This has been up there with the worst to days. Burt inadvertently let out the two dogs yesterday morning while I was running errands and I spent an horrible 30 minutes, afraid that y beloved Ruf would be run over, But then he came back o his own.

and it was our first snow, wet and falling. The two dogs and I were cold and wet all day, but at least my beloved Rufie came back on his own.

Yes, more and more I am avoiding red sauces cause they burn my tummy. I love the butter, herb and spice route with a touch of parm or other grated cheese
red sauces are very acidic
the parm with butter for me tastes fresher but too much butter is not a good thing

I liked Into the Woods, tho the 3rd act definitely feels a little disconnected from the rest of the story. Overall good performances, I liked it, will see it again in the next week or so I think.

Pippin, what is your review of The Hobbit trilogy overall? I have heard good things and bad things and have yet to see any of them. I do not wish to sully my fond vision of the book with some overblown theatrical nightmare that was overextended just as a cash grab:/
honestly I haven't seen the 2nd one yet so I can't speak to that, but my friend who watched with me said it was better than the first but still crappy
the first of the hobbit was frankly bad. too slow, it felt like it was directed for children, and the CGI bothered me immensely
Then I may give it a pass:( too bad, considering how well they did the LOTR trilogy
this one was good, but i don't know that it's worth seeing as a standalone
