Oh, that is wonderful! Getting pain under control is so, so important. I've had a good apin doc for years.
melon, he has started me on an anti-epileptic drug. it slows down nerve impulses and also has the side effect of sedation. i haven't slept this well for nearly 3 years.

I never could use anti-epileptics, esp the GABA analogues. When I was trying out Neurontin, I feared I would fall asleep in a crosswalk! I knew how many steps from the restroom to my office, to, so I could close my eyes when I walked from one place to the other. Crazy.
in 11 days i am going in to hospital for 10 hours, to have a ketamine infusion. they have to increase the dose very slowly until i have total relief from pain.

oh i take the drug at 8:30pm. it kicks in fully by about 10pm.

Oh yes.. I do not have it with me, but the gist of it is that pistachios generate heat if transported in too large of a quantity due to the natural oils they contain. So, they are transported in small bathes to avoid fiery nuts:)

I must live on the wrong part of the planet because I had to research the meaning of it. i have never seen it in print or heard it spoken or referenced to outside of babble. brand new word for me.

aww cross that sounds like bliss. I went to the US a few years ago mid summer and got up every morning at 6am, hot freshly brewed coffee and a swim in the pool as the sun rose. Bliss!!
