I ended up having to take the Lady back who had the nightmares I gave it 3weeks all total and they did not seem to be subsiding, she is now in a foster home with no other clients so they are better able to cope with her nightmares or whatever causes her to scream bloody murder in her sleep in the middle of the night, I am sad that I could not keep her.

I was just looking at my old high school and the uniform changes. We bought in pants for girls and now they are making the parents pay a ridiculous price for their school brand pants. I don't spend that much on pants myself.
What did you wear at school?
Uniform. Skirt and shirt and dress. Then in year 9 we forced via voted to be allowed to wear pants as a girl. We in year 11/12 had a school jumper and tshirt as uniform. Pants were jeans or slacks. Now its a full uniform up to year 12 (which in year 12 is half a year) is stupid and all pants have to have a school logo on them (tiny and about $70)
That's ridiculously expensive. Esp as kids grow. Our uniform was navy skirt, white blouse and school tie, with striped dress in summer - green and white or gold and white - and we had to wear an emerald green beret which was great for me as I had bright ed hair!
I had to wear a size 20 dress as they were tiny. My dress was a tent.
I was skinny till I was 16, then I went up 3 dress sizes.

The advice we would normally give is to clean the wound well with boiled water to be able to see how deep the wound is. If it won't stop bleeding, it may need a stitch, and it may require antibiotic cover. But don't panic if the eye isn't affected.

ruru, when i started, there was no lickety's and switching to babanon or bj's list--i forget where it was--was hard as I didn't have a printer and I hate multiple windows being open on this laptop screen, so I got comfortable without lists... and it challenges me in odd ways...

when i first started, i didn't know how to ask for a clue, so i looked over the day's chog until I found where someone else asked for it. As i got more into chogging, I clued, but try not to ask too often...I know some people do get upset if you ask for too many, rightfully so.
I was the same way, dan! I needed to figure out how to ask... and how to clue the rare times I had the answer!
I find that GIVING a clue is easier for me than ASKING for one...reading the chog, I figure out which type of clue that person will figure out, and can give it (sometimes)
well in the grand scheme of things and life...asking for clues in babble, which most are happy to help, ain't a biggie people

Asking your opinions, is it better to ask for a clue or use other sources ie more words, a-z, etc?
I surely don't mind helping out, and even the people who seem to be NTB (no not no blank tiles but not too bright) if they're here then it's cause they have a fondness for word games (usually)
it's not the asking so much as how it's asked, bzz...
I do both Bzzn....sometimes I just know that I have no clue as to what the word is and will go to more words rather than asking but that's just me
I prefer to use other sources first...but my first source is always the day's chog...usually smarter people than me have already asked for theword I'm looking for, and I can mooch off their request
can I have clues for the 98 words I have left?
others think if they get a clue from a babbler, it's "better" than looking it up yourself
