it's the true story of alan turing, who made the machine which cracked the german enigma machine.
I have been watching prison break on netflix streaming... what an intense show... some of the characters are so evil, I don't want to watch, but the plot is so good, I want to see what happens
oooh, not fun to get sick after a vacation
no, it was nasty, but she did have a lovely holiday

good morning all
whoot!!! {{hugs}} sprite
hello my darling :) So the heat kept you guys at home huh... my luck :)
yeah.....don also said i had already done enough for one day.
so true. I know some days are worth it to be in agony later, but most are not
tummy still full from lunch. it was a lot later than when we usually eat.
a nice late supper then :)
how was your night?
pretty good! Am thinking fitness later this morning
good grief!! sprite, please take it gently, sweetie.
oh I will. Am aiming for minimal program, just something to get my body moving again. Use the joints, gently use the muscles, no stress or achievements.
good thinking, hin.
yeah. Biggest challenge will be to get the fitness gym people to think my way. I will have to be firm.
ikr? my gym tried years ago to make me do stuff i just couldn't cope with, but i didn't know about the FM then.
hey, that's an idea....print out the info on FM for the gym.that way th4 will understand where you are coming from.
same thing for me. I actually had this one guy that changed the settings of my fitness bike while I was on it. And I wasn't as assertative back then.
that is an idea!
assertive I mean. I think.
can't believe I already found 2 x 8.
sprite have you heard about the samsung smart tv's? how what you say is being passed onto a third party?
what? No darling, I don't watch news. Big brother tvs?
yes, just like in george orwell's 1984
hm I see. "If a consumer consents and uses the voice recognition feature, voice data is provided to a third party during a requested voice command search. At that time, the voice data is sent to a server, which searches for the requested content then returns the desired content to the TV." So not nonstop, just when you use the voice command option. But still.
it's really scary....
so happy we just have a dumb tv :D
exactly, dear. don has turned off the voice recognition on his mobile phone.
we do have a smart tv, but no voice recognition.
smart move. The scary part is, for me anyway, that A. people don't know this when buying and using it and B. even though right now the data may not be abused, the stuff is there and CAN be abused.
it is a bit like the... what is the world in english... when the government wants to collect exact data of who lives in your house, what age, etc etc. They did that before the world wars here, and then the nazis came, and all those data were abused immediately.
a census?
I think so. They used to go door-to-door for that. We call it 'counting folks'
yes, census
with the 100 page form to fill out, including your grandfather's hat size....
exactly, and his father's, and the length of his greatuncle's cat's tail.
col....a real belly laugh...
*grin* My goal achieved for today
ble\ss you, love. thanx
??? where did that backward slash come from?
made a depressed friend of mine laugh yesterday night as well. Am on a roll, grin.
twitchy pinky, maybe? Mine is right above the en5 key.
that's where mine is....no where ne4 the e or s
french for window is not valid. Jeez.
weird....
a twitchy right pinkie. Or gremlins. It might be gremlins.
yeah, like the /n which appears in tiny urls some babblers post
Hi all and hugs to you two :)
hi Liz! *hugs* How are you and your husband today?
{{hugs}} liz girl. all good with you?
the /n appears when a word or link is too long. It cuts up the word so that the chog doesn't go totally haywire.
ahhhh, so that is why.
yeah. But your post wasn't like that. It was just a random backslash, lol.
i know, that's why it was weird.
We're fine thanks. Internets being twitchy again :(
I blame your pink. Or gremlins. It still might have been gremlins.
stupid internet, Liz :( But great to hear you are fine.
it was for me two nights ago. it kept locking me out. very frustrating.
Are you both OK?
must be a mondial thing. Same here 2 nights ago, and we had a total blackout as well.
*looks for conspiracy* Aliens? Sun flares? Gremlins?
Lol!
I am fine, thank you :) Even considering going to the gym today and start my program.
yes thanx liz. although hips have decided to play up again...darn it.
Not good
did hubby like the joke i se4?
Yes we both did!
Babble proverb: "It is better to have a twitchty pinkie than hurting hips."
jokes se4? And I was excluded? Well I never...
sprite i se4 liz a joke, but it is very topical to oz land.
Very true!
ah, lol, that is why. :)
Very oz joke
am reading a booklet about narcissism and it describes some cartoons... one of a man standing next to a grave and saying: "Does this mean you won't have the papers ready on Friday?"
i'll send it to you with explanation.
and another one, where a woman enters the room where her husband is in the process of hanging himself, and she says: "Oh no, not my macrame!"
Giving up for now! My words just aren't entering. Getting loads of red boxes! Hope to catch you tomorrow.
reminded me of your mother and my father, rose :D
poor Liz. I hope the internet will behave better soon. *hugs* to you both.
Hugs to you both too
see you liz girl.
sprite, se4.....i hope you can see the irony.
Lollllll oh that is priceless.
scroll down, if you like, rose, for two cartoons about narcissists.
thanks for sharing the joke, btw :D
am so glad you could see the joke. we both giggled like crazy when we read it.
I love it. It will translate nicely to dutch politicians.
well send it on.....tall poppies need to be cut down...
so they do, so they do. Politicians are all liars. The sad thing is, the alternative is a dictatorship... not a good idea ;)
btw rose, interesting point in that booklet. People who grow up under the rule of a destructive narcissist often have underdeveloped (healthy) narcissism themselves. And when we develop that to a healthy level, it makes us less vulnerable to destructive ones.
very interesting, sprite
sprite, it less than 4 weeks before the pain doc. i do so hope he can help me.
yeah, it is very poorly written, alas, but she raises good points. She says that a bit of narcissism is necessary to be a balanced person. You need to value yourself and appreciate yourself to function. As long as you see and value and appreciate others as well. And on the other hand, you have to have flexible boundaries, so that you don't get confused about what is YOU and what is OTHER. As in everything, there is a balance point, or area.
I hope so too, rose. Bring the protocol from the poor late doctor and tell them to get the heck on with it :D
exactly...so true, sprite. which is what you and i have trained ourselves to do. although th5 are still times when we fall short of the goal.
sprite, i se4 that in with my referral.
falling short of the goal every now and then is healthy too, sweetie. We aren't supposed to be perfect. We only are supposed to be ourselves.
awesome. They will know what to do then, and you can tell them what you need as well. It will work out. I have faith in them
i he4 you sprite
also, what we already knew but it was good to see it in writing, there is no way to change them, they can only change themselves if they really want to, which is rare. And there is no way to make them see the effects of what they do to others, because psychologically they don't recognise others. Everyone is just an extension of themselves to them.
am sorry you are in so much pain again, rose. Hips are nasty. Much too central and involved in every posture you can take.
a little late for our parents, sprite. they will never know(at least mine wont) or acknowledge that it is their behaviour which has damaged us.
that was my point, or hers. They will never know. Even if they were alive, they wouldn't. Because they can't. It is not that they choose to ignore it, it is that they actually don't register it at all. "YOU" does not really exist for them. Everything is ME. Like a small child that views the world only in terms of itself.
she writes that that is the hardest thing to grasp for the rest of us. Because if you are empathic, it is incredibly hard to imagine someone who has no empathy.
and narcissists cannot acknowledge that th4 are in the wrong...
lol, oh yes, sprite....don cannot walk a mile in my shoes at all.
because they don't see it that way. If they would be be in the wrong, it would mean somebody else was in the right. And they don't see others as people separate from them. So even if you are right, it is still them who are right. By extension.
yes!!!
but Don does have empathy. Not to extreme extent, maybe, but more than enough to be a loving husband.
yeah it is a good booklet. Sharpens my perception of my father and our relationship, and how I turned out as a result. And of what I still have to learn and develop.
too true, sprite. our vicar thinks he is the ant's pants. he is so helpful, stepping up to the mark so many times. and she values that.
hehehe I think he is too. It is wonderful to have someone like that. We are so blessed.
btw, i found this grid remarkably easy. only a few words which made me go...what the hey?
yeah it is very fast and easy for me too. Haven't found the what the hey words yet, though. Which figures.
let me know if you need a hand, but i am tipping you won't.
hehehe not yet :) Thanks for the offer though.
new babble dictionary word: St5men - they just cannot stay loyal, the cheaters
or is it faithful?
i am surprised with how i am playing th5 days. i am certainly finding a lot more words than even last ye4.
*giggles* Same here. We must be sharing a brainwave and lifting eachother to a higher lvl
ooohhhh, i like it...put 'er in
ok, done :D
oh! Found two words that are very close to the french window, and related in meaning.
whoot!! yay sprite!!
*smug* AND I greyed out the U :D
you have every right to be smug, my friend.
*grins* No I don't. I am grateful for all I am given though.

Good morning my friends:)
Hi Crossy
Hello, everyone!
Hello Miss Arizona
How is Scrabby this fine winters day? Tis a balmy minus 18c here atm, but it looks like we may get some sun later on.
(((mimi)))
Hey, Scrabber! Long time, no chat! Yep...beautiful here now---in the 80's.
((crossy))!!!!
I am happy after 4 days of XC-skiing. Now I work for 3 days. I am lucky to have this work schedule. Friday evening we will snowshoe at 6pm with headlamps--a neighborhood hike in the woods, then dinner.
But Friday's high temp will be 4 F and colder by the evening. We will have fun.
I got tired just reading that, scrabby!
I try to get out twice/week for a bit of snowshoe fun, but my school schedule gets in the way
I am so happy to be in the woods.
Sounds wonderful. Is your part of the country experiencing this horrible flu that lasts for 3 weeks? I just got over it and I can tell you it really is a terrible thing. I could not eat a morsel for two weeks and could barely get up to go to the bathroom. Almost went to the hospital twice but was afraid in my weakened state being in the hospital would kill me!! Luckily, I was already on antibiotics for an oral surgery I had planned (had to postpone) so I didn't get a secondary infection.
poor mimi:( we have not had so much as a cold this winter (knock on wood)
We have seen lots of Influenza A in kids. I had a different respiratory illness for 6 wks starting the week before Thanksgiving--laryngitis, then coughing.
I think even the viruses get frozen where you live, crossy!
You probably had flu if you were that wiped out.
Scrabby gets the same temps we do:)
I had the flu this winter and it was horrid for about 3 weeks
A mild winter actually
But yours are even lower, Crossy.
Hi Annie and Bobby
Used to be lower, scrabby, but it is a rare thing to dip below minus 30c now. Not like years ago.
Hi Scrabbs, Bobby is getting ready to go to the workshop
This was a whole systemic thing...every part of my body hurt. I kept hydrated because I know how important that is. I spoke with a doctor who said it is a particularly virulent strain and was routinely lasting 3 weeks--long time for the flu. He said I was doing everything that could be done. Luckily, my daughter checked on me every day and two of my neighbors helped as well.
I need to finish my coffee and get ready for work. I go to the Indian Reservation Tuesday mornings.
Did you get this years flu shot, mimi??
It was good to see you, Scrabbler---HAGD.
tc scrabby
bye scrabbs
No, I didn't get one this year, crossy, but they said the flu shot wasn't working for this flu. Apparently, they guessed wrong on the strain this year, so it wouldn't have helped.
Well, I still thyink they hti 70% accuracy, so I got mine early
wow, check my mad typing skillz!
I read they only hit 30% accuracy. I had the shot and I still got the flue
*or flu
and check my spelling
Still getting my stamina back....unbelievable. I did nothing but sleep for the first week. The second week was the worst---wished I could sleep then.
30%? I may be wrong.. will have to peek at the stats..brb
Hi, Annie!
Hi Mimi
I have a friend in Ohio and she had it for 3 weeks as well but her symptoms weren't as bad as mine. I had to take extra heart medication as well.
Good morning
I ached, my throat hurt, coughing, the usual for 3 weeks.
Hi, sukee!
good morning, sukee
Hi Mimi, Annie
At least I lost 6 pounds!!!
How I wish I could trade places with any one of you northern hemisphere folk for just one day!. We are in the high 30's every day (90 - 106 F) ; it just goes on and on. And out come the bugs. And the garden is crisping up.And my fish tanks are nearly cooking my fish! I hate summer!
And I want to see snow.
I cannot find a site with confirmed data listing the percentage for the effectiveness of the 2014 flu shot. However the 2013 shot was at the sixty-second percentile.
Just once . Make a snowman. Bucket list.
I'm right there with you do! Summer in Phoenix is routinely 116 degrees. I often say we only have two seasons here...heaven and hell.
hi dofith, I would rather have the cold weather than heat. I cannot tolerate extreme heat.
Too hot for this Canadian polar bear Dofith!
Mimi, I won't trade places with you, then - at least we have the beach here!!
crossy, I read that 30% effectiveness somewhere. Perhaps, it was for only one strain.
They said another strain popped up after this year's vaccine had been put together based on last year. I got the shot and I'm staying healthy.
I think our mild weather this time of year promotes these types of illness.....nothing to kill them off or make them dormant.
They also say this years strain type :drifted" and somewhat muatated
mutated
Well, we have had very cold days. It's more a stomach thing that has been going around this city.
Wow I need a ghost typist:(
It was so stressful to not be able to work. The doc I transcribe had been on vacation for two weeks and then I got sick for 3 (couldn't have gotten sick while she was on vacation....on, no), so I had no paycheck for 5 weeks.
I was afraid they'd think they could get along without me, but was assured that was not true and when I started working again my boss sent me the nicest email about how much she appreciates me.
That is good to hear from a boss.
I work at home on a 1099 so I'm not really an "employee" but she owns the company (there are only 5 of us who work for her) so it's nice to be appreciated.
Do you still have to deal with the "alien chipmunk"?
LOL...nope. Haven't had to have anything to do with her for over a year.........thank goodness.
So, you register as self-employed then, and do your own withholing for taxation purposes?
Yes. It's wonderful to work at home and make my own hours. If I wake up early I can get my work done and have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. Sure beats all those years of going to an office and watching the clock! Of course, I get no benefits and no pay when sick or on vacation but it's still worth it.
It's like the company I write for, they are always saying they think I am a good writer, even when I get behind.
Because, If you do, and work from home, and you dedicate office space for your work that meets the criteria as to square footage, you can use it as a tax deduction and write off all kinds of things
I didn't file last year because I didn't make enough money even with my retirement check but will do so this year. I'm not sure I'll do the write off thing, though, because that always brings you under closer scrutiny and I don't want to be flagged. I'll be speaking to an accountant.
morning all- stats for the 9 please? :-)
fe9
ty annie :-)
Hi, Wolvie!
hey mimi - long time no see :-)
I know! I was sick for 3 weeks and missed everyone so much. The first 2 weeks of that flu I couldn't type due to my hands shaking so badly.
wow- glad you are okay- sounds like a rough go
Yep...but I'm a tough old broad.
:-)
She's our desert cactus:)
lol- good one crossy
Thorny to the core, crossy! But the flowering, when it happens, is beautiful!
MY Christmas cactus is blooming I have over 30 beautiful red blooms
niceeee annie ;-)
They are beautiful, Annie. I used to collect cacti and succulents because they're the only things that grow in this climate. Years ago when I moved away from here for a little while I donated all of them to the Botanical Garden here.
I had throat surgery 30 ye4s ago and my friend brought this little plant. 30 ye4s later, the plant is thriving and blooming
Our big saguaro cacti that you see associated with this area live for over a hundred years.
I prune it every year and it grows like crazy. It usually blooms about every 3-4 years at Christmas. It was late this year but it is so beautiful.
wow- 30 years- very cool- and well do i remember those big cacti mimi- i lived in scottsdale for 4 years back in the late 80s. i bet the gardens were glad to get your plants
They are an interesting type of plant.
how big is it now annie?? i have had mine for about 10 years- it is orangish when budding- then had pink tinge as it ages- then whitish then falls off lol
When I got married and moved here from Marina Del Rey, California, I brought all my beautiful plants and they quickly died. So, decided to see the beauty of native plants.
makes sense mimi- i remember being stunned by some of the blooms on those cactis- so many different types- was very nice
I laugh when I hear that saying about "making lemonade out of lemons" because my life has been almost nothing but "making lemonade" and I'm really sick of it!!! Switched to vodka.
wolvie, it gets very big but I prune it back. I get red buds then the flowers. It looks like it belongs on a desert floor not in a Brooklyn livingroom. I just enjoy having this cactus. In the spring I think I'm going to buy other types.
nice- lots of pretty ones out there- so neat too.
LOL . Mimi
lol mimi- good thinking
There are so many that are very interesting, Annie. Have you seen the "hen and chicks" succulent? They're pretty and keep spreading and like colder climates. You could even plant them outside.
off to make some breakfast- bb in a bit :-)
Must head to class. Take care all, and happy babbling!...poink!
Mimi, I am going to get hens and chicks then. Should I plant them in a wide low pot?
Have fun.
my Mom adored hens and chicks :-) they even had them in WVa where she grew up :-)
ttfn all again lol bbl
Annie, do you ever force narcissus bulbs around Christmas? They are beautiful and very fragrant. The bulbs are available in the autumn.
Mimi, Yes I did that once.
I think you can pretty much plant the hen and chicks in anything anywhere..they are very hearty and just keep spreading. My friend in Ohio has hers outside around the base of a tree and they're thriving, even enduring the snow.
I am going to go to Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and get the hens and chicks there. Maybe I can keep them out on my terrace.
Most people don't realize that if you get a poinsettia plant, you can plant it in the ground and it will grow and grow. Just don't get it around your pets as it is poisonous.
Time for me to go make breakfast too. Take care
Breakfast is calling me too. Mimi, thanks for the talk about cacti. Im glad you are better and stay better. Be back later.
I'm getting to work also. Good touching base.

Back again. Enjoying the snow, Trif?
I am just taking 5 before i do my final edit on my thesis:(
Woohoo, Crossy!
Don't frown, there
is a light at the end of the tunnel then
Morning All
Buon giorno, He!
it is an interesting one in that I proved that the tragic events which unfolded in Othello, culminating in the deaths of Othello, Desdemona, and her lady-in waiting, would still have come to pass if racism had not been portrayed in the play whatsoever.
Hi Scrabs
thanks for the clues on the 8/9
Ah, Othello. Great psychological play.
I hated English--hated critical analysis of books and hated writing those types of papers. I'll take differential equations anyday.
I love the creative assignments much better;)
My brain cannot comprehend abstraction.
Me too Crossy
Give me Shakespeare any day. Math not my thing
math is not my friend.
Makes me dizzy
I need diagrams, symbols, lists, formulas....
science is not my friend
I do like science, though.
It is interesting how brains can be so different and that is what makes the world work--differences.
I love them all! but can't see to support myself as a perpetual student
I like Science light
i find , in this school at least, those who do well in math do not take to English and the opposite is almost always true as well.
My lawyer sister excels with the verbal stuff, other sister is good at all of it, me--math/science.
math is black and white, right and wrong. English is shades of grey;)
fifty of them
51i'm evolving...:)
2nd column E?
And that made me crazy in school, Crossy. I want proven evidence and an answer I can confirm.
et 6/18
Not always possible Scrabs, even in medicine.
lol. yes, scrabby, that is annoying to me as well. someone else can do a thesis on my exact topic, disprove all my theories, and still be correct.
it is all a matter of interpetation.

We have so much snow now that home owners have no place left to put it. All the lawns and property edges are piled high with snow. In some cases they had had to hire a backhoe and dump truck for snow removal.
can someone please give me STATS for the 9?
same here, crossy.....the snow banks are huge...
fe 9/72
we have also had problems with carbon monoxide because vents are blocked...
ty....
pen, it's the Latin plural of the fe 8
does the fe 9 extend from another fe word?
We learned that lesson years ago and keep the vents in order.
yes, off the fe 8/55

Good morning, all!
Hi Judi
Howdy, judi;)
Just got word that our Arizona hostage has been killed by ISIS. Do these people really think this accomplishes anything? Honestly...I had to make blanket statements but those people are simply NUTS. I've seen it first-hand as I once BRIEFLY dated a Syrian doctor and when the subject of Israel came up, his entire demeanor changed in an instant---it was scary. They brainwash them very young. It's ironic that one reason more damage hasn't been done to them by us is the fact that Israel is so close!
..hate to make...
I.S.I.S is a plague threatening the entire planet and we must all join in eradicating it.
Sad indeed, Mimi. Negotiating is pointless. ISIS does not want to negotiate. They only want world domination.
I wonder if this is recent or if she has been dead for some time. It's hard to know.
Yes, indeed. It is unfortunate that there are innocents in those locations as well because I would simple say for us to get out of there and let them kill each other. But they don't stop with killing each other--they must bring others into their madness.
Hego, her parents were holding out hope but just found out she is dead.
They cannot be left to their own devices. That is just avoiding the problem--not solving it.
Mimi, I'm not surprised.
You know, if they're so keen on all the wonderful things MEN ONLY will get in the afterlife, why don't they just cut to the chase and GO THERE?!!
That would be helpful.
It's like those people who enter schools and such, kill people and then kill themselves....cut to the chase and eliminate the middle step!
Too bad they're not in a good location like Hiroshima was....we could just drop the bomb.
Africa is such a beautiful and valuable place in so many ways...it's a shame there is so much strife, war and genocide there. Makes me very sad, especially for the animals and the poor people who only want to live a simple life without hunger and pain.
I think dropping the bomb on Hiroshima had a lot of negative consequences also...
I did hear not long ago that there is now technology that will help supply water there, though.
Yes, jj, that is true. But I think the entire world has had enough of these crazy people and I doubt there would be much criticism. I think other nations would help.
th7?
th 7 is a compound word
ty
Name that proper noun: famouse noodle.
ramen
Ding! Ding! Ding! Year's supply of Ramen or what's behind curtain number 3.

I love packing a few Ramen noodle pouches when on a long hike. Even though on their own they are a black hole as far as nutritional value is concerned, it is easy to add some veggies or some protein to make it a fast, acceptable meal on the go.

finally got sh 6
Gotta eat lunch early. Training all afternoon. *just shoot me now* *POOF*
Judi gets "trained" a lot.. wonder what that means/
the sh6 is also spelled with a c!!
in the middle
ne
oops, sorry, hi guys!
What i want to know is, how are people supposed to be able to get their work done when they are constantly taking time away from work for "training"?
another question would be, how do people get any work done between training and playing babble?
lol
: D True, Peri. My guess is that if Judi took as much personal time as they make her spend "in training" she would be considered a slacker.
I thought most computers at work are monitored
lots of people here babble at work. my thinking is if you have time to babble then you do not need a full time job. (I am done venting)
probably if it was a babble-porn web-site
It depends on where you work. Some work computers are monitored, some are not.
II figured as much, Molly
I even
Some companies monitor, but have an "acceptable" amount of time that a person can spend in "free time" on the computer.
Oh?
did not know that
wonder what is considered "acceptable"
te
To me, the logical course of action is, if an employee is getting their job done in a timely fashion, it doesn't matter what they do on their breaks or in their "down time". And every job has down time.
here in California .. we have get-down time
depends on the job, Molly. I always worked in hospitals and I rarely saw the nurses have any down time
Enomis65's next comment is "we"
most hospital social workers do not get breaks either. so it does depend on where you work and what type of supervisor you have then
My daughter in law is an ER nurse and she said she has seem people at work playing Babble.
and getting your job down in a timely manner
really?
bbl
As far as I know, it's against the law to require people to work more than six hours without a break.
Oops, I was wrong. No Federal Labor laws requiring breaks. Lunch breaks either. I still consider it bad labor practice to make people work a non-stop 8 hour shift.
next time I go to an ER.. I'll be sure to give out clues
And ask for the CLUES iv drip bag.
LOL
If they have any. They seem to all be in use here.

And now it is time for Crossy's tidbit of the day!! Do you have a problem with the government knowing everything about you? well think on this for a second: In the 1960's the C.I.A needed a new method for spying on people and introduced the "Acoustic Kitty" program. A battery and a microphone were implanted into a cat and an antenna into its tail. This would allow the cats to innocuously record and transmit sound from their surroundings. Surgical and training expenses are thought to have amounted to over $25 million. meow!
incredible.. no joke? the cat's meow on that!
OMG!!!
wonder if people got feedback if kitty went too close to the stereo speakers?
There has to be a million jokes in there!!

If not, what was left out of the story is that the project was a failure and was cancelled in 1967

now it's your smart tv...something with translators and somehow the tv hears everything ones says...
and your smart phone.
... it's the one's that take voice commands
... they've gotta listen for the commands ... so they might as well listen for everything ... ... bastards!
oh well ... I only communicate through a key board ... and I gotta go ... luck to all
Samsung was hedging and saying that somethings could be recorded accidentally. What they didn't say was that neither your smart phone nor the TV has enough processing power to decode voice commands. So it bundles up the voice and ships it off to a cloud processor somewhere that DOES have enough horsepower.
ty and hi, bj!
bye, dos.
Hi Temple
how goes it?
sh 7 please?
Well, I did, Molly - but also a link to the Wikipedia page on Acoustic Kitty, and a link to a page of images, mostly fanciful. But nobody I know who has a cat lacks a sense of humour, so I couldn't resist updating them.
Law enforcement in the wild west - but spelled with a double vowel in the second syllable to make it sort of Arabic.

I had no idea that there were so many people here with dark enough secrets to worry about the US government spying on them. How intriguing.

There has been a lot of press about "Non-vaxxers" of late, and how some say it is up to the parent whether or not to immunize their child. For my evening tidbit of the day I have an article for you by one of our better local columnists by the name of Christine Blizzard, that lays it all out pretty clearly for those who who need clarification on this hot topic.Personally, I think the vaccines should become mandatory by law. Yes, your body is your own, but that freedom ends when it puts other people's young child at risk. http://tinyurl.com/lg6nwtn
