I was watching the tv the other night and they were talking about how much food we waste. I looked at my b.f and him and i said at the same time 'not in this house we don't' Everything we buy or cook is used. If the apples are turning they get pureed. It was really interesting that we as a society have forgot to buy what we need and use leftovers or other things

yeah! they were clever boys back then. knotwork I can do happily, la tene makes me swear constantly (and La Tene came a good while before the more normal celtic knotwork)
Knotwork is very mathematical. It kind of has to go where it has to go. The swirls are so much more fluid. And it's so easy to get mixed up which was is symmetrical.

thing is i stopped drinking when i was 16, so i only know what my folks drank, and a few popular spirity bits like baileys, and things like bacardi black ice which were my pub/club drinks. the wine i know is simply from my folks.
was never a fan of JD and coke, but it was my ex's drink of choice, so i always link it in with general lovelyness.
this bottle was a gift, so it's doubly enjoyed! but we're going on a quest to find a repalcement bottle very soon :)

i personally am so much better without it. i went out clubbing with some mates recently, everyone was drinking except me and a friend who was driving, and gradually as the night went on, they all fell away and ended up in a corner groggy and grumpy, leaving the only two non drinkers dancing happily away, and i didnt have to deal with any of that postdrink hassle the next day. i love it
