good morning everyone:)) i got caught up in a interesting old film that was being streamed on crackle.it is the original 1937 production of lost horizons directed by frank copra.was very interesting in an early sort of gone with the wind type way:)

and the history behind the film is even more interesting.how they came this close to losing the entire film due to time and degredation.how it was edited many times for length at first then not to offend in ww2 then not to offend asians in certain times and places,then the frantic search for other copies than the master.they found a replacement for the entire audio reel but came up 7 minutes short when restoring the video

it is not so bad.the 7 minutes is spread throughout the entire restored film and they use studio photo stills of the actors in question for the few seconds here and there that are needed

lines can run from that valve,under the floor,between walls.i have no idea how much line there is from inner valce to main outside tank

in one of our cottages for example,we had over 20 feet of line just from the inner shut off to the main tanks
the shut off valve inside itself could be faulty

My family of origin observes birthdays. My personal practices developed over time as I witnessed the hypocrisy inherent in setting aside specific days to practice kindness.

that means that too many people I know are nasty to others except on their birthdays and "special occasions" at which time the recipient of "kindness" is supposed to be grateful. It's hypocritical.
Not just in my family of origin, but in the culture at large.
So I don't observe "days" -- I honor people.

oh, that I can answer -- it's an idolatry issue, ruru. To bring gifts and celebrate an individual is to take the glory off their god. On the other hand, the people I have known of that faith are kind and loving to their families year-round. Children have what they need, food is healthy and tasty, homes are comfortable and well kept. Instead of being pulled together for just a day or a season, the emphasis is on living properly all the time.

BIG time, Min...I spent all of last year filing and getting turned down. Now we're going to court and if I win I get all that back money in a lump. They're turning down EVERYONE now. Even turned down a guy I knew who had terminal cancer...and he did die. Very sad. And it takes 15-18 months just to get a court date!
I really think they're hoping a lot of us will die before they have to pay us!
The survivors can still sue, however, for the back money.
I need all kinds of additional tests that I can't afford because I have no insurance and in our state of Arizona I can't even get Medicaid because I'm not supporting small children....how STUPID is THAT?!

Absolutely, crossy. And with me they only needed to carry me until next month when I get early retirement. At the beginning is when you REALLY need the help...trying to get better.
Not only was I very ill, I had to worry about getting my rent and other bills paid every month. It was absolute torture.

My allergies get so bad that I get sick with bronchial problems and can't breathe. One day, I was so pa4/5 that my Principal sent me home.She told me that I was the pa6/21 she had ever seen me & that I needed to go see my doctor.So I left work and saw my doctor. I also bought Allegra that was on sa4/4.Allergies seem to run in my family. My mom's so 4/4 grew up w/allergies, but then they went away.I never got my allergies te4/4 I was in my 30s. I took an allergy te 4/4 and I found out I was allergic to anything living that is not human.Oh sh 4/5! Husband is being an assho4/5 and demanding the computer. I'm going to go do something el4/4 like cook so4/4 francais for dinner. I will be back later on to clue
