Right -- Don't have a Philly accent, I guess! Thanks, That finishes me off
Well, that's it for me. G'night all!
last two -- an 7/28 and ar 7/28
Good nite, Hugs
Any clues for an 7/28 and ar 7/28, please?
Back for a quick bit ;)
Nan: An7 tropical American evergreen shrub or small tree (Bixa orellana), having heart-shaped leaves and showy, rose-pink or sometimes white flowers. Also called lipstick tree. Ar7: well, that's the only difference, actually.
thanx sprite - what's worrying is that the lipstick tree word was in the puzzle only a couple of days ago - short term memory obviously ain't what it was :/
hi Sprite : ) thanks! we've had this an7 word before, I remember now.
a couple of days ago? did I play that day?? *tries to remember*.... :/
You've got it all wrong, Chessy. It's just that you expect Babble to be more original and creative in its choosing words, and not to go repeat itself so much :) I am off again, bye dear gang, enjoy both grid and day!
Thank you Sprite ((hugs))... That's me done. 11:30 pm -- think I'll hit the hay at a decent hour for a change. :)
bye sprite - have a good day. btw, happy birthday Mozart :)
bye sprite : )
Good night, everyone :)
Good night, cyber : )

WTG Dal, 21 hrs til the next one!
Wow, that is fantastic! It took me two hours but I still feel good about it. Double Congrats to you!!!!
Bye Lotti
Just means I know how to spell a bunch of words I can't define or pronounce :)
How in the world can you work 2 jobs, take care of a family and find time to Babble too?
2:30 a.m., had nightmares...woke up and decided to Babble to calm my nerves.
Where in Texas do you live? I know so many people moving to your state thanks to wonderful prices on homes.
morning all. any clues for the a's?
Very small town about 30 miles west of Fort Worth. Houses are cheap for now, it's the land that kills ya if you want more than a small lot!
google "lipstick tree"
a words - to make amends - a number build on that definition.
hrm, it says that's not a valid word.
try taking one of the constants and doubling it I found the same thing happened
ah, thamls dalmation
thamls? haha, i meant thanks.
an 4/4 same letters reversed an 7/28 add onto the word before for "lipstick tree" an 4/4 second short word for our second letter site ar 4/6 to curve ar 7/28 spell like an 7/28 at 5/10 ask for forgiveness / (+1) at 6/18 add onto at 5/10 at 5/14 change ending of at 5/10 at 6/18 at + to tear at 8/50 lawyer
Mia, you always have the same pic, is it you?
yes, it is. and thanks for the clues! i found a few in the interim (including the 8, so proud), but your help finished them off for me :)
It's a very nice picture. I am not photogenic! Oh, Dal, your a lovely Kangaroo too!
hehe, you've just reminded me i wanted to change it, but thanks for the compliment :) the new one is me as well, lol
Think I'm gonna "hop" back into bed, see if I can get some sleep. Bye now.

morning guys :) i'm stuck on the ch7.
and the cr 6's lol
sorry can't help, haven't even started yet.
Hi everyone :) Morning mum......girl child off AGAIN today :/
ch7 sounds like the name for the pipe part of a bagpipe but change the last vowel. It also sounds like the person who drones a prayer or hymn often on one note.
Hi Lotti whats wrong this time?
She feels sickly......same thing really. I bet ch7 doesn`t rhyme with Mr. Whitehead!!!!!!lol
Don`t remind me.
cr6/27 a nook or small space. cr6/21 sound like the hole made by an explosion ,change last 2 letters to opposite of off.
thanks! have you got the je 5? it's driving me nuts
Gud mornin....
je5, girls name also a female donkey.
Hi Adsman :)
Morning Adsman.
hey mac & Lotti
Short and sweet today Adsman :)
still waking up Lottie lol
Ads.....bye the time you`re fully awake you`ll have all 71 ;o)
anyone got the no 6/18?
oh, found it :)
no 6 sounds lika a lack of paintings and sculptures.
Well, I`d best be off......lasagne to make, bathroom to clean and my friends daughter to pick up from nursery at 11.30am!!!! Bye everyone :)
See you later Lotti.
C ya Lottie
missing the second to 5/10 and the to 6/18.. grr. only 4 words left to find!
Morning all Mia, the second to5 (if I have the first 2 right) is a measure of weight, and the 6/18 has a letter on the end of that
Hi yoink
last word, ra 6/ 18. it bugs me so much that i can't figure these out on my own, lol
ra6/18, like a word for a share out of food during the world wars except change the i for a t
Morning Yoink.
Hi Adsman and Macadam
Time to go .Bye for now.
c ya mac
Bye Mac
morning all, any clues for ot5/10 ?
It's a bit like the mammal that lives in water, but with a different last vowel
And, morning
thanks yoink
Hi all. Well, that was short and sweet. Just as well, really, as I have a busy day. Happy Babbling, everyone!

Good morning! Any clues for the no5/18?
mickie there is no no5/18
There is a no6/18 which sounds like the absence of paintings
Well, no wonder I couldn't find it! Thanks!
missing 2: the on5/14 and the ya6/24. Any hints?
ya6/24 ext of ya4 above it.
eva if you ya4 then you are a ya6 !!
Good morning evry1. This grid appears to be angry...or at least full of those words.
The ya6/24 is your last ya4/6 with 2 more letters.
Thanks hebbzy! Do you have the on5 too?
guys i'm still trying to get the ar7 and the an7 anyone have any clues please
And mickie
Only 2 to get, please can someone give me a clue to an 7/28 and ar 7/28
eva i do have it but can't think of a clue !!! it sounds like honarary !!
There were a load of good "a" clues given at 02.41 if you scroll back.
hebbzy-the an7 is the dreaded lipstick tree and the ar7 is the same accept for second letter.
hebbzy, you're being ignored for some reason. Oh yeah, I was too lazy to answer. I don't have either :)
Thanks hebbzy! Done.
wey hey for eva, well done
I'm really not totally iliterate-do know the diff between accept and except, except this morning.
Morning gramma. It's a really cold one isn't it?! Haven't ventured out from under the comforters yet, but have to or the stoves will go out completely.
Eva, it's quite chausty out there this am. The dog did what he had to and right back in we came.
hebbzy, did you get those long a's yet?
i'm finally done, thanks eva
TADA for hebbzy!!!! Gramma, never heard "chausty" before.
ok now I can't remember how to spell the lipstick tree. I've tried and it's just not right. Could somebody walk me thru it? an + ? + ? etc.
Eva, I would guess your not from here :D
if you have an4/4 just add tto for the an7/28
Eva, I'm not sure how to spell it. I might have fancied it up a bit. Maybe it's spelled chosty.?
marigold, I thought I had tried that. But, evidently NOT. Thank you. I could have sat here for days obsessing. The grid would change...family would stop coming by or calling...just an old woman sitting in her chair ..mumbling lipstick tree lipstick tree...
y/w gramma
Nope gramma-wha you all call a flatlander, although I have lived in the hills before-but in Western Massachusetts. Just moved to Vermont a bit over a year ago.
so it is a hybrid of chilly and frosty? trying to bone up on my Vermontese here.
Careful w/that " you all " of yours. I'm proud to be a flat lander form the hills of Wisconsin. I had my youngest child here in Vrrrrmont. But, you know what they say..." just 'cuz the cat has her kittens in the oven, ya don't call 'em biscuits, do ya?
Don't get me started on the whole language thing. I love it. You bet cha Mister Dooley! Well, jeezum crow!
gramma -LOL-never heard the kittens in the oven one before-it's great. Now note that I didn't say "y'all". My route has been New York City (childhood-hated it from as early as I can remember), Chicago (college didn't much care for that either), Boston briefly, then the midddle of nowhere in Western Massachusetts for 18 years, then Boston again for a long stint and then here. So I'll never qualify as a true biscuit.
I think that my favorite so far is our postmistress, who instead of cursing says "Oh Mandy!!"
Eva, there are sooo many. My daughter has thought about teaching Vermont to people moving in here. Sort of like ESL; but, VSL.
One of my favorite language riffs are the multiple expressions for shuffling off this mortal coil: circling the drain taking a dirt bath buying the farm
Eva, I have Never heard circling the drain. That's the best!
Off to get some coffee..bbl
bye
I only went to the kitchen:) I bet our Vt.talk is about as welcome as a skunk at a lawn party to those unfortunate people that don't live here.
Good afternoon babblers :-))
hi!
Hi tbear. Don't you look devilishly delicious today.
hi Angel....is that a devil elephant?
almost as good as you gramma.....
don't think so..he just keeps hanging around. (haven't changed my icon in a while...)
Why ty m'dear.
I'm barely on the planet today. Glad it's a short grid too. Today is my daughter's wedding day.
Wow...congrats Angel....what time's the wedding?
4 PM. I think I'm more nervous than she is!
good mornin, babblers!
It'l be wonderful...don't be nervous..enjoy a very special day...it'll be over in a flash so breathe deeply and soak it all up....sorry do I sound like I'm lecturing...you know what I'm saying
Bedazzled!
eva....good choice
icon #1 for today...heh
I must have made a deal w/the devil. Finished! Usually it takes me longer than a wet week. But today went rather quickly.

I'm still in my pjs too. But, I have a full day ahead. so, I'm off like a fircracker on the 4th of July. C ya!
i WISH i were still in my PJs! i have the last of the long boring meeting this afternoon...
c ya gramma.......whooooosh
bye gramma : )
thanks to one of todays grid words, i now have a certain 80s song stuck in my head...heh
ooh! ooh! which one? lemme guess....
Spandau Ballet? ch5/14 No 1 ?
it's not bowies j*** genie.....?
nope...
In the jungle, the quiet jungle, the lion sleeps toniiiiiight? that one?
heh, noooooo
The Smiths? This ch5/16-ing Man?
heh, no, more mainstream than that
brb...... don't give us the answer yet! gotta think..... *Babs concentrates*....
ar's have me stumped.
why isn't nonny a word? hey nonny no and all that?
ar4 the english word for the french A** de Triomphe
my new icon is the Devil's Doorway, Devil's Lake, Wisconsin.
I give up, EvaN, which song?
*sings* 8-6-7-5-3-0-niiiiie eeeeiiiine!!
ok, ive got A7 x2 and a T7 -- any hints for my missing 7 or the 8?
errrrrr dunno that song...do I?
you're gonna have to sue me for the 8, EvaN ;)
ch7
Spandau Ballet would have been the ch7
Une...he's scary
well, i guess id better go find myself a lawyer, eh babbler? ;)
yikes, he scares me too!!
verrrry good, Une! :D
nice, got the 7s and 8 now... i think i can go get my breakfast in peace. :)
DONE...anyone need a clue???
good morning all. I have about 15 minutes to play
Not as many obscure words today are there?
I think I am heading the competition for the most number of 'oops' messages!
that should get you half way, musicmom : ) hi! :)
only a few, musicmom :)
Then I am about there. I have 36 so far...
Good morning all, how goes the grid today? Very small... I'm frightened!
Hey Jera. I'm finding it pretty easy
Did I see you say you went to Girl scouts yesterday? I'm a leader of a Junior troop
That's encouraging... these small ones can be... well, devilish...
Really, musicmom? That's what I have, too! We had a blast last night, got a lot accomplished!
heh! they can, Jera : ) hi! : ) this one isn't so bad....
Terrific. I had just left to help my daughter and one other girl work on their bronze when you posted that.
What year do you have? All mine are first year Juniors, & two total newbies... we have only picked out idea for bronze, no real work yet... what are you guys doing for your project?
What are you working on in GS?
Two encouraging reports, thanks Babbler... I feel better with you here in case I get stuck!
Jera...today is your day for being in the grid..
Last night we earned the Historically Speaking Australia patch & I gave them the China one for homework... we are deciding what country to do for Thinking Day... big decision!
I didn't even notice, tbear... too bad I'm not valid!
Terrific! We are doing Bangladesh for Thinking Day because we have a native in our troop. She and her parents are a huge help
So far we've earned GS in the USA & Art in 3D, Cookies Count & Animal Care are in play, also Girl Scouting Around the World, of course! We are busy beavers!
You sound like us. I have third year J's so the focus has switched a little from badge earning to getting ready for bridging. We hosted the Cookie Kick Off here at the beginning of Jan.
The first two years we averaged 10 badges for 9 month school years as a troop. most of my girls did individual work as well.
Oh that's fun as they get older & more together & do more of the planning for themselves!
Are you familiar with Historically Speaking? They are excellent for exploring other countries... also states, if you are doing SWAPS or pen pal stuff...
Has Jen been around yet today? We might be going to the movies this afternoon...
No doubt! A couple weeks ago we had a "mystery party" where they acted out the parts to solve the whodunit? My co-leader and I ended up visiting in the living room because they really didn't need us and we were more in the way than a help. After the mystery - they played Scattergories. We have a meeting a week from tonight that will be hard work -- lots of Thinking Day prep and presentations from the Bronze candidates.
I've never heard of Historically Speaking. Is there a website? Is it okay to be discussing this here? I'm new - don't want to get anyone in trouble.
Sounds exciting, musicmom! What country are you doing?
We are doing Bangladesh. A fashion show and food sampling. I have a girl who was born there and she and her parents have been incredible.
Oh sure, people fall into conversations all the time, anyone can jump in or out, no problem... here's the addy for the countries page, but there are tons of other patches, fun & earned, even a Daisy Low one! We are earning that for the Mother/Daughter Victorian Tea Party we're hostessing in May! http://www.patchworkde signs.net/patchprogramscountri es.htm
That kinda got garbled... no spaces, all together. Bangladesh sounds exotic! How cool to have a native to keep it authentic!
Thanks! I'll check that out. We are doing an 'Iron Chef" No bake off for the She and Me in May. My girls and a Brownie troop from a neighboring town are doing it for the SU>
Well, all, I only have 29 more words but have to sign off for now. I'll be back this afternoon (EST). Have a great day, afternoon or evening whereever you are.
aaaan 7 and ch 7 are found. need help with the other two.
oops, meant an7.
angel - lipstick tree
ar7 is just about the same word. :)
Nice talking to you, music mom, later!
Yikes, the recurring lipstick tree that I never get...
Well, I'm halfway, time to duck out for BA chart...
omelette for breakfast...yay!
Finished, and it's only just after 2pm!! Now I suppose I'll have to find something else to do.
ta7?
Ta7 -- a place where they make leather or a place where young women get ready for the beach. ;)
Morning all!
mornin jen!
I only have a few more minutes... littlies are off school today so we are getting pictures taken & going to the movies!
hi Jen : )
JEN!! Are we doing the movie thing this afternoon?
{{{ Jera!}}} I am so sorry we can't go to the movie with you! I've got soooooo much to do today! :/
That's okay... I understand... do try & catch it if you can, though, it's really good!
My list is long and seemingly unending! Rent check, bank, Ethan hair cut, return movies, grocery store, laundry, pack....
Pack? Are you going somewhere, hon?
FL
hi xwren, babs, evaN, jera, musicmom, jera, angelsong...
Nice time of year to go... I always get the urge to run away to Australia in February...
Hey there 72TO!
i heard on the news this morning that Air + Space has a new movie showing in the IMAX...supposed to be showing in the DC museum, as well as at the Dulles facility
Greetings, TempleOwl!
mornin TO -- didja get the songs i sent last night?
hi T-Owl! : )
Did you know that if you go to the Dulles annex after 4:30, parking is free? They charge during the day to keep airport traffic out.
yes thanks evaN - are they mp3? and did you get a reply?
yknow, ive never been to the dulles facility... i used to work at NASM for 5 years when i was in school -- i even worked the Dulles groundbreaking... but i havent had a chance yet to make it out there to see the place!
Good tip, Jen... I am pretty lucky with my handicapped tags...
TO -- i think theyre MP3...heh...not so techy-savvy here. i may have gotten a reply -- between sending them + getting error messages about some files being to large or some peoples mailboxes eing full, im not quite sure what i read! hehe
It's pretty cool, obviously not as big as the one downtown. They do have the Enola Gay there, though. And a space shuttle.
They are having some good Girl Scout specials with the Mars mission this spring... we might do some, haven't decided yet...
yeah, that was sorta the idea behind getting a hangar -- at the DC one, they just dont have the room to display the lerger artifacts... in the DC one, they can only display 10-20% of what they actually have. because of the size of the Dulles hangar, now theyre displaying closer to 80%
jen -- do you recall at the Dulles one if they have a bunch of young people in (i think) red shirts working there, called the Explainers?
I don't remember seeing any red shirts, to be honest. Lots of older people (retiree age) acting as docents though.
yeah, we had docents at the DC one too...heh... i was an Explainer in DC -- we worked in just one gallery -- How Things Fly. i thought they expanded the program to Dulles, but maybe not...
hi TO!
Oh brother, the puzzle's screwing up for me (keeps saying 1 min to go... I don't have time for that nonsense... later, people, have fun!
Bye Jera!
I need to get moving as well... I'll try to get back later. See you guys later. :)
bye jen, jera...
heh...the grid never heard of "Watership Down"...otherwise "tharn" would be a word...:)
hey girl!! :D:D:D
Does someone have a clue for the ch7? Please
one who ch5/14s ?
Build on your ch5/14 for the ch7
marigold -- someone who sings...
hi spellit :)
ch7: ch5/14+round vowel+ a consonant

Countdown now to new granddaughter! Six weeks to go...
errrr..... howdya guess?? ;)
bye TO : )
ya like it? i was telling boreetos yesterday that that version is an earlier one...they kept working on the song with each indie album...the "final" version was on their first major-label album. but im partial to the original version, myself. :)
Hi, marigold Hi, everyone else too!
I liked it a lot, EvaN! Listening to Black Rock now...
hi Peri : )
Hi peri hows the knee
marigold, my knee is getting better every day.Swelling is almost all gone.

I do, EvaN! lol! :D
Spellit, Ex-Wren, we have Baby Shower as a theme on 1st Feb as there are a couple of other babies due now/soon. How about we make it to include your new additions too?

Hi just a quick in and out; has anyone heard from Grey Woulf yet?

Did Kirsten go into labor???
Hi EasternBlue, her date was moved up and she was going in today for her c-section
HI all! Did you draw your icon Eastern Blue! That's so funny! And cute!
and who's Kirsten? family? babble person?
hey smaller -kirsten is grey wolfe's wifey...8)
smaller - Kirsten is Woulfie's (Grey Woulf) other half...
thanks Schroe...didn't know that! Hi smaller, Schroe & rennie!! (the gang's all here!!)
OHHH thanks ren and EB, I had no idea. How wonderful for them!
Hi everyone - got the computer back - happy to babble again!
smaller - thanks! I wasn't sure if the lettering would show up...but it sorta does!!
hey eb...your pix is funny!!!! good job!!! a bit of comic relief for such a devilish subject!!!
ren, what is your icon?
Hey Lupe!! (just sneaking in for a quick peak - I'll be back & forth between this & work...so if it takes a moment to respond, I apologize in advance!!)
and tink and lupe are here!!!!hey!!!
Hi Lupe!!! I have 12 words. that's a lot for me lately.
Hi Ren, EB. Got a new 'puter mouse that's driving me bonkers!!! It's out of control.
Hi smaller!
Hi all, don't worry smaller I only have 30 so far
Lupe, is it a wireless mouse? those drive me bonkers
you both have me beat...I have 0 so far!!
I'm a monkey typing fool today (like everyday!)
my mousie is that little bitty purple nubin in the middle of my key board..... and my touch pad....
You'd think so - the thing is wired, but it doesn't have the big ball, it's a little tiny plastic ball, with a laser. I am about to throw it out the window (if my office had one).
ren, that's way too much personal info : ) let's keep it at least PG-13 please
Thats what mine looks like to Renfield!!! When I start hitting keys when trying to use the mouse is when I know it is time to cut my nails....lol
LOL smaller!
lil srho!!! me too!!!
smaller - how about lupe??? she's saying stuff as well!!!
;-)
sorry renny but you had tone. lupe had technical jargon
gee.....golly - i thought i was doing so good today...%}
smaller said a word!!!! hahahahaha
OK - I need a clue for the ta5/7 -- anyone, anyone?
Thanks smaller now I have 31....lol
i still have 12. *desparately searches post for it*
Lupe - there is no Ta5/7
ta 5 = lone ranger's side kick - onlt change the 2nd vowel
There is a TA5/10. Sounds like the Lone Ranger's sidekick.
I meant the 5 and the 7 - sorry..... Thanks ren, got the 5
Anyone have clues for the An7/28 and the Ar7/28?
thnx Judi.
Lupe add the sometimes vowel to your 6
ta 7 place where they cure animal hides.... or it could be a palce where you go toe get a ta* inside a ta***** booth
Sorry Judi, not that far yet
an 7 is a seed/food coloring
Hi folks ! :)
Thanks ren - I feel like such a dufus! My dad worked his entire life in one of those factories!!
Thanks to you too Schroeder!
Hi Bugzy!
Lupe - could you expand on the An7/28 clue a little. I found a seed/food coloring that starts with An, but it's not the one I need.
Hi Bugzy!
Hi, Bugzy.
there are two double consonants in the word. if that helps
first part is a girls name
Hi Lupe & Schroeder & Judi :)
Judi, if you have the a4/4 above it, add a double consonant and a vowel to that
Wow ... it got quiet in here! Was it something I said? ;)
LA LA LA LA that noisy enough for you Bugzy?
Thanks Tbear - I thought I drove everyone away !!
Walked away for sec, but I'm back.....Hi Tbear
Schroeder...your devil is very angellic

hey, mamabear. hope things are going better.
Hi smaller! Hi joey - a minute at a time. I used to do a day at a time, but that's too much these days - a minute at a time is all I can handle!

*poses, in new outfit* whatcha think of this one? i actually quite enjoy salad, so i dont mind it. :)
MAMA - I was furious the other day when I ran out of strawberry jelly! I am still on the kick! You all made me laugh so much that night. I rarely am on at that time, I may have to tune in more often.
he's HOT!!!!!!
heh, he makes me think of the whiny kid devil... "Mooooooooooooooo oooooooom.............hes touching me!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Judi - that an 7 begins with a girl's name, then a double consonant and a vowel at the end.
I am eating it with strawberry jam these days also!!! Yes, we do get kind of punchy/silly at night... I enjoy it!!!!
Judi - An 7 - Lipstick tree Ar 7 - is the same but change 1 letter
Schroeder, I'll pick one up for ya! *writes order for one veggie panini*

AN7 -- lipstick tree. AR7 -- almost identical to lipstick tree
Hi all. Back for a few. I may end up taking a nap before the kids get home. Didn't sleep well last night.
CH7 -- someone who sings TA7 -- a place where leather is made (or a place where young girls go to get ready for the beach!)
All right, I have to ask for help.... what's the 3rd word from the e in the bottom left? I have the bird + the Bronte heroine (almost)? Monkeys are not finding it!!
Hi musicmom....
Hi musicmom!
bugzy -- another along the line of the bronte heroine
one bronte-esque word has the wrong 3rd letter, the other has the wrong 4th letter.
hi musicmom!!
TY Evanadine... I was typing all around it. 4 to go!
lipstick tree..... interesting..... must be kind of like the "rubber plant"!!!! LOL
I thought yesterday was pretty easy but ended up monkeying for the last few words. I think today is easier (shew that was yesterday thought I was going to blow it) but may still have to play around at the end.
to get the lipstick tree, start with a common girls name + double-cross + hoop
got em both eva thanks!
ok I give up what is a lipstick tree
3 to go....
wordlady -- look at the definition for the AN7 and youll know. ;)
well I figured THAT :-)
Okay my turn.... You have 0word(s) left to find
scroll down a few messages for my clue on how to find it
wordlady - paste this in Google: "A tropical American evergreen shrub or small tree (Bixa orellana), having heart-shaped leaves and showy, rose-pink or sometimes white flowers. Also called lipstick tree. "
YEAH SCHROEDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "!*"!*"!*fireworks"!*"!*
Yay Schroeder!!
woo hoo Schroeder! (delayed response due to work stuff!!)
*mwah* ... thank you ...
*Remembers she needs to water her lipstick plant at home*
I'm back! *hands Schroeder a veggie panini* *hands MAMA veggie panini w/o broccoli and with a LARGE pickle* enjoy!
greetings all... gj there Schroeder!

Thank you, Thank you *bows* Can we drink champers without Lola here?
bye wordlady!
Really, mark??? That is a huge compliment from an accomplished musician such as yourself!! Thank you very much!!!!
we can drink whatever we want! and if she shows, we pour her a glass too!
thx...i'm definitely not a poet...just a pianist...
bye Wordlady!!
Any clues for the cr 6/27 and 6/21?
M&M -- look in every nook and CR 6/27
I play the piano too..... but not nearly as well as you Hey, if we're gonna start the champers - I gotta go get my lunch and eat something first so I don't fall off my chair!!! brb!
brb
and if you put a crouton in a crater, youd get the CR 6/21 hehe
mark - never say 'just a pianist'...I would love to be able to play the piano!! that is an art too & HOW you interpret music too...
great clues eva!
Bye mama and mark ... I have glasses ready for you when you get back *Pops cork and pours champers for all*
Mark - what kind of piano do you play? My degree is in Music Ed. My primary instrument was classical piano
*slooowly sips champers while on conference call & still at work...*
thanks lupe -- ive been on a clue roll lately! just call me butter!
Thanks Bugzy - think I'll add some OJ to make a mimosa!
I have such a hard time with giving clues. They get too complicated so I just give up.
Or you could add it to some Guinness for a Black Velvet, Lupe :)
Thanks Bugzy *cheers* Happy Friday all!!
*Clink* Happy Friday, Schroeder :)
help with no6/18 and ra6/18 please
peri - ra 618 - think rodent + plus weighs alot ( _ _ _) I don't have the no 6
no6 - kinda like the absence of paintings, sculptures, etc.
no 6/18 think about an empty gallery, or a fake Monet would be no6/18
Would a velvet Elvis be no6?
Happy Friday Schroe!
Bugzy - NEVER! It is the highest form of art!!
no6 or tacky - either works for me Bugzy!
How about the dogs playing cards.....
LOL :)
*...she stated, dripping with sarcasm...*
BACK!
*secretly pictures what is hanging in EB's living room*
trying to decipher that crouton in a crater clue.....
welcome back mama.....
Schroe - not much...I have limited wall space in my apartment...mostly slanted ceilings!!
And don't forget that singing Billy Bass!! LOL Hi Mamabear :)
thanks for the clues, found the no and ra
EB - I will have to remember that slanted ceiling thing for next time I swing you around... can't lift you very high!
looks like an easy grid today..
Mama - the living room has an enormously high pitch...it's the where 3 of the pix are located!
Hi Tim, not a bad one :)
Hi Tim - It's not too bad, some funky words as always :)
hi tim.....
Hello everyone ...taking lunch break at home, have only a few minutes.
hi Tim!!! looking a little devilish!
Why thank you mama, you too ;-)
*A walk around EB's apartment* 1) Print from her college 2) Print from hubby's college 3) Print from Saratoga Race track (hubby & father go almost every year...) 4) Original 'collage' of sketches of EB's childhood home - done by my parent's friends as a wedding present 5) Print of the Aurora Borealis (hubby is newbie astronomy buff) 6) Lots of pix of family - neices/nephews on various tables, end tables, etc.
Hey all... I'm back...
Hi Tim... Hi Jera...
Hi Jera!!!
EB - you forgot the velvet Elvis and the dogs playing poker..... ;)
Lovely EB, just as I thought it would be... Hi Jera
Hi Jera :)
Bugzy - I'm saving those for when I have a house!! That way, I can put them up in a HIGHLY visible location!! ; )
Like that lamp from A Christmas Story, EB??
Bugzy - exactly!! LOL!! 8 D
EB - sounds like me. I bought my first painting. I totally fell in love with it and was able to convince the artist to give me a break in the price so I could buy it. Well, it's still in the box for "when I get a house." I feel guilty it's not hanging on my wall...
An 7/28 plz
Lupe - I have several framed prints of photos I've purchase over the years (and some I've taken), that are waiting for more wall space!! If I had room, I'd have them hanging!!
I'm back from getting my children shot... no movie today, I'm pooped!! What an ordeal... lucky they are so darn CUTE!!!!! *puts up new icon*
same here - I have a ton of unframed prints.... my apartment is tiny too, I figure I'd let the spiders use the space for exercise.
Jera - I hope you mean they got their pictures taken!! LOL
*casts a worried look around* um, Jera, you had your children SHOT? *whispers to others* perhaps we should call the police??
Jera - you got your children shot?????
Hi, everyone!!!! Seeing as today's theme is devils, I've been a bit sneaky and gone for the Marvel comic book hero, aka Matt Murdock....
HAPPY FRIDAY JERA!!!!! LOL!
Jera - they are adorable!!!!!!
Bugzy - me too! I just logged in and the first thing I read was Jera's post. LOL.
Jera - is that pix from before their execution?? LOL!!
Hi movieman!! Hi Jacula!!
I figured it had to be pics - if she really had them shot she wouldn't be announcing the fact!! I think there are still laws against that in most states!!! LOL
Jera - they WERE cute children...may they R.I.P.....
During, EB! Gwyd did NOT appreciate being told how to hold his hands just so... but she got him to pose surprisingly well...
I believe Jera has gone into hiding!
Hi Movieman! Jera - they are too cute :) *whispers* I feel like getting mine shot sometimes too ;)
Hi Jacula too :)
Hi movieman and jacula.... Jacula how is your little one?
LOL, I figured you guys would assume medical... not that I don't feel sometimes like lining them up with a blindfold & a cigarette...
After receiving an e-mail from my son's teacher this morning, I was planning his shooting for after work today!!
Hi all. Excuse my manners. It was the shock of reading Jera's announcement.:-)
LOL Bugzy!
*fans Jacula worriedly* Sorry for the shock, guys...
Hi Jacula!
Schroe - She's fine. Home now & still sleepy.
Hi Jacula!!!!
Little one ill, Jac?
I'm glad to hear that Jacula :) Lupe does he know his teacher emailed you
I finished the grid in about 30 mins this morning. I'd popped in now to see if there had been any news of GW's new arrival.
Jacula - (((HUGS))) to your little one....
No news yet, we are all kinda waiting to hear. The champagne is chilled......(less the bottle we opened)
Gwyd had to stay home one day this week, he had some tummy flu... it's going around at his school...
No news yet, Jacula... I'm suspecting if we hear anything today it won't be until late tonite after he has gotten Kristianna to bed. I'm sure he will be exhausted!
Mama/EB - My little one had a minor op last night. Nothing to worry about. She'll be fine.
Anyone wanna help someone (i.e. me) who's struggling with the 8? Gracias.....
((((((Jac's little'un))))))))))
Yes Schroeder - he found out after I called him this morning (he's home today) and was scolding him on the phone!! It was a stressful beginning to my day.
Mama - Yes, I'm sure GW will be exhausted. It kind of knocks you for six when a baby is born, even the Dads. A nice kind of exhausted though.
Jacula - glad to hear she's o.k...
movieman - just try and get the 8 out of me!!! go ahead get an at****** and sue me!!!!
Movieman - at8 is a lawyer.
Movieman, I love your icon... I had a crush on Daredevil as a kid... now my daughter loves him too (from the movie, not the comic for her)
Thanx all.....
Has the an7 been hinted about recently??
Jera - are you sure it's Daredevil and not Ben Affleck.....lol
Several times, Jera = google this: "A tropical American evergreen shrub or small tree (Bixa orellana), having heart-shaped leaves and showy, rose-pink or sometimes white flowers. Also called lipstick tree. "
an7/28 - lipstick tree.
mmmmmmmm Ben Affleck....mmmmmmm!
Jacula, I don't get that very common clue, I must not wear the right brand or something...
DONE, the last few words were really easy ones that I had overlooked :)
An7 - begins with the an 4/4 (the girls name) + double consonant and a vowel.
Jera - think An** Karenina + a stuttered 'also'.
Congrats Peri!!!!
good work, peri!!!!!
woo hoo peri!!
congrats peri!
Well done, Peri.
Yay peri !
Well done to peri....!!!!!
What about Ar 7/28?
er7/28 is one letter different to an7/28.

Yes Jera, the doctors moved up Kristens delivery date to today..
no6?
Woo Hoo!! Finished!! no 6/18 think about an empty gallery, or a fake Monet would be no6/18 (from Schroeder earlier)

Hi all - just popping in before going to watch Cat in the Hat movie for the 8th time since Christmas! LOL! Jera very glad the children survived the shoot! They do look gorgeous! Whilst I was reading back in the log 3 of the littlies were in the bath trying to submerge the entire bathroom suite! Shooting would have been too good for them!
hi snowy...
Oh yes... scientific experiments in the bathroom... *shudders*
Hi Snowy!
Hi Snowy...
Hi snowy!
I'm looking into buying a commercial size washer dryer! It could replace the bath & shower - I could just bung 'em all in on a delicates cycle and babble while I waitfor the programme to finish.
17 words left, all 4 letters and 5 letters. I'm off to prepare for the wedding; will try to come back tonight and finish. thanks for the help with clues.
Reminds me of that old Little Rascals episode, snowy, LOL!
later Angel....
Bye Angel - enjoy the wedding :)
Wedding??? What did I miss?
Bye Angel, have fun
Jera, It's my daughter's wedding day.
*hands Angel box of tissues* You may need these later :)
Oh Angelsong have a wonderful day! All good wishes to your daughter & new son in law.
Angel - congratulations on your daughter's wedding...have a wonderful time!!! Here's wishing for sunshine!!
Easy one, but I can't get it!! Ta 5/10 plz!
Oh my, how special!! And you still Babbled beforehand? My mother was a wreck just before my wedding... guess it actually is a good way to relax... have so much fun tonight!!
thanks all! *tissues in hand, Angelsong bows out with a flash of light*
mozel tov angel!!!
nena - sounds like the lone ranger's horse's name.
lone ranger's american indian sidekick's name only replace 1st vowel.
Lupe, LOL, that was his friend, not his horse!
Oooops - my bad - OK - it's not the horse. HAHAHA - OK that was enough to send me into hysterical laughter!
ok, I can't stop laughing. hope no one comes into my office for the next few minutes!
Whoo-hoo!! *happy dance of done-ness*
The worst part is, I don't know the lone ranger, his horse, OR his friend =P
Jera - congrats!
Off to the bank, see ya later
bye schroeder!
What a great day... a wedding... a birth... new beginnings in Babble-land!
*holds out hand for champagne*
Yay Jera ! *pours her a big glass of bubbly*
nena - sound like a spanish word that means "a lot" or "so much"
Bye Schroeder :) nena - it's t + picnic pest + round vowel
*dances around some more, spilling a bit* Huzzah! I haven't finished a puzzle for several days... way too much real life cutting into my Babble time...
Bugzy - for the good of babbleland, I think I should refrain from giving clues.
Bye Schroeder!! Congrats Jera!!
question all - is the "j" ever used today?
now that I have stopped laughing I wonder if neno ever figured out the friend who was not a horse.!
Yes GoBraves -
inge - pls don't get me started again!
Lupe - actually, I was going to give the Spanish clue too :)
ty lupe...or should i say mucho gracias signorita
To be fair, I think the horse was his friend too.... ;)
de nada!
after brokeback mountain, this whole "friend" of the lone ranger thing might have a new meaning
Bugzy - please don't - I'm to the point of tears over here. Someone's going to walk in here with a straight jacket very soon!
LOL GoBraves!
Didn't he have the horse stuffed? Or was that like Gene Autry or someone like that???
LMAO GoBraves!!
what was up with the mask and the hearty hi ho silver and all, ya know....i think we should explore this
I'm pretty sure that was Roy Rogers who had Trigger stuffed.
*turns red as she forces herself not to laugh*
stuffing their horses....ok....more to ponder
TY Munner :) ROFLMAO Go Braves !!!
where were the chicks in all of this....huh? At least Marshall Dillon had Miss Kitty
Well, Hi HO Silver.... Who's the HO?? Silver??
LOL.....there ya go
She must have been edited from the versions I saw I hate that!
Just goes to show there's been crazy stuff happening on the range for a looooong time.....
Yeah....some romantic campfires under the stars...a little peyote....pretty soon the horse looks good
sob sob sob ... I cant seem to get the no6/18 and one of the no4/4....if anyone can take pity on an aged lady please!!!
and I had a dormmate in college nicknamed Silver, cause her mom exclaimed Hiho Silver at her birth.
I think we may all be disturbed to learn the real meaning of the phrase "kimosabe"
no 6/18 think about an empty gallery, or a fake Monet would be no6/18 (from Schroeder earlier)
LOL ! If my kids had been named what I was shouting at their birth, they'd have to get their mouths washed out every time they said their own name!!
lst no 4 and no 6/18 have same first four letters
"Who was that masked man.... "
Can't seem to get the William Tell Overture to stop playing in my mind...
Lupe and inge thank you both ...i will sort it i am sure!!!!
Speaking of which, what kind of guy shoots apples off his kids head with an arrow? I mean really....I think you would go to prison for that now, or at least you would end up on Jerry Springer
I played it safe and used a clue posted earlier - I've learned my lesson!
In this year's Darwin Awards, one of the winners was a guy who, as an initiation rite to a club, tried to have some drunk guy shoot a beer can off his head with an arrow. Arrow went into his head - ( he survived ). I posted it on BA>
Good one bugzy. Sounds very Darwinian, as in "let's see how fit this guy really is to survive". I think Jerry would have loved it, though
Hey, GoBraves, actually, the story goes that Will Tell was forced to shoot the arrow at his kid by the bad guy. After the show, he put a second arrow back away. The bad guy asked him what the second arrow was for and he answered, "If the first one had missed, the second one was for you."
Thanks Vicuna, much more noble that way. Worthy of orchestral composition even, I must say
*drumming the William Tell Overture on her desk with her fingers*
wanna dance to it, bugzy?
I'm not sure I want to be a devil... evening all :)
yeah, why isn't someone using a Duke logo?
Or a picture of Coach K or JJ Redick?
It has a nice beat ... :) Jera was a Blue Devil earlier, before she shot her kids!
Kid shooting right up[there with apple shooting and horse stuffing...we have a whole week's worth of shows now for Jerry!!!
Hi Sherb :) I, of course, am a Sun Devil (even though I didn't go to ASU.) There are those who would say that Coach K or Redick *are* the devil...
Hi Sherb!
yeah, especially those in Chapel Hill and environs
that is a cute little sun devil guy
hi Bugzy and Lupe :D :D GoBraves - thanks for the suggestion... refresh...
allright sherb!!
Hubby lived in Phoenix / Mesa for a while - he's a huge ASU fan... It was either that or the NJ Devils, but since they beat the Wings a couple of years ago, I just couldn't do that. And Duke... no way!
Evening all
evening Yoink :D
Hi Yoink !
Anyone need any hints? I finished earlier at work
Ta 5/10 And not the lone ranger clue plz ^_^
cr6/27? oh and hi all!
Hi Yoink!
nenaluli- you just helped me! thanks for the clue!
every nook and cr**** :)
cr think of apples greenones
hi smaller, you little devil :D cr6 - nook and .......
LOL nena!
Okay I give up. Monkey typing isn't working. Ch 5/14? Clues anyone?
Stuck on the 7's: ar 7/28 and an 7/28
nenaluli, it is t + a4 that is a bit like a word meaning against, except ending with a different vowel
Hi Sherb? How are you?!! thanks for the clues! VERY creative Yvo!
you can have a bart ch*** or a tally ch*** for example
MusicMom, at the eye doctor's it has lots of letters on it.
nena - T + picnic pest + round vowel
hi musicmom - welcome back, and congrats on going Pro :D
Hi Smaller!
Thanks Munner. I have that one. Is there another?
Hi smaller, musicmom, nowherepixie et al !
Thanks Sherb. My family is teasing me but no puzzle can go unfinished:-)
heya! :)
I'm good, smaller... work's over until Monday... you OK?
musicmom, there's another one before it. Witches do 5/14 in Macbeth.
Thanks!
Sherby.. doing dandy!!!! Just started 2 for the Dough. it's sooo funny! I bet you've finished already, huh?!
Hints, please and por favor, for ar 7/28 and an 7/28.
HI Yoink! HI Bugzy!
I love those Evanovich books. I've read up through 5.
Hi all...I was on earlier...got pulled into work stuff...back for abit now...
Munner, both end with the same 5 letters, and end with a vowel
an7/28 - first an4/4 + double consonant & round vowel ar7/28 is the same except for the second letter
HI EB! not fair how work gets in the way.
Welcome back EB ! Now those were very good clues, Lupe ! :)
an 7 - an + pesky bug + _ _ and fro ar 7 - ar + pesky bug + __ and fro
smaller - I'm not far in front of you... about half way through 3 to get deadly... and they do get better...
Hi Eastern!
I agree smaller - don't they realize there are puzzles to finish??
hi EB :D
Thanxs Yoink, Eastern, and Lupe! Perfect clues!
I took a huge risk Bugzy!
sherb - my hubby would be disappointed I'm conversing with a "Dukie".... He's a big Syracuse U. fan!!
Sherb- Yay! This is turning into such a fun addiction Lupe... - we should get a note from Dr. God that Babble is prescribed so we can babble freely at work!! He is a doctor after all
Showing my bf's daughter how to play.
As long as it doesn't involve the Lone Ranger, Lupe, I think you're safe ;)
At which point my boss would hand me a pink slip.
LOL Bugzy!
EB - I need to do some research into this subject... I have no idea what Duke is, lol... I just got the idea from GoBraves... assuming it's a football team?
LOL Sherb - Duke's a university in North Carolina with a basketball team that almost ALWAYS wins!
Which is why many college basketball fans have a seething hatred of Duke :)
sherb - a college in North Carolina...best known for Basketball (as their 'top' sport) although they're pretty good in Lacrosse too...
Hi to Musicmom's BF's Daughter :)
She says hello to you all. She's getting it.
th 5/14?
Hi as well to Siggy's BF's daughter!!
thanks Bugzy and EB... must admit my ignorance on the subject of sports...
Musicmom, th + limb that your hand is on
musicmom - like the ch 5... a _ _ _ _ _ bracelet
thanks yoink!
Thanks EB> Thought I had tried that.
Cr 6/21 and Cr 6/27 plz ^_^
sherb -you're from 'over the pond'....you're allowed!! I couldn't tell you much about cricket (except I think they're something called a chugger??)...
cr6/27 = every nook and cr****
Sherb - hey, I Am a sports fan, but when you all start talking about cricket and football (soccer, whatever), I have to say, I'm clueless!!
cr 6/27 - like the 'green' apples...g **** smith (change to a 'c')
Yay! Thank you! And Cr 6/21 *Blushes*
cr 6/21 - same first 3 letters... + it weighs alot (or it weighs a _ _ _)
cr 6/21 is like what milk comes in except swap 2nd and 3rd letters
*toddles in* yo homies :D
Miya - how are you. I haven't "seen" you in ages! How are you?
*launches at Miya* (((((((((************ HUG**********)))))))))) Hi babe!!
Hi Miyavi :)
*pinned to floor* Easty Easty :D my home girl :D lol Lupe! I'm...super tense, thanks! How are you?
Hi everyone! I'm ready to start the weekend. Just got home from the police academy!

Hey Bugzy! Didn't mean to ignore you for a bit there :/ how are you?! :D
Hi M_Fan!
I'm good! Got my dose of tension this morning - thanks!
lmao Easty...babble wouldn't be babble without it :D Hey Deutsch! How are you this fine day?
Good evening Miyavi, everyone. Mozart's birthday today -- he would be 250 years old had he not tragically died young. I understand he was somewhat devilish, so he somewhat fits the theme.
Hi Deutsch!
Hi mab!
hi MIya :D hi Deutsch :D
Hiya mab!! Hiya Deutsch!! Are you starting a new job???
Felt a little ignored there for a little bit :/ but I'm better now, thanks :)
Hi Mab!
And a fine day it is, Mayavi!
Hi Mab & Deutsch :)

Ah yes, the days, the nights, the long nights at the bar, propping it up, singin' merrily away!!
Hello again have now finished watching the Cat in the Hat for the 8th time and put the littlies to bed - me time is officially started! 28 words to find.
short for J.Lo ?
hiya snowyowl ;o)
hi snowy :D
Snowyowl - I LOVE me time! Finally have both my kids in school full time so I get a little tiny bit of that during the day.
lupe... oh THANK YOU, it was starting to hurt
Hi Snowy!
Hey Snowy! Aww, cute icon XD
Hi all, Finished earlier, just checking in to see if there is any word about GreyWoulf's new baby. But I guess it is still too early.
Hi Peri, how's the knee?
yw smaller..... trying to make amends for the whole lone ranger horse fiasco I caused earlier.
hi peri :D
Hi Bobsta how are you? The propping up the bar sounds good. I can dimly recall it! LOL Musicmom these are my grandchildren had 3 of the 5 since last Tuesday - they go home for the day tomorrow and then get to spend another 2 nights here!
WHOOHOO color me finished!!!! Three days, three puzzles, no blanks!
Congrats Musicmom!
HI, Deutsch, My knee is much better. I am doing my home therapy 4x/day. And it is really helping. Not looking forward to going back to work on 2/1 though.
Yea for musicmom!
Hiya, sherb.
That's good news, Peri, except for the work thing. :)
SO I bet that is even more exhausting than your own. You don't have momentum<G> My kids love to stay with their grands. My husband's parents are terrific for taking them a weekend at a time.
hi Miyavi Fan - long time no see! Where've you been! Missed seeing you about. the icon is from Halloween
good going, musicmom... you're in the Cream of the Crop :D
Yea, once I return to work will not be able to play much Babble :(
Thanks guys! I need to go to the piano and get an hour of practice in before dinner. See you sometime tomorrow. Everyone's home all day - don't know when I'll get to the computer.
They are good fun - but me time is now essential! LOL
Thought so XD I've been...partly lurking, partly air guitaring, pretty much :D
Bye musicmom! have a good weekend!

any clues for the at 5/14
Change the last vowel on your at5/10
Hey all... just checking to say hey... is GW still here?
OOH Christmas twice! Some people get all the luck! We are still in the very long process of decorating the hall - landing & stairs are finished, with5 littlies breezing through here most days, the painting is a long job! Mind you i have found with my husband after 29 years that every do it yourself job takes 6 weeks! Even changing a plug LOL - only 3 to go then.
Hi Jera, Thanks for the clue, Shroeder!
Never mind, just read up to where he left... nice to know all is well!
Schoerder - thanks bunches

Jera -- I'll talk to Kirsten about it --- I know she would love to meet you face to face :)
evandine, I don't
Sorry Evan neither do I
good evening everyone - better late than never...a quiet hour to myself...husband in work and waiting for daughter to come home ...and a "little" grid tonight - although from past experience they can be jut as bad as the biggies
Hi Cathb, the grid isn't to bad just a couple of weird words.
Hi CathB
Hi CATHB long time no see! LOL It's not too bad really but I'm very slow tonight. Mal has put himself to bed as his cold is now 'really bad'!
Hi CathB...
ar 7 please....8)
woulfie - congratulations!
Not too bad, CATHB...
Thanks Temple :)
rennie - do you have the an 7 yet??
any clues for the ja 4/9 and the je 5/24 would be most appreciated
ar7 is the same as the an7 with just the one letter change
Snowy, my littlies are finally all well, an actual window of opportunity for a photo session (as you can see)!
Veruca - je 5 - there was song in the '80's ....867-5309....
veruca - je5 is the shortened form of ms Lopez christian name.
ja4 = An aircraft takeoff aided by an auxiliary jet or rocket.
thanks snowy...as usual...i thought i tried that one....8)
ja 4 - ja + _ _ "and fro"
i'll see you - i just stopped in for your news...i'll get to the store yet! when will u be back?
snowyowl -thanks, and the bonus of a song stuck in my head!
My clever hint flow is not working today...
They are gorgeous Jera! Its nice to get them to sit still for a while isn't it? LOL
Temple -- I told them I would be back on Feb 9, so I will be back for a half week before I drop to weekends only
The portrait lady was very good... Gwyd hates being managed & she posed him rather formally... Sprite helped a lot, too
I love this puzzle but especially today because I've managed to complete it which is VERY rare!! Thanks for all the clues that so many manage to post. Wish I could multi-task that well!
meant that thanks to easternblue

later, Temple! :) Congrats, J40!!!
lwg50 take the first letter off the ch 5/14
later Temple! Cathb - yes all asleep - Mal is now producing pitiful coughing sounds! LOL Do you think a pillow would muffle them?
can anyone throw me a bone for the two "ey"
use the last 2 letters or your er 4/4 for the ey
kakamolaka - ey + a rodent (minus the t)
lol snowy - know the sound well...if you need a hand with the pillow...........
lwg ha4 rhymes with what you do if you've been running very fast
or in my case what you do if you've been running at all ! LOL
my, oh my!! everyone is devilish today... earlier, Jera 'shot' her children...now snowy & cathb are murdering ill husbands!! *hides from the little devils*
how bout the last cr?
Or what a ghost does minus a vowel...
cr - last one... c + rodent + opposite of "off"
thanks Veruca and snowy. Someone came in my office so I had to minimize for a moment. Though at this time of day I feel slow...
thanks
I was thinking the same EB, this theme may not have been such a good idea....
an 7? ar 7?
Be back later, everyone! -- have to go grocery shopping and then visit Mama in hospital again :)
an & ar - very similar... an (or r) + pesky bugs + _ _ & fro
Woulfie - please give our best to Kirsten & kisses to the baby!! ((((HUG))))
Yea! finished! Didn't have time to finish yesterday, so this feels great. Thanks for the help

Someone who does ya4/6
And the first at 6/18 and at5/14
Schroeder, thank you I hadn't gone in that direction - so easy once you've been told and you wonder why you didn't see it in the first place
AT6 =Someone who at 5/10 AT5/14 = change the last letter on your at5/10
MaisieB at6 - thinke of the prouct you use after you cleanse your face that is at**** at5 is a+ the short form of a boys name
lol Maisie, I hate it when that happens :)
ra 6/18 anyone?
Done - Hurrah! Will be around for a bit if anyone needs a clue
See I did it again with the A's I'd got the 5 but didn't add the extra letter for the 6. I think I was looking for something obscure! Anyway all done now thanks for the help. Be back tomorrow.

Congrats MaisieB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you rock snowyowl!!
Congrats Snowy and Masie!!!
Thank you and good night all
tee1104 - okay when you se re 4/4 that means the word starts with re, has four letters and is worth four points
We are here for you Cathb!! Welcome Tee, are you talking about the RA 6/18 clues? It means a word that starts with RA, has 6 letters and is worth 18 points
Thanks so much! Thought that might be it but I wasn't sure.
tee104 chech out the bab annon in the upper right on this page - it will help
welcome tee on the far right of this page is a box headed Friends of Babble, click on the last item in the box - Babblers Anonymous. This site has a stats page which will give you the 1st 2 letters of the words- you can also find out loads about the game and the people who play it. Well worth a visit
to clarify that is babblers anonymous and check not chech LOL
Thanks Veruca - I'll do that.
maybe I'll actually be able to finish an entire puzzle :)..thanks for the help everyone!
Leaving work now.... see you all later!!! ciao!

snowy - cheers..also needed those two

Hi I'm back1 comp;ete with large mug of tea. LOl Cath I thought the banana tea bread ahd cooked quickly - it was because the middle was uncooked! now swapped the economic use of overipe bananas into an xpensive folly!
Yippee...all done...my first one of the new year -well i have only managed to play about 4 times and would never have managed this if it wasnt so small and also with the aid of some great clues).thanks all

Night Cath - speak to you tomorrow xx
Nite Cathb, sleep well
hiya, does anyone have a clue for the no 6/18?
Hi Chic, think of an empty gallery, or if you bought a fake Monet it would be no6/18
Or someone said earlier that a velvet elvis is considered no6/18....lol
thank you, schroeder!
Gotta go, daughters bus hasn't shown up at the school yet so I'm going to pick her up....Have a good weekend all....
bye schroeder - take care
ok - the snoring seems to have stopped! Going to take this chance to get some sleep. Goodnight all & happy babblingxxx
hello all only need one more word can anyone give me a clue for the ar 7/28 pls
ar is same as an
yvo ty so much was driving me nuts
anyone need clues before i go?
youre welcome
how about an/7?
nevermind. got it.
cr5/12?......cr6/21???
got em..
can I get a clue for ha4/5 I have the one that means in danger please
h+ insect
It's an anagram of a th4/5.
I dont have the th one
hey jac, how about a clue for the ch7/36?
got it sorry Tim I didnt see your clue thanks
add 2 letter to the end of ch5/14 - think 'either **'
ty jacula, need 2 more.
Tim - which 2?
cr6/21 ...and no4/4.. thought I had the cr6/21 but was wrong.
cr6/21 sounds like a toasted bread cube you float in soup. Change the 2 vowels after the 'r' for just one (different) vowel.
There are 2 no4/4's - one means 'nothing' and the other is Latin for 'note' (often followed by the word 'bene').
The stats show 3 no4/4s
grerat news and congratsulations to GW and family
Tim - Sorry! You are correct. The first no4/4 is like the 'nothing' word but with a diff. vowel at the end.
Its a boy?
Blaze! You've heard from GW then???
Yes... Sebastian I beleive
I have the 2 that you posted a t 7:43
Tim - see my 7:45 clue - it has to do with 'nine'.
It is in the log way back this afternoon..... 8:22 am 7 lbs 8 oz and 21 inches... they knew it would be a boy....
Got em all. Done and Done ....THANKS....:-)
Thats great...I love newborns
Well done Tim! Blaze - Thanks for that! Must've have missed it. Thanks for passing the news on. CONGRATS TO GW, K & K AND YOUNG SEBASTIAN.xxxxx
Hello All!!!!!
cya tomorrow...bye
might I have clue for the ra 6 please
Hello and goodbye mama.
Hi & bye Tim!!!!! Have a good nite!
ra 6 - a rodent + 2,000 pounds
I'm back!
no more devilbear mama?
Blaze - ra6/18 - sounds like a type of canework used for chairs etc.
Hi Mama & Angelsong.
I changed to an It's a Boy in honor of Sebastian's arrival!!
well I'll be slapped with a wet fish .... i tried that and I thought it did not go in... but lo and behold now it tells me I have already used that word..... do da dumb
hi again jacula!
Good idea - the icon change, Mama. I'll be glad to get rid of 'the red guy' from 'Cow & Chicken' (my icon) as I can't stand him!
REFRESH for new icon in honour of Sebastian's arrival.
yeah....
LOL!!! errrrrr.......... :D
HI ALL
hey cj
At least we're spreading the news, Babbler. LOL.
LOL!! yes indeed! : D *refresh* I just got changed.....
Very nice, Babbler! Very good of you, too. It's like turning up to an event in wearing the same dresses, isn't it? LOL.
Hi CJ.
lol! yes! a major faux pas! :D
ok i must have missed the theme for the day
Not if you both look gorgeous in the dress, Babbler, which we both did.;-)
CJ - it WAS Devils, but seeing as Grey Woulf's son was born today, and he's a good buddy of ours, we have changed our icon to reflect his good news. :D
CJ - the theme for the day was devils (now dragons by UK times) but we're celebrating the new arrival in GreyWoulf's family at the moment.
that's ok then, Jac! :D:D:D
I think I should change - you can't even read the "its a boy" - it's so itsy bitsy
wow.. that must have been a shock for GW.. didn't he join the world earlier than expected?
I see you Mamabear *peers down chat log* (((( huggies!!! )))) :D
cj yes indeed they moved it up by a week,,, or so.... all is well in an much earlier post...
Actually, it was fairly well planned out, CJ.
a week early, CJ, yes.
Mama - The blue tells us it's a boy and that bear is so cute. Please keep him.
what!!! did gw have there baby?
(((((((((((((BABBLER)))))))))) ))))))) How are you sweetie?
but it wasn't a shock, GW knew earlier this week.
Meant to ask - was the post in the log timed 8:22am or is that the time that Seb arrived?
yes shorty!! it's in the log if you want to scroll back. He also got a job today!! A temp-to-perm, so it's good news day today. : )
I am the babbler that started the icon change today... it is so much fun... a new baby needs lots of celebration....
yes shorty - 8:22 am - 7 lb. 8 oz. 21" long - mom & baby are doing fine!!!!
awww thats great!:)
the baby was born 8.22 am GW's time. it's in the log about 9.45pm our time, so about 4.5 hours ago.
i wasnt on here at that time
I'm ok, thanks, Mamabear : ). My sleep is still topsy turvy, so I feel a bit out of sync with the world, but otherwise I'm good. How about you? Better and much recovered? : )
hullo
hey evanonut! : )
hullo to you too
did someone have a baby?
Hi evanonut!!!!!! Sorry about the non-sleep, Babbler - your sleep is so important. I feel like I am finally getting better. Still coughing a bit and sinus congested, but it doesn't hurt to keep my eyes open anymore!
GW's son arrived today!!
Grey Woulfe & Kirsten welcomed Sebastian into the world this am at 8:22, 7 lb. 8 oz. 21 inches - all doing well!
ooooooooh - eez it a boy?
Glad you're on the mend, Mamabear! Good to see you back in the chat log. :D
hmmm - q came up a little slow there
Thanks, Babbler! Good to see you too! I haven't answered your em yet, but I will....
no worries, Mamabear. You just prioritise yourself and get better. :Dxxx
Just tried a little icon experiment with a handwritten greeting for Wolfie and Kirsten & family. REFRESH! Does it work?
Jac... looks great
IT'S FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! bravo, Jac! :D
Very good, Jacula!!!! Can read it just fine!
Glad you can read it! I wrote in in big fat marker pen but had to reduce the pic on scanning. It does seem to have worked though.:-D
Is anyone still working on the grid? I have 9 left..
Can someone give me a defintion for the CH 7? Thanks.
mama I need 4 more
25 left here . . .
STILL HAVE 52 LEFT
he who does the ch 5/14
ch7 - add 2 letter to the end of ch5/14 - think 'either **'
Oh good. I so hate to hunt alone.. gets lonely in the forest.
I have two left ar 7/28 and no 6/18 Any hints would be appreciated
ar7 - one letter different from an7 (the lipstick tree).
Got it!! Thanks all. I just had to look a little harder :)
jac thank you
my daughter had an ultra sound done last week and I swear he looks like his little brother
no6/18 - sounds like dreadul paintings, sculpures etc.
Shorty - the ultrasounds are more like photographs these days, aren't they? When I had my kids back in the 80's the scans were blurry black and white things.
thats for sure
thanks jacula...got them both so I'm finished.
Well done, Tabby.
ahh that's done with now... on to other stuff till grid change over..............
When I was icon shopping I saw a cartoon of a woman lying on the table having an ultrasound, and the doctor said "yes, see there, it is definitely a boy!" - the picture on the screen was a baby holding a tv remote control!
BRB, I've jsut got to hand-wring a jumper as the washing m/c can't seem to get the water out of it.
ain't it the truth
LOL MAMABEAR
I got so angry 2 weeks ago, I took all the remote controls to work with me!!! That got a rise out of him!
LOL Mama. He had to 'rise' to change channels.:-)
And I "forgot" them in my drawer at work for a week.
puzzle done!
Why IS it that men feel the need to keep flicking through the channels? Anyone know?
Well done, Mama.
We have to keep track of everything on every channel, that's why.
I had a feeling Mr. Torgone would defend his gender!
NOTE TO REN (if she's around). I tried to mail you earlier but my main e-mail isn't working again at the moment. Service seems 'intermittent' at best, at present.GRRR!
why, tor?
Torg - but there are hundreds of channels and most of them are rubbish...
There's also the minute chance we might catch a brief glimpse of some boobs or something. Also, we have the attention span of a hummingbird....
LOL, Torg.
hello all. I know its been asked a lot but could I jave the clue for an7/28?? thanks
ROFLMAO, Torg!!!!!!!
awwwwww (((Tor-Tor))))
an7/28 - Think An** Karenina (Tolstoy novel) + a stuttered short 'also'.
thanks Jac
Brief break whilst I go and check on my friend in New Zealand. She's been signing in and out of MSN Messenger like a loony - the little flag's been popping up and down like billy-o on the bottom r'h corner of my screen. Either she's having connection probs or she's trying to get my attention!
second at6/18 and I am done. Help please?
I'm back. She's gone again! LOL.
at6 - what an at8/50 does.
Proper definition is: To agree to remain as a tenant of property after the transfer of its ownership.
beauty jac, thanks. The concept of att..... is not used much here..we say solicitor
interesting
back to the Australian Open now. Womens finals
I know that ATTO is not a word, its a prefix, but that does not stop me from trying each time....
Helenary - so do we!
and one day it just might work, boattierra!!
boatierra - I do the same with 'erse'.
..and "oner"
Was miffed 'nonny' didn't work today. ' Hey, nonny, no' and all that!
Jacula and torgone - LOL
How about "jart"? I still have a jart wound . .
Grid wouldn't accept 'Jera' or 'Ren' either. An outrage, since they're both regulars!
I tried that word at least 5 times, Torg!! Jart wounds take a while to heal. poor guy.
Evening Ladies & Gents. I see you are all agog on the arrival of Sebastion. Or should I say agiggle? :):):) I would like the the second ey 4/6 - whichever it may be. No way to tell if I have first or second. It's my last word. Pleeeaaassseee!
'Jedi' and 'phaser' aren't acceptable either. The Babble dictionary obviously doesn't watch films.:-(
Thanks Mama. Actually it was my own fault; I tried to block a shot . . .
Good evening, Hoot. CONGRATS GRANNY!:-) 2nd ey: The reddish-brown color phase of the jaguarundi. Failing the definition, think authoress Jane Ey** and change the last vowel to a different one.
Ahhhhh, I see - you were playing the tackle version. I hope you were wearing your helmet.
I see the conversation has gone to weird words. Everyone else must be finished. I want to know if the weirdos are Britishisms or just persnickidyisms. A word I know is real is dumped as not a valid word - and a word I know is an acronym or abbreviations is accepted. Any ideas?
congrats on the new arrival, hootowl!!
Helmet???? Um . . .yeah . . . .
Hoot - It is just the perverse way of the Babblegrid.
"persnickidyisms" - I think that is my new favorite word
Good word, that. What would it score?
Well at least your shin gards and ummmmmm *mamabear whispers "cup"*
I don't feel like a grandma! I don't act like a grandma! I think it's all made up!
The latest ad for Pampers (nappies) over here is using the word 'stretchification' and I was actually sad enough to work its Babble score out earlier - a 15/264, I think.
But thank you.
LOL, Hoot!
Gee that would be most of the grid. Lets try it at home and see who gets farthest with it. But it's only 16 (I think) letters. Need 9 more. What do you suggest?
If I remember correctly ( and I rarely do), it was "Death Wish" Jarts, and my injury didn't even rate a full point.
Hoot - I'm 48 now (not far off 49) but when I went to my first school reunion about 3 years ago I was, of course, only 45/46. Quite a few of my fellow 'pupils' wee grandmothers by then, but, one of our number was absent because (now on her 2nd marriage) she had just given birth to twins. God help her! Also, despite being all roughly the same age (only a matter of months or weeks in difference) some had preserved better than others.
I shudder to think how you might have played bocce ball!
*were grandmothers, I meant. LOL. Freudian slip there?
I've noticed that the amount of deterioration is a direct to the number of kids. :):):)
Hoot - you're no doubt right there (so thank God I only have 2 of my own and a sort of 'step' one). You were also right about stretchification being a 16-letter word.
Hello everyone. 5 more to get tonight. I'm stuck on the TA7?
where did Babbler go? *mamabear looks to the right and left..... and peers around the room*
good evening everyone
ta 7 - add the sometimes vowel to the ta 6 above it
ta7 is a place that ta6's work at
hi doxy!! you're all heart!!!!
You mean "Drunken Nude Coed Fast-Pitch Palestinian Rules Flaming" Bocce? I was first string . .
I only have the one and I have a good reason why. There was this cute, tiny girl in my class. I met here about 5-6 years after graduation in a store. She had married right after graduations, had 5 kids, was pregnant again and looked about 60 years old. Excellent argument for birth control.
gee thanks :D
Hoot - I know what you mean. I don't look bad for having had 2 kids though.
Woulf said he'd try to get on after Kristiana was in bed. I'm finished and going to watch Monk. Maybe later.
'Bye Hoot. See you again soon.
THAT was YOU?????? I used to sneak behind the bocce backfield bleachers just to get a glimpse.... who'd of thought one day we'd meet up again.. fate.
Thanks dcseain and mamabear. And thank you Jacula, I just read your icon and realized it was THE announcement I was wondering about!
Have fun Hootowl! Don't forget to wash your hands first (it's required before watching Monk)
Mas - y/w
I might have to take a break. My old football injury is acting up . .
football too? what a jock
Actually it's hemorrhoids; I sat on the bench the whole time . . . .
So, Torg., you have piles of problems? LOL.
Yep. I'm an aggravated a-hole.
Done!
Hi everyone!
WELL DONE, MAS. Torg - Yuk! *Jac cups a hand to hear ear, 'Do I hear the distant sound of celebratory howling?'*
Damn, GW! Your post got in just before mine. LOL.
AAAOooooOOOOOooooooOOOOOOOoooo oOOOWWWW!!!
hey GW, congrats.
Congrats. to your family, GreyWoulf.
wooooooooooooooohawhoooooooooo oooo
Thanks mas and doxy!
That wolf looks mighty proud (but not very grey!).:-)
Muchos congratulados (?) GW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so, give us the stats.... weight , length, etc.
Its actually the dingo I found for Australia day, Jac :D
Doxy - Read my icon! The stats are there.
Doxy -- Jac already did it for me Time -- around 8:22 AM Wgt -- 7 lb 8 oz Lgth -- 21 in
me too me too me too congratulations (again!!!) :D:D:D (just went to get a snack and some tea, Mamabear ;) )
GW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.!!! GREAT BIG NEW BABY HUGS FOR YOU & KIRSTEN & THE NEW BIG SISTER!!!!! Glad to hear everyone is doing well. You must be exhausted.
thanks jacula, couldn't tell what it was you had there at first.
Oh, ok, Babbler.... i was looking around and you was not here!
Yeahm just a bit, Mama -- was up til 12:30 last night, chatting and burning off energy -- then had to be up at 5 to take Kirsten to the hospital for all the preop prep -- so it has been a long day -- glad it is a small grid ;D
awwww, somebody missed me! *bashful* I saw your post, Mamabear : D
Everyone's done (gridwise) here, aren't they? Except Wolfie. We must give him all the help we can.
I'm still working on this one. Worked today.
so does he look like Kristianna? You? Kirsten? Or just himself for now?
Doxy - Don't worry, we'll help you, too.:-)
yup, I'm done, happy to help! : )
doxy -- you will be able to appreciate this -- they had a little difficulty (nothing worth getting concerned about) due to the fact that Kirsten's womb is heart shaped MAMA -- he looks like himself at the moment -- haven't had a chance to really look at him cos they had to keep checking his blood sugar levels until they stabilised
Hoping Wolfie gets his answer in before me, so it doesn't look like I'm interrupting, but... kids seem to go through phases about who they look like or don't look like. Well, it even happens as your life goes on. Have you ever seen yourself unexpectedly, by glancing in a mirror or shop window and seen one of your parents looking back at you? That happened to me in the hairdresser's once, and in my own mirror at home.
A secondary effect of having a healthy pancreas take over from a diabetic one
that is a perfect size for a diabetic mom. I'm glad everything went really well for you two today.
Jac -- I have always looked a dead ringer for my father :) When I was in high school, we used to joke that I should go into his job every now and then so he could get a couple of extra days off
GW: congratulations on your new family! My daughter's wedding was lovely. It's been quite a day.
I don't think there's anything more intensely joyous than seeing your own offspring enter the world and breathe their first breaths. . .
Thanks again, doxy :) Angel -- Glad to hear it!! Congratulations to you as well!!
Congratulations, Angelsong!
congrats to you too angelsong.
GW - A bi-cornuate womb can cause probs., but need not do so with proper obstetric care. Luckily, that care was there for you all.
tor -- you definitely have that right!
congratulations, Angel! :D
How true, Torgone! And how ironic that after all the days of pregnancy and hours of labor, it is the DAD that gets to experience that!!!
And for those of you who haven't read my posts from when I was on earlier -- I have yet another piece of very promising good news ---- I have a new job that I am starting in two weeks!!
Angel - congrats on gaining a son and becoming a Mum-in-Law. Torg - no, nothing's more beautiful than that. I think the Queen song, 'It's A Kind Of Magic' must have been written for that occasion.
GW wonderful news about your job as well!
good luck to you in your new endeavors. I hope this works well for you.
Oh, yes. Sorry, GW, meant to say congrats on new job also.
I will be hired on in a temp to perm position at a battery company -- I need to learn the trade of repairing batteries and battery chargers, once I do and I impress the boss that I am serious and capable, it should be made permanant!
GW- that is wonderful news as well. I came on this afternoon and read your news, but you had just left I was told. I hope it goes well for you, as I am sure it will.
Wolfie - how are you doing with the grid?
when I take the time to look I find the words so I have only 27 to go -- will call for help if I need any ;)
When will Kirsten and Sebastian be able to come home?
Mother and son will be coming home on Tuesday
GW - Good luck in the new job!! Try hard and you'll do okay.
Thanks tor -- I will do my very best -- the only bad part will be that I will have to severelly cutback on my Babbling as it is a M-F 8-5 position -- so my late nights of Babbling are over except for maybe on the weekends -- but I will do my best to at least jump on the log for a little bit -- all depends on Sebastian's schedule :)
and we all know who will determine his schedule, don't we??? :)
I'm in the same boat, GW, usually only stay on late on weekends, because of work during the week. We do what we can do!
Yep! He will!!!!! -- But given a choice between financial security and Babbleing -- we all know what the choice has to be :)
Yep! Until someone pays us to Babble!
Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-changes! Embrace the changes, GW. We all know what's going on. Do what you have to for your family. That is always first priority. Your real friends will be around when you need them.
If we got paid to Babble, we'll all be doing quite well!
Yeah, and if we finish the grid and then stay on longer to chat... that would be OVERTIME!
Anyway, folks, it's time I was a-sleeping. 'See' you all later.xxx
bye jacula
'nite jacula! sleep well & dream deep! mamabear used a wo-ord....mamabear used a wo-ord.... (there I saved you the trouble!)
see you later, Jac! : ) ... and me too, time to go, see you all later for Dragon Day! : )
bye babbler
Exactly tor! On a related note -- being a Witch I cast the runes about my choice (After I had made it) -- The simplest casting is 3 runes: 1st -- where I am -- Movement -- I am in a time of transition 2nd -- what I am experiencing -- Initiation -- I am in the process of undergoing personal tests and transformation 3rd - what the future holds -- Joy -- I will enter a time of positive energies and happiness Talk about having an outside source affirm your decisions!
G'nite Jac and Babbler!!! (*HUGS*)
g'nite Babbler (((((((((((BABBLER))))))))))) I hope you sleep well and dream sweet dreams... tomorrow is dragon day? hmmmm.... bear dragons... gonna be tough
later mistress!!!! nite babbler!!!
finished.
cheers for doxy!!!!
Ya-hoota-hey Doxy!!
Big Day for you, GW! I've been reading the log. I'm glad everything is going well!
Thanks harp!
thanks everyone, am going for now. See you all later.
g'nite doxy!
help with the on and ot, please? Yayyy for doxy! See you tomorrow! (*Hug*)
ot - a seal like mammal (spelled wrong)
ot + what you put on roads
on - as on*** as a mule, that's how stubborn he was!!!
Thanks!
Could I get a clue for any of the at words? Just to get me started! Thanks.
Nice dragon, doxy!
first at 5/10 - he felt guilty of his sins and felt he had to at*** for them
at 6/18 - someone who at 5/10's the next at 5 - same as the first at 5, but change the last vowel to the sometimes vowel
Put an A in front of several of the TO words. There are also a couple of ATT words. Good luck.
I could tell you what the at 8/50 word is, but nah, I think you'll have to get an at****** and sue me!
OT 5 - A fragrant essential oil or perfume obtained from flowers (alternate spelling).
OK, Thanks! I have all the AT's now!
And I am done!
way to go wolfie!!!!
I am gonna go now -- the neighbors still want me to stop by and update them -- then I will go to sleep -- have a long weekend ahead of me finally finishing the furniture rearranging to accomodate the bassinet and all in my bedroom :)
that finishes the grid for me.
I will check in tomorrow night -- may be at the flip later depending on how long I stay next door ;) (*Hugs to all*) And thank you all for all your support and well wishes!!
later wolfie....8) way to go angel!!!!
good nite, GW!! Sleep well ..... give Kirsten my love tomorrow when you see her, and *kiss on the cheek* for baby Sebastian! *hugs to you*
hello everyone... bye Wolf!
hey niamh!!
hi Niamh!!!!
Wolfie: Did Sebastian arrive?
JoJo - Sebastian was born this morning at 8:22am, 7 lbs. 8 oz., 21 inches long. all doing well
very exciting!!
Sweet!! I finished. 'Nites!!
Mama: Thanks. I just logged on, so was trying to find out if he is here. Yahoo!!! **hugs & kisses** to Wolfie.
JoJo - GW just went to visit with his neighbors - he might be back at the flip.
I found my dragon for tomorrow... REFRESH
mamabear... That's Elliot!!! I love him
Mama: Will wait. Wolfie is an icon of babble.
JoJo - he MIGHT be back, he said, depending on how long he visited with neighbors. Otherwise, he said he would pop in sometime tomorrow.
i'm working on my dragon...8)
He was always one of my favorites as my kids were growing up, too!!
nobody wanted to be devils today?
Mama: If he isn't back at the flip, that is OK. His family comes first.
We were all devils during the day, then switched to "it's a boy" icons for GW.. now that he left, I switched to tomorrow's theme.
ah.. I see that makes sense!
I suppose most of you are done?
yes, I am done - I think a few are still hunting.
JoJo - yes, I just didn't want you waiting around in case he doesn't come back..
Nia: HA HA HA! I just started, I am, of course in this weird place, Seattle.
well congratulations.... and I don't suppose you would mind helping me with a couple of clues? I need the an 7/28 and the ar 7/28?? please?
I'm in Seattle too JoJo... well Kent (it's close)
everything going alright with you Mama?
Nia: Actually, I am east of Renton, close to Issaquah.
I'm not done, 28 to go. I left at 5:30 this morning, drove four hours for a three hour meeting, then drove four hours home, then played harp at a gig, then started the puzzle....
that's a nice area out there JoJo... lots of large properties
What is tomorrow's theme? Think I"ll go back to devil, for a while.
that's an awful long drive harp... I'm sorry
dragon's harp
Nia: Yep, we have an acre and a half. However, we are about 3 miles from the slide down on the Cedar river. That doesn't make us very comfortable either. Where in Kent? I have a sister in Kent.
At least it was a good meeting! And nice weather!
Covington
ta 5/10?
Nia: Not far from us. We work out at Renton Athletic club, which is on your hill. Our insurance pays for my husband's, and I only pay $16 for club dues if I go between 10-4. So, it works for us.
harp ta 5 - the lone ranger's sidekick - change the 1st vowel
ty ren
I'm sorry.. my computer took a siesta... an 7 - first 4 letters are a girl's name - then double cross consonant and 4th vowel at the end. the other ar 7 is the same only with an r
YEAH I AM DONE
way to go shorty!!!!
good job shorty! I didn't know you were still here!
yep just busy looking for words Thank You
just 3 to go...th 5/14, anyone?
