*giggle* poor don...he couldn't understand why i was so insistent on him following up on what had to be done. after all we had all the paper work needed, we just had to copy it, and have it certified by a JP that it was a true copy. the all fang had to do, was notify the airline that she was taking MIL's ashes in her luggage. it was all very simple, but she just couldn't be bothered. according to her, the rules are for someone else...lol

I had to write a short story for my English lit class and I got 99% on it and in the teachers comments she asked "what happened next" and I found that while sitting here on the summer break that i could indeed answer her question and make a book of it all.

Well, I have myself convinced that I belong in middle school because I find kids at that age interesting and I can (usually) cope really well with the petty annoyances (and they need people like me who aren't related, but who appreciate them as persons).
But 4th graders are pretty wonderful, and I know that if I get that job I will be spoiled and never want to teach anything else again. :-)

Elementary doesn't have the same level of drama as middle school does though. It could be a welcome break every few years.
