hubby's knee is healing very well, he can walk normally now, as long as he remembers to take care. We go to Hochwald in Germany. I hadn't had kittens for a very long time until our formerly stray cat Spot presented us with 5 beautiful babies back in April

I had a kitten 10 years ago, when our youngest arrived on a dark & stormy night.

we got this lot by default, sort of. Our beloved "old man cat" Rock succumbed to a third round of Cancer in January and we had him put to sleep. A short while later a stray showed up in the cold wet winter weather looking hungry so we started feeding him the partial bag of food we had left.... (we were only going to get rid of the leftover food so it wouldn't go to waste..., yeah right, that didn't last long)
that stray started bringing a guest who soon took over the buffet and who we noticed was getting decidedly portly around the midsection...
long story short, we gentled this feral kitty down, got her inside and kept her there until the babies were born....
we've since gotten her spayed and vaccinated, and have started the babies on their shots

All of my cats have started out as unwanteds too.
we're lucky.... Boots (the original outside stray, whom we still feed but can't have inside because he "sprays") still comes around... He, Spot, and her little ones Data, Myth, Legend, Lore and Rumor filled an empty place in our hearts. None of them will ever replace Rock, but they have their own special places now.
aww metal.. what a nice story. yeah, Nothing and no one can "replace" a pet - to me, no diff. than a person, all diff and unique. but with so many unwanted babies out there, once the grief subsides some, it's wonderful to take in new furries and give them a home
nods, it is. I'd decided we would get another older shelter kitty, or two.... since the older ones have a harder time finding a home.... but it seems Spot and the gang were meant to be ours

yes, they're all ours forever. at first we thought we'd allow the kittens to be adopted through a local shelter since kittens find homes quickly and the shelter would require they be spayed or neutered before placement.... but as time went on, they became ours and we couldn't bear to part with even one

it is a bit of a challenge to cope with the litter box. no trips outside yet since many stray dogs live in and pass through our neighborhood. we're hoping to get enough money together to construct an enclosed run (lid and all)

I was gonna be good and head out the door because I knew I'd fall in love and if he didn't want to adopt we'd be at odds.... lucky for us, we both fell for Rock, so dignified and formal and aloof in his 12 /2 year old glory. we adopted him and were lucky to have him with us for another 6 1/2 years

He lists all the words with their first 2 letters and the number of letters and the score. So if you see ad5/24 it means te word begins with ad, has 5 letters and scores 24.

Okay, then. Do you have Lickety's List pulled up to help you know what you need as far as the first two letters?
There are four c4/6 words: like a secret co** for the second co. The first two 4/6 start like the fish, and use the first vowel ending for the first one, and the second vowel ending for the second one.
The ones I just clued are co words. the one CA 4/6 word is the usual word for money on hand.

I took our digital camera on vacation to Florida with my daughter - she laughed at me every time I took a picture because I kept putting it up to my eye!
