we had an extraordinary situation at work on monday. fellow had to return to theatre from recovery as he had a slow bleed happening. when he came out the second time, he was left intubated and went straight through to ICU.unfortunately he had listed his niece as next of kin, and the surgeons are not allowed by law to speak to anyone else, and the man's wife was sitting there, wanting to know what had happened to her husband.
how awful
the niece was uncontactable as she was at work....so his poor wife had to wait until the niece gave her permission for the surgeons to speak to the wife.
why would he do that?
poor wife! She must be furious.
current wife...or ex?
I am surprised they hadn't listed both of them prior to the surgery... sounds like a mix up
sure does
jilli, i don't think he was thinking clearly. sometimes people put other family members down as next of kin if/when they are travelling with their spouse. maybe he thought the same situation applied.
dart, current wife, and apparently very happily married
hubby did that once with his mother - I could have killed him
for the reason you mentioned ... about traveling together
maybe he thought it would just be taken for granted that she was the closest and listed the niece as an alternative?
FWs
oh, dear, dee. yes i know, and when don and i are travelling, we list each other, then one other family member each

it must be awful for you folks over there. i shudder to think how we will react if 'they' start on us.
May I please have a clue for any in words? Thanks
still not convinced yet they are related
after the port arthur massacre, our government clamped down hard on gun ownership....and the police, both federal and local are constantly working on backyard drug-dealers/growers, and in the process uncovering heaps of backyard terrorist cells.
what volley?
in4, in + opposite of hello
Thannks much, rose.
I have been wondering today if the BMar event and this one are related in any way. I will be much happier when we hear some answers as to who and why
in5, in + not live, then plural for in6
the fertilizer plant...not related at all
in4, in + * *m grannyrose
Glad you confirmed that.
Thanks once again, rose.
in6, in + right or left
then plural for in7
in6, in + ****er, not brother, then plural for in7
A wife of one of my hubby's board members ran in the marathon, but they aren't home yet.
in4, in + **p, not bottom
She finished 5 minutes before the 1st explosion.
Oh, thanks, rose.
lucky for her
So true... really makes me sad about the 8 year old.
in5, in + in***duce, meet for the first time, then plural for in6
Thannks so much, rose.
dee and dart, have been following over here. when i heard the news while going to work, i nearly drove off the road. the station i was listening to is christian, and the presenters were calling on all listeners to pray.
like i heard today...gov can't keep you safe.....people have to start to be more aware of things going on around them....most people walk around and don't pay attention to what's going on...too bust texting, chatting etc
busy
definitely in need of that... praying now that the culprits are apprehended ASAP, so fear diminishes
i hear you dart....it seems like that little screen is more important than what is happening around them.
True, dart, but I don't want to live in a country I have to be that kind of cautious. Never thought I would live long enough to ever be nervous in America.
some people have walked into traffic while texting...don't get me started on the drivers who text or talk all of the time
dee, it was wonderful to think that there were thousands of people all at the same time, praying for the same thing.
Totally agree, rose.
sad to say volley...i don't want to either....but think we are getting there.....and the police can't be everywhere all of the time
let you guys in on a secret....it's a mobile phone.....you really don't need to be connected to the internet 24/7.
both true
i only use my phone for calls or texts....and only when it is safe to do so. over here it is a fineable offence to use your mobile phone in the car while the keys are in the ignition.
getting that way here... I only use my phone for emergencies :)
have had people in this town...in daylight...stopped at an intersection...robbed in their car...gun pointed at head and they stole wallet, car and phone...has happened more than a few times....you have to be aware at all times...never know when or where
Actually it is off and in my purse most of the time. We still have a land line.
fortunately, my car comes with blue tooth built into the radio.
That happened to my dad in Chicago in the 50's.... for money...
I'd be in big trouble; I never carry cash.
they will take the credit cards lol
:)
That's all they would get; don't even have an ATM....
*giggle* mine gets shuffled down to the lowest poin t of my bag....then all of a sudden , on a whim, i fish it out, to discover it has turned itself off because the battery needs charging. not much of a techno head here.
ditto that, rose
then with your license..they know where you live and the fact you arent home and cant call quickly
...well, on that happy note, I am gonna poof. :)
lol.....me too.....don't mean to scare everyone
Must think happy thoughts... don't want any nightmares LOL :)
lol, goodnight to both of you. hope you both sleep well, and awake refreshed
thx gran.....bye all poof
You, too, rose, and thanks again for all of your help.
*poof*
FW and I'm all but falling asleep on keyboard, goodnight anyone still here
if up to it, going off island tomorrow, just for a bit of shopping for stuff we can't get here
HELLO to anyone here
Hello, Puglet :-)
First phase done 112 words found.
*Hands Zoom some tea in a Smarty Pants cup*
Accepts with grace..hello, Molly :-)
hi Molly and Zoom
hey puglet and zooz. how are you both tonight/day?
Not too bad thanks, Rose...how are you keeping?
HI Rose--Im great this morn. And you? Things sunnier for you
okay, thanx zooz. thanx for asking. trying to keep myself functioning as our colder weather hits.
i'm either part chook or part snake....probably both, as MollyL would say, lol
:-)
i need sunshine to exist....not a lot around at this time of year.
We got severe weather coming in later today and a thirty degree drop in temps
yeah, pug, so dee was saying earlier.
What's a chook?
Thankfully the sun is out today rather mild..although very blustery.
a chicken or hen
Ahhhh.......
they need sunshine on the retina of their eyes in order to lay an egg.....not that i am going to lay an egg, lol
I was watching a programme here caled 'youv'e been framed' people send in videos of themselves doing silly or daft things...the mother said to her very young child and pointed at the chicken & said look what is it...hoping i suppose for the girl to try & say chicken...to which the girl replied "nuggets"
Pies in yesterdays grid and pies in todays ---makes me want a pie to go with my coffee! And pie crust is one thing Ive tried and tried to make and CANNOT get it --lol
lol, zooz, so true....out of the mouths of babes
pug, have to admit pastry is not my forte.....maybe with a little practice...
Found all the 8s now..yay.
nice, zooz. good job
I dont know Rose--Ive tried "never fell" recipes and lets just say it wasent like my mom or grandma threw together
puglet, that's the clue, hun. they knew what to throw together and how much of everything....they probably didn't measeure much, but went by feel and texture.
thats so true
it's like my fried rice and chow mien recipes....there are some things which are a constant, and others which vary....gives you a completely different flavour everytime.
I have no trouble with the fillings its just that darn crust!I feel untrue to myself to have to buy already made crust
awww, puglet....be kind to yourself....and allow yourself time to gain experience, hun.
ahh thank you Rose--I will keep trying
i remember this first time i made hot cross buns for easter...we used them for door-stops...lol
teehee
I like baking and cooking
it was either that or use them for skeet shooting practice. *giggle*
I made brownies once for a bake sale for our saddle club and some man bought them and brought them back saying they were too hard to eat--I never made another brownie since--lol
do you still make them
Taking a break..back later..take care.
bye zoom have a great day
awww, puglet, please try again. like i said, it will take time to become used to textures etc.
yes, puglet...and my reputation is now legendary in my family....in fact our family easter is not easter if i don't bring my easter buns along.
I think I could be good at making homemade dog bisquits--lol
bye zozz, have a good one, mate
well thats good Rose--Iam glad for you--
pug, i must i was extremely fortunate. i had a great first recipe book. perhaps if you start with a beginners book, master that, then gradually increase to more complicated recipes when you can discern textures etc .
I got to go too--Got to take hubby to town--Yes I got a good cookbook my mom bought for me years ago when I first married(still got it) I use it alot. I will keep trying until I get that perfect pie---You have a beautiful day/night and may God Bless you and yours
pug, look for something along the lines of 'best ever first cook book' my first book took me through scones, to batters to christmas cakes to pastries.
awww, thanx pug...and you and yours, hun
okay Rose--I like the older cookbooks myself--take care --good bye
and over to you, MollyL
Good morning/evening :)

the arthritis in my knees keeps me from doing much garden work so they have suffered the last few years
my daffodils are all blossomed right now so at least they look bright and pretty
I try to do as much as I can, but pay for it after But the sunshine is wonderful
sorry, leaned on the keyboard
yesterday was my 70th birthday and my husband went all-out to make it wonderful! He really did a good job and we found a great restaurant right in the lower part of the village, on the lake

I can't believe I'm 70!
we can't believe it either - maybe it's not true :)
your birth certificate is wrong
Hi all - not really here! Just popped in to see what was going on, as we have a house guest!
I don't feel it and, hopefully, don't look it (yet). It will be like the Portriat of Ddorian Gray
Glad I did though, to give you birthday greetings, Ruby :)
but my son will be 50 in Oct
You're only as old as you feel and behave!
its my kids ages that make be feel older lol
I hope you're having fin with your houseguests, lizlin. After my son comes, the same week, my friend is coming from Miami and then, in June, husband's daughter will be here
so i try not to think about how old they are
It's the kids of the children I taught that I find scary.

hi dawg, ruby, Nanette :) Weather is a little better, I folded the laundry outdoors yesterday. Sun is out now! Am feeling better, cough is again less, going in right direction... had a bad fall this morning though, body is hurting.
be back in a while
and then I have to go out and dig holes
ei4, most of duck feathers
hiya Annie, see you soon :)
i have one 8...sa8/45
oh noes, sprite. hope the fall wasn't serious and just left you a bit achy
ohhhh so sorry sprite, hope the fall has only resulted in a few bruises
that is terrible, sprite!
got the sa8, ty no no
nothing serious, just a black knee and my back is not happy
thanks for caring, all :)
rotate ice and heat, sprite on the bruise and your back.
heal quickly, sprite
jsut found an an8/40
asked my son to walk the dog, because I fell... he was nasty and angry, went to walk the dog anyway. But when I told him I would have liked him to ask if I was hurt, he first went *eyeroll* but... then he said sorry and was I hurt? He is learning (as are we). Milestone!
thanks dawg, good advice, will do that
alas, son will get there. just have to keep your patience pills close at hand.
yeah, I am actually proud of him. He accepted my criticism and apologized and corrected his behaviour. That is all I ask... well done Tim :)
but you try so hard and don't deserve all the sh** he dishes out!
bringing up our children can be a long and sometimes painful process sprite, but your getting there it seems
yup, baby st4s. good for Tim
you know, ruby, I agree. But on the other hand, raising our children is my job, and I intend to do it as well as I can, and I have to do it with the kids I am given. Looks like all in all it works out.
I think so too, Nanette. And indeed, dawg, small steps ahead will get us there.
I guess but I wish I could help you, having loved working with ados when I was a teacher *and with my own)
*final note: and I feel blessed with the kids we were given!*
I'm sorry to love you and leave you, but I have to go and dig
*woof*
bye ruby, have a good one and be careful with yourself
have fun, Ruby
bye ruby
and how are you all doing today?
doing well sprite, thanks. have ditched the sling and now able to type normally
doing rehab, nono?
oh how lovely, Nanette! You must have been so tired of that sling.
the bone is about fully healed and now just a matter of loosening things up
absolutely, sprite. And with the warmer weather it got so sweaty
never fun, but worth it.
don't overstress that arm, nono. slow easy stretches before trying to grab, lift or pull anything
yeah, sweaty and your neck gets so irritated and tired and tense. I hate wearing slings. But sometimes it is the only way to heal.
oh i know dawger, theripist has given m e some excersises to get started with
why, in a grid with lots of -in, is the G hidden in a dead corner??
38 remaining...bbiab to work on this some more...Sprite, to make us all battier? lol

What conference are you attending teach?
we will play music for the next four days and give a concert Sunday afternoon
starting off the pb well
bowed psaltery workshop
that sounds awesome, teach! I would love to come to something like that!
Oh yes, I do recall you mentioning it...didn't know it was this week...how wonderful :)
how does one get into that?
last year there was a couple from Illinois at the workshop - think from the central part of the state
google bowed psaltery symphony and see all about it - the workshop is free - the woman in charge is a resident artisan at Tasmarack and makes psalteries
wow..nice :)
this is my second year to attend - last year there were about 65 people at the workshop
how did you start playing an instrument like that?
must still be sleepy...can't stop seeing siesta
my main instrument is the lap dulcimer and some of the others in the dulcimer group came down three years ago and then i came with them last year. My psaltery is made by two people from our group
thanks, smores, you just showed me a word that is there!
lol..glad to help
I'm envious, teach. Love the dulcimer.
sissier
thanks Nono :D
Thanks, Nono.
here in WV there are many dulcimer groups - i teach one group, also play in another group - lots of music festivals that feature the dulcimer
hiya teach, Bea :)
there are many festivals / workshops in NC also
such interesting people on this chog
Morning, sprite and everyone else.
hi bea
Teach, I keep hoping to get to Merlefest each year but something else always interfers.

it was ashamed :D
np...Nono...and thanks again :)

i think they are going to be superlatives, that's the one i found
3 of the 4 have the same ending

"Astro" not accepted. Somebody get George Jetson on the phone.
:D
:)
We had a tv personality called Major Astro growing up. He showed cartoons after school.
wow! thunder is rolling right over top of each other non stop!.loving it
such a primeval feeling, isn't it crossy
wow..crossy
love it! has the windows rattling
first one of the year
lol Bzzn...ours was Cowboy Bob
Ah, The Jetsons. It predicted a futuristic world that never came to pass.
yep...still waiting :)
Yet.
Really. We're still stuck on Star Trek sci-fi.
you have to know what to read and watch with prognosticators and the jetsons was not it however jules verne predicted a lot of stuff including scuba gear and Issac Asimov predicted the calculator of all things and the orginal star trek's tricorders and communicators have indeed come to pass
Cell phones and tablets. We really need that transporter, 'cause air travel is just too damned expensive.
crossy is still wating on the transporter
what i really want is the holo-deck
visionaries, all of them. And yes, I want that transporter right NOW
Warp drive would be handy as well.
Yep ... beam me up :)
nice holo-deck take a vacation and never leave the house
that is a matter of time only, crossy, the technical stuff is already there
You would think they would have been able to come up with a damn hover board by now. Those things were cool.
'Cause I love vacations, but the travel sucks.
:D
knowing no matter how badly you mess up,all you have to do is say "computer, end program"
I could be here and there if Ihad a transporter.
i could find a job anywhere, it would be great
nice crossy :)
Or "not really here" as so many people say when they are in chat but trying to pretend they are not. : D
nd whoever said warp drive,NASA is working on it now
and we could all invade crossy for brekkies :)
lol,i always have another spot at my breakfast table
I see Smores has fallen under the influence of our British posters.
nah..just for crossy's brekkies..
Found on of my favotire words...as7.
That ends the vowels.
Time for me to bzz...Later...PFFT!
nice going Bea
oh smores..you are going to love today's brekkies, but you will have to wait for the menu a bit
and bye!
lol...I just got that too Bzzn..unfortunately not the end of my vowels though
too late, just finished brekky
speaking of food...BRB
lol,i never finish brekkies.if i am not cooking it and eating it,i am cleaning up after it.if not doing that i am looking in the fridge and planning for the next one and if not doing that i am off foraging at the store for supplies for it
i keep it simple, i hard cook a bunch of eggs at the beginning of the week and then just eat a couple every morning
Well, it is the most important meal of the day. That warrants all the attention.
oh,pippin, you must jazz breakfast up a bit more!
breakfast is THE meal of the day
well, i usually just want something to settle my stomach and give me protein before i go make the workout happen
my favorite though is poached eggs with rice and kale and black beans and teriyaki sauce
not a typical breakfast, but super yum
i eat for the joy of eating, not to calculate, protein,or salt or carbs or iron or whatever.i had a friend like that.she never just ate,she was always treating a condition lol
: O
oh no, i love food, don't get me wrong, just morning food isn't really my main thing, and eggs are super yum and easy
eggs are indeed yummers;))
give me those colesterol bombs:))
it's good cholesterol
There are elite athelets who just "eat fuel". If I ever get to the point where food becomes 'fuel", just shoot me.
never harmed me;)) i eat a minimum of 8 eggs a week and my colesterol is 96
I attended an interesting lecture once by a dietitian who believes that people who can be as obsessed with healthy eating as they can be with over eating.
agreed,judi
it's appalling how many eggs i go through - i buy the 18 pack and i buy one at least every two weeks, often more
lol, pippin.i go to the farm and buy flats of eggs
Sorry, extra "who" in that post.
I am a super-taster, which means I have an above-average amount of taste buds. New scents and flavors intrique and entice me.
i would agree with that,molly
so true molly - especially when you get into really restrictive diets like veganism or gluten free or atkins or whatever - i think it's just a socially acceptable way to basically be anorexic
Constantly counting calories, weighing food, discussing one's diet and exercise habits is an obsession too.
Good morning:)
(which is not to say that everyone in those diets has a problem, but that they attract people who lean towards self-flagellation around food)
I have a neice who has celiac disease. She has a terrible time finding things she can eat. Everything upsets her digestive system.
now, saying all this, there are several genuine conditions that must have food intake closely monitored and i understand it all
celiac is terrible
howdy jan
hi jan
health conditions that require very limited food are awful. So are eating disorders. Very, very difficult to live with.
There are conditions that require special diets. It's the talking about it all the time that indicates a problem.
hi Jan
my name is crossy s. and i am a baconholic
Hello, Crossy. Welcome to the group.
White bread addict here..crusty fresh white bread
well,i have made great strides, the mrs not longer gets bacon scented perfume or bacon earrings for presents
The first step is admitting you have a problem...nom nom nom nom...
do not get me going on fresh bread products either
Lol..terrible stuff that fresh bread
and you stopped using the bacon flavored scope mouthwash, and we're all grateful
ok.i have a problem,now pass the bacon
indeed,pippin
hello, all! Crossy, I fail to see how you have a problem?
Isn't that normal?
crossy, email :)
i know, i'm the abnormal one who doesn't really like bacon
my problem is i cannot get enough bacon on my fresh toasted bacon sammich without it falling off
actually, pippin, you are not alone as any pork products make carlee ill
*GASP*
It's hard to admit you have a problem with your mouth full. : D
i know!
I like bacon in moderation. Too much and it overpowers all other flavours.
Bacon dipped in maple syrup. Mmmmmmm.
thats why i make dishes where the bacon IS the main flavour and all others are just there for support
I don't think bacon overpowers other flavors. Hot peppers do though.
judi, ever tried baked maple/pepper bacon? it is a fav of the royals;))
Hot peppers overpower senses and flavors.
sounds delish, crossy
Hmm. Not wild about the pepper addition.
However, next time I dine with the royals, I'll give it a go.
hey, does anyone have info on the right hand s? i am stumped
now, many will disagree, but with people laying on the hot peppers/sauce all that does to me is mask the real taste of what you are cooking.heck, you could cook the nastiest dish on earth then just pour the hot sauce to it
I have no disagreement with that.
i hate hot sauce. but i love spicy things, just the red flavor of those sauces makes me sad
se6/7 combo, pippin
pippin: ends in biblical bad habit9s)
oh, no wonder i don't have it
se + end with the dried grape and plural
i was told that the use of hot stuff like that originated as a way to mask meats that were not in the best shape as they were past their due date
I rarely use hot peppers. Usually only jalepenos. I always de-vein and de-seed them. Then, I usually roast them. That mellows them out considerably. I like to dice them up and add them to corn bread.
it's also a good way to preserve things, crossy
2 left, Se5 and 6, after the visionary. Could somebody please give me a clue?
ty sprite and molly
interesting, pippin.i only know of canning or salt preservation in regard to long term meat storage
Okay - change of subject. Here at the police department today - we have a young lady in the lobby who is high as a kite and wants to make a theft report. Wheeeee!
it's not necessarily long term, but you still see in in countries with less modern technology
someone stole her stash??
was gonna say the same, crossy
please?
dont have spritee
We haven't determined what was stolen yet, if anything. Something about tennants moving out and taking something that didn't belong to them. Our officer was talking to her in a normal voice and she whined, "why are you yelling at me?".
hello again. I just planted 12 small geraniums, 12 erbena (each, 2 different types), 3 Moroccan mints , dwarf lobelia (seeds) and some other stuff. I am ready to collapse
The officer popped into the office to make a call. He's laughing about it. You really have to have a sense of humor to work here.
nm. Fireflies. Bye all!
Se 5/6. River?
Congrats, Spritey!
Whoo hooo sprite
You must get a lot of that Judi.
I'm back :)
((ruby))
WTG Sprite :)
tc ((sprite))
LBD, saw a funny Maxine yesterday: Laughter is the best medicine. Except for diarrhea.
hi again ruby...wow you got a lot done
boo, molly, kitten has that today, it is awful
they're pr3edicting cold for tomorrow, but not frost, so, hopefully, all I planted will survive.
ruby, your garden must be lovely
stats for teh 4th column E please?
It has had some good years, but itvaries a lot. What I've learned, though, is that perennials are not necessarily perennial
ei5/12
Lol Molly.
And ei4/5
it's my first garden, so I made a lot of mistakes, but it is sometimes very beautiful
that was a fish, molly, and I missed it
There are no mistakes in gardens. Anything you plant and nurture is not a mistake. No matter how it turns out.
the tiny evergreens we put in the first year for winter interest have, in some cases, become monsters and have had to be edxcised
but it gives me enormous pleasure
don't you think pouring acid all over a garden would be a mistake?
YOur garden sounds lovely, ruby. I need to get going and get my flowers planted. Maybe this weekend if mother nature cooperates.
??hurshy?
We are also expecting a cicada hatching this summer. Gee, can't wait for that. Uhg.
molly said there are NO MISTAKES in gardens. well, i have the kind of mind that immediately goes to how to disprove statements.
So, hurshy, how long have you had these thoughts of herbicide?
just fell on the floor, hurshy
i SAID it would be a MISTAKE!
Ihave a mouse companion in my studio. He's very cute and I can't catch him, Brown and hairy
Hi hurshy :)
hi smores, hi all :)
eck...ruby
A mouse? In France? How is this possible?
I've never been this close to a mouse and he is really adorable; any suggestions for a name?
do your dogs go after it
melchisidek
that was what sara crewe named her rat in "a little princess"
for some reason, the dogs don't come in the studio. I think it's because it was "Ruby's place"
aww
I thought there were no rodents or small mammals in France.
why would you think that????
Mouse name: Mr. Jingles (From "The Green Mile)
I loved that movie, Molly
He was a cute mouse.
Judi ... didn't you ever see Ratatouille ....lol
The French have eaten all the rabbits and deer and have worn all the squirrels, but there are still moles, voles and mice and probably, in Annecy, rats
or you could name it martin, after the young boy who died in the boston bombing.
Ah. Okay. I remember hearing about the eating of some of the creatures. Rodents still remain.
the women have fur coats that look like they're made from mide -- too many tiny skins
aww...tha's sadt
I think Martin Jingles and I hope he comes back tonight. I'm putting out a little dish of cheese
Ruby says they are depleted of other animals (I forget which ones) due to them all being killed for game.
phew, cat has calmed down after giving her some rice. let's hope her system clears up!
*thats sad...keyboard randomly backspacing again
pippin\: rice and carrots
Wow, Pip's animal grew from a kitten to a cat in ten minutes. : D
poor kitty
carrots. good to know. i gave her a teaspoon of yogurt too
she will always be my kitten, molly, but she is 12 years old
Update on the theft report: Reporting party says she and her girlfriend were smoking crack. Said "friend" came in and took computer as "trade" for providing the crack. When asked the value of the crack that was purchased, party advised, "$20.00". Hee hee hee. You can't make this stuff up.
I called Ruby my puppy girl until the end
WTH Judi...that is nuts
and she was 10 and weighed about 75 lbs
Oh Judi, the stories you must have. : D
Judi: you couldn't make that up!
Believe me, we are all getting a good laugh out of this one.
judi, that is, er, priceless
Trust me, there will be no report. The officer is now only in it for the entertainment value.
Would somebody please give me a clue for the right-hd I?
hand*
oh thank you ruby, that's the only one i need for nbt

phantom" bistro
Ruby, you ducked out before I put triple chocolate cake, ice cream, party hats and champagne in the PB for your birthday. Sorry I'm late. Have a great time celebrating yourself.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (((RUBY)))!!

quenelles*
It was a very good birthday but I don't believe my age!
Happy Birthday to you, Ruby!!
Good. Don't. You are as young as you feel.
When Molly and I write my book we can all retire to Mallorca
TY Peri and Crossy
we can have a babble compound with revolving babblrs
I am missing an 8. I have an, sa and re
Di
Sorry Ruby, but no. Babble Compound sounds like a cult house. : O
help with i and s in right column pls
I have the same o nes, peri
ty for th di8 (and 7)
is6 pl of 1st generation Japanese-Americans
i in right column is plural of Japanese immigrants - I think.
no Molls, I have that word
not seeing the di8
you need the plural, peri
the di is twisted
I don't have the di7 either
Plural of to twist something out of proportion.
Hello again...chocolate cheesecake in the oven...mmmm
tyty for di7/8
After re**ing about sprite's fall, I had a "sympathy tumble* in my garden.
I'm on my way, smores, that's my fave
oh..are you okay?
I'm sorry but I still think i in the right column is the PLURAL of Japanese immigrants.
I didn't hear of sprite's fall...hope she is well also
I'm fine, thanks, my head missed a big rock by about 3 inches
I think hers was worse than mine
Tumbling Babble players.
the ground is uneven and I was looking t my new lants -- falls are always stupid
at* plants*
still need the i and s in right column pls
I've fallen and I can't get up!!!!
wow..glad you're ok ruby :)
Grappa + gardening = Not a good mix : P
wsn't even drinking. Our grappa resto didn't open for lunch today so I had to cook
If I fell and couldn't get up I'd be sh** out of luck because my husband would never find me
but the garden is starting to look pretty
The i in the right column is the plural of the Japanese immigrant.
I|'m sorry, that was probably too New York for this polite chog! Bad nel
Polite? Hahaha!
lol..not bad nel :)
The s in the right column ends like dried grape and plural.
I would think that the most bow-legged person would be the ba**iest
:)
106 ad fading fast. Good night, friends, and thanks for your good wishes
Good night ruby...sleep well {hugs}
*Wonders if Peri ever found the is6*
hi molly can you give me the stats on the last column s?
se6/18 and se 7/28
ty Molly
does anyone have further clue for the di? i am not getting it.
is the is 6 from i in the fifth column? i cant get that one either.
the di8 is pl of the di7 to alter something in a strange way
i am just not getting it.
last column is6/18 is + the se4/4 babblet
to di***** an image, to change it, to alter the image, to make it look weird . .
ty got the is.
all i keep thinking is disect. darn.
alter in a strange way. just not getting it. which D? maybe that will help.
if you look in the crazy mirrors at the fair your image is dis
i still am blocked on the word.
Alter in a strange way...twisted...out of focus...bent in an odd way.
mkg, for the second part of the word, think Di* + a kind of pastry. or lawyer move.
ty. that did it winding
GOT IT.
TY TY TY
Wow, whew.
it's hard when your brain gets stuck thinking a particular way =)

i know some one who has alittle machine, that somehow cooks it, smokeless, collects the vapor in a bag, and inhales that, seems like a lot of work to me
good grief that's a lot of i words....
The best I've heard of is Weed Pops...as in lollipops.
those machines are still somewhat involving smoke, just not open flame, so while they are better on the lungs they're still not awesome
i'm sure it will be legal in my lifetime
i went on a date with a guy who was really excited about eating weed infused hard candies, and had pot gummies. but he was a giant loser so i didn't stick around to find out details

they did not become mainstream till the early 70s
also, i refuse to admit that's a word
i came into companies that were trying to migrate off of paper and onto the computer in the late 60s

Most companies still insist on a back up paper trail, which is really pointless.

That works
hi all!
hey sue
hey sue!! hugs to you
hi stid!!
Stid I have been thinking and please don't take any offence but have you thought of setting up a special Amazon wish list account with anything and everything you need on there so if anyone wishes to send anything to you now or in the future we can?
thanks, bugs!
HHi Sue
hi herin, and that is a great idea!
great idea herein
yes, lady and I have started putting one together. But right now... I don't even have space for the things we have with us!
But, yes. I am putting one together.
I have just discovered the wish list... and yes that is an excellent idea. very simple to use
feather and nrk suggested it a little while ago
Also Amazon always you to use any other website too.
It is easier to think about the books than the stuff I really need... *sigh*
my dream house has an actual "library" in it.
Doesn't have to be right now but if you set one up as you are going through everything you can go 'O need that forgot about that' and stuff it on the list
more fun too stid. You need something to keep your spirits up until you can move in to the new house
That's a great idea, lady -- thanks!
I have a wish list for things I have seen or missed on TV and will track down at the livrayr
hm... I might need to spend some time tonight with Tom and Grant talking about the things we need to ask for.
I know that all our living room things have to be replaced.
And I mean ANYTHING could be as random as going to Target linking them up with AMazon for a pair of socks
really? we will need some additional clothing as summer comes along.
Really
I second that stid
Or go to Target.com and put up a Wedding Registry
hmmmm.... wanting to not be acquisitive just as my life was finally "simplified" and yet...
was stuck in grid...finally down to 25
;-) too late for a wedding registry! LOL
go smores go!
Great idea...and yes anything :)
last st 6, please?
nan was here, and disappeared?
oh -- there you are!
Well it is better than a baby registry at least they suggest useful things
FBI Now at scene
hi nan!
I have a plural for a thing that holds something in an upright position nan?
Well Stid everyone needs socks, undies, clothes and coffee/tea
past tense of walking with long steps nan
um, bugs has "tea" covered! which reminds me I need to check the marches site.
oh, thanks bugs!
so I need the far right s (above the g) and an 8-letter word, and am shamelessly begging for clues
have that ty stid -- need the last one
ty bugs
There is a package of something g'mere suggested coming to you soon stid. Sent with love
*!* ta da *!* - thanks for the help :)
??? that Mother! she is so SNEAKY! so are you... *stern mama look at bugs*
YAY nan!!!!
thanks Bugs :)
Besides I think a registry allows you to set up mailing address so you don't have to give it out
yay nan!
WooHoo nan :)
GO StidMom :D
I made her do it. Go easy on her
rofl
how are things going with the homestead, stid?
they're going, nan -- I am doing better with getting things done when I am there. The first week just walking in the door was too overwhelming. Now I can get more than an hour of solid sorting in before I have to stop. Having springtime in the garden helps. :-)
Stid can I please make a suggestion
always, lady -- you have good ideas.
I say you get one of those cheap Ribba Photo frames from Ikea and do a collage of all the items that mean something to you but are now a little bit crispy like your book pages and fabric and put your old house keys in there too. Add a saying that means something you and yours.
I like that idea VERY much! :-D
It doesn't have to be anything that makes anysense to anyone but you and yours.
I have to get a frame for 2 things - one a dress I wore as a baby and the other the stuffed toy my birth mother made and left for me at the hospital. It was stuffed with stockings and has sadly disintegrated all on the innards.
Clues are up
testing ;-)
finally finished :)
What a wonderful idea herin :)
YAY lickety!
Stid I shared with you the ikeahackers website because it has so many different ideas
sorry I disappeared.... I like the ikea hackers site. Don't visit it nearly often enough, but it's marvelous.
YAY smores!
Yah Smores. Ikea is too expensive here to mod it
I am so glad you have that toy -- and the dress. Good for you.
We got one of the cheap Fullen washstands and put the bit that goes on the wall on the floor and then put a cat box in it. The doors stay up but if you need extra bench space close the doors and yes even madam fatty can go through the gap
smart
lol...nice
Lucius is so big and long he needs a high box. Plus we are limited on space
I am gonna head to bed....night all
Night Smores
