have a copy of independent doctor's report in which he emphatically states i should not be working, at all. GP has now put me off work for at least 2 weeks.
what is GP?
alas, he also states he is not qualified to comment on whether i need surgery or not. he recommends i go to see a knee surgeon.

and so here i sits and waits. doc also prescribed a sedative so that i might have a full night's sleep. i feel so ragged.

so do i, hun. haven't slept properly for months.i know there other people who don't sleep at all well, and my hat is off to them, for the way they can continue to function. i simply cannot.

it went ok. The group is nice. Kind people who listen to eachother and try to help eachother. Bit of fun too, we have laughed together as well. Therapy is very very intensive and confrontational. Could barely manage. But muddled through and I guess next time will be a little less daunting.

i'm off for a further 2 weeks. independent doc's report was there. he has told workcover quite emphatically that i am not allowed to work, even in a sedentary job.

it is months since i had a full night's sleep. i know there are others who function day after day on very little sleep. but i cannot.

you need the sleep, rose, for all the healing your body has to do, and to compensate for all the stress your mind is in.

I have another brag tonight which flosey will appreciate -- in bridge we came second to Mr Flosey and beat Jeff and Nancy -- gave them a hard time. (They are real experts).

when my kids, all 3 of them, were suicidal, i quit my 45K/year job, and went on the sole parents pension of $7000/year. to this day, i don't know how i managed. i was paying off the bank loan for the house, paying all the household bills, fed, clothed and educated 3 growing boys..wh5 my d******d of an ex decided he couldn't afford to pay anything towards the upbringing of his kids...
