ive done that a few times at both the doc and the hospital but at the moment cant afford the doc and dont particularly want to be at the hospital as im home alone with youngest son and noone to leave him with

so gonna try one more night on my pills and sleep and if its no better tomorrow ill go to the hospital

Yeah. I read labels! Still catches me occasionally, but very infrequently.
dark room wheatpack pills and sleep usually works for me but it can take a couple of nites
Anything that constricts the blood vessels was what worked for me.

I've had this stupid flu series for four weeks-- but there's an epidemic, so so has everyody else.

I was at the dentist last evening because of a sensitive tooth and now tender lymph nodes on and below jaw. An x-ray showed a root infection even thought that tooth had a root canal a few yrs ago. Argh! Pain and loss of money are in my near future.

It's called a "duit". They were worth 1/4 of a Dutch nickel. Little silver coin, about the size of a US nickel but thinner.

I find pipes from teh 1500's and onward all the time, and I have two very historic little glass vials, but so far th eonly really valuable thing I have found, on some ground they were turning into a small park, is a complete wine bottle from 1750, worth about 400 Euros. Not that I'm going to sell it -- it's too cool.

Seriously, this snowfall is a danger today. There is a huge bridge game and lunch in the south end of the island (Flosey will be there) and the roads were ok before it started, but during the afternoon they became snowy and icy, with ice pellets (not hail) adding to the hazard. Some of the players live on a high hill (as I do) and if the roads are not ploughed and sanded/salted (and they probably won't be) it will be hard for them to get home, to say the least. No joke.
