 hours
i truly appreciate all of the help. i'm all in so i;ll just say goodnight - and good luck : O
If you're musical, take Pachelbel's ca5/12 and add a vowel and a consonant to make it ca5/12-like. If you're not musical or religious, your ca5/12 is a really big gun and see above.
okay. I'm taking temple's lead. I'm quite literally babbling. And to all a good night.
Congratulations Temple! Now, about this eo6 --- I keep putting on the ic which is obviously not working. Please advise. Pleeeese.
'Night Joelgee. Rest up.
not ic, use ian

hello
yippee...I just finished Whew! Anyone need a clue before I go?
could I please have help with the opa7/56?? I got the a from a former clue. I know there is a opa6/39 too which I guess is the plural.
pa 6/39 goes at the end of the o word

pa6/39-based on what you give an unconsolable child to comfort him.

MAMA - variant spelling for n-word meaning innocent
