Knowing the ending of a story does not negate the enjoyment of finding out how the author got the characters to that point. Lots of us know the ending to classis stories, but it doesn't prevent us from reading them.
Chganging the subject just for a mo'...hubby just rang ( on his way to Wales) to say he had travelled through the flooded area around Glouscester and Twekesbury and had never seen anything like the flooding there. He said it really brings home to you how dreadfull it is for those poor people.

Yes Ren, its a constant issues for working families childcare v earning money to ease the finances. Its hard on families - just the day to day living and keeping roof over head and the usual things children need. I am a great believer that most parents do their best and are good for their children - its just when you work it with all the issues day afte day you have to make sure your view of the world and familes is not distorted

It depresses me thinking about finances and children, I think all women should be paid a decent wage to stay at home until their children are 5 not encourage them to go back to work sooner rather than later, but on the other hand Nursery is very good for preparing them for school
here is a huge debate going on at the moment with regard to child care , which places mothers/ parents in dilemmas . Ideally the government of the day ( my view) should pay mother/parents to stay at home to look after child if that's parents would prefer to do. That would really state that society see children as priority!!
