Hi - What great spring weather and a beautiful weekend to enjoy.
did you do okay in all the rain this last week?
Yes, all is well. And you?
s 7/28
our weather was mostly dry, but my mother was visiting her mother in LA and they really got drenched!
I have relatives in the Kirkland area and your state is so green and so beautiful. We are such a congested area that we have great flood control .
yes, although I was born in Los Angeles county, I only lived there the first 6 months. I really love western washington... and though I enjoyed my visits to my grandparents, it's usually too dry for me!

I have a really dumb question. I tried googling but can't get many answers. Where do I get an enable dictionary?
http://www.a2zwordfinder.com/c rossword.html This page is my biggest help when I get stuck. From angelsongs page
thanks so much :)
hi- can some-one pls tell e how many e words there are?
There are 9 e words.
thankyou haz
You're welcome.
does anyone else keep wanting to have sentient?
Just you, Atalante, just you. Good morning!
morning! but I'll bet you'll see it all the time now!!!
Yes - I'm doomed.....
sory :)
sorry - even!
don't I just sound sooooo sorry *grin*
Sorry - was called away momentarily. Yes, I can just feel the regret oozing from you.
and what did we do to deserve INs and REs in the same puzzle!
Well, I don't know - I have been a model citizen but who knows what others have been up to?
something Very Bad, I think
oooh there's a word very like the one I was complaining about not being in the grid earlier. different beginning
The good thing about having re and in in the same grid is that you can make a word out of them!
1 down, 206 to go :P
I'm up to in7/28 ... amazingly I got all of the other in's
Keep going - there are two in7/28
darnit, I thought I was nearly done with in.
this is strange - the 4 letter fluffy valentine's day word - I can't rememebr the last time we had that! You'd think it would be fairly common in grids
AND look at the other lo4 - goes with it beautifully
OH! true! hadn't noticed that!
LOL my silly cat - am sitting here with VH1 on TV in the background. Cat has stayed quite happily asleep through everything until they played Bjork. Then she immediately glared at the TV and stalked out of the room
gah, got the last in ... the one which ends in e. Didn't know that was a word!
A discerning cat. I never could get her music (not that I tried) but I concluded that anyone who could try to wear a swan dress didn't deserve to be understood.
I agree. She is a kitten of great taste at an early age
duh they both end in e. I'm going to get some sleep - I've got a cold and obviously my grey matter needs a rest. Goodnight.
Goodnight, caloli - I hope you feel better soon.
Okay, if my family are to eat this week, I'll need to get myself off to town. It's cold and wet and I hate grocery shopping. I'll be back later. Happy hunting!
urf :( good luck! hurry home!
hiya everyone! :) whats todays picture theme?
actually, bex, I have no idea!
oh well! curmit it will be then!
yeah, I'm sticking with my undine for a while!
hello everyone....a very quick visit !!....we just got back on after a power cut !!.....and why can't we have 'to be seated again' ?
very fetching bex !!
Hello, everyone!!!!!! Welcome to yet another brain-taxer!!!!!!
wow there's 2 V words I thought I'd never have to type after leaving uni!
morning all
morning!
Good morning all! Any Firefox experts here - I've got what might be a stupid question...
I'll try and help if I can ...
any clues for the 2nd he-4-5
ummm - the other day I managed to shove my floating QuickNote off the side of my monitor and I can't seem to get it back. Any ideas?
no idea, sorry :( I don't use Quicknote ...
Maybe AngelSong will tune in soon - I got the QuickNote idea from her... There's an he4/5 that is a character's name on Battlestar Galactica...?
hello.
hello cliff : )
never saw so many e's in a puzzle before. morning sha :)
Perhaps we could swap an e for an a? Morning/afternoon all Quite nice grid today so far.
Hi Mitch!
Hey amanda, how's it going?
hi mitch.
Pretty well, thanks! I've had to cut back on my Babble-chatting to make myself get some work done, but it's Saturday! Nice grid for a weekend morning (well, early afternoon)!
I was trying to do the same last week amanda, but it is hard not to pop in and say hello, and then you get sucked in. Babble has a way of blurring time!!! LOL
Wasn't Oin one of the dwarves in The Hobbit?
today's theme is shoes! :-)
That's why I haven't even said hello all week - knew if I started I wouldn't get out. So I just lurked
Yes he was Douglas - why?
I just got here, and what do I see staring me in the face? Oin!
Ah, I see. Could be worse!
el 4/5...whatever
If I recall correctly, he had a brother named Gloin
...who's not in the grid. And I don't think any of the rest of them are either, although I haven't tried...
Right again Douglas, I may have to dust off my copy and read again.
just found a fishing net...
"faints" just had a peek at the list and there are approx 32 re's, I was feeling so positive about the grid having passed the 1/2 way mark boo hoo!
I want noir to be in the grid
i hate re's.
jove is in the grid, as in "By jove!"
I think most of us do cliff - they can be so tricky to find.
"By Jove" Capital letter
pretend isn't in the grid, but I want it to be...
just pretend its there then
Hi Atalante Meant to ask yesterday, are you going to post yr undine pic on yr web as I would love to have a look at a bigger version, the icon is so small.
I just learned a new word, with a Scandinavian origin, uff da!
let us in on it, Douglas!
I wish it was mine!!!!!! Its by Waterhouse, an artist whom I simply adore. A bigger version is here: http://www.johnwilliamwaterhou se.com/images/content/waterhou se/hi/150.jpg
It's one of the words in the grid that I've never seen before...I was bluffing, seeing if it would take a Spanish number, only to be told it was a type of whale!
I bet you could do a wonderful interpretation of it in your own wonderful style.
it is - one of the smaller baleen whales
*adds to the list* :)
What's the whale start with?
I put a picture of an inia up at Crossword Bebop yesterday, that was in yesterday's Babble...
Did you see the latest effort? It severely hampered my Babble efforts a few days ago! http://www.deviantart.com/devi ation/31424463/
S, amanda. and its plural whales
I couldn't resist when I saw the words "hairy snout"
Ah, that one - had it already. That's one on my list of "no idea what it means but babble always takes it" - thought it had something to do with earthquakes!
Good morning everyone.
morning Eva
morning eva :)
and morning Merp!
morning Eva and merp!
Merp says mrrrrp to you to. Has not yet vomited or bitten or pulled over any plants this morning. Being suspiciously patient. Wonder what surprises await me downstairs.
cliffopa-I don't think you can possibly hate re's as much as I do!
ahhhh - that slightly uneasy feeling when you just *know* something unpleasant is waiting for you ...
Good morning to all
how many REs are there?
And it is mandatory to step in whatever it is with bare feet.
oh? i think i'm right up there with the top re-haters.
of course! preferably in the dark for extra effect
33 re's
cliff-is that your cat?
Hi all :) 33 re words today :/
there are..... 32 re's! Love the pic Atalante, Hi eva and Merp, Gotta run BBL got work to do.
urf. 9 to go then
hi Chessy. Haven't seen you and your beautiful globe thistle in a long time.
Good morning sheryl! The Manolo would love the shoes. They are super-fantastic!
it was one of my mom's. his name was "Mr. Cat" but i've changed over to today's theme of shoes. refresh.
What a gorgeous cat. Looks like an ocelot.
cool shoes, cliffopa!
Hi Eva :) It's a photo of a sea holly I took - love its blue flowers ...
Think I'll stay with the cats. Don't really have a thing for shoes. Is there a specific scientific term for shoe fetishism?
eva - Mr. Cat's fur was very odd. felt like a wild animals, coarse. we used to wonder if he had something wild in his lineage.
3 re's to go
Never heard of a sea holly before. It looks just like a globe thistle. Is it a water plant?
Eva - also known as eryngium - not a water plant, but does look like a thistle ...
Oh, wait...I'm receiving a message from Karl on my implant chip...
that sea holly is pretty cool...
thanx Douglas :)
REs done. Phew!
wow . . . kudos, atalante
86 left to go and gotten very sluggish. Off to feed Merp and take a walk. Not very inviting out there this morning. Back on with the hat, mittens, boots, scarf. But I've never seen as many robins as this year. Flocks of 20-30 all in one place. Can't wait for the peepers to start up.
yay atlante!!!
now just to rest to go LOL! *groans*
eva, re the robins, don't you think they get bigger and fatter every year?!
the robins have invaded my neighborhood too. about 40-50 in my back yard right now.
just so I can be thouroughly depressed....how many re's are there Atalante? Don't want to look at the lists yet.
32 apparently (though there are rumours of 33). I've heard 32 more though
well, I'm hoping there's 32! Haven't looked at the list to confirm
Groan. only 12 to go then
but for once there aren't any weird weird RE words. stupid ones, yes, but nothing utterly out of the ordinary
i don't even have half the re's yet. did i already say i hate re's :(
Merp looks out at the birds and does that wonderful ack, ack, ack, ack thing they do when the blood lust is just too much to contain.
*melts* I love it when they do that!
speaking of stupid-I think the reresay (wasnt that a word a few weeks ago) really took the cake!
oh eva, i miss that cat chatter. the 2 i have actually do the growly-whine thing. kinda scary.
Not that we live vicariously through our cats. Heaven forfend!
I can never believe resit isn't allowed. Its SO obviously a word
hear hear Atalante, I can only assume it's hyphenated ...
Then there's the middle of the night gutteral, "I've got a dead thing in my mouth" hunting victory cry which lets you know you'd better wake up quick or whatever it is will get consumed on the bed.
or dropped on your chin as a present
Ah, Atalante is in the anger stage regarding the ENABLE dictionary...
EWWWWWW! really?
You know, this is not making me longingly yearn to own a cat...
i have a big himalayan male who doesn't know how to speak real cat. he says oooooww. trying to teach him the me part, but he's kinda old. 15 now.
I'm in the denial stage...if I chat about cats for long enough the re's will enter themselves.
one of my cats once brought me some rabbit intestines in the middle of the night as a present. I woke up with slimy cold stuff on me
that's a pretty awesome cat if he killed a rabbit.
Lol Eva ...let us know if it works!
he came off better in a fight with a fox once. says everything! he was a big, vicious ginger tom who turned into a kitten around me
i don't have to deal with dead bodies anymore 'cause my cats don't go out. a coyote ate one of mine 3 years ago so i keep them inside.
Go for it Douglas! That's extreme Atalante! Some breeds have strange vocalization patterns. Siamese are known, of course, for never shutting up, and Maine coons, of which Merp is partially, often have very small meows for their large girth. ooowwww sounds quite nice to me.
my kitten - who is still tiny - has the loudest voice ever. she is half burmese, and has certainly inherited her mother's burmese howl
Merp stays inside too because of the coyotes, but gets the poor things which come into the house. I should hang up a sign in mouse saying "Abandon all hope, all ye who enter here".
the oooooowwww doesn't sound too good in the middle of the night when he (beethoven) is angry that the other (zoey) is sleeping with me. scares the cr** out of me!
Would a cat eat a vo 4/7?
yes. and then probably throw up, at least some voles are pretty toxic
yes douglas, but probably just the insides.
*lola wades in through all the cat chat*...Hi guys! : )
Oh, now I know what you mean by the ooww sound. yes, quite eerie. Okay, Merp has given up on the patience and is yowling. Time to really go.
I want a venti...
hi lola. have you been lurking or working?
Hola lola :)
hi lola, what you gonna do in those shoes?
bye eva.
Hi cliff! lol, I've been doing laundry and sorting my music on my pc out : )
Hi chessy : ) Hi douglas. Ummm, are you seeing the pink ones?
Yes, there seem to be some inspired shoes among the cat chat...
I just got se 8/40...woo-hoo!
douglas, well in these pink ones I'm gonna kick back and babble. I have some very sexy boots for later though ; )
i'm procrastinating today. i'm having 20+ people over tomorrow for a going-away party for my son and i'm still in my jammies! and its 8 am! damn this babble addiction!
would some-one pls let me know of there are any j words ..thnx
no J words today : )
noo j's today
No j words, according to Babbler's Anonymous
Oh douglas, you HAVE to go pro for the stats programme! : )
any help on the first si7/28? is it a common word or some fungus or chemical or something?
sorry amanda, just started and haven't got there yet : /
For you lola, I have upgraded to pro...
Lola - what sort of influence do you have? Men just seem to do your bidding!
Woot! You've made my day douglas! *lola pours douglas a glass of babble champers*
haz, LOL!!! I wish!...but douglas could be a woman...: )
It was those shoes...I have a quarter of the words...good morning, or evening,
Douglas - shoe fetishist. So now we know. Good morning/afternoon to you.
douglas, now you have to get yourself a handbag (mainly so that the nosey players...i.e. ME!, can see more about you) : )
si7 - change round the letters of mathematical si4/4 and add a chemical type ending
Thanks haz! Great clue : )
Yay Haz! Thanks - was tired of trying to monkey it!
You're welcome.
morning all flying along here and then hit the h's can someone give a clue for the 7 pls
Just found the pe5/12 & pe7/32...... Had to "tackle" those for a while......LOL
the he 7 that is lol
naughty naughty
he7 looks like a collection of French men! It's a French man's name, pluralised with an e for good measure.
goodness, my tummy is rumbling. Going to grab some lunch, back in a bit : )
ty haz got it
mmmm lunch! good idea lola. be back soon!
Good - the scientists among us may recognise it as a unit of inductance.
re's and te's getting to me. housework is looking better and better so i think i'll give that a try for a while. bbl.
good mornin' mmm in cc
see you later cliff
i love the icon's today must admit i have a shoe fetish, can't walk by a shoe store without going in and nine out of ten times a find a pair of shoes i have to buy
i just realsied what the picture theme was! so here is my effort!
VERY nice, bex!
thanks yours are very nice too!
:-D
morning!
Hello dear gang :)
morning, angel :-)
hey sprite
Hi Angel! Nice shoes! I've been waiting for you! I've got a small Firefox problem - think you might be able to help?
I'm back...hi sprite! : )
*hugs*
what's the problem, amandacath?
Sprite, have you had any of the new squeezy hugs yet?? {{{{{{sprite}}}}}} : )
The other day I managed to shove my floating QuickNote off the side of my screen, and I can't get it back. It happened once before, so I know there's some way, but I can't remember how I did it!
have you tried opening Quicknote from the Tools menu?
Wow lola, that was some hug! :D
that's how i always open it
...thought you might need extra to catch up : )
I did :) Thanks!
Never mind! The old trick - ask a question and you remember the answer.
over two hundred words, yippee skippee day!
Heeey evaN! : )
how's eveyone doing today? Sure glad its the weekend
there sure are some sexy shoes in here, my cats don't fit in.
I love your cats evaN! : )
angel i didn't get the email with the link to your page, have you had a chance to get to it yet
Yeah, but your feet fit in them better!
diversity, eva!
thanks lola, picked them for babbler, hope she gets to see them!
evaN, they make me want to go striding out across the soggy marshes! : )
At least my favorite P word is in here. And the plural :)
sprite, I hope you mean the kind chap who carries your suitcase in the posh hotel! ; )
lola, actually had to go buy some boots, been walking in the woods and keep twisting my stinking ankle - but i couldn't afford cats - brb, i gotta cut up som strawberries.
Well errrr, no, not exactly, but you are close :) I am sure he's got one.
LOL! Sprite, behave! I can't get into trouble today! : D
Actually I started to worry about myself after finding those two first of all :)
lol, I started to worry when I found the lo4/7 last! : D
LOL! You did NOT! :)
...but the P words do kinda jump out at you, don't they? ; )
er...not last, first!
Rising to the occasion maybe?
You've got to be kidding - realtor is trademarked but that ne8 isn't?
can someone pls give a clue for the po 8 the second one pls
depends which way you make it sprite ; )
Well, that would depend on the position, of course!
Sprite! LOL! : D
the po4, 7, 7, 8 all go together - the thing, making it 2x, and the one who makes it - if that makes any sense at all
hi all
Hi gem : )
hi lola you ok?
amanda, I agree! Don't forget the Ne9 while you're at it.
amanda must have made sense because i got it, lol
yes thanks, and you? How's the revision going?
does highlighting things count as revision?
Sure it does!
of course!...did you use pink hi-lighter though??
yay thats good then jks
mmmm, strawberries...
200 words left to find, gah
I am pretty sure I am barking up the wrong Po4 tree, because I can only find one 6/7 "doing it" combo there.
amandacath, I was away changing profiles. how did you open QuickNote?
is the po4 in that combo the person who writes verse?
Lol, thanks. No, it was the ruby or tawny one. :) Now I got them, pfui.
Ok, I'll try again: the po4/5 you've got, right? When he/she goes about his/her business, then he/she po8/45, or they po7/32 When he/she is going about his/her business, then he/she is a po8/45
So it's 4-7-8-8 and not 7x2? In that case I got them all, thanks :)
Umm, let's see if I can explain it - when it's off the screen and I right click on it in the bottom bar, I get the extensions for something to do with my monitor, then I can "send to" my monitor - and boing, it's back where it's supposed to be
Yes Sprite, you're right - I knew I'd make a mistake in there somewhere
thanks amanda : )
Thanks! :D
clues for the 9's?
uugh! these RE's are...revolting!
funny, i thought petro was a word, must be local slang.
R9 people who are very sorry N9 fabrics that keep you warm when wet
'nut, you may be thinking of petrol.
Should have been called 'petrovol'. Just 'cause.
well, no, actually, the hubbynut and i say petro - maybe we just made it up - i dunno.
message for jean thanks love got it
Now sprite, you can't make up words. Only Dr God can do that! ; )
lane said a word!
lain posted a wo-ord, lain posted a wo-ord ;)
sprite, I don't get the Ne9 clue at all. do you have another?
Are you two going to force me to use the mommy voice??
no problem iain glad to help
Angel - the suits divers wear are made of the ne8-9 combo
funny, but i keep feeling like porn should be in this puzzle, alas, it isn't there.
angel, sounds like 'Finding Ne**' (pixar film about fish) without the third letter and what a bird does to keep clean : )
nut, lol! Me too! : D
I want envelope!
have that ne 9 and the re9, which other am I missing?
et9/54
Lola, that's NOT fair! I was even thinking about a beautiful R9 for putting back my favorite Ps... Angel, start with 'new' and then 'before' and then two more that won't give you any trouble anymore.
but porn would be so much more interesting - we should petition dr-g for one dirty word per puzzle.
there's an et 8-9 combo that I'm working on
nut, that's a fab idea! : D
Got it - to make something last forever?
Actually, 'porn' is in the grids quite often :)
oh boy - two grey boxes, granted easy little greys, but grey none the less!
sprite, my mind is boggling 8 )
stuck on the pr 7 can someone give a clue pls, i'm afraid to go on to the re's lol
Way to go, e'nut :)
Do pe5/12 and pe7/32 count?
what's the theme today? shoes?
I'm keeping my lemons!
pr 7 is a child aged between 0 and 12
right you are bookery
Nah, they sound too scientifically.
any hints re words begining with j can't seem to make any?
amandacath, there's also a 6 in that same area.
Jean - there aren't any words beginning with 'j'.....
hey movieman! : )
Well, there are, but not in this grid.
ty haz
thanx movieman
Finished! Anyone need anything?
I still need pretty much everything :) Congrats on finishing.
Woot! Well done amanda! : )
amanda need the re 7
pr7 = pr = 2 vowel = t4/4 anyone thave a clue for or5/10?
Which one of the 6 of them, Sheryl?
all of them, lol
that should be pr + 2nd vowel + t4/4
The or5/10 - maybe it's short for birdwatchers?
haven't really started the re's just looking at the list and losing my mind
or5/10 add anagram of sin
ty Haz

Peri, I'm fighting with it right now. Any clues?
any clues for the er 5?
'morning, 'nut!
Hey all! I made myself finish the evil re's before chatting... that was tough!
artlady, he7- plural of a man's name - who knew

en6 = comes in any clues for in 7/28 (I have one, need the 2nd)?
jera! how ya doin bud?
oh peri, that's weird! Thanks!
thank you ylleria!
I have no IN words yet
hey art lady - taking a break from cleaning - i'm doing the drives my husband crazy type cleaning.
Pretty good... tired from being up half the night with Gwyd & his ear infection... but had a bath with my mint soap & feel quite refreshed!
I guess if I knew my electrical theory better I'd have known that one... ;-)
artlady, your'e welcome glad to help
oh 'nut. Cleaning is against everything I stand for.
poor gwyd!
One "in" is to bury, one works in a hospital
Well, not quite everything. I just hate to take time away from the really important things to clean...like Sudoku (done) and Babble!
hey peri - try in 5/10 - sort of dead
thanks, Jera
Yeah, he was pretty out of it all day yesterday, too... got some new meds & the doctor is putting him on claritin at night.
hmmm, this is a go round where i get all those things that my poor eyes are drawn to - the vent on the oven door, the inside if the fridge handle, the seal around the fridge and the dishwasher - its a q tip kind of day.
I have never finished a suduko, though I've tried many times... guess I'm not alone, though!
er 5, anyone?
ThIs GaMe Is KiNdA AdDiCTInG! Lol
oh 'nut. You are on a cleaning jag. I did the oven/fridge/floors last weekend. It did feel good!
whats the sudoku level today? i never did look at yesterdays.
Jera, I got hooked altho I resisted for months. There's a huge group at my school addicted, but most do the paper version.
Medium nut. But it's really easy.
sorry natsha, yeah. i was wondering how difficult it is to type like that, and yes, this game is addicting.
artlady, kinda grosses you out to see all that gunk, doesn't it? i have to figure out how to get the can opener apart now.
er5 = think of the parts or sections of a song, then drop the first letter
I just buy a new canopener... they are cheap enough to replace once a year...
Oh ItS nOt All THaT DiFfIcULt To TyPe LiKe THiS YoU GeT UsE To It AfTer YoU Do It OfTeN My FrIEnd BeCkY Is ReAllY GooD At TypInG LiKe ThiS YoU GoT To HAVe A BenDaBle PiNkY FoR THe ShIfT KeY ThOuGh Lol
jera, that's true, except mine is under the counter, and it took hubbynut four hours to figure out how to mount it, so i'm not keen on going through that process again as i am resident helper.
so long as your not going out of your way on our behalf natasha
The only problem is, Natasha, it's really hard for some of us to read... :-)
last he6/21?
okay, i'm going to spend some more quality time with the q tips.
peri, as opposed to ho**..refering to gender. Help on the he 7?
yeah my friend jordan doesnt like it when i type like that so i guess i will stop for you guys i type a lot faster when i am not doing it that way you should see my myspace ci have a mix of it
have fun, 'nut
Hey, Natasha, nice to read you! Welcome, btw.
That is so cool, my grandmother had a wall mounted can opener... I always liked that style. My counter space is precious, so I'd love a wall mount one!
lol thanks i just type like that so i am different
a big si 5/10 goes off when I see writing like that natasha, and it makes me want to drink te 7/32
he7 more than one Mr. Winklers
I am working backwards today... only on the te's... but I have lots scattered about, of course...
artlady, don't get your clue, I gave a hint for the he7 a little while ago for you and thought you got it, check your list
Duh. I already had it. Great clue mac!
yes, peri. momentary madness here....
I need to buy some more q-tips, they are going fast with both the Sprite & me getting our ears pierced this week...
lol, thanks artlady :)
I want to spell veneer so bad... now I have so I should feel better...
time for a break, bbl
ttfn, peri
ok, le 4/5 is German!
artlady - round one goes to the can opener - i can't get the *&%&(ing blade off.
stick to babbling, stick to babbling...
'nut, you've been sent a message...
eh?
no, no, i can beat it. it's just a bit of plastic, metal and wire, i'm much more advanced than it.
a cleaning message, nut. If the canopener won't cooperate it must mean you should babble instead.
Is it worth it???
Ok, i have to make some coffee and tend to my sick daughter. It's so nice she came home from school for the weekend to share her cold with us...
re6/21
hi all still don't feel so good it's my neck thats done it .I've got a lump on it .My mum recons it is a swolen glan :o(

how many words in total today
207!
Roncook, I LOVE your icon!!
Hello, all.
good morning, good morning! cool icons today!
morning stidmama -- it's boots/shoes day! Yippee!
Good Afternoon Babblers has anyone got ro4/4 Pleaseeeeeeeee
"parker house" ro** (sic)
hi norma ... ro4/4 ... like ro** playing
ch1212 -- that is the funniest piece of footwear i've ever seen! where did you find it?
ch1212 - thanks I feel a bit stupid I totally ignored the R at the top of the grid - thanks
okay, i have 99 words without a clue list -- should i go ahead and make my day easier, or... ??
stidmama, you must not be old enough to remember GO GO BOOTS! I wanted a pair so bad when I was about 13 or 14. Nancy Sinatra sang the original "Boots are made for walkin" and wore them. :)
oh -- is _that_ what the song is about? I always thought they were about hiking boots... and yes, i just missed out on go-go boots, born 1966.
roncook..? huh? ne8/45
stidmama: 66 is my year too. but i had a jr.high teacher that was all about gogo boots. not pretty.
LOL stidmama ... no, hiking boots are what is featured in John Denver's "You Done Stomped On My Heart, and Mashed That Sucker Flat" (no kidding!)
roncook -- i got it! fig-- it's that fake leather/rubber, synthetic stuff, i think they make wetsuits out of it?
fig: ne 8/9 is the material used in making wet suits for diving.
HOW COULD I MISS THAT???OY1
and of course, there is a 9 (plural) after the ne 8
a good plural makes my day. sometimes miss those classical plurals fromlatin...training the brain...
ch1212 I remember go-go boots & the Sinatra song. Guess that makes me officially... OLD!
not old...experienced.
lol, thanks fig, that does have a nicer ring to it ;)
oh no macuser... just 'seasoned' :)
Well, that's it for me... can I help anyone?
yep, as I keep reminding my husband who is two months and three days older than me... and who just turned 4 decades -- he is OLD and I remain young! for another couple months, anyway!
YAY Jera!
Congrats Jera!! How about a clue for the 3rd pe7/32?
seasoned is nice too :)
gotta hit a yoga class. see ya'll later...(bend, twist, breathe).
later, fig!
It sounds kind of like a shampoo... don't hate me because I'm beautiful, remember that one? but pe rather than pa to start
Bye fig
pe 7/32 pl. of an organ
okay, off to print my list... BRB
'and one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you. chu chu chu chu chu chu chu chu' (just singing, not directed at anyone in particular)
thanks jera, that was a pef*** clue!
are you ready, boots? start walkin, baby!
are ya ready boots? (joining in with mab)
lol-I couldn't think of an organ that started with pe...I aksed my husband and he got it without batting an eye! And he's usually terrible at Babble!
I wasn't sure, but I try to be clever... happy to help!
and temple owl
*still thinking about that organ*
Hello everyone! Any hints on the pr7/32?
Greetings All! I'm working on the Ss. I am missing one Si7/28. It is the very first Si word. Can someone please help me? Thanks.
lol, now that song is going to be stuck in my head all day ;)
'star walkin - du du, du du du, du, etc'
minski -- scandalous icon! good morning!
never mind! : D
pr7/32 someone between the ages of 1 & 12
Okay, gotta scoot... my pr7/32 daughter wants some puter time, so I'm off to hold my sick little boy & watch some Star Trek TNG DVD...
HEE HEE! I googled sexy shoes and boots as soon as I heard today's theme. Couldn't resist.
Never mind!
you go, jera!
bye jera! and hi everyone! what is the theme?
So how about that Si7/28? Does anyone have it?
Hope to return to chat & be sociable... *poof*
have fun, Jera, hope your "baby" feels better soon!
The s words are out of control today!
My icon is wearing shoes, you just can't see them.
aren't pe5 and 7 bad words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
si7/28 si + 2nd vowel + opposite of day
No Freckle, that is the proper word for the organ.
freckle, depends on what you mean by "bad." they're scientific words, but they're not slangy.
THanks mac!
You're welcome, minski :)
otoh, there are a lot of scientific words that I wouldn't care to discuss during dinner...
hello everyone... I see I'm arriving amidst a conversation about one of "those" words... timing!
If we begin to list the other words for pe5, etc., we will never come to the end of it.
*gulp* I just saw the list of re's. Slightly overwhelming, yes?
lol mab... I could say something about your comment, but I'll refrain ;)
macuser... I was thinking the same way & voted for restraint as well !
I just started & will have to dash soon but I did find the po 7/32 & following 2 8/45s, anyone need clues?
darn. can't provoke anyone.
8 /45's would be useful
peester, the cluse for the 8s would be much appreciated! ((hi))
wow! hey, when'd you guys come in!
mab, I was actually trying to think of brands of organs that start with P... (Forgive me, I'm in the middle of the Holy Week Music Vortex....3 practices today, for example) So I was thinking, Hammond? Hohner? Pipe Organ? lol.....
mab, i live in a household of males... i hear so many variations of potty mouth words... :-P
harp, don't forget Piano... i mean, not technically an organ, but good for practice (if you don't have access to the real thing, hammer away on a good substitute, right?)
I am missing the last 2 S words. They are the se 8/ 40 se 5/ 10 Could someone please help? THanks.
okay folks, my te** is going to sit in with me and help find words... fair warning!
po 8/45s.... if you have po 7/32, just add r for one and s for the other,if you don't have it: take the po 4/5 word for person who writes verse and turn it into a verb with ending like to publicize or adver****
grigs!
what? we were talking about music! *innocentface*
hi ho back for more!
se8/40 Someone who stands guard
it's asking too much to ignore a setup like that, really it is *appeals to mab's better nature*
hey art lady - again
Diane Keaton: "You're the greatest lover I've ever had!" Woody Allen: "I practice a lot when I'm alone...." I'm quitting now before I get worse...
harpie! * rolls eyes *
How's the cleaning going, 'nut?
well artlady, i'm still baffled by the can opener, but i conquered the toaster and the inside of the microwave.
lol harp! Is that from Annie Hall?
Love and Death, actually.
ok, why is neither p (lo4/7)r (a bird) nor revolve in this puzzle? it mocks me with seeing the words that are not there. Anybody got a name yet for this syndrome?
hello all. working away here with only 88 to go. Somehow I don't think that I will finish today's puzzle.
Woody: "Do you find me attractive as a man?" Diane: "I think that's your best bet..."
griggs... how about "disbabblia" ?
THanks mac. Got the 8. I"m missing one of the last 3 Se5 words but I'm not sure which one. I have the currency and teh bird.
Play it Again Sam?
ooh, peester, i like that one! any reason you used dis- instead of dys- ?
Love and Death again, I think.
hey mab, your favorite shoe is back
Hi BBNAZ! This is Stidmama's eldest. How is Spring Break going so far?
i would have thought disenbabblement
oh, hurshy, I do covet those shoes.
le7?
I got it! I got it! Done with the S words. On to the Rs.....
le7 some parents are too le***** with their children
grigs, yes... sounded more anti than medical... the medical words always tick me off
le - not strict.
Angelsong, killer (literally) shoes! did you get the file i tried to send last night? hey all, say hi to Matthew -- my elder kid, he's helping me today!
evanonut, you're right!!! more points!!!
hm, where I was thinking medical, as in "I have dysbabblia"
Hi, Matthew...
Hi Matthew
Hi there, Matthew.
hiya matthew!
Hi Matthew :)
peester, you'll find i'm often right.
hi matthew... here's where all of your reading pays off
i just had a moment of brilliance... he has his own "box" to play from... BRB!
Welcome, Matthew.
THe REs are ridiculous! I won't skip them though.....I won't skip them...........I won't skip them.....
evanonut, now all I can think of is "that's di 14/??, so what's the ??"
eva... I wouldn't argue with big honkin' boots like those!
i have one last s...si 7/28 the 1st one...can anyone help please?
You can do it, Minski. I'm finishing the p's, then on to those pesky r's
si 7/28: google
shoes again... afternoon all :D
si7/28 si + 2nd vowel + opposite of day
To quote a previous hint Si + 2nd vowel + opposite of day
si 7/28: google this: igneous rock composed primarily of alkali feldspar together with other minerals, such as hornblende
ty macuser...got it
sorry...cat wanted to enter his own words
okay, Matthew is coming on in a moment as stidmatt... then he can find his own words!
You're welcome kim :)
ve5/16?
peester: a person of uncommon intelligence - almost nut like intelligence.
i am frustrated by the o in the top left corner. I have two already -- "east" and rocks that are dug up for what they contain... what is the other, please?
VE5/16 Like John L from The Beatles
o 6/21 opp of occident
ve5/16 ve + author Anais ***
stid try the consonant after "m" then add the third vowel followed by the plural consonant
Harp, but spell John L's last name like the communist L (sounds the same)
hello all back at it to try and put a dent in those re's lol
been working on the "he" words so long that it is started to look like: hehehehehehehehehehe maybe i should approach those "re" words?
Hey 'nut! How's it going?
thanks all -- got that pesky "o" -- now back to the e words...
chic! my favorite fairytale of all time! adventure, intelligence and cute fuzzy critters!
Hi stid!
I'm diving into the grid, see you later and good babbleluck to everyone (eva...must be from inhaling peanut fumes 24/7, smuckers p-butter is made here)
Hi Chic!
rerererere....yes, they are annoying!
MS Artlady, how are you doing?
Hi, all, back for more - te8/40 and te8/45 anyone?
stidmatt -- are you there yet? [proud mama -- her kid has his own screen name]
chix de clix!
te8/40 even more of te5/10
Yeah Mom, I'm here, not doing very well though.
stidmama, sent you an e mail.
'nut, have you talked to Ren yet? I got IM now and was up late, late with the crew....fun stuff....
te8/45 is the plural of te7/32
that's okay sweetie, it gets easier with time. the people in the chat log are good at giving clues, you have the list of starting letters... see if you can get 50 words today, and don't worry about getting "all" the words just yet.
no chix - got an email day or two ago, almost promised to make it in today - i'm suffering from ren withdrawel!
macuser, don't have the te7/28 clue please
chix, im? you mean aol im, msn im, or yahoo im?
Hang in there stidmatt. It takes a while.
we're going to play literati today and I think she was going to ask you to join us...
te7/32 def... Any of various unsaturated hydrocarbons, C10H16, found in essential oils and oleoresins of plants such as conifers and used in organic syntheses.
oooooooh! sounds like fun, i'll get my butt kicked, mamabear always kicks my butt at literati
yahoo
Chic, doing well. Daughter's home from college for the weekend. It's so sweet she brought a dratted COLD with her! I just got over a spell of illness and don't want her to share that with me!
Hi everybody this is a hard grid
macuser, great clue but have no idea what you are talking about, will have to goggle the definition
are you chic in yahoo? i'm not nut in yahoo, i'm evanofan
someone please explain to me how re** (attaches to horse's bit) and the plural of the same are acceptable but not re**ER? Afterall, who is controlling those pesky things? grumble grumble
hey bigword!!
artlady, I'm staying away from all my friends that have whatever it is that's going around. Don't want it!
bbnaz, I agree!
Hey belize
The one who re*** should be the -er!
'nut, how can I get you on my list? Want to put my email address in my profile for a few min.?
ok, macuser, you know when you google that you get research on female... uh... response?
Chic, hard to stay away from my daughter... ;-)
yes chic, you do that, then i'll send you the little invite thingy.
The sudoku today was soooo much easier than this!
grigs: look at the first entry you get.
ok, go.
(there she goes, coughing and coughing and she won't take cough medicine....my daughter, that is. Oh to be 19 and know everything)
lol, sorry grig... try this... think of a STD, he*** but replace the first letter + the joint between the hip and foot
Artlady, maybe she'd take some hot lemon tea with honey....soothing...
lol chic, it's nice to have your email, but i meant your yahoo profile name!
macuser - not following - am i wrong in assuming you are referring to herpes?
Thanks chic. I did make her some tea. Reptine should be a word. It LOOKS like a word!
Angelsong, just sent you an email -- argh... (again)
oh, wait, i got it now!
Hi hurshy... yes - take off the 's' too
ok, I'm new at this stuff. But I thought if you put in my email you'd get it. That's how I got Ren.
okay i am really going nutz now.............gaaaaaah
DONE...anyone need a clue??
never went about it that way, i could try i suppose.
YAY Owachita!
Congrats Ouwa!
Well done Ouwachita!!!
68 for me still. don't think it can happen today
got it chic, hang on
lol
okay chic, check your messenger
LE 7, 18 would be appreciated!
le7/28...going easy on someone
parents who are too le7/27 with their children sometimes spoil them
sorry, le 7/28!
don't know le 7/18, but le 7/28 means to go easy on someone -- opposite of strict...
both ve7/40 please
peri, i have one...the plural of someone who blows off steam...
can someone give a clue for the te 7 pls the last one on the list
okay, i'm going to disappear for a while and copy words onto my paper list... BBL
ve7/40 ve + the number after eights
thank you very much and since i am disbabblia on the clues, maybe I meant to type LE5,12?
thanks got both ve7
person with skin disease that eventually can make limbs fall off
thanks Hurshy, I have that one. I am looking for the first 5,12 or the LE 4,5 first one
i don't have the list so you are helping me more than i am helping you :)
2nd ve6/27?
got those r's!
le4/5 le + the abbreviation for 60 minutes, then plural
or le 4/5 like cowardly lion actor but change vowel :)
2nd ve6/27 is singular of the 7/40
artlady you got r's can you give them to me, lol
then I am missing the first ve6/27
similar to when you rant. the person is the ve****
es 4/4, anyone?
Sure Sheryl, what do you need? (short pause while I get my coffee)
es4/4 same 2 letters ;)
Thanks Hursh. that would make the 5,12 the plural of that so now my LE words are done.
repeat, ylleria
need the first re 7 pls
ah, mac, you're always one step ahead of me
to go back inside
Thanks hurshy. Any idea what it means?
I think my toe is broken. meh.
no, sorry ylleria - does the ? say no def? so sorry to hear that holly!!!
holly bug! broken toe? just cut it off, you still have four more.
Sheryl, to go back in...add re to your en 5/10
ty bb but i have that one must be the next 7
lol nut - you sound like my sister.
lol hurshy... it's an anomaly... you're usually way ahead of me
have more than half, time for another break
Holly, which one? When I broke my pinkie toe it was just taped to the one next to it. Hurt like crazy, tho!
to bury again, then, sheryl?
hursh, your sister sounds like a lovely and intelligent woman then.
ty hurshy
sorry to hear Holly.. I broke my pinkie toe and it still looks gnarly
lol, that she is. but what it reminded me of was when i called her earlier this year to tell her that this other teacher was sitting in on my class (just for fun and bc his class met there before mine) and making me nervous, and what should i do? and she said "punch him in the face!"
sounds like an excellent lesson on resolving issues to me.
well, it made me feel a lot better than if she had just been sympathetic and said, oh, i don't know, that is a hard situation. :)
precisely, now all you have to do is if he's there and you get all nervous, just imagine you've socked him once and are carrying on with your lesson... and if that doesn't work, picture him in a speedo
ick! actually, nut, i eventually switched classrooms :)
HE 7,32 (first one) HE 6,21 (last one) any help please? I will hammer on that silly second HE4,5
Too bad, hurshy. No one wants my classroom, fortunately!
And our staff is almost exclusively female, which is not necessarily a good thing...
he 6 is a narcotic
he7 more than one Mr. Winkler
what kind of school are you at, artlady?
Grrrr... ok, help? I'm stuck on a group of se's... Starting after the 3rd se4, I need se 5/10, 6/18, and the next se4. Not the one as in the past tense of mailing something (which is the next se 4).
he6 a person who is attracted to the opposite sex
Thanks macuser.
Public elementary school in a Chicago suburb, K-5
Hi, again. Back from buying cat food and other hunting and gathering.
Thank you mac and mab. I have the narcotic HE, I am looking for the last HE and the second HE 4,5
Dr. G and his brother were my students...years ago!
The Se 5/10 is the plural of a Se 4/4.
lol, private boys' boarding high school in very rural CT - couldn't be more opposite!
( my sad little claim to fame...)
You're welcome mab :)
wow, that's cool artlady!
artlady, i agree that a primarily female staff is not a good thing. our staff is primarily female - and we are a viscous backstabbing lot.
viscous? he he
True, but my school is in a very nice area.
Anyone miss me while I was away?!!!!
artlady, add an e to the 4 you have, then make it a person who does for the 6, and then the following 4 is a homonym of viewed
Before Kids I taught in a primarily female staff that was totally awesome and supportive!
oh, movieman - that is the icon i used on the first shoe day!
Yes, 'nut. I just mind my own business and do what is important. Work with my students. Outside of school I'm very active, but my staff is pretty clique-y. Don't care for it!
movieman -- you were gone? :-) *back to lurk mode*
ok so can i assume from earlier reference to "first he7" that there are 2 he7s?
Yep, stid, went and watched a DVD..... Fritz Lang's Metropolis.....
Hurshy, I have the se 4 that is a homonym for viewed. I just can't get the next 3 in the list. Brain spasms...
backstabbing AND sticky? Oh, nut. I hate gossip in workplace; the psych hospital I last worked at was terrible, the men were worse than the women, I think. I think it was because they were taken more seriously.
hurshy... just one he7
can't monkey type that last he 6/21 anymore any clues pls
hurshy, i am suffering from "disbabblia" so don't mind my chaos.............confusion... ..........inability to properly count.
hmm... well, i still think maybe my 5 and 6 clues will get you those - from the 4 before the homonym
Sheryl... I gave a clue for it at 12:39
He 6/21 is the prefix for straight (sexually speaking)
it's kill or be killed where i work. everyone doing everything they can to make the others look bad, trying for the glorious promotion. lucky for me, i either have been keeping my nose clean, or receive enough pity to stay out of it.
sheryl, not a homosexual but a he****
I've been teaching 30 years and don't feel like it (fortunately for my students!). Unfortunately, many of the younger staff (sorry if I offend anyone, but it's my experience) are into their own thing only. Many of them can't see the larger picture.
ty mas and bb
big picture: improvement of young minds?
Don't have to worry about promotions. I'm department chair! Altho, there are only one or two of us art people per school. The department is district-wide. The art people are a decent group (if I say so myself!)
I think art teachers (if I do say so myself) are peculiarly well-suited for seeing the larger picture. We have ( or should have) a habit of integrating all the parts of life.
I would so love to teach art history at the high school level, public. I'm sure it's not a priority subject, especially with the no child left behind initiative.
being artistic, i must say that you two are probably correct.
i have an academically gifted teenager and an academically gifted mentally disabled soon to be teenager. i have plenty of thoughts on both aspects of their teachers (and have subbed myself but not a full time teacher)
*to be teen
Anyone got the other two 9's apart from the plural of the ne8/45? If so, clue me up plz.....
ooh bbnaz typed a word *shh_- i won't tell*
Hear hear, Vicuna!! Hurshy, I have the se's relating to collecting minnows (used to do that as a kid!)...it's later on. AACK!
bb typed a word bb typed a wo-o-o-o-o-ord!
disbabblia strikes again in the passion of the thought....oops
I'm just glad they're still offering art in schools... they've pretty much eliminated music from the curriculum
mab, you're right. Our children are being shortchanged. The difference in my district is really sad, although we still have art. I do a lot of art history integrated into art production, history, science...any way i can!
more than once even
eliminating music is WRONG...and this from someone who wouldn't take music.
both our sons do well academically -- one has some difficulties with physical things and social interactions that the school administration is often unwilling to address proactively. BUT i have so much respect for the teachers, who are so kind and gracious and helpful, and THANK YOU to all who have the strength and courage to teach our children!
i have an re9, pl of re8
fortunately both the privately educated and the publicly educated disabled one both have received excellent musical education along with very comprehensive art too
oh then i guess i am missing them too - unless you are misreading your list?
hursh, clue me up with the re8 then.....
person who is sorry
need to pay MORE money to teachers, merit based, so as to keep the best and the brightest teaching our future.
wilt thou clue ME up with the ne8? :) :) :)
You sound like a wonderful teacher arty. I think art and music are so terribly important. If I were a student today I think I would learn to hate school -- so much emphasis on The Test.
merit always turns into favortism unfortunately.
i am spinning my wheels on the list. off to play with other things for a while! Later, all!
Hursh - Google THIS!!!!!! "A synthetic rubber produced by polymerization of chloroprene and used in weather-resistant products, adhesives, shoe soles, sportswear, paints, and rocket fuels"
wahoo hurshy! thanks for those three biggies
sigh. ok.
bye, stid and Hello again, All!
see you later Stidmama
soon art lessons and music will come out of the parents pockets only, only the wealthy will have the rounded education.
chix de clix, how the hair look?
52 to go. maybe a break is in order?
personally i prefer an octagonal education
The hitch with merit-based pay for teachers is that it isn't so easy to judge merit. You can't point to the sales you made, the commisions you brought in, the product you produced...
lol. How about clues for the re8?
Ha! I knew what that was , Movieman...
maybe there needs to be less top heavy administration to free up budget monies for the classrooms?
can't survey students, or judge by scores
sorry but my oldest went to a private school and in her 8th grade year suffered in honors algebra because the engineer they hired to teach had no clue how to do it. what a ridiculous waste of her time and my money. fortunately for future students he wasn't offered another contract. don't get me wrong, he was brilliant, just no idea how to teach
bbl
Where I live, the stupid city govt. in their infinite wisdom (not) doubled everyone's real estate taxes and earmarked the money for schools. They built big new schools but didn't improve the education of the students one iota
Right then, that's two out of the three 9's..... What the hell is the other....... *Begins to tear hair out*
maybe a bit more teaching and a little less homework to cover what isn't being taught at school. I am a college grad with post educational studies. Husband holds an MSEE degree. I fared quite nicely in the public school system in Arizona in the 60s and 70s. Please tell me what went wrong since then? Other than the 60s and 70s I mean and the abdication of parental responsibility.
clue for the in 5/10 just before the 7; I have the land/sea thing
two re 8's -- only have the one that means one who regrets and it's plural
not moving or perhaps you mean the bumbling one?
chic did that help or confuse more?
Can I get some help with the in 7/28 and the second in 5/10?
other re8 - pl of re7 - people who lease
Cybernan, to bury again..........
i am way confused about the in situation and the se situation
oh that too - 3 re8's!
thanx, bb movieman there is et9 , re9, and ne9....
se 7/28 (following the french fisherman)
oops -- forgot the question mark -- was asking for a clue!
A public h.s. teacher friend teaches some of his classes in a trailor (trailer?). It seems difficult for governmental bodies to get anything approximately right. And then there are school districts that were good to begin with and were let alone. Quite a range...
Chic - any cluez for the et9......
to make last forever, movieman
Just got the et9 as you were posting, Hursh....
plural for the et8; goes on forever....
after the french fisherman--are the french fishermen
drat, which one is the french fisherman?
Ok, I'm back. Got a phone call from my friend who's going to Italy with me this summer. Woohoo!
abdication of parental responsibility pretty well sums it up i think.
ooo, lucky duck artlady, going to florence? that's where I'd like togo...
aha - artlady - french river and a bunch that build off it, is that what you need?
se 6/18: fisherman (think of the river that runs through Paris)
some help, perhaps--thereis the person who leases-re6/18, the people who lease- re 7/28, then there is an re 8/40 ??
well make it plural, cnan, make it plural!
Now, se's I have thru the 7/28 and the next 2 (6/18, 4/4) Need the next 5/10, 6/18, 4/4. The next 4/4 after than is the homonym for smell... I am giving up and moving on for a while, but I hate to leave loose ends!! ...help...?
oh rats!!!
gonna go now... need to get my taxes in order :/ Happy babbling everyone! :) Bye!
Oh, chic, Firenze, Venezia, Sorrento, Londra....I mean London... I was in Florence the first time last summer. Got the bug! Art, wine, culture, food, people, wine, art...
good luck mac. That's next on my list...
last se 8/40?
cybernan, I have that one and the person and the verb...
nan, one who stands guard
is there more than one se8/40?
se 8/40...one who stands guard. I have that one!
OMG - artlady! who would have thought that i'd left the protective plastic on one side of the dishwasher for 4 1/2 years!
se 8 one who stands guard
artlady, then you need the ones that sound like grab, and related - or else you need to recheck your list maybe you aren't missing any!
don't think so hurshy
phew
thanks art lady
grab?
the first si 7?
ROFL!!!! 'nut!!!!
you know, carpe diem and all that, artlady
just wanted to tell you artlady, i'm going to go finish cleaning the worlds dirtiest dishwasher.
it's some kind of mineral...think rock type ending, add a vowel after the si
Thanks artlady --- used in pottery glazes -- usually spelled sy___
40 to go and no list yet! this is the kind of puzzle i like. lots of normal words, with helpful e's and s's
hurshy, thanks so much, but I have that one, that's the 4th word on the se list. I'm sorry to be a pest...I have the 1st 4 se4's and the words between. I have the 6th se 4 and the words after...(embarassed look on face)..thanks for all your effort.
Oh cyb! I should have recognized that one! It's been many years since I did ceramic glaze formulations.
artlady, what i have been saying all along is that you need to add an e to that one, and then another letter for the six to make it a person
artladly, I used to throw pottery and fire my own stuff too!
woohoo thanks hursy for that clue I got it
Hurshy, you are fabulous. I just figured out I had one of the se4's in the wrong spot on my paper list and it totally threw me off. Got it!!! Kudos!!!
well that's a relief bc for a while there i thought i was completely crazy
HE 4,5 the second word, not the one dealing with estate
Nope. I had my se4 in the spot where the missing se 4 should go and geez that threw everything off. (Wipes beads of sweat from forehead...)
meanwhile i still need 4 s's myself :)
can someone help me with er 5/10?? please?
artlady - MORE protective plastic! i kid you not!
a poet writes ve6 (not in puzzle), take off the v
scribble, songs have ver*** (like chapters in a story)
'nut, I left the protective plastic on my laptop deliberately. My daughter keeps trying to pick it off, but I won't let her. I said it protects it! My laptop is 6 years old...
drop the "v"
bbl, have shower now...
thank you hurshy!!
* heads back to kitchen * maybe if i find enough protective plastic, it will be like having a brand new dishwasher.
nut you are too much :)
doesn't anybody have that pesky HE 4,5 word? the second one, not the first? begging here.
rhymes with money you pay for your apt every month
no sorry, it's like hi but w/o double cons.
bb, he 4/5...short term for whirly bird type of aircraft
and by hi i mean "hi!" not an hi word
prostrating self in gratitude for the help. TYVM now back to those pesky pe words before moving on to the re, se and si. kinda like do re mi <;~P
The second si7/28? and the 6/18 before it?
te, ti, tr, ve... (continuing the do re me...)
i'm missing one blasted E - from the rightmost one - any guesses? :)
Hurshy, do you have a 4/5 from that e?
my mom, mklein was a potter for many years too!
(notice how quickly I jump to your aid!)
eek, no! thanks artlady, i'll look!
i appreciate that, artlady :)
I loved ceramics in college. Teaching at the elementary level limits what I can do, but i do a ceramics unit with each grade.
hurshy it ends with not lo but ** (think altitude) and the second letter is the consonant before "m"
I can't believe that te 8/40!
ooh, there's a te 8/40! i love the log.
et 8/40?
thanks bbnaz
ANything for you, hurshy... ;-)
pe 8/45 and po 8/45 anyone?
there's a pe 8/45? now those are my last two 8's then, pe and te
there are 2 po 8/45's though, both building on po7 - to wax non-prosaic?
whew! i have a clean dishwasher! maybe i should run it with bleach now, what you think artlady?
Definitely, 'nut! Twice!
almost time for finishing my taxes...
btw - i think i'm going to rot my fingers off with chemicals - wouldn't that be interesting? i could be like a cleaning martyr.
in my opinion, cleanliness is overrated... I'd rather Babble...
hurshy the te 8 ends in the last four letters of the woman's name in the song "Goodnight I****" and then add the plural letter.
carpe felis
nevermind. i was thinking of something whilst typing. I meant the last three letters are from that gal's name, with the plural. Prior to that you put in a consonant that follows "o"
thoroughly confused now Hursh?
aw sherb, your hurting my feelings!
oh, but i have that. artlady said there was an 8/40 - was that just a mistake?
Well, the IRS is calling. Hurshy, enjoy yourself and thanks again for your patient repetition of clues for this deficient babbler. "nut, have fun cleaning. I'm off to play with numbers! (actually they're done, just have to double-check!) Ciao, a domani!
bye artlady :)
Hurshy, the te 8/40 builds off the earlier te's...
got three po's out of that thanks hurshy
but i don't have the list so i don't know where it goes :) it's ok, as long as it's really there, that's all that matters :)
think really really small there hursh for the te 8,40
I'm missing an Ni 5 following the Ni6/18. I have the Ni that ends in the second vowel, and I have the one for a short form of dynamite. any clues for the other one?
having said that, I did dust and vacuum my apartment today... but that was for the first time in three weeks... life's too short...
aha, thanks bbnaz
a plural, perhaps, angel?
you can count on me to confuse anytime!
ok, so pe 8/45, this is real yes? not a rumor?
i don't have it but it is on brandyjack's list.........
ok good thanks :)
does anyone have he 5/12?
yes, scribble, it's a plural
he 5/12 is a pl.
from an estate
the fourth re7/28?
hi everyone!
person who leases (unless there are more and i don't have them all...)
hurshy, I can't find a plural for the missing NI5/10
not days but...
Hello, everybody! My shoes aren't as fabulous as I'd hoped, but I couldn't figure out how to take a picture of some of mine and put it on the computer. I'm techno-challenged...So I had to search online.
I have that one hurshy? Do you have the next one? (re7/28)
Hurshy, the PE 7 and 8 are singular and plural respectively. The word sounds like a popular hair shampoo
hi smithchick... cool mules... :D
harp, i have one more after that, puts prongs back on a fork, and i have three before it. (now you do realize i was referring to a singular, not a plural, i hope)
thank you bbnaz, i remember we had that one not long ago, silly me.
well, i tried to resist coming back until this evening. prep for party tomorrow will have to wait a while. hello.
*hums happily* 28 to go...
Love your shoes, angel! Oooh, yours too, sherb!
HI, cliff! I'm also lovin' the blue suede shoes...
NO, I didn't realize that hurshy. Got it now, thanks! Sound like YOU need the plural of the crystalline substance?
of the first two in 5/10's I have the one meaning not moving --- clue for the other?
harp - first i prob need a crystalline substance!
body of water Cybernan
hi cliff :D
or6?
great shoes everyone....
or6 - the far east
or 6 -- the far east
hurshy, take the fork re, and change one of the vowells
snap, cnan!
ty harp, now i only need 2 more 7's
1000 extra points to anyone who can correctly wild guess either of the 2 7's i am missing! :)
si 7/28? the second one? And the si6/18 before it?
very first PE 4,5 i know you aren't missing that hursh....
si6 - s + i5 bury
thanks bbnaz -- pass the fish!
pe + not out?
really silly here........der. TYVM
i have 6 p's to go so not 100% sure that's first...
actually i think it HAS to be, nothing can come before that.
hey hey cliffy !
okay then how about the final pe4,5 word clue? i am monkey typing away here........
nut - your boot is making me sad. my son leaves in a few days for air force officer training. he has been wearing boots like that to break them in.
i think it must be im****inent, bbnaz
I'm back to my 'natural' ash blonde color now...
nope not that one nor the docking space........hmmmm
which would be pO not pE maybe i need to take a break..........
oh, sorry cliff - they're stephanie plum shoes - but great for you son! who knows, maybe i worked on his investigation.
re 5/12? I think there's only one. It's driving me nuts.
i don't see how there could be another 4/5 after the po docking space
Anyone who goes to a rodeo knows that "repen" is a word.....
harpjane - magnets of the same pole do this
raincoats re5/12 water...
so they do. thanks!
Attention: With many heartfelt thanks to Stidmama....everyone go look at the online resource pages (be sure to check out both of the pages)!
4 calling birds, 3 french hens...
maybe i'll be able to get a few te's if someone helps me with the te 8's.
angel - it looks lovely!
cliff, that bikini was itsier, bitsier, te8/40, weenier....
i am so glad it finally works! be warned, it may be a little strange in internet explorer...
OMG harpjane, i just got a bundle off that clue!!! ty!!
silly me. i had the pe 4,5....i needed the pe 6,21 which was easy once i realized i needed it. banging head against the desk right now.
stid - i use ie, thought it looked lovely cliff, where is your son going? florida?
ve 's ? - i have the letting out ones
thanks, nut!
i have the three easy VE's...but i'm befuddled by the last four...monkey typing with my paws at this point.
my son is going to alabama.
Hi all, Angelsong - THANK YOU for all your wonderful work; your website is a Babbler's paradise! (-:
it's beautiful, Angelsong... :D
fig . . . snake toxin . . . all 4 start with the same 5 letters
he'll do great cliff - my future sister in law went into the air force, then out cause they didn't have the job promised here, then she went into the army. she said air force was easy compared to army. i don't know if that makes you feel better, come to think of it, i doubt it helps at all actually...
off to a rehearsal, then a wedding. 55 words to go. thanks for the help!
Bye, harpjane!
later harpjane!
aloyisius, thanks a lot. My goal in making the pages was to colllect all of the Babble resources and information I could find to have everything in one handy place. I wanted new players to be able to spend less time being confused, and established players to have their resources for quick access.
yeah, our retired military friends also said the air force was the easiest. my son is an engineer and is going to be doing research and development, so i'm not worried about him serving. he is my only 'birth' child (other 2 are 'bonus' from husband's 1st marriage) and in 26 years he has never been more than 3 hrs away (except for trips out of the country or new england)
bye, harpjane!
argh. Why is he such a pain? It's like when he takes on any project that is even slightly challenging to him, it become a HUGE production, and makes me wish I had just done it myself.
oh good then, it's just the separation cliffy! you can do it! email, letters, web cams. my future sister in law is in kuwait now. i keep her up to date with pictures of everything. stupid little things, anything that'll cheer.

one more i and one more p, one more s and one more t (but 2 n's and 4 r's)
thanks, une
I do have the pe (french for thought), but there's a pe6 before that one, I think, Haz... Ren: It's like a breath of fresh air! I like it a lot.
hello, everyone; totally brand new here! :-P
ROFL.... I misread the clues about pe - male genitalia... In my mind the clue read pe5 word for male "thought"!
how is it than we can have the french word for thought, but not for to think or any of it's conjugations?
say something mikey
done - finished with the et 9
'something'
HI, mikey!!
oh you did - hey all this is mama, nut, chic, wolf, t-owl and my new friend from germany
Hallo MikeyinBerlin. Welcome to babbling

a pe6 before writing implements but after genitalia - that must be what i need if that is right!
mmmmmmmm HEEELLOOO Mikey woowoo
Now, I'm not flirting or anything, because I'm a happily married old woman, but if that is your picture, you're a hottie...
hallo und danke, bbnaz! :-)

MikeyinBerlin, welcome to the Babble world. You're in luck. Angelsong's Babble pages have just had a facelift. link is to the right, under Friends of Babble...check it out for all kinds of helpful information.
aw; shucks.....well yes it is, smithchick, but i'm a happily attached gay man, so you're safe anyhow! ;-)
hello all--love all the shoes! now why can't "snert" be a word? It just seems like such a great word...
The last in6/18, if you plz......
vielen Dank, Angelsong! ;-)
DANGIT why are all the cute guys gay!!!!!!!!!!!
twinkie, i believe i tried that one too :)
Oh, goody. I'll just appreciate the eye candy offered in Babbleland today!
omg! :-/ *blush*
mikey - angelsong has created a web page that will tell you everything about this grid anas well as all the help links. she is very talented! it is located to the right - also there is bab anon where we post our introdictions and other neat stuff!
mikey, you ARE very cute--your pick reminds me of ricky martin (another gute gay man)...
I'm with you twinkie... I try snert all the time thinking that enable will wise up and add it to the dictionary.
you are very sexy your guy is LUCKY
hey mikey! : )
could type an encyclopedia of handsome gay men and you would definitely be in it. I would rather go and party with my ss friends than go out on a date. They seem to have such a pulse for fun.
sheesh; is this 'Embarrass Me Day' or something? :-/ lol
Nothing like a warm welcome, huh mikey?
you guys! he's brand new - don't overwhelm him - and he's not just a sex object - behave now.
NAW just how we welcome every newbie to Babble. Gets them disbabblia in a hurry!
i'm the lucky one, shorty, to be with Heinrich :-)
pe 7 and 8 combo?
or were all horny women LOL
The last in6/18, if you plz......
so where is his mug?
actually, mikey, you don't look that much like ricky--i saw your pic on your bio. you remind me of ricky, nice hair and all, tho'
lol; really now, smithchick! :-þ
is he as good looking as you
bbnaz - the second si with 7 letters think the tiny wooden pieces that get under your skin but take 2nd & 3rd letters out
leslieann - before you were an adult
subjective matter, shorty; i think he's much better! :-)
that is the pr combo right? i am looking for the pe 7 and 8
can you imagine if this site were mostly guys and a girl came in who was good looking and they acted this way? think about it...
no, Twinkie; i don't think i look like anyone but me, actually.....ok, except maybe a bit like my parents, too! ;-)
he 7?
Good point, hurshy.
If it makes you feel better mikey, we'll all pretend you're either ugly or dumb as a rock. Nothing worse than a really good-looking guy who is dumb as a rock.
ch are your boots made for walking?
heck still waiting for some help with that SI word.
at any rate, welcome mikey! are you german, or just living in germany? (have a hefeweisen for me!)
he7 multiple mr. aarons (of baseball)
Sorry... I'm back... got involved in kid stuff... the butterflies are here!! Actually they are caterpillars but they arrived today!

well, i assure you, smithchick; i'm about as opposite of 'dumb as a rock' as one could find
ty hurshy
Nope, blushing, was translating some text on babel. Thanks Clif very much!
cliffopa... I like your shoes the best! I wish they made them in my size!
Well, we're pretending here mikey. Don't blow it!
actually no, shorty; i'm quite comfortable.....nice and cool in here! :-P
hey Jera.
Thanx, Temple......... It was the second one.....(plural of buries).......
hi jera! mikey - how was literati?
Hey, bbnaz... & greetings, Mikey... we love newbies, as you've found out!
hey, Temple Owl!!! :-D hiya!!!!! it was great :-)
brb... gotta find a costume...
lol, Jera; nice to know ;-)
sorry, stupidly-phrased question, mikey--you can be german and live in germany! (lol) i was thinking maybe you met your partner in germany when you were travelling and stayed there because our stupid country (usa) stinks when it comes to allowing foreign gay men to marry american partners and stay in our country... (sorry, have friends who had to move out of america to be with their foreign partners :-()
hi jera :) i thought a little one's shoe would be cute, and different. i'm not a fancy shoe kind of person.
gtg - hasn't rained for an hour so i may finally venture out -c u you later and happy babbling!
oh goodness, there's an et 8 and 9??
13 words to go and cannot find the SI 4,5 that is on the list......
brb - need to go to the "grocery"store.....mez is ill ...(fear factor is at 10..grocery store...)
bb, there was a clue earlier about taking the seven deadlies and changing the last letter... do you have that one?
bbnaz - it's a hyperbolic trig function! :)
well i did, Twinkie; i was actually born and raised in Canada, but my mom's from Berlin here, so i am a German citizen by parentage.....and i met Heinrich on one of my yearly visits over here, and made the move, settling in with him 5 and 1/2 years ago! :-) used to spend half of all my summers and some Christmases here, while growing up.....here and the UK, where my dad is from
I hate it when my little people try to pressure me to get off of my computer.
last re5/10 b 4 i go?
help please... the second si 6/18?
cool, you are at home in three great countries, mikey! (germany, uk, canada)
Actually, that mortal s** one can have a vowel added for one word and a consonant added for another. Never heard of the one ending with the consonant.
so, anyhow; what are we supposed to do with this puzzle, then? no idea how to play this yet :-/
later, shoe fetishers! :-) must go help hubby w/ taxes....
hey mikey, i'm back for a few minutes. play it like boggle.
the last re 5/10 i have is to *** one's shoes again, but there's probably one after that
Bye twinkie!
great, evanonut; except that i've never played Boggle, either, so have no idea how that works! :-/
Me neither, cliffopa... this is how I prefer to be (new icon... refresh!)
think i'll have to read up on how to play this, and try it another time :-P
I need to quit blabbing and babble instead.:-)
mikey, try the babble rules link at the top first
okay then mikey, make words from letters that touch each other. each block can only be used once in a word.
great choice jera. if i did not live in nh i might go barefoot year round.
man, if there was a game called blabble, i would totally win
How did you discover babble, Mikey? Angelsong's page is really good too.
oh; thanks, evanonut! :-)
lol leslieann!!
i would be willing to take clues for any of the et's...
templeowl - re... on a horse
I was born in Tennessee in January... I go barefoot unless it's illegal or dangerous (& my danger criteria is pretty high)...
I don't know Leslie, I'd be fierce competition!
no probs mikey, i'm all ready to bowl, big haired, made up, just like that song, what is it? oh yeah, i like my women a little on the trashy side.
what's that about a horse?
The et's are almost like live forever, but fiddle with the ending... not al
The longer et's are almost like one who does, but don't use a t... you really just have to play around with the endings, they are a bit odd...
ok, thanks jera, i have the 6 and will fiddle for the 8 and 9
The last re6 is how you might fix a broken fork...
lol, evanonut! :-)
Help, please! for the PE's I have: pe4/5 pe5/12 that's a plural of the pe4/5 pe5/12 that's a plural of male genitalia Missing a pe6/21 after the second pe5/12 above... it's not the one for the French thought. then I have 3 more PE5/12's. What's the 6/21 that's MIA?
i was kidnapped and dragged in here, smithchick! ;-)

Jera - I wish I would have thought of that! I actually do have a picture of MY bare feet that I took on the beach! There is white ocean foam all over them!
monekyed it out.thanks.
Hurshy, are you still list-less? I'm not going to make it today. My mother is making me go to a dumb multi-level marketing presentation at her friend's house. Blech.
Nobody wants to see a picture of my bare foot, so I found some pretty ones...
I've got an et9 and an re9. Which 9 am I missing?

The first si6/18 rhymes with the coldest season

hey there...does anyone have clues for ve 7/40 and ve 6/27(the 2nd one) pls and ty
Hi Helen and Mamabear. I am with Mo looking for that last SI 6,18
The re's are indeed scary today...
put the number that comes after eight on the VE
ok, took a sudoku break, now to see if i can get last 10 without list
and then add the plural Kim for the second one
how is numbersville today, hurshy? A quickie?
HURSHY!!!! you do Sodoku too? I had a friend start one of those sites.
thanks bb, i needed those too
Hi mamabear. I don't think all those "re"'s are sufficient reason to retire from the game.
it's a medium sudoku today, pretty easy.
ty bbnaz..finished!!!
pe7/32? the middle one?
congrats kim!
so how about a clue for that second SI 6,18?
hmmm... yesterday's was a medium too and it only took about 25 min..... maybe later! thanks

helen - are you a florist?
ok, so how many re7's are there? i have 6.
hey hurshy, I will be careful not to step on your shoe!!! LOL
hurshy, in that case could I have a clue for the pe6/21?
lol mama :D
you have em all, hursh! there are 3 8's and a 9 too
TYVM Kim. Did you have an SI 4,5 too?
no, not anymore :( - was once - a very enjoyable profession that doesn't pay alot, unless you are on the business end of it & no, headaches like that for me, no thank you!
I work for FTD..... that's why I asked!
Can anybody tell whether or not there is REALLY an SI 4,5 in this puzzle as I cannot seem to gorilla it out the grid
bbnaz, there is. one of the seven deadly s**s, + the eighth letter of the alphabet
this was a fun little class - made a topiary & got to keep it - and all for the right price!
si 4/5 what it is to tell a lie plus 8th letter
bbnaz - you are gorilla typing??? Is that heavy handed monkey typing????
mama - how do you like it? do you get the opportunity to be creative or is everything pre-designed?
pe 6/21 french for thought
Thank you so much Kim. I was beginning to think I was absolutely nutz, then you helped me realize that I am merely babbling.
are there any N7's?
helen - I work in the corporate office. Hardly ever see a flower! Except when Marketing is doing photo shots, then we take home the leftovers!
Thank you also Leslie Ann. I am getting closer to the finish and will still watch Hurshy finish ahead of me and she didn't use a list!
thanks hurshy.
no, hurshy
the last pe512 and 6/21?
yep, bb, she's a sneaky one. she'll sneak right by you and get done :)
pe*** pe*** pumpkin eater, jane
are there any ri 7's? more than one i7?
the pumpkin eater and pl
2 in 7's, hurshy... but i only have one
LOL mama - that's funny - one of the things i liked the best about it was the ambiance - everything pretty to look at, pretty to smell - it was the pay & some of the crazy people which led me to find another current to paddle my life-boat
aHA, thanks leslie.
no ri7s, hursh
no ri and 2 in i
whats up with all the male genital parts in the puzzle today?
which i7 do you need?
no, i got it now, down to 9...
the one in 7 i have, hursh, is someone who has a temp entry job that doesn't pay well + a vowel
i worked at a place that only did weddings, brought stuff home all the time & also could buy at cost - that was great $2.50 for roses!!
shorty.... you are tempting me..... beyond reasonable limitations on beginning this grid with that info!
tons of gentalia today, shorty
LOL
leslie, the other one is the opposite of laid-back
I am missing a se 4/4 right in the middle of the list, it is after the 6/18 any help I used more words and typed in all 39 se words and I still can't get it
someone who is very focused is also considered in + number after 9 plural with a vowel
haha! thank you hurshy
ok folks, time to play guess which 2 N's hurshy would miss... :) :) :)
Just 3 more p's. The first pe6/21 and the two 5/12 that immediately follow?
just move the second vowel from the middle to the end
all the n's are 4s and 5s, hursh, with the exception of one 6
Mikey.... you still there???? How ya doin, hon?
hursh, no 5 - a fiction book?
hursht you didn't miss the number n's did you??

ding ding ding! five points for leslie!
ni + cross letter + **w a boat?
helen - in Downers Grove, Illinois. Yesterday was my 9 year anniversary with the company.

so I didn't have most of those, so even though they weren't helping hursh, they helped me leslie
helen - I live in Chicago too! I never heard of emo phillips!!! :(
hursh, this would be easier if you just posted your n list, then i can figure what you're missing
all those n clues helped me find my missing n word TY all (sorry hursh)
second re5/10?
Liv is my first baby. But I remember my littke sisters looked exactly alike at the same ages for awhile. now they look totally different
nope, that was it leslie. now i just need one s, one t, one p, and 3 r's - can't post those lists, they are far too long, it would be rude. if i can't pick up clues or people can't guess what i'd overlook, i'll just go to the log eventually
yw aknitter, nat... didn't know if you were still here!
i wasn't, I took a break to write part of a paper, and just came back
i mean list, not log
i was intently searching for that stupid missing n word!!
lol, I took a break from this to write a paper, I think it should be the other way around
mama - i actually used to know him many years ago - a comic - has been on carson, leno, letterman a bunch of times - very off-the-wall - you have a long way to commute, what part of the city do you live in? - i'm on the nw side - harlem & irving
hurshy if you posted all those words i'd NEVER tell anyone. i am missing tons, just started

AHa! down to one little p5 now
oh, thanks leslie - it was the last one, i got it right before you posted again :)
okay, that's it, little lady! no p help for you!
Ladies and Gentlemen. That tremendously loud thud you just experienced across the globe was bbnaz falling in a dead faint from her computer post after finishing, YES FINISHING, the grid. A huge and hearty thank you goes out to all who were so very kind as to help her in her most feeble attempts.........
you will have to p all by yourself!
ah, see, you did beat me, bbnaz :)
congrats bb!
lol leslie
what about her tete?
YAY bbnaz! (woo-hoo)
Hurshy you are the stud patty. No list. It boggles my brain to even attempt it. But then when I do crossword puzzles, I have to cross off the clues when I answer them or my brain just doesn't parse........
happy to confuse and confund anyone who needs it!
other people do it without the list too... they just don't ask for as much help as i do so you don't notice!
okay bbnaz, let's see how confounding your cluse are! stuck on the he 4/5 between the 6s at the end...
i have pe 5/12 x 5 and pr 5/18
bb, i need the pe 7/8 combo between pe**-up anger and the little people
never mind, just got it... fish please!
not his but he**
leslie that's the one that sounds like a brand of shampoo
just like the shampoo but with a pe instead of pa
five words to go and 4 of them are re's nooooooooooooooo
oh crud i miss that one every time. thanks ladies.
sheryl, if you need re 5's look at my 5:13 clue i listed them all!
which ones sheryl?
you're really going to abandon me to the mercy of the P?
HA! got it!
hurshy you got into this mess yourself you're going to have to p your way out of it!
bbaz need the re 8/40 after the 28
SEE? i was just about to start listing.
well i did so it's ok! yay!
congrats hurshy!
lol, i'm sorry i've tortured you so today leslie!!!
how many words for today, by the way?
207 lovely little findable words
mama !! - sorry had to get a cup of tea - what a small world - what kind of pup did you get?
it is the plural of the 28
thanks. (and oh, boy, do I suck at this. :)
lol it's ok, hopefully they helped someone else
not sure what the word means but it follows along with the ones immediately preceeding them that means to pay for your living space
casira, have you clicked on lickety's babble clues link to the right? it lists first and second letters. big help.
just think how much else i could have done today if i had used the list... it would have taken less than 2 hours, and as it is i spent like 6
YAY hurshy!
but you also get to bond with us, hurshy. and that's priceless.
ty stidmama :)
Oh Hurshy I enjoyed every minute of your help and company
bbaz all the 28 i have a already plurals
oops, i missed the part where mama left (- making mental note to talk to mama bout puppy next time i see her)
true. and really, i wouldn't have done anything else bc i have a cold.
i need a 7/28 believe it is the last one on the list
why thank you bbnaz :)
sheryl, try sticking an "i" in your re 6/18, someone who leases
no sheryl, not last on list - you need 7 singular person who leases and 8 pl people who lease
oh unless you need bury again and pl, but that is nowhere near the end
si 7/28? (the first one, not the one that rhymes with a season)
Sheryl, there are 6 re 7,28. are we looking for one of those or an re 8,40? sorry I am confused here
si + vowel + opp of day
what a wacky one. thanks hursh.
si + 2nd vowel + opposite of day (slang)
Hurshy you are so much faster than I am and I can tell you have helped me so much as my clues sound like yours!
do those people who lease work off the 4/4??
yup, sheryl
bbaz i need a 8/40 not sure which one have the bury one
also need the 6/18 and the 7 following it near the end of the list
can i have an idiot's clue for the se 8? i couldn't get it off the clues before, is it a weird spelling?
to stand guard
i have the 7 from the lease clue is there an 8 somehow off that
se8 is not weird, it is the normal spelling of a soldier who is guarding stuff... mailed + anagram of a river in egypt
sigh... never mind i got it... i had been thinking sentries
sheryl, you need a 7 SINGULAR off the lease clue
ha, see, you do it too leslie :)
lol, ok we're even, that was a good clue
re6/18 put prongs on a fork again, and pl
sheryl, try re 4/4 + a "more so" ending with three letters
you se** me a package + not out but "**" + second vowell & consonant that follows "k"
thanks, bbnaz as well
crikey you guys are so FAST no wonder I love ya!
ty leslie
maybe it's your computer, bbnaz, do you have dial-up?
nope cable but i have to find the word then figure out how to type a coherent clue. in the interim you have whupped me to the finish!

why am i always talking to people after they leave ?!?!?!
really, people should be more accomodating to someone named helenkeller ;)
(helenkeller reaches out to touch faces of people still here)
you're absolutely right leslie ! lol
te8 - te plus pe5/12
Add an r as well!

hey - here's a rule i ought to remember: try sticking an 's' on the end of words - surprising how many i can check off by just doing that simple little thing! grrrrr (- drippy sarcasm)
morewords gives me a list of 39 words for the se 4 I have typed in all of them and none of them are the one i am missing. What is that other site that people use to find words, maybe mroewords isn't giving me the right one
down to my last four... ve 6/27? (not with the number ending)
oh yeah - or an '-es' !!!!! that works too!!!
sheryl, a2zwordfinder.com... do you have se + verb form of "to be"?
ve 6 add an ending to the one above it
i have 31 words
ve6/27 - one who lets it all out, one who ve4/7's

jee, think forever: et*****, take off -ity and add e
Angelsong, i was so glad to help -- you did the real work, i just mucked around until i found something that seemed to work... and besides -- it was fun!
aknitter, oddly enough I have been thinking forever, but so far it hasn't helped.
pe and thrid vowel curvy letter and the second vowel
he 6/21 opp direction, opp of homo
he6/21 - dangerous drug name
et***** rest minus the nal, then add an e

YAY helen!

congrats helen!
those re-'s were daunting
lol aknit!
yay helen!
Yes, the re's are awful! I've got 4 to go (the 7, 8s and 9)
ok, last call before i head of for sudoku - or should i walk the dogs? maybe a little head banging & then some fresh air -yeah, that's my plan - clues anyone?
cal, 8 and 9 are someone who re 6/21s (tries to do good to make up for the bad stuff they did)
re 7/28 re + to bury. the re 8 is plural
cal, if you take the first re 7 (to come in again) and change the second e to i, you'll have another re 7 and 8
Thanks LeslieAnn and Helenkeller!!!
yw
Phew! re's are finished!!!
now I'll try to tackle my remaining pe's
ok i got it may i have a clue to the second re 5/10 and it's following 6/18 (i had the leaser one but my list must be wrong. ty all)
re + first three letters of the number after eight
re5/10 - to lease, then add e to the end
re 5/10 re + the flying *** , but change vowel to 3rd one
ah, sorry, I miscounted. It sounds like cheese bacteria.
i just realized there are a whole lot of flying things - this one would be sally field :)
Of all flying things in this world, Sally Field might just have been the very last one I ever thought of! :)
ty lesli caloli and helen finally got it! (them)
lol vic !!!! - yeah- good thing i rethought that one
yw :)
pe 6/21 the very first, please!
well, to make up for my day of laziness i'm going to go running. have a good night, folks!
good nite leslie :)
What is the total number of words for today?
nite leslieann , thanks
Good evening all. I have been in and out all day and am down to 12 words. Am about to throw in the towel, since the long lists of re's, si, se's pe's drive me crazy. And I have the worst time with clues that dont seem to be the right ones for me. O Well. Any help for pe 4/5 (first one), pe 6/21 (first and last one) and pe 5/12 (4th one down on BJ list). I could sleep a lot better with all your help.
pe6/21 - pl of preceding 5, (starts like a tasty dessert)
bye, LeslieANn
207
OH, forget the dessert, I can't spell!
pe 6/21 = the writing implement + what you do with your eyes that hk couldn't do
Thanks!
helen... isn't that french? no fair :P
pe4/5 rhymes with vessel which carries blood around your body. Change the first letter to a P.
vicuna ty
the last pe6/21 ... a man's name - the pumpkin eater, then add S
You're welcome, especially since you were able to interpret it!
grigs - ? i don't understand
inge pe 5/12 seems to be the alt spelling for male appendage
it's like when triste was in teh puzzle the other day, but jove isn't allowed today. The rules for what gets in frustrate me sometimes.
se 7/28 and the following se 6/18 please?
Any clues for pe8/45 please?
grigs- oh, i see (no pun intended) you were referring to the word - heck, i don't know what most of these words even are, much less what language they're from, lol.
I haven't started on the se's yet, sorry.
pe 8/45 sounds like the shampoo + plural
se 7/28 is plural of french river se 5 previous, if it were plural people
oh, ok... my troubleis I always forget to use the british ...re as well as the american ...er when they're both available. the words in other languages i often see before the plain english ones...
also, does anyone have a clue for the pe6/21 near the bottom - between pe4/5 and pe5/12?
re 6 & 7 combo following the 4/4 anatomy word?
dun dun dun DONE!
that's more of the previous pe4/5
lol grigs
i wonder if the pe list is off. All the clues you kind people provided I have already. Yet I am missing four pe words.
yay, stidmama!
yipppeeee for stidmama !!!!!!!!
need an se5/10....it may come before a word for what you do to a table before a meal plus the third vowel, or it may come after that word.
ah, thanks jeffer!
thanks helenkeller!
the first se 5/10: people who tell the future
ty helenkeller i dont know how you see these words got two from your clue
second se 5/10: a type of net, sounds like a french river
yw caloli
nan - add two letters onto the 4/4 - postal abbr. for omaha's state
jeff - my dog helps alot :)
next se 5/10: like a word meaning to take (by force), se*** change the z to an s
LOL
next se 5/10: add a vowel to the se 4/4 meaning "posted" via mail and the next after that is another vowel ending
ty helen
stidmama are you done?
last se 5/10: no idea what it means... se + the first three letters of what you do between lather and repeat (lather, *****, repeat)
the se 5/10 I'm looking for is one of two that comes before the se8/40
last he 6/21?
se 728 clue anyone?
done! Thank you all!
he6/21 - opp of homo
se 4/4 + 2nd then + third vowels, angel
Nan - opposite of homo
yay, harpjane!
se 5/10: the se 4/4 before it plus a vowel (different one for each word)
yes jeffer... deliriously so (could you tell?) the se and re words drove me bananas today
YAY harpjane!
wtg harp !!!!
thanks caloli -- keep forgetting that prefixes often count as words here.
se 7/28: plural of the previous se 6/18 meaning a person who gets fish with a net...
stidmama bananas allright, even more so when i messed up my list for the re's!
ne 8 &9 -- no neopets here!
yw, nan
okay, I am off to invent an icon for tomorrow. Back later all... (when i am less loquacious)
bye stid
bye stid
nan - wetsuit material
i'm back to attempt a finish. way to many re's left.
can't seem to figure out the fish and net clue for the se 6 and 7 ---- smacks head with fish
se 6 & 7 - river in france
see my 6:35 clue
k, gonna go walk dogs now, bye all & gl!!!!
i am really thick today, ty
That washing hands clue did it for the se 5/10 I was missing, thanks.
lol aknit
bye, hk, and thanks again
might there be a clue for the pr 7?
never mind as soon as i asked i found it -- stupid thick head
Thanks, helen -- just the p's and one t now.

I've still got 50 words to go.
YAY nan!

stid -- you're sporting my favourite sandals today!
yep, i'm into comfy -- also easy, fast and gratifying!
I did it! I'm officially DONE!!!
*~*~*~*!*angelsong*!*~*~*~*
Bye everyone -- back sometime after the flip :)
any clues for se7/28 and se8/40?
congrats angelsong!
se 7/28 -- those who fish in the french river? se 8/40 -- one who stands on guard.
YAY angelsong!
re 9/60 those who atone for their sins
thanks nan :)
pr 7/32 achingly annoying age group
hey everyone
56with no list.... guess i'll start using it now. hmm, is todays hard for everyone?
can anyone help with the pr 7/32?
oops! just saw the clue and got it.
Hi :) I've found it hard because there are so darn many words to get!
I found it hard because there are so many words with the same beginning letter. Hard to keep track which one you still need.
hi! back to finish - i hope!
how many words are there?
there are 207 words
welcome back temple. how many left?
thanks!
i figured out which re-words I am still missing. re 7/28 and re 8/40, both just before the 5/12 to reject water, and re 5/10 , the one before to fasten again. Any help out there?
24 - just found the first po8/45...and working on the other
i'm one behind you temple :)
so the other 22 begin with re *maniacial laugh* hehehehehehehheheheheh eheh
evil owl :(
stidmama, are you still here? I need to ask you something.
re 7/28 make a fork again
Hi Angel :)
i have an re 8/45, but not 8/40
And Hello to Eveyone in the Land of Babble :)
moi? just sick of the leters r and e
hey, Faerie...check your e mail :)
just did. (*^_^*) WOW
re8/45 - one who is truly sorry for his/her si4/4
faeriekae!!! : D
Your wedding gown and rings are absoultly out of this world. I've never seen a ring like your before now. It is stunning to say the least.
{{{{{{{{faerie}}}}}}
Oh, sorry, the 45 was not necessary. I have 2 re8/40's, both plurals of the words before.
{{{Temple}}} whats shakin'?
(((((Shorty))))) HI!!!
I just came back in for a little more torture. I'm working on the pr's just getting started. LOL
87 words left to find LOLOLOL
Blast, wasn't being very helpful. Her's another try: re7/28 - like a French version of one who leases. Add an extra vowel before the -er
got the pr kid...
Oh, I am not pro, so I don't have the stats. I'm just happy to know how many words there are altogether.
LOL LOL 166 words to find
Vicuna - your scaring me....is it that bad???
Bend - go to Angelsongs Resource page and click on 2word letter links and get lickitys list. It is great.
LOL Shorty - we could be here all night and not finish.
this puzzle is an endurence test for sure X (
faeriekae, you mean is it bad enough to make me lose my ability to read other people's simple requests and respond coherently? Yes, apparently it is!
faerie, my daughter was my Maid of Honor. she helped me choose the dress, and it took my breath away. I will never in my life look that good again!
hey faerie your better than me
an endurance, test, too! faeriekae - if those shoes are bronze you'd better watch out - i want them! LOL
Angel - you looked breath taking. I love the dress. It is beautiful. Wish I could just see alittle more detail in the dress though. It looks awesome.
Vicuna, I actually got that word now. Thanks for the clue. Is re 8/40 related? It cant be a plural
TO - I just bought this pair while away last week. They are bronze. I bought 7 pair of shoes last week *teehee*
Yes it is, and yes it can, inge!
(build it going the opposite direction)
Thanks!
I'm down to my last 40 words!
Caloli - you go.....
this is so tedious!
Thanks vicuna, now I am down to 6 words.
hey faerie wassup?
go inge, go inge, go inge
My kids are coming in and trying to help - my 5 year old son is getting lots of 3 letter words!
what a mental workout
Talk - Hey, didn't see you. Trying to find a few more words....not even going to try and finish tonight. I got a really late start.
Caloli-Oh the 3 letter ones lol. That is so cute. Now on the the 4 and 5 and so on and so on....Help is always good.
Thansk for the support. I keep wanting to quit... How about se 6/18, the one before the spanish 6.
et 9 hints ne one?
Ing I don't have anything much past the po's sorry.
Freckle, the stuff diving suits are made of
et 9 is plural of the 8/40
Sorry Freckle, msiread your question. et 9 means to "go on and on forever"
Well, I also need three pe's. Anhelp for the first pe 4/5?
I've stuck on the last few te's ... anybody still giving clues?
ingge - opp of out
Which te's do you need? I have them all.
2nd pe7/32 & 8/45 below it please?
The first pe4/5 is similar to the tube which carries blood around your body. Change the first letter from v to p.
I need both te6's, both te7's and both te8's.
Inge, I think the se6/18 you're looking for is related to the French river. Add an s to the end.
pe7/38 sounds like a shampoo brand. It won't happen overnight but it will happen. pe8 is the plural of it.
First to the te's. Most begin with the same four letters refering to an age group (13-19) or meaning very small.Pe 7/32 is the plural of the male appendage.
te 6/18 is past, present, and future...plural of te5/10
how about pr 5/18 and pr 6/30 please.
thanks - I got both te6's now will work on te7 and 8
pr ... you leave bread to do this when you're baking it. Also, you pr*** a theory.
Caloli, that word(s) I have. I need the next se 6/18 ( I hope)
Ok got the pr 6/30 but not getting the 5/18? Sorry
Did you try adding an R to the end of the river, Inge?
te 7/32 think of the stuff you dilute paint with, and then plural for the 8.
Take the N off the end of pr6, Faerie.
Calio - Thanks, no on to the dreaded re's......ugh
i got all the "river" variations. This se is further down, after the "shipping" words and their variations.
that should have said now on the re's...I can't type no wonder I suck so bad at this. LOL
Actually I type way too much. Maybe thats the problem huh?
oops pt 6/21 I didn't even see that one. Any clues?
sorry inge, I'm not very good at this! Did you try adding -er to the spanish six? I only started babbling last week, so I'm still learning how to give good clues (and to give them for the right words!!)
I got the pt....thanks anyway.
Caloli - You give excellent clues. Stop that right this minute.
aw, thanks :)
now I've got 30 to go
i refuse to believe that 'snert' is not in the dictionary.
I need a "d" :)
I have 83 to go LOL
Bonkler - I'm sure it must in a dictionary somewhere lol.
I need to do a couple of things ... will be back in an hour or so. Bye for now!
Caloi - Thanks - see ya later.
bye, caloli!
faerie- can you help me with the pt?
Caloli, you are doing great with the clues. I think my list which I copied from BJ has gotten out of order when I crossed off words.
if it isn't, it jolly well should be.
Inge - I hate it when that happens.

Can anyone help with in 7/28 (first one) or le 7/28
there are 207 words
Thanks Caloli... that leaves me *just* another 140 to go then!
in7/28 - something which is very strong/powerful/concentrated/p assionate

More used to a stroll at ths time of night!
I'm still searching for one le7/28 but the one I have means 'not strict'.

down to the last 4 and my eyes must be blurry -- anyone have clues for ni 5/10 (2nd), or 5/10, se 5/10 (last) or si 7/28 (first). Any help is much appreciated!
pablo, members get lists but there are useful lists of letter counts and so on at babblers anonymous
Add an s to the end of the letter after 8
sorry, that was the first one.
ni 5/10 - well, the Moody Blues had passionate white ones
ni 5/10 dressed up very well...dressed to the ....
the second one sounds a bit Japanese ... add the last 3 letters of a Japanese master to 'ni'.
hey . pr6/30
ni 5/10 either not the days but the ni... (and not your grammar teacher's spelling) OR dressed to the ni...
po6 ... add N to the end of pr5
pr 6/30 let the dough rise
sorry, that should have said PR6, not po6
haha . yeah .
Pablo: at the right, under Friends of Babble, you can click on the links to Babs Anon, Angelsongs Babble page or Lickety's clues -- all have the first two letter list, and other useful info.
I've got 17 to go.
what a feat
tr5/16 !
2 more, ahhhh. or 5/10, si 7/28 (first)
Thanks for the pointers everyone.
I haven't got the OR sorry ... the si one is a doozy.
jahmu tr5/16 --- a treasure tr***
haha .yeah . i got that alr. (:
lgorms...or+ leg joints spelled funny
si7/28 is an alternative spelling and means "An igneous rock composed primarily of alkali feldspar together with other minerals, such as hornblende."
or 5/10, sounds like it has to do with birds, igorms.
ty everyone :} finally done.
Does anyone need help before i call it a night
congrats!
Well done igorms.
can I please get a clue for he7/32?
he 7/32 -- think of a several kings
oh yes , pls , it's driving me nuts . ha
and po8/45?
oh you're joking! How can he7/32 be let in when so many others aren't accepted?!?!
btw, thanks.
The 2 po 8/45s add a letter to the po 7/32
I have that one - can I get a clue for the other please?
oh duh, thanks ...
The he word has another meaning but I know I would not have got it from the definition (a unit of inductance) :}
13 words to go. I think I'll call it a night. Bye for now :)
lgorms, where do I add this mystery letter to the p7?
try an r and s
lgorms, I think I know my problem...There are 2 po7/32s. Can you clue me for the one you are talking about? I think I am missing it.
The first one, a writer who composes rhymes
What kind of words are those! Thanks, I wouldn't haven't gotten them without you!
i use them in everyday conversations myself :} j/k
goodnight all & good luck
I will start using them daily tomorrow...a new goal. :)
am trying to use the hint for the po7/32 given (someone who writes rhymes?) and i just can't get it...any more clues? thanks.
looking for ne 8/45
good night Igorms! hi all, i'm lurking in the background while I play with other things... finished a while ago if you need help.
if you have po 4/5, then +ise
ne 8/45: an artificial leather/rubber used in wetsuits ne 9 is the plural
that was for twinkie!
thanks! i kept trying +er, +ese, and none worked.
Thanks stidmama! I never would've gotten it otherwise
the theme for tomorrow is greek mythology. I'd like to audition my icon -- the messenger from the gods to the mortals, Iris who used a rainbow to pass from Mt. Olympus to earth. refresh if you have time, and let me know if it looks okay to you...
i had no idea there were themes on these... what's today's theme, then?
or is the theme relegated only to icons, not the puzzle?
today's theme has been shoes and boots. not everyone "plays dressup" -- but it's kinda fun. Babbler posts the themes on her profile page
cute rainbow, stidmama
oh yeah-- icons only -- i believe the puzzles are generated randomly!
cool, thanks for that explanation. i kept wondering how everyone was in the know re: the shoes today...
yes, i was pretty confused my first couple of days, too! thanks, bendamalina -- are you new? i don't recognize your name
stid, which is the babbler page where you got the info on the themes? there's a couple listed on the side, not sure which one...
yeah, i'm new i played once before the other day, but i think i only got 400 some odd points. i just casually played to see what it's like. i'm an avid boggle player. cutthroat, almost
bend, do you ever play weboggle?
no, never played it. probably shouldn't be playing this right now cause i have so much work i ought to be doing....heh!
i used to play online scrabble, but i'm terrible with games and will play more than I ought to, so i stopped playing. a friend of mine who i routinely whollup at boggle recommended that I try this game....
how about you? how long have you been playing?
i just started a week or so ago. i love webboggle--actually, i was taking a break from babble to do webboggle! (i know of what you speak re: wasting too much time playing...i've stayed up very late in the past playing weboggle!)
here's the link, fyi (they have 4x4 and 5x5): http://weboggle.shackworks.com /
sorry, got called away for a minute... catching up on the log now.
this is the closest i've ever come to finishing...usually i try to hit 1000 and then leave, but today i tried the grid thing from lickity and got close (152 words, 2070 points). i can't see myself staying on to finish an entire one! it takes staying power. (ironsudoku is more my style--quick and dirty)
Babbler's profile is at http://www.playbabble.com/vie w_profile/6719
I give myself a 100-word minimum (or the max in the puzzle), but most days have enough time in between other things to finish the whole shebang
thanks for your profile! everyone here is so nice
i know what you mean, twinkie. if i hadn't gotten the licketysplit grid, i would've stopped long ago i like websudoku
i like websudoku, too. my other faves (some already mentioned): ironsudoku, babbler, weboggle, bookworm (on popcap), mahjong (also on popcap). if you like wordgames, bookworm rocks!
stid, i love the themes!!! you guys rock! (although i will miss having my beloved luna eyeing her ball...)
i like to play orisinal games, not because they are challenging, but because they are cute and have nice music http://www.ferryhalim.c om/orisinal/
check out bookworm on popcap: http://www.popcap.com/
the themes were here a long time before i was! so many of the people here are real gems. sometimes, when a theme doesn't "agree" with me, I go back to one of the more meaningful personal icons. You'll see cybernan do that a lot, and many others.
i think i might leave this at 137 not bad for my second try
bendamalina, that is a good number of words for your second go-round. Well done!
yeah, i saw cybernan had her own pic today. i love the orisinal!!! was playing the cat one just now! (they are soooo like real cats--can't make them do what you want!)
haha, twinkie! and thanks, stidmama
and you're right about the music (have it playing still in the background--"do-do-do--dododo !")
very cute. oops, music died--my cats must have gone haywire and i ran out of points. ;-) good night--enjoy the rest of the puzzle, and see you soon!
HI. THe only P word that I am missing is the 3rd PE5/12. Could someone please help me? Thanks.
Minski: the third 5/12 is two or more writing implements with an extra vowel. (betw the last cons and the pl curvy letter)
good night everyone, and good luck
Thanks mab. Now how about help with the OR6? Thanks.
forget the or. got it. thakns anyhow.
Close enough. I'm done. Nighty-night.
good night Minski!
evening, everyone.
Minski...you need to orient yourself toward the east
Whew! Eyes closing at 143. May not seem like many to most of you, but to me it's a bonanza! Thanks for all the great clues. Couldn't have done it w/o y'all! Nite all--sweet dreams. Or maybe I'll just wait for the next grid to be posted--somebody save me!
grid for tomorrow is supposed to be greek mythology, ye gods...
hi Charm, all! (((hugs)))
hey stidmama. just waiting for the flip. How are you?
how do you know tomorrows theme?
Hello and Good Evening!
also waiting for the flip, updating various web pages i've been slow on... the usual!
stoningtoncat: go here: http://www.playbabble.com/vie w_profile/6719
knutmeg! how's our princess (and her daughter?)
Doing good. Tonight is shift night with my husband (we split up the nights before his days off. I get to sleep in our bed. For hours! Starting at either 2am or 3am... I haven't decided yet when I want him to relieve me... Olivia is doing good tonight. She drank 4 oz in one sitting after breastfeeding, I hope that means she'll be asleep for a few more hours, yet. ;-)
Hope Olivia's growing well -- she is small, as you mentioned earlier today... I know how hard it can be to get a newborn to nurse enough to sleep more than a couple hours at a time. but my boys were 9.5 and 8.5 pound brutes at birth, so I really don't know what a normal sized baby should weigh at three weeks! Still, we nursed every two or three hours the first couple months with each of them, and eventually they were big enough to sleep larger blocks of time.
knut--it doesn't work?
13 minutes left, folks, need any last minute clues?
stonington: remove the space in the link. Or go to Angelsong's Resource page on the right, the link is also found there.
I could use the pt word, stid
"any of various compounds that contain the bicyclic ring system characteristic of pteridine" pt + a way to refer to Ireland (also a girl's name that sounds like aaron)
We're using formula to help us with those cluster feedings, which she is doing a lot recently. By the time I go back to work, we want her on formula exclusively. I know breastmilk is better, but both she and I are having a hard time with the breastfeedings. Plus, I can't pump at work, I work customer service at a grocery store, its impossible to get off the floor!
I know what you mean, knutmeg! I was lucky that after our first I had a private office and could take him along the first few months while I continued to work part-time (he was born with problems, so couldn't send him to daycar); then I left work when my Tom got a job... even so it was hard sometimes to balance everything -- and since he couldn't take a bottle I never had any time off!
thank you, stidmama I still need the long ve's between the poisons and the air duct, and the long et's, if you have them.
take the et 6, drop the last vowel and add -ise, then plural
ve's: add the second vowel to the poison; add the recurvy consonant to the poison; add both to the poison...
Hail to the gang!
thanks again, stidmama--I always forget to Anglicise!
hi nan! how was the night out?
woo hoo right under the wire!! thanks all, most especially stidmama!
YAY badcat!
Great -- it was just the opening wine & cheese at our golf club.
oh, that sounds so -- elegant! we're still in the pizza and pop circle -- for at least a few more years while the kids are young...
they grow up all too soon stidmama!
Hi Cybernan! I have been lucky enough to have my work and my husband's work allow us to switch to opposite shifts, so we don't have to try and afford daycare or nannies or any of that. He also works at a grocery store, same company, different city.
oh knutmeg, that is so nice of them to arrange that for you -- although I know that it means you won't see as much of each other as you like, it will be so good for Olivia! I was glad our kids were always with us or grandparents their first few years... very nurturing.
Hi knutmeg --- you should live in Canada --- mother's get 3 months maternity leave at full pay or 1 year at 3/4 pay -- fathers can also claim up to 6 months at 3/4 pay, but not concurrently with the mother.
don't they, though, nan! I can hardly believe we got Matthew his own screenname for Babble today -- and he got close to a hundred words, I think!
see you all on the other side... :-)
Oh, my thoughts exactly. It won't be easy, and we aren't pretending it won't be, but we are so glad that Olivia will have the advantage of one parent around all the time for these first years.
brb
I still can't find the themes?
