Hi there, Liz.
How are you peach?
hiya Liz
Doing ok, thanks, Liz. And you?
Alls fine here thanks
Sounds great, Liz.
have a nice eve / day all! *poofing with hugs*
May I please have a clue for my6-30? Thanks
A very high number - might describe number of stars
Thanks, Liz. Looking.
My 6 - not a number like ten - more like a descriptive amount.
Gosh, Liz. I feel so dumb.....googled it and still can't find it.
It goes diagonally up
Thanks much, Liz.
Ends in almost a math term - not subtraction.
I am so thankful for all the clues.
Wish I could clue it better
You did great, Liz. I was going in the wrong direction.

sorry

g'day and cooe from me
Hi Rose :)
ooooh, liz, girl. how are you? thanx for all the beautiful photos. i feel very spoiled, dear.
Np! I love taking photos, though at the moment those are just from my phone, so not processed and not the best quality.
they are good enough for me. and lovely to finally catch sight of your lovely face, too.
Lol!
I hate being photographed!
oh, and liz, i think my FM is finally starting to settle. i was actually so cold last night i had to snug up to don.
That's really good news and snuggling up to don is a very good thing!
i hate being photographed also. i always feel i should suggest the photographer put on a fish-eye lens in order to get all of me in the picture.
Better than slinging the covers off!
I loved those pics of you and the family
you're very kind liz, and what does your seeing-eye dog say?...lolol
Lol. It says the same. Really happy to have caught you here - it's been a few days but I've got to go. Hugs.
hugs dear. take care
Greetings Friends
Hugs and Hi Rose, did I miss Liz and Sprite:(
did you like your outing
hugs my dearest pugs. how are you, dear?
you missed liz, and sprite is going out again thia morning and won't be in until later
it was wonderful. and with the aid of my walking stick i walked about 1 kilometer, over 1/2 mile.
Please - another save my sanity moment - the re7/28 ?
re7, re + double consonant + ple***, not thank-you
good morning everyone:)
g'day crossy. how are you mate?
not too bad at all, rose and you?
surprisingly well. i walked over a kilometer last night, with walking stick. that's over 1/2 a mile.
very nice.:) My beloved and I are heavy into hiking this year for general fitness and to save our knees.
how's mrs crossy? is she cruising?
I have bursitis and the wife has arthritis in the knees and Dr says "use em, or lose em"
i worked with full weights on my ankle on monday in the pool, and will do again tomorrow morning.
she is well other than a few general aches and pain that come with life
I am glad you are coming along so well:)
sort of agree. it depends on how degenerated the knees are. i was bone on bone when i had my surgery.
yes, there reaches a point when all the exercise in the worlk will not fix the knees, then it is on to the next step
mind you, at the time i was doing 10 hour shifts, plus 2 days of gardening, including the mowing of over 1/2 acre every weekend.
wow! got tired just reading that!'
are you on the herbal remedies as well? i.e. glucosamine, chondrointon..
sec.. let me see..
red krill oil? garlic?
says "collagen glucosamine"
chondroiton, shark's cartilage. it has kept arty ritis at bay in my hands for over 10 years.
though pharmacist says it is a real slow, gradual thing
I have horrible arthritis in my neck where i herniated three disks over 10 years ago
last CT scan I had said my neck was full of it:(
no wonder it hurts:(
do you get your natural remedies from pharmacist? check out the prices on these sites...progressive health and vitacost. they are very competitive, including postage and handling.
yes, I think you gave me some info on that. I have it in the computer somewhere. I can see we are going to have to buy in bulk
aww, crossy, i know mate. my last CT showed every, and i mean every joint in my body has arthritis, including the sutures in my skull. ( where a baby's fontanelle are)
well, crossy, put it place right now. the more you can save, the better, right?
both sites give regular customers really good discounts.
Indeed. Looking as we speak because this last bottle of capsules cost 15 dollars for 30 pills!! ouch!
I keep forgetting about the morning babble reset at 06:00 am
and back. steak and chips never tasted so good. ;-)
mmm
best revenge for the trials and tribulations of life is living well:)
and corn on the cob, baby peas, broccoli..
*giggle* absolutely
I have to wait till september for the good corn on the cob:(
ugh. frozen no good over there?
well, i mean right on the cob corn itself
frozen is ok
I mean fresh ears of corn where you can still smell the sunshine of them and you dump about 3 dozen ears of them into a giant cauldrom in the back yard over a bonfire;)
we splashed out and bought an electris vegetable steamer. the flavour is amazing. each very individual.
cauldron
yeah, i hear you crossy. that would be wonderful.
steamers are nice. Keeps more of the goodness of your veggies intact:)
and you can cook all, except the leafy vegies at once.
very nice:)
I have one of those old fashioned metal steamers you place into a pot of water. it is a perforated , hindged contraption and opens up like a flower petal into 8 segments and holds about 2 cups of veggies
hinged
we just add the leafy vegies, spinach, silver beet, at the appropriate time.
the best before this cooker was the pressure cooker. the amount of vegies i have cooked in a pressure cooker...
Good day to all.
hey ya scrabs. are you good today?
Crossy is afraid of pressure cookers. My mum had one where the seal failed when i was a kid and it was a disaster
howdy scrabby
roflol, crossy....like the pea soup hit the ceiling??
Sipping coffee and waking up. My sister went back to New Jersey yesterday and I return to work today.
it was EVERYWHERE!
Hahaha, Crossy. How long did the clean-up take?
enjoy that coffee, scrabs.
we are up to 5 k hikes now scrabby, three times a week(weather permitting)
all day
darn cookers things are dangerous
Great, Crossy. My sister and I walked everyday for 5 days.
and gulping collagen glucosamine:)
Just stay mobile. Immobility is the beginning of the end, Crossy.
we felt the stirring of the land of no-kness and do not wish it
My mother's knees are horrible but she is too old to undergo replacements at age 83, thus she must endure pain and stiffness. we hope to bring her home from the rehab facility on Tuesdya.
glad your mum is homeward bound
oh, scrabs you are wonderful, dear. by home is mom's home with you?
my da is 71 this year, abuses and treats his diabetic needs halfheartedly and is heavily dependant on a walker:(
cannot talk to the man at all
Her own home, Rose. But it is a tri-level (split-level) home so stairs are an issue.
My brother lives at home and will be a big help but my mother must manage her own needs in the bathroom unless my sister or me are there.
as it would be, scrabs. that will be difficult for her. surely the rehab. centre would have inspected her home.
she will feel so much better I am sure, once she is in a family environment once again
Not yet, but we discussed the house. Grab bars must be installed and extra stair railings.
She said she would rather die than be stuck in anursing home forever.
do mom need all that house at this stage, scrabby? can she downsize to something single level?
She owns it and would never leave after living there for 50+ years.
sigh.. that is usually the way
my M.I.L destroyed herself right till the end trying to maintain a 3800 sq foot home she raised the kids in and for the last 15 years her and fil rattled around in the place like two peas in the bottom of a tin can
Good morning
howdy sukee
g'day sukee
Mom's house is not big and she wants to be on the level with the LR, DR, and kitchen. But that means using 5 stairs to get to bathroom.
Hi sukeee
scrabs, any chance of converting the 5 stairs to a ramp?
i was just thinking of a ramp!
lol snap!
We are considering a stair lift.
for 5 stairs? wouldn't it be cheaper to put a ramp in?
I thought of a ramp too. For now Mom wants to try using the stairs.
Paying attention here. Luckily I live in an apartment. I can't do stair anymore due to muscle myopathy. I pass by houses and think I'd never be able to live there.
Oh, sukee. Do you manage ok?
*tearing hair out* that's what my mum did...she used to go up the stairs, BACKWARDS, dragging her walker after her. don't let it happen, scrabs. it's nail biting.
Not bad. I currently have a walker, got a raised toilet seat and bath bench.
I still work out 3 times a week to stay mobile
falls at this stage do more damage and they never really recover afterwards. My farther in laws decline started that way after a small fall where he broke his shoulder
Rose, Mom will make a decision soon. I think she needs to try the stairs in order to make a adecision.
good for you sukee....my hat is off to you.
Yes, injury leads to immobility and deterioration.
and i mean small, he slipped on a bit of loose carpeting and landed on the floor
That was my issue crossy, had a bad fall a couple of years ago that messed everything up. Broke my fibula, then last year I badly sprained an ankle. So now I have a walker and I feel a lot better.
man never weighed more that 140 pounds soaking wet at the best of times
I am glad you are improving sukee
I may end up in some assisted living facility one day, but this myopathy is slow moving. I actually work out at the place I wouldn't mind living at if I had to. There is an attached apartment building that gives you independance but help when you need it.
On another note, my best friend just called me last night to tell me her husband of 20 plus years met someone else and is leaving her.
yes, it is good to plan ahead
Good, Sukee.
oops! not good
Came out of the blue.
unfortunately, us kids weren't as assertive with our mother as we should have been. we allowed her to stay in the family home, with some support from council carers, until she decided to move herself into a nursing home, where she spent the last 6 months of her life. she was so happy there, and she ofeten said, she wished she had moved sooner.
that is what we have for our da, our version of council carers called "community care access support"
but my da is stubborn
sukee, that's awful, hun. your poor friend. such betrayal.
Even I get a woman in once a month to clean my floors for a discount :)
I have always seen her husband as rather immature. He love to hang out with his friends in bars a lot in his spare time. Due to health problems she can't drink any more and stays home. He thinks he is still in his 20s
there is something that does not lend towards long term bonding:(
leaving her to sit around while all his outing revolve around the bar scene
mid-life crisis...someone should smack his ears together. and remind him of his vows he made 20+ years ago.
And right now she is dealing with a mother with dementia too.
They had been through some hard times but she thought everything was fine. It's possible she was ignoring signs, but still. Anyway when he told her last night she kicked him out of the house.
phantom: turducken
lol
It sounds as if she is better off without him, sukee.
indeed, rose. My beloved and i are on phase 2 as i like to call it and we have new interests we share together. Our son is an adult now and must find his own way(with gentle guidance0. I am back in school as you all know and the mrs is going to be taking some classes. we have our nature hikes that we both love. Life is pretty good right now. just need a lottery win:)
o-o, nice to see you, mate. glad those tornadoes didn't get you. were they close to you?
Eventually I guess. But she is 54, hasn't worked in years other than volunteer work. He does make good money at Microsoft and said she will be taken care of.
Do you ever get tornadoes that far north, o-o?
good gief, just looked up turducken...what a meal!!
There was a big one about 3 hours away from me Scrabbler
For sure.
we had one touch down near us two days ago scrabby! Town of Angus
Yes, that is where I'm talking about
ugh, o-o.
small f1 or f2.
Oh, yes, I read about that, Crossy.
ND is on the upper eastern part of tornado alley
we got the tornado warning and it hopped right over us and landed in Angus.
There were warnings in this area
It was quite a system as it passed through eh sukee?
well for what it's worth, i'm glad to see you all safe and sound.
Had 80mph winds, my balcony door was rattling like crazy.
now we had heavy fog this morning, go figure.
tornadoes get quite huffy
yay, got the my words :)
nice sukee
oh my, ro** and do* are both in the grid. Probably 50 people have already mentioned it,so so***

nice to see my GF from France:) It is so exotic. I toss it out there at parties and to get the mrs going:)
ty for making me smile, crossy
definitely exotic! rofl
:) laughter is the best medicine
nothing hard about this grid ... other than finding the words
that and a bottle of vodka
naughty crossy...bet the missus isn't laughing...or if she thinks like me, she probably has a stitch in her side by now...
she knows me do well and allows me my various insanities
too
speaking of booze, there is some in the grid
Mex beer?
si
for part of my law class, we had to partner up with a class-mate and brew up a pre-nup as officially as possible so i chose this beautiful young lass of about 20. Got a good mark as well. When i got home the wife said 'well, how did class go today?" and i said " fine dear, I set up a pre-nup with a hot blonde 30 years my junior but we have yet to set a wedding date." lol
did she smack you with a pot roast?
my prenuptials were simple .... what is mine is mine ... what is yours is mine
sounds like my wifes terms o-o
she said either a fast annulment when the time came or she would leave me for the other woman and i would be paying two alimonies
I know when to admit defeat
reminds me of zsa zsa's quote about being a good housekeeper
admitting defeat or "every wife needs a good woman"
yay half. newspaper time
see you kids later

clue for the my 6 & 7
a whole lot of stuff
will do trif
id8, I + finished + I live outside of the c*** limits
Wow...what a strange word. TY dawg
an8 is the plural of the an7
ty ldb, new word for me
the older one is a CIT for a month, then I guess his passion is golf so that' what he will be doing, the younger one is the same as your kids. When I grew up I lived on a street with loads of kids, I always wonder what kids do in the suburbs.
don't have the an7
oh, methinks that m is going to be a bugger
I live downtown and there were very few kids in my area :(
I just clued it trif. a whole lot
my6 and 7 is lots of things
id8 means appropriate, fit or suitable.
clue for the an7 pls
thanks for the 8 - thats NBT and NBS
My kids appreciate the down time and no schedule, so I only plan a few things which they have chosen. Otherwise, beach, pond, pool, or hanging out.
phantom: anaconda
Nice River
an + vowel + robot ending
Peri, I am AN7 by the bugs thsi summer always in my face

Nice
cyre
*wipes brow* thank goodness that is not a real word
there was a carnival going on - nice lights, beautiful ferris wheel, etc....carnies (shudder)
Help please with the bottom O? I only have the OY 4/6 from there.
needmy 6&7 for fireworks
need my6 & my7 for fireworks
matches, lots of things or people
thanks! needed that for nbt and nbs.
that word always reminds me of the movie "heathers"
car.---iron or* and bewares of the **** of March
TY dahling
just beware
But those are from the upper O...but I still needed them
I gave you the plural
oh, youre right
Good grief...they are putting those Gosling kids back on TV
So many proper nouns today....A brand of frozen potatoes, an artist....
....an actor....
oh dear....just got sent a link to a vintage dress web site....want them ALL
delete
but i would ROCK them.....
but they would deplete your bank account
vintage styles are MUCH more flattering to the well, bigger ladies amongst us
I know...I love them too...but seriously...where would you wear them?
fine. I'm sending you and barb a wish list for my birthday - hahaha
WORK
I would totally wear them to work. we have a rather strict dress code, and these fit the guidelines
Oh, ok.
You may have 1 ...and yes, send us your wish list.
hahaha
OK...need a break. Plans still pending for this afternoon Trif?
absolutely. weather is looking peevish though
ty Annie finally got the mys
OK
:)
Have a great day all {[group}}
bye car. enjoy
Hi folks
hi bichon
hello bichon
have the AN 7 / 8 - what is the other 8
id 8/55
i hav 2 an/7 but not seeing how to get an 8 from that...different word?
the an8 is a plural..has a robot ending
hmmm
too many co's *sigh*
an (2 letter word) meaning ahem + robot ending
anconoid is so too a word. damn enable!
but it doesn't look like it is here in the puzzle
the n isn't next to the c
although how you know that word is beyond me
i swear it is in the puzzle:(
no, it is not, crossy cleans glasses
it is a phantom
hint for the id 8, pls
It's not in the Merriam Webster Dictionary
it means "resembling an elbow"
id 8 resembles an elbow
why would there need to be a word that means that
just a ten dollar buzz word " the bend in the river was anconoid in nature"
wait i am confused is it anconoid or id word that means elbow shape
anconoid resembles an elbow, the id 8 is something else I ddon't know
missed it - did anyone ever clue the ID 8
no, but I'd like it if they would
i + finished + I live in New York C***
tyvm Annie
thanks Annie
wow. that's a mouthful!
youre welcome
thnx annie
for sure!
got it from someone's clue, dont remember who gave it, probably Molly or o-o
ty annie
youre welcome
sounds like a word someone made up while having a few too many drinks :-) and they were trying to say identity
I googled the an word you were speaking about, crossy, it's a medical term
lol, babs
yup, but you can steal it for other descriptives as well;)
woohoo nbt finally got the m words :)
and good morning
yes, you gave a good one
yay JJ
or HH
you can call me JJ.
ditto what Harry said
:)
be back later
is there anyone who has the M words i can't get what they are
my 6/30 and 7/44
ok
phew. halfway.
Good morning, all!
hi judi
Uhg. Cat insists on playing. Must delay Babbling yet again.
96. bbl
Poor Judi, her life has been overtaken by the cat. Judi, we hardly knew ye.
I did the math the other day and we spend more money on cat food and other sundries for the fur-babies than we do on the grocery budget for their human slaves.
lol crosshair - same here 3 x cats 1 x dog and only 2 x humans - we eat the cheaper varieties of our food but they eat the more expensive varieties of their food - crazy !!
yup same here. top tier food for the kitties, scratch and dent bin for the humans
It astounds me how expensive it is to have pets. What with food, vet care, etc. And then I am further astounded that people have more than one pet.
just did the math; food (wet and dry food) and littler are $125.00 a month alone
I have only 1 cat that I wanted and got 14 years ago, the others are all hand me downs from family and friends that could no longer keep them
litter
yup they come to you and say "I am moving and they do not allow pets, can you take fluffy or he is off to the vets and the big needle and the rainbow bridge" before you know it, you have two or 3 pets
exacterley crossy
Wow, you spend less than 125 dollars a month on groceries?
that is just food and litter. vet costs, toys, catnip and other things are not in that figure
i would estimake 2k/ year with vet stuff on average
a
hi all, clue for the my's please
shots/tags/ flea treatments/ microchipping, it all adds up
my's are many things.
cross, i do the shots myself. they are between 8 - 15 at tractor and supply
it saves a lot of money
Oh my, I would be terrified to give an animal a shot.
wish we had that sort of option.
and the flea and tick...i found Seresto® for dogs and cats and it is great. it is a flea collar that lasts for 8 moths that goes into their system. online they go for 40 -48 dollars
And from what I've read here, it sounds like it's hard enough just to give them a pill.
just walking into a vets and sitting down costs $100.00 lol
and they really work. i take in a lot of strays and my dogs have not gotten fleas yet from them.
I do the flea application where it is applied the the scruff
i was diabetic during pregnancy, no i can give shot to anything
and the cats goes up the nose
this is the same thing kinda cross, but it does it for you for 8 solid months
the shots are easy to get online cross
hi all.
clues for the 8s please?
for cats, again it is up the nose
an7/8
id8 clued below

sorry
ty
i am not a know-it-all, just cheap

good ideas come from many sources sue:) so not to worry
how far down for a clue for the id8 and who clued it i scrolled but didnt see it?
well, speaking about 3 mutts starring at me....gotta go for our walk
bbl

ty
an+vowel+ i have a smart phone that is an and****
an+ vowel and then 4 letter: many people have vericose veins in their rectoms called hem*****. singular is the 7
or that mag
mkg
ty got it.. i had it right but it just now took it
sorry
did you get it mlfan?
good.
2nd column i?
IR 4/5 - angered
nbs
got it ty
last column E stats please?
never mind
nbt and nbs
ok what does that mean - nbt / nbs?
no blank tiles and no blank stats
its not something you have to do or anything
aha thanks
NBT - no blank tiles (letter tiles all have at least one word from them) NBS - no blank stats - each word stat has at least one word
it just means you got at least one word from all the letters and a word from each word stat
gives us a goal to strive for - also people will mark making it halfway
yep. I figured it was something like that but couldn't figure out the acronym
that way if you don't "finish" you have met at least some goal along the way
I play at work so I'm just happy to find anything :) Means my day isn't super crazy
no one told me to go to the pb earlier:) so 5/14
Personally, I've never understood why NBT and NBS are so important. But most people here find it very exciting.
Also Kiani, people here speak in acronyms a lot. If there is ever one you don't understand, just ask. Half the time, I have to look them up. : D
molly not everyone finishes the grid its just a goal to at least get to a point of accomplishment or that they have done enough with certain grids.
brb
That's great. Everyone can have their own personal goals.
I don't understand why sa5/12 is a word. How can you make a past tense of sa4/4?
yeah I figured that. :) Most of them I can get but some of them are too babble-specific for my brain
dr
When I first started playing here, I wondered why people who are so intrigued with words didn't spell them out. But that is the way of internet communication, I have found.
Harry, that is a question for the man behind the curtain.

Sukee, I read what you posted about your friend earlier. The guy sounds like a total loser and she is better off without him. Men having a mid-life crisis who leave their wife of 20 years almost always live to regret it. I wish him long lasting erectile dysfunction.

fireflies. Last word the id biggie. New one for me. Yay for a2z. Bye all, I wish you a blessed day and a peaceful night.
Une, is that a stargazer lily?
Hi Peri
back from the hair salon. I had it cut shorter this time. was tired of the bob
It looks like an anastasia lily to me.
could I have a clue for that id 8, please?
never heard of that lilly, Molls
What is shorter than a bob?
will look it up. brb
I got a very short haircut this week too.
*Wonders if Peri got a buzz cut*
Stargazer lilies are beautiful and have a delicious aroma
I didn't get a buzz cut, but it's pretty short.
i have tr 5/10 that means a group of three i need the other tr 5/10 please?
stargazers open flat and have speckled throats
My hair has been long all my life. Short hair would not look good on me, I think.
not a buzz cut tho I had a very , very short hairdo years ago that was almost a buzz cut.
a mia farrow, peri?
this haircut is shorter in the back and more cut in at the bottom. the sides are a bit shorter. the top looks the same. it needs to be colored. the gray is coming in at the temple and it is not flattering
not quite as short nan
I gave up on long hair when my son was born and he learned how to pull it
but my hair is baby fine and it is hard to find a style that looks good on me
I do have a lovely wig but I have never worn it and am planning on donating it to someone who needs it more than me
I went to all the trouble growing mine out so that I could wear it in a french twist (easier for travelling). It was easier, but also aged me about 10 years, so back to short again :-(
I understand, nan, but no need to look older than we actually are
id 8, please?
well I am stuck with 93 left. bbs
tr 5/10 clue please?

I don't see how to make that work
thanks wolvie i appreciate the attempt i am still attempting lol. i have 48 left
Bich gets a pass on her clue. She's had a tough day. : )

The left overs will be good. They were the first time
I agree with you bich..Jon's mother always gave the leftovers to the dog
if you are happy bich that is all that matters :-)
Hey, I was just joking Bich.
Dogs don't get leftovers here. Occasionally they get some cheese
they had a St Bernard..she could eat the couch

ttfn nan
my regular domain has been having trouble switching hosts.
i just heard thunder i might be back
Kiani, I didn't mean anything by asking why you didn't chat. Just curious. : D
:D it's all good
Glad to hear it.
Kiani just so you are aware when you post a link in chat a backslash n is always added before the .com
I just take it out
no idea why it does that
Yes, it's better to transfer your link on tinyurl.com
yeah I noticed that...
The \n (it's actually a front slash) is bad code that Dr. God has not removed from this site.
I should just post it in my profile - ideally wordpress will give up my domain and let me transfer it over to squarespace but right now the sites are not speaking lol
I'm good today
You are always good, West. : )
all those hearts and flowers running through my brain
actually you are right on this one west. Sorry Molly but backslash is "\" and forward slash is "/". Just fyi.
:( I killed chat
no you didnt Kiani. this just happens sometimes lol- various and sundry reasons.
just lots of intense babbling, perhaps . lol
Most of the UK is probably watching the football
England v Uraquay
hi Chrissi :-)
e even- sorry :-)
Hi Wolvie
I'm not a football fan, plus we're losing. No surprise there!

Game on again, Chrissie! 1 -1.

We've got some lovely football mad neighbours. Flags up in the garden for all international games. When we lose the flags come down as soon as the final whistle blows. Guess that could be soon :(

We are crazy go nuts football mad in these United States. But I think you all are talking about soccer.
:D ttfn to all
Hi, Soodle. Do tell me what flavour you are
I think Soodle has left the building.
never mind, molly. You are right, the World cup is all about soccer and we English have forgotten how to play it well.
Hello babbleworld!
Hi, Jilly
Hello friends. Nice to see you jaxx
Hi, Bugs. You will never guess what but the Social Services cancelled the appointment as they had a child protection emergency.
YAY! I had a feeling they were just doing their duty but were not really concerned. I am so glad for all of you - especially the young one.
Jaxx, does that mean you are off the hook regarding their concerns about your grandson?
He is not very well tonight. He was sent home from school with a high temperature. He has a cut on his thumb and I think it is infected so it is off to the local A&E tomorrow.
poor guy
Molly, they have sent an educational psychologist to see him and he cancelled too. In an ironic turn of events, Ash was awarded a prize for making great progress at school. He can choose a day out with his peers.
So all the people who were concerned about the original problems are not concerned anymore?
Well done for him! Great progress at school is a terrific indicator of success.
It seems that in a fortnight he has gone from a matter of concern to a star pupil. Beggars belief really. he's the same child.
It loos that way, molly. Better if they worried about those children who do have problems
I wonder if clearing out some of the extra stuff at the house helped too? I know I alwasy feel better when things are not so cluttered.
Possibly, Bugs. I don't know why they suddenly backtracked but then I couldn't see what the problem was in the first place. I do know it upset me.
Holding things for relatives who are slow to collect them is not fair.
I went to my sister's 65th birthday party last weekend. It was not a success. We have such different mindsets and she will start crying whenever she feels things aren't going her way. It turns out that she has sold the more valuable items she was left so I now intend to get rid of the rest ASAP
You need to do what will make you and your immediate family happier jaxx and I am glad you can now do that without guilt. Just keep a few of the most meaningful things that remind you of your loved ones instead of all of them. It works.
One of the things my mother left was a beautiful fur cape. It now has a new home with the costume designers who dress Downton Abbey so look out for it.
Gotta run a quick errand...bbs
I have got the most gruesome fox cape complete with dangling legs and claws - ugh. I just know that no-one else will want it.
How exciting jaxx. That show has so much influence and so many people appreciate the costumes.
My sister was quick enough to sell that fur.
Oh gee, it sounds like your sister is sad.
You are right Molly. Sadness and grief can bring out the worst in some people.
I think she is, molly, but she has a husband who is a most unpleasant man and it is he who has put them in their current state
Wow
Does the name Pilkington mean anything to you?
I've experienced sadness and grief, losing my parents and losing my husband. I never felt like it brought out the worst in me.
I don't think it has brought out the worst in my sister either.
She lost her financial prop when my mum died and that has altered her outlook.
Last weekend was an eyeopener for me and that ends that.
Does anyone have a clue for the id 9, please
i + finished + Anniebrook lives in New York C***

LOL, I worked.. Plus cottonwood 'cotton' blowing now, not a good time to go out with allergies
Oh how I miss the beach!
ah...too bad...i don't really swim.....but the beach at the ocean here is beautiful, a cove with big rock ledging on both sides...and close by...
I have been watching tennis at Eastbourne today. Saw two young upcoming American lasses fighting it out. Love tennis but can no longer play, sadly
Glad you had a nice time at the beach, Pen!!!!
ty molly!
too bad jaxx....i am playing as often as i can because i don't know how long i will be able to play...
I lived for one summer in a duplex that sat above a cove like that! My favorite times though, was walking along the beach in the fog
Oh to be 19 again!

You're welcome Pen!!

Falling down an uncovered drain stopped my playing days. The left ankle swells while you look at it these days.
bummer....i get sore achilles sometimes but that's all (knock on wood!)....
I was quite a player in my day but I just watch others these days. Enjoy it while you can, Pen
i will!...
It is midnight here. I have to go check on my poorly grandson. I will go to bed then. Night all. tc
