Yay!
left with 46 hangin' on the last one...ah well...
I got the 1st post, I got the 1st post, na, n., nee nah na! ROFLOL.
congrats to you Jacs!!! I was still trying frantically to find words....there were still some I knew...I just couldn't figure out fast enough which ones I already had!! LOL!!
191 today....
A 8/45 and A 9/60
hiya chic!!
Hey, EB!
This is a little more manageable!
EB yesterday's grid was a monster. I did finish it though.
hey everyone, i'm gonna give it another try - spent entirely too much time on this today, but feel good about getting most of the words - i need to learn to do this faster, lol
I have a feeling this one won't be as easy as it looks -- a lot of unusual words, I think.
hello to all! i haven't babbled in a while. how is everyone?
Angel - congrats on finishing!!! i didn't have as much time as I thought to work on it when i started last night...too many "Sunday" chores (laundry, cleaning, etc.) helenkeller - welcome back!!!
hi nava!!!
I didn't dare start yesterday's, I would have neglected the kids trying to finish...hopefully this one will be ok
Hi nava -- good to have you back. :)
S 7/28
M 7/32
outnumbered - you were wise!!!
chic - what is your pix??
I thought it'd be a good idea to at least spend one weekend day being productive, LOL
these puzzles take me a good portion of the day
Now I'm really upset -- our toonie isn't a word!
t 7/28
nor is moonie to my surprise!
It's from the Aerosmith album "Get a Grip". It's antipolitical statement...;-)
halfway there . . . after midnite . . . packing it in for now
chic - ah...thanks....couldn't quite figure it out!!
g'night une!
my antipolitical statement, that is...
m 8/45
well, I seem to be stuck now at 64 so I'll head to bed. will help to have the list--and fresh eyes.
night une (you might be gone already!!)
r 7/28 x2
can someone tell me when the list of words on bab anon comes up? about what time? and how do you get your pictures in the chat, thx
goodnight outnumbered
helenkeller-pictures in the chat comes from upgrading to babble pro-a $10 investment but nice because you also get a stats page which can be helpful when waiting for the second letter list
another m 7/32
night outnumbered - helen - to get the 'icon' pix - you have to pay to go pro...it's a one time fee...when you do, you also have you're own 'stats' panel.... As for the list in Bab Anon...Brandy Jack (a fellow player) posts it as soon as he is able...he may have to work or is also subject to severe/migraine headaches that occassionally prevents him from posting a list...
thx kris, will that list come up soon or much later?
hk-eastern beat me to my next response-see below
gee, i wonder why he gets headaches - he figures this all out by himself everyday? is he nuts?
EB-doesn't BJ have a program or something that he developed?
i just wanted to find out how many words in this one - have 127 so far, wondering how much further to go, if i should call it a night
there are 191 words
and a 3rd m 7/32
helen - 183 kristin - he does have a program...but he still has to upload the information to generate the results...
105 words, that's enough for this chick tonite. b c n u tomorrow. 'nitey, nite, (((hugs)))
ooops...191!!!
adios chic!
night chic!!!
gotcha EB-I think the program itself is impressive enough and I am also sure it is a lot of work to appease us day after day :)
183 sounded better, lol, thanks very much kris & east
kristin - BrandyJack is a good soul....has saved my sanity many times!!!
191 total words 4-letter words: 80 5-letter words: 64 6-letter words: 27 7-letter words: 13 8-letter words: 5 9-letter words: 2
EB-what is your icon?
191 words today, and don't give BJ such a heavy load. His progamme is not automatic like Jamie's. He has to be there to trigger it. That's a hell of a responsibility and I,for one, wouldn't take it on! Hugs for BJ.xxxxx
FDR & Eleanor Roosevelt
I think BJ has the hardest job of all of us! :)
K- I agree. Cheers for BJ!
11 words beginning with k??? -- I have only 2
Jac - I never would...I am alway grateful when he can post it....I'm amazed at how kind he is to do so with such consistency!!
impressive what he does - it helped me alot today! i think that's it for me good nite everyone! i think i had TOO much fun here today
goodnite HK
cheers for BJ!
helenkeller - so I'm guessing we'll see you some more?? glad you've joined the ranks!! have a good night!!
EB - I'm guessing Helen Keller's got hooked. I know we warned her.... she did not go untold... we said, 'Peel your fingers off the keyboard NOW, or else be forever stricken...'. *Sigh*
ah, Jacs - it's always the more the merrier when it's a kindred soul! : )
Repeat after me... My name is helenkeller, and I am a babble addict.
Hail and hello... glad to see everyone here.... especially Helen
hiya Blaze!!
hallo blaze
Hello, Blaze
Repeat after me, 'There is no such thing as a Babble addict'. There is no such thing...
Yes, we are just infactuated.....LOL
what? I can quit anytime...just one more word is all I ever need actually, if I babble before bed (as I am right now) I dream of possible words--truly sad or grand depending on how you look at it
I've hit the wall at 116 -- think I'll call it a night unless someone would like to give a clue for the a 8 & 9?
cyber -sorry...I'm just looking for easy words right now!! (and those usually aren't the 8's & 9's!!)
stats posted. no knocking off early. night all....
no 8s or 9s here-where is harpjane when we need her? ;)
If am am halfway through the grid now, even though the postman o the paperboy has just clanged into my postbox... this does not mean I am addicted... Now, repeat after me, everyone... I am NOT a Babble addict, I can turn off the computer and let it go. I can let go of the keyboard and the mouse as the screen fades.... I am not.........FLUMP! aargh!
thank you BJ
Thanks, Brandyjack --- will just have a peek!
wahooh BJ-we were just singing your praises earlier- Thank you! Thank you!
s 8/40
sweet dreams brandyjack.... (((HUG))))) as always...you are our knight in shining armor!! : )
i'm heading back to bed....... enjoy...........
BJ - you are just a Babble pimp. Admit it!:-)
by saying back to bed, does he mean he woke up to run stats and then will go back to sleep b/c it is the middle of the night?--if so, what an even greater hero. Cheers again!
I'm saying nothing.:;-
okay folks, time for me to head to bed-tomorrow is a holiday in the US-hooray! Take care everyone
night kristin.... sweet dreams!!
Take a look at brandyjack's list -- the a 8 & 9 is easy to find once your have the a 4's on either side.
cyber - thanks for the suggestion...I think I'll wait til I've had a few winks of sleep...and then see what I can find in the morning!! Pleasant dreams.... goodnight everyone!!
Same here. Sweet dreams, all.x
finally found an 8 ... Sheesh!
Good night, everyone.
nite, nan
also found an 8, sn8!!
AN 8/9: an outer space in a building, often used for waiting.
Morning dear gang :)
I have finished the first three rows!!
Morning all.
Hi macadam.
How are you and yours sprite?
The kids are free from school this week, so we are taking it easy today :) And you?
Back to school today .Our half term was last week.I think we are all improving. The coughs and sneezes are not as frequent or as violent.
Ah, that's good to hear, I am glad. Too bad you had to spend halfterm all being sick :(
Not really sick, just noisy .Violent sneezes with no warning causing everyone to jump out of their skin.Annoying some of the time, amusing mostly.
:) I can see the picture. Amazing, isn't it, the force of sneezes and coughs? Our bodies are wonders.
wonders = miracles. Dutch confusion!
It can be embarrassing when out in public when you noisily .Most people seem to assume you sneezed deliberately.I`m afraid that just makes me smile.
People can be very intolerant, I am afraid. If there is one thing you cannot withhold, it's a violent sneeze that comes with no warning. More room outside than inside, I always say ;)
Ooops I meant sneeze noisily.
I have concluded that I have lots of spiders in the brain creating lots of webs which cause my sneezing.Perhaps they will leave when the weather gets warmer!!!!
Ah, that sounds like the perfect explanation :D
Morning everyone :) You still there mum?
Hi lotti! :)
Yes I`m still here.
How ya doing Sprite?
What time do you start and finish today? I`ve got that stuff still to photocopy if you`d be so kind :)
Not too bad, actually. It's school holidays this week, so no pressure, and the kids are behaving greatly. I feel a bit stronger and ready to tell the company doctor where to get off. That's a lot better than feeling powerless. ;)
10.30 till lunch.
Oh Sprite....that`s fantastic!!! You hold your own girl. Just think of all us guys right behind you :) I`ve taken my kids back to school today, they`ve had their week off :)
Mum, I`ll probably come down about 11.50am and meet you by Frans office then :)
Finished!! Woohoo!! 191 words 4.98 2386
I'll tell you, the support here from you guys really helps! Sometimes, someone in authority can make me feel like I am the one who's crazy, while all the time they got it wrong. It helps to know I am seeing things the right way. :)
Well done MrP.I`m only at106.Have a great day.
Sprite you know we`re with you all the way.
Yay MrP.....Well Done :D Sprite i am so proud of you, the way your outlook has changed over the last couple of months. You see that doctor with your head held high!!!
See you lunchtime lotti.
The company doctor has to write a "problem analysis" when someone is ill for a longer time. We got hers Saterday. No good, of course. I realised I was getting stronger when I found myself taking paper and pen, going through her analysis point for point and writing down how I want her to change the report :D She's in for a surprise, next appointment. We'll see what she has to say about that.
You will mum :D are you going now?
Things to sort out in school bag yeuk.See you later.
Bye macadam! :)
LOL!!!! Well done Sprite :) A lot of these company doctors aren`t human themselves.....let alone on this planet!!!!
See ya later mum :)
bye for now Sprite.
Yeah, she's mad. For sure. She thinks I should see a psychiatrist. Because I get very emotional when I tell about all the problems they give me at work, the refusal to adept the working environment to my handicaps and such. I just realised that after fighting that lack of consideration for so many years, it would be crazy to be NOT emotional about it. My anger and sadness are perfectly normal and healthy.
hi everyone!
Hey Atalante :)
Good morning, everyone.
I'm glad to see you're feeling stronger, Sprite :)
Morning Haz :)
Sprite....Is there any way you could sort things through a solicitor for intimidation, uncooperation of sorts or anything like that??
This looks like a more reasonable size of grid today - although yesterday's was fun!
Hi Haz :) HI Atalante :)
hi lotti, hi haz!
We will have to follow the procedures for these things. For now, we will give her the chance to change her report. If she refuses, I will demand a second opinion, from another and independant doctor. In the meantime, I can get in touch with my superior at work (another new guy, sixth in 3 years). If I can agree on a reintegration schedule with him, I can even get around the company doctor. But I want to push that forward in time a bit more, because I am not ready to start working yet.
Atalante - is that a golden cocker I see before me?
it is indeed! he's my little Jake - a few years gone now but as beautiful and silly as ever!
Well, i`m keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you Sprite!! I hope everything goes the right way (your way ;) of course) . Keep us updated on the events. I`m wishing you all the best for good results!! Here`s a big hug for you anyway....just because you`re Sprite (((((xxxxx))))))
He's so sweet, Atalante!
Thank you, macadam :) :) :) That really helps!
I always wanted to have a golden cocker! Am 'making do' with a Welsh Springer, whom I love dearly, of course.
Whoops.....signed in as Macadam :/ It`s Lotti really :)
he was - my poor little boy - he was brain-damaged at birth and a *lot* of work to look after but the sweetest litle thing ever!
LOL lotti... thank YOU then :)
He must have been very special to you then, Atalante. Sounds like a very special bond.
Oooo She`ll know i`ve been on to pinch some words when she scrolls back later!!!! LOL Slapped wrists for me!!!!
if you do get one, Haz, please please make sure you get one from a very good breeder. golden cockers (because of their amazing prettiness) were over-inbred last century and can be *very* temperamental as a result. But the good breeders have been trying to reverse that inbreeding over the last 10 - 20 years - so for your sake and the dog's sake its worth really checking the breeder out beforehand!
You'll be in for it for sure, lotti ;)
It's funny, Atalante - my husband is a vet and has steadfastly refused to have a golden cocker for that very reason. His experience is that when they get older they become very cross and 'they would eat you' to quote him on several occasions.
I know....best confess when i see her at lunch!!!!! *giggles like a school girl*
they can be little sh***. One breeder told me that about 1/3 are aggressive, about 1/3 are completely loopy and about 1/3 are ok. But I think that is reversing slowly to a better temperament. It makes me so mad - breeders who will breed to fashion at the expense of the dog!! We didn't particularly want a golden cocker - he just came to us when his previous owners couldn't manage.
I know that some dogs' bad behaviour is the result of poor discipline by the owners, but when it is the result of bad breeding you're really going to struggle to change things. Unfortunately some breeders are more interested in money than in the welfare of the breed.
Urf yes. Apparently with cockers, it goes back to Victorian times, when they became hugely popular, and the golden ones in particular. By the 1950s a lot of them had become pretty unmanageable because of inbreeding problems, and cockers started to get a bad reputation and popularity died. Since then the good breeders have been trying to reverse the trends. Don't get me wrong, I *adore* cockers, and I'd never want any other dog. Hobbit is the sweetest natured dog I have ever known, and the cleverest. Jake was as thick as a plank, but an angel!
Done, and really fast too. To5/18 was tough for me and I did with O4/5 - 5/12 exactly what the words say, but for the rest it was relatively easy today. And fun! I go and enjoy my kids for a while. Thanks for the company and the support. You guys are great :)
Well done, sprite! Have a good day with the children.
See ya soon Sprite....take care!! :D
So we go looking for to5/18 ....
to5/18 is a fish :)
It looks like it should be an Eastern European fish with a name like that!
sounds like it should be a Russian submarine!
wow, I just got the to5 word from Atalante's Russian Submarine clue. I don't know who's brain is more wharped?
Now, now, Ishult!
everyone who is obsessed with babble!
changing the subject completely - oh wow - Andy Murray beat Lleyton Hewitt to win his first title! how cool!
Really? That is amazing as Leyton Hewitt is no mean player. But the poor lad will be put under such pressure by the British media.
I know! the new tim henman blah blah blah blah
The front cover of the Radio Times for Wimbledon is decided already...
no wonder we havent had any amazing players recently - anyone who wins a match is put under such pressure and expectations!
I hope he continues to do well for his own sake. Anyway, time for me to take a break to get some housework done, dog walked etc. I'll be back later. 'Bye!
Ttfn Haz :)
Does anyone have a clue for the last re4/4 please :)
morning lotti :) - no re yet, still battling my way through the mo words ...
Thanks anyway....thats my last r, but i`ve a load of S`s and T`s still to go.
Right....got to go. I`ll be back later, bye everyone :)
lotti if ou have the re7 above it just take 3 letters away
Good morning everyone. This looks like a very elusive and irritating grid!
Morning eva and every1...this has been very frustrating today. My computer keeps doubling up on words, freezing up and when I refresh, it's w/errors. Arrrgh! It's taking the fun out of this. I've shut down, restarted, all to no avail. :(
Morning gramma. Hate it when that happens, which is all too often. Wonder how it can aflict one of us or a few at a time and not all. I am just experiencing that end of feb, beginning of March state of suddenly feeling that this has been more than enough of winter! Even though it has been such a puny one. Know what I mean? Did your power stay on?
Oh my darling eva, do I ever know what you mean! I can't take much more gray and WIND.
I want to walk out of the door without 4 layers of clothing, boots, yak traks. At least most winters when it is colder there are more of those brilliantly blue days--enough of this constant grizzling! I saw a poor confused Snowdrop the other day-who by now has been sent into cryogenesis. There were buds on some of the bushes in Montpelier. They're going to regret having stuck their little heads out!
Eva, I have poor little bulbs that came up about 2-3" . I can't bear another year w/out my flowers in the spring. They keep trying to grow. Poor little things. Did you know some of the bears are out and about ?
No! Too early to have to take the bird feeders down! Haven't seen any bear signs here yet, but the coyotes have been creating a Gothic novel setting every night-howling like I've never hear before. So glad my cat doesn't go out or he would long ago have been a snack.
Have 79 left and have gone completely and utterly dry, so off to do the stoves and the cat and take a bath. Maybe the puzzle will look different when i return. Why are vowels always so much more difficult?!
My daughter and a friend were walking the dogs and encountered a bear. Not a great scenario. I know what you mean about the coy dogs, they are having a very good winter. I say, keep going w/the hunts. There are enough of them.
ok, I am not impressed now by the fact that Sprite found this puzzle so easy! I don't like it!
Atalante, I'm enjoying this grid; but, I don't think they're ever really easy.
I think I'm just tired - we had huge storms and rain all night that kept me awake - along with checking on injured dog paw at intervals, husband snoring, and cat having a mad spell at 4am!
Sounds normal to me 8)
its normal here apart from the howling wind and rain! We don't normally get gale force winds that sound like they are about to blow your house down!
Hi - could i get help with the "ai" please I have the one that ends in opposite on out. Thanks. *sprinkle*sprinkle*sp rinkle (faerie dust for the grid and my eyes to see the words) :)
need faerie dust for my fingers too it seems. I can't type today.
opposite of out ai 4/4 need other ai........
the ai word might be pronounced like eights
replace the 3rd letter with another consonant :)
Atalante-I know your here, don't try to hid from me.
I'm just busy gazing blankly at the grid!
Ata- ((((((x)))))) good morning and thank you. See my doggie. Isn't he cute?
*refreshes* OH! he's adorable!!!!
I would just love to grab you doggie and kiss her little face and scratch her ears and rub her belly
I have to say that babblers have the cutest dogs!
Of course we do. And we love them the most too. Did I understand correctly that your hubby is a vet?
Faerie - it's mine who is the vet. What he doesn't know about the insides of a cow isn't worth knowing!
I wanted to be a vet - then I got distracted by marine biology and now I know far too much about the insides of fishes
Haz - got it. Thanks, the inside of cow sounds pretty gross. One of my best friends is a vet also and he is the funniest person I know. Oh the stories he tales.
what's wrong with trike? or is it usually spelled with a y?
Hi all how many words we looking for on this lovley day
I don't know but can you even get it from the grid?
too much of a shortening / slang thing, I guess Eva
Ata-fish guts, yuck......I'm too squimsh.
Adsman - 191 words to find today.
Thanx Haz how are we all?
I'm fine, some of our American friends are feeling the cold!
Oh yeah the big freeze everything ok with our American friends
Adsman-Well I'm doing just fine today. Got lots of work ahead of me today. Got to clean up a tree that fell in back yard a few days ago. BIG MESS. Have to get the tractor to get it off the fence first.
Results of the Big Freeze.....Sucks
you're right Haz-it's not there. But that's never stopped me before (-:
It's creative babbling - I love it!
It's really not that cold here-normal for this time of year. It's just that it was so abnormally warm for so long that we have become wimps and are doing a lot of very satsifying whining.
Is it starting to clear up now Farie
Just finished- it's early afternoon, too! [Usually it's much later!] How sad am I to spend the first day of the holiday babbling!
Adsman - no - the trees are still ice coated so more could come down. It is 15f here this morning should get up to 20-25 today. Its the trees and my fence that worry me and yes I whine all damn winter.
Speaking of whining....I'm going to indulge for a sec: I hate this grid! it makes me feel stupid, especially since some people (I won't mention any names) found it easy! There are too many vowels, too many weird words, (i.e. words I don't know) and no pretty patterns. Okay- that's done with.
Dipp - Congrats!
I agree Eva!
Eva -Sprite, is just a big show off, don't be discouraged. I also think it stinks.
I can think of more objectionable players than Sprite...
Im sure everything will be fine faerie... keep smiling : )
i wish irksome existed in this puzzle, it's exactly what it is!
Adsman-I never stop smiling. Thats one thing about me. Its hard to keep me down. Life is way to short to sweat the small stuff. The big stuff will come along.
Hi all - better than yesterday!
Morning all =o)
Glad to hear it... : )
Helllllllooooooo-to everyone just joining in :)
Morning everyone!
Hello to all new arrivals : )
morning to all those just appeared!
It's awful cold here this morning!
MM ((((((((xx)))))))) goodmorning. How are you feeling today. Are you over the flue yet?
It's freezing here too toesock.
At least it's warmer than Saturday! It was -6 Saturday and today it's 10* lol
I'm mostly over it I think. still a little green snot and my neck is stiff from sleeping propped up. i'll live though. I don't envy you having to clean up the tree. ICK!
What's the temp there?
Aw I am sorry you are sick Musicmom! Did you get soe antibodies from the doc? :)
Toe - it is 20 f. here this moring with some wind. No I don't think I need anitbiotics this time. Just rest and juice. I have been taking over the counter symptom relief.
I was zero here yesterday morning with lots of wind.
Who said they were looking for irksome? I want insane!
MM-you need antibotics. Green slime is a sign of infection. Call your Doctor please. You don't want penumonia. (spelling is terrible)
I want antimonies.
Thanks Faerie - we'll see. I don't want to trek to the doc today with the two kids in tow. They go back to school in the morning. If I'm not better - I'll go.
sn 4/4 is whats coming out of your nose MusicMom....giggle*
Eva - that would be a great word.
Darn - I haven't worked on the grid enough. MM shutting her mouth now.
how can there be 5 more k's?!!!
At least you only need 5. I need 8 UGH>
there are some weird kr ones' which sound like what Bing Crosby did.
Yep found those and the thing you fly in the sky.
I'm taking the ADHD approach to the grid today - I'm all over it.
also one that sounds like money
and the plural of a liquer
and little foxes
have to go get ready for the painters-just as well or I'd lose my mind with this.
what about kramer?
Thanks Eva. Painters - ohhhh. What are you painting.
brb
I'm back

Sorry not here. Still working on them.
Hello. An8 & pl. 9 - An outer chamber that opens into another chamber, often used as a waiting ro**.
They are a combination of an4/4 and ro4/5
The foyer. and the plural
faeriekae, that is a beautiful dog.

thanks Haz, to think I almost got it earlier, but trird spelling it with an i instead of an e!!
any clues on the 9 letter words?

mo 4/5 plus ti5/10 gets the mo9
Hey Jac are you still here? I posted Lost in the Log in bab anon. Used the Air Supply tune - Lost in Love.
Thank you tons haz!!!
thanks again haz.
You're welcome!
MM-what a great song LOL you are so witty. lol
Thanks Faerie --- It didn't come right away. All I posted last night was that I was lost in the log. I was looking for clues so I wouldn't have to ask - but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Very witty.....
ty
I've just returned, MM. I'll go and look at your song now.

TY, kisses, hugs, love...ty.

Yesterday was the first time I haven't played a grid in 6 mos., now I'm rusty and can't find any of the k's!
bunny, you missed a vicious grid yesterday. It was truly brutal
i don't know, it was long but this one seems harder. i have 5 k's, but i think the rest are going to be pretty weird
bunny - I didn't even get to finish the grid...you were wise to stay away!!
Guess it's a good thing, I just can't believe I forgot.... where have my priorities gone?
I have 8 k's so far...haven't looked at the 'list' yet!!
i'm finding it irksome that for the lack of an e my irksome falls
i haven't looked at the list yet either.
i have 7 k's now - all ki's - have you got some kr's, auntie, i'm wondering if there are any?
I've just started, but I'd like to get there without the list, still 97 to go...
Woot!
hurshy - I have 2 kr's....sounds like what Bing does...
TSM, Woot?
Toes - are you finished?? Congrats!!!!!!!!
thanks eb
must go pick up som medicine - back later

C ya later, hurshy 8)
Bye
bye doxy
I just needed one more cup of coffee in me, this isn't so bad, think I've typed in almost all of the words every day.....after day, after day.....
I've only got 2 words left to find and I can't see them - the 1st ro4/4 & the 5/10 following it.
part of a plant in the ground
good morning everyone :)
ro4 bath---- dining ---- back----
ro-- with a view then pluralise.
oh, was that the wrong one? Sorry.... Good morning!
It was the plant parts. Thanks everyone. I'm done.:-)
Played Jacula.
Congrats Jac!
Congratulaions, Jacula! Cheers!
First kr is swedish money
All Hail the Chief!
Smeltzie!!!!!!!! long time no see!!!
congrats Jac!
All right, I cheated and used BJ's list and caffiene flooded my brain, now I wish I hadn't!! That was too quick!
I know. Things have been extremely busy. I stopped by last night...left a message and realized I didn't know anyone. How are you EB?
could i get the kr 6/30 please? i have the one with a double vowel.
good Smeltzie....glad to see you!!
I'm enjoying the day off for the Presidents...
Plural the one you already have, add a vowel to the one you already have to get both 30's
the one you already have meaning the 5/18, sorry
Smeltzie - how's the Mrs?? tell I said hello!!
I have both 5/18's on the 6/30 with the double vowel. The swedish money/how do i make it plural "s" just doesn't seem to get it.
ooops! please tell her i said hello...
Actually the Mrs. hasn't been feeling well for about 2 months.
Smeltzie- I'm sorry to hear that....((HUG)) to you both....
both of the 7/30's are identical except fot the last letter, one plural, on ending in vowel
Well...pregnancy will do that!!!
they both build off of teh 2nd kr 5/18
I don't think the last kr has anything to do with the money -- haven't found it either.
I was glowy happy my firt two pregnancies, the last two laid me out!! First child?
Smeltzie - congratulations!!!! that's a good reason NOT to feel well.... when is the little dog due???
TY-found it. trying to make this much harder than it is.
yep, it's the first. We weren't neccesarily trying. We were just married in August.
one of the kr's is swedish currency
Cyber, all the kr's a curecy affiliated :)
someone else gave that clue earlier.
The little Smeltzilicious is due the first of October.
Congratulations! How far along is she?
BV-Thank You (((x)))
cannot type today....
ni 7/28, please?
long time no see and congrats, smeltz. only 1 k left to find...
So she's in her first trimester, they say the morning sickness usually goes away with the second if that is any consolation!
going to have lunch. my one and only meal of the day.
add a vowel to the ni 6/18 before it
hey hursh!
Bye faerie
how've you been (other than gettin' busy, which is clear)?
hurshy!!!!!!
Afternoon all.... bunny!!! I have missed you!
Things have been good. It seems that things go faster when there's a little Smeltztini to think about.
what?
hmm, that's interesting. i always imagined that a pregnancy would make life seem to drag on very slowly. perhaps your wife has a different take?
Hey Cait, thought you were avoiding me!! LOL
hursh - your inference....just had me laughin'!!!!!
:)
I've been playing alot later and earlier than I usually do, it's easier to play when the girls are napping. They think they are invisible when I'm at the computer.
No bunny I would never do that!! Must have been logging on at different times lol
Thanks, Bunny.
We went house shopping Saturday, gonna buy our very own house, 11 years and five kids later! I'm so excited!!
YW
that's so great bunny!
bunny - what good news...how fun!!!
bunny that is brilliant news! Im really happy for you !!
Hey Bunny that is exciting. We just bought our first house - 14 years and 2 kids later.
doesn't this computer watch star trek? nanite is a word.
I'm happy to, now just finding one, ughh! Last year was our first year without any major "catastrophies", ie multiple preg., broken bones, evil employers who write hot checks, so were caught up and moving forward. I start college again in Sept.
Maybe I should have said I think things are going faster. She would kill me if I told her things seemed to be fast. She remembers every long, tiring moment so far. On top of that, we will also be moving when she is 6 or more months pregnant. She no likey.
that's what i thought, smeltz.
That really is terrific. We had fun house hunting but were lucky. We found one right away. We only looked at about 11 houses all together.
LOL, I bet! That means YOU'LL be moving!!
Smeltzie - just make sure she doesn't have to lift a single box when you move....
hey this is great - congrats bunny looking at this log - what you guys are saying is that 5-10 years from now i'll be doing alright.
hire movers, smeltz - it'll be worth the cost. gotta go to lunch folks, see you later
bye hursh!!
We have the five kids though, I can put the twins in a room together, that still puts us at a five bedroom. Hard to find, they are all three and two! We could use the pantry as a room....
bye hurshy
Bye Hursh
find one with walk in closets bunny and put the beds there
My personal life musical just kicked in. I seem to be hearing a little Celine Dion "All by Myself" Yes...yes...I am the only man here!!! Is there anyone on my side? It seems that you all think this pregnancy thing is hard?
I was thinking the husband.....
Bye Hursh. Bunny - hang in there and keep looking. We actually have 4 bedrooms (which we didn't need ) but it gives me a piano studio.
bunny - if you have general questions re: mortgages, drop me an email....I work for a bank in the home equity division & could answer them for you...
I loved being pregnant - being a mom is hard:))
hey smelts - female but no children, i count
hey bunny, if you have any questions re: contractors i can answer them don't build!
BTW Smeltz - I would still hire movers<g> and packers<g>
thx EB Smeltz, I feel for you, it's hard on you as well. I saw murderous gleams in my husbands eyes my last pregnancy, but I just couldn't contain the evil.... Just smile and nod, nine months isn't so long...
I'm glad she will be pregnany. I am going to send her to a spa. I work with middle and high school kids. I won't have a problem getting 20-30 people to help.
No way would we have built! Our marriage is strong - it isn't that strong. Buying was stressful enough.
Thx Eva. We live in the boonies, we could build a house out of beer cans... The advantage to living in such a small community with a large family, is everyone knows how to do everyting. A small house can be added onto pretty easy, construction workers everywhere!
Smeltzie - you've just endeared yourself to all the gals here...the spa...what a wonderful idea!!!!!!
I'm not pregnant but you can send me to a spa.
smart move bunny - i'm convinced theres not an honest contractor out there, at least not around here. if i have offended anyone - i apologize
How sweet, a spa? My husband ran the bath when I was pregnant with the twins at the end and asked me if I'd fit...good thing for him I couldn't chase him.
he sounds charmbing bunny
You're right, it's crazy what they charge. Mechanics too. Five times the cost of materials, and they take way to long to complete the job!
The spa should wait until after the little Smeltzie -- she won't be able to soak in a hot tub or steam room right now -- send's the blood pressure too high.
Good point Cyber - but a pedicure is a dream. I had one 3 days before my second was born. AHHHHHHH wonderful.
and the law is no help whatsoever, just drags things out more - i got my revenge though - took a large chunk from the final draft
He just thinks he's funny. My waist line went back down and his is still growing though!
st 7?
st 7 - more rocky
See what you did C-nan! I was trying to sound all charming. I just want her to go somewhere so we can get the work done and you shoot it down. Is there anyone who isn't female on here? please...please...please, I beg for more testosterone.
Cait, when do you normally get on? My brother is here so I can do his taxes? I want to chat later!
will some steroids do smeltz?
Bye Bunny. I wish I could be doing taxes but am still waiting on one statement.
*Uncontrollable sobbing!*
there there smeltz * holds out a beer *
bunny I tend to get on early switch time then at this time of day when grandchildren have gone home
Smeltzie - I think cyber was just offering sage advice to protect the little Smeltzie... Your idea IS wonderful & charming....
*snotting on sleeve*
LOL, Eva! We're all self employed, big ol' tax party on me!! See you tomrrow then, take care!!! I'll come back at this time!
Smeltzie - it appears you are preparing for the little one by having goobers on your clothes!! 8 D
bye bunny!!!!
Catch you tomorrow bunny ..take care LOL ....
self employed? not me
That's funny...real funny (insert sarcasm here)
Thanks, Bunny -- got caught up in the chat.
Smeltzie - got ya to smile!! Maybe a night in a B & B when you move?? or a massage & manicure/pedicure...
Sorry Smeltdog -- spa would be great as long as she is aware of the things she should not do.
last st 5/10?
cyber- s + t _ _ _ a ball
s plus to4/4 - (the throwing one)
i think that falls under the gifthorse/mouth thing
Hi guys :)
Hi lotti
hi lotti!!!!!
TY, Easter & Haz -- thought I'd tried that.
Hi lotti.
My, my EB your artwork is becoming incredible!!!! LOL
why lotti, thank you...it's a bit of improvement over my hedgehog!! tee hee hee!!!
Although i did prefer the Hedgehog :D
What is the first an 5/10? I can't seem to find anything before the an4/4
It's similar to the weepy vegetable
Thanks Haz. I was trying to double the consonant.
musicmom an5/10 sounds like a pungent veg
Thanks caitlyn
The word keeps appearing in the grid and I never get it straight away either.
Aww.....thought i`d finished then, but i have more n`s to find :(
GO GO GO lotti!!
LOL......Thanks Caitlyn :)
Yay...i`m done :) Must go feed the kids. Bye everyone :)
bye lotti!!!
Bye lotti!
to 5/10 ? -- third one, following English May 24 queen's nickname
If you mean the one following the to with two vowels at the end - then it's part of the body.
hi
hi bing....
Hi bing (crosby?)
Thanks, Haz -- I was missing the one ending in two vowels.
You're welcome!
Any clues for the tr -- been monkey typing for a while now. Will I need the fish?
hey, does anyone have progressive insurance?
You won't need the fish - t plus shortened Reagan, plus first vowel
Evan I don't have Progressive but I handle insurance for the leasing company I work for what did you need to know
doll, their quote is over 100$ less than my current insurance - i wondered how the service was though
any body have this? mo6/21
Thanks, Haz -- sounds like Ontarians pronounce Toronto. Off to watch Olympic curling -- our team's third has the flu, so it will be a tough one.
I know that our clients who have it really like it and I know it's convenient from my end too
bing if you have the mo4/5 above add an ending to it
yes bing, more of the prev mo4
the second so 7 I have the one ending in plural bugs
already done
i wonder would they drop me at the first sign of a claim - i have a good record, but i'm human
ugh, i'm going to get the list
more of the so 4/4 above it
how about this ni5/10 and ni6/18
Evan not that I have noticed and I know we have one client that they paid a claim on and he still has Progressive
which, bing?
Okay. I have to go back. I thought I had that 4/4 and I don't.
Im finished !!!!!!Any clues needed before i go?
thanks doll i'm going to have to seriously consider it then, on account of i'm so poor
an explosive
yes, 2nd an6?
Musicmom think chimney dust
yup
Thanks doll. That' helped:-)
hurshy this is done with Holy oil
gata go. Buy
thanks caitlyn. hate when it's a word i know!
YW bye bing
bye bing
Bada Bing!
lol smeltz
fooled yal
Somebody thinks their funny...
seriously. i have to go by
ok, smeltz, we need to work on your grammar. it would be "they're" if it were they, but as it is only one person, it's "he's" (we can safely assume masculine gender because no girl would do something like that...)
(that was supposed to be humorous)
I thought it was funny. I'm always on my girls about that.
hursh...why do you attack me? bing used "buy" and "by" when leaving but didn't think to use the word "Bye" which means "I'm leaving now" Actually, I retyped that word because the first time I spelled it there. The plural pronoun was on purpose.
2nd kr? (not the singing one)
kr6, I mean
poor Smeltzie is havin' a rough day....
lol, smeltz - i only try to help the people i really care about
outnumbered - it's the same except ends with a vowel
Smeltz - do you feel unloved today? <g>I'm glad you stopped in. hehehee. They aren't picking on me.
thanks hurshy. what a strange word, LOL
it's easy to tell when to use "they're" and "you're" - just ask yourself if the sentence would make sense if you put in "they are" or "you are" instead
Hear we go a gain. Every one against I. Look at pore Smeltzie. He must bee having a bad day. Knot true.
Smeltzie - LOL!!!!
grin and bare it, smeltz
Hey smeltz - are you an English teacher? heheheheheh good one.
any help this Monday for an8 (assuming an9 is plural) ty
Smeltz when is the little smeltz due?
I don't know how you two can just sit there in your black and white photos...smiling like nothing is happening...I SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU
You can't see through Taft --- he's too big.
an8 a chamber behind another chamber, generally used for preparation
Baby Smeltz is due about Oct.1
Taft was a Buckeye!!!
i think doll wanted to change the subject before my double entendres got any more out of hand :)
How many words are there today? I have 96 so far...just wondering how far I need to go.
191 total
Yeah but not everyone in Ohio loves the Buckeyes.
no not me hehe
thanks!
actually was just curious my son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first in 4 weeks
The rest don't know better.
Did you go to OSU?
hurshy -- thank you my friend. My daughter came to visit yesterday (for a week) so I didn't get to finish yesterday's puzzle. This week will be challenging to complete many at all.
ugh, these ni's are awful, all the same point values
Or are you a bandwagon fan because they win?
oh, i know how that is pbr - i didn't do them all when i was at my in-laws' for christmas.
Music - I actually went to a small Christian college in Indiana. I'm from Ohio. I have never seen worse bandawagon fans than that for the Cubs and Colts.
That's true. I am an alumnus of Ohio University in the S.E. part of the state (the Bobcats). We are Mid American Conf. I was okay with OSU until they tried to take our trademark. Now I'm not a fan of the scarlet and grey at all.
round on the ends and high in the middle
Yep. BUT for the record OU was here long before State. We were the first university in the state (before it was a state actually) Founded in 1804
i'm back
Welcome back Bing.
were we tuggin' your sleeve?
babbleland is a lot like chicago
I'm lost in the ni land. there are two ni5/10 together in the middle of the list. I need the first one (actually don't have either)
do you need baby lice plus opposite of off?
do you need the one where you reverse the last two letters of the first ni5?
Yep I needed that one. Thanks. I'll see if I can figure the rest now.
TY TY got them both. I am back on track.
i found those annoying too
Musicmom...sorry about this but Ohio became a state on March 1, 1803...before Ohio University existed.
Sorry. First university in the NW territory. Still long before OSU - which by the way was an agricultural institution to start with.
*groans at smeltz*
www.ohiou.edu if anyone is interested.
OSU started in 1870. I'll give you that so you feel better.
well, i went to williams. on our radio station, we had a commericial with a nice little jingle. "come to williams college, we'll give you knowledge"
hi guys
hello bing (cherry?)
i love you
Bwwahhahhahaa I didn't feel bad. We may be small but we are mighty in academics (not so much in sport). We have a leading osteopathic medicine dept., Scripps School of Journalism and an outstanding college of Communications.
but you're wierd
That's a little forward isn't it Bing Bing King
if we weren't weird this wouldn't be very much fun
I need the first no 6/18 please and the os5 thanks.
hurshy - could we expect anything less from a Purple Cow???
no 6/18 "you have ** ***** to take my children away from me!" except it's spelled the ceremony way
Thanks H.
os5 ends with a twin from "sister, sister"
oh, you know williams eb?
I've never seen a purple cow, I hope to never see one. But I can tell you any how, I'd rather see than be one!
i need some sk help - i'm missing one of the 5's and the 6.
not the last sk5, i have that. and i have person who slaloms and a garment.
hurhsy - my sister & brother in law went (and met) there...
s+toy that flies in the air.
A purple cow's a lovely thing To be one is a dream But what will really make you sing Is purple cow ice cream
hurshy rhymes with girl
did we have this conversation before, auntie? or am i just having deja vu?
The other ends in the 12th letter of the alphabet. the 6 is the plural.
UGH take Doll's clue - mine was lame.
lol musicmom
hursh - I think it's deja vu...I don't remember it...I went to school down the road...Holy Cross....
Hurshy doesn't rhyme with girl.
thanks, you're a doll (but i guess you knew that)
help iwth re 6/18 and 7/28 - not the eye part
colors again, doll
*groans at smeltz again*
thanks Hurshy
btw i made my poem up just now off the top of my head, but purple cow ice cream is real, they have it at lickety split, the ice cream shop in williamstown. it's black raspberry with white chocolate chips in it or something.
Going to the grid for a while only 8 more words to go.
20 words, class in 10 minutes, hmm....
Go hurshy go!
you can do it hurshy!!
we have faith in you Hurshy
this is a lot of pressure
stuck on the st4 after st6 brief terms
nevermind, was totally blind
Hurshy think mix
Okay I had a clue for you/
Hey everybody! How is it today?
if you didn't have a clue for me on that one, mm, i'd have been worried
last st5?
Not bad smith - I have 7 more words to find.
Good day to everyone, and happy President's Day to all of y'all from across the pond..... As you can plainly see, I've chosen America's first President as my icon today, for the most party because I share my birthday (the 22nd of February), with the great man.....
nvm
s+what you do to a ball ( t*** it to me.)
Hi movie man.
s + t4/4
Well, hopefully I'll have time to finish!
hi movieman.... hi smithie....
hey doll, i was wrong - progressive isn't cheaper - i didn't realize that was a six month quote
10 words, 3 mins til class starts... allow at least 1 min to get there... ah, heck, my students are always late anyway
I need some help with mo 7 words. I have the one that is the computer screen and the 8 which is it's plural. Is that the first one?
Hey, EB...
LOL, hurshy!
hint for the tr5, anyone?
hurshy they won't care if you are late.
t+pres. reagan's first name+vowel
4 to's left - a 4, 2 5's and a 6
first to6?
Do I see another man? Be careful movieman...they are brutal today (the ladies)
I'm hunting that one myself Hurshy.
argh, this is awful
smeltz - better not show my head then. OOps. Too late.
Hurshy --- more full of sound.
the 5 after ms. spelling?
yes chef...run for your life...they will skin you alive and eat you as a midday snack.
Smeltz- sounds like fun. Where do I sign up??
No the 5 after several Mr. Cruise
nvm, got it, all done, gotta run
any hints for either so7?
bye, hurshy!
sweeps get this
Bye Hursh. Watch out girls - we're being overtaken by the men. Oh nevermind - no big deal.
Smelts - Congrats on your news re earlier posting.
The er 7?
Hi guys and gals - haven't been online for a couple of days. Hope everyone is well.
Hi fMitch. Fine. How are you?
Thanks F
FMitch! Long time no see!!!!
Er 7 = first Er4 + vowel + opp. of off
please please does anyone have a hint for either so7? I have a big chocolate cake here for the first person to help me....
Hi Dachef and all Been a bi**h of a start to the week - company I work for has just gone into liquidation.
mermaid - Grim-Bigyen gave a gr8 clue a coupla minutes ago.......
The second one is just more of the 4/4 before it. The first one is a plural of the first s6 so+consonant+small bug
so7/28s - one is plural of previous 6, having to do with sound, the other is dirtier, as in a chimney
thanks guys! *passes out plates of chocolate cake to everyone*
ohhh mermaid79 - that is a suger rush so welcome right now LOL
sorry, having a blonde mo - cant get the so7/28 from those clues. Got the dirtier one - but the other one containing the small bug?????
Okay. HELP last two words are related I'm sure. I need the second mo 7/32
wooow...looks like I arrived just in time for the cake ^^
Ok I am back now :)
More of you second Mo4/5
*runs away with cake*
*sneak*sneak*sneak*POUNCE* MIYA!!!!!!!!!!!! (((((HUG )))))))))
Wow am I sleepy! It's so slwo at work today...
<<crunch>> ah, the melodic sound of my spine breaking...must be Easty! *huggles* YO! XD Anj...where d'you think YOU'RE going?
*chases after anj brandishing a rather lethal looking spoon*
mmmppmmff?
Ah, Dachef, the old spoon...never fails, but *raises weapon* BOW DOWN TO THE SPORK
Tiger that doesn't work. Are you sure that isn't the 3rd 7/32?
Hi Miya and others. I've been pounding out at the grid. Two more words a 7 and an 8 both mo
Anj, cake NOW, or I spork you! (sorry...I'm revising for exams, grammar is not what it should be ^^)
dachef, try this: not a daughter, but a so*, + picnic pest... then the plural
Ahh it could be. I have 3 so maybe I need the one you need too
musicmom- try more of the thing that sits in the sky at night. And talks to me. But only I can hear it.
Will hand over cake for clues to either 9 : ) *eyes spork warily*
the an 9 is the plural of the an 8 ---foyers
*glares* Anj, there are several places this spork can go. I'm willing to try them ALL.
an9/60 - think annexe and its plural.
I have that one. I need the one before it. Not the computer screens.
anj, the an9 is plural of an8, which is two words together -- meaning a chamber or space before the main chamber; kind of a waiting place
both 9s are plurals of 8s, one is foyer, the other is picture in one color
Cheers 'mom : )
Not the color related one either.Oh wait that isn't a 7
I have the last one too. The one with the double vowel +cross in the middle.
Falls between the card game and the thing in the sky
*Gathers everyone around for a huge group hug*
Why thank you everyone : ) *Produces large gateaux with a flourish* dig in : D
((((((((((((( all )))))))))))))
add on to the card game: fish eggs minus final e
Thanks Toe - but that didn't give me my mo 7<G>
Cheers (((Toes))) that's sweet of you : )
*sticks spork into cake* aaaah...and I've just done revision on nutrition as well XD *lobs that away*
I have mo 7/32 and mo 8/45
mo7/32 - what you are looking at right now mo8/45 plural that
Give them here. i want them more than chocolate cake - that's saying a bunch!
Anj! How are you handsome? :)
I have THOSE 7 and 8 hehehehehee. I need the ones after them.
<looks at nutritutional values of choc cake, thinks s*d it, and eats anyway, before stealing the Spork and running to the patent office>
Thanks Vicune I got it from your clue :)
brb - I have to go.......... fast
to 5 and 6 - upper body
re 6 and 7 - to color something again - also with an S

an 6 and 7 - To put oil on during a religious ceremony as a sign of sanctification
Hi 'nut. She's chasing Dachef trying to get her spork back... : )
Okay I'm back. My kids are loving this because they have to quit playing playstation when I quit this stupid game.
hey buddy! where you been?
would a spork be a concave fork?
LOL Musicmom it's a vicious circle
FMitch - i think everyone was chasing after Anj & the cake.... hello!!! (((((((HUG))))))))

Toes you should be blooming : )
nevermind, found the smegger. Miy - its always meant that. You're just not supposed to know about that sort of thing!!!!!!!
Anj - I cry a lot.... good tears of course
Anj - can I email you via babanon?
FMitch - blame it on the grid --- sorry you are having a terrible start to the week. Greg just IM'd from work and said he was having a bad day. Big hugs to you!
lmao Dachef...it's impossible to go to school and not know what it means XD
LOL musicmom thanks for acknowleging me.
FMitch, it's not just you :/ I have to be at school by 7:30 tomorrow, then I have an entire DAY of science - two exams and two revision periods :/
FMitch - sorry, missed your post earlier - bummer for you. I was in the same position about three years ago, but someone rushed in at the last minute and saved the company. However, the new people were, to use the venacular, a*****es, and I left shortly after! Keep the chin up. Remember who you are.
okay. i'm out for a little while. Will probably be back this evening during primetime Olympic viewing<g>
FMitch, sure you can : ) I'm looking for work myself at the moment so your post struck a chord...
FMitch - Not sure what I can do to help make you smile.... If you have any idea lemme know and I will do my best! :)
Hi guys! : )
Anyone care to assist me with the an8 & 9 plz..... *goes down on knees and begs like his life depended on it*
hi lola!!!!
Anj - do you have any children? =o)
Miy, bless you - I would gladly swap with you. Good to see you on line again, been a long time. Go and enjoy your tutilage - it may seem like a real ain in the arse right now but we've all been there.
Hi, lola...... Are you gonna update your icon for President's Day......
movieman - dont get on your knees like that with all these women around - you dont know what ideas they may get! an8+9: lobby or annex, and its plural. Compound word, a combination of two other 4 letter words in the grid!
@}-->---->---------- @}-->--- ->---------- @}-->---->------ ---- @}-->---->---------- @} -->---->---------- @}-->----> ---------- @}-->---->-------- -- Flowers for FMitch....sorry about the job....it's challenging but can turn out....my hubby was job searching & found something better than what he had.... networking was his best lead.... Good luck...(((HUG))))
((( lola )))
I've been through the horror that is secondary school and exams as well Miyavi, and to tell you the truth, I'd rather have spent those years in the company of Messers Krueger AND Vorhees.....
Toes! ...a mini toes?? WOW! Congrats! : ) (((x)))
Awwww lola thank you hun! I feel blessed... and fat ROFL
Aww, FMitch, sis! Have some hugs (((x)))
Thanx Dachef.....
I have to be honest... The whole world feels different now. I am just in that gitty love life time I guess?
Hi movieman! I'll get me a pres as soon as I can, okay? ; )
I cant believe that rosti isnt a word. I just ate one.
I am overwhelmed by the tide of hugs and good wishes - thank you so much!!!
LMAO @ dachef
Toes, I didn't feel fat when I was preggers....I WAS fat : /...and I cried all the time. I cried over beer commercials!
lol FMitch, Movieman...both good arguments, but I'm seriously considering getting myself bitten by a rabid dog so I have an excuse to stay off school tomorrow
HoLola! (((xx))) : ) Toes, none of my own yet...
my art teacher is proud of her bump. I was forced to put my hands on it today, then pretended to be overwhelmed by the baby kicking ("it's LIFE") as a chance to escape.
Oh Miya, did you know that there are over 30 j-rock bands (including DeG) playing SXSW in Austin TX next month? ; )
lola - I was just telling Anj that I cry a lot. At most everything. All happy tears but still... Fat feeling today but I think thats because I gave us pizza for lunch....a lot of pizza
Has anyone seen the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"? Well, if the technique for memory erasure that was featured in that movie really existed, I'd choose to have my entire secondary school life wiped from my mind......
ANJ! WHAT! You would be an awesome father! You should have babies around. Might I ask how old you are? Curious :)
Anj, I know and I'm SO, SO jealous! A friend of mine over there has a backstage pass...she's promised to glomp Kyo for me, but it's just not the same :/
Hey babe! (((xx))) : ) Toes, when are you due?
lola - did you ever feel like the bottomless pit when you were preggo? I am hungry all the time!I mean I am used to a 24'' waist and I know that I am going to get round fast! VROOM!
movieman, we own the dvd, and saw it on the big screen. Phenomenal; cheated out the Oscar.
lola - to be honest I am not sure! I am going to the doctor tomorrow. I ahve been told from a few of the docs I work with I should be early August at the latest
Toes when I was pregnant with my youngest I would make my 2 year old a full sandwich knowing she couldn't eat the whole thing and I would have to finish it for her. LOL
Toes - August 10th is a great day for a birthday!! : )
Toes, I was nauseous 24/7 for the first three months. The only thing that made me feel better was eating white bread and cereal. Then the nausea got better and I pretty much ate everything that wasn't moving (because I was too large by then to chase anything).... : )
oo5/10? Pleeeeeeeease!!!!!!
Miya, maybe she can get a collar to go with your tie : )
I agree, ch, and it was, in my opion, Jim Carrey's best performance since The Truman Show.....

Hi eb, are you pres. Roosevelt?
she'd better XD I've given her my demands...she must glomp Kyo and bring him back with her, steal whatever hat Kaoru is wearing, get Shinya's autograph and steal Yuyu, hold mistletoe over Toshiya (tis the season...?) and just...keep Die in a cage for the rest of his days XD
Dachef, think of a spooky Great Lake and use hoops instead of Es : )
NVM, found the smegger (again). Deutsch - what happened to the stripey horse show?
Deutsch...yup & Eleanor....
Dachef, if you look carefully, you can see President Bush is thinking about the "endanged" zebra. LOL
kristin - as I said to Toes - Aug. 10th is a great day!! (my birthday...)
lol Miya, just a short list of demands then : )
ooh EB-good to know! I have another friend pulling for that date

Canada pulled it off --- the whole game would have been a comedy of errors if the win wasn't so important. As it was, it was a nail biter.

Homegirl - still confused. words - press F5 - covers a multitude of sins!!!
Chic - yes they were because he refused to shot a bear
thanks so much lola & dachef!

Anj had a good one for the oo earlier - scary Great Lake with hoops instead of e's
oo 5 - like "spooky" but with o's instead of e's.... oo 4 - what you wear in the winter on your feet (without the b)
oo5/10: a sppoky lake with oo's instead of ee's. (blatantly plagiarised from Anj earlier on_ oo4/4: Brittney Spears song: oo** I did it again. Change the third letter. <hangs head in shame at knowing a Brittney Spears song>
Dachef - ROFL!!!!!!!

anj are you doing the victory two step???
Ni 7/28 -- tack a hoop on the end

191 total words 4-letter words: 80 5-letter words: 64 6-letter words: 27 7-letter words: 13 8-letter words: 5 9-letter words: 2 just so I don't have to scroll so far down. :)
sassyfrau, copy it into a notepad window. Then you can see the grid and number count at the same time. And Hi!
'nite Lo : ) Sweet dreams... I keep getting phone calls lol : /
Just saw your post Deutsch. Bully, I say, bully!
anj - we thought you had left the scene....
Thanks for the notepad tip Deutsch!
Mab, Yes you would say that. did you know TR had a zebra while at the white house? I would have used that as an icon, but it was too grainy. so I have Bush dreaming about the "Endanged" zebras.
yw, sassyfrau. someone passed it on to be when I first started babbling.
I don't know much about Teddy's presidency, but have enjoyed reading his account of struggling through Africa with an immense entourage, collecting trophies. It's terrible, but they did that then.
hi all.
Hi Angel, Mab, I've heard some about that. I will have to read more.
Anj, don't know if you're still around, but I love your icon. i think it must be an actor and a modern photo, as people didn't look so good back in the day. Johnny Depp?
Hi Angel. Rough day?
I've been off making web pages
gotta run, friends. see you soon!
hi
i like all of the S's
Bye Deutsch. Hi sunspot.
y aren't we all watching the olympics instead of playing this boring game?
It's the babble curse, sunspot.
sunpot...I'm doing both!
i like it but it gets old fast that is y i only score fifty points a day
hey, mab, can you do me a favor? I just edited my profile...go take a look and see what you think, please?
for the life of me, I can't find words today. any clues for the 9's?
angel one 9 is a plural of an mo8-to get the mo 8 it is the mo4/5 (meaning single) plus a ti4/4 (meaning color)
does everyone on here know eachother personally? or just IMing through babble?
I know me very well 8 D
do you have to pay the ten$ to get a profile this website just wants money!
angel-the other is an9, plural of the 8 to get that it is the an4/4 (meaning before) + the ro4/5 (for a specific place in your house-ie living****)
Hello. Just popping in w/a quick question. The other day a newbie started on babble because she/he couldn't get into tangle word? or something like that. Does any1 know what that game or site was?
thanks, kristin!
just back to say goodnight all... see you soon :D
gramma...tangleword is on iwin.com
sunpot, the pro status gets you a letter grid as well as the profile, flag & icon. The grid makes finding words so much easier.
It was www.iWin.com for tanglewords
yw-glad they worked
Thanks Angelsong. I thought I'd give it a looksie. ^_^
anj, if you have time, take a look at my updated profile...:)
Its not as good as babble
I'm back.. I found the site, but; I couldn't find a game called tangle word. Any advice?
Sorry, Angel, I was off counting my missing words. I like your idea and think it might be especially helpful to have all info organized and in one place. I would be interested in Jamie's point of view - perhaps the two of you could do business. I understand that you are not seeking that, however, your work is potentially worth a lot. A web page could be seen as part of the evolution of babble, and I like that.
Angel, a Babblebrowser?? : )
:) It's very handy, Anj! I use mine every single day.
kristinc an 8/45 my word will not go in with the clue you gave before and living****
Gamma its on www.iwin.com
Gramma, you might just try googling tanglewords... might be easier to find that way.
mab, I find mine incredibly useful daily, and it was especially so when I was brand new to the game. It saves lots of time and makes things easily accessible.
ros-if you have the an word meaning before, then just add a ro4/5 word meaning a portion of your house (has a double vowel in it)-pluralize for the 9
since I already have mine done, it's work of mere minutes to do more.
I found the site iWin but didn't see tangle word. I'll try again. Thanks 8)
gramma, make sure you typed in www.iwin.com not www.iwon.com. They're two totally different sites. When you get to iwin, Tangleword is about halfway down the page on the right under the blue heading, Classic. You can't play it with the Firefox browser at this time, though. Have to use Internet Explorer. It is a fun game. A bit more like Boggle, with times rounds and all...
my grid will not accept the word help
is the an word you have ending in a e (not an i)? If not, refresh?
mab, I'd be happy to send you a sample babble page, if you want to see it.
Kristinc found them now was spelling the before word with the wrong vowel thanks for your help
rosalind230 first half ends with e
ros-I was beginning to supect that :) Well done!
Lots of valuable info is on babs anon, much of it done by Anj. And then there is brandyjack, of course. But I'm not sure everyone knows it's there. Your idea sounds sensible to me. I would think attributions to Anj, brandyjack, etc. might be nice to include. (I especially like Anj's referral to the Brit/American English website)
I had not got the first an4/4 i missed it I have 5 to find them I am finished
NIcely done Ros!-42 here to go for me but I keep doing other things and getting distracted so it seems to take longer
Rosalind: new babies do look like Winston Churchill! Interestingly, both Churchill and TR were depressives (Chuchill's black dogs, etc.).
BJ is already credited, and I can certainly add a credit (a big one!) for Anj. I definitely am interested in sharing the page idea and the pages, with those who are interested. Not sure who to contact, though.
Thats what I do but am determined to finish now I am getting tired its 23.30 here nearly bedtime
can i have a clue for the sn8 please?
I'm not sure, Angel, and I understand so little of computer things. Maybe brandyjack. Or you could go to Dr. G-d, aka Jaimie.
Cathy: more sn5/10 than thou.
lol...thanks mab...but i don't think u r!!! :)
then again...nor am i LOL
You've got to love the sn's today!
i wonder why the mo7 is not a word...hmm...i mean, the one that is not part of the computer but sounds like it...it is the lizard.
If it's not in the grid, I think it's okay to say it...
I just googled the lizard; it's the same spelling as the computer MO.
Dr. God...ya better look it up in yer dictionEry LOL ;)
i like lizards.....
I am finished see you tomorrow nite
Do the different endings mean different things? For the mo7, I mean...
Well done, Mr. PM, and good night!
OOPS!!! I hope the good doc will forgive me my error. I should not speak unless based upon fact! Sorry guys. guess i was getting mixed up with the "k" in place of the "t"
No Jera...I was having a moment.
Ren, I like the little gekkos, but others repel me. I am horrified by the mo's. They can take a chunk out of one!
Oh, okay... me, too, actually, LOL! I'm easily confused, especially this time of night...
forgive us our sins ...and lead us not into babble temptation.
one of the girls i work with has a gekko... also a shih-tsu...4 cats, tropical fish and a hamster. in a small apartment no less
would Dr G-d respond to an e mail?
Good Heavens Angel!!! Please don't report my transgression!!! ;)
He's very prompt, Angel.
Ah-hah!!! So He really IS a man!!!
not to worry, Cath. I Babble, I don't rat.
Yes, he's pretty open about his real name, which is Jamie. I forget his last name.
God Luv Ya Angel!!! If he's single...maybe he dates Angels!!! :)
i have 3 gekkos....the 3 amigos
cool MAB...does He ever report in to the chats?
The God of Babble-onia!
LOL...yet another error.... Babble-on
Oh, sweet, ren. When my ex lived in the virgin islands, gekkos came in and out of the house at will. One lived under his refrigerator. I like them because they are cute and because they get out of one's way. (no squish, oh dear.)
When he has an announcement, yes. His icon is a member of a rock and roll band. He could be a precocious 11-year-old in real life.
mab - and they eat buggies we don;t like!!!!
Yes, they are good lizards.
back to work...talk to you later
message has been sent to Dr G-d re my Babble page.
back to the grid so I can watch a film tonight. Later ren.
Sorry Angel, the unBabbleverse grabbed me for a while there again : / The all-in-one page set up sounds like a good idea. It's definately worth running it past Dr G : )
Anj, I just sent Dr G an e mail. And, I've included a credit to you for your work on BA on my page.
Whoo-hoo! *happy dance of done-ness*
Aww thanks Angel, but we can all take credit for making this site work : )
Right, gotta scoot. Have fun folks. Catch you tomorrow : )
Everyone must eaither be very busy or not here... I'm turning in early tonight... trying to get rid of the last of my flu. Nite all!
hi everyone, it's my second day here - so far, so good. i found yesterday's puzzle overwhelming and spent entirely too much time on it. this one is alot better. i am almost done, BUT these last 2 are driving me crazy! and, again, have spent too much of the day here, lol.
can anyone give me a hand with the second an6/18 and an 7/28 - that's all i have left, and i AM going to finish this one!

I need a ni5 and a ni6 and I don't know which ones...I have opposite of day + consonant, then made plural; I have the white or gray mineral plus plural plus alternate spelling; I have what sounds like a gas, plus plural. Somewhere in there I need one more 5 and one more 6. Any ideas?

Wow!!! 45 words left! I think that's the closest I have ever gotten...but it's 11 p.m. here. time for a break methinks.
Just finished - anyone need anything before I go and get some real work done?
Anyone know how GW's Sebastian is tonite?
jojo, was he sick last night?
Doxy: Yes, he caught his sister's cold, and they took Sebastion to the hospital. Just wondering is everything is OK.
sounds like it could be RSV. it is a cold in older children and adults. can be very dangerous for babies.
that's what he said it was, doxy - but says they say he will be fine
Hi Babblers: Finding some of those last words has been a bit tricky!
that's good.
Doxy: Don't know, haven't heard. Leslie: Didn't hear, logged on late last night. So, Sebastion is OK, and home?
no, i hadn't heard he was home - i just remember gw saying the drs. said he would be ok
missing one so7....not the messy afterburnt stuff one
there is one that is the plural of not daughter + picnic pest given earlier, cathy?
Thanks LeslieAnn....have been struggling for that.
bless u leslieann ty so much
ha just repeating the clue that i got earlier!
oh i just got an sk 5/18 from watching the olympics!
38 words left....I think all that's left to do is monkey-type, since I have all 7's, 8's and 9's.
go cathy
go go cathy!
Hi everyone -- finally getting on today :)
hi GW
hello gw
Hey doxy -- you are correct -- Seb has RSV, I noticed him wheezing after a fussy night Saturday so I woke Kirsten early and she said we needed to take him in to be checked
how is he doing?
Woulfie: Is Sebastion OK, and home?
We caught it just as it was manifesting so he is doing just fine --- they have him on a nebuliser -- they were giving him Albuterin to open his airways but it boosted his heart rate too much so they went with an alternate --- no fever at all -- he has impressed all the medical personnel he has met Mom - of course - is practically a basket case while staying with him in the hospital
the last mo 5/12 anyone?
With luck, they will be home by Wed -- but that is not official -- just hopeful prognostication given how positive everyone is about him
jeffer, last two mo 5/12 are adding one letter to the mo 4/5 (not more but mo**)
glad to hear he is doing well.
Woulfie: Glad Sebe is getting better. But Wednesday for a home coming, is pretty long to be w/o your son. How is Kirsten holding up?
doxy -- so am I -- I was so stressed yesterday, plus having been up for over 24 hours with only an hour and a half nap just before the whole debacle began, I fell asleep with my fingers on the keyboard while Babbling last night!!
thanks leslieann
need a clue for the second mo7/32, 8/45 combo pls. also the mo5/12 before them.
oops thanks leslieann - got those need the third from last mo 5/12, then
thanks for that mo*** Leslieann... phewf...down to 31 now...ugh
jeffer, add a vowel to your mo4/5
green stuff... spanish mo** + a vowel
The worst part of the whole situation was that since I didn't have Seb's car seat in my car (because we had put it in Gramma's car to facilitate her help us out) -- I called 911 to get an ambulance for legal safe transport Would you believe that the rig that responded didn't have infant transport gear!!! We ended up calling Gramma to come over anyway to take him in :\
two of those, doxy... another word for computer screen, mo***** (and plural) and well as mo*** carlo + **w your boat (and plural)
I believe it GW. not all of them have infant transport unless specifically used for that purpose.
oh goodness, what a couple of days, gw
Wouilfie: Wow, what a story about the 911 call, and the baby seat thing. Never trust the gov. to do what is necessary, they just don't cut it.
Thanks doxy1lover - my last word.
congrats jeffer.
hooray jeffer!
Which doesn't make sense, doxy -- they transported Seb from the local hospital to the nearest satellite of the Childrens' Hospital and that rig had the correct gear. She says that the whole thing takes up the space of a bread box when stored --- why wouldn't every rig be equipped with one?
Yayyy for jeffer!!!
thanks leslieann. (sorry, was away from computer for a few minutes.)
WAHHH...29 left...I'm dyin here people!!! monkey-typing like a fool!!!
don't cry cathy, just ask for help (admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery)
UGHHH....sooo late...past midnite...no...time to ask... need psychiatric help to keep this up! danged monkeys

Just like the cdn ice dance team... i can no longer babble this night.
Bye-bye...thanks a bunch to u all who had clues to aid my efforts... It's a fun game...but I can babble no more...else i may babble about at work tomorrow.
bye cathy.
BUT I can say I THINK I am the last canadian babbler standing this round.
woooo cathy wins the canadian gold
***takes a bow and off to bed*** NITE FELLOW BABBLERS!!!!
have I missed any clues for the mo8/9 combo (got both 7/8's)?
mo8,9 - mo4 meaning single + ti4 meaning color and plural
ishult, it's a compound word... mo** meaning "one" + a word for different hues of a color
thanks guys, at least I now have al;l the 8's & 9's. still 69 more to go!!
OK -- I have been lurking and not hunting so I am gonna go for now -- if Jacula pops up, please relay my latest info as she wanted to know may be back for the flip (*hugs to all*)
rest well GW.
can i get a clue for an8/45 please
Finished. And a late icon change: The Prez, Lester Young 'Night all.
an8,9 - an4 + ro4, means foyer
finished. Congrats mab.
And to you doxy.

Hello? Anyone have a clue for the mo 6/21 and fourth mo 7/32, please?
Grim - if I'm correct you are missing to5/10, 5/18 and 4/5 which are the 4th, 5th and 6th from the bottom of your list.
Mo4/5 but add hesitation sounding ending - then plural for the 7.
thanx, Dianne
Missing the first to6/18. It's just above the to4/4 that's how many words we had to find in the grid yesterday. Please
Cinder - think of the actor To Curtis then make his first name "even more so".
Dianne- Great clue! THANK YOU! :)
Your welcome :)
How many in this one?
