well rose, you have no idea how I bless you all day long. First, the stockings. Not half as much swelling in feet and ankles. And secondly the magnesium. I take it a couple of times a day when I am hurting this much, and it helps. Not as much cramps, less nausea.

we have had the new lead light windows delivered, and i was phoning the glazier to come and put them in. himself went into a spin as he still hasn't painted the new putty.
it has been over 8 weeks, so it is well cured. upshot? one of the 3 windows is now primed ready for it's top coat. a second one has been cleaned and masked with tape.

oh and i saw the physio this morning. she is fairly certain the stinging in my knee is due to soft tissue being pinched in the prosthesis. i worked in chest deep water and it feels fine now.
oh am so glad, rose. So the soft tissue is no longer in a position where it can be pinched?
i just want them finished.
no, hun. there was some swelling in the knee, and the deep water work brought down the swelling, so the soft tissue isn't being forced into the prosthesis area.
oh lol... I have an appointment with my sugar nurse in an hour and I totally forgot to get my bloodwork done last week. She won't be happy with me.

I can be, indeed. My F.I.L was too stubborn to use a cane or his walker, so in his last year he was falling once a week at least and breaking one bone or another. He never really recovered from his last fall which broke his arn and left shoulder

Actually, we had two very mild winters about three years ago. I think most of the US and Canada did.
and did i forget to mention the high humidity in the summer and you cant drive down the streets becuz the pot holes are so bad... gosh i love it here...
was actually kicking snow off bottom of my car..well turns outi was kicking out the bottom of my car..rust..

I think the most extreme climate we have ever lived in was when we were in Montreal and only because of the humidity -- Southern Alberta was a close 2nd but at least it is very dry there.

It was fine for about three weeks but being stubborn, like his mother, he wouldn't take it easy and caught his left foot and twisted it. This set him back to his pre-op state.
It may recover.
he was promised by his surgeon that if the pain was still bad that they would put him on the list for a replacement knee. Then they forgot him and he didn't get his post op check up until 12 weeks had passed instead of 6. On seeing said specialist again no mention was made of the replacement, only give it until the end of August and see how it goes. Not very satisfactory but that is the NHS for you.
Very frustrating for you both jaxx
If he babies it, it may improve.
It is worse for him because he is such an outdoor person and he can't go fishing because he needs crutches.
