i would love to set a precedent. but will have to wait. meanwhile my new pain doc wants to hospitalise me for a ketamine infusion, to get the pain completely under control, then revert back to the magnesium but only every 2-3 weeks instead of weekly like now.
I don't know anything about ketamine. Are there any negative effects to having an infusion?
how are coping with the co4er weather? or hasn't it got there yet?
not really. it could become addictive in large doses, but that isn't how the infusion therapy works.
Our weather (temps, rains, storms) has been up and down more than a yo-yo. Pain is not under control, but we are working on it :)

You surely do. Friday I am having an MRI on the lumbar part of my spine - for an assessment of what has been going on and to get a treatment protocol. Hopefully, this doc will be able to give me some non-surgical options. I am hopeful.

seain, he does, he just doesn't take them. and then the pain becomes so bad that he is sick, and i have to end up injecting him. he keeps saying he forgets to take the blessed stuff.
Many men are really stubborn about taking meds.
i have tried and tried to get him into a routine of taking his pain meds, and time and again he lapses. it is frustrating for us both.
i wonder why that is so, dee?

my GP saw how swollen and sore my knee still is, and togay the physio could feel all the muscles bunching up in lumps in my thigh. she very gently massaged all my rtriggers points which was still very painful. bit i have to admit, it feels better now.
At least the end result was worth it today. Sympathy for the pain, though.
rose, the least they can do is pay for it. There is no recompensation possible for the pain, both physically and emotionally, that they have caused you and are still causing you.

Mind you, I got a bargain. I think the problem with this laptop is the battery dying and it's around £20 to replace it, but the keyboard's knackered too so I thought go for it, buy a new one. Saw a reconditioned one on Amazon for £100, so for the sake of another £80 I thought bugger the new battery I'll get a new lappy. I know it's not new, but it's only two years old and has been profesionally reconditioned. Doesn't help with the cost of the frigging door though lmao!!! Silly old fart, ain't I?

Today was a real doozie. Firstly they defined my grandson as a girl. Then they carped about the time he had off school attending the appointments they had made. His parents are in trouble because they insist on coming unannounced during the working week when both are out working. It is just crazy
Did the grandchild have any say in this change of sex? That alone must be a doozie to comprehend but it can happen.
I suspect we are feeling the fall-out over the Rotherham case where gangs of Asians groomed and then sexually abused teenage girls. The SS wouldn't admit it went on. Now the evidence is irrefutable, the brown stuff has hit the fan.
Is there any way he can be home schooled so he won't miss days? We have correspondence courses sponsored by the school districts.
Oh I heard about the Rotherham case. It was horrendous !
Devon is rural and centres for pyschiatric services and whathave you are miles out in the sticks. The SS have organised the appointments and threatened us with death if we don't take him to them.
The other thing is, if there is some real sexual confusion, it is no wonder that he is not happy at school. It would not hurt to withdraw him altogether until this is sorted out and let him try again, perhaps at another school, next year. It does not hurt a child to lose a grade but save their mental health.
My grandaughter is in trouble because she alternates her days at her mother's and father's and works evenings so they haven't been able to get hold of her either.
two of mine were so crippled by depression that I finally let them stay home and heal. No one could tell that they were a year behind at graduation and they are doing well as adults.

Not yet. I completely overloaded myself during the quiet of the summer when people asked if I could help in the fall. Now it is fall and I am so scheduled it is not funny! I enjoy everything I am doing but I have't picked up the knitting yet. The first thing I want to learn is to knit sox. Home made sox are in again.

I talked to a lot of people, and some of it is first hand, some from others--esp what happened before I was born, or away married. Tho I came home a lot. Just got vol 3 out but not advertised.
