Hard to adjust I would imagine.I retire next July but hubby has 4 more years to go.Then we`ll be trying to sort our lives to no set routine.

Thanks Macadam. Can't spend long on it today I've just retired and have a huge "perk" today - going to see my granddaughter in her nativity play (she plays a rather aggressive Angel Gabriel!)
Enjoy the play.My grandson missed being a shepherd because of his dreadful cough. The second year he`s missed being in the play due to illness. They are always entertaining one way or another.
Hi Everyone!! how are you all tonight?
ooohhhh.... come on!!! It can't be that bad!!?
Good morning, lickery.
Hi Haz and lickety. Looks like it's just us now :)
Yes, and I can't stay for long, unfortunately. Just had to get a look at the grid.
I'm starting at the bottom and I am stuck already. Any hint on the ul6/21?
It's a province of Ireland - also an overcoat
morning all
Hi Dianne ul part of Ireland,an overcoat.
macadam - as usual I was going in the wrong direction. Good thing I don't drive over here ! Thanks for the help.
Hello too to LSAus Haz and Beebee
Anytime Dianne.
Good morning, everyone. Sorry to be leaving again so soon, but will be back in the afternoon. The ul word was easy for me - I live in that part of the province!
See you later Haz.
have a good day haz- c u later
morning licketySplitAUS, I'm playing today and hoping to beat yesterdays score. ha, doubt it'll happen tho! I wish the rankings would be updated tho, I want to see my new score!
Game time with grandson.Back later.
hi beebee.
Any clue for ea5/10 please
Got it Ty all done
i wouldn't mind some clues for the ea 5/10 ha
miametro: if you're having lunch you are an ea***
ohmygosh, how stupid am i? ha. i'm a little quicker today than yesterday tho, so i don't feel too bad :)
mia, have no idea what the word count is... do you know?
glad you got it! weird word to give a clue for!
236 lickety
oh dear!!!
I know, that is exactly what I thought and after yesterday vowed I wouldn't do 200+ ones again but guess what - I couldn't resist.
i've only found 69, lol
better than me!!
has anyone found the nine?
yup it's a tu9
i got that far, a bit stuck after that tho! is it related to the tu 4?
sorry mia, no it's not ralated, it's a medical term that is also called rabbit fever 1st 3 letters are the same as the 4/5
Mia, start with a tu8 word (which is not in the grid) which is a golden, bitter spice used in Indian cookery. Lose one of the Rs from that word, add a LA and noodle a bit : )
Got it from the rabbit fever clue with the aid of google. Hi everyone
Hi Yoink : )
glad it worked Yoink and Hi to you and Anj
Hi Ho : ) Lol, double-headed axe time : D
I'm getting nowhere fast with this grid
Hi Anj and Ho Hum too :)
I found it started very slowly but then picked up in spates, have got to 153 but now have ground to halt
I thought I heard a whistling noise.
HI Macadam : )
Hi Mac :)
Hi Anj.You always have fantastic icons.
Soup dragon calling Yoink.
It's my interpretation of the full moon topic of icons today
Wow thanks Macadam : ) It's babblers fault...she mentioned paintbox and I had to go and play... I think it's a wolf & full moon day today
I`d better change then.I didn`t know the icon for today.
anyone got the ma6/33 and can give a clue please? Hi Macadam
Grandson calling I`d better go.Back later.
ahem!! what was that, Anj??? hmmmm ?
Hi and Bye Ho Hum catch you later.
eeek! Lurker!! ; ) Hi Babs *whistles, changes subject* How are you today?
Bye Mac, Hi Babs! ((x))
*Morning-Tackles Anj*
good morning everyone. Is there a theme for today or is it a free-for-all? It is utterly freezing here! 8 below zero, but beautiful.
HI Anj ((x)), ((( Yoinkxxx))) no, not lurking, literally just logged in and saw my name!! lol! Am about to see if I can get into Paint as I couldn't last night. How are you, Anj? Yoink? I just looked at Jonathon Cainer's site and was about to post something about the full moon..... : )
Simulatneous Eva's!
theme is full moon/wolves . . .
from Jonathon Cainer today: Your diary or calendar will tell you that the Moon is full tomorrow. Technically, that's true but, as it becomes full at 4.16pm GMT (11.16am EST and 9.16am Pacific Time) it will be 'past full' by Thursday night. Heavenly alignments are most powerful just before they 'culminate' so from an astrological point of view, tonight is the night. As Mars is close to the Moon, Venus is shining brightly after sunset... and the Sun is forming a conjunction to Pluto, profundity has priority over pretence. If you're trying to hide the way you feel about something... or someone, you may as well not bother!
*yellow flag on the play* *before the snap!* 10 yards and 1st down : P Hi EvaNadine: D They day wouldn't be complete without you jumping on me lol : D How's your day??
Hi Eva x2 and Une. Good thanks Babs, struggling with this grid though, how are you?
day hasnt even started yet...hehe...only just got to work, not awake yet!
yikes, 236 words..... ! crikey! I'm ok, thanks, Yoink. Oh, you've got the Clangers!! I just recognised them! Good one! :D
lol EvaN - I prescrive coffee : ) Ho - just got the ma6/33 - it's ye olde style type of word meaning perhaps, perchance : )
i think it may be more of a hot chocolate kinda day. ;)
That's good too...with cold hard chocolate it's even better : ) Right, have to scoot now... Xmas shopping calls and if I don't move now, I will be in here for the day : / BBL folks : D
was it something I said? see you later, Anj : Dx
awwww...L8R anj!
Anj, thank you!
thanks anj :)
Good morning all. HOw goes it today? Lotsa words!
has anyone got the of 5/16?
Goooood Mornin'! Brrrrr. It's so dang cold. Pipes froze again. But the computer didn't freeze up ^-^.
Yes. It is like the OF5 word that you want to be there but the last letter is different.
found a bunch of cute icons for today...here #1!
I thought today's theme was full moon. Did that change?
i believe it is full moon + wolves... my icon has a full moon in it -- you may need to refresh. :)
Forget it. Hit refresh and saw full moon in your artwork Evan.
Minski, I thought so too
I like that artwork Evan. Who is the artist?
lemme see if i can find it again...hehe
Got it. I hate refreshing. I feel like I sometimes lose words. Any1 else ever lose words?
annie robinson. here is the link of it full-sized: http:// www.spillerart.com/art/Full%20 Moon(1).jpg (remember to remove spaces!)
er 7/ 32 et 5/ 12 i'm missing these two, and then i will have done the e's!
And a good Vermont morning to you gramma! My condolences re the frozen pipes. Know those well, but last year we did a huge amount of plumbing repair and put a woodstove in the basement and so far so good. Kind of thing one shouldn't say out loud! I do feel like a wood mover these days. You know how the eskimo have so many words for snow? I could write a treatise on the variations in logs.
er7 is a recluse
eva, i love your icon!!!!
Thanks unea! Who better appreciates the full moon? I sometimes feel like going out and howling myself, but the coyotes around here do it so much better. Although they specialize in yipping.
Eva, we put in all new plumbing just last spring. The plumber got too busy and hasn't been back to fix the heat. Kinda sounds like job security to me. New pipes have broken 3x already
Sounds like you need to take him to court to get the plumber's attention. There's no excuse for not finishing a job.
oooooh!!! spoooooooky!!!! :D *refresh*
miametro et5/12 think sticky stuff for parcels
Hey gramma- it's bow hunting season I think - I'd hunt that plumber down. The ones who come and disappear deserve to be eliminated from the gene pool. Of course that would eliminate 90 percent of all carpenters, plumbers, electricians, masons, etc. Not that I'm bittter.
the only sticky things i can think of don't start with e they start with g! lol. glue, tape, adhesive...
Or maybe report him to the better business bureau in your area. Others should know that he doesn't finish his work.
OOOH. don't worry, i got it, lol
exactly miametro.
It's difficult to find good service people in this state. We have a company in town that's logo says ****** plumbing and heating since 1895. I say waiting since 1895.
I'm not doing well on this grid. I think my brain is still asleep. Who has the coffeepot?
It doesn't seem to matter that they don't finish their work. People are so dependent on their expertise that they get away with it over and over again. The only plumbers around here who absolutely do what they say they will are a big firm and they cost an arm and a leg. But they do show up. I have PTSD from the frozen pipes of last winter-it was our heating pipes, not the water, and I still wake in the middle of the night listening for the ticking of the heat registers.
Eva, what's ptsd?
I won't worry Miametro, I'm finished
is it just me, or this one a toughie today?
anyone got the bo 4/7? it's driving me nuts, none of these combinations seem to be words to me!
2 people together is the Bo** of us
It's not just you Evan. It is a toughie today and I really don't have much time to give to it either.
Miametro you and me boxx
HOLYCRAP i am an idiot today!! lol. staring at the letters for so long i guess, makes you a bit loopy after a while.
congrats davetins, could you help me out with pa4/6 that comes after the pa5/12, just cant see it or make the numbers work.
post traumatic stress disorder?
Ho Hum Do you have the Pa4 for stride or walk?
Ho hum it's what you walk on through the park
naptime for baby CUL8R
pa..way hohum
OMG, talk about not seeing the wood for the trees, thanks guys, and someone pass me a very big wet fish please.
-passes ho hum a wet fish- little olive oil, little lemon, that'll taste lovely :)
Only one fish in the puzzle today and it's only a small one
LOL ... as soon as you both posted I looked at the grid and found the lo7 yum yum
i have no idea what that fish is, lol
it's not a fish but does live in the sea, and is v expensive in restaurants
definately not a fish! lol. seafood kids
ho hum da4/6 is the small freshwater fish
does anyone have the lu 4 that's not the musical instrument?
miametro, Jimmy Carter had it in his heart
lu4 -- sexual desire
being bristish, that doesn't mean a lot to me, ha.
miametro, Jimmy or sexual desire?
good morning...(or afternoon) am 5/14 anyone?
a + plural of rodents
any clues for the 8 or 9?
Thanks, eva...I'll work on that...do most of you get your icons by searching in google images?
i usually do...unless theres something in particular i already know of...
PTSD is post-traumatic stress disorder. I think it first became well-known with Vietnam vets returninig home.
Eva, I feel like I'm in a time warp
Eva, keep noticing the good things. It will help. :)
sorry if that was cryptic-it was a very belated response to an earlier question. Just went around the house insluating the electrical outlets. Every little bit helps. But the biggest help is the two huge down comfroters that I can retreat to periodically. This must all seem very odd to those of you from warm climes. Those do still exist, dont they?
its pretty cold here, but from the sound of it, its warmer than where you are!
how bad is the winter in the States so far? Is it unusually bad?
It's usually warmer over here in the banana belt of Vt.
You know I'm not really comlaining about the cold - I didn't think that I was moving to a tropicalk region when I came to Vermont. I love the winter. But it's alwsays a bit of a shock when it really kicks into gear, and it does take a huge amount of one's energy and attention, which is part of what I liek about it. Down to the essentials.
any clues for the 8? i know what you mean about down comforters, very cosy! :)
i dont think its too bad so far... im in MD and it was about 14 degrees F this morning...supposed to get up to about 30. we have had a few inches of snow...supposed to get a "wintry mix" tomorrow...
Sadly, it's not even winter yet
we have snow forecast again next week. it's not unusual for us, but it's been a long time.
The winter here isn't unusually cold so far and it took a long time to begin, which is good in terms of heating costs. This is our first really frigid snap-8 below zero when I got up, but it will warm a bit tomorrow before it snows. We usually get a 2 or 3 week stretch of temps around 20 below.
snow before Christmas, I mean. not snow in general!
Yime to pay bills. YUCCCK!! Back later.
babbler, where about in the uk do you live?
I'm in London, Mia. I just looked in your handbag, you're in Cornwall! Whereabouts? I went to visit last year for a week adn I loved it!
i'm in falmouth, south coast :) we got trapped in the snow a few weeks back, so i'd rather not have any this christmas, lol
I can't see Falmouth on my mousemat picture map of Devon and Cornwall (!! yes, I had to buy one!)........
I'm back, stupid router at work is playing up and kicked me off earlier.
any help with the et's??
wondered where you'd got to, Yoink. Thought you were on lunch or something. :)
Can you see truro? i'm just near there :)
Yes!! I can see Truro! Have you been to St Michael's Mount? I thought it was the most spectacular place. We didnt' go in though.... time etc...
I was after I got kicked off Babb (stopped myself from calling you Babs as the other Babs is around), just got back in
Babs - I just got the et's.. et5/12: e + what you seal wrapping paper with et4/5: e + nervous twitch
heh heh, good thinking, Yoink! Babb it is.
ty babb...sorry to have infringed (unknowingly) on your name...
lol, no worries, Babs! Actually, it's what 'Babbler' has been shortened to by everyone else. I do the same with Evanonut and Evanadine. I keep calling them both Evan.... :D
beautiful icon, btw, Babs.
My name doesn't need shortening as it's not much anyway, but for some reason a lot of people add an "s" on the end
probably cos that's the word in cartoons, "yoinks!"
Not in the Simpsons (where I got it from), it's what someone says when they take something from somebody, it even has it's own entry at urbandictionary.com
oh..... so if I nab a biscuit or something from you, I would say 'yoinks!' ? I thought I'd heard it in a cartoon where someone said yoinks when they were surprised? Not that I remember my old cartoons all that well!
No, you'd say "yoink!"
Babbler- I remember it from scoobydo cartoons
ahaaaa! I kept getting an image of Scooby Doo in my mind! lol! no wonder!
Wasn't that "zoinks"?
anybody feel like helping with da 6 or da 7?
*shrugs*..... dunno! : )
There's a da 6/30 which is a comparative adjective for da4/8
da6 builds on da4 - silly. haven't got the other one yet, sorry
rats, you're right, I'll go back to sleep again then!
what does comparative adjective mean?
Babs, it's not the night hour ...it's the da******
More than - silly , sillier, silliest
Yeah, Urbandictionary has zoinks in as an expression mainly from scooby doo
zoinks rings a bell. wish I could remember these things properly! soooo frustrating!
the da 7 describes the opposite of night.
It's da 7/44
thanks Haz. so all those endings are comparative adjectives?
ty haz, gramma, and babb...don't know how I could have missed those...must be a little da** here!
Silly is the adjective Sillier is the comparative adjective Silliest is the superlative adjective
wow haz..great grammar lesson to boot!
did anyone give any clues for the 8? i'm still stuck, lol
thanks Haz, for taking the time! :D
I studied languages so grammar is engraved on my heart!
Haz, that must've been painful
grammar always went over my head. I'm instinctive with languages, if that's possible....
It was a gradual process! Hours spent over latin verb endings etc.
now THAT would have hurt... eek! I did a year of latin at school, only in the 3rd year. It didn't all go in, but some of it stuck.
Greetings, all! How goes the battle?
I like to think of grammar as being the skeleton of the language - giving it structure and shape.
hi Jera! it's another medium/big grid. I'm at 78, taking a break soon.... how are you?
Hello, Jera. I'm finding this puzzle slower than yesterday for some reason. I don't know what others feel.
you're right, Haz, that's what my Dad said when he helped us with homework.
mia, it builds off the fa5/18 and ends with what looks like a collection of every pluralising vowel going ;)
I so concur with you Haz!!!
I'm glad I'm not alone!
I agree Haz, I'm only on 85 and it's very slow going (though I am supposed to be working and that doesn't help)
*shrugs*.... I just monkey all the time till I hit gold.....
100 words. horray!
And I'm supposed to be writing the rest of those blessed Christmas cards....
good going, mia!
So far so good with me, Haz, but I'm only at 78 words... I do totally agree with you re grammar, though! We're studying Latin here, me & my kids at home... I find etymology fascinating
Good for you, mia.
Real monkey typing would save me time, I'm going to ask santa for a monkey for christmas to play babble for me
about to get back to work, but yesterday's puzzle was very challenging to me..gave up early on! This one was easy to start and now moving verrrry slowly at 116...
I love etymology too. I wish I'd studied it. It's fascinating!
"ends with what looks like a collection of every pluralising vowel going ;)" what?! lol
ah, no, i got it :) thanks!
lol! I was saving that clue for later.... :D
I never made it back last night after a warm-up break, so I have 50-ish words left... just too cold in here late at night...
is it you who doesn't have a heater where your pc is, Jera?
Jera - what method are you using for studying Latin?
Yes, that's me Babbler... no insulation & wiring is crap. used t be a porch & was rather shoddily enclosed. Space heater blows a fuse... so I bundle up & take breaks!
yikes, Jera! Hope you've got thermal clothing and insulated footwear! poor love. : (
We are doing the Minimus book & they are getting a learning Latin through Mythology translating workbook for Yule. The 4 year old is more enthusiastic than the 9 year old sometimes...!
Yes, I got one Yule present early, some warm Lands End booties... heaven! I have poor circulation so my feet are always cold in the Winter...
yoink...great idea for christmas present! monkies would be messy though! have they ever had a monkey icon day?
I hated learning Latin at school, but I'm glad I learnt it now, simply for the etymological uses! I also did ancient Greek - equally useful - but I *loved* that!
BAbs!!!!!!!!!!!! You're a genius!!!!!!!!!!! I declare Monkey Day this week.......... will check my handbag and confirm which one!......
So you're not introducing the joys of declining verbs out loud? We used to do it in class, and although it was boring, I can still rhyme them off 30 plus years later!
Greek is next on my list... I learned the alphabet as a child for fun... weird kid...
Jera...that's great that you're doing Latin for the kiddos...I missed the window and time when mine was open to it..do you homeschool?
great idea Babs, even though I don't ahve pro, it is always fun to see. Babbler - can we have a monkey icon day please?
And a good afternoon to all ye babblers :)
Haven't got that far yet, Haz... still fun stuff... brass tacks over the Summer, I think...
now i really want the two fa 6/30's, and my eyes just aren't seeing any words at all. stupid brain. why is this game so addictive?
Good afternoon, Sprite. It's unusual to see you at this time.
greek is *fun*, though the texts get very same-y after a while! philosophy ... horses ... soldiers ... death ... war ...
any help with the te7s?
I wanted to homeschool, but my Sprite (9 year old girl) is too much of a social butterfly for it. I may have another chance with Gwyd (4 year old boy) especially if he turns out to be autistic... testing tomorrow, weather permitting!
te 7/32 - what you wouldn't want in your house.
already done, Ho Hum! Monkey Day will be this Friday! :D
Hi Haz :) Not on wednesdays it isn't, because I have to work then. I have to leave the house before the new grid gets on, so I can only babble after coming home. Tomorrow the same. Don't you hate it when life gets in the way of babble? ;)
I've managed to get the housework scaled down so that babble can take precedence!
Jera, I copied some full moon stuff from Jonathon Cainer's site earlier today (6.47am). Do you know who he is? A really good UK astrologer. He said tonight is the night!
one te 7 you wouldn't want in your house, but the other...I enjoy anywhere...especially with friends.
Atalante, I wanted to ask you about your name... is it from Atalanta, of Roman mythology by any chance??
hello everyone who's just joined *waves to all* :D
Hi Babbler :) Haz: I will follow your example. Wonder if my boss would mind if I did the same with my job...
I go9t my days wrong, Babbler... tonight it will be cloudy with an ice storm in the wee hours, so we celebrated early, but I forgot it wasn't THE night... no worries, it's a Witch tradition to have a 3 day window for events...
te 7/32 - 'stands the clock at ten to three' te 7/32 - wood insect
no Jera, you didn't get your days wrong..... read the post..... ; )
good morning all! any help w/the last da 7/44?
thanks babs... got the pest one!
Never heard of him, sorry... not to much into astrology per se, just go by moon for rituals & meterological dates... I am a capricorn, so I like precisions (that's about all the astrology I know, LOL)
Nonny - if it's not night, it's da 7/44
fa 6/30?
mind you, come to think of it, there might be some difference between your part of the world and ours, re full moon?
The Full Moon is 11:15 am EST December 15th, which is tomorrow... so last night was a bit early to celebrate... US anyway, could be a bit different in UK & other places...
man... still having trouble with the other te/7
yes, our full moon is tomorrow as well... but it's at its most potent in the hours running up to it..... which is tonight.... ooooooooh! : )
te 7 - appointed hour for beverage
ohhhhhhh
just got satellite radio...now so many options...listening to French music! Anyone else have satellite?
So why, if I can put grease on something again, is Re5 not a word?
'cos thats the sort of grid it is today Sprite!!!
Hm, well... you might have a point there, HoHum :)
and why can't you re **** when you use multiple hand held object to move your cursor on the computer? lol
LOL
Haz, sometimes I just shake my head at myself. The easy ones get right by me. Thanx much.........
anyone figure out the fa 6/30's?? and then I gotta get away from this addicting grid!
Babs - one is a beauty treatment...
One fa6/30 is your fa4/8 with the drink that it is time for in a te7 minus the a
add a vowel to your 1st 5/18 and a consonant to yr 2nd 5/18
Add a vowel to the 5/18 for one, and the other is a beauty treatment.
Morning.
thanks, all! I thought had monkey typed all (alas I guess that's never true) and had looked and looked...and of course they were easy ones!!
Oops, I posted a word... Hi Harpjane
I've been hoping for monkey day--I found the BEST pic!
time for a break........... back later!
Bye Babbler :)
Later, Babbler!
by babb...thanks for doing the icon thing for us!
Has anybody got a clue for the tu9?
If I am afraid to transfer money for my bills, wouldn't you say I had P..F...?
i'm still struggling on the beauty treament one
tu 9 - first letters of a flower, followed by Emergency Room, then anagram of mi 4/6 - the rodent
not followed by emergency room, it's a different vowel
fa 6 - beauty treatment done to fa 4/8
i don't think i've ever had this beauty treatment done then, lol
Tu: 1st 3 letters of a flower, 3 letter verbform of to be, rodent minus last letter.
thank you! 178 words to go (I can quit any time...)
Whoo-hoo!! I remembered of4/9 without looking it up!! Yes, she CAN be taught!!
ha, i'm so stupid. i was keeping the e but there's not one. thanks for your help!
Hooray for Jera!
any clues for the two fe 7/44's?
Fe7/44: prolongation of a tone, chord, or rest beyond its indicated time value (two spellings)
Any clues on the te6/21 please.
fa8?
Fa8: Witty or humorous writings and sayings. Sounds more like eyes of a fly, though.
Thank you sprite!
Te6/21: adj. for Te5/12: rooflike structure of the body, especially the dorsal part of the midbrain
Gotta go warm up with some housework... 105 to go... hope I can get back this afternoon... later!
Sprite and all good morning from Canada....
In case anyone wondered, by the way: the Tu9 is adj for rabbit fever :D Something new in every grid - my everlasting excuse to keep babbling. I love the Hy6/27 for that reason too.
Hi Blaze! Nice icon! Fractal?
sprite, thx for the tu 9 clue, a great one!
Yes it is a fractal... I love those.... it is odd to have you on the chat in my morning time...you are usually here in my night time....
munner long time no see... how are you keeping ??
Blaze, finished radiation treatments this week. Saw oncologist yesterday and don't have to go back for 3 months. Now, that's a Christmas present! How are you?
yw, Munner :) Blaze, I have to work on wednesdays and thursdays, and must leave the house before the new grid appears. So I must babble in my afternoon/evening then :) Nice to see you anytime, by the way.
Great news Munner.... sprite I enjoy you anytime too...
Munner, that's wonderful!
I'm giving up for today, found 110 words and gotten 1312 points, 11 more than yesterday :) onwards and upwards! bye kids
Thanks, Sprite, it's been almost a full year since I started treatment. I'm so blessed!
greetings, moonies.
Nice going, miametro! Hi there hurshy :)
hey sprite. looking at your clues...
Hope they will help you on your way. It's a fun grid, but with some stupid words.
er 7?
Er7: religious recluse. Somehow I thought the word should start with H, but perhaps that is only in Dutch.
er 7/32 er plus vowel plus tiny insect
sprite - i know a 6 letter h-word for recluse, so i'm assuming i have the first 5 letters - what am i supposed to add to that?
thank you!
You need to insert another vowel on 3rd position, and add same vowel in past position.
ooh, ok, haz's and sprite's put together did the trick
afternoon all!
*Last* postion of course ;)
any hints for the 8 or 9?
hello evanadine - is that ballet?
148 words to go. I can start my day now! Thank you all!
Quite a few, evanadine, hi :) If you scroll down a little, you will find many clues for the biggies.
Sprite, thanks for the te5&6, only 25 left to go...
Sprite's clue at 9.40 for tu 9
fa 8/60 builds on fa 5/18. The fa 5 means a side or aspect, add multiple vowels for the 8
Getting close, Ho Hum!
hurshy -- my icon from yesterday was a degas painting...i think you need to refresh to see my new one. :)
yup sprite r's and l's but I bet you are storming through, how may are you up to?
ahhhhhh
DONE>>>>anyone need a clue?
todays puzzle is kicking my keister!
I am done, so just give a yell if you need anything.
got a hint for the 124 words im missing?? hehe
make that 119 words...hehe
evandine...they are all in the grid...all other 124
heh, very useful hint. ;)
Some of them are hiding behind the 5 you just found ;)
Sprite you must burn your keyboard up every day with the speed you type at!
Lol, that's more or less what my kids say when they see me getting started on a grid. But I slow down dramatically when I get near the end. And I usually have to kick myself, for the last ones are almost always very obvious ones.
was gonna go change my icon cause i found 3 others for todays theme, but im really quite happy with this one. :)
I am going down for dinner. Good luck hunting all!
Good morning all -- is today's theme moons? -- thought it was tree toppers!
oh my .... I was whicked away by computer fairies needing to shut down and restart.... etc.... then a coffee and donut with hubby... back again to try to finish the last 75 words... and get fingers on right keys...
good morning cyber nan...
has anyone got a clue for the niner????
wow, it got quiet in here! i think today was gonna be tree-toppers but it all got switched around... now i think tomorrow is tree-toppers. now today is full moons and wolves.
Hello everyone - in for a few minutes....
hi loopy!
Hey speedfreakbionicleman! What happened to the Bionicle???
the t 9 is tu 9/72 almost sounds like the yellow spice from India
Hello Speedfreak Sam - nothing like starting with the big ones! - the tu word goes like this First three letters of a flower Next three letters, I am, you ***, he is Next three letters, almost mouse plural
must dash... be back again later in the day...
Bye Blaze..... Excellent tu clues, thank you all I shall follow blaze -- shutting down this blasted grid until I get some housework done :(
*tackles EvaNadine* heh heh Hi All : )
Has Anj been sent to Coventry?
Hey Anj......I guess topic changed!!! I`m keeping Mavis anyway :o) Just getting a coffee back in a sec :)
I was wondering that, Haz... heh heh :D
Hi lotti! ((((((XXXXXX))))))
Hi Lotti : ) Don't worry Haz, it's one of those grids today : )
Hi Babbler ; ) Hi Torgone - Howling Wolf??
Hi Anj :D how were the shops?
Howlin' Wolf indeed, Anj.
Babbler, decidedly underwhelming. I was checking out the Currys & Comets of the world in search of a smoothie maker and they are all showing signs of excessive Xmas wear & tear lol
yes, know what you mean. there's nothing useful in the shops right now. i'm waiting till after xmas for stuff I'm looking for.
ooooh! Tor!! (((( Tor ))))
Hi Babbler -- see tree toppers have been put off for a day -- like to take part in this theme business, but I intend to stick to Christmas for the next 10 days. Off to the house work, see you all later.

Hi smaller : ) Yup, we're talking comfortable fits here lol
I'm BACK!! My kitchen is clean, my house is swept & mopped, there's a space for the tree in the living room... I'd say I've earned some Babble time!
Hi Jera :)
hi lotti, i empathize with your plight. good ones are difficult to find. and none of them turn back the clock.
Hi Jera : )
Hey babe! (((xx))) Yup, but I know how much you like those ;) Hey sis! Good thanks and you? (((xx)))
LOL Smaller.....if I had the pennies a lift would be in order!!!!
Hi Jera - How did the ceremony go last night? Is it again tonight?
Yeah I`m good Sis.....carry on though, i`ll not have it said that I interupted your quickie!!!!! ;o)
LOL Lo, well sometime speed is better than comfort ; )
OK - I'm back - trying to put in another 10 minutes....
Right, have to dash. See you all later?
Absolutely smashing, smaller... staying in tonight... ice storm starting in the wee hours... heavy cloud cover starting this evening... that's why we celebrated early... this has been the worst year for astronomical sightseeing!
Later Lola!
(((( Lola )))) see you later, honeybunch : )
just popping in once again to say hi. :)
See ya sis ((xx))

Later, lola!

please can anyone give me a clue for AL 5/10
*Anj replays earlier tackle* Hi EvaN : D Jera, I think that might be tBear : )
Jera, think you are confusing me with tbear. I'll be around 'til after xmas :) *lola gives Anj big kiss goodbye*
Ruthy, means to change something ?
Woot! *Anj goes running after Lola*
thanks anj
Sorry, I confuse easily, must have been at the same time you were talking about pictures of your daughter...
(((((Tor))))) hun...are you in the mood to rub??
Any time, Sweetness. *warms oil*
*covers eyes*
You`re my angel !!! :) (((XX)))

Anj...I'll just lurk & chat...you won't know until tomorrow whether or not I actually do anything in the grid!! 8 D
Babs - love your drawing! I see paint is working for you today...me too (had to have system support fix my laptop...)

Hi EvaN : ) Hmmm, that seems to be a recurring theme today lol : D
tackLing, I mean.......... lol, can't type.... :D
im a master of the dodge + run. ;)
was that the THUMP! I heard earlier...I was wondering what that was... poor Anj! I hope you haven't hurt yourself!
awwww, poor Loulou! : (
...nothing that some gatorade, a quick rub and the Cheerleaders (not necessarily in that order..) can't sort out ; )
2 - 4 - 6 - 8 Who do we appreciate? ANJ! ANJ! ANJ! ANJ! Yeeeaaaaahhhh! ANJ!
anj! anj! hes our man!... i was a pom in high school...heh...not the same as cheerleading -- we just danced without the talking..hehe
On that note, 60 to go so I think I should feed my brain before it starts a work to rule : ) BBL

Hi Schroeder!
oops, sorry, hi Schroeder!
I am feeling really challenged today with this grid, is it my head cold or is anyone else feeling this way
I'll second that, Schroeder. The Ts are killing me.... :/
Babbler te6 is a rooflike structure in the body eg in the midbrain
Hi all just popped back for a minute ,be back again in a few .
AC 5 & 6?
thanks macadam : )
My pleasure.I`ll be asking for help very soon.
hi & bye macadam!
do I deserve to open a bottle of beer today? I've done the housework and the washing machine is on.......
Oh my yes Babbler, allow me to open the bottle for you...
ac5 highest playing card add 2 letter thnkyou.
i still have 107 words to find.... the grid's hurting me already.... : / *finds herself accepting beer from Schroeder despite herself* ; )
sometimes it feels like all i do is monkey type and voila!
I find that sometimes beer helps find those missing words, or at least makes you think your finding them better (fine line depending on how many beers)
one more d to find... clue on da7/44?
Thank you macadam!
nvm, got it!
harpjane.da happens from breakfast until evening.
I like your thinking, Schroeder..... ok, I'll open a bottle when I've finished the dratted Ts..... : ( (can't wait!)
Sorry should have said efor
Go Babbler, finish those T's *holds beer as incentive just out of reach*
a hint for te 7/32 (not the antlike things) please.
al 5/10?
awwgorr..... I'm trying to find the te7 all by myself!! I'm close......... *looks at beer longingly*
macadam - afternoon meal in Britain

Hey Schroeder! I'm great thanks...had a german assessment tho' :/ (as you, er, may or may not have figured out thanks to my bed German :/) How are you?
that's teh one that's killing me, walnutchen :/
ta6/21.baby farewell add misspelling of self
Evening Miyavi.
I'm doing well, can't help you with your German. my husbands family all speaks German (I know they are making fun of me all the time I just can't prove it)
(( macadam )))
OOOOOOOOOOOooooooh lovely :)

BABS! *runs across room and launches self into Bab's arms* I'm great thanks, how are you? :)

Getting fed up with my inability to finish this grid otherwise fine thanks.
Miya!!!!!!!!!!!! *HUG* D id the test go well??
*falls over, but doesn't spill beer* Here you go Babbler, you deserve it!!!
*catches Miya, but falls over in heap on the floor* much better, thanks Miya! :D:D:D:D:D what's this test everyone's talking about?
EASTY! *hugs back* Er, test went...interestingly. I refused to believe the German for 'lark' was Larken. Then found out it was. Then thought that this meant German for 'stupid' was Stupiden (I am, as the germans say, doof) :/ How are you?
lol Schroeder!! we both fell over at the same time! must this full moon, awful lot of synchronicities today!
Babs, I had a German test today...sehr poo and whatever's German for MERDE!!! Scheissen
bless you ! (I think) :D
Puts fingers in ears!!!
Miya - I'm good...not doing the puzzle today...too many words to find & too little time to find 'em!!
Blessen youen? The nub and thrust of German seems to be you add -en onto the end of everyword. With Russian it's -sky, and with Italian it's -io. Easyen.
Lol Easty! So you're with us in spirit then? :)
always!! I wanted to check out the upcoming icons too...I've already drawn the next few...
Thanks for the German lesson Miyavi, now I can prove my in laws are talking about me...lol
Ja! :D
...ooh, I'm dead cultured, me

Now, Babs, in English that would be Hoegaard :)
*staring at Babs vacantly*
LOL Miya!!! you're not wrong!
oh right, one of those means please, the other thankyou. but I don't know how to spell them.....
hmmmm....Hoegaarden....one of my favs!!
Topen ofen the-en classen :D actually, class really is just Klassen. Ich mochte Klassenarbeit?! NEIN!!!
Babs, follow your heart lol
*chinks bottles with EB* banana beer! only the best for this little chickpea! :D
Dobrii dyen, comrade M_fan.
zdrasve, Tor!
*staring at Torgone vacantly* ... ja?
Babs - banana??? the stuff we get in the states is more 'vanilla', spice...not too much banana flavour!
*clinks anyway* still tastes great!! 00 \_/
da?
Sorry, I meant "Goodsky daysky."
it's the same stuff, EB, only a group of us christened it banana beer... cos it reminded us of bananas! LOL! (soz, me and my silly friends... :/ )

Ty Babbler, I don't think I deserve one...only have 60 words :(
LOL!!! Banana Beer about to rule the world!! woooo!
Ich mochte Vodka, Morgan, Abend und Nacht!
*Passes bottle to Deustch* (not really banana...but that's how it was christened by Babs & friends...)

Oh my EasternBlue, well down the hatch *where are those words*
Schroeder - I have 0 words & I still took one!
Miyavi! What a thing to say! thanksk for the beer, babbler! Hi everyone!
I mean, thanks, easternblue!
Lol EasternBlue, anytime is a good time for banana beer *said in commercial voice over tone*
Deutsch...Ich bin sehr doof. Ignore me :) In advance, arigatou-gozaimasu. Hai.
Deustch - advance warning for Sunday - icon theme is LIONS...you definitely want to hide your zebra!!
Is there a pa 4 that doesn`t mean bargain or a step?
Thanks for the tip, Eastern! Maybe that won't be zebra-eating lions! Miyavi, I could never ignore you!
Deutsch...you could try lol :D
macadam, I like this pa4 with french bread.....
There's also your speed?
Miyavi, never!
su6/21 anyone, pls? ty
*interupts the bierfest* Hey everyone... can I have a clue for the ta6 (that isn't Japanese floor matting)? .. if it's a plural, I don't have the ta5 either :/ thanks!
Babbler so do I .Thanks.Now I`m left with the dreaded t`s.

Yes sam. It`s another name for rabbit fever.
Hi Sam!
Trishtrash I`m left with 3 words too
lol, macadam, care to swap? ;)
Hey Sam! How was school? :)
please can some one give me a clue for OF 4/9
Ruthy... take a word that means alright (not in the grid) and replace the second consonant.
Ruthy, slang for a white person
school was ok miyavi I'm going to the movies now, see ya every1!
of 4 is of and an old word for yes(minus last letter)
*second letter that happens to *be* a consonant. Sorry, Ruthy
bye sam!
Later Sam, have a good time!
Bye Sam, have fun
have a good time, Sam!!!!
So long Sam.
thank you trishtrash and miyauifan
welcome Ruthy :)
Trish one of my missing words is Ta 5/12 after ankle.
Any clues for the 2 fe 7/44's??? Please
Fe7/44: prolongation of a tone, chord, or rest beyond its indicated time value (two spellings)
fa something u have in abeauty parlour

Thanks Deutsch :) Later Easty!
Got to go.Bye one an all.
Bye macadam!
Later Mac! :)
bye macadam!
fotha should be a word without one as a sperm donor, none of us would be here and if the m were closer, I'd lobby for that too
Well said, Smaller :)
thanks miya, today's grid is annoying
and boft should be a word, as in "the other day Anj and Lola boft in the cuzzi"
This motha agrees with you smaller, I am getting no where fast on this grid, maybe time for a break
thanks schro, and fhac, as in "why the fhac is this grid so difficult"
I would get all ranty, but at the mo I'm doing a quiz - "which member of Dir en Grey's pants would you steal?" dude, come on...you can't be serious during that
HeHe Smaller, I like fhac...that can be the word of the day for this grid
Schro - haha! true. definite word of the day! and lofat - lower in fat that hifat foods you're right maybe a break would be good. ....nah
...incidentally, I would be stealing Kyo's pants...
miya - who's dir en grey?
I am : )
Okay must take quick break, be back later to work on this fhacen grid...
then be careful, anj b/c miya's stealing your pants
Smaller, Dir en Grey are my favourite band! Pretty scary though...enter them into google images and see what you get :/
LOL SCHROEDER!!!
...should be interesting. Isn't this Nude Wednesday??
Hey Anj! :) Who's pants am I stealing? The random quiz said I was stealing Kyo's pants. ...could be dangerous
*reads posts* *it clicks* ooooh...Anj, somehow I can't imagine you as Kyo. Can't think why. I'd guess you were taller than 5'3"!
Miya, i'd stick to Kyo's (as the actress said to the bishop...) :) Now Smaller, tell me of this thing called 'boft' ; )
Miya, 5'9" but I can yell 'AIIEEE!' and do a passable 'Hai!' with all the attendent bunnyhops ; )
*tuts* Anj... ...only if I can have Die and Shinya as well :D
ah, there you go then...we could always chop your legs off? It's Kyo's fault for being so short, I think... ...really shouldn't be that short...
MIya, we need to get you into Final Fantasy...it's probably safer : / LOL : D
We did WHAT in the jacuzzi?!?! :D
Exactly babe : ) ...and I thought we were being discreet ; )
bofting, you sillies. you don't even remember? me thinks there was too much champers
Anj, impossible, I'm too far gone now :) Okay, somehow I made that sound like I was pregnant with Dir en Grey, rather than just being obsessive :/
Hi smaller! Long tiime, no see :) And don't be silly, there is no such thing as too much champers!
Miya, with inspiration perhaps??
what?!
...to far gone...!
too! 2! tu-tu! tew! ah, that's better...
i'm so lost on what you're talking about now. but hello lola! that I got.
Wargh! There's some delivery guy outside who won't take the hint that I'm not answering the door and go.
da7 anyone?
Miya, googled dir en grey. yep very ....interesting
da7 opposite of ni---time
yes...that's one word for 'em. Now look at the smallest guy, the blond one. He's the one who's pants I'm supposedly stealing :D
dsp, no idea. i'm at 104 words and my form of tantrum is currently not working on it b/c the grid is mean today
dsp, comes between dawn and dusk : )
105 now, thanks!
Miya, nothing that a good wedgie couldn't solve : )
thanks anj!
Back again for a bit. ANy help w/ su 6/21?? The r's and s's and t's are pains today...........
What...the delivery men or Kyo's shortness?! I doubt a wedgie would help him grow taller. He'd just reverse-ingest his own underwear.
Has anyone found the of4/9?
woo! new quiz: "which member of Dir en Grey's ass would you grab?" :D
of--pretend you are calling the original King Kong actress, Miss Wray. You might say, "O***"
Plebian, it's O plus Naomi Watts character in King Kong : )
...Ooh...looks like I'm claiming the ass of Daisuke :D
ooo 106, thanks harp miya, he's so little! is he 13 too or is that his max, oompa-loompa height?
Miya, have you been overdoing the chocolate frosted sugar bombs again???
Thanks, just found it and looked up the definition!
Woot! *does the 'all the As are in their cages' dance*
lol smaller! :D
anj, calvins CFSB is never overdosable. like lola's champers
Anj, when have I NOT been overdoing the chocolate frosted sugar bombs? But I'm glad to get Die...no telling what Kyo would do :/ Smaller, he's 29! He's roughly 5'1" to 5'3" :D but makes up for it with scary shoes
Miya, sounds like Casanunda to me : D
*tuts* why, you... you... ...you big...pregnant man!
ha 5/16?
smaller, tell you what, I REALLY miss that strip. It used to reduce me to tears of laughter which isn't bad for a 3 to 4 frame daily cartoon
thanks lola! you knocked up anj?! oh the effects of wanton champers bofting
anj, LOVED all the snowmen scenes! and the one where he flushes himself and yells "Weeeeee!!"
...well whaddya know...Hime by a certain Miyavi has just started up on my iTunes... ; )
*lola packs a suitcase and leaves town....sharp*
LOL lola!!!
*big cheesy grin*
Harp, think of someone who collects straw? ha5/16 Or maybe always calls a greeting?
lola and miya, he must still be in denial.
Good one anj! Now how about hy6?
Lo, moving in already babe?? ; )
Anj, lol! Depends...do I have a drawer yet??
Lola, if you have Depends, you don't need drawers!

ROFLMAO smaller : ' D
i'm feeling ignored and neglected here. no one has any clues for su 6/21?
Woo! A shelf too?? ;) LOL smaller! :D
Sorry Nonny, I don't have those yet. Will yell when I do. I'm working on Harp's hy6 at the mo...
it's like the hernia, but spelled differently
su6/21, rhymes with the guy who opens the door in a posh house.
thanx lola............... now on to the t's...........
Any clues for fa 8/60??? Please
Woot! Harp, take your la4/4, opposite of early, spin it around and put HY on the front : ) Means relating to rainy regions...ie England LOL : D
it's fa5/18 + three vowels
Oh! That one's like the hernia!
harp, the hy is the hernia one or rainy region....
hyngland?
hahaha miya!

LOL Miya : D Ruthy, I have a te7/32...
...I was being serious...

Greetings All! Does anyone have the PA 5/16? Please?
HI Minksi : ) I have a pa5/16 which is the person who hands over the bucks : )
Thanks Anj. Done with the Ps. Moving on. Where to? Haven't decided yet.
...I notice Anj still hasn't admitted to his pregnancy...
need re 6/30. can't find anywhere.....
ta7/32, what you use to record tv programmes and the first three letters of the opposite of short. te5/12, take what you do in a play and put the first letter last and add it to the te.
nonny, put your make-up on again??
...well that does account for my sudden appetite for choc ice & chips I suppose... : /
*pats* being a miracle of modern science is hungry work anyway. I should know...
Nonny Got it! There are some companies that say don't go through the expense of replacing your kitchen cabinets when you can RE 6/30 them for much less money.
nice clues, lola!
Cheers Lo, funny T stoday... : / Lol...I looked for reslap for the R6 : D
lola & minski, good clues BOTH! Thanx. NOW I've got to go and work out for a couple of hours. GROAN!!! Still need to finish the st's and ta's and te's when I get back. See you in a couple

any help today for the Da7???? pls
Yo Babs : ) Hey, have I sent you any Big Sur??
da7 when it's light outside
pbr, it's the bright bit between dawn & dusk : )
Well spank me twice and call me Charlie. I was sure I put that in!
grunt you've sent me 3 so far, Anj...75, Desert Song, Restless. why? will it put me in a good mood?
...note sure :/ Are we a grumpy Babbler then?? Have you been at the Xmas meal early???
why don't any of these words re6/18 to each other???? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr r
Anj and Mary -- darn compound words...thx bunches.
Xmas meal? don't say that. I'm not looking forward to 3pm, Xmas Day..... that's always the time..... just when James Bond starts........ : (
I'll be skipping James Bond this Xmas...I'll be upstairs with the portable DVD player, watching Dir en Grey on the tour of Macabre *^_^* Backstage footage...*drools*
woot! never had that one - cheers Babs : ) y/w pbr : ) Hey, did anyone else see that article today about how traditional turkey & trimmings xmas meals are a cause of the traditional Xmas day family bawling match???
(the crimbo day family barney.....)
The EA-5 cant be that hard - why cant I find it!
Nope, but it stands to reason. One person will have been sweating over the meal, so is watching everyone else at the table like a hawk, lest they DARE get a lump of gristle or leave one of their sprouts...
kelstar - if you chomp your xmas dinner, you are an ea5...
takes all day to cook....... and it's gone in 60 seconds! lol!
LOL - apparently it's something to do with the high concentrations of protein & carbs in the same place at the same time. ...and probably the absence of certain family members on washing-up detail after... lol
Thanks, Babbler
what paper was that in, Anj?
that'll be me...
Daily Mewl...
<-------just finished!!!!
<-------------- applauds
Nice Judi! :)
ah ah ah Judi, I can still see a sprout on your plate ; )
Woo! Well done judierae :)
OH NO~~~~~

your sprout or the puzzle?
both giggle, no, I just planted the sprout
so you binned the puzzle????? lol !
grrrrr...stupid oresama stupid gallery...stupid pictures taking ages to download...
In the interest of sanity, and for macadam, when macadam gets back... Ta 5/12 musical silence Ta 5/12 unspoken Ta 5/10 silver coin Ta 5/12 less wild Ta 5/10 Mongolian invader Ta 5/10 What’s ta***s, eh? What's ta**s precious?? Anyone know the missing Ta5? And can I pluralise it for a Ta6?
yessiree!
ta5/12: A sloping mass of rock debris at the base of a cliff.
so jingle your nose...
ta6: no, can't pluralise. see Lola's clue 3.20 for the ta7, drop last letter
Thanks Babbler! But bah, it didn't help with my missing Ta6. *brightens up* Isn't 'scree' a wonderful word!?
how come the jingle bell pictures are ALWAYS the last to download?! ALWAYS!!!
*calm down*
?
Again, thanks Babbler ... whoo, one to go!
Okay, changing tomorrow. Stupid galleries all closing. Bah. ...humbug
'scuse me?
CAN ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME A CLUE TO THE LAST BUT ONE RE SIX LETTER WORD SO I CAN FINISH

eek! Rush hour... HI Judi : )
nite Miyavi :) hi lola, Deutsch, Babbler and Anj :)
Lola - are you taping Lost?
SORRY LOLA
Doogle? Any one seen Doogle?
Ruthy, if you were to start the stopwatch again... and uh, thanks for my missing word, but mostly folk around here prefer clues to words from the grid :)
Ta7-32 is my nemesis today. Any clues?
babbler, yup! Haven't watched last weeks yet! :D
Haven't seen Doogle for ages. Hope he's OK
Judi, ta plus colourful bits on a flower : )
for ta7 add ta to what you pull off a daisy for "He loves me..."
Judi, Babblers 3.49 post (the second bit) has a good clue for your nemesisisis.
I'm going out to a concert. Should see him there. this is his last big one, so maybe he'll have more time.
judi- the thing you record tv on plus the first three letters of opposite of short :)
lol!! thought you might have been Lo!! I'm taping next weeks at 11. Really want to watch Steve Coogan.... wanna finish the grid!! booo hoooo! : (
Thanks. I never would have gotten that without clues.
Kristinarose, the er7 starts with poetic "before" and goes on to the tiny bugs
I'm done, thanks to Babbler :) Anyone need a clue before I go?
what am i doing wrong? i keep entering the rabbit fever tu9 and it keeps rejecting it . . . is there some weird speling i'm missing?

Change the last letter, unea
ooooooooooohhhhh, thanks!
Babbler, I am going to OD on two episodes of the cowboy this weekend :)
That tricked me for a while, too! LOL gotta run! nite friends!
Pa 4/5, change the last letter to the 'sometimes' vowel
I need to see as much as I can too..... no knowing if I'll get anywhere NEAR the tv next week... : /
: ' (
'sometimes' vowel???? *howls* : '(
I have this urge to ask if I should have described it as the 'sometimes' consonant instead, but I don't want to make anyone's head asplode ;)
Aw, sorry babe :/
trish, makes sense to me : ) Babs, it's the ? that sounds an E on word endings : )
i get that bit......... it's the other blinking letter I can't find!!! boo hoooooo! :'(
Vicuna - still can't get the darn er... I get your clue but can't seem to get it.. Is it spelled differently??
yayyyyyyyyyyyyy! happy again :D:D:D:D
I blame this board, I learned the expression from someone on here *looks at you all sternly*
oh my, can't handle stern stares...... off to unload/load the washing machine........... : /
trishtrash im still an re 6/18 missing can u help
ok, well, the er7 means a hermit, and it's got every letter but the h in it (though with a couple of extra e's.) So, are those the letters you're working with?
One is to narrate or tell The other is like shopping (think therapy), but the last two vowels are switched around
Yay! I'm done :)
Yay! Beat me by 11 babe : ) So, waiting for me in the jacuzzi then??
Okay, I'm gone... Babbler, I didn't mean to chase you off to do laundry, if you could actually *see* the stern stare, you'd just think someone had given me a wedgie ;)
well done lola!
Of course sweetie, but don't be long ;)
Thank you Vicuma... Finally got it...
LOL! 'bye trishtrash :)
Yay, Kristinarose!
oh well done, Lola !!

Well done babe! :) (((xxx)))
cheers : ) pbr, add an e to the preceding fa5/18 then drop on IA in just before the end for the fa8 the other fa6 could mean smile, grin, frown, glare as in fa..... expression : )
...or simply add an L to the 2nd fa5/18 : )
33 words to find.......... 29 mins to film..... : /
Hi guys

What's the minority? Are we in a room full of girls?

I'm back... not sure for how long... how is everyone this cold, cold evening??
Hi Boreetos, Jera : )
Any clues for the last fe 5/18???
Hi Boreetos and Jera
Hi, Jera, COLD! We don't turn on the heat until it's under 65 in the apartment, reckoning that we can last on the residual heat from the other apartments around us. Except, we're on a corner....
hi yoink and anj! and Babbler, and Jera! and everyone else too.
first la5/14 anyone, pls? ty
I'm having a terrible time with the fe 7 ...help?
nvm.. Found it
hi boreetos. you look cute :D
can someone please tell me if there really is an al 4/7 in there?
yes
Jo - fe 7/44 = fe 4/7(before it) - last letter + your partner fe 7/44 - change last letter to vowel
why thank you. :)
fe7 - you know the math guy whose last theorem nobody could prove? add a different vowel to the end of it for each fe7.
la 5/14 - the regular folks in a church, not the clergy
fe 5/18 an embryo that's grown a bit
Go, hurshy, I'm getting 'em as fast as you type 'em in - THANKS!
Thanks Kristina and hurshy. Off I dive into the puzzle. :-)
HInts please for the da6 and da7
keep cranking out the requests and i'll keep cranking out the clues i just finished so i am happy to help out
da6 - more da4 da7 -the sun shines not during the night but during da7
: (..... *pouts*.... didn't get my la5, hurshy...
Help on re6/30, please
hurshy, thanks, found the da6 right before your clue, found the da7 with your help, don't know why I didn't find it myself
Hurshy - can I have a clue for the im 6/21 and 7/32... Please
Well that's me done for now, might be back later to try to make a stab at the last 85
re6/30 - cheaper alternative to getting new kitchen cabinets
ty, Vicuna!
sorry folks my ranking went down and i don't get why so i was distracted
me too.......... might see you later Yoink! 24 left (just got nabbed on MSN.... :/ ) ttfn! :)
im6 if you were a rodent, but not a mouse, and someone mistook you for a mouse, you might be insulted and say, "i'm not a mouse, *'* * ***!" now change the last vowel.
bye for now guys! back to work.
babbler - i put an la5 clue - do you mean you don't understand it?
Thank you Hurshy!!
just got it, had a brainwave. thanks hurshy!! must dash for my film now.... maybe see you later :)
Anj -- thanks for the fa's...on the way home now, gotta drive through 6 inches of the white stuff. hopefully I'll get on line later and do more of the puzzle
yw kristinarose, that's one of my favorite clues ever. :)
bye babbler!
I know I started laughing... and still have a smile on my face
from now on if you want to make me laugh, you just have to say, "if you were a rodent..."
some help with the whole puzzle but would be happy for the ty4/6 or the er7/32
ty 4/6 add a sound people make when they are at a loss for words (like "um" but not "um")
er7 - poetic "before" + mi4 tiny insect
tyvvm hurshy
only 113 more to find and a treet to decorate still......
err, i mean a TREE to decorate.
Decorating treets? But that isn't on my list of things to do at Christmas... I'll have to add it. At least I can stroke off writing cards. THEY'RE DONE!!!
well, i'm a little bummed, so i'd actually consider it a service if you'd all distract me by asking for clues :)
good for you, haz!
take a looky here then: ac6/21 bo5/20 fa6/30 ma6/30 feeling better yet??
What ails thee, fair hurshy?
Any clues for lo 7/36??? Please.. I have 61 words to go and trying to get the big ones out of the way first... Thanks in advance
ac 6/21 turn prev ac 5 into an adj
bo 5/20 add a sometimes-vowel to the bo4 (i know, i know)
each fa 6/30 just adds a letter to the prev fa5
lo 7/36 -- tastes good with melted butter or as a salad!!
ma 6 - possibly (combine the beginning of one ordinary word that means possibly with the end of another)
thanks bbnaz, you're my hero
Need help with last st5/10, please...
WoW... Thank you... I guess if I looked a little harder I could of found it... Thank you again..
oh, haz, somebody hurt my little feelings today
st 5/10, you do this to your car to change direction, now reverse the last two letters
Nevermind, got it!
If you're anything like me, when you're hurt you take a while to get over it. Even if the person apologises, it doesn't take the pain away immediately.
well then i AM like you haz, and this person tends not to apologize, anyway.
So, we'll distract you with our pleas for clues, and you'll feel better eventually, though not for a while.
this is one of those times when i'm glad there are a lot of female babblers, who understand about things like ongoing hurt! :)
hey y'all
hurshy, please??? al5/10 al4/4 an d always remember when people do stupid things or say hurtful words, it is a reflection on them, not on you.
i thought this was tree topper icon day- maybe i was wrong
hey everyone, it's Beebee the Generous
hi all
Hello! I was distracted there going down the word list to refresh my memory of what I had before I begin to find the rest.

bb- what do you mean with no bananas in it- that's the only one i know- orange you glad i didn't say banana- it drives the kids insane and that's always a plus
why don't giraffes need to eat much?
Okay, Haz, just one, but it's cultured, even Knock Knock (let's move on) Who's there? Euripedes. (your turn)
why do they call what women get, PMS?
hey eb
hurshey the ta 6/21 is japanese, it is the straw mat they put on the floor
well what do you know, good instincts me!
cuz Mad Cow DIsease was already taken
Euripedes who?
tyvm hurshey.... must go get warm... may return to work on my karma in a bit... or not!! NIte all!
Look out, Tbug, the beer cans will be FLYING your way!!!!!! Duck and cover!

Stay warm, Jera, it's 13 degrees in Philadelphia!
good luck bb- i'll be thinking of you
haha hurshy, cute giraffe joke
:) thank you tbug
I know she (Miyavi) has a mystical thing about legwear, but I miss the chat during the day at work.
i don't know about "mystical" but she has this game where she substitutes PANTS for some word in every sentence. :)
Hmm, that's interesting! <there's nothing else I can say here that won't be taken the wrong way by someone> :)
so w/ the 'full moon' theme, have there been any bum cheek icons yet today?

Thanks, Hursh, that's what being married to a psychiatrist will get you!
Any clues for the su 6/21?? Please
if i was married to a psychiatrist there'd be no couches in the house! :)
LOL, Tbug!
su 6/21 - rhymes with a male servant that starts with b
Thank you...

never mind- i see it now
Yes, once refreshed you look entirely different.
had to refresh... looks cool beebee!
lovely beebee
thax tbug
thanx to you to hurshy- everytime i see your name i want chocolate-
i'm bad. making hubby put lights on tree......first time in 16 years he has done it. how about any help for the final two ra words? ra4/6 and ra5/16 beebee you are luminous now!
:) i think several people have that problem, beebee. :)
ra4/6 and 5/16 - prob sound the same as each other. use the point values and the fact that they come last alphabetically.
oooohhhh- bb is addicted to babble and is shunning for christmas duties- ;)
oops- her
i am a babble addict and i monkey type shamelessly! and have no idea what those two ra words are....i am about to king kong the keyboard
hints for ac 5/ 12 and ac 6/ 21 please?
bbnaz- take a r** of sunshine, add a vowel. then add another letter for the 5.
what do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in a swiming pool?
i only have 1 4 letter ra word, so i don't think i can help-sorry
jessie - dead?
oo oo I know! BOB
good!
Same guy, hanging on the wall?
how about a guy with no arms and no legs at your door step?
ac 5/12 the highest (or lowest) card in the deck, plus a short way of saying thanks. then add another letter for the 6, making it adjectival.
saffron the beginning of the name of tylenol will get you the first word then add a consonant to the second one so that the end sounds like "everyone"
i forgot the guy at the wall.
if he is on the bottom then is his name Dwayne?
*hurshy getting dizzy amidst all the jokes*
Thanks.
80 words to go and chugging along!
but that reminds me of one. a scientist was experimenting with a frog. he saw that it could jump 5 feet away from where it was put down. then he cut off one of its legs and put it down, and it jumped 4 feet, so he noted that. he cut off a second leg and it jumped 3 feet. after the third leg it jumped 2 feet. then he cut off the last leg. it didn't jump at all. so he noted down, "a frog with no legs is deaf."
i'll be back in awhile- gotta do something with these CRAZY kids. hurshy- if you leave before i get back- hang in there- we love ya
*wipes spit off keyboard* hate to admit that was funny hurshy :)
thanks, beebee. truly, babblers are the most loving people!
oh, but i forgot the most important part. stupid me. every time he put the frog down, he said, "jump, frog, jump!"
without that, it doesn't really make sense. :(
Can someone help me with the 2nd re6/21?
i must be losing my edge.
*hurshy zooms in* re 6/21 to record again
Sorry, Jes, got called away. Guy on wall: ART Guy on floor: MATT <shumbuddy shtop me!>

dang i can't make that re clue work..........
yoink - i know, that one was tough for me too. the re's always are, because various ones that aren't words seem just as legit as ones that are.
what is the website for cheating...where you can type the first 2 letters and get a list of words?
Saffron is it http://www.a2zwordfinder.com/
saffron - you mean a2z? i don't know the full address, i don't use that one. there's another helpful one that i use, www.morewords.com
thanks
I meant it is, not is it
Called away again, I'm baaaacck! Thanks, Tbug, I forgot that one!
Hurshy, I'm all over morewords.com, that's been the most useful site for me. I think a2z puts cookies on my 'puter that keep getting caught by my spyware filters.
Hooray, I've finished, and only 45 minutes after I was wanting to go to bed...
Congrats, Yoink! I was beginning to think I was all alone...
But I must be off to make supper, and live life off the Babble grid for a while. See you all later!
And I'm to bed, goodnight all
congrats and good nite yoink!

Hey Mama, when my hubby was complaining about his boss, my dad offered to run him over. Dad said since he was in his late 70's he could claim confusion over the gas and the brake -- what would they do to an old confused man! :P He might do the same for you!! lol

cake decorating..... yeah - let's bake'em in a cake
Hi All, I'm back for the final 13 words. Does anyone have a clue/hint for ta 6/21 & 7/32?
A cake would be lovely, but only if there are pipe wrenches and welding tools included. I have major plumbing work to do. Back a little later all -- Gotta finish dinner. Fried rice tonight. Mmmmm...
the long, lean lady from foggy london slipped into chi- town unnoticed. it was dark....the film was dark - her glasses were dark....it was a dark moment.... until

Fade in . . . Torgone standing in an El station. Long leather coat; reading a Trib. ren walks by, not looking. Utters " The snow falls in Moscow." - Pauses. From behind the Tribune - "The man with no arms can't handle it." ren boards the eastbound Ell. Torgone pulls a phone from his coat and makes a call. . . .
oh hey babbler, great to see that you finished! :)

fe 7's - an act of holding a musical note, chord, or pause longer than the indicated time value
glad to hear it hurshy. Thanks for the sunshine. Can always use that.
Babbler, thanks for the sunshine
is it me, or why do i get the feeling that whenever I enter the chatlog I start trouble?
the fe7s are the same except last letter. if you don't get the musical clue, but you know mathematical history, the first six letters are a guy whose last theorem has been difficult to prove
It's no trouble at all, Mama. Let us handle it. In our own way . .
*The crow flies at midnight.... Bab's takes the redeye to Chicago...... lands before dawn.... the aeroplane is supersonic.... She fixes her make up and hair before pulling her hat low, and her collar up, so she can slip out of the airport unnoticed. Torgone spies her grab a taxi......*
alrighty then.... i will don my trenchcoat and dark glasses and head off to the parking garage... would love to stay and see how the story emerges, but I guess I'll have to wait and just see who doesn't come in to work tomorrow!!!! Thanks good buddies!!! 10-4 over and out
(pls excuse the typos)

babbler - when do we ever NOT excuse typos? :)

Torgone jumps in seconds after the taxi starts to move. Babbler looks shocked at first, then . .as the memories of Paris and Bemidji come flooding back, she melts into his arms. "Could this be the time we have more than three minutes together?" she wonders . .
good evening -- any help for the fe6's (2)..pls
Was it only three minutes? It seemed like..... forever... *Babs sighs at the memories*...... Whatever happens, we'll always have Paris.....
te 7/32: the little pests in the southern countries that eat wood
1st fe6 - loyalty or allegience shown to anyone
2nd fe6 - concerned with declarations of war and treaties of peace
fe 6/33: fe + Mr. Capone + Mr. Cobb
babbler, pass the tissues....sniff, sob, sob.

Hi everyone -- I haven't been very chatty today -- busy with Christmas preparations and jumpin in and out all day. Down to my last 10 and need a lot of help! su 6/21?
The taxi passes a strip club: Torgone jumps out at the corner, stiffing Babs with the cab fare. She remembers why she couldn't stand to spend more than three minutes with the creep. "Chippendale's!" she barks. . .
su6 - sounds like the servant who answers the door as posh homes. Remove the b and add su
thx for the fe's
mamabear waits for her car to warm up and jumps back in the log to see how "things" are progressing.... wonders if anyone even remembers the names of the shmoes who are causing her grief that Torgone & Babs have promised to rub out. Paris, Bemidji?????? Easily sidetracked, I see..... strip clubs??? Chippendales???? OOHHHH chippendales... what time shall I pick you up, Babs?
Thank you, Doxyflower........... re 5/10 (the one just before record again)
re + baseball glove (minus a t)
I have that one -- it's the next re 5/10 after that I'm looking for.
The taxi driver jumps out of his skin. Babs remembers her ladylike manners. "Chippendale's, please." The taxi driver steps on the gas, spraying Torgone with water from the puddle in the gutter. Babs sheds a sad tear.... it could have been so different.... *slow jazz music, titles, close up on Babs new lipstick..... * Babs meets Mamabear at Chippendales and gets the drinks in!
Mamabear's employers were sent to prison. Ren, Babbler and Torgone reitired to a resort in Alaska, and they all lived happily ever after. The end.
sounds like i'm still working..... i need another chapter to the story....
I really have to go now. :D Tor - we'll always have Paris Mamabear - the snow falls in Moscow Everyone - the sun shines in California for you

anyone need any more clues?
cybernan, there isn't an re6/30 after that one.
Is the fifth re word a re 6/30?
yes, that is the only one worth 30 points.
pa 5/16?
pa5/16 - someone who picks up the bill or tab.
could I have a clue for it please?
pa/16 if i took you out for dinnere i'd pick up the check and be the pa***
re6/30 - re + fa4 (front of head)
pa 5/16: person who gives money for work done or for a purchase
Thanks again doxyflower -- it was a case of the right word in the wrong slot again-- had it written down inthe 5/10 slot, but have now found the rope.
no problem. That's why we are here to help each other.
lu 6/21 (last one), please?
lu 6/21 add letter to prev lu5 for adjectival form
Thanks, Hurshy -- should have guessed that as there's been a lot of that sort of thing in this grid!
a medical term, relating to releasing of ovum
hurshy, are all lu6s based on the lu5?
mab, 1st lu6 means syphilitic
lu 6/24 (first lu)?

night cathyr
can't you change it either way? but you should go pro anyway, it makes you feel so cool. :)
I'm really thinking about it. I like the cool icons.
sorrrrrry -- I thought it was doxyflower -- on a closer look I see that it is a 1 and a v!
ty doxy. Thought I tried that!
no problem, I answer to almost anything
Do you have doxy dogs? Is that why you have the name?
harp -- think of an Indian potentate, change the middle consonant to the sometimes consonant.
I have one, he is 13 years old. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old. And he is very spoiled.
Where are you located, doxy?
sorry, went to get some water. I'm just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.
We should have doxy day sometime!
wait til I go pro. Probably after the first of the year.
lol doxy - that made it sound like you went to get water from Salt Lake :)
High and dry, right? We travel through that area quite often -- whenever we spend our coldest weeks in AZ. We have kids in southern Alberta, so drive straight north on our way home.
ahh...now that i found out how to get an icon i can rest easy...even tho i didn't finish the puzzle...nite all
ewww. Very briny water. Not good for drinking. Used to be really good for swimming.
cybernan, did you come through before we had the olympics here?
Good night Cath -- we will look forward to seeing your profile as well!
Before, after and during the construction phase on the highway!
Our last trip through the area was last April
so you remember the I-15 luge run. I hated driving the freeway during the construction. We had jokes about the state tree being an orange barrel and the state flag an orange construction flag.
Was the man in the hard hat the state animal?
really close. LOL
There's a good harp store in SLC.
what's the name of it?
my 6/33?
Lyon & Healy West. It's the closest place for repairs, although they don't always have a technician available.
my or ma, harpjane?
I mean MA 6/33? Sorry
do you mean ma6/33? mother *** I + ***pen stance
harpjane, where are you from?
ma 6/33: spring month + first three letters of a word meaning cheery
Hamilton Montana, a mere 7 hours on US 93 and I-15.
how cold have you been up there?
Where is Hamilton in relation to Big Fork, Butte or Great FAlls?
We're about 3 hours from Butte or Bigfork, 4 from Great Falls. We're almost in Idaho on US 93. Halfway between Missoula and Salmon. The weather hasn't been bad this week. Last week it was below zero F and it's supposed to do that again next week. It's 27-30 this week. Seems balmy after being below zero!
I guess!! -- we haven't had it anywhere near that cold (around 18F here) and we're complaining!
What's it been like in SLC?
the last two weeks the highs have been in the 20's and if we are lucky low 30's F. I am complaining loudly. I don't like the cold.
ac 6/21? anyone?
mc, add a letter to the end of your ac5
ta 6/21?
like us, doxy, you have the warming influence of a huge lake -- guess we shouldn't wail too loudly.
ta6 - London goodbye (twice) + 12th letter + third vowel.
thanx doxy
a lot of times that huge lake causes worse storms. We get lake effect from storms often. Certain areas get more snow or worse storms.
ta 6/21: ta+ cat or dog (relationship to you) + Mr. Capone
Lake Okanagan is approx. 2 miles wide and 97 miles long -- at times we get some strong winds and severe electrical storms that sweep right up the valley.
cybernan, isn't that a clue for ta 7?
for the ta6, remove the last letter.
So it is -- sorry --- remove the last letter for the ta 6
Where do you live, cyber?
It has been wonderful chatting with you all. I am off for tonight. I enjoy this time and look forward to it. Hope everyone has a good night (or day). See you tomorrow.
good night Doxy1lover (ha!) -- ejoyed chatting with you too.
Kelowna, BC
cybernan, you will have to let me know next time you travel through Salt Lake.
I'm still not getting the last ta 6/21? Or the 5/10 that follows it?
will do -- won't be in 2006 -- going to Europe in June and the budget will only stand so much!
ta + scottish cap + third vowel
ta5 - mongolian invader think of sauce put on fish, remove middle r
ta 6 rhymes with Italian sausage sa_____.
so that should have been the 13th letter, not the 12th.....
oops - forgot to say change the third letter!
sorry brandyjack, I've never been good at numbers
night all.
Hi Brandy -- how's the weather in Ontariario?
night
Good night, doxy -- sleep well!
Cold. got up to -4 today, but down to -15 again tonight. Tomorrow supposed to go up to -1 and stay there. Along with 15cm or so of snow.....
any clue for fa 8/60?
About the same as us -- think we had a high of about -3C today. Always did think the snow should come Christmas morning and leave the next day!
That would be perfect...........
And we can send all the mad skier types off to Alberta or Quebec.....
f8: f 5/18 + first person singular + first 2 vowels
Where do I vote?
thanx cybernan
i've been chatting for at least 1/2 hour -- guess I should bite the bullet and get some Christmas cards done -- see you at the flip.
ciao cybernan.
So who's still here tonight? Or have I missed everyone? Kirsten had a sciatica attack earlier today and had to go to the ER to resolve it -- she's fine, the baby to be is fine -- but Kristianna's routine is screwed up for the day -- I just got her into bed when she should have been there 2 hours ago
Hi Everyone... I'm back for my last 7 but need some help please.... et 5/12
hey, gw - I just logged in to check the stats, haven't started the puzzle yet. Should I bother?
236, ruff - so I wouldn't if I were you
I still have 86 to go and due to the broken routine am pretty sure that I won't make it tonight :)
too late, I just entered the first 25. 90% more to go...
Kristina - if I could help you I would, but I don't have that one yet
Thank you anyways...
LOL, ruff -- the key is the fun anyway :) If you worry about your ranking, then you're up a creek ;D
46 words...making tracks
Aaaah! --Blessed silence as the little one has finally given up crying and has succumbed to the beckoning arms of Morpheus :)
ruff - if you surpass me, I WILL be upset ;D
morning everyone. didn't play today. new i wasn't going to have time & somehow resisted the urge. thought i'd drop by to say hi & see what i missed while waiting for the new grid to start. how was it?
Just got here myself, Ishult -- still have 80+ to go Kristina -- do you have any clues for the 8 or 9?
speaking as one who just started...join me, lshult, in this pain!!
Any clues for the te 7/32 - 1st one te 5/12 - right after the 7 te 6/21 - right after the 5 Please..
Clarification -- just got here tonight (for me), got the others this am after the flip
one of the 8's is the opposite of night-ti**
NO.......I.....Must.....re...s ist..................
you see, I wasn't able to resist. ;)
don't have those either, Kristina -- it looks like its gonna be an a2z night ;)
The 9 is tu 9/72 1.first 3 letters are like a flower 2. I am , you ***, he is - 3 letters 3. mi 4/5 - last letter Good Luck
i am already working this morning & within the next 20 minutes I won't be near the computer, so to start now realy would be futile (as well as stupid)
kris - take your ta6 and add a consonant
Kristen I have a te 7/32 that is the small pest that eats wood and ruins houses.
got the 9, thanks Kristina!
sigh. well, lshult, I'm not so sure that we have sparkling conversation here...
Ishult -- what do you do at work? (if I may ask)
GW- In case you don't alraedy know, I live on a Kibbutz in the south of Israel. I work in the Tourism branch of the Kibbutz. We run a B&B as well as run seminars for groups (on subjects connected to Jewdism/Zionism and/or the desert & surrounding area). I am resposible (as a former cook) for the food side of the buisness.
92 words...getting tougher...
sounds interesting, lshult
Ishult -- I didn't know anything beyond the fact that you live on the kibbutz since that's in your bio -- sounds very interesting -- quite different from the retail grind I am currently trapped in :)
It can be, but as in a few minutes time, when I have to go and make Breakfast for the 7 guests we have this morning, Not always!!!
LOL -- do you have any specialty in your cooking?
suddenly, I'm hungry
so am I, ruff -- with the chaos at home, I haven't eaten my dinner yet --- but I need to decompress on the grid first :) ('sides, I have no idea what I want to make myself :D)
If you are interested to know more, look up "Kibbutz Ketura" on the web and find our site. It tells you absolutely everything about this place. If you follow the links to "Keren Kolot", you can learn more about my work (and even find out what I look like- if you dare!!!).
Thanks, Ishult -- I'll do that!
actually, I just returned from a board meeting...at which we did rather more drinking than eating.
I don't cook much these day, just omelets at breakfast. But I still love to cook at home given the chance (with two kids thst don't like to eat anything it seems futile sometimes). Don't realy have a speciality, although I make a mean Ratatoui.
Have to go now, hear the frying pan calling me. Catch you all later.
So long, lshult :)
bye, lshult!
awfully quiet in here...
pretty late board meeting, wasn't it, ruff?
board meeting for a professional society, so it was scheduled after work hours. everybody had to commute from somewhere-or-other, so we planned on dinner.
Gotcha -- and I agree -- it's very quiet tonight -- guess we missed everybody by arriving so late
It's been a long day, and I'm really tired. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep concentrating on this one.
Then, why don't you go get yourself some food and then some sleep? There will be another grid tomorrow :)
71 words to find...........is it possible?
so, does the holiday season make your retail job worse or better? do you find that you get lots of overtime?
anything's possible, bb
bbnaz -- maybe with a2z, cos the log is dead right now :)
I'm pretty much losing it at this end. how many words do you have so far, gw?
ruff -- 163
well, gw, you may have me beat on this one. I don't think that I'll get to 160+
ruff - Lenscrafter's business dies during Xmas cos glasses don't make good gifts -- but the week after Xmas everyone comes to us to use the flexible spending accounts they didn't touch earlier ;)
that makes sense. they probably have to use the flex accounts by Jan 1, right?
yeah, but I had the advantage on you today, ruff -- you just got here and I was on at the flip -- we'll consider it a handicapped victory :D
I'm handicapped today, all right. worse, even, than my golf hc!
exactly, ruff -- use it or lose it, and eyewear is the most costly item they can purchase that they know they can then return later and thus get their money back
hmm, talk about using the system. I don't have the energy or wiles to do that sort of thing anymore, but I used to be a genius at it when I was in school.
that's it, I'm throwing in the towel at 140. careful, gw - being alone in the chat room could have side effects, like talking to yourself.
I've always been great at finding the holes in the system -- but never do it because I'm too stupidly honest for my own good
lol.
see you in 8 hours, maybe!
140 already! not bad for being handicapped, ruff -- go eat/rest/ recover and don;t worry about me -- grid flips in 30 mins so I'll have company again real soon -- Besides -- bbnaz is still here
Sleep well, ruff (*HUG*)
(hug). 'nite, gw...and any lurkers.
