I have looked into some insurances and the one that is recommended most is one that pays afterwards. You have an own risk, and that goes per declaration. So if you collect the bills and send them in once a year, it is really cheap.
and if something bad should happen, we can send it in straight away and get the money minus the own risk almost immediately.

I started uni 2 months after my 18th birthday, and I'd been waiting to go for a year (they wouldn't let me go there at 17). I loved the whole year.
You would probably have been accepted at a Scots university at age 17.
My game of choice at 18 was Pictionary. I was invincible.
I did think about Heriot-Watt, but that was the only one that did marine biology
Heriot-Watt is quite far out of the city, though.
I didn't want to go there anyway. I wanted Bangor. And they rightly said that going to uni at 17 was silly, cos I wouldn't have been allowed in any of the bars, the student union etc etc

It makes me wonder about the advisability of those maths youngsters going to Oxford at age 13 or something.
Intellectually they may have been capable but I can't see that it was a good social upbringing for them.

I know what you mean. It does seem to be unfair that you lose more ground by starting and not finishing than by not doing anything at all. Do you use Lickety's list? On days when you just want to find some words you could type your list in there and not send them to babble.
That way you get the satisfaction of finding some words but you don't mess with your ranking too much.

it could be something as simple as a hose that needs to be replaced but it could be the radiator, fuel pump etc. It cost me $200 to get towed last weekend and I cannot affort to have that happen again. I love to drive to the shore on weekends
