All fine too.The better weather is cheering us up and now most parts of the country are drought free.
that sounds good. We are slowly getting some Spring weather here. Yesterday was lovely. Today is overcast but so far dry. Hope to be able to hang up the laundry outside.
Washing always smells better when dried outdoors.At least I think so providing noone has a bonfire or bbq!
lol yes that is important. Our former neighbours did fish bbqs... no matter if there was any laundry outside.
Some people don`t consider it important enough to warn you in advance.Strange how they complain when they put their washing out and someone else caused a smell and smoke!
oh yes! I am still grateful they moved. Our current neighbours are great people.

We've only had a couple inches of moisture since the beginning of the year.
Very dry!
The farmers and ranchers are really worried.
France was suffering that way during the winter, but the rain started in April
very little snow this year
May is usually the month we get most of our moisture, but we haven't gotten hardly any.
And our winter was much dryer than normal, too.

not yet, even though people have been to the beach...esp. the Russians...they go in any weather
it would be fun to watch them from the boardwalk; they probably look like walruses
my next door neighbor starts going to the beach in early March...by May she looks like a walnut tree

and there is always at least an hour wait at our mds labs as they are so busy
lab is in the hospital, small hosp, no extras, but dr is stones throw from there and coffee shop is 2 blocks away
everyone tries to get there at 9 when they open

except one of ours opens at 7 am!!

small island here, we're lucky to have a good, little hospital - no surgery though, emergencies are airlifted, or less so, taken by ambulance
either to Victoria or Duncan
we are very lucky here,our town is 12,000 but our hospital is classified as a marine hospital and we have a permanant helicopter on site
we don't have helicopter on site but pad at the hosp. and has been known to land in a park as close as they could get to an accident
so,if you are injured on a ship,you can be airlifted here and treated regardless of residence

our medical pays ferry fare but not accommodation when you have to stay over

and the cancer society used to drive me back home for visits when i was too ill to drtive
one of the best they are
I worked downtown TO for many years, but I love the city
i am not a city fella
when hubby was going through the treatments, I drove him over to Victoria every day 5 days week, Victoria has a huge new Cancer wing
nature calls to me too loudly,our wonderfull lakes up here,loons calling of a foggy summer dawn and getting out in the sail boat and filling the sails and cutting the water in glorious silence
never been out west:(
we always lived outside city, in the Summer you could feel the difference in temp. while driving home

my Dad sold their home just before the big boom - regretted but they were living on the Nevada desert 1/2 the year and outside TO the rest - dad was still working (died at 66 at work, on the phone)

we don't even walk on it during ferry traffic hours

kaplan a good therapist in PT is a magnificent thing. dont let them hurt you but the exercises i was taught keep me pain free. i had a terrible neck issue, and lower back issue and had sciatica or however it is spelled and now i know what exercises to do so i am fine.

they were very excited because some of them saw santana on the street in nyc, which I found very exciting too, until one of them referred to santana as "she"
