*~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~ For everyone who FINISHED!! Congrats
Just finished -- that wasn't so bad -- a new record for me, I think -- 1 hour 12 minutes.
Good night all (if there's anyone left!)
te5, te6,te7 (after the easy setof decimals)??
te5: small mountain or glacial lake te 6 & 7 (plural): renter(s) good luck and good night!
Morning dear gang :) A babygrid, I see... is it tough?
morning sprite Small but deadly!!
Argh, I see... 10 words in 5 minutes, that's not boding well...
Been going just short of an hour, still need 30 words and they are coming verrrrrrry slowly now!!!
Stats panel claims there are still 57 other words hiding in here. Don't believe it! ;)
Sprite, you will find them. All of a sudden they will just pop out.
Hi dalmatian! You are right, down to 32 now. Still a tough one, though.
a missing qu6 all that's left! ideas?
It is not easy but not as bad as last night!
Morning..... Oh i don`t like baby grids on a Wednesday!!! I take it to work with me, but this is hardly worthwhile. I like one to sink my teeth into :/
Lousy timing of babble to be small then, lotti! ;) Good luck at work!
Thanks Sprite :) How you doing today?
A bit shaky. We got the concept analysis from the company doctor last Saturday. Yesterday we got the copy of the final version, as sent to my employer. So we never got a chance to object to all the misconcepts in there... and I spent half the day writing a letter to her and to my superior, to put things right. That company doctor is so utterly incompetent it is frightening.
Morning all.Just thinking of you lotti. Not a lot to keep you busy with only 84.
Hi macadam :)
te5, small mountain or glacial lake? Can't find it!
Hi sprite.Someone ought to do a concept analysis of the company doctor.Keep your chin up.You`re better than they are.
Aww thats so frustrating, especially as you had corrected the doctor and was ready to quote your truthful version!!!! Lets hope it finally dawns on someone how useless she is!!! Well i`d better go ... school run to do. Take care, i`ll speak to you soon ((((xxx))))
lds I have ta4 small lake + plural
See you later lotti.
Hi mum.....looks like a "Take a Break" day!! I may even brave it an open my math homework folder!!!!!!! Arrrgghh!!!!!!!
Brave child ;-)
LOL...Bye everyone : )
still missing the qu6/33? all the other q's came fast!!
I agree on the analysis of the doctor, LOL! My husband is very good on juridical things, so he was a big help. We made our own analysis, made a very to-the-point letter for the doctor and wrote a letter to my superior, with all the other stuff attached. So he'll know what's going on. That doctor put in the analysis I don't want to talk to my superior. So untrue. All I turned down was his invitation to come and have a cup of coffee with my colleagues. Quite a different thing, don't you think?
qu6/33 small committee often part of a government but supposed to be neutral
Very different sprite.Perhaps your superior will see the light now.
Let's hope so, macadam. First impressions often linger, and he doesn't know me. He's the sixth superior in 3 years time, we haven't even met yet. But at least he will have two reports to compare with eachother, not just the faulty one of the company b... er... doctor.x
hi guys , can u tell me is there any way of looking at yesterdays solution
That is a rapid turn over for the top job.Is this anything to do with their ability or otherwise to do the job.
sandyloo: click "view yesterday's puzzle" and then select one of the names of the people that finished. All the words are listed there.
lmao: now i see it!!!! and thanks
It is even worse, macadam. The company thinks that team leaders shouldn't get attached to their team, they must stay impartial. So they make them switch teams every year at least, sometimes more often. Our company has been in a massive reorganisation for years now and it won't be finished anytime soon... it is pure hell to work there. Management is crazy.
Hi guys, My sentiments too mac, I was just thinking that is a very hight turnover, something is not right there!
That's nuts , how can you have impartial team leaders!!!!
Hi FM.A bit odd so many in such a short time. How are you?
What kind of system are they using? Designed by a shrink to test their theories?
Morning macadam, not so good the Company I was working for has been closed and I am trying to tie up all the loose ends this week and then start job hunting next week.
That's just it, management IS crazy. They have such stupid ideas, and we all know beforehand they won't work out as planned, but we are not believed until proven right, years after the facts... I often feel like I am explaining all day that water is wet... and I am not believed. I really think it is time to look for another job. It's just very hard, because I am partly handicapped. I am a great employee, but how to convince a company of that??
FMitch: sorry to hear that. That's tough!
Ra6, RA7 - don't have a clue! Anyone?
Sorry to hear that FM.I hope you find something soon.Your life will be on hold for a while I suspect.
sorry lds, can't hep you on the r's yet.
ra6 - baby toy (+ plur)
thanks - was just playing with granddaughter today and used it!
Am just keeping fingers crossed that I will be able to get the salary and expenses that are owing otherwise.... anyway back to the grid, Only found 15 words so far.
despite mac's earlier clue, I still can't get the q6/33?
Sounds a bit like the firey dance that is also in the grid Ishult
GA6 & TA5 and it's all over for the night but... And not the dance or the lake
quasi non governmental organisation.
thanks FMitch, didn't have the dance yet either!!
ive got 32 so far
Sorry only half a message ishutt. The qu6 is based on that title.
macadam - that is definately todays facinating fact, I didn't know that was how the name came about!
I`m a dustbin of useless information or so I`ve been told.
LOL
:D I love you, macadam!
done in record time - I like these short ones! Some cute constructs
WTG lds!
Thanks sprite. The feeling is mutual.Remember we all care about you.YOU ARE IMPORTANT.Believe us.
Thank you for that. I will bear that in mind and it will help :)
Seconded by me!!!! Well said macadam!!
Must go now.Work calls.See you later.
Good day at work, macadam, and thanks again :)
these game sites are so theraputic and they stave off alzheimers as well
Bye, mac, good to see you.
Somehow this has become a very supporting chat community indeed... and alzheimer, sure... er... what was that again?
LOL sandyloo - theraputic or adictive?
Addictively therapeutic or therapeutically addictive.
nothing wrong with addictive after all they're not fattening and they dont give u lung cancer and as well as that our livers stay healthy ....lol...so i guess its all good
Finished!!!!!! Time to give clues Any takers?
I'll buy into that sandyloo!!
WTG Ishult - I don't have enough words to be at the clue stage yet but thanks for the offer.
Hear hear sandyloo! And fireworks for Ishult!
dont know why it wont accept ehah i always say that when im riding my horse!!!!! eeeee haaaa!
Babble is sooooo partial on words like that! Ehah should be valid, since pfui (or worse: phooey) is.
it should be especially valid when im trying so hard for the dark grey e square up there....boo hoo
I am with you there... can't find that one myself either.
Are you talking about the e on the right hand side 2nd line?
That's the one.
yes
ehah fits lol
Can't believe it - just found it with monkey typing and the def is as weird as the word el4/5 Of, relating to, involving, or designed for use in grades 1 to 12.
Right! We came across that one before. I forgot... might be alzheimer after all ;)
I think it is a kind of abbreviation. First two for ..... dear Watson. And the other two for not low education, perhaps?
When i discovered this site ...less than a week ago ...they warned of addiction...as i am already addicted to tangle and i thought this looked a bit quiet i confidently joined in,...now , hmm, i must admit to finding it strangely compelling and even maybe with the view of perhaps becoming a little addicting
LOL sandyloo... you're sliding, my dear, slowly but surely...
...soon she will be one of us..!!!! LOL
im definitely in denial
cant believe i could ever be more addicted to anything but tangle
For me it's got at least something to do with it having an end. That nagging "you have 14 words left to find" will not let me go until it's become zero. Argh!
if i ever got to zero i would be truly amazed
Hm..... I'll give you two weeks. Tops. You will have finished a grid before that, I am sure! :)
... and once you finish a grid there is no turning back!!
well one can always live in hope
u must get to know some of the more tricky words i guess and while i have the first half of the e word I(i like sherlock holmes) the second part still evades me
You are right, the nasty strange ones become familiar after a while and that helps a lot. Second half of the E4 is abbrev. of not low.
I can't believe how many grey boxes I have but still am only at the half way mark.
whoo hoo
I am down to 10 and the going has gotten really tough. Can't be called going anymore. Even crawling is too optimistic.
ive got 40 left to find so im feeling very productive lol
Great going, more than half through. The halfway mark is always interesting... usually it gets tougher after that ;)
and then the site hic ups and throws you out for a few moments.
*beats site over the head with a fish* Don't throw FMitch out, you, hear you!
Well... overlooked the house renters, the vulcano, the wise man and dear Russian Peter. Guess that after repairing that I am finished :) Any clues needed?
never thought I would be dissapointed to have finished a grid. Supposed to be working, but can't be bothered. Would rather still be babbling!!
ok its wine oclock here so i will be back later
See you, sandyloo! Ishult, I know the feeling. We should ask Jamie to put up another grid, apart from the rankings, for those finishing too early on the day, LOL! For the hard core addicts.
Mabey a "classic grid" page featuring those massive 400+ grids that only the crazy diehards finished in the day. Us mere mortals could go back on a day like this and babble to our hearts content!!
That's a nice idea! I am off, good luck hunting all!
I'm off too. Time for a spot of lunch I think.
argh, site froze on me again, bye to those that have gone!!!!!
A quick good morning to all.
Morning Haz
good Morning a half an hour and 14 words later ,this one is hard
I've cheated with every resource available to get finished as I have lots to do today. There are more normal words in there than you might imagine.
i've got 26 words left to find I've started to struggle now
its the normal ones i get its the abnormal im having trouble with , ill go swimming for awhile and do some more later
good evening all!
run away while you still can mrp!
LOL!! that good huh?
Hey MrP, How are you doing?
I don't believe what I just did!!! I reached into a jar in the pantry to get some almonds, and got a mouthful of dog biscuits instead!! E E E W WWWWWW!!!!
**washing my mounth out with vodka to disinfect it**
LOL
still at least you'll have glossy fur and a cold nose soon :)
FMitch... well, what can I say *WOOF*.... how are you??
Laughing at your predicament MrP!!!! Life is not so good right now but the grid if fun.
Aw! You OK though??
Atalante... what an awesome page you have!!
Darn gotta go. BBL
bye FMitch!!
gotta go too... see you all later! bye (wave)
never have finished one of these and I'm only 9 words away. I'm about to lose my mind.
cyko... what do you need? (before I GO! for real)
ra 6/18 and 7/28
A baby's toy or the noise of a snake
ra6/18 what a baby plays with or a type of snake then plural for the 7
Oh geez now I see it thanks
Thank you mrp. I was stuck on that one, and you came up with the clue at precisely the right time!
exwren!!! good to see you!!
sorry haz, you as well!
It's okay - glad you got it!
Good morning everyone.
Good morning, Eva.
hello everyone been reading the chat and lol cyko ..only 9 eh!
yeah I'm getting there slowly but surely
i have 26 to go and im overwhelmed with excitement
Ok I need help again with ga 6/24 plz and thanks
ga 6/24 is the name of a bird.
g plus girl's name plus beverage
WHEW THANKS
Scots people also use it to describe someone who is greedy - presumably because the bird is a voracious feeder.
u guys should construct crossword puzzles
It's probably years of doing crossword puzzles that has us as addicted to finding words!
morning, one to get -- it's an a6 anyone help please.
morning Grim we live quite near I live near Gainsborough
morning tiger
ar 6/24 is French for silver - or just add ge4/6
thank a lot
You're welcome - have to go now. 'Bye all.
Have you started Babbling recently. If so I have to warn you it's very addictive?
en5/10 anyone?
no, been doing it while. wife just phoned to say she is bringing fish and chips, so got to go . bye
Bye Grim
Got it! DONE!!! Not a bad little gird. Especially compared to the last one.
Bye everyone. off to prepare for painting the living room.
But am available for a few clues before I leave, if anyone wants them.
Hi all
Hi Adman
sorry Adsman
Tiger : )
Wow that was fun... I'll be back later to pay it forward!
Thank you everyone for the help this morning. Bye!!
How many words are there today peeps?
it's a small one today 84
Thanks tiger : )
All done - bit of a relief today after recent grids!
All done. Didn't even have to look to the log for clues. Disappointingly easy grid.:-( I suppose I'll have to do real work for the rest of the day.
me too! I had to leave it a few times to do other things, do that too often and I will be barred!
wow it vey quite in here
It is Shorty!!!
i never seen it so quite
it could be cos the grid is a small one.
could be everybodys done and gone
gmornin babblers!
talking of which I must be off but am not done
ok bye bye
Sneaking in while the twins are still in bed....Shhhh
*tiptoes over + whispers hello to bunny*
Well THAT didn't last!!! Maybe she will go back to sleep. How's the grid?
84 words total, i started less than 15 minutes ago + im half done with no outside help... hehe
Wow, good for you, I can't even focus yet, waiting for those last few drop of coffee to brew....gives me hope. It's nice to get a short one every now and then.
always seem to get the short ones on the days that im short on work -- and therefore have time to do a longer puzzle! hehe
Sad as it sounds, I will shirk my wifely and motherly duties to finish a grid, after a real big one, everyone is starving, you can barely walk through the house, and I can't feel my legs anymore, so a short one does me a bit of good. It might have something to do with the chat log too!!LOL
Howdydoodlydo : )
Morning all. Just reading the conversation
mornin anj
Evan I know what you mean about the short ones hitting on the days you have time. Although today I have tons of things I *should* do. I'd rather babble.
Morning Music and Anj! Guess the theme is fish today, but the boy has his mouth hanging open...
He's cute Bunny
Unfortunately, "rather babble" means to me - I'd rather babble than get up and circulate the blood in my legs or find some food after HOURS
Morning Eva, BV, 'mom : )
Me too Bunny. My husband was making comments about that last night:-))
TY, he's plugged in, vidoe game freak, just like his Daddy. Boggle isn't a video game, I'm innocent!!
ok, so, anyone got the 7s yet?
Howdydoodlydo back to ya Anj :)
I've got te7/28 : )
i think that is what is blowing Greg's mind - he's usually the one plugged in - not me.
I have the ra and te, haven't pulled out the list yet.
I just started - been chatting more than looking at the log.
I meant ra - baby toy or snake te 10 + little bug
ahh, just found the Te6/7 combo myself
I got it too!
I cant seem to find that "a" in the top corner.
*GRRR* i keep wanting to see "organ" in this puzzle!
it goes along with "oohs"
ta7/36 - straight line off of a circle : D
danke anj!
hey great, gottem both!! Was trying that a with two cons instead of two vowels...
*takes a bow* ; )
me too bunny -- thats the way id spell it!
brb, gonna throw on some pants and grab a cup o' joe...
ooh! bunnys got no pants on!!
Thanks for the clues guys. I'll be done in no time at this ra**
30 words left to go, and its my breakfast time! back in a bit!
Bye - enjoy! I just got my coffee.
me too : )
Whew! Better, was getting coooold!!
Is it still cold down there Bunny? We are in the 20s here. I'm cold too.
DONE...this was easy today...anyone need a clue??
Good morning! I don't think I'm ready to give up my kids to fishies just yet.
Good morning Smith. No law against keeping your kids up there.
hey guys! a shorty today (no offense, shorty!)
Hi TO
This looks easy. Is it deceptive? Congrats, ouwachita!!
Morning Smithchick, can't balme you! Music, I think this is our one and only week of winter, it's been unusually warm all season..but I'm still complaining, its in the 30's.
Yay! Ouwa. Thanks but i'm ok for now : ) Hi T-Owl : D
Good morning, Temple!
...whoops! Morning Smith' : )
Ouw, that ga 6 Haz gave a clue for earlier, can't get it.
am i the only aussie here
LOL, TO, mornin!
What time was the clue bunny?
way to go, ouwachita!
5:30
Sorry Ouw - Missed you coming in. Morning!
...looks like it Sandy : )
ga6...a large sea bird
ga6...also name of a large newspaper corporation
Smith, is that pic at the canyon?
good morning mom...hope everyone is having a lovely day...nice here for a change
Did you see the clue after that that said to put a girl's name in the middle?
ga6 - Fairy Aviation used to make them as carrier-based early elint recons aircraft. They had two radial engines driving one prop and could turn one engine off in flight to extend patrol range and time : ) More usuless info from the man that brought you beeeer milkshakes : D
yeah, it's the bev at the end getting me, must drink coffee faster, I'm daft right now!!
I'm doing fine. it is cold - but sunny.
ok where r the cute littl pics coming from?
Try the cross letter - not the whole word.
Yuummm, beer milkshakes, I missed that conversation!
Sandy, mine is from Google Image : )
No, it's in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas.
Sandy - go to my profile and edit your icon. There are instructions for how to do it.
Pretty setting
Beer milkshakes - does that work?
TY, bunny...
'mom, only of you drink it real quick and don't think about it too much ; )
bunny...did you get the ga6 yet??
TY, six clues later and I finally got, only because my fingers slipped on the board, good thing for all the fish around!
EEWWWWW I think I don't like beer enough and milkshakes too much to go there.
That's one of those things you do AFTER the bottle of hard liquor!
Yuck.... 84 today... Morning all! Are we all awake yet?
We have pants on...
a whole trip to the caf, and all i bring back is a mtn dew livewire... so now i have to choeese between the oatmeal + the cereal i have at my desk...
No - I'm getting another cup of coffee - think I'll bring the carafe in here.
Morning Toes : ) Alive & kicking here....
bunny - that is good news. althought no pants is always comfy
Oatmeal is good with mustard.
(((( ANJ )))) Come snuggle me and help me drink this pot of coffee. I made it and don't want it lol
no offense bunny, but thats the grossestestest thing ive ever heard...hehe
It's real good news since it's too cold to shave!
Okay - you all have some strange dietary preferences this morning - oatmeal+mustard and beer milkshakes. Glad I'm not pregnant - think I'd be sick.
bunny...you need those hairy legs for a winter coat??
Coffee AND a snuggle?? w00t!! I will bring the mini-eggs : D
You can eat mustard with EVERYTHING!!
ok i did that it looks very compicated but i will work on it ...one day i will learn..never seem to be able to even send pics over the emails..computor works but i dont..lol
Anj - sounds wonderful! I have fresh strawberries and home made whip cream as well... oh! and muffins!
im not a big fan of mustard to start with...thought i DO like honey-mustard on sliced up cheese... my BF puts kethup on just about everything, so you kinda remind me of him...hehe
Nope, I'm in Texas! Just down right lazy! We are in our very short winter, I'm indulging!
It only took me about 7 months to figure it out, Sandy!
Sounds good Toes : ) I will bring some sprinklies too : D
basically sandy, you just have so save a picture to your computer. you go to that page to load it up.
*hides in anj's bag cause she wants strawberries-n-cream!*
i'm drinking coffee and eating homemade choco chip cookies. Had eggs sans ketchup or mustard for breakfast.
I'll bring the mustard, and salsa, my number two condiment...
thankyou you are all so helpful u deserve sainthoods
evan! You can come cuddle and have some strawberries and whip cream too! :)
heh, i DO like me some salsa, though i really dont put it on much... but my BF and my roommate think its weird that i really like salsa on my mac-n-cheese...
...Toes, this could turn into a party pretty quickly : ) How about warm custard-filled choccy doughnouts??
bunny...you need two kinds of condoms??
ok give me a clue for the e's at the left hand side third one down
Hello, ToeSock. I don't have anything exciting to eat here but biscuits and honey.
sandy -- tops of mountains
LMAO Ouw!! Apparently that didn't work, five kids later..... CONDIMENTS, food toppings...
ooh, boston cream donuts!
Sandy, volcano on Scicily for a start... e4/4
anj , I agree! I would say party in my bed but we know that sounds just wrong lol
ah thats two ive got
Hey smith! anj, yes on the goodies! RAWR! lol
Wrong? *looks innocently at Toes* } ) heh heh
only one more of those e's to get
another E is an old english letter... or crystal **** minus the M
Sorry Sandy, I've just got two at the moment.
with 5 kids ... you probably could have gotten some Federal gr6 for that baby factory...LOL
got that one
than im missing the same as you sandy...hehe
anj - ok we can have a party in my bed... as long as you cuddle me. I just want snuggles... and in exchange I can give you a massage. Been to school for it you know
Sandy/Eva - big walky tree from LOTR plus two vowels : )
Are you kidding TSM? How many men do you know who can "just" cuddle?
anj - great clue thanks.
Especially when receiving a massage:)
Not to talk bad about the hubby, but mine does. Always tired or has a headache....
smith - I know... thats the point ROFL ;)
big walkie tree!!!!lmao ok ill think about it lol
Smith?! I assure you i'm a good boy ; ) Besides, a good massage always puts me to sleep : D
<<<bad boy...massages get me in the mood
...LOL! I walked into that one... : )
anj just read your funny spiel u should write for monty python
It's OK Ouw, being awake puts me in the mood, lol!
Hmmm... Obviously there were at least four nights when hubby didn't have a headache, bunny!
hehehehe smithchick - good one. Maybe that is the cure for the headache.
Now, anj.... About being a good boy...I've been lurking around here for months, and I know better!!
yeh i cant understand it ..im a virgin and ive got 4
Four nights in eleven years isn't a good track record!
LOL @ ouwach I agree with Sandy
get outa here bunny !!! that cant be true
Too true, bunny. He better have a whole lot else going for him!
Anj are you ticklish?
im adopted, so i can fairly legitimately believe that my parents have never had relations. :D
OK, I'm strtching a weeeee bit, maybe five....
bunnies dont have that sort of reputation
He's fun to look at and very witty, plus, he takes out the garbage every now and then and snores very loudly, what more could a girl want?
Jeeez, wonder what he tells all the guys about me?
maybe one that doesnt check his bank statement
Oh, well.... as long as he takes the garbage out, it's okay then.
Heheee Evan -- all kids *like* to think that. Sarah has just gotten to the age where Greg and I flirting with each other totally grosses her out. hehehehehe Fun!
Morning everyone!
he's actually very sweet, I haven't been up to par here lately, he let me sleep WAY in this weekend and brewed me a pot of coffee, burnt some scrambled eggs, and set me out some socks for when I got out of bed.
Hubby and I bicker a lot so when we are affectionate, the kids are just relieved that we aren't getting a divorce!
biggest argument we ever had was over garbage...she wanted it taken out during the last 10 minutes of the Superbowl...then proceeded to throw the bag at me when I refused...lol
Cheers Sandy - that reminded me to make a couple of updates to it : ) 'Smith, when i'm bad i'm better } ) Toes, er, yes I am lol...and it turns me on pdq LOL : D
Morning Jen!
Hey jen! Aren't we all, anj?
Hi Jen.
ok, any hints for the T on the right side?
'Ello Jen! Anj - I have it made! WOOT!
Goodness but the conversation is very PG-13 for so early in the morn! ;)
I am a perv :( hah!
t on right side...think russian ruler
that t looks a hard one
Hi Jen : ) Toes, behave or you will get me in trouble : D LOL!
thanks OU -- i *knew* it had to be a TS, but all i could think of was tsetse...hehe
not so hard when u know
it's very hard to babble with a large cat on your lap
bye all...work to get done
See that is my problem! I am crushin' on ya Anj.... *smiles shyly* ;)
11 words left and only my fourth game.. im practically a hero
Bye Ouw.
Bye, ouwachita! Be sure to take that trash out!!
ONLY good trouble.... Who wants coffee??
We've got more cats that we can handle, soft heart for strays. Cat food bill is outrageous, we have two that sleep in bed with us, one covers itself up. I'll donate one to play with yours and pre occupy it!!
TSM, you better look out for Lola!
Aww cheers Toes (((Toes))) : ) Oooh! Me for coffee - can't get wired enough : D
im going for another wine in a minute
Bye Ouw!
No thanks on the cats. We have two already - brother and sister. Terry (the boy) loves to sit on my lap when I have th laptop out.
21 words left to go here!3x6, 10x5, 8x4!
*Jac nips in and switches the jukebox on. It's playing The Kinks' 'Lola'.*
*Hands Anj a mug of hot coffee* Cream? Sugar? EAK! Smith... I forgot! *shivers* *looks at Anj dreamy eyed* Dang.... :\
Hey, jacula! lalalalaLola...

there certainly are a lot of interjections in the grids this past week...
ar6
Eva, qu6/33 - small govt dept : )
ta6/24
thanks MM!
qu6/33
gr6 plural of gr5/14
ra6 babies toy
te6/18? : /
There are so many "real" words today that it is confusing me.
TO -- 10 little bugs. :)
T-Owl - those who live in a property?
Sorry folks, I nipped off to print out a recipe for American pancakes. My kids have been raving about them every since they returned from the US.
ok anj + MM -- help me more with this other QU6...heh
Jac, how are American pancakes different from yours?
te6/18, you pay rent to live there te 6/21 plural of te 5/18
nevermind, i just noodled it. stupid word!
Well, our pancakes are rather spectacular! Especially my homemade buttermilk pancakes with blueberries!
got it, thanks ! : ) me, too - for the Q?
Ditto on the qu!
TO, the QU6 i just found rhymes with a tropical fruit
Being a savory rather than a sweet person, I adore Dutch pancakes made with ham and cheese!
the other QU6 is plural of a QU5
Jen - ours are much thinner. They don't contain sugar, oil or baking powder, either.
So more like a crepe, then.
qu5/16 - Surname of Mary, fashion guru of the 60s/70s. qu6 is plural.
It's an acronym over here... Quasi AUtonomous Non-Governmental Organisation : )
Jen - Yes.
thanks for qu6/33! i would have gotten it in another hour or so : /
i think babble needs to choose either england-ish or american-ish cause really, its 2 different languages! hehe
i want snart to be a word...i just like the sound of it!
qu6/33 rhymes with the ta5/14 dance. (The one you do with a rose between your teeth.)
LOL Temple... I was just monkeying around with the sn's and thinking the same thing!!!
...i'm still in a weed about yesterday's 'spiderier'.. : / I mean, come on Enable...
I can honestly say that I've never seen or heard of that qu6/33 word. Never, ever, ever.
I want the bad word with an 'e' at the end to be a word!
i'm missing two words -both qu one of them the 33. Still working at it.
ta7/36 te7/28 Which 7 am I missing?

Anj - I agree. A very silly word!
smith -- RA7 -- plural of babies toy
Thanks Jac - jus tsaw your clue. that helps.
I do too, since I don't say the real one in front of my son. :)
Jen - I want sh***er to be in there... so close!!
ra7/28
stuck at 72....
i also say "schnikeys" a lot...hehe
FINISHED!!!! I can't believe this. It isn't even 10 a.m. yet. Of course, it was a short/easy one but still.....
Yay, musicmom!!! Thanks for the ra clue. Duh was what I said to myself! Hello, haz!
yay musicmom! does that mean it's too early to pop the cork on a bottle of bubbly?
still 17 left to go here! *dragging feet*
i'm going to step out and do some paperwork and lesson planning. Will probably be back later to visit.
sn4 is a problem or hitch. sn5 has no definition but rhymes with the paved thing that goes up your garden. (And that you may sometimes be led up...)
It's never too early for that TO. I even have orange juice for mimosas.
certainly not too early for mimosas! ;)
Yay for MM and bye :)
'Bye, MM. I hope Greg's Mom is okay.x
TY for the sn5 Jacula... never would have gotten that!
bye, mom!
Bugzy - I only found it by monkey typing mathematically.
ill have a large mimosa please, light on the juice. ;)
Bye jac. I think you have me confused with snowy - Greg's mom is fine. (as far as i know)
Bye, musicmom!
OOps, sorry MM!
Bye Jac! And it's never too early for a Bloody Mary either! :)
I just finished - for the first time!!!! And this is my first post, too. A lot of firsts today...
I've just looked up that sn5 word on Google. It's a type of 2-handled scythe.
* opens little umbrella and places it in glass* here you go : D
CONGRATS to all that finished
What's a mimosa? The only mimosa I know is a plant genus.
Way to go, ytd!!
jacula -- a mimosa is champagne mixed with OJ. :)
Jacula, I'm going to try your recipe for Coffe and Bailey's cheesecake. Does it freeze successfully?
vtd - Well done! (And welcome.)
I'm missing one e. I've got three e4's and an e5. Any clues?
WTG vtd!!
Jacs - mimosa = bucks fizz I think. Afternoon all
Haz - I've no idea. It's never lasted long enough in our house to need freezing.
There are two e 5s
* hands vtd a glass* well done!
FMitch - Thanks.:-)
Thanks, haz!
Well, I'll try it and see - I have people coming for dinner on Sunday and thought it might be a chance to get ahead of myself!
Yay for VTD!!
Smithchick, apologies for not responding to your hello earlier - I was checking further back in the log and missed it initially.
15 words left to go! 7x4 8x5
NP, haz...
i only have 2 e 4's...the lab heater and the one that is a suffix
Go Evanadine Go!!
There's that dumb school el4 word, don't forget...
There's a peculiar el4/5 that looks like an Indian city minus the first letter.
I have e5/10, the plural of the volcano... clues for the other e5?
en5/10 - add *** Maria
qu5 - surname mary the fashion guru.... no idia... lol
thanks haz, smith - smith what does it mean?
Haz - I've just realised I haven't put the recipe for cappuccino cheesecake in BabAnon. It's my favourite and very quick and easy to do. I'll type it out in a min and put it in there.
TY Haz :)
WAIT! got it :)
Praise all the powers that be that there were no re's today!!!!!!
'Of or relating to grades 1 - 12'
AMEN, SISTER!!!

smith - I have ag5 x2 and ar5 (but I'm missing one a)
any help on the qu6/33??
oh smith that was the one! woot!
Thanks, bugzy. It was the obvious ag5 that I was missing. I hate it when I miss the obvious ones.
qu6/33 rhymes with tango
oooh ignore that
TSM - you said a word!!!!!!!!!!!!
YW smith... I guess that means my last A is a 4....
UUUUUMMMMMMM Toe Sock......naughty naughty girl
There's aa4/5 ag4/5 an4/4 an4/4 an 4/4 as4/4
Thanks Monkey, never would have found that. Bugzy, do you have the ar6? It's like a military s***** without the s.

Got it! 4 to go and no list yet....
Bugzy, drop the vowel from your second ag5
gn4/6 evanadine. Think what surfers say without the -ly on the end.
gn4/6 is missing from your list
All you wonderful people who can do this w/o the list! I'm just happy when I don't use a2z. :)
evana, it's a gn4/6
How could a t4 be that elusive?
well, thats a new GN word for me!
LOL Jen. A2Z is my friend too, most days :)
ok, now missing one A (also 4 or 5) i have: aa4 5 ag5 14 ag4 6 ag5 14 an4 4 an4 4 an4 4 ar6 24 as4 4
smith, do you have the small mountain lake? It's like the stuff that gets on old silver without the -ish.
ar5/14
ar5/14 evana
Still need help with the "A" on the top row, second from the right.... any help?
Yep, I've got that one.
TSM -- goes with "oohs" (double-vowel, not double-consonant)
It's the aa4/5 TSM
Do you have the orange drink of astronauts?
Finished!!! It was one of those where you think you typed it in and didn't. Hate those...
and finally, last but not least, i need help with my last 3 Ses (2x4 and 1x5) i have: sa4 6 sa4 4 sa4 6 sh4 5 sh5 18 sh4 5 sn4 6 sn5 12

YW, and congrats!
I need help with 2 t5's.... I have ta5/14 te5/12 x2 tr5/10 tr5/12 Please and thank you!!
You're missing an sa 4/6 - change the vowel at the end of your other one.
and an sh4/6
sa 5/14 rhymes with ta 5/14
Bugzy another ta5/14 and a ta5/10
"You have 0word(s) left to find" woohoo!! :D
TY smithchick... Would figure the last one was a plural... That's me done!! *pours a big bloody mary with extra tabasco*
WTG evana! I know I will need the fish, but can someone help me with the ga5?
ga 5 - a man's name
Jen - country singer Mr. Brooks
Yay, evana and bugzy!!! Way to go!!
TY Haz and Bugzy! Wouldn't have figured that one for legal!
Apparently it means a grassy quadrangle. Drop it into conversation the next time you're going to mow the grass.
Good morning.
Morning harp!
Hello harpjane :)
That grassy 'ga' is an Anglicisation of the Welsh word for garden (which ends in 'dd').
Haz - I've put the cappuccino cheesecake recipe in BabAnon if you want to take a look at it.
And done! :)
It just makes me want to sing ... "I've got friends in low places..." :)
Yay for Jen !
Okay, here's my fish...
Congrats, jen!!! Hello, harpjane:)
Thanks, Jacula - I'll do that. I'm having some American friends for dinner and was thinking along the lines of 'Irish' themed dishes, so thought the Bailey's cheesecake sounded good. But I'll print out the other one as well.
any clues for the as4?
ta5/14 and 6/24 below it, please?
Lovely smithchick :)
as4 - not on land, but ... (fits with the fish theme today)
carrie, when you are on a cruise, you are as..
Thanks Jen--got it half a second before your clue--I'm dumb, how did I not see that??
ta6- you ta**** shoot and then drop the last letter for the ta5/14
TO - the ta5 is like the sa5/14, short for an army leader ta6 adds a letter, is a chain store
thanks, smith! i am done!!!
ta5 rhymes with the sa5 that is a military NCO
& bugzy, too!
WTG TO!
Yay TO!
Mornin' all! It's snowing here!!
WooHoo!!!Way to go Temple!
jera! don't send it here!
Morning, jera. We've got drizzle going on here.
{{{Jera}}} It's going to be 80 here. :)
Hi Jera :) Sunny and chilly here
JERA I've just had about 10 exciting flakes in my courtyard
*sticks tongue out at Jen* *tongue freezes in that position*
It won't stick very much, plus it's supposed to be 40-something today & 50-something tomorrow, so I'm not getting too excited. The kids might at most come home early & get a delay in the morning. But I love snow!!!
Well, I'll be back in a minute. I've got to do the USA Today crossword puzzle...
I can't believe I'm the only one with a Babel (Babble!!) Fish...
See ya smithchick!
bye smithchick!
*is amaxed at smithchick's ability to do the UAA Today Crossword "in a minute"*
I mean amazed, warai!!
Jera I combined fish and movies for Moviemans birthday, thus Big Fish
Ummm... me, too, tbear!! That's what I intended all along!!
Jera, are you fully recovered now?
Oh, I see evandine had a Babble Fish drawing... yay! Did she finish already??
Yes, Jen, except I fell to my knees Monday, so I'm hurting very badly knees up to hips. I hate those types of injuries...
You'll pardon me, I need to vent, shaping up to be an awful morning!
Jen, did you get to meet LEMONed yesterday? We learned a new word... warai!! (Or at least i did)
Yikes! I wish you a speedy recovery on that! I ended up going to an urgent care clinic... mine cough turned out to be bronchitis.
Vent away, BV... we're cheap therapy!!
No, I wasn't on yesterday... playing golf w/ my Dad. What does it mean?
Take care of that, Jen, it's been known to turn into pneumonia if you aren't careful! The weather you are having is good for recovery... much better than here!
I just learned that my mother is losing her job teaching after 12 years because she won't move to resource and take a pay cut. My kids go to scholl there, and now that her contract is terminated, the ditrict wants $600 PER CHILD so that they can finish their school year! transfer fees...
Hi everyone! I have a hammerhead shark pic - they are soooooo cool
Warai = Japanese for LOL (more or less)... funny guy, very nice!
The doc gave me a Z-Pac of antibiotics, so I "should" be recovered in 2 more days. LOL Bunny, I am sooo sorry to hear that! After 12 years, doesn't she have tenure?
We are buying a house in a crappy school district just because my kids get to go to her school for free, so NOW!!! I'm so MAD!!!
That's horrible, BV!! Yikes!
Arigato gozaimas, Jera-san! ^^
Zithromax = very good meds... saved my life a time or two...
Hi Atalante :) cool shark!
Apparently, it has expired, she won't be going back after spring break because of the way she was treated when they told her take it or get out!
{{{LEMONed}}} I was just speaking well of you!!
LEMONed, I'm Jen, nice to meet you! :)
Jen, LEMONed... LEMONed, Jen (I've actually met her in real life!)
Wow, bunny, that stinks! Can't her union do anything?
Is she part of the union? I bet she's got a good case!
ohiyo Jen, it is nice to meet you too! Jera-san, I am very touched! Thank you so much :)
I've never heard of tenure expiring... does she have a lawyer??
I don't know all the details, welcome to small town life, someones cousin probably needed a job. And thank you for letting me vent, I really need to make some friends to cry on. talk about up a creek...
So are you brave enough to do battle with this puzzle, Lem? The short ones can be difficult...
bunny (((hugs))) from across the pond!!!!!
I'm back. What'd I miss?
I need to get ready so I can take my son to the library, so I am off for now. LEMONed, nice meeting you! Jera, I hope your knees get better real quick, and bunny, hang in there!! And to all the rest, tata! :)
Small-town school politics = ptooi!!! My best friend who is disabled got treated very badly last year because of small-town school politics...
I think, might be mistaken, that they sign on three years at a time, this being her fourth "term", once again, I'm not sure. But she goes out on a limb for this district, it's very small. Always there when they need her to be and none of the others will volunteer, almost cost her a divorce at one point, you just can't trust anyone anymore.
Jera, I am...I think you say 'feeling strong', today! Lots of the help you all gave me yesterday influence my English today...thank you all :)
Done already, smithchick?? You are goooood!
nice to meet you too, Jen!
Good morning all :)
We are happy to help here, it keeps us out of trouble (most of the time)!
{{{Faeriekae}}} *fairy hugs*
OK, I vented...TY again. Gonna take the girls to the park and run off some energy, back later to finish grid.
Bye Jen and hi Faerie :)
Bye, Jen!!
I find it hard to belief it keeps you out of trouble! Who was it yesterday who was naked? or nekkid, I thinks she said!
Hang in there, BV... keep us posted... let me know if I need to hex anybody!!
ohiyo Faeriekae :)
Weeeeell... getting nekkid on Babble is better than getting nekkid in real life, I suppose... cyber parties have less consequences...
Jera (((x))) hows the grid to? Do I need to get out my faerie dust* :D
TTFN, everyone. I'd better go an do 'things domestic'.
warai you have that right! I will never forgot the time a person streak at a house party :/
Not too bad, faerie... there are a few toughies, but not bad for a small puzzle... maybe a pinch or two of dust. (I finished in an hour)
Jacula - Didn't see you there - so Hi and Bye I guess :) Lemon - Hey cutie how are you doing today?
Bye Jac :) I must go too, and get some work done. See ya !
Jera - you are done? Well congrats girl! *~*~*~*~ So give me an "aa" please?
warai that's not a name I am use to! I am wonderful today thank you :) How are you?
Almost done with the puzzle for the first time ever. I'm missing: the second ta4/14 ta6/24 te4/5 te5/12 any hints??
You will breathe a sig of relief (more than one) when you find the aa...
ta6/24... try to hit the bull's--eye
there are aa words in English? I sincere hope these are not words I will need to know ^^;
Hi Jera, just got that one, searching in vain for others.
*~sprinkle*~sprinkle*~sprinkle * --- faerie dust all over the grid and in Jera's hair (it looks sooooo pretty) and all over my keyboard....It's everywhere now* :)
ta4/4 rhymes with what you might say if you miss ta6... mild swear starts with d
Aa, there is nothing that cannot be improve with a little faerie dust...
It's more of a word that describes a sound... many of the Babble words are NOT english...
Jera, I need the other ta4
One of my favorite english words starts with AA... aardvark!!!
You must need the first ta4, then... go lie out in the sun for a bit...
warai Jera...I am try to yamete (I do not know the English for yamete! sorry) putting in Japanese words. No matter how many times I try, it remain stubborn :D
mine too - aardwolf!
oh my god, I'm so dumb. I need the ta5/14 not the dance one.
I got the "aa" TY *
We watch those cutesy kid shows that are supposed to be interactive... I always answer aardvark (it's fun to say), LOL! I mean, warai!!
Lose a letter from end of bull's-eye
warai...I think I had better go look up what an aardvark be! :)
the ta 6/24 was the first word I saw when I sat down. Probably because I'm one a shooting team. Which I go shoot tonight. Can't wait....
It's kind of like an anteater... funny-looking animal
Jera it's thanks to you I solved my first Babble grid. Anyone need anything before I go?
I love me some biathalon!!! I don't shoot guns much, I prefer archery (which biathalon used to be)
CAPONE! Are you there?
I live to serve, carrie, congratulations!!
Carrie - *~*~*~*~*fireworks for you*~*~*~*~*~* Congratulation s!
*happy dance of done-ness in carrie's honor*
I kept trying to spell organ with today's grid... it was never, ever there...
You guys have brought much joy to an expat sitting alone in a tiny office in rainy old England. Thanks!!!
are there any really really weirdo words that we've never seen before in the 4s and 5s? I have 12 to go and dont want to look at BJs list, but I'm wondering how much monkey typing this will involve!
I can't pull a bow back because of my shoulder or I would love to try it. I shoot skeet mostly and just love it.....Gets rid of a lot of fustration.
Aa thank you...I think we call your aardvark arikei :)
Hey, back again. Dang telephone!
Capone, I know you are playing... your emailing me! lol where are you? :)
"sneaking up on Smith" .... "pounce" ((((X)))) Hi.
Yes ToeSUCKmonkey. And you owe me a lunch break!
afternoon babblers! glad to see you made it back lemoned!
konnichiwa Smithchick :) How are you today? (and what is a dang? ^^;)
Eeekk! You got me faery! {{{xxx}}}
warai, thank you Evanadine! :) I would be mad to stay away now ^^
lemoned -- "dang" is a slang descriptive word...means "darn" "stupid" "damn" :)
Skeet is wonderful, I'm not as good as I used to be because of my eyesight. Bow & arrow is more primal to me, which I like.
Everything is great with me today, LEMONed. How about you? Dang is just slang for people like me who don't really swear. Instead of damn...
dang, darn, dagnabit = mild curses
Aa, well that would makes more sense! thank you ^^
Smith - warai - how are you doing? Is hubby still home?
Faerie, I'm sorry I misspelled you!
*sheepish* <-- new word of the day :) thank you!
Hubby is home and still planting trees. Apparently, it takes some time for one guy to plant 500 pine trees in the rain!
There are a few weird ones, but most of them are recurring Babble words, so I knew them... your mileage may vary...
I love warai, LEMONed!! Thanks for introducing us to it!
Why is he planting trees now, smithchick... is it an occasion or deadline of some sort? My Girls Scouts are planting trees for Arbor Day but that's 2 months away...
warai Smithchick, you are very welcome! I alway forgetting 'lol'
We bought some land that we are going to build our "dream" house on and hubby is from southern Arkansas where pine trees abound. He just bought a bunch of them from the forestry dept. so he can have his beloved pines... There is a limited window -weather wise- for him to get them planted. It has to be cold enough but not too cold or something.
Jera - I have glaucoma soooooo I have no perifial vision which is hendersom "bad spelling" but I do pretty good for a girl.....I shot on a mixed league. Very challenging.
Oh yes planting trees in the rain. What fun :(
Must get to the grid. I'll be lurking about.
So far I have been spared planting duties. It could be because every time he suggests that I may want to help him, he gets THE look...
NOT the LOOK!!!!!! "Dramatic music in back ground"
Sounds wonderful, smithchick... I grew up in the woods so I love lots of trees!! oaks are my favorite, though, especially red oaks... we are planting lots of them in our back yard so I can have my own private grove...
all done!
warai Smithchick! :)
CAPONE!! Hurray!
Huzzah for Angelsong!!!
I owe you a lunch break!? OMG! Go eat!
Angel (((((x))))) *sprinkle*sprinkle*sprinkle faerie dust for you sweetie.
Way to go, angelsong!!! Jera, my hubby likes those tall, skinny pines but I prefer a good oak, myself.
I'm off to start making some Babble resource pages for some Babblers.
I see that you are familiar with THE look, LEMONed! Japanese moms give it too, huh?
Angel - Congrats - I didn't realize you had finished. I could use a clue on the "ag" an "ag" will do.
Ok I got the ag 5/14
ag5/14- someone who represents someone else ag4/6- a + not there (minus the last vowel) ag5/14- tack on the last vowel you just dropped.
Congratulate, Angelsong! I love the sakura - cherry blossom, I think you say - trees. They were everywhere in Kyto, and in Shigatsu all the blossom would fall...it was beautiful
one ag is a ten percent-er one is a shortened form of a word for extreme pain one is the same as above with an added vowEl
Smithchick, I can only spoke for myself! ...but my mom could win medal for her 'LOOK'
Ooohh, I bet they are beautiful, LEMONed. Trees that blossom are so gorgeous!
done! that last one took ages, but at least I can say I did it without clues from the log or a2z!
WooHoo Atalante!!! Congrats!
Smith - Thanks got them all......* _ *
NO! <---- addict, tyvm TSM
I grew up among the pines (long-leaf) of North Carolina, so they are a bit boring to me. Red Oaks are a bit more exotic, although we did have them. Cool shape of the leaves
Well-done, Atalante!!
Capone did I get you addict to babble already?
I love them, Smithchick! It seems to be a law in Kyoto that everywhere must have it own supply of the sakura trees. When I use to walk home from school through them, the blossom would cover the girl in my class and they looked beautiful, like brides :)
I want a dogwood in my back yard...
EVERYONE! I just got my bestest buddy capone addict to babble! HURRAY!
Yeah Alalante:)
Lemon, we have many beautiful cherry trees in Washington DC... they are sight to see when in bloom!
LEMONed, I'm not too shabby with THE look, either! My 11 yr. old daughter has already started practising it and she has it down pretty well. Pity her children when she has them.
How sweet, LEMONed. You have the soul of a poet!
Congratulate, ToeSockMonkey! :) Jera, they are just a breathtake sight ^^ Smithchick, I think it is a gift all women are birth with!
TSM, I'm trying to get my younger sister addicted, but she isn't cooperating. I did get my older sister hooked, but she has computer problems so she can't play as often as she'd like. (She's elmer)
warai Smithchick! My English sensei would not agree! thank you :)
TSM you will pay for this.....big time!
smith - woot! thats awesome :) Family event hehehe
I tried to get my sister addicted over Christmas, but she doesn't really have time for it... silly woman, priorities!!
There are a few men born with THE look, too! My father's got a mean one.
Ooooh beware Capooooone! *shivers* he looks just like Al Capone too ;)
That's what I'm talking about, Jera (as she sits in the filthy hovel that is her house, typing away).
Smithchick, is it something I can learned? :D
I'm putting off typing up a program for a church thing tonight because I'm inept and it will take me forever to figure it out. RAWR
Any help on ANY of the "E" words please? =o)
You seem to be a pretty quick study, LEMONed. I'm sure you could learn. Just thing of things most unpleasant and glare at them as those you would like to skewer them. (stab with something pointed and sharp).
warai! I'll think of my English homework! It general makes me want to 'skewer' thing...
el4 = el + short friendly greeting
(generally) (things)
Well, there's the el4/5- having to do with school there is the volcanic one and it's plural et4/4 and et5/10 there is the et4/5 that is a prefix with a plural letter on the end there is the en5/10 -someone gave a clue about trees in LOTR with two vowels on the end.
smithchick...I was very stern with myself this morning... had to clean the kitchen before coming here to chat...
Warai!!! Too funny, LEMONed. Now skewer that English assignment with a look meant to shrivel it up!
refresh for fish
Thank you bunches :)
warai! here is my DAISUKINA sensei :) arigato gozaimas!
*imagines Lemon practicing withering look at computer* warai!!
Hey hurshy! How are ya? Jera, I've managed to do about 30 minutes worth of housework this morning. LEMONed, has your whole family moved to London or are you doing an exchange thing?
*glares* ... *wails* it is not working!
Warai, LEMONed. Maybe it only works on people (and dogs).
Smithchick, near my whole family :) Sadly sofu and sobo (no idea of the english!) still live in Japan :(
(nearly)
I am hoping my face will not get stuck like this...
hi everyone. am having horrible day.
^^ thank you, Hurshy-sensei!
sofu and sobo- are those your parent's parents or sisters or brothers?
That's only if you roll your eyes, LEMONed. What's the trouble hurshy?
Aa, thank you! I could not remember the translation...they are my parent's parents :)
Hurshy - Hi (((X))) sorry your having such a bad day. What's up?
what is wrong, Hurshy-sensei?
Grandparents is the formal term. Here they have all kinds of nicknames...Nana, Poppa, Papa, Granny, Gran, Granddad, Grandma, etc.
the "mothering" is not going so well. my "son" may want to move out. it's a very long story. also having slight but annoying medical problem.
I am stuck
Smithchick, Aa...complicated! x_x
Hurshy - I'm so sorry. I know you have had some problems with him but don't beat yourself up. And what's up with YOU???
Gomen nasai, Hurshy-sensei :(
"nogo" should be a word!
Well, I'm sorry about that hurshy. Is this a teen angst thing that will shortly pass? Remember my sister that is raising my 18 yr. old nephew? They had a huge blowout last night because he has three f's in school, is sleeping in class and then gets belligerent when the teacher has the audicity to wake him.
boys - don't read this, you won't like to hear it. what's wrong with me is yeast.
our blowout was over dip.
Eeww, itchy!!
It's usually something little that sets things off when there is tension. He must be frustrated about something and is taking it out on you.
well, not just the dip - it turned into a whole thing about freedom and stuff.
Hurshy - Call the doctor and have them call you a Rx. I keep it on hand at all times. Every time I take antibotics I get a yeast infection.
i've already had 2 doses of diflucan and still not got rid of it - i've called the doctor again and i'm waiting for them to call back.
eheh...it looks like it is not a good place to be a teenaged (is that the expression?) boy ^^;
It's hard when they are legally of age, but maturity and emotional age don't match up. Also, when they are still in school and not the most responsible of creatures.
One of my sisters has had a recurrent one for months. Can't get rid of it. Hers is the painful kind.
Hurshy
"holding hands over Lemon's ears" - go ahead and talk ladies. I've got this one covered :)
Just think of the education that you are getting, LEMONed!
yes, exactly smithchick (about the legally of age but immature bit)
Warai, faerie!
hello nitenurse
well lemon, at least you seem more responsible than my lad
Have his daddy kick his ass....
warai Faeriekae, Smithchick! I will look away :)
It must be especially frustrating because there is no biological "ownership" so he can threaten to leave anytime things aren't going his way.
Lemon - I supose you have to learn these things eventually. LOL
Hurshy-sensei, I am sure my own parents would not agree! :)
Hurshy Oops for last one. Eat yogurt. Make sure it says it has live yogurt culture in it. It helps. The cause is the antibiotics. Have to have one and then the other gets worse. What a miserable cycle. Also, I've gone thru the teen-cycle. I'ts hard. I'll pray for you. NN
They can still be so needy without even realizing it at that age...
the trouble is, nothing works with him. the tough approach has been tried, the soft approach has been tried. he responds to nothing. he is relationally bankrupt and wants to just be alone in the world except for casual surface friendships in which he can just have fun.
smith - you understand so well!
That could be tough, Hurshy-sensei :( however, the English homework is calling...I must go practiser my glaring! bai bai
Hurshy - any signs of drug usage?
and cranberry juice - drink gallons of it. It does help!
Hurshey, I used to have trouble like that... I have a yogurt cup every day & no trouble for nearly 20 years!
nitenurse - i hate yogurt. but my friend said it doesn't have enough in it to really make a difference anyway. the only thing i like is these new weight watchers yogurt smoothies - they don't taste very yogurty but they do have some active cultures in them.
Lemon-see ya later-hurry back*_*
It takes a really long time to build trust. It sounds like he is testing you to see if you really care about him or not. My advice would be to continue with the boundaries but let him know you aren't giving up on him. They will break your heart whether you gave birth to them or not.
How many words did you find, Lemon... or are you just using us for chat practice??
cranberry juice, eh? i've been using ice cubes to numb it, warai!
Warai, LEMONed! Give it a glare for me! See you tomorrow?
how about acidopholus?
he uses tobacco and pot. has tried other things but doesn't use them regularly.
TSM getcha E yet?
Then maybe just the idea will help. Sorry you don't like it. YOu can buy yogurt tablets. Also is your nephew on drugs. Has he seen a Dr. Maybe he is bi-polar? NN
Hurshy-well tobacco and pot doesn't make you act out like that but I do know that the speeders and other drugs will. Had lots of experience as a youngster.
i've heard about the yogurt tablets...
no, faerie, it's not that, it's just his ridiculous personality.
It seems like he is very discouraged in general and doesn't know how to be happy. Find lots of little things to praise him about every day so he can get used to encouragement instead of hopelessness.
it may just be too late, i don't know. he may be determined to move out and back into the dorm at this point.
Hurshy - I will remember your family in my prayers...
I think it is a generational thing, too. A lot of kids today have a sense of entitlement. And the whole gloom and doom thing.
oh, he thinks he knows how to be happy - do whatever he wants and have no consequences.
capone, I don't have the last e. I'm about to resort to the list. TSM? still here?
Nobody has ever had a life as hard as theirs... Yada, yada, yada. My kids act like that and I just want to say, "Oh please! Give me a break! I had to walk twenty miles up hill, one way, in the snow, etc"...
I'll try not to be too graphic, you and your husband may be giving to each other.
has he ever had to actually take the consequences of his doing-as-he-wants actions?
Not all the e's
Well, unfortunately for some, letting them suffer the consequences is the only way they learn. I have a sister who suffers them over and over again, and still doesn't learn. I hate that you have to suffer in the process of his growing up...
nitenurse - haven't done it since before the infection - i do know about that
atalante - yes, he has. he flunked everything last year in public school, that's why he was sent here and is having to repeat his junior year.
TSM and capone, I'm evidently missing the en 5 10. any clues?
*hugs Hurshy*
en5 ends with one of the twins from "sister, sister"
Hey, Deutsch!
thanks everyone for your support. i think my two probs are related - the yeast seemed to be going away yesterday, and this morning was so stressful, and i've heard stress can make it work.
Hi All!!!! "quoo" should be a word. as in may i have a quoo for the te6 and 7 at the beginning?
Hi Smith! I'm just stealth babbling!
if there's only one te 6 and 7 pair, i have that - person who lives in a rented space
{{{Deutsch}}} You came in while I was off shopping... how are you today?
thanks, Hurshy, but I'll have to google that. I don't watch much popular TV.
Stress will definitely cause them. The only yeast infections that I've ever had were at stressful times. Marriage, death of son, graduation from college while moving and being 9 months pregnant, etc.
Hi, everyone!!!!! It's movieman, the birthday boy here.....
Hi, smaller! Hurshy needs hugs!! {{{{xxxx}}}}

LOL! great clue!! : )
He is a Her!!

woot evan!
Are we talking about the same person? Last night LEMONed was a 15year old Japanese girl!!!!!!
shall we play with 6s? I have: ga6, gr6, q6 x 2, ra6, te6. what's missing? stop when you're bored ; )
Caitlyn, I was introduced to him and I understand he is a 15 yr old boy. : )
i asked him last night how old he was + whether he was male or female. he said 15 years old + male. :) cause we were joking about setting him up with miyavi!
I thought lemonEd was an 18 yo male?
AR 6/24

that's all my 6s! now.... 5s.... : )
might I have a clue for the first q 6/33
Thanks, only sa5/14 missing now, any clues?
doll -- rhymes with a tropical fruit
short for SGT.
Boys..You are in the army now!
Thank you Caitlyn!
And Evanadine
YW
Hi, kids. Already finished. Just popping in to say Happy Wednesday.
Hi Judi!!!
Hi Judi me too!!
same here judi -- short puzzle + no work = bored sami!!
Yeah, this one was too short. Or too easy. I'm not sure which.
hi Judi : )
Must say, the Qu6/33 is my favorite word of the day. I can't help but put it with "wango-zee-tango" ala Van Halen.
i think a bit of both... id prefer a longer, easy one, myself..hehe
If anyone is still interested, LEMONed is a 15 yr old boy from Japan, living north of London, his name is Takumi, and from Kyoto. I had nothing better to do so I went back and had a look!
All right, now that's done.
hehe...i think exwren may have me topped for boredom!! ;D
Hmm. We could fix him up with Miyavifan, if she didn't already have a boyfriend.
judi -- thats what we were joking about yesterday...they seem to have an awful lot in common!!
Just think... a Babble love connection!
I agree Evan Thinking more about LEMONed perhaps i made a mistake I cant remember if LEMON said male or female .Think I need a break after babysitting.LOL
Perhaps i need fish to wake me up!!!SORRY!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta skoot. Have to shopping for a work party that I probably won't even be able to attend.
lemon is definitely a boy
He said Takumi is a boys name
SORRY SORRY SORRY (bursts into tears)
there are many other evidences i could cite - but it's easier if you just take our word for it
well there's no need to cry about it caitlyn :)
heh, its ok caitlyn -- good thing its fish day! take your pick! hehe
*passes Caitlyn some Prozac*. It's okay, honey.
(sobbing) Im will say sorry to LEMONed also
*passes kleenex to caitlyn* there there, hun :)
lemon is very easy-going, i don't think he'll be too upset :)
Thanks all (hic) Hey Judi this Prozac is good thanks
Pull yourself together caitlin, youre not a wimp
...actually, he finds it very funny! :)
i want some prozac lol
haha! look who has been lurking!
Sorry Exwren I will pull myself together ...I promiseLOL
hey lemon, you sneaky lad
gomen nasai...I could not resist ^^
Have you been there all the time, lemon
what's gomen nasai
Aa, I only just arrive...it looks like I came at a good time, though!
Hey LEMONed.. Im sorry I thought you were a girl!!!! Do you forgive me?
*arrived...I think :/ gomen nasai - I think you would say, "I'm very sorry" :)
warai Caitlyn, do not worry about it :D
arrived, yes, good catch again
gomen nasai !!!
i'm doing pretty well so far with no list and just a few clues, but i still have 16 to find...they may be tricky...
hi Lemon! : )
thank you Hurshy-sensei...it is only with your teaching! warai Caitlyn!
Hi Babbler! How are you? :)
great thanks, Lemon : ) how are you today?
hey, how do you say 'how are you' in Japanese, Lemon? : )
Aa...I have just finished some English home work, I have brain ache! But aside from that, I am wonderful, thank you ^^
homework is all one word
Must leave you all now .Catch you tomorrow Happy babbling all X
Babbler, that would be 'Ogenki desu ka?' :)
see you tomorrow, caitlyn : )
bai bai, Caitlyn-san! :)
thank you, Lemon. and how would one reply? : )
Hey all.. popped in to procrastinate... Lemon is here so I'll stay, warai!
thank you Hurshy-sensei! Aa...where would I be without you? :)
Babbler, tell me about your icon?
Babbler-san, formally you would say 'Hai, genki desu, okagesama de'...which, I think, literally means "I am healthly, thanks to you"! Informally you could just say 'mama desu'...like, 'I'm okay' :D
^^ arigato, Jera! Everyone is so friendly :)
good afternoon -- I am plugging away at this simpler grid, but am stuck on the ga6? help, ty
ga 6/24 is a sea bird
it's a national news service
arigato, Lemon : ) (that's 'thank you', right?) : ) Jera - it's pisces. two fish, and the constellation : )
Two 5's needed ta 5/14 2nd one, en 5/10 - clues, please
Right, Babbler! You are learn far quicker than I am learn English!
eheh...*learning :/ see what I mean? :)
(learning) ; )
bravo, Lemon! :D
ta 5/14 - rhymes with Mrs Simpson's first name en5/10 - add *** Maria
Warai, Babbler-san...now I have two babble-sensei!
That's what i thought, Babbler, but I figured I'd better ask... it's fun to ask about icons, but I try to avoid saying, "What is your icon?"
Lemon, hurshy and I are Babble-family! : D
Thanks Haz15 - and to Maria and Mrs Simpson
tell me about your icon, Jera :)
You're welcome, Jeffer - highbrow clues, weren't they?
warai...I am begining to see that ^^
It's a Babel Fish from Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy!
*smacks forehead* of COURSE it is, Jera! I should have recognised that! lol!! : D Lemon, does sensei mean teacher? : )
I had to cut his tail off a bit to make him fit without becoming too warped...
Haz1558 - at about my level!
yes, haven't you seen the karate kid, babbler?
Haz1558 -- ty -- finally got it!!
As long as you got the clue, sure what does it matter?!
You can't always trust what you see/hear in movies... lots of license taken on the big screen!
'fraid not, hurshy. : /
*recalls schoolgirl crush on Ralph Macchio*
pbr - good to know you're so well up in your sea birds!
hai, Babbler-san! Teacher or Master/Mistress :)
i thought everyone had seen that movie. i don't love it or anything, but, it was pretty rampant.
ugh, i hate E's
pbr... tell me about your icon? (Haz got me curious)
At least there aren't many of them today, hurshy!
yes but what ARE they? i have the one from the right side, and a 4/5 and a 5/10 from the left. can't find the other two. trying to avoid the list - 13 words left.
Hi all logging in qucikly whilst the litlies are being entertained by the girl next door! Then have to write up minutes & set agenda for a meeting tomorrow. For anyone who saw last night, my mother in law responded well to her 8 hr surgery & is sitting in a chair and eating soft foods - not bad at 83 & after heart surgery!
Good to hear Snowy : )
oh, that's good snowy!
Hi, Snowyowl! That is wonderful news about your mother ^^
Great news, snowy! Hi again, everyone
Hi LEMONed : ) Back for more I see : D Hurshy, have you got the volcano(s) ?? e4/4, e5/10
I'm really thankful for you guys distracting me from the horrible fact that I'm missing out on dinner at Outback this evening...
omigosh anj, i feel so stupid now. those are in practically every puzzle - and yet i had not got them. thank you.
{{{SNOWY}}} Yay for your mom! What a blessing!
oh, why jera?
hey all, could use a little help on the qu 6/33
She's remarkable! If she keeps stable we may just get our much longed for short break in Bath this weekend with CATHB & hubby! Please keep all available digits crossed!
Hi Anj! Yes, I could not keep away :)
skuraki -- rhymes with a tropical fruit
skuraki - it rhymes with a ta5 dance
*gets anj with a wednesday whallop!*
ok, so now someone tell me, i have te7, what are the other 2 7's?
Snowyowl, I am not sure what you mean by that but I will try anyway ^^ Jera, why are you missing out? :(
yeah. . .thx bunches. . .my first finished puzzle ever. . .yippeeeeeee!!!!
lemon - digits are fingers and toes (the word digit has other meanings, too)
HI again Eva : ) *Counters with Wednesday Whale*
congrats skuraki!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lemoned -- she means cross your fingers -- people do that for good luck. :)
The Sprite is home sick this afternoon... she missed yesterday, went in this morning, then called me to come get her... some new variant on the flu, I believe. She's asleep now.
oh, poor kid.
time to go. . .bus duty calls
Hursh, ta7 - straight liness off of circles and ra7, noisy end of a snake, not the hissing bit : )
It's a company dinner... i told my husband to order the biggest thing they had & bring me home a doggie bag, warai!
Aa...thank you Hurshy-sensei and Evanadine! :)
oh, no, and me a math teacher! i am the stupidest person ever.
Jera - hope she is feeling better soon. We have had a flu virus around here since Christmas & it was a horrible thing. Both Hubby & myself succumbed. Of course he was a lot more ill than I was! LOL
8 to go... must i succumb and use the list?
I hope so too, snowy... she has Girl Scout cookies to deliver!! Plus Mardi Gras party tomorrow night!
No, hurshy, no... use us instead!!
well, they are mostly fours anyway, so i should be able to monkey a bunch, you would think...
warai Jera! :D Am I right in thinking that a doggie bag is like leftovers?
Exactly, Lemon... you are getting the slang... that's hard!
Why don't we get ill in the boring parts of our lives instead of when there are nice things to go to? Not that i get much time to be bored! LOL I want free time for my birthday this year - no gifts -just free time!
ooh, got a 5, only one of those left and then 6 fours.
It is all I hear at school!
I told her she was going tomorrow night unless she was projectile vomitting or had a temperature of 103 (in which case she'd be in the hospital)... since I'm the Leader! I'm not cancelling a meeting because she's sick (gods, I'm mean)!
Lemon, could you help me on pronouncing warai? I'd like to use it in conversation, but don't want to mess it up... is the ai like an A or like an I??
LOL Jera I know the feeling- I'm often saying 'don't you dare be ill 'cos theres 20 girls depending on me'!
2 left - one R and one S, one is a 4 and one is a 5, don't know which is which. who wants to take a stab at what i might have overlooked?
oh, nvm, got the sn5. so it's down to one r4.
It's like the 'ai' in the way you pronounce the word 'aisle'...so more of an 'i' sound :) now...how do you pronounce the 'th' sound? :D
very nice fish, Anj! : ) hi to all who just joined : )
i have two 4/6, two 4/4 and one 4/5, all of which are real words to me
Hursh, possibly an ra4/5...sounds like a word for anger without the usual W at the start : )
Hi Babs : )
Speaking of fish, I'm thinking of getting some for my son's first pet... any recommendations? I'm thinking some fat goldfish, maybe lionheads... they are pretty cool.
lemon - "th" depends. in "the" you want to vocalize while saying it, in "teeth" you don't - you're just blowing air out of your mouth while having your tongue between your teeth.
Lemon, you pronounce the 'th' sound in two ways. One is like a lisp (someone who can't say S sounds). The other is harder and you use your voice behind it. Like V. (hope this makes sense!) : )
YES, that was it anj! thank you! i have finished without the list!
thank you! they were good describes :) I cannot seem to help saying 'th' as 'S'! thank you comes out as 'sank yu' with my accent :/
Thanks, Lemon, I will try that & see how many weird looks I get... th is like sticking your tongue out slightly but your top front teeth keep it from going too far. Don't let your cheeks puff out though or you'll look silly, warai!
Congratulations, Hurshy-sensei!
well done, hurshy! : )
hi kids - just taking a 'little' mind break from create process flows.... snowy - so happy to hear your mother-in-law is doing well... Jera - poor Sprite!! (gentle hug) for the wee one!! Hi to all!!
(descriptions) : )
wOOt Hursh : )
ooops...creating process flows....ergh!!
when you say "s", lemon, your teeth should be touching each other. when you say "th" (either one) you should have your tongue between them. you should practice by over-exaggerating until you get the hang of it.
Hi EB : ) Right, time to go again. More footie beckons : ) Later folks : )
Lemon, I think the S and the 'th' sounds are very closely linked. Push your tongue just a little further forward towards your teeth and try that! : )
what channel Anj? Sky?
babbler - this is great - with two of us catching his mistakes, it's a lot less work :)
congrats on finishing (to all who have...) I haven't started yet...(will do after work today since it's a 'shortie'!!)
hi auntie! thanks all for the congrats. :)
((( EB ))) hiya : )
warai, Jera! I will be paranoia (not sure of the english word :/)
Thanks, EB... and next we shall have the fun of Spring allergies! She has already started taking Claritin in preparation... it's one of our Imbolc rituals... start taking Claritin, warai!
(paranoid) : )
Aa...I was close :) Thank you, Babbler!
my pleasure, Treasure : )
warai Babbler-san! :D
Babs, yes Sky Sports 1...sorry : /
paranoia is the THING you feel, paranoid is the WAY you feel.
Not sure what you meant, Lemon, but I don't think it's paranoid... that means thinking everyone is out to hurt you (especially when they aren't). Do you mean practice, maybe? That's the exercise my son does, he is mildly autistic.
hi everyone - snowy have the littlies stuck themselves to the wall yet
jera - i think he might have really meant it - like he would be paranoid about looking silly
warai...I am confuse myself x_x I will use the smaller words from now on, I think...
Aa! Thank you, Hurshy-sensei...so that is how you would say it! :)
no wait, lemon, i think you might have been ok. did you read my last post? is that what you meant? that you would be worried about looking silly while practicing? because if so then paranoid is a fine word.
oh, and, (confusing)
*groans* I should really begin to check before I post :/ Thank you and sorry! And, that was what I meant, worried about looking silly...I just did not know how to explain!
Oh I see... this from the guy who practices withering looks? Warai!
Seriously, Lemon... feel free to practice big words on us... we are a very friendly audience!
*strikes pose* I am a man of mystery, Jera! warai ^^
time for me to get some dinner : ) see you all later! :D
thank you, Jera...when it comes to saying them, though, I am lost! When I start speak so badly in school, I usually have to whisper "senkyuuhyakuhachijuusannen" to myself, to convince myself I can still talk properly!
See you later, Babbler! enjoy your...aa, whatever you say for ryori!
bye all...I have to go for a bit too... *grudgingly goes back to her process flows at work* if I don't see you later, have a lovely evening/day/night!!
see you later, EasternBlue :)
(last note for Lemon) - be proud of the fact that you are multi-lingual and doing so well at speaking English...it is not easy to master & even people who are native born have trouble speaking properly!! (((HUGS)))
Aa, thank you so much, EasternBlue! :) That means a lot to me!
ryori...dinner? meal? i couldn't find it in the online jap-eng dictionary
Hi CATHB sorry been on the phone and had to dissappear for a while! Well we've stuck the blessed Barbie stickers to the wall -God alone knows what Flynn will make of it -he won't use the Cinderella kitchen paper!
Aa! I just looked it up, and the english word was 'cooking'...used as a noun :) What site are you using, Hurshy-sensei? (thank you for making an effort!)
I'm back... someone was at the door... Lemon, I am very very impressed that you could whisper such a thing to yourself... I doubt I could if my life depended on it, warai!
warai Jera...I have to take a deep breath first! And I get a few odd looks :)
good afternoon everyone.
Hi Doxy - how are you?
not bad, and you?
I'm fine if somewhat busy & not getting very far with this grid! LOL

back in a moment - going fishing for a new icon
hey all
LOL Cath where will I put them? Barbie has taken over the world! The only good thing is that they are removable! So I suoppose I could whip them all down when he comes to stay & put up the thomas ones instead!
Oh one more thing before I go... snowyowl, does your Troop do SWAPS??
lemon - i was using this site: http://www.freedict.com/ onldict/jap.html

Thanks, boreetos, I was trying to be terribly clever...
Oh LEMONed your greeting sounds so much nicer than our Hi - much more graceful!
Hey Jera - we do swaps. sorry Just walked by the computer and saw that.
Jera - do you mean as in pen pals? Its not something I know about just off the ytop of my head.
i wish i had some pics of my fish at home, they're awesome!
No problem, musicmom... drop me a line, okay... my e-mail is in my profile...
thank you Hurshy-sensei! :) warai, Snowyowl...I can never pronounce 'hi' without think about it first! My mouth wants to say 'hee'
I will. I had another question for you too.
LEMONed, where are you?
SWAPS are like little pins, miniature things to trade & pin on a hat or bag... we do them to commemorate different things we're learning. Some exotic Welsh SWAPS would be very cool!
Here's a website about them... http://www.girlscou ts.org/program/gs_central/swap s
I am missing two 6 letter words. I have the following ga6/24 gr6/24 qu6 /33 qu6/27 ra6/18 ta6/24 t e6/18 What am I missing?
No spaces in that addy, Babble didn't like that, I guess...
TMS there's an Ar6

^^; sorry to sound ignorant, but what is a 'plural'?
A plural is the term used for more than one of something. It usually involves putting an s on the end.
Aa, thank you, Tigereye! :)
LEMONed, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable by asking you where you were. My son just got stationed in Okinawa and I was curious if you lived in Japan.
Does anyone have a clue to the qu 4/9 and the qu 6/33? PLEASE

Hi LEMON!! Every day is a fun learning experience here! Enjoying babble so far?
(listened)
Smaller, it is certain different! warai...I enjoy the company of babblers. You are all so welcoming, and all so accepting when I get it wrong over and over!
sa5/14 a shortened form of a rank in the army
warai, thank you Hurshy-sensei! Add to my last post - and you are helpful enough to correct me!
lemon - you need to be warned that smaller is a master of irony (or a mistress of irony...)
(certainly)
sa5/14 military term for under a captain, shortened
thanks snowy (and smaller)
uh...how do you spell that?
warai Sherb...I take most things peoples say on babble literally! I think talking to Smaller will lead me very confused :/
LOL Sherb! Lemon, glad you are having fun!
thanks... I'm suitably embarrassed, as my dad's military!
LOL Lizzie - sometimes it's the thing that's close to home that gets us!
as in BIlko?
(lead me to be very confused)
LEMONed, you may be right about taking everything seriously.
taking babblers literally is not often a good idea.
Lemon- Not to worry! Sherb lies a lot but we keep her around because she's pretty!
Aa, arigato Hurshy-sensei...if you ever get bored of continual correcting me, feel free to throw me out of a window ^^
I have to go for now. Have to take hubby to airport. Will be back later to finish.

Good evening, is a nice nightime greeting or parting phrase. Good night is usually later & often implies sleeping soon.
Congratulations, Smaller! (I think I said that right) Jera, I would love that! I miss the sakura trees :) Hurshy-sensei, you are amazing!
Me too smaller, I just need ONE word!
No problem... how much planning time do you think is reasonable, BV? Summer can get rather unpleasant here, at least to me. But I can just make sure we meet in the AC...
Aa...thank you, Jera! I said oyasumi nasai to Lucky, I think that is more like your 'good night'
Thanks Lemon, Jera and Ren. Ren, sure. i'll get right on that

SHERB! are you still here? You're the hottest on who's hot!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
In another board I belong to we are starting to send around a camera with a stuffed toy monkey to take pictures of landmarks. It gets sent back to the point person who will develop and post the pics.

somehow that sounded better in my head -- WE take pictures of landmarks with the monkey in the pic...
That's a pretty good idea, don't get the monkey though!
just something to tie all the pics together - a common denominator if you will...
hey smaller, thanks... forgot to look today... would have missed it...

yes, that's true. I really appreciate the help and will try to give some clues in return.
lwg50- no worries! swiping clues is equally as fun as cluing. ones subversively fun, the other is superiority fun
does "superiority" have an adverbial form?
bedtime for me... see you all soon :D
LOL usually, by the time I've thought of a clue someone else has produced a much better one!
Night Sherb!!!

Jera and Snowy, There are a lot of really good cluers! Thankfully!
Evening all

well, there's one right now. Evening Yoink!
Evening, Yoink! Yes, smaller, I don't complain, usually there is at least one helpful person around at all times!
Jera and snowy, you give great clues too. are you guys done? yoink are you done?
hi kids!
howdy boreetos!! you and yoink need fish!
hey, boreetos--long time no see!
Hi Smaller, yes I'm done. It was a breeze today : p
yoink, oh LOL, there's your fish. Fish sticks. Ick. Need tartar sauce LADELLED on for those. Hi Une, Cute fish!

oh smaller, im all set, you should refresh.
Evening yoink. No Smaller I haven't finished - my brain is like custard this week -had 3 littlies staying since last sunday -it's 1/2 term here and hubbys mum had big surgery yesterday!
nice, have some beads for me!
will do . . . my king cake arrived FedEx a litte while ago!
i found the baby once in a king cake
Hi Snowy, Jera, Boreetos, Une, Ren...
so did you host the party the next year?
what's a "king cake"? a mardi gras thing? did you know that Fat Tuesday is also national Pancake Day?
hi Yoink!
mais oui!!
I'm making a King Cake for tomorrow night (we are celebrating early)!
Whats the baby in the cake all about please?!
a king cake is a traditional oval shaped cake decorated with the mardi gras colors of green, gold, and purple
une - what does that mean when you find the baby? hey yoink!!!
if you find the (plastic!) baby in your piece of cake you host the party the next year!
I'm so sorry for wandering off again... yes, smaller, I'm done, finished in about an hour in the wee hours of the morning... the only time I get any peace around here!
We are having a festival themed fun day for our guiding groups on 1st April and had wondered about Mardi Gras
any clues for the top a word? I'm stumped.
Okay, who knows what the colors mean? (didn't know there'd be a pop quiz, did you?)
there's tons of info about it online--you might want to look at the New Orleans website, www.nola.com
Oh I know, Unea... this is a quiz... I have done my research for the Girl Scout meeting tomorrow...
purple for justice gold for faith green for power
boreetos -its the sound we make when the doctor asks you to open your mouth wide - in plural
the scouts'll have fun with that, jera! are you having your very own parade?! :-)
You switched green & gold but you get some beads anyway!
thanks snowy!! Nice icon, is that a butterfly fish?
Not a parade, but we are making masks & jester's hats, & earning a France patch.
oh, well, that's the info that came with the cake
how cool!!
It's an angelfish boreetos - yw
Really? Huh, one would expect that to be accurate... I only did on-line research... better double-check before I teach the kids!
you sound like my mom--she was our scout leader for years and years and we were VERY active!
yeah! angel! that's the ticket!!
thanks for the site -une and thanks for the ideas Jera - they sound great for us!
i just looked at a website . . . apparently the king cake info was wrong . . . apparently they're alrighty dipping into the holiday booze!
already, not alrighty! sorry!
For April I'm in the mood for Easter... Spring planting... Earth Day/Arbor Day... maybe even ANZAC Day!
oh jera -your email wasn't in your profile - I could pass the SWAP ideas on to my daughter if you like -
Thanks for checking that out Unea!
do your scouts have a garden?
night all, I gotta get back to work. Happy Fish day, see you all tomorrow!
Really? It's supposed to be there! It's jera_shadowdancer@yahoo.com I'm so boring.
hi there! Anyone have a clue for the ra7/28?
The fun day is for the 13 units in my Division -our units theme is yet to be decided but Easter will definately get in there somewhere!
Think baby toys, Cathyar... or snake's warning
Later, boreetos!
plural of ra6 18 . . . think what a baby shakes in its hand
Ty jera - will speak to my daughter tomorrow.
thanks! feel duh for not getting that one!!!
We all have our duh moments... that's why we need friends to help out!
hmm...now for the qu6/33?
Unea were you talking to me about the garden? Planting one will indeed be a Spring project for our Troop... hopefully our bulbs from last fall will be comin up soon!
Rhymes with a sexy latin dance...
thanks jera - i've got 31 words now......8)
yes, jera--bulbs sound terrific--we've had such a crazy winter, i've already cut a few blooms!
Hi Ren, Jera, Snowy and all. How's it going today?

hello babblers
yo hellen
this was my third board & i got it done pretty quick, i'm glad cause i was going to give up on this site, it was taking up way too much time
i'll never even get to start it, i'll just stare longingly at it
hello all
heysha
some of you babblers may enjoy the game i play, tangleword, on iwin.com (formerly playsite.com) it's just like this, EXCEPT, you only get 2 minutes to get as many words as you can
actually you are able to create your own custom rooms anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes & you can put a limit on the ratings of the players in the room (to make it more fair for newer players)
sounds good
hey hey hut!!!!
oooooooooh rennie! just the person to cheer me up.
did i ever tell you my story about my pet barracuda? his/her name was berry and i pierced his/her fin w/a gold hoop.....8)
you serious!?...you're kidding right?
nope - i lived in the caribbean and a baby barracuda adopted me.....
is there more to you than meets the eye ren? hmmm - kind of ...fishy ;-) i once had a deer that was keen on following me.
berry stayed by my side when i would dive and change propellors on vessels....berry liked soggy bread,,,
wow a deer!!! a baby deer or a biggie one?
was berry a boy barracuda or a girl barracuda - and i thought they were supposed to be viscous. i think you're pulling my leg.
it was a biggie one, actually, i think it may have been a hit man. i'd go on a ride about the farm in my golf cart, and he would follow me all the way, then dissapear. then, right when i'd be working up a good head of steam down a steep hill, he'd bust out in front of me.
nope - berry was a baby...i don;t know how to tell a boy berracuda from a girl. but he adopted me...would i lie to you baby?...no really nut...it is true.
was it a boy deer ot a girl deer?
okay - believe ya ren - how could i not? that is very cool, i've never been scuba diving - i think it sounds fun
wasn't the right time of year to tell, no one was in racks.
i guess it's fun as a sport...i was trying to make a living since i had chucked everything else and ran away from the world.... i spent a lot of time under boats. lot of cool fishies
oh...do deer shed their racks? if it was a guy deer maybe he was trying to attract your attention!!
i wouldn't mind chucking a few things...maybe boarding a plane to california and not looking back (not telling anyone where i went either)
hmmm, so are you suggesting that it was a boy deer and it was sweet on me? interesting - like i had a young buck!
california.....hmmmmm....where ? frisco? la?
sha, it took me awhile to make out your picture - very cool, where did you find it?
i'd say...anywhere, it's the other end of the country, thats what counts. sometimes i look at the company postings for out there and sigh, course, i sighed over the puerto rico posting too.
Good evening all. I'm just getting started, again
i love puerto rico.
had it from a friend marzipan babies really cool eh
i was fond of it myself
hey quick...i'm still just here moving very slowly....
hey ren. coincidently, my last name is like the first few letters of your username.
i love, love marzipan, usually only have it during the christmas holidays -have seen it in various fruit shapes, pig shapes, but sha, i have never, ever, ever seen it come in baby
does anyone feel generous with clues tonight?
well quick...my name is like most of the letters of my user name!!!! hmmmm - are we related?
i wonder if that's what they mean when they say "oooooh cute baby, i could just eat you up" lol
nut - did you ever go to the governor's mansion in pr?
lol nut!!!! they are really cute babies sha
and ren, every time i see your name come up, i think it's me, first 3 letters of my first name
* looks up from work * - i do believe i was driven past it on a third class tour - or was that the bahamas? i dunno, i think not.
yeah, i didn't - puerto rico was bicardi factory and shopping.
helen.....it's only me.....don't mean to tease you...
bicardi factory as well...but for work....
so what about the governers mansion? did you and the fish go there to visit rennie?
lol, k ren
catch you all later, i'll be back for the flip
nope - they wouldn;t let berry in...it was a party and they said he/she had to much mercury in him/her to join the party....so i went dateless
wish work would take me there ren, most exciting thing it does for me is take me 100's of 1000's of feet underground
nut - do you work for a mining company...or the governemnt...or just say - none of your bees wax...
I need some qu word clues. I already have 4/9, 6/33, 5/16 x 2
so...who's found the na4/4 so far?? :) clue please!
qu 6 - sounds like a latin dance
hmm, i don't mine, and i don't work for the government. does that answer your question?
na4/4 is a female name, plural
suthun, sorry I don't have it yet myself ren, I have that one - thanks!
thanks nut....so when do you get to see the sunshine?
any clues for the ha 4-5 please
thanks mac
right now - i get to see it every day - i'm one of the lucky ones.
ha4/5 - one of these Scottish spellings, ends in pl letter
yw, suth
bbr - someone left a coffe pot on and it smells bad......
qu 6-27 add a s to ur prev word
ugh - coffee
can't find the qu6/33, latin dance does not help me
ha4/5 ha + second vowel + consonant
qu 6-33 an organisation financed by the government
for the qu6, the dance in question is the one "it takes two" to do
qu 6/33 rhymes with a tropical fruit
qu6/33 qu + anagram of ag4/6
thanks everyone, got the qu6/33
qu 6-33 rhymes with the make of a fizzy drink
thats me all finished
Congrats, Sha!
way to go sha!!!!!!!!!!!!

nite sha
Thanks for the clues guys ! I now only have 30 words to go (lol)
down to 12 words! any clues for the second t in the second row? please???
or the first "a" in the 1st row?
hey ren - you still there?
2nd t in 2nd row...move to the left - t + consonent + 2 vowels
question ren
yep nut - i came back.....someone left a coffee pot burning....big dummies
i hate coffee - anywhoooo - tell me your secret to working so much with losing your sanity - i could use that.
first 'a' is a sounds one makes when they're satisfied or enlightened
thanks ren! :)
with out, not with
the first 'a' starts with a double vowel
yay....ty macuser
you're welcome :) glad it helped
10 left now!!!
nut - i make a game out of everything i do...i jsut put on old radio programs and sit in my office....oh....and the doctor gave me xanex......
y/w cathyar
hmmm - gov't don' t have much of a sense of humor - and i have klonopin
but i'm thinking of black velvet
i have klonopin! to help me sleep
really hurshy? mines to keep me from - er - going off the deep end.
ok....also...my husband makes it a point to make me laugh on my way to work, during the day and on my drive home...and if that doesn;t work...i stand in front of a mirror and go heh heh heh ho ho ho until i start laughing. the ocotr that treated my mother for breast cancer told her to do this...it works in making us both lauugh.....
ah. yes, i know it has multiple uses... :)
aw, he sound wonderful - mine usually - um cooks dinner - however he's immobile right now - so i'm a little, how shall i say FRAZZLED
poor nut
however, we're best at laughing at ourselves when we are argueing
reminds me i should probably eat some sort of food...
the mirror trick is really good nut.....you can laugh at me going heh heh heh ho ho ho.....
i'm laughing at it already ren
okay - got it - stand in front of the mirror and call myself a ho.
et4 and en5?
en5 en + spanish word for aunt
nut...mez is a little out of iut at times....medication for the diabetes. he has never had chemo, doc removed all of the cancer...so i have to laught by myself...it still funny!!! ya gotta stay happy nut!!!!
oops... the et is the et4/5 if i may be so bold as to beg
no nut!!!! that would mean you went back to being lulu
i shall be happy when this here work is done, and when we found out why he's in such pain now - little worrisome in the location.
speaking of the mirror - i need to go take care of my mom - bbl...let me know how the mirror works nut...just don;t let your co-workers catch you...8)
oh yeah - i mean i'll stand in front of the mirror and give myself the eye - then my eyes will roll back and i will have a vision
ow...sorry nut.....
yes - the vision of the bathroom floor!!!
no, no vision of the bathroom floor, it's m-e-s-s-y
ty ty mac.... ahh...et4 could be...?
et4/5 is kinda hard to give a clue for. Try this... go to the second 't' and follow the grid around in a half circle
hmmm, i don't live far from et 4/5
lol....got et by monkey-type... ty
good :)
argh...3 g's left... last e in 2nd row would help though.
cathy - add short ver. of hello
2nd 'e' is what they call the rail system in Chicago + an informal way of saying hello
i'm so excited...if i finish this would be my first time!!!
help with last ta please...the 7/36??
cathy is a virgin
ta7 - in math, the line that touches a circle at exactly one point, or if you're the student, what you wish your teacher would go off on instead of telling you that
then who are those kids in the picture?
ta7/36 you exposed yourself to the sun to get a ta* + ge4/6
virgin babble completer that is!!!
lol, good clue hurshy :)
i know, i was kidding
thanks again mac!
it's all the same
well macuser, i am a math teacher, so...
yw, suth :)
lol, that explains it hurshy ;)
rail sys in chicago...being from canada...i just can't think of it!!! WAHHH...
but the g's i'm looking for are both ga4/6's and the ga6/24
okay cathy, how about this... it's the word meaning 'the' in spanish
but, cathyar, the rest of the clue should be enough to help you find it - you know it starts with e...
lol...shoulda figured.... track parts i think are called e*s
ga 4/6 homonym of not lose weight but ... ga 4/6 rhymes with not future but... ga 6/25 rhymes with mercury, venus, and mars are each called a ....
great clues hurshy!
(although, cathy, that's not why the rail sys is called that in chicago - it's short for elevated bc, well, it is elevated0
*blush* why thank you, mac
6/25, ha! silly typo.
hmmm....can't figure the first ga4/6...but got the others you gave me clues for hurshy
is it because you don't know what a homonym is? two words that sound exactly alike but are spelled differently...
i got it.... 3 more.... 2 fives and 1 four letter wrd
the ga4/6... the last two letters sounds like the joint between your hip and foot
nevermind
ok ....3 left.... the ar5/14....as 4/4 and ta5/14
will i soon no longer be a babble virgin?
ar 5/14 is an element.
as 4/4 means out in the ocean
ta 5/14 is a whole lot like sa 5/14
looking back, i always thought homonymn was a gay nymn
hurshy, ar5 if something needs to be done immeadiately..it's very ur****....change the u to an a.
but nut, homo just means same. it's the sexual part of the word that makes it gay.
gramma, that's ar6, and what are you tellin' me for? :)
no wonder the teacher looked at me so oddly
I'M DONE!!!! I'M DONE!!!! DONE!!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! YAYAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Thank you so much for helping me loose my babble cherry!!!!! :) teehee (hope that's not too graphic for anyone)

perhaps I should have said diminuitive for sgt.
Thank you , BrandyJack !!
ga 6/24?
it's a large sea bird, also called a solan. loosely rhymes with the te6/18.
or you can take the ga4/4, double the middle consonant and end it with a cross.....
BrandyJack to the rescue ! (again) tks
where did everyone go?
so sad..... the first time I might actually finish a grid and no one is here to celebrate with
go for it, Quick. I'm here

Congrats Quick *%*%*%*%*%* :)
good evening. Back to finish.
I finished ages ago myself.
((doxy1lover))
I would have finished this afternoon, but had to take hubby to airport, went shopping, fixed dinner, etc.
Angelsong: Good for you, BUT, quit braggin'. Just kidding, you have bragging rights tonight. I salute you.
I'm waiting to see if Mamabear is going to be logged in tonight...

Hi Angel :)
A few months now...obsessed with BABBLIN'!!!!

hi, faeriekae!
na - what a child might call a grandmother, minus the second a, pluralized
na - short form for grandmaS
en5?
Wow - I need a really big fish for those two words lol :) warai
my man's a Honda dealer.... think the logo icon brought me good luck!!!

en 5= a form of elder mindlessness...less the first 3 letters
ty cathy
not sure what the actual en5 means though.
welcome doxy... everyone helps me so much...the least i can do is hang in and help others!!! :) it's fun!
en + afternoon beverage (a sip of ***) change 2nd vowel to the "2nd vowel"
Finished.

YAY DOXY....I've seen u out here so much...u prob lost count of how many times you've finished!!!
Doxy - Congrats *%*%*%*%*%*
th + two vowels
cathy, I usually finish. I'm stubborn in that respect. I've only had a few I haven't finished.
Doxy - TY
your welcome
th = "how do i love th** ...let me count the ways"...but change the 2nd vowel.
all worship Doxy for her stubborn streak!!! wish i had the energy/time to hang in like that!!!
Cath - thanks I got it already.
good thing ya got it...cause in reading back i see i screwed up the clue....shoulda been...change the FIRST vowel.
cathy, I don't have much of a social life. Hubby watches TV in the bedroom while I am in the living room. Gives me something to do.
I'm going for now. Will be back at the flip.
wow dox... he should chuck a lil luvin on ya sometimes...or vice versa...lol.... i'm a single mom so only get a chance to play after homework, supper, bath etc. is done...usually once my son is in bed.
cu l8r doxy...i'll be outta here b4 u r back prob.
my kids are grown also. that helps alot. Although, my daughter and grandbaby just moved in, and my youngest daughter gets married in 2 months.
Doxy...that's so nice!!! Spring wedding!!!
must be tough to adjust to having a baby around all the time tho.... my parents did that for me when i first had my son...now i'm a proud homeowner!!! and landlady!!!
gotta love my family for helping me out when i really needed it though.
haven't had a baby in the house for 19 years. I'm not used to it. (my youngest is 19).
Hang in with it Doxy... she will (or should) appreciate it in time all you and hubby now do for her.
Hello!
my house looks like a bomb went off in it right now. I leave for a conference tomorrow. Going about 4 hours away and won't be back til Sat. I just want things out of my living room.
hi harpjane
how old is yer grandbaby Doxy?
Harp Hi :)
almost 6 weeks.
Oooh...the late night feedings stage still!!! Wow...that's a tough time. My son was colicky...my parents helped me pace the floors with him nights so i could get up to go to work without killing myself with exhaustion.
I'm looking forward to the small break away from everyone and everything.
I have to close my bedroom door all the way so I don't hear her at night. That mom hearing kicked in. She isn't back to work yet and I work 12 hour shifts.
Doxy...I can't say that I blame you!!! It's gotta be hard...specially when u thought your baby days were over awhile ago!!!
It's hard, but like a parent, I'll do whatever I can for my kids. My daughter's inlaws keep thanking me for what I am doing. To me, it's just what parents do.
Does baby's papa help out at all?
Well...as my parents do...you deserve a medal for the love you have for your kids!
Believe it or not...many out there would say "fend for yerself...u made yer bed, now go lay in it".
I thank god daily my parents have the mindset u have... I hated having to depend on them for 2 years...but I dug my way out and I think they're now very proud...and they so LOVE their grandson
It's a long story. He was involved in a situation before he met my daughter, took responsibility for his actions. He got kicked out of a program he was in by a counselor that doesn't like him, and got sent to prison for a short time. It's a complicated situation, and he is really a decent guy. He just got put in a situation that he was unaware of at the time.
That is why my daughter had to move back in. He just got arrested again about 3 weeks ago.
Oh Doxy...sounds very hard for everyone! Keep yer chin up!!! Your daughter should do the same!!!
MAJOR CUDOS TO DOXY AND FAMILY!!!!
she had a rough couple of weeks. But I think things will get a little better with us helping as much as we can. We are hoping she will go to school while she is living here. She will be able to get a much better job that way.
Doxy, your daughter is quite young?
I'm just jealous of my hubby. He went to Tuscon for the weekend. He is volunteering in a PGA tournament.
she is 23
Now it's his turn...you get to get away for your conference and he gets to help out on his own!
Ahh...I was 32 when I had my son, but I already had my career somewhat established...which helped a lot.
no, he is in Tucson(?) now. He doesn't come back til Sunday night. I'm only going to St. George, Utah. It's about 4 hours from here and 4 hours from Las Vegas.
Harder for a 23 year old who prob would rather be out with friends than having baby to take care of while daddy gets hauled away.
welll...you SHOULD make a point of taking some YOU-time at some point over the next couple months!!!
I am going with someone from work, and we are talking about going to Mesquite, Nevada after the conference. It's a one day conference on stabilizing mothers before transporting to another hospital.
Ahhh...so you are a nurse!!!
Good Evening to all :)
Hubby is taking me to Arkansas in May. He is going for another golf tourny, I am going to visit a cousin.
hi GW. How's Sebastian?
hi greywoulf..
He is home and sleeping in the bassinet beside me :) He has a nebuliser treatment in an hour and a half
glad he was able to come home.
i better get to bed...it's after midnight here...work and school for the kid comes early!!! Gnite... Doxy...it was great getting to know you a bit...
As are we all :) Kirsten has just gone into a much needed sleep -- I will prob stay out here all night so she can have a full 8 hours uninterrupted :) She asked me to relay her gratitude for all the well wishes, prayers, and support from everyone here :)
nite cathy. Thanks for letting me vent a little.
And speak of the devil... Seb is about to join me, as he is getting fussy
Any time Doxy...gnite. GW...been reading the posts and am also glad sebastian is out of the woods.
Thanks Cathyar -- sleep well (*hug*)
I'll be back at the flip. See you later.
Later doxy -- (*Hug and a foot massage for the tired nurse*)
Hi woulf . You planning on staying awake all night???
What do you have to do with the nebulizer?
And for how long?
The nebuliser is to administer meds to help his breathing -- I am not sure how long he will have to be on it -- but the treatments are every 4 hours and on Fri he goew to the doctor to assess if we can drop the frequency to every 6
I can't believe I am only 3 words away and can't find them.
Fantastic way to start a new job!
And I will prob be catching catnaps here and there -- Kirsten has been at the hospital the whole time and thus not been able to get anything remotely resembling proper sleep for the past few days :)
Which one cyKo?
Hello everyone :)
I need te 6/21
Yeah -- I even commented on that to them -- they are completely sympathetic because both of the top bosses have had to deal with similar situations
It's the plural of the 5/12
I'm a moron I found it.
Hey zubie :)
That helps alot. It's when they are clueless you have problems!
Hi GW. :) How's the family?
Is Seb hungry or just fussing now?
cyko -- there are no morons here in Babbleonia! We all overlook the obvious sometimes :)
No morons here. You see any morons woulf?
Zubie -- a lot better now that we are all home together again :) hoot -- I don't know -- gassy definitely, but I put him on his belly while preparing a bottle and he calmed down again
Whatever works!
You were not all home together all this time, GW? *Confused*
Ok all I have left is a ta 4/6 and ta 5/10.
Sorry, zubie -- thought you knew -- Seb contracted RSV -- a respiratory virus that is particularly dangerous for infants and children --- he was admitted to the hospital on Sunday --- Mom has been staying with him the entire time -- they came home this evening :)
The 4/6 is what you get when you bite a lemon - ta** the 5/10 is plural of 4/4 above.
Found the 4/6 just need the ta 5/10 now
ta4/6 -- drop the last 3 of the 7
Oh dear. I'm sorry I didn't know, GW. Haven't been around much. Glad he's well enough now to be home. :D (((GW)))
(*zubie*) -- hey, it is easy to forget that people have lives outside the log, don't sweat it :D
WOW Thanks everyone for the help I've now completed my first grid ever!!!!! TY very much everyone.
Great ! Congrats!!! I only finished my first a couple of weeks ago. feels wonderful doesn't it!
Congrats cyko!!!!!!! It's a great feeling, huh? How long have you been playing?
And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for asking for clues for the EASY ones! :):D
There's a ta 7? Oh dear. Any clue?
help with the Q6/33?
ta7 -- a line which intersects a circle at only one point
& is sine, cosine ta***** Thanks woulf - rhymes with latin dance
Sorry cyko - 7
qu6 rhymes with ta5, which is also a word used in a Marlon Brando flick from the 70's, Last T*** in Paris
cyko are you working of the list in Bab Anon? It's in General and is posted for every new game. Tells you how many words and their size & point value. Up in the box on top - last line.
now that is a word I have NEVER encountered before! oops -- now I think Seb is hungry-- let me evict the cat and get him :)
Seems like I'm ALWAYS encountering words I never saw before! And I got it from A2Z! I'm not 100% crazy...just 98%
Hi Harp
Thanks, GW. Got it. :D Funny I had the two short ones which are part of it but I didn't see the 7.
It is really great to finish one been playing for a couple weeks now.
zubie -- I do that all the time :D
Happens to everyone. I always miss the plurals and other endings on the first run thru. You learn to look for them as you go along.
Ok. I'm on 53. Dare I ask how many are in this grid?
84
Anyone got a clue for the ga 6/24 pls?
It's an easy grid but check Babblers Anonymous so you can figure out where you are
gooog fly away ocean bird
ga6 -- take the 4, double the middle cons then add a t
It's a bird - add a consonant in the middle of the 4/6 and another at the end
yeah I'm done
Thanks everyone. . I got it!
Good for you lurker! :D
huh?
congrats, shorty!!!!!!!
ty GW
84? Then I can do it I think!
I'm teasing shorty - didn't know you were there
oh ok :)
hi GW...the little one is home, I see!
zub -- of course you can -- you've got us here, though i will have to give Seb his meds in a half hour
GW..Mamabear is going to be a very happy lady when she checks her e mail. :)
yep, Amgel -- and now I have go change a VERY stinky diaper -- I don't remember Kristianna being quite as lethal as he is :)
Angel -- I just IMed her with the news as well ;)
Lots of help showing up zub and this is an easy grid. Think you may already have the hard ones. Just remember it's alphbetical and you can monkey-type a few too.
GW, ask her quick to check her e mail :)
I made her a Babble page today, and I'm dying to see what she thinks of it
Woulf whatever they gave him in the hospital isn't helping. I didn't get lethals til after I stopped nursing!:D:D:D
Angel -- Mama is checking it out now :)
And I am done!! -- just in time to use the nebuliser :)
en 5?
en 5 is a two letter greeting preceded by EN
en5 -- en + t + two vowels
Back in a bit, time to use the nebuliser
Thanks. Got it :D
te 5/ 12 te 6/ 21 te 4/ 5 te 5/ 12 please?
zubie you already have the first 2 second 2 - remove middle letter from 5/12 second 5/12 is plural of the 4/5
Angelsong - thank you!!!! I sent you an email...... you are AWESOME!!!!! (((((((ANGELSONG))))))))))
mama.....do you like it????
sorry zub it was cyko who needed them! first 5/12 is previous 4/4 with h on end - then plural
I am not sure how to get into it all - and it's too late for me to begin clicking around. I am afraid I will do something wrong. I am too tired now. I am anxious though..... you are toooooooo sweet!!!!!
Ah no wonder I was confused, owl. Thanks. Got that 5 now. Funny I've been wandering about all over the grid and never spotted it.
I think the eyes just refuse to cooperate after a while. I try to break up my hunting into sections. A 15 min break can amke a difference.
Of course nothing helps the typing!
Finished my first one! I expected at least some fireworks or something....
Woot! I'm done, and I only needed one hint (this time)! Anyone need a hint?
Congrat moog - it does help if you let us know but the fireworks crowd is not here anyway.
maaike..... *!"*!"*!"FIREW ORKS"*!*!*!"*!"*!"
Saved by the Bear! :D
And please REFRESH!!!!!
just "bearly" hootowl!
Will NOT get into a punning match! Evening Mama - tired are you? Me too. Don't think I'll wait for the flip.
good nite all!!!!!!! sleep well and sweet dreamzzzzzzz
ta 4/ 4 ta 5/ 14 Any clues, please? The first ta 4-5 pair
Night mama
first is what a lemon produces when you eat it - ta** second is sine, cosine, ta*****
Sa 5/14
zubie - I don't think it's a pair. do you have the ta 4 that means what you get in the summer from the sun (plural) the ta 5 is the guy in the army with a t instead of an s
ta 5/14 - this is a very popular latin dance, characterized by the male holding a rose in his mouth. For the 4, remove the vowel at the end
hi... need help with my final 3... ra4/5 ra6/18 ra7/28
For the sa think of Beetle Bailey and his fights with sa***
now I's gone...... ciao!
oops wrong ones I guess . . sorry
I'm back!
just in time, GW.... good nite!!!!!!
babies play with their ra6/18, pluralise for the seven. Think type of noise.
ra 4/5 is anger without the w 6/18 - baby's toy and last is plural
Guy in the army? I hadn't the summer one. Thanks mamabear. Lost me with the army clue though.
ra4/6 -- think the wr*** of God (extreme anger) ra6 -- a baby has a ra**** (noisemaker that is shaken) ra7 -- plural
G'nite Mama --(*HUG*)
Missing one ra 4/5 as well.
Never read beetle Bailey? ok - I think it goes private, corporal then sa***
sa5/14 -- change the 1st letter of the ta5/14 (light shield or buckler)
OOOH! Doh! Silly me. :D Got it now

And I think I'm done, if 84 is the total? :o

Evening All, I'm back for the flip!
