Greetings Friends :)
Hi Pugs :)
hugs and Hi Liz
loved the pics, Liz
Hugs - I heard your good news - about work and your hubby! Excited for you
It was amazing!
I will email you soon but pretty busy over this next week.
thanks Liz---I heard all about it--:) So happy for you ---okay
cooee and g'day from me
How've you been keeping? It's ages since we chatted.
Hi Rose :)
love and hugs Rose and sounds like you have had a grand old time
doing well. knee pain just about non-existent. muscles aching from physio.
Hugs rose. How's life?
Rose, so sorry I missed your and don's ann. I send all my good wishes to you both
*giggle* see below. loved the pics, liz.
Like I said to Pugs. It was amazing and wonderful
Happy anniversary - belated!
I want to go out to eat with you Rose, that sounded so yummy
thanx pugs. it's silly i know, but we both tend to play it down. we feel as if we speak of how happy we are, it will be snatched away from us.
Know what you mean.
oh, dear the screen's gone all blurry...lol
:)
I understand that Rose--send you both very much love
that happens when smoke gets in your eyes--lol
and i thought it was don in my eye....
oh, I heard from Sir Joso--he sent me mail
pugs, how's the cold. oh, good. i emailed him, said how he has been missed.
alot better Rose--but still have alot of junk breaking loose
Feel better soon, pugs.
good to hear, pugs. getting more air in?
he wrote me a nice letter but didnt say anything about his training or how his heart is doing
yeah, i noticed that too. hmmm...time for another granny email i think. naughty man!
Iam Rose--but its been cooler and the air not as heavy
get onto him Rose--lol
Think I've missed out on a lot!
we are talking about Joso, Liz
I noticed he's not been around. Is he OK?
he wrote me a nice letter but never said too much about himself except hes living with a aunt and uncle
he is okay, liz. just settling in with aunt and uncle.
He moved out of his apartment?
yes, liz.i have a thought in the back of my head to do with settlement with wife?
Rose was yesterday your ann. date
Makes sense.
yes pugs, the 10th july.
thats too bad---He liked it there
Iam writing that down so I dont forget again--or hope I dont--lol
has sprite been on yet?
I dont know for I have not been on long
Haven't seen her.
I hope she is resting
oh, lord....our new house of senate is in uproar. liz can't you do something. you live closer. clive palmer is having tantrums, the new senators don't know what to do...it's hysterical.
you ladies got big plans for the week end?
Sounds like typical politics to me!
i think i said dinner out again on saturday. and if it's not too chilly, deacon's footy match after church.
you did and I wish I could come too--lol
Quite a busy weekend for me, then a very busy few days. Back to normal next Thursday or Friday!
Time for me to go. Hugs to you both - and to sprite if you see her.
do enjoy Liz!
as don says 'normal' is a setting on the washing machine. you plan on doing the laundry on friday?
hugs and bye Liz
{{hugs}} and xxx, liz
Probably Rose. Lol
My boss wants to up my hours here in a week or two he said
could you handle the increased hours, pugs?
Iam going to need to Rose with the divorce coming
I have never been on all my own before, Iam a little scared but excite too
hmmmm. you are keeping account of how much money you are piutting into the household budget, aren't you? W can't claim alimony from you, can he?
no, he still makes more than I with his ss
well i am hoping he can't make a claim to half the house, as it has been his home for so long.
I dont think so,, I had all this before we were married and he dont want no part of it any way
i know the house is in your name. but over here, our legal system sees the home as a combined asset, and the one who is leaving, is usually allocated money by the court, in lieu of their 'home'
he only wants his personal things, he dont even want to go to the lawyer with me--its just going to be plain and simple
okay, i certainly hope so, pugs. just make sure there are no loopholes in your papers which he can hook into at a later date. btw...has he been looking for somewhere else to go?
I dont know Rose---I havent been mean about any of it. He can have time to make plans to where he wants to go or do--I have tried to be as fair as I can be-I dont want any guilt on my mind
and so you shouldn't have any guilt. you have been more than fair...
Iam sorry he has that illness and I know its more then he would show me but Iam not him, so I feel good about myself in dealing with this and thats what matters to me
Carol and her hubby are coming tonight and we plan on going to a fleamarket tonight and then they are camping so I should have a nice week end
lovely, pugs. i know how much you like carol.
well she is my o4 friend here in real life--lol and we go way back--we are more like sisters then friends
w4 you go out to eat all that yummy food eat enough for me too--lol
I love seafood
np's pugs...will do
giggle :)
so how are your boys and their families doing
last i heard all good....i like to think that they would let me know if something was wrong.
Iam sure they would
Rose, I need to go and shower and stuff--so if Sprite comes on please give her my love and love to you and Don and enjoy your night out----hugs and bye
i will, dear. hope your day is kind to you.
xoxox, pugs
good morning all
morning my darling sprite. liz and pugs send hugs and love, hun. and here's some of mine, too.xoxoxoxox
:D Thank you :) *hugs* right back at you. How are you today?
no pain, just a bit stiff and achy. and you, dear?
sorry to have missed the others... guess my body decided it was time for a sleep-in
awww, nice spritey. i get to sleep in tomorrow, if i can....lol
and the dreams?? how have they been??
not too bad today, thanks :) Good to hear you have no significant pain.
could be worse. Spent the last couple of hours trying to pack my bag in a huge hotel, couldn't find my room, couldn't find my stuff, kept getting lost. Not too bad as dreams go!
lol, that sounds like me trying to get out the door to work 3 days /week
*giggles*
some mornings i get to kiss don goodbye 3 times...my bad.
lol... in the netherlands, there used to be this famous singer Heintje Davis, who kept giving final concerts. So now when someone keeps coming back, we all yell: "Heintje!!!"
over here it was dame nellie melba. she gave so many farewell performances, we call repetitive goodbyes doing a nellie melba.
oh lol, that is exactly the same thing then
wonder what it is in the UK or the USA?
my turn to cook tonight and I don't wanna
no idea... they probably have their own boomerang singer, lol
toasted cheese sandwiches, and a mug of tomato soup sounds good.
I wish. Not enough for my husband, and I cannot eat tomato soup, alas.
what's in the freezer/fridge/pantry?
one-and-a-half cucumber. Some apples. Cheese.
any rice, eggs, frozen peas, corn?
rice, yes. No eggs, no peas, no corn though
oh, dear. grocery shopping on the cards. why not the fixings for fried rice?
now that is a plan. Good idea. Thanks darling.
it's a one-pan meal. and top it with a chinese omelet, broken up. i also add bacon/ham pieces. (for a protein )
good idea. Saounds like a lovely meal
*minus A
i pack it out with lots of veggies too, peas, corn kernels/baby corn, champignons, water chestnuts.
water chestnuts?
chinese vegetable. not a lot of flavour, but have a lovely crunchy texture to contrast with everything else. and don't forget the chinese 5-spice.
ok, I think I can get the water chestnuts here. But not the 5-spice, alas
okay. can't get it there in time for dinner tonight, but will send some over for you. gives the meal an amazing flavour.
oh wow! Lovely :) Always been a bit jealous at your spice mixtures there. Like allspice, and now this one.
wish I could send you some dutch goodies. But it seems everything food will be destroyed at customs.
*wonders if 5-spice would get through in the post.* can you check for me please sprite? and let me know?
Back for a few minutes! Hi and hugs :)
yes, no problem. We don't have strict customs like you do.
Liz!!!!!!!!!!!! *hugs* for you and your husband.
oh, okay. can you not get allspice either?
:)
no, no allspice here. Alas.
how are you both, Liz?
Wouldn't have thought they'd be too difficult to mix up in a grinder.
We're both really fine, thanks.
good to hear :)
probably not, Liz. I'd have to go to Amsterdam, to the Albert Cuyp streetmarket, and get all the ingredients. And I would have to get the ratio right.
Ah! Things we take for granted in Aus and the UK!
wb liz. oh and sprite! a terrible tragedy befell your osso bucco!
oh dear, oh dear. Did it get eaten?
i ate it....
Do tell!
thought so, lol. Well, it found a good home then.
A good end for it then!
but you will be pleased to know it was delicious....lol
snap, Liz :)
Great minds,
this is amazing...the way the four of us all think alike...
soul sisters, rose
Friends tend to do that
But I like sprites reply better.
Time to go. Hugs again :) xx
*giggles* Some day, my friends, we will be sitting in the same room and world beware...
xoxox liz
bye Liz, have a good one :)
*smug* left, middle and right column greyed out
yay, sprite. nice job
3 more Ws and I'll have the 4th column as well. Tiny baby grid, harharharrrr
sprite, how did your beloved take the netherlands defeat in the world cup? tell him from me, my heart felt sympathies. monday's match is gonna be a doozy...lol
he wasn't too upset, lol, he was just sorry it was such a horribly long game.
fireflies. Last word was Le7.
WTG SPRITE!!!
oh and rose: congratulations on your tin wedding anniversary!
my last was wh5, weird word...
awww thanx sprite....
guess I had better get going, sigh. Groceries to shop for. Blech. So overrated, grocery shopping, isn't it.
i know...it amazes me how some people find it such fun...all i go is boooring!!
yeah and stressful. Well, off I go. *hugs* my darling. A blessed day and a peaceful night.
i hope you have a nice day, sweetie. take it slowly, and rest frequently, right?
I will :)
xoxox sprite
Hi, rose!
good morning everyone:)
((crossy)) 3 am here...can't sleep AGAIN. How are you?
I am fine, mimi. I am sorry you cannot sleep. Just coming up to 06:20 am here and I am starting my day. My beloved has just gone to bed. She could not sleep last night either. Happens sometimes.
Lately my problem is I'm falling asleep too early in the evening so I wake up around 2 and that's it...I'm up. In the best circumstance I'm a bad sleeper, so a challenge just makes it worse. But at least I don't have to go off to work or anything. I can work at my own pace here and take breaks when I need to.
yes, that is one fortunate thing in your case. I try to get to bed between 9pm and 11 pm. That way I am up around 5 or 6 am, or bladder o'clock as I like to call it (I have not had a need for an actual alarm clock in about 5 years now)
My alarm clock now is my cats...never let me sleep past 5 when I'm able to sleep that long...they're HUNGRY!
Good morning, a short one for a Friday
I was woken up early by my cat too :)
waII know that feeling. I have one kitty who will gnaw on my fingers or beep my nose with his cold, wet nose to wake me up
I have an alarm on my iPad, when the cat lets me sleep I wake up to the sounds of "Good Morning Starshine"
Yep...it's their world and we're just living in it...here only to serve them!
lol, do not know where that word came from:) it is also typo o'clock for crossy
That's a great wake-up song, sukee!
I thought so too: :)
♪♪memories...light the corners of my mind♪♪
good morning starshine is from the "Hair" soundtrack, is it not?
I have the new Hair Broadway soundtrack on my iTunes. I loved that when I was a kid and played the record to death.
Correct, crossy.
snap
I miss the 60's...sigh. And the body I had then...double sigh.
LOL, yep, I was a skinny kid until we moved to Canada and I have my first banana split.
I even liked disco....Donna Summer and Abba...sigh again.
and before puberty
My favorite music eras are the 60s and the 80s
Kids do not know what they are missing. i once wore out Floyd's "The wall" record by playing it over and over on my old quadrophonic system. Thing took up an entire living room wall and now the kids can play it on an Ipod nano the size of a postage stamp
I was skinny until my 50s...then hormones went wacky. Going to try to get them fixed soon.
Yes, and the scratches, putting a penny on so it wouldn't skip
lol, yes I remember, and the lint brushes to keep you vynal prisine
I got rid of all my records in 2003 when I moved west for a year, I still miss them. I had a great collection.
I was lucky, I had a state of the art (1980 model) sony direct drive linear tracking turntable
Hormones fixed?
Yep..hormones. Need to do a combo thyroid panel and estrogen, etc. Cardiologist thinks that once we get that adjusted I'll be able to lose weight again.
But, you know, I'm not overweight...I'm just too short!
For this weight I need to be about 7 feet tall....
Aren't we all? I have an extra probably 20lb that will not go away and makes itself at home in my stomach
I've gained so much it's like carrying around a Siamese twin that you really HATE.
lol@ a mere 20 pounds
I have a solid 50 that needs a new home
Well, it could be 30 :)
could be 30...lol
I don't weigh myself :)
I don't even want to talk about it.....let's change the subject PLEASE.
Okay, back to music. Do you like 80s music?
with a few exceptions the 80,s are the nuclear wasteland of good music
give me the 70's and before ,please
I was raising 3 kids in the 80's and my husband was out of town a lot....I barely remember the 80's at all...or much of the early 90's.
I was very into 80s New Wave music. Mostly English.
I all remember of the 80's is all that synth music
in 1980, i turned my radio off, and hugged my record collection to me tight and did not turn the radio back on till 1990 lol
Weren't there a lot of "hair bands" then? You know...Cheap Trick, etc.
Just think The Police Roxy Music, Depeche Mode, Thomas Dolby, Allison Moyet, etc :)
the few exceptions being Dire Straits, Clapton etc
U2
bats on skis, skinny puppise..shudder
puppies
Mimi, I know you prefer to do things naturally. Are you at all concerned about taking synthetic estrogen?
hi all. any clues for the 7s?
Planning to take bio-identicals, Molly.
I saw a concert once, it might have been Skinny Puppy. This music sounded like a vacuum cleaner and I did not stay long.
Cindy lauper hiccuping her way through girls just wanna have fun.. run!
Now also researching nutritional estrogens.
Oh, and the best band of them all The Smiths :)
My beloved was on synth estrogen and the horric list of possible dangers and side effect made her decide to go off them
horrific
I was never on estrogen because I have a history of breast cancer. My menopause started because of chemo so it has all been natural for me.
Hence, I have to shave my chin every other day :)
Yes, crossy, they can be bad. I wouldn't go on Premarin...made from horse pee.
I can offer you a few good beard styles:))
:)
I was lucky to inherit a trait from my paternal grandmother...the hair stopped growing under my arms and on my legs several years ago. Legs now smooth as a baby's butt and never need to shave.
I love when you type in a word you don't think is real and they take it
No facial hair issues either, thank goodness. Have enough to deal with already.
I don't have to shave my legs much at all.
Oh, yeah, sukee....smart monkeys!
I am a natural blond so the hairs don't show up that easily, but there is one hair on my chin that is pure white
They have that new gizmo (called a No No) that you can get that permanently removes hair, or so they claim.
Painless, too...probably akin to a laser.
I have heard of it, but I have heard not so good things about it online. I would have to try it myself of course.
Off the subject...I made the best slow cooker chicken and brussels sprouts last night. Used Lipton dry onion soup, paprika, a little cayenne and butter to top the chicken. Sprouts under whole chicken and absorbed all that great juice...very tasty.
Could I get a clue for et6, please?
That sounds great mimi, especially since I haven't had breakfast yet
Sorry Marc, I don't have that one yet
any clues for the 7s?
I haven't found any of those yet either :)
Marc - the et is a gas/
Ah, ty Dianne :)
So easy, too...love the slow cooker. Have only had mine for a few months and got the biggest one Amazon had...an 8 quart. Can put a whole roast with potatoes and carrots in there as well as a whole chicken and veggies. Wish I'd had that when my kids were young....only had a crock pot back then and it was too small to feed 5 people.
I bought a slow cooker from a friend for $5 and it works great. It's big enough for 1.
Doh, I meant I have a crock pot... lol
I call it my slow cooker :)
Generally when I cook I make a lot because I love the leftovers.
When autumn comes around I'm planning to start making soups and chile.
chili
I like a good stew and chili
I've even made meatloaf in the crock pot
OK---now I'm hungry, too! Going to get a bit of breakfast....bbl. Oh, yeah...I made the best brown sugar meatloaf in mine...yummy. Later, all.
anyone have any of the 7s? sorry to break up the crock pot conversation....
I only have one 7, mkg...the w.
Putting off eating breakfast until I work out, then I have a bagel and cream cheese and coffee
I am over halfway and still haven't found any 7s yet
I really like bagel with cc and a nice slice of tomato on top with a pinch of sea salt....yum.
would love a clue for the w 7.
le7 and wr7 x2
Morning all!
hi sue
Has to do with composition.
ty marc. any clues?
How about a clue for he6?
ty justw got one of the wr 7s.
((sue)) Glad I'm still here....I was doing my research on benefits of CoQ10 and apparently it helps with side effects of chemo...just wanted to pass that along.
I was lucky, I never got very sick on chemo.
Other wr7...add an n on wr6
wr one sent a letter had to wr***** it
Ok, thanks, mimi! We still don't have a biopsy, unfortunately, not sure what's going to happen after Frank gets out of the hospital.
what you do with a pen past tense
ty mimi
You've really have been through it and back, sue. Holding good thoughts for you.
the other wr change the 4th letter
yw
i have the wr: past tense word. not other one. confused.
he 6 another gas
Hate these frustrating little grids. Now going to get brekkies...bbl and hugs.
Bye, mimi!
ty got the other wr. to move about in pain. ty.
I'm off too, time to get read to go work out
ready
sorry PMS didn't get the clue and didn't fine helium
suze!!
terrible they are making you wait this long for biopsy
he6 is in same family as et6 (same ending)
funny that is the other 6 I am looking for
Well, Frank was too messed up inside for the surgeon to be able to do it safely
Poor frank. how is his recovery coming along?
Dunno if they'll start chemo just on the ct and pet scans
mmm:(
Frank is gradually feeling a little better, no digestive activity yet
how are his blood tumor markers?
So we'll be in the hospital for another few days yet
if anything will convince them to start chemo, it will be the marker figures
Tumor markers are up a little but not really high
with my lymphoma, it was markers alone that caught it, the mcahines did not, at first
Before the first chemo they told us his tumor wasn't putting out the markers so they couldn't track it that way
Frank is having a rough go of it:((
Indeed he is. And he hates the bag.
I really need more help on et6 and he6, please? My last two 6's.
He6 starts with a prefix meaning 6
the he uses the high tile in the left corner
got the he6 thanks
got the et6 as well, thanks
Et6 ends the same way as he6
ty suze
ha
that is to say hi
howdy pabtrek
nice to have a small one
can finally catch my breath after all those big grids
hi crossy
Hi kids.
hi Scrabb
howdy, scrabby
Hi scrabs and pabtrek!
And fireworks for me
hi uusue
Yay pabtrek!
Yay pabtrek
Nbt, finally, also nbs.
thanks uusue, the only problem with small grids that I have no excuse not to get my day started
I don't have much time. I need to get my kayak on top of my car and get to my friend's house. I am finally going kayaking--first time this year!
yaaa for scrabby!
Sue, how is Frank? And what was the ultimate problem? Adhesions? Flare of the Crohn disease?
have fun Scrabbs and everyone else have a great day as well
I am so impatient with getting something in the water, i usually have to nudge ice chunks out of the way on my first trip!
Frank is recovering slowly, and we still don't know what the ultimate problem is.
te 6/21 plz
I have the only canoe that is in need of a ice prow.
Best guess is still a recurrence of the cancer, but we may have to wait until the stoma heals enough that they can do a colonoscopy through it and get to the other side of the blockage
:((
He does also have a lot of adhesions. Surgeon said everythig she looked at looked like it would either bleed or rupture, so she couldn't get any biopsies.
Aha. well, it appears that he is recovering nicely.
Crohns was all in his small intestine so that is less likely.
Yes, he's doing pretty well. Bored and sore.
Where is Trifioso? Her name (Trif) is in the grid.
((Frank and Sue)) I must get going now. Enjoy the day, everyone.
tc scrabby have a good paddle
Finally, a grid I can finish
I have not finished a grid in so long that i forget what it is like
good morning all- on a day i need a big grid because i am stuck in the house- and we get this - figures! :D
howdy wolvie:)
I like big grids, and I don't know why...
and howdy all.
hi jbp :-)
howdy, JBP

Good Morning - that was the fastest fireworks ever

Where's everyone at this a.m.?
crossy is here. Just bouncing between Babble and my manuscript
Just grayed out the outside border :)
It's too early to give you a clue ye4 (double consonant at the end)
well, digital manuscript. My days of longhand with a fountain pen ar e long gone
What's a fountain pen? Just kidding. I am that old.
we still have tons of them in the house as my wife still uses them as a hobby
One of the things I liked about the movie Shakespeare In Love was how ink stained his fingers were from constant writing. (The main thing I liked was Joseph Fiennes...yowza)
All the Fiennes are fine.
fireworks!
congrats!
Fireworks me too!
congrats!
Pyrotechnics everywhere
i can't figure out he 6/36....
it's like how many of something your car's gas has, only not 8's but 6's
you are cluing the HE 6, right?
yes
like think about a commercial for gasoline and how they would say it has "high oc...."
and then take that word and make it to do with the number 6 instead of the number 8
ty...i found it...
i was trying to incorporate a wrong letter...
Oh Pen, there you go, incorrectly incorporating again : D
yup....
What's with "yup"? Is it the new buzz word?
i found wr7
have people got other ones
dk....it's just the word that came to mind... :o|
i am done!
WR7x2 One ends in a number and one ends in chicken.
ok thanks
PEN IS DONE!!! SOUND THE TRUMPETS!!!
yaa for penquis!
ty ty ty!
Sorry, Josephjames, What I meant to say is they are both spelt (Spelled) the same except for the last three letters :-)
oh ok
I understood what you meant Zoom : )
So did I zoom and thank you.
Yw :-)
could I have a clue for the he7 pls?... I didn't get the last one
Starts like a curse or a spell add the gasoline ending
is that the HE 6 or an HE 7 - got the HE 6 that was clued
ok...so I must ave the petrol ending wrong
It's a 6, there is no HE7
don't have a list yet - just checking
It's a gas ingredient ending. Other words that have it start prop, oct, etc.
oooohh.... got it...ty
so I have the wr7x2...whats the stats for the other seven pls?
LE 7/32
LE 7/32
ooookay...
It's a bizarre word Rolin.
related to LE 5/12

The lights on Broadway

Think stockings Peri
nm
ty molls
NY 5/14 - womens hose
28 left
HA! I beat the never mind!!!
others have said that this is an easy grid. I do not think so. 27 left and stuck
do NOT think that this is an easy grid - no endings to extend words, too many vowels
down to 22 left.

monkeys are helping
giving myself a pedicure which is cost effective but tedious
I agree about the tedious part.

12 left, going to lickety
fw, aslindy do you need any clues before I go?
sorry, I stepped away... no, I think I'm good, thanks
ok happy babbling
good morning, all -- was hoping for something smaller, just not quite this small!
hello nan!
Hi, nan and lindy
Could you give me a clue for ca6. It is driving me crazy. Thanks
tin container + ms. bly
Is mrs Bly a north American person? I have no idea who she is.
tin + dicken's curiosity shop girl
at least I think that's the one she was in... little ***?
a clue for the single i pls?
I am clearly uneducated as I have never read any of Dickens. I am sorry for being such a pain
Ca + double letter + spanish for the
Rolin...clean that cut or it'll get in****ed
tin + beginning of Mr. Mandella's name
Thanks, Orme and nan for being so patient with this thick person
perfect.....ty ormal
yw jaxx
I am surprised I haven't worn it out - my welcome, that is
you are obviously not American or Canadian, so I'm sure a lot of our clues are confusing for you. Where do you live?
Nah, it's good jaxx.
I live in a small seaside town in Devon, UK
Yw rolin.
ooh - we spent a month in that area a couple of years ago.
We are between Torquay and Exeter
This does not excuse not having read Dickens. My English teacher will be whirling in his grave
I shall have to go. A hungry husband is calling for his evening meal. He got lunch so it's my turn. bbl
we weren't quite that far west -- closer to Salisbury, then another 2 weeks in Eastbourne, Sussex
That sounds like a lovely trip nan
yes it was -- in between the two stops in the South of England we went on a cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
How long were you gone?
a little over 7 weeks
he 6, please?
Long time to be away, but worth it
we usually go for a minimum of 6 weeks whenever we go to Europe -- usually combine a cruise with renting an apartment or cottage somewhere and just exploring as the mood takes us
anyone have a clue for that he 6/36?
He+ crossing sign letter + sugar c***
uses the highest tile on the board
ty ormal
*!* ta da *!*
Congrats.
ty - any clues wanted before I leave?
love the photo ormal. Why Maine? do you have family there?
Nope. Never been there either. Hubby wants to grow hops. I don't care where I live, as long as there is grass, trees, and water again.
would have thought Maine is too cold in the winter and too wet for hops. They are grown here in one of the hottest driest areas of the province.
I don't know. It's his pet project. I can barely keep houseplants alive.
he might want to check that out - as I said, really not sure about growing hops. Just know that 5F is a really cold night for us in the winter and -22F is not uncommon in Main
*Maine
Maybe Washington State?
mind you the best areas for growing hops there is just to the south of us -- also at the northern end of the Sonoran Desert
gotta run - hagd everyone :-)
I have finally finished a grid. Hallelujah!
I'll ask him. Hope your day is good too Nan.

Is it binge-eating if it's just vegetables?
Nope ruby
Oh like little tiny Ruby has to worry about binge eating.
I just ate 4 baby artichokes
feel like I swallowed a cow!
Oh, well, off to Weight Watchers with you then.
hahah
It sounds like a teaser for the Dr. Phil show...Next on Dr. Phil "People Who Binge Eat Vegetables"
rubyfoo, the artichoke junky
I guess it's better than chips....
That would depend on what kind of dip you have
Maybe your body is craving some nutrient that artichokes are high in
fiber??
GI nurses are big into fiber!
It's funny that you say that because when I was young, e.g. I used to crave liver every few weeks
ooh, quick half
and good night everybody
Niters ruby...sweet sleeps!
<---!!FW!!
and off to go swimming...it is hot here! *poof*
Watch out for those bow-legged men.
my doc is so big into fibre, that if I ate everything he wanted, I would be farting dust! :)
my doc is so big into fibre, that if I ate everything he wanted, I would be farting dust! :)
Crossy is back:) run! save yourselves!
and darn machine hiccups as well
Just because chat is so dead, here is something to amuse you. Believe it or not, smelling farts is good for your health. http://tinyurl.com/pzcc6ct
haha. I am so glad I got to see that post Molly!
lol, I have done my tidbit of the day, so have at it, but farts?? lol
No competition for your tidbit, just a random alias factoid.
ewwww
lol, must go check out the health benefits:)
I thought women with gassy husbands might take some solace.
Or people with gassy pets.
or men with gassy wives lol
though i must say that my beloved has a lot of catching up to do;)
Is the LE 7 a word that I should know?
No
Dang. May I have a clue please?
only if you want to finish today... :0
its my last word...of course
le 7/32= a river in Hades
i need 15 more. and time's a wastin'
Got it!
Fireworks!
though the river Styx takes all the glory:)
yaa for car!
TYVM!
any clues needed?
The river in Hades is the le5. Le7 must be like that river, although that seems a strange word.
yay car!
it is related. You would just refer to it as the le7 when talking about something floating down it
does not come up often in day to day chatter:)
prefer to spend my eternity on the Styx; I hear they have cookies:)
Indeed
All I can say is they better have vodka:)
I think that would be the river Lush
lol
I can see it now; pimento olives bobbing along in the currant
current
if one already ad the river one would be bewidlered by that clue.
since they most likely got it from the original clues, I am not too worried
If anyone else chirps up with a request, i am sure we can steer them in the right direction:)
interesting. stuff
movie time bbl..poink
and i must leave, alas
all the while, refelcting upon the phantom "trifecta"
That was my phantom today as well.
missed the needlecase alternate!

Explain yourself, Jaxx...
he was interviewed in the Weekend magazine and explained that the insurance company would not let him go into the lake.
Wr7/44. Add a cons to the 6/33 before it.
got it, ty
But the 'dry land' shots were him, right? (In those tight britches). (Drooling again).
and got the wh 4/20
5/20
Oh yes
The wh5/20 ends the same as the tw5/18 that means a not quite teenager
Thanks ormal . Got it
Oh yes. OH YES. OH YES.
Calm down, dear. It won't do your blood pressure any good
Clutching my smelling salts as I type....
You must be nearly done, Jaxx & Sukee?

First time I have finished all week
Hurrah for sukee
And by the way, Hedwig is Harry Potter's owl.
Whoo-hoo for Sukee!!!
Way to go sukee
Yes he is, but has nothing to do with the play
I should stop watching baseball, I'm just getting depressed
My team is on a bit of a losing streak
Yes I know that, but Soodle asked if Hedwig was the Harry Potter owl. : D
Pssh, Sukee. Try watching Irish Soccer. Now THATS depressing.
That's how I felt when Nederlands lost to Argentina in soccer (football) the other day.
Thanks Molls. I was beginning to doubt myself there!
I can clue a word or two if anyone needs anything
Ormal, I feel your pain. I was cheering for the Nederlands
No clue about the play, other than what I read at Wikipedia. "Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a rock musical about a fictional rock and roll band fronted by an East German transgender singer."
can someone help with my last elusive word th 4/5, please
I guess I'll cheer for Germany to win, lots of Germans here in Kitchener (which used to be called Berlin)
Which one, there are 3 jaxx
Which th4/5 jaxx
You will kick yourself Jaxx...
4 actually
th + first two vowels
I have just got it, thanks all. Fireworks
congrats
semantics. If Soodle had asked is Hedwig the NAME of Harry Potter's Owl the answer would have been yes. However the play was being discussed, and the Hedwig in the play is not Harry Potter's owl, hence the answer was no.
Zippity doo dah for Jazz!
Yep, I'll be rooting for Germany now. I lived there for a few years, so....
Woo hoo jazz
Oh my
Help with et 6/21 please
I'll just be glad when I don't have to hear about it every day

Anyway, I have to run... good luck all
natural gas without the m
Bye sukee!
Bye, sukee and thanks for the help.
I am now off to my bed. It is nearly 1am here and we have had a bad day. So tired. Night all and tc
Theres a great picture doing the rounds on the internet of the last Pope, Benedict, kneeling in prayer beside the current Pope Francis. Each man is deep in prayer, and the 'thought bubble' from Pope Francis is the Argentinian flag & Benedict's thought bubble is the German flag. (It probably would have been much easier for me to post the flippin' picture!).
Gn jaxx & that's funny stuff soodle.
Aw, Jazz. Sorry your day was rough. Onwards & upwards, eh?
Emm... JaXX
I guess I should do more than think about cooking dinner for the family. Sigh. Be back after the flip. Take care soodle!
Thanks Jaxx
enheet
