We have lots of stuff named for him around here. Did not know that.

And that is bedtime for me, although to be technical about it I am sleeping in a chair
i usually called him frankie west
lol sammys..
and Francis Scott Key Park, FSK House, both near the bridge. And the Frederick Keys minor league baseball club in MD is named for him -- he was from Frederick.

saanichcat, the ta6/7 is the same. hey ya dee.
thanks rose old buddy
less of the old, thank-you!! ...lololol
mind you this is the first time in almost 5 days when i have felt anything under 110 years old.
so glad for the improvement; must have been a rough 5 days
!!! more of a form of endearment, the two words together. Anyway we are only as old as we feel
i know saanichcat....was pulling your leg...
and some days its 110. poor rose.
I knew you were
dee, it has been. just on monday morning i woke up with laryngeal spasm. don couldn't understand what i was doing...
what causes that? Were you making strange noises?
once i was over it, i explained to him what it was.....and he said....well, why didn't you say something? for goodness sake!!
what happens exactly when that occurs? What causes them? How do you treat them?
dee, your throat muscles go into spasm, usually because something touches the vocal cords. you can't get air in or out. in my case i think the CPAP had let some wa5 up my nose, and i had breathed it in.
I am going to behave now
yikes... scarey. I think when I have allergy issues and drainage, I have had that happen before.
it's an emergency in the recovery room...and i know how to handle it on other people. with a severe case you usually have to give a drug to relax the muscles, so in effect you have to completely anaesthetise the patient again, wait a bit, then try to arouse them again.
so what did you do at home, to stop it
dee, yes you would have had something quite similar.
Glad you are behaving, ru
I am all for....arousing
LOL... broke your promise already
well i tried to stop panicking for one thing. then i remembered to breath through my nose. if you breath through your nose, it makes your throat relax, usually.
I am just following GR's thread dee
I noticed that
wow, rose... definitely scarey
which is what i tell my patients. to smell the roses/coffee.

THANX, DEE. I AM PLANNING TO IT. AT LEAST THIS TIME IT DIDN'T GET TO THE BOTTOM OF MY LUNGS.
oops, sorry for shouting.....lolol
it's don who is deaf, not you....
Iguess so gr
and the ruru.....how are you, mate?
toothy pegs nice and clean? how about the body?
LOL... I think I am losing some of my hearing... some conversations on TV don't sound crisp anymore
are you home, now, ru?
just noticed that we didn't get the 11:05 red boxes tonight - maybe it's fixed now
wouldn't that be nice, saan?
sure would
Well, my eyes keep closing, so I need to get going. Rest well all! Take care of yourself, Rose!
'night Dee, sleep well

greetings friends :)
Hi and hugs, Pugs :)
Hi and hugs back Liz--how are you
Fine thanks - you?
Iam good, ths--Looks like we missed everyone or I have
I've only just come in here. Back with my gym routine.
good for you--are you sore
Not from the gym! But from our beach walk yesterday. My feet had got so soft wearing shoes for 5 weeks. I have blisters under my heels!!!
{{hugs}} miz pugs, and liz xoxox
But they're better than yesterday!
HI and hugs, Rose. How are you.
where you all been? i have had to entertain myself...;-P
Hug,love and hi Rose
I just got up and Iam running late
Like I said to Pugs, just back from the gym and showered - but I thought Ruru had been entertaining you.
i am so much better. the virus didn't get into my lungs....well not much anyways.
your feet must be very sore Liz--blisters are ouchy
what does not much mean?
thats good Rose
True, pugs - ibuprofen yesterday!
disaster here. our tv towers have gone down. himself is nearly frantic...no tv!!!!
Internet?
Oh no! That would stop you babbling - disaster even more.
liz, just a little wheeziness in the upper respiratory tract.
it was so muggy here yesterday that breathing was labored--Iam still coughing up junk but not much
from that aircraft thing Rose
Good to know you're getting better Rose - sounds like you are too, pugs.
salbutamol nebs and a nasal spray and i can BREATHE!!!!
Well, that's a good thing - breathing, I mean.
yeah, like we always say, breathing is a good option in the recovery room patient....
Probably the best option in most cases.
to which one doctor/anaesthetist said...nah, breathing is over-rated....lolol
lol
How long have the TV towers been down?
we think this afternoon.the ABC has been pretty touchy lately, and they were supposed to be working on the towers for that.
Are they telling you anything - like how long this is expected to last. Is there a phone line or something?
I wonder if Sprite is effected with all the investigating over that plane thing
Do you have DVDs or stuff recorded to keep Don happy - otherwise Rose, it's down to you!!! LOL!
you know, it shows just how much my lungs have recovered with the no smoking. by this time 5 years ago i would have been knocking on ICU's door.
Put him on a show, Rose--lol
I wouldn't think so, Pugs. It'll all be kept pretty quiet until they have something to say.
you two are too much....
Hope you celebrated the 5 years Rose - that's great.
oh, good, he has managed to find channel 2 high up in the 600's. whew!!
If you were at full health, you'd be saying the same!!!
i might of had to actually talk to him....lol
the US is having trouble with their planes in another part of the world :( Seems peace will never be
lol!
I've missed that Pugs. What's with the US planes?
geez, I was hoping you guys would have some fun :(
we noticed that the big airlines have re-routed all their flights...strange that!
with telive Liz--
Like you said, Rose. Strange!!!
liz, do you think pugs has a touch of voyeurism?
LOL!!!
what is that?
Voyeurism - watching others.
watching/living precariously through others experiences.
Better explanation.
greetings from insomnia!
the visit to doctor for sister went fairly well. She has lost five pounds and he had to up her insulin a little
and hello aussies - I have just sent my aussie visitors back to Perth tonight....oh, sad....
Hey Tri--nice to see you, sorry you cant sleep
Hi Trif - sorry about the insomnia. How was the party?
Hope Mr Trouble didn't cause any.
he was a JERK. I have learned that it is better for me to spend no time with him at all. toxic at any level. but party went off anyway.
yay for pugs sister, and more importantly, yay for pugs for managing her sister's diet so well
Sorry he was a jerk - tough for you but like you said, just keep away.
Did your daughter enjoy herself?
WTG pugs - managing your sister's diet :)
yes, but only by half. all in all, it was an okay party, but not a great one.
ths guys
Half is better than not at all! Cliche I know! Sounds like you had a good time with the Perth friends, though.
but I did right by my girl. Hopefully someday she will realize all I have done for her - probs when she has her own litter.
awwww, poor trif. and i am not going to crack any jokes either. last time i did that it back fired. person thought i was taking a shot at them. i was actually sympathising. i have been through the most horrid periods of insomnia.
Perth friends were LOVELY.
Awesome!
did I do that grannY?
Rose, when do you get to return to work
I'm sure your daughter will realise that - in time.
no trif, not you, dear
we went on a whale watch - that was so fun. Hearing the whales breathing, seeing them dive, it was so cool
pugs, hopefully next tuesday.
good, gives you a little more time to mend
Love whale watching. We haven't been yet this year, since we got back from the UK. Hope to go very soon.
phantom- twenty
And if you're not ready Rose, take more time. B*gger work cover!
so, please, all you insomniacs, please know, i understand what you are going through, and how utterly frustrating it is.
the weather was very strange this week, which put a damper on things, a bit - very overcast and not particularly sunny, then today - sweltering!
Time for me to go. Hubby going out this evening, so early dinner. Hugs to all. Might be back later.
luckily I dont have much on my plate today, granny - sort of a "recoup" day - but I fear that makes it worse - I can take a nap or rest at last later, which then means I am not as tired at night....
hugs and bye Liz
bye lizlin dear
maybe i might catch you later, liz
te
Howdy Marigold
after not being able to sleep for the last 4 nights, predominantly due to the fact i couldn't breathe, last night i slept like i had been KO'd.
rest is good Rose--says you are on the road to health
ha! I did that the day after the party, granny - aussies and daughters went on a shopping jaunt, and I fell face down on the couch like I had been shot. drooled and all :)
i even slept in, after the obligatory early morning visit to the inside outhouse, and took my pain meds as well.
You might try staying on that road for a while--lol
I need to resolve this before summer's end - no good trying to educate on three hours sleep!
*giggle* trif...once when i woke up in recovery following shoulder surgery, i was told that the drooling was most unbecoming...gee, thanx, i said
that's so mean! What were you supposed to do about it?
were you drooling over the doctors-lol
hahahah pug! good one
lolol....us recovery room nurses have very strange senses of humour.
huh, pugs....come over here and say that
giggling
LOLOL, i remember saying that to ruru, and his prompt response was....no ma'am!
did Ru say he was enjoying his trip
he is home again, that's all i saw, pugs
is ruru traveling? I am so out of the loop these days
OH, thanks
lolol, trif wants to be in the loop and become loopy. here, dear, let me help you.....one rubber room all ready.
look!!! you can bounce off the walls, the floor, the ceiling...and you can't be hurt....except perhaps if i am already in there...
that sounds like fun---I want in too
if it has a library, I am in!!!
okay, then we can do a ring-a-ring-a-rosie together....
lol--sure and well all fall down
okay, throwing in some 'rag' books....can't have anything too hard in there
a very nice woman I know has the most charming cottage on a beach here - very, very isolated....you have to supply your own wa5 and electricty...anyway, she went there for a week this summer. She read 7 books in 7 days. my idea of heaven!
ooh Tri, that sounds so peaceful
oh, nice, trif
i was so jealous, I must admit
I need to go shower and if I have time left will be back--love to you all and give Sprite my love to if I miss her--blessings friends
enjoy puglet!
np's pugs. hope your day is good to you, sweetie
trif, would you believe i am finally reading my charles dickens collection? i am nearly 2/3 the way through a tale of two cities. and loving it!!
wow, that is great! I find dickens a real challenge....did make it through the old curiosity shop a couple of years ago...
trif, i just decided i needed to read the classics, and the old authors. have read a lot of morris west too. i just got sick of the porn in the new novels, and the sick violence...
I so get that. I decided a few years back to read all the novels that won the Pulitzer prize for literature.
I was just looking for some new ideas, and thought working of a list would be helpful
oh, that's a good idea. i must do that too.
mind you, i have read ALL of bryce courtney's books, every single one of them...
OMG.....The Power of One is my favorite book right now. I LOVED IT
the other author i love is taylor caldwell. well, her earlier works anyway.
*giggle* last christmas i handed my beloved a list of his books i didn't have, thinking i might get one or two. the darling man found them all, and totally finished my collection for me.
he sounds so wonderful, granny!
he is trif. i have been truly blessed by this man. yes, he drives me nuts at times, but mostly he is adorable.
LOVE
trif, i have been so blessed to find him at my age. we have been friends for over 30 years now, and finally married 10 years ago. we both thought we would have to live our lives out, alone.
what a blessing!
valentine and I are beginning ballroom dance lessons today - I am SO excited! I hope we are at least passable at it
whoot, trif...wtg....how lovely. wish i could get himself on4 a dance floor. but with his nystagmus, he says he gets giddy turning around...
I have no idea how this is going to go. We got this deal thing - four private lessons, four group ones, at a huge discount, so I jumped and bought it.
good for you...maybe i'll see you on dancing with the stars!!
the people at the studio were cute - when are you getting married? oh.Well, what event are you going to? oh. Wait - you mean you just WANT to learn to dance? uh....yup!
roflol, trif....
"dancing with the oafs" more likely
but always keep learning, right? god knows I could use the exercise
i did ballroom dancing as a teen. my dad said, he had never seen the two-step danced like that....we were dancing to the music of the 70's.
ha!
I hope we are both equal at it...if one of us takes to it right away, and the other is a spazz, that will be not as much fun
just give it a go, trif, that's all you can ask of him. xoxox
im going to try to sleep some.goodnight dear grannyrose. blessings to you
blessings to you, trif. hope you catch some really good zzz's, hun
ut read the chat. Good morning, rosie, if you're still here
off to lunch. Taking figs to the \Italian
{{ruby}} hugs darling, hope you enjoy your time out...
I made it back for a little while :) Hugs and hi Ruby
{{hugs}} miz pugs. i thought you were off to work. so lovely to see you again, hun
no--just to shower and dress--I got about 15 minutes yet
oooohhh, nice.
has Sprite been on yet
no, dear. she should be here soon...unless for once she is getting s good night's rest.
I will probably miss her then :( But at least we got to talk
my work is getting in the way of my babbling time-lol
what are you doing tomorrow
how rude!~! babble comes first....lolol
if the weather allows, i think i might go out into the garden for a while...
yes, sunshine and fresh air would be good for you
that's what i thought...good for my sanity...
my legs and feet were swollen from the weather yesterday and the soaking in the river has helped that
have you got a bench out there to sit and enjoy the outdoors maybe even take a book
nice, pugs...you don't realise, i think, how fortunate you are to have you own private stretch of river to use...
I do know---I went through a little to obtain it--but I got it
pugs, i am thinking i might actually get some gardening done. i still have one rose which i need to prune. and the daffodils and jonquils are sending up their new leaves and flower stems. and i really must cut back the gladiolii.
just dont over do it Ms Rose
i promise i won't....i have a stool i can sit on. and i have found the long-handled tongs used for bbq's are great for pulling weeds.
oh what a good ideal! My river is a place I go for peace and talking to God
is that like a milking a cow stool?-lol
yes, pugs...it is time where i can talk to God, or sort out what is troubling me.
roflolol, pugs. my milking days are long over.
Peach has not been on for awhile or Ive not seen her, have you
we all need a place like that
peach was on much earlier today/night. during the last grid. she appeared quite happy and well.
good
does she have your email addy? if not, may i pass it on to her for you?
well my dear Rose, my time is up---you have a good night rest and enjoy tomorrow---no she dont, I dont think--okay
okay, darling. just rest if you can, when you come home. xoxox
hugs and Love
Good morning if anyone is around
in and ut, sukee. how are youy, dear?
ugh...*out*
Hi granny, doing well so far. How about you?
much better, thanx dear. i can actually breathe today, without the sound effects...lol
That is always good.
so what's on for today, sukee?
Going for my workout, having coffee and back home to do some work.
doesn't sound too taxing. correct me if i am wrong.
Not tough at all
It gets me in airconditioning for a couple of hours too
nice, hun. home to do some work entails what exactly...
Writing, I write blog posts for a business blog... get paid for it.
I write about 200 of them a month
ahhh....i would be lucky if i wrote half that amount...unless you count patient reports/shift.
sukee, what sort of business?
It's not that hard, 225 words each. Basically write a short post about events happening cities in the US and Canada and just get a keyword or two it.
It's an international printing company. Minuteman Press.
I am contracted through a company in the UK that has clients in the US and Canada :)
hmmm, sounds like it could be a tad complicated. i am guessing you would have to keep up with all their affairs.
do you have to travel? i.e. to headquarters?
Not really, I just have to add a keyword or two. But, yes, I am learning a bit about the printing industry.
new learning curve for you, then hun?
No, it is all done from home. Have never met the guys who I work for, just through email and they send me month to paypal.
It's all ghost writing so the people at Minuteman Press have no idea I exist :)
Doesn't bother me as long as I get paid and they have never let me down yet :)
oh, dear....well i am glad you exist, dear. so the blogs are likely to reach out to who, exactly?
To let people know about their services, I guess to get new customers. I guess if someone searches for something in their area they may find my article and be taken to the website.
Anyway, I have to go get ready to go out
Nice talking to you.
that makes sense. so you are the link between the great unwashed and minuteman. okay, sukee, hope your day is all you wish it to be. xoxox
hello, all.

still early going for me yet so no 7's
good morning - no 7's here either
WO 7/56 - pl
Good morning. been a while since I've chatted.
wo***** and tweeters
fe7 - sounds like related to the proper term for iron.
halfway, NBT and NBS - times for a breakfast break and to go out for the morning
se7 - the jagged edges of a bread knife
tw7 - sale! not 1 but a 2***
please stop with all the clues - like to find them myself
sorry.
But I like them!
Me too!
I agree with River. It's one thing if someone asks for a clue, but random alias cluing isn't really necessary.
My apologies again. I thought as I logged on that there was a request for 7s.
There was a request for stats
but hi Charm, havent see you in a while
Anyone care to share stats for the G? Thanks Charm...needed all you clued.
Obviously, I've been quiet for a reason. Will go back to lurking!
Last one: then I'll be quiet. go ge****
i was the one who requested the stats for a 7 - and appreciated your help charm - need to get NBS before needing to leave for ther day
DUH!!! Thank you!

newbie here. why can't riverdance shut off the chatterbox if he/she don't wanna see clues. just asking.
are you still in Washington?
No..i am back home now
I can but like to see chat as well.
shroom, she can.
hi hego
Hi All.
are all the c's co's?
hi hego
No
ok.
I didnt mean to make a big deal out of it but just getting started and all these clues pop up with no one asking for them. I like keeping chat on and chat from time to time with my babble friends
no big deal river
River, It's not a big deal. When I first start I like finding words on my own.
taking a break --- see you later.
If someone asks for a clue, you have the option of turning chat off if you want to find words on your own. If people just blurt clues out, you don't have that option.
can i get a clue for any of the g words please?
you are a ge6 for asking that MLF
ty river got the ge 6/24
5th column bottom r stats please?
never mind gotta go will be back
re 4/4
good morning, all
howdy all newcomers on this lovely, cooler day:) the words came easy this morning and I have added 2000 of them to my work. Now I can babble for a bit:)
Hi, crossy. getting hotter here.
for those following my work, the second rough edit copy of my novel is now available for critique on the authonomy.com site
Hello all
howdy jaxx. is a lovely 18c here atm. The rain last night cooled things off very nicely
car!
Hello Crossy!
Inching towards 82F here
Hot one here too today...90 is predicted
with high humidity...UGH
too warm for crossy
High humidity here too
:(
half the time I keep thinking of moving further north as it is:)
Hi, car. We'll suffer together thousands of miles apart
Misery loves company! LOL!
i will send you both some cooler air:)
For what it is worth you have mine
Bless you!
Aren't we humans odd? Earlier in the year we were drowning and cold, now we have heat and we still moan.
I have to say, our winter was very mild and this summer has been one of the best I can ever remember! Just a couple of hot/humid days...nights have been cool with a breeze.
Ours was wet and very windy with the occasional very cold day thrown in. I don't think we Brits are ever happy with the weather. What else would we have to talk about if we were?
morning all...having trouble finding the FA 5/16...can someone clue me please
I see there are new rules for the chog concerning clues
I have air FA*** are high this time of year
pl of fa4/7
I know Jaxx7, but I cannot find the fa4/7 either...clue for it please
Hi, phae. You can never please evryone on Babble all of the time, just like the rest of the world.
Oh! Where?
Price paid for a ticket
true...but rules were made to be broken ;-)
Jaxx7, it is the four before the ticket price
sorry, you are right, thanks
I do not follow any "rules" I do what i do. The chog has a "off" button for those who disaprove and make "rules"
There is scope within the game for all - those who don't want clues, don't chat until you have fireworks. Simple
Ok.
hello again. help with the r next to the w on the 5th column please?
it does? where is it crossy?
How you might like your steak cooked....
simple indeed, jaxx, and we must all make note of STAT or CLUE request and it is as it should be:)
a bog - a rattlin' bog
car i have that one
you select " who's online as you know, phae, and you do not have to see the chat
Hello all
howdy sukee
hi sukee
OK, then ra 5/10 is the other one...different spellng of what you shave with
mmm, steak...
I don't have a word before fa4/7 sorry
not exactly an "off" button but it has the merit of disabling chat as needed:)
car hmm?
ahh..true, but they weren't complaining about the chat...just what was being put in it.
well, then they do not need to look
If you don't want to see chat you can click on who's online.
Exactly, crossy!
unless we have a troll, or the language gets vile, we are all mostly adults here and can deal with it as it comes up
lol...that's what I think also crossy.
It is an alternate spelling of a person who burns things down
as i said, sukee
I like the chat here how it goes off on so many tangents
car i have no idea
it is always interesting, sukee
mlf...what are you looking for?
5th column the r above the w?
it only has 3 words and i cant find any
My clues aren't helping :(
Two have to do with how one might order their steak cooked.
hmm...have 2 from there need the 3rd. The 2 I have deal with the doneness of meat
I don't know what Rs belong to that
The other is the alternate spelling of what you shave with
and speaking of going off on a tangent, it is now time for crossy's tidbit of the day!!!
Slugs have 4 noses.
ewwww
ty phae got two of them
ty car
ty car...MLF if you have one of the ra5's change the last cons
okay... crossy :) Good to know I guess
must go boil some soft-boiled eggs. back shortly..poink!
help with the fe7?
It could be worse, crossy, they could have 4 ar4/4s
the w?
on the 5th column?
a little bird, mlf
ty harry
nbt
yw
good question phae
fe7 is the iron root
?
something made of iron
FE + double consonant + what I *** for breakfast mixed up
ignore the mixed up part :)

Past of eat

that's my last word, phae
I only have one mo word and its 4/5
well Harry...what is it? ;-)
i have mo 4 and mo6
I'll certainly let you know the moment it makes its appearance
yes, I just found the 6

lol, jaxx @ having four ar4's
ty molly :) as always
How's that for a complicated clue : D
it means earth farts
not me , the slug
Ok, I can figure out 5 of the 7 letters :)
are the first 3 the sound a cow makes?
Complicated definition, molly. Are you a geologist?
no mlf - mo + con**** (ripped up paper) + vowel
con****i rather
Earth farts, cute Harry : D
got it! Thanks Molly
Got it, ty both
got it
mo + fe4 with a double cons
I was looking for the wrong vowel for a bit
yes, thanks each
It sounds more like a French stripper name : )
gotta go to the supermarket. have a nice day everybody
or a member of a comedy trio in French
Cheers, harry
As a Doctor Who fan all I could think of was its current show runner
Okay I need a break. See you all later
I am going to take a break too. Bye
done...clues needed?
first fo 6/21?
not for me, ty, phae. i must work this grid a bit yet.
OOPS CO
hi cross
but crossy watches MLF's request avidly:)
close your eyes crossy...this clue is for MLF...doves are co6's
i ask for enough of them lol
my eyes were closed.. honest:)
lol
does are what?????
DOVES
i got it never mind lol
flying poop factories of roamce, mlf

romance
if your eyes were closed...how did you know the answer?
i have co 5/14 having ot do with outer space i need ther other one please?
what's the french word for 'white'?
change the last to letters around MLF
they were closed... mostly
phae change the last two letters of the french word for white?
|-)
no mlf the last two letters of the outer space thing
oh ty phae
mm, buttermilk pancakes cooked thin with sugar and lemon juice:)) have not had them in a while
do not care for buttermilk anything
poor phae:(
I can whip up some other for you
cross that sounds interesting. i love pancakes
has to be thin and served one at a time hot from the pan, not in thick doughy stacks all at once
ty crossy...blueberry would be nice. :-)
phae i agree
I actually have some bloobies;)
just getting ripe here
when I cooke them for the whole family, i use two large pans at once and time then 5 minutes apart so the first one is done just as the second is being sugared up
these are frozen ones from last year;(
those will do
contrary to popular thoughts in other countries, we do not slather everything in maple syrup. it gets a tad clying after a while
cloying
tw 6/7?
Love cooking with it though and make many sauces and glazes with it
when you get more than one for one price
ty phae
not fond of syrup on blueberries...lots of butter and whip cream :-D
yw MLF
your wish is my command:) crossy loves making all types of breffast food:)
yum!!
te5/10?
i love breafast anytime of the day
not an alto or soprano - te5/10
ty phae
I could actually care less about the rest of the meal in a traditional day. My guests leave the table too full for lunch, then perhaps a nice veggie cold plate with dip for dinner, just picking food in the summer, perhaps some hearty soups or stews in the winter:)
i don't care how much i eat for breakfast come noon or 1 pm...i am shaky and need to eat.
yw mlf
yes, for those with specific dietary needs this must be altered of course
My da, for example is diabetic and his nutritional needs differ
if the stupid dolt pays attention to his sugar levels!
If breakfast is at 10 or brunchy then a light snack later in the day is sufficient
time to move on...happy babbling!!
bye phae and ty
hi corss
cross
howdy again, MLF:) I am still roaming around the chat, just bouncing tween this and my work
I love this 22 inch wide screen monitor. it lets me do a rather workable split screen to multi-task
Two monitors would of course be better, but then I would need a new desk, one with more real estate
then again, I am not sure if this old dinosaur of a computer of mine supports multiple monitors... shall have to look into it
i have a large screen as well took hubby and i both a while to get used to it. my computer isnt that old but it has malware was hacked and a lot of stuff in it because of facebook
so its loud and runs constantly
wish I had 5 minutes with your computer. the ma-ware would be history
mal-ware
if you do not have it yet, load up a free copy of the malwarebytes software program. it will help
i know i need to isntall some program to remove stuff from puter
see below:))
i have missing drivers and our homepages are gone etc
you can go into system properties and have the computer do a search online for drivers
with enough digging, you can always find them
no its a specific program or two to get rid of whatever it is in puter. If id di i think all the things that need to be fixed or removed are check marked
Malwarebytes Antimalware and AdwCleaner. The second one is the most effective at the moment (and only takes a minute to run) :-)
so i dont know if i have to uncheck mark stuff to keep it or not fix it
or fix it or it deletes the programs sometimes i dont know what to keep and what not to
Like i say... too bad it is not here with me. Not that I am tooting my own horm but if i can refurbish and keep an old rig like mine from 1998 running, I would have great fun giving your machine a go
horn
With those two programmes you just delete everything it finds, no questions about knowing what to uncheck.
cross if i could get rid of the problems and whatever fb's info i would be in heaven
I also love C cleaner
but if its things i need like java or something then i cant
with c cleaner do i have to do anything just let it clean it or would it ask me anything specific?
with windows 7, it has a remote assistance feature, but you must really trust a person as they can just take over your computer and all it contains from a distance
I would use mal-warebytes forst, then c cleaner or the one buggie mentioned
i had c cleaner once but the last time i was going to try to install it again it said it was infected or something
though make sure you know all your site passowrds when using c cleaner as it will removed all the auto-log in settings and cookies
CCleaner does NOTÂ clean infections, it can only repair some basic errors. Wouldn't do anything for you PC in the state it is now.
side note non computer related: my husband drives me nuts lol
that is why i suggested malwarebytes, buggie
buggie it wouldnt help it?
then a nice anti-virus check with your favorite version
ok, you two have at it. i should get back to my work for a minute anyways. just had an amazing idea on how to kill off one of my pprotagonists;)
CCleaner has no antivirus/malware detection, it just cleans out temporary files to make space and repairs registry errors (but not a good idea with an infected computer)
i tried to fix it once but hubby kept asking questions as i was trying to do research he was being so nosey and i cant concentrate like that so i said forget. I do have the knowlege as to what is going on. My anti virus program seems to be working but it wnats me to update it constantly since it was hacked(computer ). when i do that other thins start happening. Hubby has things happening on his stuff that i used to or have at times since this all started
bye cross
really your top priority is to run AdwCleaner - but it does force a reboot, so make sure you've saved everything before running it
ad aware yu mean buggie?
no
adw cleaner
ad aware is a full antivirus. install that on top of your current antivirus software and they'll conflict with each other
in one word, adwcleaner
ah ty
i used to use ad aware
popping back in; as buggie says , do not mix Ad- aware with things like spy-bot search and destroy or they will think that each other is a virus! lol
back out..poink!
i have used it with anti virus programs before
spybot and ad-aware should work okay with each other, but ad-aware will confilct with any antivirus, avast, MSE, kasersky mcafee, etc
that will cause your PC to seriously slow down, throw out random errors, refuse to update, etc...
ad-aware used to be just a malware cleaner (like spybot, adwcleaner and malwarebytes), but then they decided to become a full antivirus, and have been messing PCs up since...
i have never ran them together
buggie do you have jo5?
buggie really they are anti virus now? hmm
nope, I've only made it to the Ts so far
never mind i got the jo5
on the 2nd column i have 2 T's left
yes, ad-aware is now to be avoided at all costs, when a few years back it used to be the main malware cleaner
this grid is turning outto be harder then i thought it was going to be
I'm not finding it too bad. But then my goal is nbt/nbs with at least half of each tile, I rarely finish a grid
It is surprising how many people are still running ad-aware
Howdilly doo, neighbors!
I'm down to my last 40 words, but I still need 6 7s
i ave more free time since i am not on facebook that much anymore
hi judi
i have 54 left
hi Judi
hi movie
hiya mlfan

Well then, you two are all set.

Evening 2Bit
is Crossy here? Just watched a Rick Bayliss cooking show.. he was wearing a T-shirt that said "Bacon is meat candy"..

hi
how does this game work?
That sa 6/33 word is another extends sa 4/7 word Bugsaw.
Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone doing
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
Hi Southern Ocean. Welcome to Babble
Hello wht!How are you doing today? Welcome to the chog.
The game is simple. It is like Boggle. Words have to be four letters or more. Any one time can only be used once in a word.
Enter the words in the Add Word box.
oh yeah..hi... I went and read the instructions ... thanks lol
If you have any questions, just ask. Folks here are glad to help.
Hi Min. I am fine. I only need the mo7 for fireworks
thanks... I will
mo 7/44 word is mo plus fe 4/7 word with extra consonant
Welcome to Babble SouthernOcean. How did you find game
Did you google "word games" SounternOcean?
Thanks Min. Fireworks.
Congratulations wht on your fireworks display! Good for U!
I googled word games with chat
hey..with the word stats - is that how many words with that many letters that can be found in the block?
The tile stats are the number of words that start with each tile.
The word stats are the number of words of each length.
The first # is how many words with that letter & second # is total points that word is worth SouthernOcean.
Darn it! Sorry, I am wrong. wht is correct. Do not mind me.
thanks - between both of you I can read the bottom half of the screen now...lol... this game is harder than I thought
The game get's easier. It takes a while to get used to reading words that go up and backwards, or around in circles.
Enjoy all. Time for me to go.
Goodbye wht! I'll see you tomorrow in the chat log maybe.
hi.. anyone still there?
just us lurkers
lol
my screen went funny.. couldn't see anyone for a min
