And a wonderful good morning to everyone.
Sorry,Mama, didn't realise DadaBear wasn't still guuarding the cave. ((((HUGZZZZZZZZ))))
That's ok Jacula!!!!! He's still here... just those days are LONG gone... unfortunately.

My dadabear isn't still officially here, Mama. But I didn't judge him too wrong, cos he still visits often and looks after his cubs.

Ooh! A very racist co4 just got accepted!
p 7/32
Also an all too familiar sn5/10 and a kind of yukky sn4!
A kinda rude pi4 for urinating....
A coyuple of pi Imperial liquid measurements...

Morning dear gang! :)
hi sprite
Hail Sprite
Looks like a nice one today :)
p7/32 x 2
santa is not a word... *sigh*
Nope, but with another vowel at the end, there is at least some comfort ;)
s7/36 x 2
Liked finding the pe5/12 word, but did then look for 'very sorry' word beginning with pe....:-(
Jac, better to find the Pe5 and NOT be sorry ;)
Oh, Sprite, How right you are!
Are you ladies talking about the pe5 that half of the human beings in the world have? lol
Yes, Harp, I guess we are, and, without it, and ourselves, the humand race would not exist.
Well then, let's not be sorry, I guess!
Yup, the part that does most of their thinking for them ;) Got to leave you guys for a bit, got some kids here that want a piece of their mom and my washing machine crashed again (3rth time in one month), so I have to prepare the bathroom for the repairman.
good luck sprite

Forgot to mention the Icelander's version of the Kevlavik statue - sperm and egg. LOL.
I REALLY want to type in hexagon
words we all want, santa, hexagon, now I have oreo!
i want to know why other puzzles take haha but this one doesn't take hehe! This is giggling discrimination!
K bye. Night Night.
night all. Happy babbling.
see yu tomorrow... I must be off for this night

Hello how many words today?
218, caelle!
Then I'm halfway + at 111. G'nite all.
bye munner
Thanks Leslieann bigger than the last few have been... guess i'd better get at it
I really like this one! Back, btw... for another 15 minutes.
a8/50
Just checked ( since blissing out here on Python Lee Jacksons's 'In A Broken Dream') - 100 words found here...
keep thinking I see assinine every time I look for that a 8!
Stalled at 142 -- think I've gone as far as I can without Brandyjack's list.
And why is someone who does that particular dance no T7?
cybernan, is that a kelowna sailboat by chance?
It is a Dow Reid sculpture called 'Spirit of the Sails' that stands at the foot of our main street downtown. It has come to be a symbol of Kelowna.
ay chihuahua! this looks like a good grid.
i thought it looked familiar...
Where are you located Caelle?
I'm in kelowna, for just over a year now, not too familiar with the downtown area
Griffs! Great to see you, was a bit worried about you. How are you recovering from the accident? And how is the dog?
Hope you are enjoying it here.
i love it, I don't plan on going anywhere
Doggie's okay. I'm still in a fair amount of pain, just takes time I guess. Hard to sit for long so I am not babbling much - by the time I've sat at work all day (and tonight for a two hour meeting) my back is killing me. We're in to the court phase now - the other gal has decided this really was all my fault so is seeking to have her traffic citation overturned and we are off to court over it. Just more hassle. How are you?
104 words here and bruised my nose on a big wall now, S'late, not slept yet.
I am doing well enough. Take care of that back, Griffs, you have only one and you will be needing it for a fair mount of years-to-come ;) Sorry to hear about the court thing. Stupid lady, that... hope she will be very sorry that she took it this far.
*amount
Just found your dancer, Sprite -- good question, esecially in consideration of all the other crazy "words" we get.
I doubt she will. Her story all along has been yes she ran the stop sign but I should not have hit her. And she thinks that is true logic. My only concern is that these are minor matters and a cop is not going to show up in court for it. which means her ticket will likely be flipped. If that happens then I may be in a position to share liability. I'm already out about ten grand over this so am not looking for any portion of blame when none of it was my fault.
Griff -- some advice from experience -- don't be in too big a rush to settle the insurance claim -- keep a diary recording how you are feeling each day and what limitations you have as a result of the injury -- see a doctor immediately and get a written report -- if physio is recommended make sure you get the therapist to write a summary of you condition and prognosis as well. Good luck and I hope you are soon on the mend.
Anyway, having oversung my song of woe, my back is in spasms and I can't see any words either so am going to go lie down. We're dogsitting golden girl Emma this week and she is a cuddledog (Hunter is not) so it's pleasant to have her company as my back pillow! 'Night.
I think me and Alice Cooper might sign out for the moment.
That's what I thought, nan... guess we are much more logical than enable will ever be. Griffs, I am so sorry to hear that. It is SO unfair. I will order a miracle for you ;)
Yep, nan, that's all being done.
He's singing Lost In America right now. LOL.
Thats good!, but sorry to hear you had an accident in the first place.
Debs -- want to tell us the second letter for that a8?
working hard; so far, 162. don't seem to get those long words...
Nan - it's Ag 8/50
Thankyou sweettooth
Nite Griffs, hope you will be feeling better soon.
i got that one too, thanks sweettooth i'm off now, bye all have fun
You're welcome!
too bad there isn't another t in there -- wouldn't a 10 letter word be lovely?!
Washing machine man is in and has a worried look on his face. Hope this won't be too expensive... :(
That brings me to 150 -- a nice round figure to stop at for the night -- see you tomorrow, everyone :)
keeping my fingers crossed for you Sprite!
Nice work nan! I think A4-A5 should be a word for being against bad tempers.
Thanks SweetTooth! :)
bye nan
making progress -up to 272 now...
How about a4 - a3 for being against stupidity?
Sweet Tooth, I love you to bits! It helped... not a 200 euro electronical thing, but a leak in a hose... which will be about 35 or 40 euro. What a relief! :)
That too, nan!
Sprite - Thanks goodness, I can finally uncross my fingers!
Types a lot easier, doesn't it, SweetTooth ;)
Glad it wasn't anything too serious. We just had a $175.00 (110 euros) tab to replace an electronic something or other in our water distiller.
Now I need to find one more word so that I can leave with a nice round number of 65 to go!
Yes, as soon as it becomes electronical, the costs go sky high. I was really holding my breath. Thank god for good and honest repairmen.
Nan, do you have the Indian butter G4?
No, but found another one I was missing -- can't remember what that indian butter one was -- know we had it a couple of days ago. tomorrow! -- good night all.
Fingers feel fine....wish my head felt better. I watched my four year old nephew on Valentine's day and caught his cold. I knew it was inevitable, he was being very snuggly and coughing and sneezing all over me.
Sleep well! Cleared butter, G4/7. You'll find it tomorrow ;)
Comes with the territory, indeed, SweetTooth... hope you will be feeling better soon!
Thanks Sprite!
P7/32-8/45, not sure those were mentioned yet.
Well, it's climbed to 442 BTW, this is coming from Jerusalem...
you talking points nadav?
yes, tbear, points - not so good, right? but I just back and forth to the computer...
all points are good nadav.....how long have you been playing?
actually just began..
hi tbear and nadav and sprite and anyone else who's around!
Morning everone big grid today are you all well?
I seem to be at a distinct advantage: while you all are "working' in the wee hours, it's noon here in Jerusalem... BTW, how do you get a picture attached to your name?
Good morning, all. It's my daughter's 22nd birthday today so my icon is in her honour.
you have to join
I HAVE joined.(Otherwise I wouldn't be here now). But how do I get the icon next to the name?
In your My Profile page you can upload a pic
upper right hand corner of the page
nadav, you can pay a small, one-off fee & get a profile, icon & a stats grid that tells you how many words / which letters they begin from.
Click on my profile at the top of the page and gofrom there.
I did sign up and pay. I see the Stats (don't understand all), but nothing about an icon.
did you go to the My Profile page? (upper right hand corner)
nadav, up in the top right hand corner of the screen, there's a link to 'my profile' ... click it, and you'll see an option to upload an icon. It it's not there, try refreshing, or logging out of the game and back in (if it's your first time on here).
going to have lunch now- will be back to try to get a pretty (?) icon. Does this include the flag?
If you put your nationality in the profile field, you should get a flag, yeah :) see you later, nadav
the flag comes from the blue box titled optional info in the my profile section
All done! That was a toughie. Anyone need clues before I go?
No? Okay, good luck everyone, see you tomorrow.
Nadav Boker Tov from the West Coast
Well done and welcome!
Mornin' all. Not usually looking at this insanity so early, but evil cat decided to use me as his treadmill this a.m.!
Hello everyone.....Happy Birthday Haz's daughter (pretty girl !)..... welcome nadav.... just poppong in and out between boring houseworky things !!!
Good morning, Karys. I'm about to drag myself away to get on with some cooking and baking.
preparing some foodstuffs for entertaining tomorrow night (that bit I don't mind)....its the bedchanging and washing and things like that !!
Hi mom23...my cat does that too sometimes
I know, entertaining is fine, but why do I always feel that I have to clean the whole house? Just in case the guests feel the urge to check all the bedrooms...
LOL....this is true....aren't we silly !!
when was the last time you went around someones house looking in dark corners ?
It's probably the same principle as always wearing clean underwear in case you're run over by a bus...
oh absolutely....and nowadays it has to be matching too !
I no longer look around dark corners, but maybe it's because I remember, as a child, being curious and always looking in people's bathroom cabinets. I've grown out of it now but you can't be sure about other people.
when I was fostering you could bet that first thing the new child wanted to do was to look at the loo !!
There's probably some deep Freudian reason behind that one!
I think it is a known fact !
Morning, all... big day ahead so I am Babbling early!
Jera, good morning - anything interesting happening in your big day?
morning Jera....may we ask what ?
satan isn't a word?
think it depends what day it is mia !!
I'm going to a training workshop so I can be a Girl Scout day camp director this summer!!
well that sound like something you will enjoy Jera....Good Luck !
Hope it goes well for you. I would fail miserably!
IT's pretty far away & lasts 4 hours... the kids are commanded to behave & not get sick at school today or DADDY will have to come get them (& he won't be happy)!
Poor souls! I do hope they aren't really sick, sitting in the back row, trying not to make a fuss.
must do a bit more !!!....see you later :)
Bye Karis.
Oh not sick, just cold-level disagreements. If they run a fever, cough horribly or throw up, the school sends them home.
Bye, Happy Cat!
Well, let's hope that doesn't happen.
Haz.....a very happy Aquarian birthday to your daughter.... :)
Thank you - she's just been on the phone from college to say when she'll be home this afternoon. She sounds really excited!
And now, I must depart for a while. I'll be back later!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARIGOLD, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
Hi all how many words today please : )
hi periwinkle thanks
218
218, & hi adsman :)
gotta get ready for work be back later
hey Trish : ) thanks
Nice to hear from you, ARB. Whar do you do on the West Coast?
good morning/boker tov everyone. They are predicting a very dramatic day here - dropping 40 degrees, high winds, power outages. Have to go and fill some containers with water in case we lose the pump. It was 50 yesterday and is supposed to be -10 by this evening. So I'd better do my babbling now. Does anyone have a clue for the ag8?
ag + na6/18 def: from a common source, or paternal side.
morning Eva. If you have a na6/18, then just stick ag on the front ...
nadav-aside from getting your flag and gender (I assume you already have one?) you can get a nice icon, which you can change at will, going to your profile page, going to "edit icon", and uploading something from images on Google. Itis quite picky about what format it will accept, but all of that is spelled out on the profile page.
thanks chessy-I remember now that we had it before!
wish I could remember words from one puzzle to the next sometimes :)
are there any words using the x?
wish I could remember why I went from one room to the next.
LOL Eva - no, the x isn't used at all poor thing ...
poor x-what about someone who used to ride a Harley?
hi everone. Is there any clue about for the ag8? Found the pe8 quickly!!
no exhogs in babbleland ...
ishult-there's a definition at 5:59.
I want cognate.
i want oasis !
I want assinine and onion
morning gramma! Ready for the arctic invasion?
Oops ;{ I really should have greeted every1 first....sorry. Start over. Good morning!
Hi Gramma
Eva, I'm actually a bit nervous about it. How about you?
wanting assinine and onion seems a verp appropriate greeting to me and, I would guess, most babblers.
still looking for some of those weird co words lurk around. Almost as bad as the dreaded re's.
Thanks Eva, you always cover my ***. We Vermonters have to stick together...if for nothing else, at least warmth 8)
looking for that middle 'i' !!
The dilemma for me is that we do have a generator, which we bought for emergencies, but have never used, and when the power is off for a long period we obsess about whether to haul it out and start it (something neither of us has any aptitude for at all) or wait it out and hope the power comes back on before everything in the fridge spoils. heat is not much of a problem, as we have 2 stoves. But we are at the end of the power grid and are usually the last to be reconnected.
Eva, if you bought a generator, you owe it to yourself to learn how to run it. You must have a good neighbor around that could help you. Or maybe the place you bought it?
Hi all. Struggling this morning!
spellit, are you talking about me?...'cuz yes I am! I'm still on the 4 letter a's :(
We have put it through some trial runs and yes, there are neighbors who can help. I was just thinking that since for once we have plenty of advance warning, we'll hook it up this morning while it is still warm and dry, and see if we can get it working or if we need help. It will keep the pump, furnace and fridge going. No lights or other appliancs, but who needs those?
cat feeding time...
Your kittys do look a little gaunt 8)
An6? Help please. What am I against today?
You are going hunting for small insects
No - I'm the one struggling - only just over halfway so far. Sorry to hear about all the terrible weather. We just have non-stop rain
That was for the an6 gramma...
Two sa5/10's together - I have the antelope but the other one is driving me nuts! Please put me out of my misery..
a type of fabric spellit
Jera, TY. I wouldn't have found it w/out you. I hadn't discovered that delightful 3 letter ending yet. ^_^
It comes in quite handy today, gramma!
Well, I'm toddling off with 80 to go, hopefully will make it back this evening to finish!
Thanks Adsman but it's the sa5/10 before that one!
C ya later Jera. TA
Spellit - it drove me crazy too! It's like Spanish saint but with masculine ending
change the middle consonant of the fabric to the first letter, Spellit... hope that's the right one
change the N to a S spellit
109 still to go, but I gotta take a break!! Later
Hazel you are my star! Thanks - I can go to lunch happy!
You're welcome!
Hi all. No time to babble right this minute but was wondering what the icon theme of the day is? I can't for the live of me find this list.
Sorry, musicmom - I don't know either. Good morning, by the way.

and oops, forgot to update - refresh!
oh, fmitch's post was more than 5 mins old...
Well, 106 words all by my li'l ol' self - did I even hit the halfway mark?
hi Hurshy. I just got here - haven't started this one yet
amandacath -- 218 total today
D*** - just three short of halfway. Time to scroll thru the log for all of your wonderful clues!
i have found 130 all by myself so far! i'm so proud.
135 now, and 7 of them are 7's!
100 words even, and 5 of them are 7s. :D
the kids don't have school today - it's slowing me down
of course, my little knowledge of french is longering, and i keep seeing the word "connais"
Have to get Hannah's breakfast and my coffee. Be back soon.,
127 and frustrated - can anyone tell me how many 7's and 8's?
1 -8 and 17 - 7s
All done but I'll stick around for a bit for clues
Um... I've got 2 8's?
Sorry amanda - you are right. I misread the stats.
There are only two
Congrats Spellit!
and 38 (yes, 38!) 6 letter words today too, amandacath.
Cheers musicmom :-)
Ok, relieved of all 8's, 7 7's to go. I know I'm missing 1 s7 - I've got a bee and a way of scoring tests...
Hey all I'm back!
hi jera :) I'm outahere to get ready for work. Back later. Good luck all!
Hi Jera. I think I have caught a touch of what you have had. Achy and congested today.
Hey, everybody! How are all of you?
Sorry, musicmom... I didn't know I was cyber-contagious!
Hi Smithchick. hanging in there. I'll probably be sporadic at best today. Kids are home from school.
Bye, ch1212!
Well, my plans for the day seem to be shot, so I figured I'd come back to Babbling...
Why are your kids home, musicmom? Holiday or sick??
I'm glad you are here. but are you missing something fun?
Yeah, I'll be sporadic too. In fact, I've even used a2z today which I haven't used in months because I've got a billion things to do. Pay bills, clean house (hubby comes home tomorrow- weather permitting), help my mom some more, Dr. appt. for daughter's broken foot. Sheew!
it's a conference day. They also have Monday off for the holiday. Fortunately they aren't ill.
I was supposed to be going to a Girl Scout Day Camp Director training workshop today... but I'm having trouble getting oil delivered & it's gonna get COLD tonight!!
You are a busy beaver, smithchick!!
BUMMER! Yep it is getting cold here too. We were at 70 yesterday - high of only 35 today. Day camp Director - you're brave!
Brrr!!! Definitely get your oil. I'm kind of looking forward to getting socked in if hubby makes it in.
Goodness Smithchick - all that and babble too. Impressive!
Not normally, Jera. Mom is having her house appraised and she has been doing renovations so it is a mess so I've been helping her all week. Consequently, my house has suffered. REALLY SUFFERED!!!
My time management skills are sorely lacking. That's really not much for an organized person but since I"ve let my house get horrible, it will take several hours.Dread.
I find it is really hard to keep house if I'm busy out doing other things. Strange - you would think if noone were here it would stay cleaned up better.
I'm a better manager than a basic Leader, I think... less physical activity, more brain work... I LOVE planning stuff! I guess I just need more green minions to do my bidding... last night's meeting was excellent... we earned Cookie Connection in under 2 hours!
My house stays cleaner when we are all busy... assuming, of course, I clean it before I go, LOL! That's the trick...
That's great Jera! I don't like dealing with all the leaders and parents when I plan things. I plan lots of SU events. I love working with the girls - it's the adults I have trouble with:-) I'm going to be a patrol leader at our Day Camp this year. Probably with Jr. scouts.
If I could just get my kids their own house (and hubby) mine would be much cleaner. I'm not a basically messy person but the four other people I live with are. Jera, it's too bad we don't live close. I'm an excellent minion! I don't like to plan, I like to be a worker bee!
i agree with that Smith. When the kids spend a week at Grandma's I have a terrific looking house.
I used to be like that, smithchick... I think a combination of experience, pride & physical difficulties makes the trenches less appealing...
My house was fabulous last Summer when my daughter was away at camp!! She is slowly becoming more help with the mess than maker of messes. That's nice!
I lack imagination and confidence when it comes to stuff. Plus, I don't want to have the ultimate responsibility. I'd rather someone else officially be in charge, and if I have a fabulous idea, then have it used. Usually I don't care who gets the credit because my fabulous ideas are few and far between.
I'm FULL of fabulous ideas!! Crazy has also been used, LOL... Right now, I'm working on a Retro Scouts daycamp where the Girls earn discontinued Badges from the olden days... I love History!
I'm definitely an idea, imagination person. I don't mind if I get credit or someone else does, but I like figuring out fun, different ways to approach things.
smithchick... I just now realized what your icon is... I thought it was Yoda until I took a good look... it's sad to be going blind... how will I Babble??
That is so cool, jera!! Sometime I might have to pick your brains for our girls youth group at church.
The only way I'd get mad is if someone specifically said, This is my idea, when it was mine. If nothing is said, i don't care, as long as the Girls have fun & possibly even learn something!
Jera - that is cool! The girls in the SU call me the Crazy S***ing lady. It's funny because all over town girls will be speaking to me. Greg is always amazed.
I'm blind today, too. I can't tell what anyone's icons are. Yours looks like a cowboy, jera. Is it?
Sure thing, smithchick, my e-mail address is in my profile... feel free to drop me a line!
My icon is Fountain Square in Cincinnati - that's where I grew up.
Mine is the Colossus of Rhodes!
I was just about to ask, musicmom. I was busy squinting away at it to see if I could tell. Well, I'm envious of your imaginations and creativity. My creative moments are few and far between. I have them, but rarely.
*refreshes quickly as musicmom's icon is still Futurama for me*
My latest crazy idea... a Girl Scout Birthday party at the local Library to recruit & celebrate 94 years of Girl Scouting in the USA!! We even got permission to light candles, usually not allowed...
Morning all!
Morning, Jen, how are you today, hon?
good morning all.
Very cool. Not my idea - but I'm working on a Harry Potter Event for Council. We transform a local building into Hogwarts and the girls spend the day doing science experiments with 'magic' names. I am teaching Divinations 3 this year - which is really a trivia and logic game. Last year I taught Transfigurations 2 which was origami.
Morning Jen and Doxy.
Too cool, jera. I just got the guilt phone call from my mother. "Why aren't you here? I thought you were going to come up today." RAWR!! I guess my house gets to wait another day. I'm going to try to finish my babbling first, though.
poor smithchick.
DONE...anyone need a clue??
I'm good Jera! How are you feeling? Fully recovered?
smithchick, I hate those calls. I feel for you. I usually get, "why haven't you called me lately?" I only work full time, moving my daughter in this weekend, preparing for a wedding, etc, etc.
Hello jen and doxy! Well, my house will survive. Obviously if it were more important, I'd be doing it instead of babbling. There are advantages to having the hubby gone weeks at a time!:)
CONGRATS! Oaw! I'm not far enough along to want clues yet. Thanks.
Woohoo, ouwachita!! We have the Ouachita mountains here and everytime I see your name, that's what I think of!
where are you...I never heard of them??
Still very hoarse & coughing now & then. Had some heart trouble this morning (I have a murmur) because of the coughing. But congestion, fever & headache are gone, yea!
I want incognito, regatta, sonnet and sonata!
I hear you, doxy. My only consolation is the knowledge that I too have children that I will one day be able to guilt trip. (I hope- it doesn't work too well on my sisters).
Amanda - I've been trying for sonata too.
In Arkansas. They aren't huge mountains, but mountains. We won't be competing with the Rockies any time soon.:)
I got the name off a canoe...I always tell people it means "man with large pe5/12"
Sheesh, jera. Scary! Take care. Do you have a humidifier?
My husband got one of those calls from his sister a few weeks ago. He's a computer guru so everyone calls him with their stupid computer questions. But this one was at almost 10 pm & really she wanted to nag him since she's about to go to Africa... she's a missionary & he's agnostic... not a fun mix, especially since she's on the pushy side...
LOL, ouwachita!
I think that it is only fair that since there's no double-T for regatta, they let us put the double-N in sonnata
That's as valid as the no vowel word a couple of days ago!
It's not really that big of a deal, i know what to do if it happens... I have tachycardia episodes. but I can do a breathing trick which calms it down 99% of the time. The worst part would have been having to pull over in traffic then getting back in line...
All is not fair in babbleland, amanda... Much to my dismay. It kills me that it won't let you do perfectly normal words, and the cu** word makes it in. What's up with that! Jera, I bet family reunions are lots of fun!
hi any clue for the sa 5/10 there are two of them after 5/16 4/4 any help please this my last word
Ooh, musicmom, I just read your Harry Potter bit... our Council has a Hogwarts day camp every summer... Sprite earned 8 badges last year at it!
since no one needs a clue...I will get back to work...good luck all.
Well, it's good that you can stay calm and/or calm yourself when you need too. It would be easy to panic. Traffic is the pits. I would go crazy in a big city. Our morning drop off kids at school traffic almost sends me over the edge some mornings and our town only has 1400 people in it!
bye ouwachita, and congrats
Bye Ouw. have a great day!
Bye, ouwachita!!
Fun for me, smithchick... everyone else seems to be oblivious but I'm stifling giggles as she chases him around (not literally, of course, just she'll come sit by him with this LOOK on her face & suddenly he needs to go check on the kids or get more food or something)
Thanks Ouwa... we are too busy chatting, I guess... see you later!
Hi, rosa... one is the big guy in red with a different vowel and the other is like the fabric one with a different middle consonant. Are those the ones you mean?
Yes thanks smithchick I have it now good luck to you all I am off now bye
Congrats, rosalind!!! Bye!
Bye rosa.
smithchick the only time I really had trouble with my heart was when I was pregnant the first time, had to go to the emergency room twice for it... my poor body was freaking out! When I was a kid it used to make me pass out...
jera, it sounds like the same thing 2 of my daughters have.
Morning. 10 below F. And we're the warmest place in the state today....
hi harpjane, stay indoors and stay warm
How many kids do you have, jera? That might have seriously curtailed the number of kids I had! Is it because of your cf?
One of my funniest family moments was when I corrected a sister-in-law (not the missionary one, but she's very religious) about something in the Bible. The Pagan correcting the Christian... the look on her face was priceless (I don't have many mean moments, but she's kind of insufferable, gives Christians a bad name)!
Wow, harpjane! Makes me grateful for our 30 degrees!
I have 2 kids, smithchick... I don't have sf, I have spina bifida & hydrocephalous, plues the unrelated heart murmur. It has some guy's name that i don't remember.
jera, would it be Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome?
Where are you, harpjane? It's supposed to drop 40 degrees in under 12 hours here in Virginia
Well, I'm a pretty religious person but I try not to push it on people. Even my family who were all raised the same way. Some don't practice religion at all, but they would all tell you they believe it.
I honestly don't know, doxy... what are the chracteristings?
heart races usually because of an extra electrical circuit in the heart. My daughters have cardiogenic neurogenic syncope, which means their blood pressure drops, their heart races and they try to pass out.
Sorry about that, jera. For some reason I had cystic fibrosis in my head. spina bifida...educate me (we got off on another tangent the other day when I was going to ask you about it).
I'm in Hamilton Montana, southwestern part of the state, near Idaho.
Can anyone help with the e's? I've got: taking nourishment long period of time fencing equipment
Spina bifida is when the spinal column doesn't quite complete & sometimes there's an open spot at the base of the spine. It makes everything below the rupture a crap shoot. Jen can tell you how funny I walk... :D
the only other one I've got amanda is the plural added to the root word of the ea6 that you have.
Hey I'm back... hubby called from his trip, dog peed on the floor, son slipped in it...
The ep7 has no definition... let me think up a good clue...
But it isn't related to the passing out with pregnancy, right? What about the hydrocephalous?
sounds like you are having a joyful morning Jen.
Eww, gross jen. Your poor son!!
jen, sounds like lots of excitement at your house.
The fun never ends, does it, Jen? Poor thing...
I think he's acting out because he has to stay in the bathroom at night and when we are at home, he can wander around.
The dog, of course, not my son. :) My son has a bed to sleep in. :)
Jera don't forget the ep7 clue - I'm waiting with bated breath!!
I didn't pass out with the pregnancy, that was just when I was little. I just couldn't get it under control & it hurt! My heartrate was 186, very painful. Hydrocephalus is too much fluid in the brain, I have a shunt that drains out the excess. I am a human barometer, though, can always tell when pressure is rising!
LOL, jen. When I was pregnant with our fourth, we lived in a 700 sq. ft. apt. I told my hubby that if we didn't find a bigger place, the baby was going to have to sleep in the bathtub! How old is the poor innocent victim of your dog's unhappiness?
e + sharp sewing item, not a needle + 2 vowels, then normal plural. Whew! Not tidy at all, sorry...
4 1/2... I just don't know what I am going to do about the dog! We are down here for another 2 weeks!
I'm behind, jen. Where are you?
So does your head hurt when the pressure rises, jera?
Down in Florida visiting my parents whilst hubby is away.
My hubby is in Florida right now for work (he goes every two weeks). He's in Miami. Hates it!
Jera - it was a great clue - thanks a million
Got it! Thx, jera. FYI, I googled it and it's "in architecture, is the open vestibule behind the nave" - the things one learns in Babbleland!
Jera - great clue for the ep7 thank you so much! I need to go do a few things with the kids be back later.
I'm up at the very top in Tallahassee.
Yes, smithchick, but I just up my meds a bit & I'm usually okay... unless it's a really big storm, then I take to my bed... the worst part is I can't cry, that just makes it worse!!
Youch! You can't cry ever? Are you and jen related?
I didn't think to google... I just clicked on the dictionary.com link... I think if the link doesn't know, it shouldn't be valid. But that's just me...
Jera, please take care of yourself!! We need another coffee run when I get back! :)
Most of the time I'm too lazy to look farther than the dictionary.com link too - but sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. I'm still missing 1 e ... anyone?
Amanda, did you find your e?
Nope - I've resorted to the list, but started at the bottom - still at the r's
It's an eo6/18. Having to do with a measure of time
Ah! Great, thanks. I was in the other corner...
Your welcome!
Jera, I hope I didn't offend you with all of my nosy questions.
Well, I've got to go. Duty (and guilt) calls. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be socked in and will be able to babble to my heart's content! Bye everybody...
Jera, you have spina bifida?
bye smithchick
anybody been talkin' about ag8 lately by any chance?
oh my, i just realize nobody has been talking about ANYTHING for almost half an hour!
ag + a country
thanks, chris
yes, thank you
Hi everyone! Hurshy I love the icon!!! It's one of my favorite pieces at the Louvre!!
hi hurshy
Hi there, Lupe
hi munner!
yeah, i didn't like much at the louvre other than sculpture. i preferred the paintings at the musee d'orsay.
and hi everyone. :)
I actually love both museums - the d'orsay does have some beautiful paintings!
yw
smithchick, you still there? i see what you said about eo6 but can't find the right ending...
Hi Guys back for another round
hi adsman!
is it me or does everyone else keep seeing great?
anyone else who has the eo6 is also welcome to jump in here...
totally, adsman!
help with on7?
Not able to jump on that one.
hurshy - ending is a boy's name
e6 = e3/3 meaning v long period of time from right hand e on top row + 3 letter boys name
thanks atalante - could've sworn i tried that, too!
Afternoon all.......
na6 other than country?
na6 - remove t and add s
thanks doxy! interesting word.
hurshy na same begining and end different letter in middle
argh, i hate to ask for so many clues, but, ni5?
ni5,6 - baby lice + opposite of off
tried it with an a...why a? why a? why not o? thank you doxy. (humble look)
the e6 I cant see the 3 letter boys name?
adsman - the name of the guy who played steve on 90210, if you happen to know that... no wait, sir mckellan is more well known
Adsman, boy's name begins with a vowel. I hunted for it for a long time, and one of my grandson's has that name as his middle name. Duh/!
not to mention much more of a respectable actor to admit to knowing...
Thanks Hurshy got a touch of babble blindness
adsman James Bond writer
does anyone know how many words today?
oh BOTHER, there are just too many things no7 could be! help?
218 words
cant say I was a big 90210 fan Hurshy have you something to tell us?? ; )

hurshy no7/36 hangman uses it
thanks munner, should've guessed i suppose, but who knew it could take a participial form?
Oh yeah got the clue thanks... : )
afternoon babblers. :)
ok, senior year in college i would sit and watch back-to-back reruns of 90210 at 5 and 6 PM - skip dinner, often - and suck my dorm-mates into watching it too.
Afternoon evanadine..nobody answered me when i said hello (crying and sobbing at being ignored)
sorry - hi eve, caitlyn -
I mean eva -!!
hi caitlyn, didn't mean to be rude. Grandbaby came over for grandma to babysit.
HI CAITLYNN
hi evaN
Caitlyn!!! Greetings from Atlanta.
Thanks i feel better now!!
My Girlfriend did that with Dawsons creek Hurshy *cringes at the name*
doxy - finally got to that on7 if you still need it - an actor comes on7
And Evanadine, didn't see you had come into the room
I found it, thanks though
ok, now the difference is that 90210 you watch because it's so bad it's good, whereas dawson's is not endurable because NOBODY TALKS LIKE THAT!
Thanks hurshy. I needed that one too.
ok, down to 48 p's, r's, s's, and t's. got to go to lunch though and finish later. sorry to any dawson's fans out there...but i stand by what i said. :)
Well, I am off to get something to eat. Just got back last night from the west coast (I have a beautiful new granddaughter, and was out meeting her and helping her parents.) and slept in until 11:00. Stayed up last night and Babbled the first hour of the new puzzle.
I thought all americans teenagers talk like that *runs and hides*
bye munner - congratulations!
later hurshy and munner
bye hurshy!
Congratulations munner!!!
bye Lupe (Thanks) and hurshy

Pe 7 and 8 a type of flag or baseball's pe***** race.
Hi everyone! : )
Hi Lola!
Many thanx Deutsch...... And greetings to lola.....
yw, movieman
Hey deutsch, movieman : )
Good choice for an icon, lola..... I've decided to go with The Angel of the North...... (And no, I'm not a Geordie)......
hi lola!
and what is your pic??
Thanks movieman, do you know where it is? I want to see your statue some day...have a feeling it is mighty impressive : ) Hi atalante : )
Hi everbody : )
Hey babe! (((xxx))) : )
Lola, in case you were wondering, it stands near the A1 in Gateshead in the North East of England, marking the southern entry to Tyneside and on the edge of the Great North Forest. It towers 20 metres over it's hilltop landscape and has a wing span of 54 metres.
Hi, Anj...... Looking at your icon, it would have been ideal for Valentine's Day......LOL
Phew! I broke my own self-imposed ban on large puzzles, and have JUST finished. Just as well, because I have to go out to a committee meeting this evening, so cheerio folks.
Hi anj
movieman, have you seen it then? atalante, mine is the statue of Paul Kruger outside one of the gates into the Kruger National Park. I have pics (somewhere) of me standing underneath it : )
Well done, Wrennie.....
Hi babe ((xx)) : ) Hi Movieman : ) ...anyone need anyone special shot by an arrow?? } )
Well done exwren, and 'bye : )
Yea, for ExWren
Lola, not yet, I just got the info from a website, the address being http://www.kenfinn.demon.co.uk /angel/
Yay! Ex-Wren : ) Howdy Deutsch : )
I really think gnip should be a word!
Thanks movieman, have made a note of that and will check it out later : )
Hey Anj? I've had three strange vikings looking at my lastfm page today! lol ; )
Howdie.... Anj - kept this icon until I saw you...did you miss Futurama day??? I didn't see you on....
Hi EB! : )
hi lola...
I didn't realise the icons were statues, or I would have changed to the War Memorial at Woodstock, in Oxfordshire, which has my Dad's name inscribed on it!
I had some of those last night : / I reckon they must look at bands they like and click on me as a top fan... Hi EB : ) I played at a weird time yesterday as I was out during the normal Babbling Hour. Sorry : / Nice icon lol
oh! I haven't been to Kruger ... mine is the leopard sentinel overlooking Hout Bay on the Cape :)
I drew it special for ya, Anj!!
Hi EB
Aww cheers EB : ) I had a 'doctored' Bender pic : )
....and now I'm with the theme of today...(not drawn by me...) Hiya Deutsch!
Anj - it wasn't too bad to draw...lots of pix to model them on....
hmmm..is that the widdling guy from Copenhagen?
(it's Brussels....) and yes...official name is the Manneken Pis
Sorry, but I have to leave y'all for the time being because my mother is asbout to give someone another one of her head massages.... But don't worry, I'll be back soon.........
later Movieman : )
...that na4/4 is back again : /
...gotta go back to work...I hope to be back later... altho' with the winds we're having, I might end up in Oz!!
With all the other latin words we have, why not anno?
...I find Rennie helps ; )
need a clue for the ag8...saw the clue earlier about ag+na6 but I don't have the na6 yet
Cyber, it's capitalised...as it normally comes with Domini : )
shoot, nevermind, just saw a new clue below
na6 country
na6/18 - a people
that ag8 has made an appearance before... ...and caused the same amount of confusion if my memory serves me corectly lol : )
Aaargh, I give up! I've been looking for the pe7/40 for ages...please help?? : )
its another flag for flag
another word even!!!
pe 7/40 present participle of pe4/5
just getting started and I am stuck on the on6 -- help, pls,ty
Happy Friday everyone! :)
oops sorry wrong one. I'll shut up now and go and sit in a corner LOL
just got it -- thanks anyway
on 6 - add ag4/6
last an5?
*smacks forehead* Thanks guys! Have to bath small person, back in a bit : )
Plural of an 4 meaning against
thanks. I *swear* I typed that before too...guess not!
Of the three an 4/4's in the middle, I have the bird ... What am I missing, please?
The two you are missing begin and end with the same letters as the bird. The third letters are consonants which follow each other in the alphabet
Hello! It's freezing here (first and last day of winter!). I think the winds gonna knock our house into the trees. I've voided a trip to the store and decided to Babble myself retarded!
ea6?
st7/28, anyone ? and Hi Bunny :)
I have the insects, but two words that an an+consonant+plural?
st 7/28 - ends in number between eight ten
ea6 - having to do with ea4 (ending can be a man's name)
Outnumbered - which ea 6 are you looking for?
Thank you Haz ! :)
Cybernan - one of the plurals is the latin ending (two vowels)
I thought the list said there's only one ea6?
You're right! I was looking at an eo 6 - the ea 6 has to do with food.
ea6 is the present participle of the ea 4/4 (singular)
cybernan, I think there are 4 an4/4's in the middle birds, one that ends like the gent with the ark, and two that begin and end with the same letter, each having a different consonant second to last
WHY am I missing these easy words??? ty though!
Haz, who's the pic of?
It's my daughter, Louise. It's her 22nd birthday today, so my icon is in her honour.
Happy Birthday to her! She's a beautiful girl, I thought I saw a resemblance between your picture and that one.
Whew -- got them -- thanks everyone.
Happy Birthday to Louise ! (If I were talented like EB, I'd draw a little cake here. But I'm not, so we'll just imagine it!!)
Thank you - I thought she was beautiful when she was born and am still biased!
co 6/27?
the first co 6/27?
Another of those present participle endings for co4/5
sorry Haz, I have complete lackof grammar knowledge today - whats the present participle ending??!!
My last word... re7/36... Help?! *getting the fish ready...*
re7/36 - a French present participle ending
Build on the re 5 before it.
Ahh.. thank you again! At least it wasn't a common word :) And I'm Done!
Well done!
congrats, bugsy
can someone pleeease explain the present participle clue bit to me ....?
Atalante - the present participle ending is this endING...
oh! thanks Bugzy!
TY Haz and Cybernan Never thought I'd get through those pesky sa's :) *takes a bow*
It was the pi's that nearly did for me!
Those too, Haz :/
I'm going to have to give in and look at BJs list in a minute. 28 words to go
holy cow that's a lot of pi's
Holy Cannoli, Atalante, you got that far without the list! That's impressive!! *bows down to Atalante*
I'm really really trying not to use the list at the moment, I find I learn any new words better when I have to sweat for them!!!!
re7 -- did you mean add the french paticiple to the 5/14? -- tried that and get a not valid!
I can do it sometimes on the less than 100 words puzzles, but on these long ones I need BJ ( and sometimes a2z too) !
Yes, add two letters to the re5/14 to give the word meaning reigning.
I do love a2z! I try not to use it, but its blissful when you open it and find a word you simply could not find!
ah, they weren't so bad. the pi's i mean.
Will have to go back to it, Haz -- tried them all and still come up with a blank.
The best part of the pi's was finding the pi7/32. Great word, when one is being condescending :)
lol yes! its fab!
Cybernan - the re7 ends in the picnic pest, if that helps
evening all ruthy r u there?
It did, Bugzy, thanks.
ep 7?
Hi Sha :) ep7 - ep + vowel + na4/4 (the last na4/4)
If they aren't going to count Satan, why do they keep putting him in the puzzle?
thanks bugzy i needed that one too
Thank you, Bugzy -- a twofer!
You're welcome :)
Santa, too, Veruca ! :)
na 6/18? -- have the country
i am missing one of the middle na4/4's I have the one in the ep7 and the cyber**** one, can anyone help me out?
Change the middle letter for the previous consonant.
caelle - change the last letter of the ep7 one to a vowel
Caelle -- you're missing the one that ends in two vowels
There's one of the na's that's a variant of Indian bread. Looks like a girl's name pluralised.
I'm back and I wanted to ask...has anyone else ever played the drinking game called co7/40?
...er, no : /
I"m back, too. Never heard of it, Lola
Never heard of it -- do you get paid to drink?
I've played one called Quarters, Lola...
Anj -- that statue looks like the one on top of the Virgin office building in London -- is that it?
thanks cybernan, thought i'd tried that one.
Cyber, it's Eros in Piccadilly Circus : )
co7/40 involves bouncing a coin off a flat surface into a drinking glass. It is a veritable national sport amongst south african varsity students : )
oops sorry bugzy - not ignoring you, just didn't see your clue till now - thanks for the help
Ah, that's the same game called Quarters for us, Lola :) And Hi to everyone who just came in, too :)
No problem, and you're welcome Caelle :)
Cool bugzy! Wanna join me for a game in the babble bar when we finish?? : )
Still looking for na 6/18 - not the country
ag8? Skimmed by a clue earlier, but can't find it now!
cyber, change the t to a more curvacious letter for the na 6 18
Absolutely, Lola :) Have you ever tried rolling the co4/5 off your nose? My roommate in college swore by that method !
ag plus the na6 - people/country
Ty, Deutsch
ty
I'm already done, so I'll be practicing... :) *clink* *clink*...
bugzy, don't forget to run a pencil over the edge several times. Makes an interesting mark
LOL Deutsch !
...hmm, i'm i#m mortal combat with the Ps and 7 elude me. Any strange 2nd letters like n or h?? : /
Still have 17 to go, but off to have lunch and watch the end of the Olympic curling -- unfortunately, Canada is being whipped by the Finns.
bugzy, lol, no I haven't! I always found I had to throw the co4 quite hard to get it to bounce high enough : )
finished! and sorry, Anj, no strange starting combinations for p's
Good Evening everyone......* bows left and right, smiles happily, and says...YEAH...I've got alnight to babble !*
thanks for your help everyone, i'm down to the pi's now, looks a little daunting so i'm taking a break bye
Cheers Atalante : ) Hi Karys : )

he5 that isn't a dye?
...no pexo? I thought thwas south african stuffing! ; )
Ha ha ha. Ha. : P
Good afternoon. Coming back for another swoop at the pi and re words.
outnumbered, another word for 'therefore'. Rhymes with what separates one garden from another : )
Hi musicmom : )
aha--thanks lola. my eyes just don't turn certain ways sometimes!
Hi Lola! I'm on the phone brb
There is a he5/12, red hair dye. He6 is the plural. Hi musicmom :)
Doh ... misunderstood the request - Sorry :/
I'm missing and na 4/4 in the middle, the two I have are defined as cella?
My connection is REALLY unstable : ' ( Anyone else having problems?? I keep losing the site...
bugzy, I think you should slow down with the practicing, lol! ; )
My grid is taking forever to load if I move pages, or if it loads at all!
Not losing the site but it is acting a bit weird : /
Sorry Anj, do you need me to say that again slower for you?? ; )
LOL Lola ! But I'm reeely starting to gett gooood at tihs noww.... *clink*
Bunny - try na plus first letter again and pluralise
If I try to type in oregano one more time, I'm gonna pull that last tuft of hair out!
LOL bunny!
Yeah, fishy moment there, thanks Haz!
LOL bugzy! You know, for the life of me I can't remember the point of that game. One drink and I'm merry, two and I'm anybody's, so it isn't any wonder! : )

Sorry the phone rang just as I sat down here. Now I'm back. <g>
ANJ! lol...he's right tho : / : )

hi sherb :)
karys, you want to be addING to the first pe4/5 then ; )
hi sherb
Hi Sherb.
Hi sherb : )
Hi Sherb. Hi Lupe :) Lola - I preferred the dice drinking game we played, 3 Man. Now that one I can't remember the rules... Or much of anything else that went on while playing it!! LOL
Hi Bugzy!
thanks lola....got it :)
hi everyone :D ...monumental evening...
Afternoon all: What a great Friday, we are on school vacation for a week!!! Unfortunately no money for trips but still happy to be home!!!
hi speed!
hello speed :)
We made up a game that was called m&m backgammon. If you landed on an M & M, you got to eat it. If you didn't, you had to take a shot. Seems rather odd now.
hi speed :D
Hi Sherb, Speed, Lupe : )
Hi Anj!!
bugzy, sounds like fun! : ) Hi speed! : )
Just makes me crave chocolate m&ms
deutsch, most drinking games do when you are sober. That is because most of them are invented by drunk people : )
*Anj hurredly removes 400g pack of mini-eggs from view* : /
Hi Speed :) That's a new one for me, Deutsch ! But chocolate + doing shots - yikes !!
Me? Drunk? In college? Noooooo. Well, maybe LOL
I think I'm lost in the sea of p
lupe... nummy
we played good old fashioned Quarters.... after a while we didn't care if it went in the glass or not...DRINK!
Hey smaller!
Anj, if you don't share I will be forced to use the mommy voice! *gives Anj the no nonsense mommy look*
ello sha
...eek! *produces pack again* Dig in : )
There was also this one called Cardinal Puff... that was bizarre too. Of course, can't remember much more about that one either... I, of course, NEVER drank in college ;)
hooray ello ruthy how u doing?
*lola throws musicmom a P shaped float*
Thanks Lola --- you're a lifesaver.
got 84 left sorry didnt know u was on till i just looked
you kept the drinking in the bars and in the dorm, and not in college bugzy?
lupe, hey! That's how all our games ended too...lol! : D
ello ruthy and sha
ello katiekat
Good boy Anj! *thinks* If only that worked as well on my three year old... : /
ello katiecat
is my daughter behaving?
Well, I graduated from college when I was 20, so of course I never drank in college, cause I was underage... Now my sister, who was 3 years older and conveniently left her ID at my place a few times, she drank A LOT ;)
Okay. I need help. It appears I'm missing two pe 6/21. I have the one that is the plural of a word that sounds like one cent.
yea she's fine the on a mad 1 at the minute. larlie just lost another front tooth lol
Bugzy, LOL! The drinking age in SA is 18, btw : )
:-D lola.... so I have a question. I am not a wine drinker.... only like the sweeter ice wine/port/reisling type. since red wine is suppose to be good for you, I want to try....any recommendations??
god will need her food liquidised soon lmao
Musicmom - give that pe 6 a vowel ending
m/mom, change the plural letter of the one you have to the first vowel : )
Lupe - I love Pinot Noir. Especially with a chocolate too.
And since we're just a few minutes from Canada, where the drinking age is 19, there were quite a few runs for the border, too :)
Thanks Haz and Lola
The other pe 6/21 also has a two vowel latin ending
musicmom - any particular brand??
Sorry lupe, don't drink red or white wine : /
i know lol. daz is here they winder him up a treat, mind he's winding them up aswell lol
Thanks Haz. Lupe - Let me see if my husband remembers what we had the other night. Gallo has a good one but we had a different one.
only champers lola???
thx musicmom....
lupe, only babble champers actually, lol! The real stuff gives me awful headaches. I stick to vodka mostly : )
Any clues for the pi 6/21 immediately before the pi 4/5 measure of beer?
cyber... si 6/24 replace the first letter with p
Lupe - It was one of the Australian wines --- I think maybe it was Shiraz - it had a kangaroo on the bottle.
hi everone - hope you are all ok...i only seem to be able to make it on 1 night a week so far...lets hope things improve now ma in law is out of hospital and nights are getting back to normal
cyber, both pi6/21's are plurals of the pi5/12 : )
not many wines with kangaroos on them -- I'll look for it. Thanks!
Hi cathb! That's good news. Is she doing okay then? : )
think I'm a pi missing....I have pi4x11 pi5x55 pi6x6 p i7x2
We like several of those. Another good Aussie brand is Little Penguin. I particularly like their chardonnay.
Thanks, Lola... pi 7/32 -- the first one, following Columbus' ship
karys, another pi7 : )
Whistling Duck ! : )
thanks lola :)
Anj, I told you I wouldn't do that! ; )
hi Lola (big hug long time no see)...yes thanks she is a lot better..still a long way to go though..
Hi CathB. Hopefully she'll continue to get better :)
: P Hi CathB : )
hi bugsy,hi anj
Aw, thanks cathb! Big hugs back (((x))). How's snowy??
Hi cath and anyone I may have missed because the s's are driving me crazy
anyone have a clue for the second co6/27 Thanks
while ya'll are diggin for clues, p7/32 between the two p4/5's?
Snowy is fine Lola....she is out tonight for a meal (county exec - guiding commissioners etc)..she has has the children a lot too recently.we are off to Bath next weekend for a short break.we could all do with it
Sorry no help with those clues. I'm still looking too.
Hi All - reading back and saw reference to wine with a kangaroo and think it may be Yellow Tail
bunny, add an insect to the end of the first pi4 : )
Speedfreak, what a baby does before it talks, rhymes with what a cow does
speed, the sound doves make : )
ooo - are we talking alcohol already
still looking for the first pi 7/32
Thx Got It:)
Doll --- thanks that's it! Yellow Tail - Lola.
cathb, that's lovely! Anj took me to Bath the last time I visited him in Bristol and it's an amazing place : )
musicmom, thanks but it was lupe who was asking : )
I knew that - it was my fingers that didn't <slap slap>
it is lola...i love it there.i often go on day "shopping" trips with work or school..we also had a weekend there last year
cyber, the first pi7 is a plural of the pi6 : )
pi 7 /32, please -- the first one?
got it musicmom - see that advertised all over the place - guess I'll try it ....
musicmom, careful, you'll get done for monkey abuse! : D
Sorry -- it is the second one that I need!
Hope the typing police aren't here today.
Cyber, it's the plural of the decorative thingy that blindfold children hit with sticks to get sweets : ) It was in yesterday's as well I think...
lola, its the last 7/32 I need....
cyber, it's the container filled with sweets that gets bashed with sticks : )
cybernan - the other pi7 - thats the pi5 before it + negative
Cyber, add the opp of yes to the 5/12 before it
Ah, right in that case, naughty word for insignificant... ; )
bunny, add an insect to the end of 'take a leak' : )
ahh, ty
Hey Lola - that clue works!
Thankyou Bunny and Bugzy
musicmom! All my clues work! lol :D
...ah II...so it's the one I didn't have lol! drinkap....milkaday plus Roman for year less an N : )
Lola - I know - I'm always excited when you and Haz are around.
Ooops afraid that was rude --- I get lots of good help from many of the babblers.
Why musicmom, that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me all day! lol : D
Musicmom, thank you for the compliment. I had left for a while there but am back again.
yw. I really do appreciate all the help I get here. I would never finish without it.
ni 5 and 6?
ni plus imperial measurement and plural
out, add a heavy weight and then pluralise : )
on 7?
on 7 describes where an actor works.
thanks! I'm amazed I'm this far along. feels good to be moving along down the list!
Thanks, Haz -- didn't think of that as being one word.
haz, happy birthday to your daughter, btw! She is gorgeous! : )
But you still have the p's to do....
off to sort a few things out (husband just gone to work and daughter not due home for 2 hours or so)..may be back later if not good night all and hope to see you all over the weekend sometime
UGH the p. words. ICK
Well, it's been fun but I must go fetch the kids ... Have a good day-evening-whatever, everyone! :)
Thank you, Lola - she lacks confidence in her looks but I think she's lovely!
eo 6?
'p's done....thanks for help lola :)
'bye cathb, take a hug with you (cathb)...and one for snowy! (snowy) : )
I think she's lovely too !!!
'bye bugzy : )
Bye Buszy
bye bugzy :)
eo 6 is an adjective to do with eo4
BuGzy -- sheesh need slapped again.
thanks lola - and one for you too ((lola))...from us both
Haz, it's so often the case with young girls! She is lovely, tell her we all said so! : )
Aww cathb, I can FEEL the love tonight! lol, thanks : )
She'll be mortified that I have had her picture up here!
Oops! : D
haz....I can just imagine her reaction !!!
Both my daughters fail to appreciate how pretty they are - I just wish they could enjoy themselves without agonising over supposed problems with their looks.
wish they could see themselves as we see them !!
Okay I'm a little slow following the log - Haz I didn't realize that was your daughter. She is one beautiful young lady!
This is bringing back the memories of how proud I was of my beautiful baby girl - 22 years ago today!
Anyway, how goes the pinning down of the p's?
I'm down to two words the third sa6/24 and the ta7/36 (which I have a horrible feeling I will be getting the fish for : /)...help, please? *bats eyelashes in case Anj is looking* *_*
sa 5/16 ? (between the biochemist and french without)
*lola hands haz tissue* : )
'p's pinned... (with help from lola)....'s's here
The two sa6/24 only differ in the vowel used at the end
cyber, same first four letters as the sa6/24 but add another high scoring letter on the end (the one you'd least expect too!) : )
ta 7/36 rhymes with boss of an office
cyber, same first four letters as the sa6/24, then add a high scoring consonant : )
Thanks haz : )
Thanks, Haz
i desperately need the last two pi/72 if anyone can help please
Stereo!
haz, I need the sa6/24 after those...please? : )
sa plus ta4/6
mo, for the last one think a liquid measure (or what you order in a pub!) plus the first vowel plus opposite of yes : )
sa 5/10 following french without -- not the holy one
The other pi 7/32 is a French type word building off the lavatorial pi4/5
need help with the no6's and the oa4, I have the one you eat
Thanks haz! : )
The sa 5/10 is like a Spanish saint but with a masculine ending.
lola tyvm i have that one now
mo, sorry, that was the second to last one. The last one is slang for 'go to the toilet' plus an insect : )
The other oa 4 just requires you to shift round your last two letters.
Statues, eh? Afternoon all.
ty for all the recent clues. My messages seem to be getting lost in cyberspace.
I have the saint -- what is the other one?
out, no6's: think sniffing and writing down : )
no6 - one is an idea, the other is the act of paying attention.
I swear I tried that oa *multiple* times. Am I just going crazy and hallucinating or does it sometimes not recognize what you typed as a correct word when it is? but thanks, that was driving me up the wall
sa 5/10 sa plus evil or wrongdoing
Hi judi! : )
outnumbered - I think we have all experienced times when words seem to go astray. I don't know why!
Hello Judi!
I'm getting a late start today. Had to take a sick day. Feeling kind of flu-ish. Just head and body aches. No tummy upset. For that I am thankful. Just sleeping a lot. :-((
I hope you feel better soon.
i need help with sa5/16 and the last sa5/10 please
Thanks, Haz.
two words left (and I have read all the previous clues): sa 5/10 after french without (have the one ending in a circle) eo 6/18
cybernan - eo 6/18 - long period of time, plus man's name (Scottish for John)
cyber....is it the one thats shiny material with a different middle letter ?
mo, sa5/16 is the past tense of what you do to a song plus a high scoring consonant. Any idea which sa5/10 you need?
Do you have the one that sounds like the end of the word for a hired killer?
Oops, just read your last post mo...LAST sa5/10! Give me a sec : )
The two sa 5/10's after 'without' are First three letters same as 'without' then part of foot digit Sa plus first part of si4/4 (mathematical)
mo, sa5/10 is the plural of sa4/4 : )
Hello, 50 go here.
The very very last sa 5/10 - past tense of sit, plus form of verb 'to be'
lola thank you ...i am trying to keep up with all these clues ...please bear with me
Thank you, Haz *audible sigh* -- feel like a dunce, but I am finished!
no worries mo, it's a nightmare some times! Just let us know what you need : )
Don't feel like a dunce! CONGRATULATIONS!
lola can you help me with an st6....have the one ending in a number, and the insect one ...
Congrats Okay i"m still here but taking a moment to regroup.

karys, do you mean st6 or st7's??
sorry ...yes the 7's
Yay! Well done cyber : )

st 6/24: one who organizes a theatrical production
ruthy and sha how u doing?
I need the 2nd ra 6/18 to finish, please!?!?!
Hax thank you too
karys, think what you call cupboards or bookcases. Or think where you shop plus how old you are : )
One ra 6/18 is a portion, measured amount The other ra 6/18 uses an s instead of n for the last letter
sorry Haz...mis typed
oooooo.....lola !!!...how silly....thak you so much !!!!
bunny, ra plus one of the things you find on a fork : )
No problem , Mo!

Good night Haz. I'm down to 27 more.
'bye haz, thanks for all the help : )
Good Night, Haz -- thanks for the help.
goodnight Haz....say hello to the birthday girl...and Many Happy Returns... :)
the Pe5/12 sounds like an american one cent coin. 6/21 is the plural 6/21 change the plural to a vowel.
mo, for the pe5/12 take something you write with, repeat the last consonant and add the 'me' vowel : )
mo, musicmom's clue is MUCH better...look at hers : )
pe5/12 coins dropping from heaven without the last two letters...
pe 5/12: one cent (substitute last letter) pe 6/21: add a vowel to the 5/12 pe 6/21: add a consonant to the 5/12
201 and I think I can stand to grovel for help now : )
I really don't want to get up, but I need to go put dinner together. I will return after the meal because I only have 26 to go. I know I can finish today.

The pi6 and 7 is that thing that kids hit with a stick at b-day parties.

There is a pi 6 that follows the pi 7, I just gave you that is the plural of the 5/12 (columbus ship)
harp, re5/10take a word meaning opposite of fake, lose the last letter and add a short version of 'thank you'. Pluralise for the re6/18 : )

mo, lol! : D
Hi evanonut! Long time, no see. How goes it with hubby? : )
if it's the ones you think they are, change the second s to a vowel
that is, I think they come in between pi + opposite of off, and the peeing one.
hey lola!!!
could i get some help with the sa 6/24 that follows the pair of 5/10's?
Cheers babe : ) Hi Ren : )
hurshy, that was it, thanks!!!
out, take the peeing pi4 and swap the last letter for the 'hoop' vowel. Pluralise for the 5 : )

The gangs all here I see, 100 left so here goes....
First St7 St + first vowel + a number
hey schro, don't think i've seen you in a while. i just finished!
we're going to have to work on that ren - read that intro of yours in babs anon, you work more that company policy lets us work - perhaps a stun gun will help you stop.
Ty tigereye, but that's a 7/28-have that
st7's: st plus first vowel plus number after eight. For the other one think a place where you shop and how old you are : )
T time : ) 12 x 4, 2 x 5 and 1 x 7 so far missing a T : ) ...probably a rich one ; )
redshoe st7...squirrels do this with their nuts over winter
* hugs* Lola - Oh I'm glad Cath had time to babble -she is very busy with work & her mum in law at present - she needs some relax time. I had a really nice time - It was dinner with the exec committee for Guiding in our County, its nice to have time to be sociable instead of trying to get loads of decisions made!
Congrats Hurshy, work has been seriously interferring with my Babble addiction recently so I have been in and out alot
ta4 x 7, ti4 x 2, to4 x 4 : )
you say nut mo?
work? WORK? what kind of an excuse is that?

snowy, I've been meaning to ask you... what age is good to start my daughter at brownies?
It's Friday..... It's Friday....... *mamabear enters chat log singing Happy Friday song to all!!!*

lola - I say she should start eating brownies as soon as she has enough teeth!!!!

Hi mamabear! LOL, good advice! : D
...mmmm, yet another word that I'm sure I previously tried... *drums fingers on table* : /
34 words left!!!!! Would anyone like to help me with the first pi 7/32 and the st 7/28 please????
Lola - She can start Rainbows at 5 yrs. They have loads of fun & its a good way of getting her ready for Brownies at 7. Rainbows have a lovely new programme with lots to do. Its quite relaxed and unstructured. They tend to work in larger groups than Brownies who work in sixes. We play games & sing and run about a lot & do lots of simple crafts. They are a delight!!!!!
sa5/16 is puzzling me ....but not i guess most of you out there HELP PLEASE
Oh Hurshy my Brownies are a riot!!!! Its changed loads since the old days you know!
Missing an A from the bottom right : ? Have 11 x 4, 6 x 5, 1 x 6 and 1 x 8... haaaayulp! ;: )
I remember being in brownies!!!! I was in the pan with the nuts......
snowy, are rainbows different to brownies?
no nut...no stun gun...hey i'm stunning already!!!!
well, the pinko commie part was just to be goofy. but i really didn't like brownies. however, that is only because i was extremely shy and didn't like having to interact with so many other kids. and at the father-daughter dance, i was terrified of the other fathers!
ae4 x 2, ag4 x 1, ai4 x 1, an4 x 8 : )
i never heard about no rainbows - but i was a brownie, i showed up for precisely one meeting.
ok nut...i know i'm going to really get stunned now!!!
(((((Mamabear))))) how are you? I hope they aren't working you to hard.... Pi 7 is a flag, plural for pi8
no, no, no ren - no stunning. i was going to -give- you a stun gun. you should use it on anyone that tells you to work.
No Lola same org. - different age group. If you go ot www.girlguiding.org.uk you will be able to find out about Rainbows. If you ask around locally you should find someonne who knows a group near you -dont be afraid to contact a guider -we are generally a friendly bunch. If i can help any further feel free to ask!
mo, sa5/16, past tense or what you do in the shower (lalalala!) and a double scoring consonant : )
pi 7/32 - didn't know that was a real word, i'll be!
whew nut!!!! i thought you were going to stun me out of sorking.... hurshy...i never beloinged to brownies...however so many people at my school did...like a dufus - i sepnt my allowance on a brownie dress and beanie ane wore it to school.....what a silly rabbit i was....
spell check...working...not snorkling

Thank you : D Ps up next... Mine's a Spingo, lol : D
LOLA ...YOU HAVE COME UP TRUMPS AGAIN THANK YOU
snowy, thanks so much (will let you get on with babble now!). She is only three and a half now, so will start looking in a years time. She loves taking part in activities so I think she would love the rainbows! : )

Hi Anj. Tricky grid today!
Hi Jac. I missed you coming in.
Jac, managed it without the lists but the last 18 took me the best part of two hours : / The Pi's are killers...
Well I'm giving up for tonight - too tired to look any more! See you all tomorrow I hope. Happy Babbling all & sweet dreams when its time.
Hi MM. 'Night Snowy.
OK Last s it is st5/12 after what the bee does with the 4th vowel on the end Please Thank You
'nite Snowy : )
st5/12 - A supporting stalk or stemlike structure, especially the stalk of a pistil, the petiole of a fern frond, or the stalk that supports the cap of a mushroom.
Thx Jac now down to one lousy n word and only 4 letters you would think it should be easy but NOOO

*~*~*~FIREWORKS FOR OUTNUMBERED*~*~*~*~
aw, thanks :)
hello folks, any help with the ag 8?
ag+na6 that means a country
(Still got 9 words left to find here.) Was side-tracked for a while as my son arrived home, having driven down the lanes in thick fog, and told me of a strange experience he'd just had. The more he told me of the animal he had to drive around because it was eating something at the roadside and wouldn't move, the more I'm convinced it WAS a grey wolf that he encountered. Unlikely, but not impossible.
ooh thanks outnumbered. didn't have that na either :)
I'm still around for clue giving. Checking my email and watching the Olympics, I'll flip back and forth.
Hi All!!! Happy Friday nite! (except for those of you who work nites or have to work on Saturday!)....... I am done with pu-zzle........ *la la la la la la*
it was a good clue--one given to me earlier, LOL. I didn't have the na either.
congrats mama!
Hi Mamabear- iI'm done too!!!
Hi Mama.
what events are on olympics tonight musicmom?
Ice dance compulsories. Women's combined skiing and I don't know what else.
Yikes, jacula!!! he had the animal in his car with him??????
ooh, I may have to turn that on then. trying to get the kids to pick up though so can't have any tv just yet or they won't lift a finger
This was a rather nice grid today, I thought!!!
snowboarding and skeleton too, i believe
Yes mama - not too bad for a big one but the re's snagged me again.
my 6 y/o is going to want to see the snowboarding...wish he'd finish picking up instead of wrestling his brother!
mamabear--I liked it too other than it was so darn long!
I think the women's snowboard cross race is on tonight as well. I had a good time watching the men last night.
outnumbered... tell them that it is time for the "compulsory pick up the clutter Olympic event" and the winner will receive...... something..... ice cream?
haha--nothing like sugar right before bed ;) but it's a weekend, that could be ok for tonight. girl scout cookies for cleaning--hmm, maybe I will clean too!
Good one mama. My 11 year old got caught lying this week (about doing chores) so she is my slave for the weekend.
out - yes, it was a biggie - I started at the flip and got about 135 before going to bed. That made it not seem as long today... but made for a day full of yawns as well! LOL
no, no outnumbered, you're the adult -- you don't even have to clean for the cookies!
Out - you get the cookies for being the mama.
I didn't start in till this morning so it felt like I was here all day. Liked finding so many on my own...but there were so many more still left, LOL
No Mama - He saw its eyes in his headlights and slowed down, and then had to drive around it. It was far too big to be a German Shepherd dog.
that's right outnumbered.... you make them pick up whilst they watch YOU eat the cookies!!!! Gotta love being an adult!!! NOT - LOL
Jacula--how scary! I wouldn't want to pass a skunk on the road, let alone a wolf!
wow, jac, what an experience. I have come close to hitting a deer a few times.... it's heart stopping!
Did everybody already eat dinner? I am hungry but don't know what I want....... don't have a taste for my usual honey and raw salmon fresh out of the river - LOL
We had Chicken Wellington, sliced peaches and green beans. I made a shoofly pie but it tasted disgusting so we threw it away. Discovered that none of us like the flavor of molasses.
Mamabear - maybe you need some trout instead of salmon<g>
Yes, but the thing is, wolves no longer run wild here in the UK, as far as we are aware. However, there are some kept no more than 20 or 30 miles away. No distance for a wolf if it has escaped. Plenty of countryside for it to travel through unnoticed and plenty of Muntjac deer, rabbits and other prey for it.
Shoo-fly, don't bother me.... shoo-fly, don't bother me.... shoo-fly don't bother me.... for I belong to some-body.... I do, I do, I do....... (ok nobody knows that song, right?)
I know that song - I use it in my classes a lot. The song is better than the pie (which is actually where i got the recipe - a book from my company).
mamabear--it's just after 8 here so we ate already; I made a chicken teriyaki stirfry with brown rice. the kids hated it but I thought it was ok.
mama I think you should try some chicken. Seems to be on a lot of menus tonight.
We had Corned Beef Hash tonight.
I was just thinking that mm!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who said Chicken Wellington???/ What is chicken wellington?????
OOOO jac that sounds good too.
Chicken in pastry, I imagine. Like Beef Wellington.
i did - It is chicken in a pastry shell seasoned with cumin and oregano. White wine gravy on top. YUMMY!
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too..... Sounds like a ton of work!
MM - That sounds really nice. Can you post the recipe on my recipe thread in BabAnon, please?
This wasn't too hard --- the recipe called for using refrigerated pie crust from the grocery.
Yep I will go over there and do it right now. I substituted the cumin - the recipe calls for sage and I was out.
Well, Mama. Corned Beed Hash is quick and easy. All you need is diced potato, diced corned beef, onions, a dash of Worcester Sauce and a dash of tomato ketchup, and a good sprinkling of parsley.
Or even Corned *BeeF Hash!
Thanks, MM.
mmmm...beed hash (homer simpson voice)
LOL, LeslieAnn. Looking for those elusive pi's has sausaged my typing fingers.
hello all does anyone have a clue for the ra 6/24 pls
like for movies - R, PG etc.
also need the re 7/ 36 getting near the end and getting real tired ty
what a woman is who's going to have a baby, minus the first letter
ra6/24 - a naval ra*****. Or the singular of what TV companies vie for in the popularity stakes.
ty leslieann
on7/36 anyone?
Hey Jac - I posted it at Babblers Anon but it didn't go in the recipes thread --- I goofed. It is in the other interest thread though. Should I have just replied to your post to get it in the right thread?
Chicken it is. Chicken Parmesan..... but now the son and husband are arguing so I'm losing my appetite. :(
on 36 the art of public speaking
haha jacula i thought you were saying navel ra****. i was like, who ra**s those??
on 7.... when you are performing a play you are on***** (can be thought of as two words)
on7/36 - where you are when declaming "to be or not to be"
how about a clue for re 7
Also need the pi4/5 & 5/12 between measures of milk and taking a leak. There are 2 pi4/5's there, I have the 'semistable meson' but am not sure where it fits.
jac - spanish for floor, and alterate spelling of non-important people
Ahhh jac those tripped me up to pi+squiggly cosonant+circle and the 5/12 is the plural
Thanks for the on7, folks. I would never have put that together as a single word!
Gonna run upstairs and take a quick shower. Be back later.
Jacula, there's nothing between plural measures of milk and the semistable particle, so your missing one is elsewhere
THANK YOU, MM. I'm all done now.:-))
sing loudly in the shower so we can hear you, mm!!!
sorry, sheryl, i don't have that one yet
how about the sa 6/24 the second one
re 7 - what a lady is called who has a "bun in the oven" minus the p
sa6/24--rhymes with what clothes go on, in a closet
the 2 sa 6/24's are the same except for the last vowel
2nd sa6/24 is Thai currency - 100 sa***** equal 1 baht
That was a tough grid! I had to use a2z for a few words. Not done that in ages.:-(
have the currency one need the one below that one
there are 2 in a row
congrats, jac on your doneness!
The next sa6/24 is all about satisfying an appetite.
Thanks, Mama.:-)
sheryl, just change the last vowel in the one you have
Sheryl - add a hard consonant to your shiny material.
got that one too
now i am really confused as to what i am missing
ok I'm not sure that I'm giving you clues to the one you're looking for so maybe disregard...
got ty all
do you have the two that are a past tense of what you do at karaoke, or in a choir, plus a vowel and consonant?
ep7/32, anyone, please???
I'm back. No mama - no singing in the shower tonight. I'm under the weather. Need to conserve the voice in case this doesn't pass before Tuesday. I'm afraid I'll be making melody with my heart on Sunday instead of singing vocal praises.
ep+vowel+na4/4
ep7: "in architecture, is the open vestibule behind the nave"
Sheryl - in the sa's, the lead up to the first sa6/24 is all to do with the past tense of 'crooning a tune'. You have the sa4 then a 5 which add the first vowel at the end, then a 6 which adds a consonant to that. The next sa6/24 immediately follows it but uses the 2nd vowel rather than the first penultimately.
Whew, thanks. Is this the sort of word the rest of you all just happened to know?
jac ty got it but need the second sn 5/10 if you are giving out clues, lol
Vicuna - I found that ep7 a real b*gger to find and I studied church architecture for 'O' levels!
this puzzle is driving me nuts, guess i was spoiled the last couple of nights seemed so much easier, lots shorter but easier, lol
be back in a bit.....
Sheryl - you do NOT need the 2nd sn5/10, believe me! It's what men do 'on purpose' to keep us awake!
sn5/10 - what my husband does when I'm trying to sleep!
Bye mama --- I'm going for the night as well. i'm too wrapped up in the Olympics to keep an eye on the log. Have a great one all. See you tomorrow.
got that one and I have to blame that sound in my bedroom on myself not the hubby, lol
got it ty
'Bye MM. Happy viewing.
Sheryl! I am shocked! We ladies NEVER admit to sn**ing!
yeah, but when girls do it, it's cute, not annoying.
Hail and hello I am back to slog through the balance of about 142 words....
