Meant to tell you, Rose - going to see Bill Bailey (from QI) tomorrow :)

well finally! *hugs rose* My night was ok, and how was your day?
Hello ru! Hello Dianne and Marc!
wb sprite. was still very tired this AM. but had some retail therapy and lunch out with don helped me progress nicely.
well done, dear friend. And lots of re4 too I hope.
yup, lots of that too. after shouting at me yesterday, don has been very kind today. i know it's stress for him, but after friday i couldn't handle another confrontation.
ugh no. What on earth was he shouting about?
hello Sprite
en6, please?
he moved his little armchair table too quickly and the glass nearly fell off. i was accused of always having to be right, never wrong, simply because i reached over and grabbed the glass as it headed for the edge of the table. nearly brought me to tears.
en6, en + gown
thanks
aw how unfair! Yeah, sounds like stress alright, and him feeling stupid for almost making a mess. But he must not vent it on you.
i know, love. but i simply cannot handle any more confrontation at the moment. he is so stressed and worried on my account. i have even thought of offering to move out until the sorry mess is finished.
did he apologise?
not as such, but lots of tender caresses and kisses.
hmz. Best talk it over, in my opinion. You moving out would be crazy. For better and for worse, you guys can manage this together.
yes i know, sprite. and when i am feeling not so quite fragile i will try to bring it up.
{{{{{{{rose}}}}}}} I think it is wise to pick your time. Wish I could help you.
omg, you have to be joking me. the weather forecast for tomorrow is hail....after a day of 30c/86F
madness
oh, and the manary is back to flirting with me. when i walk past and whistle, he hops up to the top perch, and hops from side to side, fluttering his wings. it makes me giggle.
awwww that is so sweet!
he sort of peeps in his throat at the same time. don gets grumpy...he never does that with him...
that is because the manary is not gay. Silly Don.
roflol....of course...
how about an eatfest?
I am sure I have been to an eatfest or two in my life
sorry love was out catching up with emails. was gonna ask you about the clinic appointment the day after your disastrous return home from singing.
or would you rather GT to answer?
hehehe, our rose and squirrels :) Clinic visit was ok. Am to experiment a bit more with the imodium. Take one for two days, then skip one day. And take them with the evening meal.
she was happy with the pee medication catching on, and I am to continue training with the pt.
good, an alternative answer. hope it works out.
well you know how it is... same with you... meds never seem to work the way they do with other people. Always odd reactions.
frustrating, isn't it?
hello my friends!
{{hugs}} ruby
immensely. Wish things could be more 'normal'.
*hugs ruby* How are you healing up after your fall?
I got some great advice from John (NOT!!) get smaller dogs (dog) or a professional dog walker. He is such a jerk!
He doesn't realize that when I fell, if it hadn't been for big fluffy Rufie, I would have broken my elbow or knee
that was not kind of him
I am healing well and, funnily, although I'm bruised and scraped, no black and blues
Kind is not an adjective which applies to him.
I'd be surprised if I hear from him again for a long while
good to hear you are healing well, and yay for no black and blues
well that is good in one way ruby, re the scrapes. yes, son is a jerk to make light of your misadventure.
It must have something to do with my blood but, anway, it's a good thing. And I wouldn't give up my big dogs for the world!
at least you can talk to your son ruby. my son whose daughter is due to be bo4 today has not bothered to contact me at all.
He thinks he's the expert on dogs, that they should be well-trained and obedient. Chows are not like other dogs. They are very good, very clean and affectionate, but they don't "sit" when you say sit (unless they feel like it) He is such a control freak that he can't stand it when Rufe wants to stop and sniff and choose his own ro***.
I don't think I can talk to him any more
Burt is stomping around, so I had better go See you later, sweeties!
fireflies. Am off, *hugs* to you both.
ruby, raspberries to him, hun. with my compliments.
WtG SPRITE!!! enjoy your day, sweet friend.
I wouldn't waste good fruit! lol
BTW my new round of figs are even tastier than the spring ones
nice, ruby...save some for me...
I'll see if I can find a recipe for Fig Newtons.
many recipes out there, ruby. pick one, hun. xoxox
I am looking for one for fig jam, but don't think there'll be enough. I'd ryther pig out while they're fresh
np's ruby. i hope you enjoy them...
that was a painless 93 but I have no idea of the 9

Happy landings!
g'day zooz, how lovely to see you, mate
ruby, did you find the na89?
yes, thanks to zzoozz spoon-feeding me.
poor Burt cant read his watch any more and came all the way down here to see what time it was
good for you, ruby
ruby, can you afford a "talking" clock?
I feel sorry for him but, at the same time, it's hard to not be annoyed
Unless it could go on his wrist, it wouldn't help
Most of the time, we're in the same room (unfortunately)
yes, there are "talking" wrist watches
no kidding. But he probably couldn't hear it, lol
he does have hearing aids, yes?
doesn't wear them except if we have company and I insist
never for me
okay...leave it with me, dear friend
have to go {{rosie}}
when you visit, he'll wear them or I'll hit him with a stick!

good morning everyone
g'day crossy
how is rose on this fine day?
g'day crossy. i am still wound up after friday. but after 2 days of slow moving, i am okay. and my mate, crossy? how are you?
oh yes. Your big meeting. It went well for you i hope.
i have nearly finished the second book of arthur c clarke's compilations. moving onto cronin doyle or the brothers grimm. which do you recommend?
Oh you must start with doyle
I have his complete works in digital format if you need a copy.
crossy, it was so abysmal...they only offered me back pay to the end of august plus 6 weeks pay. and future GP, physio, hydro treatments, unlimited. will not pay for pain management doctor. i am quite decided to wait it out.
Yup. let your lawyer and union rep grind on it for a bit
okay, we have a hard copy of conin doyle...moving on to them...
we are waiting for the offer in hard copy...lawyer is quite delighted. conciliator told us i had been diddled, big time.
Here, healthcare pays for 26 physio and hydro treatments per anum anyways so that would not be a big concession at all, though once every 2 weeks is not enough
in the conciliator's opinion. the last workcover report was compromised between my employer, their workcover agent and the doctor.
:(
crossy...not at all...i have the reports etc to bring them all down..
as long as they do not drag it on for 5 more years
crossy...fortunately...i have my beloved beside me.
and now...i must go to consume my dinner.
enjoy, rose:)
and back...g'day
that was a quick nosh:)
*giggle* i am a nurse...we all eat very fast..
it happens after years of having to get back to our work station within a half an hour.
We are the same. not the type to idly chit chat over a meal(unless it is a special occasion)
One of my pet peeves is people who take great delight in talking at length with their mouths full of food.
with you crossy....no mouth full of food after walking up 9 floors of stairs...
9 floors from the lunchroom?? Would be hungry again by the time I go to the top!
lolol...yup crossy. dining room was on the fi5 floor...ward was on the ninth floor...and we were not allowed to use the lift.
and on night duty. the dining room was in the basement when i worked on the 9th floor...which meant i had to clamber up 10 flights of stairs to return to the ward where i was working.
so... 28 minutes to get to the lunch room, 2 minutes to eat, 28 minutes back up to your floor and 2 minutes to have a pee lol
nope, crossy...30 minutes for the whole time...
Perhaps a nurses lunch room on each floor?
Our bigger hospitals have that
that is 30 minutes...to get to the dining room, eat my meal, pee and get back up to the 9th floor.
omg
very strict, i agree. but it made us able to nurse all the better.
I am sure it taught you to swallow your food whole:)
roflol, crossy...exactly...
Well now you can enjoy your food:)
hmmm, you think so?
i would hope you can take a moment and smell the roses as it were.. unless your home has 9 floors:))
lolol, crossy...but when the food is so delicious...hard to restrain myself...
:)
My son eats food whole:/
going to get my meds ready...
Takes me 2 hours to make some wonderful meal. I sweat blood in the act of crating a gastronomic delight ... then i watch him gulp it down in three minutes without taking his eyes away from his smart phone.. may as well have given him a bowl of gruel... he would not have noticed the difference:)

after 10pm here, lbd. annie...i have chilled out today. tomorrow i pick up the gauntlet..
Invictus, rose, Invictus
lbd, friday laid me low...still recovering...
I know crossy, getting harder to get up in the morning these days
If the gauntlet is too heavy, we will all help you carry on
thanx darling annie.
hello, everybody
here here, what annie said
Back from a good lunch at Sprite's resto
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
((ruby))
I have that carved on my desk:)
don has been very supportive. he has said he will do the laundry....after i sort it of course...lol
Chilly, but at least it's not raining. And the days are getting shorter, too rapidly to suit me. Hate autumn!
Mailing stuff to you tomorrow, Annie, but addressing the envelope to Bobby, so he'll hve the pleasure
crossy...invictus indeed.
chilly here also. I am going to go the movies today. I want to see The Judge. Ruby, Thank you very much.
hi, ruby!
{{annie}}
hi ibd
xoxox crossy...
Morning ruby.
Annie, you and Bobby have filled the hole in my heart left by my friend Shari's demise. The last place we went together was Brighton Beach
you would love how I do laundry, rose. Gather it all up, toss it in the machine, pound it down with a pole, add soap, select the hottest setting I can find and hit frapee :)
hello sukee
Oh ruby, how sad to lose a friend. Was Shari a childhood friend?
roflol...crossy...man after my soul
awww...{{hugs}} my darling ruby.
We became friends in about 1978 when I was living in NY agai, and met her on a plane coming back from a biz trip to Phoenix. I saw her, onemonth later, in a blizzard when I had walked to Bloomingdale's. She didn't recognize me, but I recognized her and we became close friends thereafter
though it backfires on occasion. Once I ended up washing a nice, new, bright red t-shirt with white socks and undies.... I spent the rest of the year wearing pink socks and underwear;(
Ruby, you would not recognize Brighton Beach today. It is called Odessa by the Sea. All Russian shops. No American shops on BBA any longer. The building I live in was 100% English speaking when I moved in years ago. Now it is 90% Russian speaking.
:) crossy
I am sorry for the loss of your friend , ruby
Crossy, they advertise a product here that keeps colors from running. I find it hard to believe. My son wore pink underwear for a while, maybe that's why he's so nasty....lol
No, no, she died after we were here so at least 13 yrs ago, but I still mourn her loss
Burt is in the grid.
"I nocied" beter in the grid than hhere lol
notice* better*

i see that, annie
c4 6 - a series of major problems
I am finding the cr's difficult...can I get a clue for the second cr 6?

thanks rose and dawg :)

There, kitchen floor washed:)
Hi all. Hi Crossy - how did the exam go?
now the cats are skating all over it:(
went very well liz:)))
I will know the results by end of next week:)
went in with a 96%, so am not too worried:)
Glad you feel good about it - never fun waiting for results though. 96% - a good way to go into any exam!!!
Kind of funny really; the exam (worth 15%) can only bring me down, unless it is flawless
Flawless is a hard ask!
so, as law class showed me, it will most likely fall between 90 and 97% and i shall be content with that
That's still an awesome result - something to be very proud of.
it may sound insane, but college and Uni classes are often overbooked for the most popular classes and the cut-offs fall between 80-90%. they cherry-pick the bodies to fill those limited seats
Yikes! Standards must be getting higher and higher then, which is no bad thing.
The nursing class cut-off , for example, is 90%
as is first responders and social services
What's your next move?
That is a good question... My next move may be a college course or two. we shall see
Look forward to finding out - not rushing you though!
I must touch base with a guidance office here on our local campus
find out my options
Any particular direction appealing to you?
Hi Liz! just popping back in to say ttfn. time for brekkies and other daily stuffs. *poof*
Online copy editing work would be a nice direction, I think.
Hi lbd - have a great day - I'll be in bed by the time you're back.
That sounds good Crossy - added advantage that you can work from home and set your own hours.
I'm outta here - 10 left but need an early-ish night. Into Brisbane tomorrow pm to see stand up UK comic, Bill Bailey.
I would love to get my teeth into CNN's copy room:)
tc liz and have a great evening
So enjoy your day - good to catch up with you, Crossy. tc

Another se8, starts like what a guy does playing the guitar outside a girl's bedroom window, ends with consumed
ty Molls. have all the 8's now.
Have you see the new show The Mysteries of Laura with Debra Messing. I watched it one and a 1/2 times and I do not like it. I like her but not in that role.
I saw the preview and it looked dumb so I gave that a pass
It does not seem to flow well, in my opinion
I think the best new show on right now is How To Get Away With Murder
she was much better in Smash
Oh yes, I like that show.
Anything with Viola Davis is a home run for me
ok, going to iron and ex. clothes, bbl.
I agree re Viola. Molls, c u later.

Hi kids.
good grief - is he grid-broken??
hi Scrabs. Deer still curled up in your yard
hi Scrab, watch out for the latter part of Bichons dog!
hiya
No, I went for a bike ride in the park and when I returned they were gone. They were so sweet.
lol jwr
Buon giorno
:)
The hosta chompers have their cute moments
hi hego.
Hah! My hostas get mowed straight across.
how come?
Deer are cute and sweet, right up to the time they devour the last plant in the garden
Deer enjoy hosta buffets.
yes, we have them here as well.
or they run in front of your car
or total it...
I lost my first car to a deer who wouldn't pay attention to the traffic signals (it was at a Deer Crossing too)
'morning, babblers
I think they have right of way there.
Wildlife must learn to safely cross roads.
Welki!
Hi welki
here, we have elevated walkways for wildlife - but they don't always comply
welki, there is a fish for you in the grid. tr5
Where is "here" welki
yep, saw it - thanks :)
alberta, jwr
ah, home of the stampede.
regular crosswalks, for humans and animals, are the norm in our cities, though - someone should teach those animals to read. (all of the animals!)
don't believe her, she lives in the big city.
it's a language problem
na8/45 = variation for term for someone that likes being in the outdoors
Like you Scrabs
I actually found an 8 by myself.
and Welki
me too Scrabs
care to share Scrabs
really? I thought it was another term for folks who like to run around without clothes on
Add an S for na9.
But I'm having big cr problems
ty Scrabs, sounds like you
it's true, i live in a city - but even here, we get some four-legged wildlife crossing the streets, and the 'wilderness' is less than an hour away
I do that too, jwr. Skinnydipping is required when kayaking in the wild.
Scrab will tell you about that.
We must go almost 2 hours for wilderness.
*shiver* I used to live in Colorado - second only to Maine lakes for staying icy all year round
cr 7's anyone?
um...we are not icy all year round... ;o)
or 6, or 5?
take a ship trip
or two
My only cr is cr4/5
or 6 is very fancy
TY, jwr.

The last time they saw a bear in this region was in 1896. \now all they have are foxes, boar, roe deer and mountain goats. Oh and badgers. But I've never seen any of them and the woods and cliffs and a big field are right here!
A badger eviscerated my neighbor's cat just across the way.
yw -
Hiya Rubes!
That is still a lot of nice wildlife to see, Ruby.
hi ruby - badgers and boars can be nasty to run into :(
hello hego
Oh, but that is terrible, Ruby.
:)
And a deer ate all of a neighbor's roses and she had many plants
bores and boors can be nasty to run into, too :)
lol
I had no idea about badgers being a problem. Evidently in the UK they spread bovine TB
Racoons and skunks (and pigeons) have adapted so well to urban life we've forgotten they are essentially "wild" animals
I've seen only 2 squirrels in the 15 yrs we've been here and I think it was the same scrawny black one. And there are no rabbits.
I think the French have eaten everything.
lol, true Ruby
Spain also has very little wildlife for that reason.
There are pigeons in "downtown" Annecy but the only one I've seen here was very large and head a red band around its throat, lovely.
I was in Canada last week (NIagara Falls, Ontario) and the squirrels are mostly black.
In Princeton all the squirrels were black
The boar can tear up gardens, too, but our property is totally fenced in
squirrels carry rabies -- they've been removed from most cities altogether
I don't think they would like your dogs.
I didn't know that
... black is the dominant gene ... they breed out all the greys and reds
I didn't know that, either
we have only greys
Hi doseff. I was hiking in Niagara Glen last Tuesday. I love that place.
I've seen women here in coats that looked like they were made of 50 squirrels skins!
... it's been years since I did the Bruce Trail ... starts there
I've only seen grey ones and that was when I was a kid.
ruby, sounds like you don't have an anti-fur contingent in France
We only have red ones here :-)
Must go. hagd All!
My sister lives in a very densely populated part of Queens NY and has a real problem with raccoons. They dexterously pen garbage cans and look at her through the door to her deck. Creepy
No, it's cold enough here to need fur
There are red and grey ones here. I prefer seeing the red ones--they are smaller and so cute. And, most of all, I love my chipmunks.
anyone with a dog or cat door invites racoons in for dinner -- they can open refrigerator doors too
I've never seen a chipmunk (except in photos), even in NY state
The raccoons here are clever and feisty.
i see them on the walk here sometimes...
chipmunks used to record funny songs
not with my dogs, they only let cats into the house
chipmunks, not raccoons....
They seem to like cats
There's a Fr word for raccoons, but I've never heard of anyone seeing one -- "raton-laveur_
Alvin!
... the word is likely Quebecois
see you later, kids.
Thanks for the animal information
It's been fun, all. Work night is over and I'm going home to bed. the only wildlife I will fear are mosquitoes
you're probably right, dose, I didn't think of that
... "rats who wash"
... see you next time
that is a terrific word Dose - (*wagging her tail as she exits the room*)
I passed halfway and have lost interest in this grid. Maybe I will return later...or tomorrow. Enjoy the day.

Also one is an underside of the tongue.
judi can you clue the type of lettuce please?
Um. Not really. It's a salad green. Kind of long spikey leaves. I personally hate having it in my salad.
zooz how many letters for that part of the tongue?
Fr5/16, by the way.
i think i know the type you mean judi i dont like dark leaves for salads i love romaine
Also an FR 5/16

judi doesn't like spikey things?
Hmm, not the definition given for that fr5/16
Just not in my salad, Ru.

There might be two vowels at the end of the lettuce. Either way... yuck.

I think Judi keeps her hubby around as a boy toy
Pffth. Not!

Eh, he takes her out for breakfast now and again
And here I was, all happy that I scored this righteous TV cabinet for only $25 off of Craigslist.
Hubby just negated all of my inferior decorating with an impending collision claim.

Yeah, that would have sucked.

good afternoon everyone:)
Hello Crossy
howdy meliae:) How are you this fine afternoon?
Molly speaks the truth...the media gets nutso over everything. Although I feel for the worker who's sick.
Doing great Packers won after coming from behind with 6seconds left in the game. Waiting for the Seahawks game now :)
How is your day going Crossy?
Back when I used to have an interest and watch, the Packers were always the underdog.
it is going well. I celebrate the small victories and lets the near misses go in peace;)
Yep that's when they became my team like 15 years ago :)

That Miami/Packers game was amazing. Great football.

Hi, Chrissie.
jaxx I saw blue hair color at Target, not sure if it was permanent. one was royal blue which looked pretty dark and the other was a silvery blue. did not buy either one
What colour is your hair, peri?
blonde
I am fair skinned
with light eyes
I was not crazy about the silvery blue. I thought it would make me look like the little old ladies with a blue rinse on their hair :)
and the other blue was too dark, I need to look around some more
the silvery blue might not look that good with blonde. To make an impact go for the royal blue. If it is semi permanent it will fade any way and if it is temporaty it will soon wash out.
You have a point. I could start with a very thin line.
Peri, I think your hair looks very nice just the way it is.
ah, thanks Molls.
It wont' be permanent and I just want to do something different. it is either that or get a tattoo
Molly, trust you. If I recommended terracotta or green you would argue. This is Peri's idea not mine.
of course I could get a temp. tattoo. I think my family would all faint!
How about some highlights.
That is what the blue will be.
I have highlight
highlights even
I would only put the blue in one side
peri, I won't influence you either way. You could try a hairdresser first and see what it will look like.
or on either side of my face and they it would bring out the blue in my eyes.
not to worry, jaxx. I will do what I feel is right.
My relationship with Molly is volatile so I don't want to upset yours with her. Do what YOU want to. Don't let me influence you.
You are not influencing me, jaxx. I was just commenting on what I saw in the store.
fw. bye for now
I have spent most of my life doing what other people want but my pink hair is a statement that now I have few years left I will do what I want to do.
I made some red curry vegetable soup. going to see how it tastes.
Is that red for very hot?
I was a people pleaser for a long time too. but no more. cu all later
yes.
Enjoy.
I used red curry paste. hope it is not too hot
byeee
Bye, peri
You can comment now Molly
Hi jaxx. Missed you coming in, my chat freezes on the ipad sometimes
We went all week without a visit from the SS!
Progress?
I think they are a little perplexed as to how to make the facts fit their actions
Have your migraines settled down?
They have made Jess 18 and changed from child protection to child in need of care. The truth is they jumped in feet first without checking the facts.
back for a last stab at this grid:)
((crossy))
((jaxx))
Hi crossy
hody chrissie
howdy
All children are in need of care
hello, babblers
My talented fingers are still insulting my keyboard:)
Hi TO
ui've used the chalk colors to highlight a strand or two, i like them. people were freaked!
I find that at the beginning after I take the meds, the vertigo goes and I can walk down the stairs without feeling I am going to tip forward. When we get close to the next meds it comes back with a vengeance. The migraines (I have fingers, toes and eyes crossed) seem to have ceased but the pink doughnut has become a silhouette of a bearded man, also pink. You can't say my life is black and white.
oh my, do the headaches affect your vision?
do you get severe nausea with the vertigo, jaxx?
Is that meant for peri? She has gone off to taste her red curry soup. It is a good idea tho, TO, so perhaps the next time you are both here, mention it to her.
no, it was meant for you , jaxx.
Is it exacerbated by all the stress?
No, crossy, but the room spins alarmingly sometimes and sometimes the spinning is in my head.
My husband doesn't like it and moans at the hairdressing bills but, h***, it is my pension and I will spend it how I wish. I have threatend to become a Plymouth Argylle fan and dye it purple and green in homage. I think he is making the best of it.
I think a different colour every once in a while makes things interesting:)
The migraines started in the first place because of all the stress. First they affected my eyes and the second week caused the vertigo. I think my Nervous system is gradually crumbling away
stress can do some crazy things to a body:(
I met my first love at a school reunion and he thought I was the school's dumpy blue stocking and I thought he had loved me! BooHoo
Does that count as stress?
well, I am sure it was chaos at the time
All my illusions shattered and she didn't have pink hair either.
lol, not for you I'm sure
No, he was serious and will never know how close he came to a black eye.
oh my!
Bet you've broken many hearts since then :)
I am fortunate--my first love is still with me:)
Awwww
A few but he was my first love and being thought to be Joy Crispin by a man who hadn't altered much since we were 18, was not a happy sensation.
He's obviously a fool jaxx
Crossy, your other half is lovely. Clearly so was I once as he had photos he had taken of me while we were at school.
i am going to a college reunion next weekend not mine, but will hoepfully be interesting. i got out of going to the high school one.
No - a politician. On second thoughts, you're right. lol
lol
Could never do a school reunion. Hated school. Loved learning but not school
clue for se 8/40. the second one
TO. It is not your own college reunion. You will have a lot of fun people watching.
Don't have it, matches
yes! but the hs one i thin owuld have been tres boring. i hate going to events when i don'tknow anyone.
SE 8/40 sounds like to sing to your lover outside her window, but the last cons is different.

ty Bernice, nice clue
Wow, great clue Bernice!
glad it worked (kind of convoluted)
The oldest member was 95 and the man in charge of the old grammarians association dinner asked her to stand up and take a bow. This she did but when she sat down she fell off her seat. Great fuss as Molly was now on the floor. She suddenly roared out that could they leave her alone so she could get up in her own time.
yes, ty berenice
oh that is funny!
serenate
yup,that's it.
There, I am definitely here tonight.
I can't blame the vertigo as I took my last tablet 30 mins ago.
Too easy clue jaxx :)
How kind - it is that cursor thing again
phantom: burrito
ty Bernice and jaxx got it.
Bernice did all the work. I merely jumped on the bandwagon
My clue was suggestive, but yours was right on the nose
It was a PB word.
i am watching a cnn special on that disappeared malaysian flight. those poor families.
They were a little slow getting the search going.
well of course, cnn makes high drama, but still. they will never find that plane.
They are dragging their heels about the Ebola thing too.
clue for en 6/24

What is about politicians that they bury their heads in the sand when a crisis is only a problem and then panic when it becomes a catastrophe and they can't cope.

We Brits are down to one ship and one soldier and you think you are badly off.
whats that,jaxx?
The Government has sold off our carriers to India, cut troop numbers because they thought Russia was down and out and did it just before a large number were due to collect their pensions and sold the VTOL planes, the harrier, to your good selves. We are stuffed, to put it bluntly.
And with that final and depressing thought, I am off to my bed before the verigo makes me feel as if I am falling out of it. Night all and look after yourselves.
that is bad news.
vertigo even
aw, jaxx, the news does seem to be all bad every day, doesn'tit?
That is politicians for yer. Night night.
night, jaxx i hope your headache abates
lol, we are down to three used britt nuclear subs that leak:)
