I know, sorry and all that!
Whats going on with all these small grids? does anyone know
Hi, dudes....
hey movie man
It's all random, and small ain't necessarily easy. In the time I have been babbling the smallest grid was approx 40 words and the biggest I think I've seen was about 350. Hi movieman
I think the smaller ones are the hardest..
... so true !!
Hi guys! : )
hi lola : )
hi lola!
Hi Sis, good to see you. I see from the log it's all happening round at macadams today!
Hey Lola!
Hi adsman! Shouldn't you be listening down someones phone?! lol : D Hi atalante! : ) Hey sis! Yeah, and I bet the favourite daughter has been invited over to watch! } ( ...lol! Hey punster! Long time, no see! how you keeping?? : )
Punster, I see you've gone for Bender as well...... He seems to be the most popular Futurama character.....
Ah how do you know im not lola Lol...... If only we could the stories im sure I could tell
Hi movieman! I did think about being Leela but I liked this one of Bender : )
Pretty good Lola. I have seen you on occasion, though you always leave before I can say hi.
adsman, as a child I lived on a farm and we had a telephone exchange, so you could pick up the phone and listen in on the conversations. It was a favourite pastime of mine and VERY educational...lol!
Hi lola...... yes, I happen to think that Bender is a lot cooler than that meatbag, Fry......
I had trouble finding pics that looked good as an icon - this is the first I found that did.
movieman, LOL! punster, I'm sorry! I hate it when 'real' life calls me away from my beloved babble (how sad do I sound? lol!)
I bet it bet it was Lola ; ) We dont get to have that kind of fun just get shouted at a lot
Ne'ermind, its nice to talk to you now ;-)
adsman, thanks for yr eq clue from earlier, just realised I was missing that word and wouldn't have got it otherwise.
adsman, lol! that seems to be a universal trend. One of the most stressful jobs in SA is with Telkom... and yes, I've done my fair share of yelling at them (and using the mommy voice!) } )
YW Fmitch : )
finished. that was fun. now what to do this afternoon ....? *ponders*
Well, this must be my best one yet, only 11.30am, and I'm all done. The weather is lousy, so no chance of getting out.
Yay! Well done atalante! : ) movieman, did you finish without 'help' yesterday?? : )
atalante, i could always send you my small person to take care of : )
Hi exwren : ) ...and well done!
I'm lucky enough to be on the business end not the residential so we dont get as many calls as we could. But hey when a business goes down all hell lets loose....
Congrats Atalante and ExWren!!
WTG Atalante
I've just realised - 16 words left to find and they are all the d's, how come I have missed that. Does anyone else get "letter blindness"?
sis, all the time! : )
lola, not quite...... I just couldn't see my last 7 words without using a2z......... *curses under his breath and punches wall*
movieman, that is still brilliant! Are you doing the same today? : )
LOL thanks, glad it's not just me :)
I was trying to, lola, but in the end I had to enlist my mate punster for assistance.....
hopefully apart from punching the wall hey movieman.. saves the bones you know
Ooh, haven't looked at BJ's list yet but I can see on the stats that there is an 8 letter word. Would anyone mind telling me what two letters it starts with and it's value?? : )
I cant see any words now hmmm..
lola, it's an re8/45......
re- 8/45 lola
Down to 4 words, haven't used a2z or babblers anon. Need some help with the o on the bottom right corner. Lola, re8
Thanks movieman : ) *lola goes in search of re8/45*
*sigh* Somebody hand me the fish.... } (
Go punster! ... and I don't have either of them, sorry : (

Good morning everyone. Woke up at dawn to some serious howling in the woods....I assume coyotes having made a kill. Anyway, can't for the life of me find any of the eq's! Could someone set me on the path?

Pretty please somone....any clues for the eq series will be much appreciated.
There are 3 x te4/4 in total.
eq6/33 - the residual value of a building or fairness, even-handedness
eq 7/40 - e plus qu5/16 pluralised
haz-slap me with that haddock now! But does that have anything to do with the 7?
Thanks, Haz. Got Babble blindness as usual! What I need is the 2nd or 3rd te 4/4. I have two that sound as if they're connected to that square box in the living room.
eq 5/18 e plus latin word qu4/8
Oops, got it by accident!
okay haz-feel like we're doing babble for the mentally impaired (oh wait, we ARE doing babble for the mentally impaired. I think the dingoes took my brain). Thanks to you I know have the eq5 & 6, but still have no idea of the 7.
Okay - take your y off the end of the eq 6 and replace it with es.
wow! I had tried that version without the s over and over again and assumed since the singular wasn't there the plural wouldn't be either, but obviously it had a whole different meaning. Thanks muchly!!
You're welcome. Never assume anything in babble!
Trust me Eva, we all do it!
Thanks for the support (-:
off to make cheesecake brownies. Back later. Thanks for all the help!

fairie, I'm 52, and my birthday was good. My daughter called during the morning to say happy birthday, then she called back after dinner. She and my 2 year old grandson had been looking at pictures and naming people in the pictures, and he said to her, "I want grammy..." so she called so he could talk to me...
Evan - (((((x))))) good morning dear, how are you?

Evan - I drink way to much Pepsi to say no. But. Water, Water, Water, or tea.
Thanks, I needed that. Refreash.
DE6 -- minute piece of information....or to thoroughly clean a car.....or to remove the end piece of certain animals....
Evan - to remove the end piece of an animal. What, are insane woman. LOL

Yes it could. You do give great clues.
Bunny - No not a lizzard. Ok they grow it back.
thats the way i see the words sometimes...and then the real meaning hits me later, and im all *DUH*
I couldn't see the de6 for anything, until I nearly tripped over it.
Angel - watch out for Evan she'll cut it off. LOL
I signed in twenty minutes ago and have 7 words left to find. I was ready for a HUGE grid, the twins are at their aunts...what do I do the rest of the day?

Greetimgs, all... back for my last 20...
{{{Jera}}} How's it goin' girl? :)
it's like fondant, but a little easier to use ans tastes alot better
If I'm right in thinking, mixing a little liquid glucose to fondant icing makes it maleable enough to make flowers without it all cracking up
jera, how are you feeling?
great!! TY Lizzi!! I have fondant made. I hate making these fancy cakes, I stick with the characters for kids!
Thanks for your help, Ebay packages to ship and cakes to bake! Back tomorrow!

di 5 12 - di 4 5 + plural
thanks haz -- dang plurals always get me!
TSM, when I find icons in the wrong format, I just open them with irfanview and save them to the correct format on my hard drive...
Lizzi - doesn't take long does it? You will be going Pro before the days over....

Lizzie and Haz, your clues went right over my head for the Do6's :(
How are you doing, Jen? How's the small person?
ta 4/4 and ta 5/10 for starters
wine and beer comes in these - substitute the first letter for D
angel: * D + double-vowel + consonant + double-vowel * take the previous clue, and change the second-to-last vowel to a different vowel. * this one rhymes with another word that is a glass container for liquids.
I'm only off for half term for the week though... I ought to be doing my lesson plans, else all those kiddies lessons will be rubbish next week! lol
do6 hint... ever heard of the song, "Hang down your head Tom Do6/21... hang down your head & cry..." I have that song in my head since I found those 2 silly words this morning...
Hi lizzi, jen, haz, jera, toes, faerie, eva n, ishult,angel...
I'm good Jera! (except a nagging cough that will eventually turn into bronchitis as usual). We are having a great time down here, especially since it's going to be 72 today! How are things up there?
Hey TO!!! :)
Jera - that is so wierd - I've been sitting here singing that song and laughing at myself.

te that box in your living room that you watch
The def. for the se4 is : 1. A stiff hair, bristle, or bristlelike process or part on an organism. 2. The stalk of a moss capsule. but... you se. the table + first vowel. and make it plural in the latin way.
ei 4/5 - think of a type of comforter ei**erdown
I have to go get the snow blower out and clean my driveway and sidewalks. We got another 5-6" of snow last night. AAAAAArgggggg. BBL
Bye faerie! I'll be thing of you when I put on my shorts today. ;)
Thankyou!! just the te's to go now... I have the box I watch, and an anagram of it...
Jen - You suck.
Lizzi, do you have the te4 that could either mean ticked off, or what you did on the golf course?
There's a te 5/10 that rhymes with girl's names .. If you're British, you might recognise Miss Smith the cook or Miss Imrie the actress
faeriekae, mind your manners, please. There's no reason to strike out against that evil bi***.
Morning!
Hi Harpjane 8) fun 1 today.... enjoy!
Sorry Gramma - you are right. Evil Bi***. I'm really gone now.
:) LOL gramma! I just happen to be in FL visiting the parents... otherwise I'd be friggin' cold too.

omg, I just got it --- we have a bar locally called do6... lizzie's clue about wine and beer just made sense! Thx
So, are you done, Lizzi?
No... one more to go, then I really ought to get dressed... am having a seriously lazy day (well, week!) Te 4 4
And with all the hate and discontent I am spreading by being able to wear shorts today, I am outta here. :) Have a great day everyone.
It's probably the te4/4 after the te5/10 you've just got.
Bye, Jen - don't get too sunburnt....
That's what I thought, but I tried it, and nothing! I've got the ****phone one and the anagram of it...
Bye, Jen... see you later!
I'm outta here, too... housework beckons...
Try the first three letters with a plural ending
YES!! Thank you sooo much!! And I'm done!!
That is excellent, Lizzi - a great achievement on only your second day!
Does the eq7/40 build off either of the other eq words?
eq 7 - eq 6, minus the last letter and creatively make it plural
'A new babbler is born.'
thank you Lizzie!
I must go and do some shopping for my daughter's birthday tomorrow. Bye all!
oo6 anyone? (wouldn't that be James Bond's apprentice?)
bye, haz...nice work lizzi!

OO + Li 4 4. OO7 - plural of OO6
hi doxy!
thanks, lizzi!
Good morning all. Glad to see another short list. I got 45 words without going to bjs. I'm here for a little while now and want to finish.
Faeriekae = are you still here?
Good afternoon - late start for me as the grandchildren have descended on us
need a te4; have the one for distance (***phone), the one with the ending like elevated trains, and the golf one.
Heeellllooooo Spellit - I thought I was by myself.
Alone no longer!
I'm not there yet Angelsong.
You need the te4 that sounds like a duck?
Okay I've got them but I'm going to have to go for a def. be right back.
Or maybe the one that sounds like an abbrev. for telephones..
spellit..sounds like a duck? I don't get it.
Do you have the one that is an acronym. It starts like the phone one but ends with plural instead of vowel.
not sounds like "quack" but sounds like a kind of duck, also a blue-geenish color
The te4 word sounding the same is a type of duck - in the UK anyway
I'm having one of those days where the words are literally jumping out of the grid at me. Scary!
I've tried the blue-green color word (te), but it says the word does not exist in the grid.
substitute one of the vowels for a duplicate
angel...double the first vowel
got it, finally
te4 - t + slimy fish te + consonant + plural
brb
okay - I'm back.
re5 before the re4/4?

dachef, LOL thank you O great one!!!!
Chris - ta!
Sure smaller. Nyquill it is. bbl
thanks deutsch! on the subject of Nyquil. FYI:there a reason why it should be taken at night. b/c during the day, it makes for some funky times. i'm eating my veg chili, one bean at a time and having a dandy fun with it
anyone needing any clues? I'm feeling VERY creative.
and there's only a short window til i fall asleep on my keyboard. good thing it's not heavy machinery
Nyquil knocks me out everytime
*gently pokes smaller* You still awake, hun?? ; )
well, apparently i didn't have the lists because i still need 3 more words
EB, barely, I'm compensating the drowsiness with copious amounts of dark chocolate. sugar high vs. nyquil. I'll keep you posted on who wins
unless nyquil wins of course
smaller - how about my last word - the to6/21? Be as creative as you like.........
hmmm...dark chocolate....hmmm....

futurama! love it on adult swim with family guy
Thanks bunches Chris.
can anyone please give me a clue for the di 5/16 and the te 5/10s please
I believe Dachef keeps the same icon all the time... others mentioned yesterday they didn't really know Futurama - so they went with the "Jetson's"....
Thanks Smaller.
well, i am quitting with 3 words left :(
oh so Futurma IS the theme?! that's awesome. hold on!
and i'm sure they are something obvious...
boreetos...yup...I believe Anj made the request with our absent/not feeling well Babbler back when she was compiling a rather large list of themes!!
Chris - can you go to Babblers anon and get the full word list? Might help you out a little?
ok all set
Chris - do you compare to the 2nd letter list in Babbler's Anonymous???
te 5/10- what you would watch the jetsons on (abbreviated and plural)
boreetos - theme-perfect!!
where is babblers anonymous?
On the right under "Friends of Babble" Click on Babbler's Anonymous Click on General Then click on stats....
Hi Eastie and all. Just here for a moment to pick up some clues. Chris, don't stop. You can finish in a trice with a little help.

Hi E. I don't know Futurama at all, so staying with best of show - English Bull Terrier; my ex-sister in law and her then husband kept three. They were the most hideous dogs I've ever known. Stupid, vicious, smelly. And I almost never dislike a dog.

mab - I looked it up on the web & then drew my icon... Dachef - can hardly make you out in the photo....but great pix for the theme today!! : )
to be honest, its not really me at all. I just nicked the photo from the Futurama site. Good photo tho! Might keep it.

any help today for the el6/18? pls
Woo Hoo Chris!!! : )

I sort of like these twisted kind of grids. Does anyone have the do6/21s? I have one that sounds like to delay by being slow and unfocused.

evening all :D ...what is Futurama, anyway?
futurama was a prime time cartoon by Matt Groening, the creator of The simpsons.
Hi Sherb! Futurama didn't last more than a few years
hi Deutsch :D ...my cartoon-watching days ended with the Flintstones...
Sherb, I still watch cartoons. My favorites are the silly ones.
Deutsch - got pulled away for a bit...I'll try noodling first & then may beg for clues!! : )
how are you getting on janus? I have 23 left to find...
go for it, EB!
hmmm... 87 sounded like an easy target... how wrong can you be?...
Sherb, there are some weird words and some all twisted around. But you can do it.
thanks Deutsch :D ...and thank goodness for clues... some of these words aren't even in a2z...
and then some letters, like the Q and the I, are surprisingly easy... tempting fate, I know...
Hello, I just have 6 to go... can I get a clue for the first te 4/4 and the first de 4/5
DE 4/5 rhymes with "it was such a good de** I couldn't pass it up" just change the second vowel Hi all

hi chic :D ...and hi Schro :D
I have that de 4/5; must be the next one....
Hi Sherb!!
chick, I think you're missing the one that goes in insecticide.
Oops, the one before it rhymes with a purple vegetable be**
thanx, schro and deutsch! Hi, Sherb!
Anything el 4 4 before I go? other wise, see you tomorrow
ok, 13 left.
I'm good Deutsch, have a good evening Hi Boreetos
Terrific! I'm done! Time to ge rest the weary back... see ya at the flip!
i could use clues for the three do6's if you don't mind.
bye chic
hi boreetos :D
hi sherb! nice icon!
do 6 Hang down your head Tom Do**** with two different endings
boreetos, "hang down your head Tom Do****" spelled 2 different ways
I'd never heard of Futurama until this evening...
The third one rhymes with what wine comes in or what babies drink from
gotta run! Good luck everyone!
thanks!!
thanks Deutsch....got the e's & the d's from the clues just posted....
Bye Chic
sweet, 10 to go!!!

janus - welcome...and if you've come back for day 2 - you're already addicted!!! You're doing well for a day -2 er... 1/2 way thru the grid!!
i dont think so, got a clue for it?
EasternBlue, it would be a te your missing should be 4,4,4,5,5,4 no 6
Boreetos - starts the same 3 letters at the one you have then add two vowels
awesome thanks!! three left and they are all i's.
Easy ones left boreetos, you can do it
*you have 0 word(s) left to find.*

Hi schroeder
the last couple of grids have been easy ......
hi.. help pleeeeeeeeeease... any clues for ed4 other than anagram of tide
ed 4 - if someone makes corrections to your work, they will ed _ _ what you've done....

bye Schroe....have a good night!!
You too EasternBlue, I hope to be back tomorrow.. same bat time, same bat station
bye schroeder....... : )
Bye Tim, didn't know you were still lurking about...
I'll be lurking for a few more minutes in case clues are needed...
yeah just pecking away.... working backwords
Yeah!!! Finished. This is the size grid I can handle during the day.
woo hoo lwg!!!
HI, Everyone!! Hi, EB, may I have a clue for the ae6/21 and last do6/21 before you leave?
thanks...some strange words as usual
congrats lwg50............YOHZAAAA
ed **something a newspaper reporter does
argh...clues for the oo's?
ae 6 - ae + the end of a croco**** do 6/21 (there are 3) two rhyme with each other...different endings for the song "hang down your head Tom Do _ _ _, hang down your head & cry...) the third rhymes with the word in the song "If I could save time in a b______, the first thing that I'd like to do..." (I believe this was Jim Croce)...
oo 5 & 6 oo + opp. of dark then the plural
ty...learning a lot of words doing this LOL
EasternBlue, thanks so much
9 to go and I really don't want to have to ask for help with all of them!
outnumbered...too bad some of them are hard to throw into everyday conversation!! someone threw a rock through my window...it had oo***** in it!! just rolls off the tongue!! : )
outnumbered - I did when I had that many to go... peri - no problem!! I was beggin' for clues earlier!!
somehow I just feel smarter if I find them on my own, even if I'm just randomly typing. will probably be asking for all 9 in a few though. ;)
Out...If I'm still here, I'll be happy to help!!
evenin babblers
2nd do 6/21 ed 5/12 the only el I have is the 4/4 eq7 id 6 and 7
Periwinkle- just in for a sec, If i don't see you on Sunday, HAVE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
out -- for your 2nd DO6, change your second-to-last vowel to a different vowel
ED5 -- E + croco****
EQ7 = E + q5/16 + plural
iD 6+7 thought + eaten plural
2nd do 6/21 - rhymes with the 1st do 6 (hang down your head - ed + the last 3 letters of the crocod>>> the only el I have is the 4/4 (there are 4 more el's el 5 - el 5 the 'supreme', rich, the el ___ el 6 - plural of the rich... el 6 eq7 - almost like a math problems...that ='s something, but change to an I instead of the a id 6 and 7 - like your id 4 + i _ _ _ chicken for dinner last night...
EL5 12 = E + top of a jar + vowel EL55 10 = E + not dark or heavy EL6 18 = plural of above EL6 21 = EL + od4
and I'm done! thank you EasternBlue and evandine!!!
*high-fives EB* good clues!
*delayed high 5 back* (still doing some stuff at work).... Congrats out!!
Evandine - what does the 4 stand for? Four more letters? I am still kind of new to this game. EL6 21 = EL + od4
kraj - there is an "od 4" word in the puzzle the el 6 is el + the od 4 (4 letters)
I am not that great at this yet but it is fun
Thanks Evandine.
the numbers stand for how many letters are in the word and how many points the word is worth. Like, an 4 means a word starting with an that is 4 letters long in all. an 4/7 would mean a 4-letter "an" word that is worth 7 points.
Thank you.
mbrese - it is a lot of fun. I am hooked!
Found it - el + od 6/21
good luck all - if you don't know about it, there is a 2nd letter list under the link (on the middle/right) of the grid called "Babbler's Anonymous"...Click on Babbler's Anonymous - General & then Stats...very helpful to figure out what you might still need (or go pro!! - it's a one-time fee)... I have to go - dinner is calling (o.k. it's my hubby, but he wants dinner)...but good luck!! and welcome (we're a mostly friendly bunch....) if more 'seasoned' people are around, people are always willing to give clues too....
3 word left to go.....lo5/12?.....de5/16?? and a de4???
Tim - de 5/16 - another word for a god or goddess
what all is in the stats panel? is it really that much better than just using the list from the babblers anonymous board?
Tim - de 5 - godlike lo 5 - what they call a toilet in britain lo_ + Mr. _ _ the talking horse
de 4 - either - 1. stuff in bug spray 2. where you get your lunch meat 3. or where you get your lunch meat w/ last 2 letters reversed....
Thanks EasternBlue. That is helpful.
outnumbered - it shows you specifically which letter the words start with....(matches the location on the grid....) I find both helpful!! (plus I love doing the icons...)
you mean it will tell you if an e word starts with an e in the top row vs. the bottom? wow! that would totally help.
thanks EB got two of them still working on the godlike clue.......Arrgh... : )
I put a word in and it's not showing up on the board. It says I already used that word. Strange.
outnumbered - yup...(that's why I like it).... ________ |E| T| Y| ------------ |3|4|5| ( as a bad example - this would be 3 with that e, 4 with the t, 5 with the y...) (but the grid is much prettier!!
xena - that happens sometimes...try refreshing... o.k....really have to go now... good luck!!
Thanks for the tip. It's on the board now.
Yipee -- just finished -- we got to leave work early today -- some of us received 6 inches of snow -- others up to 11 inches. My back is tired from shoveling!!
all done.....woohooo...pbr got about 3 inches here in Denver...real light snow used a push broom. : )
Tim, I live in the midwest and we were hit hard today. Yet, I can't complain -- we haven't had any real major storms this year. Afterall it is winter.
congrats pbr.........like these easy ones..
All the snow falls up in the Rockies and theres none left for the city...Steamboat Springs has had about 28 feet of snow this winter...

Hello! Is everyone all finished?
Greetings from the Great White North I just tuned in and lo and behold, there was the clue for my last word. Yay Thanks
Hey, Galliwags! I'm south of you in Montana. I've never been to Revelstoke but have skied at Glacier National Park (the Canadian one) and stayed in the Wheeler Hut. What fun!
We are having a bit of a cold snap, but that's okay. I'm taking my family to Mexico tomorrow
I'm going to be out of the loop. How ever will I manage? tee hee hee
We're cold here, too. Around 0 F and supposed to be colder. Mexico-sounds like a good way to survive the Great White North!
It's our first big family vacation. My oldest angel has a week off from university
Have a nice time. See you later!
Have a great week everyone. Must go and finish packing. TTFN
anyone out there? anyone who has de 6/21?
de 6 21 -- de monkey hangs onto da tree by de ****
ok, empty room i got it! :) good night!
oh whoops thanks eva!!

nah, i finished this morning. but thanks for the offer -- im sure ill take you up on it another time...hehe
ok! see you later.
Bit qu5/16 in here, isn't it? Morning Babblers!
Hi Jac -- I was thinking the same thing :) small one today
hi gw, jac, et al!
how many words in this puzzle? Just wondering. Thanks!!
87 akwilson :)
I assume you mean the grid, Wolfie? LOL. It's yesterday's grid to me. So, just howl if you need any clues.
How are you today, harp?
Hi Harp!
Would you like the stats, akwilson?
It's gone all qu5/16 again!
I'm good gw, and you? We're getting ready for what is supposed to be the coldest week of the year. It's about 0 F right now. That's supposed to be the HIGH tomorrow. I look forward to wearing outfits that I can't usually wear!
I guess. I'm stuck at the moment with only 2 words to go. :(
Harp - hat kind of outfits would those be, then?
Sorry, Jac -- IMing with Mamabear :) harp -- I just have trouble imagining functioning at those temps!
Well, akw, I could give you the day's stats, but it might be more helpful to know which 2 words you still need. There again, you might not know until I give you the stats... TODAY'S STATS: --- Words Total = 87 --- --- Total Score = 985 --- --- Word Sizes --- 4 - 47 5 - 20 6 - 15 7 - 4 8 - 1 --- 1st Letter Count --- A - 6 D - 16 E - 11 I - 4 L - 9 O - 4 Q - 6 R - 5 S - 4 T - 21 Y - 1
Thanks Jacula, I love your picture!
That should narrow it down a bit.
AKW - Are you a fan of Count Duckula, the vegetarian vampire, too?
Can't say that I've heard of the Vege Duck.
Oh, you don't know what you're missing. He's hilarious. His Nanny is the funniest. She enters rooms through walls, knocking them down in the process. She can't quite work out how to open doors.
harp -- all is well here, though we are all suffering from lack of sleep due to having the newborn in the house & the change in routine with the start of the new job (which I am loving, BTW) --- the past couple of nights, even though she has a cold -- Kristianna has been reading her bedtime books to me while I catch a catnap!
glad to hear it gw jac-i am referring to an extremely warm coat. There are some winters when I never get it out of the closet!
Wolfie - glad you're enjoying the new job. What books has K been reading to you?
Harp - I guess it must be fur or skin then?
REFRESH (F5) to see Duckula's Nanny.
Jac - Fox in Socks, Dick & Jane, -- all her usuals :)
Has she got a copy of 'Where The Wild Thing Are'? That's wonderfully surreal.
She loves Max!!
akwilson - Have you found your 2 missing words yet?
Max - the little boy with the moustache.
I guess she finished with Eric's 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' a while ago?
She got it as a board book for her 2nd Xmas from my friends :)
to5?
I hope it had all the holes and pop-ups in it, Wolfie. The butterfly is lovely.
to5 - pl. of to4 before it.
(Add the 4th vowel in the vowel list to the end of that for the to6 - city in Spain.)
oops -- meant the to6 -- didn't realise I had the 5 already :)
Harp - I'm not anti skin coats. I won't be chucking red paint at you.
nevermind
never mind what, Wolfie?
the to6 -- figured it out on my own -- I didn't read your post all the way through to see your clue for it :)
Silly Wolfie! I'll let you off since you are suffering from sleep deprivation and the trauma of a new job.:-)
I'm mjust listening to a great cd that came free with Classic Rock mag today. I did buy a strange collection of magazines in WH Smith today - Classic Rock, WebUser and Woman's Weekly. LOL.
webUser has sent me to some 3-d picture sites earlier on - I've been crossing my eyes and peering at the screen to get the hidden pics to pop out. It's easier to do it from books!
Anyone need any more clues?
*Jac sniffs her underarms to make sure she's not driving people away. Nope. They smell fine. Deodorant is working.*
*Jac curls up into foetal ball and starts to recite that poem... 'Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, think I'll go up the garden and eat worms....'
I'm getting there Jac -- I don't multitask well so I am trying to chat, grid hunt, compare vs. 2nd letter list, and IM all at the same time -- and I never mastered the ability to juggle!
Not that I'm attention seeking, not in any way whatsoever! ;-/
Just like I have never been able to get the 3-D pics to work for me!
Wolfie - I'm a crap juggler, too. So was my ex-hubby, which is why it used to drive me nuts when he could never pass the fruit bowl without juggling (and dropping) the fruit!
hi... any clues for Te/5 please
Wolfie - there are several techniques for seeing those pics and they do work, believe me. You can try putting your nose on the screen and slowly moving away, a better method is slowly crossing your eyes to look at the end of your nose and then slowly uncrossing them, and looking at the pic again. It needs a bit of patience, but if you let your eyes relax the image suddenly POPS OUT at you and then, even if you blink, you won't lose it. Have you never done candle visualisation? It's the same technique.
there are two, not sure which one you need. one is a plural of a te4 in the grid. the other is a plural of another word, a fungus or something
any clues on the eq 5? TIA
te5/10. 2 of them First is plural of the te4/4 before it. Second is the same but uses 2 diff vowels at the end.
e + english pound slang
eq5 - e + English sland for £1 sterling.
Jac -- have never done much visualisation at all -- whenever I try -- the opposite outcome from what I desire always occurs :D And I know all the techniques for the 3d pics -- I was working for a bookstore when they first showed up -- I just can't get them to work
*the 'd' was a 'g' and the weird A thing was English.
te4 please?
Wolfie - the technique for the pics is to just relax and let go. Not an easy thing for a wolf do do though, I guess?
Hallo!!!!!
Which t4, ukfizz?
Hiya Mama.x
Jac -- at least not this wolf ;)
's ok Jacula... thanks anyway.. I just found it! wow.. first time ive ever finisheed :) xx
Hiya Jac!!!!! Count Ducula tonite?
Congrats, ukfizz!!!!!!!
*~*~*~*~FIREWORKS FOR UKFIZZ*~*~*~*~
thank youuuuuuuuuuuu :)
ukfizz -- so how long have you shared our addiction? ;D
Wolfie - I'll tutor you to see 'em! If not, I'll have to show you when you visit. The moment when the vision blurs sifficiently and the 3d kicks in is just great!
*sufficiently. I say, yet again, Dr_God, please give us an edit facility!
OK -- it's a date, Jac -- now we just have to iron out the details of when :)
Yep, Mamma. Count Duckula, the veggie vampire tonight. I don't watch Futurama, so couldn't really truthfully icon that!
Yes, Wolfie. We'll do that. (Off web though!)
oo6?
oo + turn on the l***, it's dark in here!
Any clues for the two OO's?
Thanks Mama!
other oo is plural!!!!!
Thank you!!
Help GreyWoulf or Jacula! I type in the last word that I need and the box will say "You have already used that word", but it won't register in my wordlist. I can only get credit for 86 words even though I have typed in all 87. What do I do?
Kimm -- try refreshing -- that should fix it :)
Kimm - what is the last word you seem to need?
I'll try it GreWoulf. Thanks!
Kimm - F5 refreshes my browser, but it is different on some machines. There should be a refresh button somewhere though. Try that.
It worked! You guys saved the day again. Thanks again.
Anytime, Kimm :)
Oh, and don't forget to come back and tell us if it works... and what the stats for your last word were. We are caring but curious people here in Babbleonia.
Wolfie - You sounded just like The Fonz in your last post to Kim!:-)
AAAaaaayyy!
The trouble I had came with the first li 4/5. The refresh solved the problem.
hey mello babblers - still at the office - just wanted to say hey!!!!
Rennie!!!!! All work and no play make Babbler tired!!!!
Lol, Wolfie. You did that really well! Hey, Ren!
Hi ren!!!!
yes mama - you are right...mez has the flu and i'm not real anxious to go home......bad wifey!!!! 8)
Jac -- Fonz was a major influence on me while growing up :)
hye wolfie - hey mistress!!!!! is that fonz wolf?
Kimm, thanks for coming back on that. The outdoor swimming pool had you foxed then? Would you believe that there are more of those per population 'thingey' than anywhere else? Yes, in Iceland! I know it's true because I've been there. They are lovely people, but mad people!
Yup, Ren. That was sexy Fonz Wolf!
i get to see happy days while i'm getting ready for work each morning....start a day w/ laughter...8)
aaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy (female fonz voice) Or should I be Pinky Tuskedero?
Ren - re Mez and flu - No, not a bad wife. A wife who doesn't want to catch the same bug. (Sleep in the spare room tonight, even if he does clump down some time and demand to know why you are 'NOT IN BED!'
*Snap* *Jukebox starts playing 'Rock Around the Clock'*
Mama - ever so sorry - the female 'ayyyyy' doesn't do it for me.
mama - you be pinky!!!! mistress...i hvae a day bed in my dressing room...i plan on sleeping there...with ear plugs and a sleep mask...what??????
So,m I guess we'll all be rocking around the clock when the flip comes? GREAT STUFF!
i found my thrillll...on blueberry hil.....
ren -- mez is ill? Sorry to hear that :\ ---- Kristianna is recovering from a cold here and seems to have given it to her brother
ow wolfie...poor babies....how are ya'll coping?
oh here's my dumb bonle what..... wh....what?????? what's wrong honey.......what?????? ~~ ~~ ~ OO <>
I am doing fine -- Seb just started with a cough today -- no other symptoms -- Kristianna is driving us nuts with her refusal to eat --- she has a few bite but then flat out refuses to take another bite -- drove Mom crazy both yesterday and today -- I caught on today and was able to trick her into a bit more -- She should be fine by Sat :)
Please don't talk to me about blueberries! Planning to make muffins later, I bought a pack of dried blueberries here and was charged £1.88 for 75g! I have 2 blueberry bushes in the garden and have pounds of the frozen article. But, being a bit new to muffin making, I didn't realise frozen ones could be used and not make the muffins soggy. But my darling daughter, who works for Muffin Break (an Aussie company) right now, tells me THEY do! SH4/5!
was it believable?
wolfie...not even spaghetti o's work?
Wolfie - don't stress K about not eating - she will do again real soon.
mistress - we use frozen cause the fresh are soooooooooexpensive like about US$3.99 for a pint!!
Wolfie - is K at nursery or school yet?
ok you sweetie pies (not blueberry variety) i'm about to head home. i have an all day meeting tomorrow starting at 8:00 AM..see you tomorrow night!!!
Ren -- didn't work for me, but i am the exception --- I am a male who doesn't need a simpering dumb female by his side to feel good about myself --- I demand intelligence!
Safe journey home, Ren. Will guide a few million flies into your fender on your way.x Wolfie - glad to hear it!
good day everyone! I hv just one more to finish... but cant seem to see it.... le 4/6 ... help please
Jac -- no nursery yet -- no money :( But will prob be in this fall with help from her grandma :)
LOL wolfie...i really don't wimper, simper, beg or plead...i just do what i please!!!!! thanks for the input...mez doesn't buy it either.......byeeeeeeee 8)
And, incidentally, if K isn't that kind of female right now, then give her some leeway. Giving birth to a son sends a woman's hormones going in all the wrong directions. She may not be compos mentis a a while. She soon will be though!
Later, ren -- if not tonite, then tomorrow :) (*Hug*)
its ok...got it :)
A fact that she is continually reminding me of, Jac!! (she is an LPN) ;D
*~*~*~FIREWORKS FOR ANUJA*~*~*~*
lo5?
Wolfie - what's an LPN?
lo5/12 - past tense of British 'toilet'. 'I must just got to the ***!'
LPN -- Licensed Practical Nurse -- she is one step below a fully Registered Nurse meaning she cannot operate as autonomously as an RN does at times -- but she is still an angel of ministering :) -- I have no idea what the British equivalent would be
i guess RNS is the equivalent here, Wolfie.
Next, as far as I remember is SRN.
State Registered Nurse.
eq6?
Anyone who is around right now is going to have to refresh soon, because I'll be doing the first of my statue icons... starting with Rodin's Kiss.
id6?
GW- you've heard of e-gold? imagine electronic British money.
eq6 - # The residual value of a business or property beyond any mortgage thereon and liability therein. # 1. The market value of securities less any debt incurred. 2. Common stock and preferred stock. # Funds provided to a business by the sale of stock.
id 6-the have of having an id4
sorry gw, wrong eq clue.
I hate when the singular follows the plural!!
id6 - To form an idea of; imagine or conceive: “Such characters represent a grotesquely blown-up aspect of an ideal man... if not realizable, capable of being ideated†(Anthony Burgess).
hail and hello to all Jac, GW and ren

REFRESH! Icon is kevlavik's STEEL EGG. (It's acually the sperm waiting for the egg.)
Hi Blaze!! Harp -- no worries :)
el6/21?
That is the statue that greets you when you fly into Iceland.
awsome .... from what I can see..... I choose totem pole from our Stanley Park, Vancouver
Blaze - give me a while and I will scan in a pic of my lovely, but now, sadly, late Gran - feeling the bum on that.
Mine is a statue that no longer exists--a temporary statue built for the St. Louis World's Fair (in the 1930's?).
either do6?
|EEH! She looked like a proper granny hugging it in the front view, but then, her son, my uncle (a local resident), went around to take a back view pic, she was bum-pinching. On the totem and the Indian fella!
sorry, ANY do6?
"hang down your head tom do**** ** ending both ways
d+ 23rd vowels, then an untruth.
same again but change the first person singular to a 2nd vowel.
Just logged on. How's everyone tonite?
For the last do 6/21 - you would have to know our pet name for my Aunt Dorothy! My God! She'd die if she knew I'd ever called her that, she's only 8 years older than me! Do... sounds a bit mad!
Thanks
d6-rhymes with what you are holding after you remove the cap from a ****** of coca cola.
lst do6 rhymes with what whiskey comes in
A thing with lots of spots on it might be called do6!

Lots of people waving bottles around here! LOL.

Congrats, GW!
Hey Wolfie - you got 4 ladies clueing you in there. I'd call that a HIT! LOL.
Hi baby wolf!!!
congrats to GW
Even though I need the loo right now.... *~*~*~*~FIREWORKS FOR WOLFIE*~*~*~*~
What and where is your statue Jacula?
I couldn't have done it with out all of you! I dedicate this grid to the wonderful and intelligent ladies of Babble! ;D
Mama: Ok, as life goes. Planning some trips on the internet. One to the Mariner's Spring training, one to LV for our 34th anniversary, and one to, more local, Ocean Shores in our condo down there. How about U? How is everything panning out for you?
Well I was hoping to go somewhere for a few days, but the $1,900 car repair bill I just got is telling me otherwise.
Mama sometimes local B&B's are a good time away and you can pretend to be a tourist...
Cybernan - It's 'The Steel Egg' (as it is officially called) at Keflavik airport in Reykjavik in Icleland.
Mama: Isn't car repair's just out of site? Man, we have a 1997 Explorer, and it is going to kick the bucket one of these days. Just waiting, for the other shoe to fall.
B & B's are nice romantic type getaways.... but I have nobody to be romantic with.....
