WTG FLOSEY!!!!
good morning all
{{hugs}} my dearest sprite
good morning my dear friend :) *hugs* How was your day?
quite nice thanx. the power was off at june's today so we did lunch.
how was your night?
hehehe good thinking. Will that be in stead of tomorrow, or just as an added bonus?
instead of.....although looking at the menu i nearly wanted to go two days running.
*giggles* Whachahave?
mashed avovcado on sourdough toast, with poached eggs and smoked salmon. * sigh *
you can have my avocado and then I will join you :D
going to see the occupational rehab person tomorrow. june says to show her THAT doc's report and say to her this is why i lost my job.
ugh... ugly vowel grid today! Running out of steam way before halfway. Can I have yesterday's grid back please?
oh that is perfect. Are you gonna?
aww c'mon sprite. compared to yesterday's this one is a walk in the park, i promise.
sure am. i really don't see how i can be employed by ANYONE after that report.
no it isn't. Too many vowel words. Too many vowels, period. And yesterday's was very friendly. Hardly slowed down until 44 left or soemthing like that.
very true, rose. And that report simply puts in writing what we knew all along. And what you suffer on a daily base.
ok, halfway. Rose, do any of the biggies end in the left bottom corner in that sorta-kinda ending?
not really. a delish ending not used.
another waste of a perfect good ending :(
so... how are you feeling, darling, about going tomorrow? Are you stressed?
enough to have angina a few times today.
yeah. No wonder. It is lousy to have no control over some aspects in your life, and to know some stranger does. But try and breathe through it, darling. You know what you can and cannot do, and so do several doctors by now. Let the occupational hazard read it all and things will be clear.
she wants me to take my resume with me. the last one i had was typed up by robyn, 13 years ago. it isn't on my hard drive any where. i think i have a copy. and you guessed it. it's in a box in the garage. which one...no idea.
so... don't take it with you. Tell her what you just told me. And tell her you cannot possibly search for some paper in a box in the garage with your handicaps.
oh, sprite. remember in the email i told you how the manary was all fluffed up all day.
you still with me, darling?
ah right, sorry, I am impatient, my bad
yes, I remember :)
the poor little thing was not well, and he died overnight.
awwwwww omg, that is so sad. So sorry, rose. *hugs*
thanx honey. he had a good life. he was 10 1/2 years old. as don said, he was well cared for.
he sure was, and he will be remembered as the manary, the canary with the outspoken male personality.
it is the longest i have had a bird survive in my whole life.
it is amazingly long for such a tiny bird.
still here. *sigh* yet another policeman has shot an unarmed man, who was already on the ground.
in theUSA
ah
i wish and pray for it all to stop. it's too sad sprite
not following the news, sweetie, because I cannot handle this kind of thing. Am trying not to add to my nightmare stuff.
i understand de4, and will shut up on the topic. sorry, honey.
*hugs* luvu!
xoxoxox
is Don going with you, to the occ. hazard girl?
he sure is. he can tell her how i cannot put my compression stocking on. and how he does all the driving because i am so limited in my range.
omg found the 8/9 all by myself!
yay, sprite. so did i!!
very good. And he will have to drive you home because you can hardly sit, let alone drive, after such an ordeal.
woooot well done rose!
absolutely, sprite
oh and rose.... remember to show that lady the truth. No pushing yourself to your limits, no stiff upper lip... let her see how you are, or she won't be able to judge fairly.
i hear you, sprite. and i'm not taking any magnesium tomorrow either.
I don't mean to preach, just from experience... I know how we are programmed by our narcissistic parent to be strong and resilient and all. Plus we have learned to not show any weakness. This kind of examination is extremely hard on us.
good move. Take some magnesium with you, and a bottle of water, for afterwards in the car :)
yup, was gonna do that.
:D smart move
june and i charity shopped today. three shops in all. last one we couldn't park near and is it was near level ground i thought i would try walking to and from it. it nearly killed me. june says it was about 250 meters all told.
now i am soooo stiff and sore. all preparatory for tomorrow.
aw my poor darling. Am sorry you are in pain :(
but it is a good thing you can show her how it is. And that you know exactly how much walk is too much... almost any.
it was roughly what would be expected of me from my parked car to my work station inside a building. i don't think any boss is gonna like it if i arrive, and say sorry, need to take endone and sit quietly for an hour.
as long as you take endone, you shouldn't be on any workfloor, to be honest.
well, duh, ya think??
I do I do I do
*giggle*
I have worked for about a year that way. Going from parking spot to my desk was about all I could manage on a day. Then still several hours of work, back all the way to my car, then drive home. It is a miracle I didn't end up a statistic.
well i am not doing it. this mob just have to understand how much pain i am in. and if they make an issue about my weight, i will sweetly inform them that before i fell i had lost 37 kg, and was still losing.
indeed, rose. Another thing they should pay for. You were doing so well before that fall.
and the inactivity following the fall and surgery, and now the nerve damage, all those things have helped with my weight gain. i was back to running before i fell. at work, i was on the emergency response team. and you didn't just saunter along the corridor i can tell you.
I remember, my friend. You were really getting back on your feet in every way back then. We all were happy for you, knowing all the pain and other stuff you had gone through. And then that fall. And the rotten attitude of your work.
water under the bridge, sprite. i want to move on, but these people will not let me.
that is why I feel so strongly about your lawyer putting his foot down. Enough is enough. Each and every examination they force on you is something else that holds you back from moving on and leaving this behind you.
and I WAS back at work, doing my level best, asking for help, when everything was snatched away from me. and they are carrying on like it's my fault and i am dragging the lead with returning to work.
yes, exactly. So it is about freakin' time they stop obstructing and start paying up.
fireflies
it should be very interesting tomorrow. and i am not volunteering any information which might make their job any easier.
WTG SPRITE!!!
good for you. Just let them see how bad it is. All of it.
*giggles* Thank you, thank you. It was nothing. Couldn't have done it without you.
you probably would have done it in half the time without me yakking at you the whole time.
nah I wouldn't. First of all I would have kept on looking for sorta-kinda kinda words. And I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay as much and would have moved on to other stuff :D
awww shucks, you are so sweet. *blushing furiously*
hehehe *hugs*
what are your plans for today?
um.... the surgeon meeting...
oh yeah. are you excited? or more nervous? is Cobi going with you?
no, Rob is going with me. Am more nervous than excited. But not too extreme. I do have faith that things will go as is best for me.
will pray for you. how many hours from now is your appointment?
5 and a half. You will be sound asleep by then :)
well i'll pray anyway, and the Man upstairs on your case.
thank you :D
gosh, i really must try and slow down when typing. i am typing faster than my brain is thinking.
don't worry about it, I can easily insert the words that get lost in space
or vice versa. whatever the reason is behind me missing words when i am typing.
*giggles* I know what you think, so a typo won't throw me.
what sprite says
I think I am gonna do a bit of translating work to focus my mind on something else than this afternoon, grin. It was lovely to see you, rose. *hugs* and sleep well, and good luck tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.
ugh, i am yawning already and we haven't even had dinner.
sprite, slow deep breaths de4est. xoxox
I'll be fine. I'll be fine. I'll be fine. Lol.
Good morning my friends:)
Crossy hears the deafening silence break as a tumbleweed rolls by, disturbing the blanket of nothingness for a moment in its lonely travel, then as the solitary traveler vanishes into the eons of undisturbed chat room dust, Crossy feels the hush of emptiness descend upon him once again...

Life! there is life!
Like a signal intercepted from the radiation blasted outer reaches of space it is hesitant, intermittent, but a sign nevertheless.:)
Morning al.
Doing creative, descriptive writing with the kids in class this week:)
and everyone else :D
Howdy, Sukee
No everyone--just crossy:)
Oh well, you'll do :)
gee... thanks... i think:)
Did you have a great day yesterday?
Felt so loved there that for a moment I got a case of the warm fuzzies:))
yup was a grand day here. was 20 c!! My better half has a cold though:(
Yes, it was warm here. Had my shorts on for the first time. We did have rain but not the thunderstorm that I was expecting.
Not bad, getting the shorts on mid-April;)
True.
Aww, kittens on Canada AM :)
there are always kittens, somewhere:)
How did you do on yesterdays grid? Did you finish?
heck no! I find large ones like that daunting and nothing but a typing endurance contest. I gave up after 150 or so.
My perfect grid is in the 150-250 range
I had plans to return but never did. Baseball got in the way.
big enough not to be babblet filled nightmares but small enough so you can have a life while you play
I have not seen a baseball game in 2+ years;(
Was Jay home oper last night, was it not?
It was.
opener
How did our boys of summer make out?
I even refused to answer the phone when a friend called because I knew she would talk through it.
They lost 2 - 1. I know it's an excuse but the home plate umpire was awful.
Kill the up!!
ump*
The only score for the other guys came from bases loaded walks.
Well, with it 20C yesterday and the first real taste of summer-to-come, the jays could of just had a nap on the field and the audience would have been content just to sit, there, dig the weather, and watch them snore;)
So far, the jays have won every other game and both series'
hello. I didn't have time to look at the grid until after 8PM and was really disappointed that I missed the first big one in a long time
((ruby))
Hi Ruby.
Anyway, it's beautiful and sunny, 25C or so in the afternoons and flowers everywhere, more ppopping every day
yay!!
{{sukee{{
{{crossy}}
Yesterday, when, exhausted, I tried to take a nap, there was a bee the size of a drone keeping me awake. There are beautiful multi-color, fuzzy bees here called "bourdons" (not sure of the spelling). I call them B-52's and don't know if they sting or not. I have a system for rescuine them, o get a very good look. I would touch them if I knew about the stinging
Naughty bee:/
Huge and noisy, but very lovely
We have a variety of those. They are so big and fat, you wonder how their tiny wings can keep them aloft
I try not to kill insects except for the big, black, jumping spiders that appear out of drains
Lullabee, lullabee Honey bees in the tree Rest your wings 'til the morning light Lullabee, lullabee Honey bees in the tree Your honey is safe tonight Just dream to the tune I am singing Time to stop all that buzzing and stinging-ouch Lullabee, lullabee Honey bees in the tree All I want is a smackerel or two...(or three) Don't' sleep lightly, sleep very tightly Happy slumbers to you
The only thing I don't like about spring and summer... bugs.
very nice, crossy
From Winnie the Pooh
You know, there are just not enough Es in this grid.
So far, inour 17 yrs here, no mosquitoes but I am afraid with global warming, we may not continue to be so lucky. There are fewer local bats, too
Ya think?
Last year, ruby, spring came so early that the mosquitoes had 2 full hatching's instead of one:(
Go in the bush and the little buggers can almost pick you up and carry you off:/
In the evening, Mr. Rufie lays out I front of the studio door and watches the bats. They are aware of him, I think, and make big swooping circles
Not to mention our deer flies and horse flies that can bite a chunk out of the crown of your head, but fortunately that is further north
Like tiny black butterflies against the twilit sky
sounds like Maine
Well, in Maine their state bird is the mosquito:)
Time to go make some breakfast, take care.
tc, Sukee
In Ontario it's the black fly :)
Love those black flies. They rip chunks of flesh out of you:(
or is that Deer flies? Think it is the deer flies that really pack a whallp
Minnesota, too. I once went to a cook-out outside of Minneapolis and at dusk, everybody came running into the house as swarms of mosquitoes attacked
We are lucky here, temperate climate, clean air and few insects (fewer and fewer, I'm afraid), even the beneficial ones
I remember up north, no matter how warm it was, if you went out at dusk it was always long pants, long sleeved shirt and tons of DEET
Maybe the French are eating the mosquito's:))
Our honey bees are a grave concern right now:(
in sauce Nantua
Are the colonies collapsing?
yes, they have been the last few years
Hvae not heard any new news in last year or so. i hope things have stabilized
It is terrible, a lingering result of chemicals in farming.
yes. we live in an apple belt and are still paying for the pesticide fogging that was done in the 40's-late 70's
Now we live with the blemishes and eat them as nature intended
we use no pesticides hence, wormy plums, but the birds don't mind
seafarers of old used to eat the worms along with the fruit. Was a good cure for scurvy:)
Worms are my only phobia; if not for them, I probably would have become an entomologist (sp?)
So, I must bait the hook when I take you fishing?
No, I can do that. When I was very little, I used to catch frogs for my father, who would use them as "swimming bait"
Did I ever tell you about the 23" rainbow I once caught (and release, of course)
We used to rig up "swimming bait" with live minnows using a minnow harness
Sounds like a fish story to me:))
did you hade a mini whip to keep them swimming?
lol
<-- loves fish stories
Largest I ever caught was a 40 pound salmon here in the Nottawasaga river:)
(yes, i have the picture)
i was 27 at the time:)
I've caught very big mackerels when ocean fishing, and salmon and char with a spinning reel, but the rainbow, using a "white bunny| fly, was my grandest accomplishment, wearing waders and all
Up to then, I was just an ocean fisherman
ever look at a old picture of yourself and wish that just for a moment you had the power to reach back through the fabric of time and send your young self a message?
lol, I just had a vision of Ruby in hip waders:))
yes, crossy, and it would probably say "Think twice!"
When DIL is here next week, I will try to send you the photo of "my" rainbow
there is a very, very good screen play written by stephen king about that. You can get it free as a pdf file online. The play is called "Sorry, Right Number"
lol
Very few regret, though, and LOTS of adventures
then that is al a person could possibly do. it is better to regret things you have done than things you have not
very true
Off I go, time for a lie-down, Husband woke me up at 6:30 -- very annoying since I watched an old movie 'til about 1AM
XX
You reach a point where you look back on all your worries, all your fears, all your night terrors, and find that the worry, and the anguish did not change the outcome of your existence one jot or iota. We owe the universe even as we are born, and the bill comes due no matter how we strive to think otherwise. the best we can do between now and then is let the past lie buried, avoid fearing some unknown future and living the best today we possibly can, and in so doing pray that we influence those around us for the better. In that way we gain a measure of immortality on that day our debt to the universe comes due.... lol... I have been doing way too much creative writing!
Not bad for off-the-cuff:) needs some polishing though:)
hi crossy - deep thoughts for early in the morning, but I appreciate your perspective - very very true
I do some of my best deep writing when half awake. there is less life clutter in my mind that way
yes and the clutter of dreams is also very inspirational
of course you can simplify all that by saying simply: "Life is like a box of chocolates" lol
Morning all
morning car, morning all

A lot of E's, but only six E words to find

And that is fine. People are probably still hungover from yesterday's grid.

My last one is some other S7
Vowel Deliverer: would you like some more E's, folks?

Yay Phaeton!
sc7...an odd Scot word that means singe. I always find it strange when words like that are acceptable here.
me too thanks
yw and wtg
time to get busy...hagd all
Hiya!
Eeeeeeeee!
howdeeeeeeeeeee hego.. can't chat, red bar time
uh oh!
it is the norm for now.. we need a new server
I think so.
Babble just got a new server
I mean the local one, Molly
Ah, I see, your server.
Have you tried using another browser?
yes.. it is a local problem. Reception was fine until our tower was hit by lightening.. so we were switched to another tower and now the signal is often interrupted
Aloy, do you go north in the spring?
so, somedays I have to type in as many words as I can while I can.. we are headed north the end of May, hego
where to?
first to NC, visit with sister and also son/g-daughter.. then on to NE Ohio for a while
we wanted to go N. earlier, but we have to be here on May 27 for a QA (Quality Analysis) with our water monitoring group.. requirement, even tho we are volunteers
It will be warm by then.
it already is here, for sure..
spring flowers blooming there, hego?
Everything's popping up now.
ah, nice!
2 weeks ago it was the dead of winter, now spring has sprung!
(-: yay!
For sure.
Hi Hego and Aloy
Easy grid today. bbl for the rest. Have a good one.
Hi there Scrabbs!
Hi Scrabs. sorry. must go.
yes, down to 32 already.. hagd hego!
I am waiting for my last patient of the morning then I am off for the afternoon, except a MD appt.
hope you had a good eye test?
Heard you had fun at the zoo yesterday
I have memories of going to the San Francisco Zoo with my toddler grandson. We had a harness for him so he wouldn't run all around the place
We sure did. Jaxson is a runner! He runs ahead then turns around, looks at us and laughs. I woke up sore this morning and couldn't figure out why, then remembered chasing and lifting him all afternoon.
I will get phone call from the eye doc later. Today is annual gyn visit.
toddlers are exhausting fun
The SF Zoo is a great place and has a great playground too
Our zoo is small and has limited space. I feel bad for most of the animals.
have heard a lot about it.. on my bucket list, bichon
Jaxson loved the playground more than anything. When I said we had to go he said, "More, more."
Each zoo has its own highlights. The San Diego Zoo is the best
How old is he now, 2?
The Toronto Zoo is huge and wonderful. There is a train.
Yes, the SF Zoo has one too. The great thing about the San Diego Zoo is that it is near LegoLand
Philadelphia Zoo is the best zoo I've been to.
What is special about it lideola?
Jacksonville Zoo is outstanding too.
its the first zoo built in the US. It has an overhead large cat walk. Your walking along and look up and there is a tiger walking above your head.
Jaxson is 33 months--very late talker but he is smart--identifies letters already. That blew me away last Friday when he showed me that.
Cool lideola
and they have the zoo balloon. A hot air balloon that goes straight up. You can see the whole city.
I was at the Philly Zoo in 1987 when I went to Philly with a friend from residency. He grew up outside of Philly.
Wow, lideola!
One of the best things about being a grandparent is getting to go to cool places, like the Museum of Natural History
I was also in Philly in Dec 1984 when I interviewed at CHOP and St Christopher's for pediatric residencies.
stats for bottom d pls
BRB
Jehovah Witnesses at the door, need to stop here for a late breakfast.. bbl
plus, its about 10 minutes away from the Please Touch Museum, which is fabulous for kids under the age of 7 or 8. And 5 minutes from Smith Memorial Playground which is hands down the best playground I've ever seen. It has a century old big wooden slide that you go down in potato sacks and a mansion that is a 3 story playhouse that is great for rainy days.
And fireworks for me..Happy babbling everyone :-)
Think I'll have to plan to take the grands to Philly )
Scrabbler- Philadelphia is so much cleaner and friendly now than it was in the 80's.
off to work. happy babbling.
Good morning, all!

4 & 5
I am suffering from vowel overload again.
*Gives Judi some ExLax
slightly e overkill in this grid
zooz can you clue it please?
Yes. Vowel cleansing is in order.
Di + vowel + first two letters opp of clever
The DE4 think of a type of art...As in it is in the period of art de**
DE + vowel + first two letters of opp of clever.
Sorry about that, Mlf.
Need clue for he5/12 and he7 x 2, please.
Nm. just found.
Fireworks!
Congrats, Judi!
hello 59 to go
36
Go Jane, go!
28
what a relief after yesterday!
59
Did you finish that giant?
I did, but only because I finally got my stats up to 1030! Otherwise I would have bailed
HIKE!!!
Slant to the left, Ruru, run!
NOOOOO PUT DOWN THAT PICKLE!
Harp has become a stats watching addict. *Alerts help ressources*
pickle?
I know, I thought pickle was a baseball term
pickles make me cuke!
not a big problem molly, about once a year I'm actually home 30 days in a row. I'm about to blow my stats in a few when I go to Yellowstone w/o wifi
Yellowstone! That is on my bucket list--to hike there. Enjoy!
Yellowstone was great in the Canyon.. the rest of it is miles of lodgepole Pines
Oh good Harp. People who play Babble while on vacation worry me.
<---guilty as charged
Friday is opening day of the "summer" season. It's been closed to the public since the winter season ended in March. The first couple of days are magical.
Actually if we have wifi in the hotel and the grid is easy....... (ducking....)
loved seeing the bison and elk though
I find Babble relaxing and meditative, not a chore.
Meditative? or medicative?
:D
If you go there often enough (because you live nearby) then you get to see special things that the two-day tourists might miss.
Meditative--searching for words, typing.
Sort of like how the locals can see the cherry trees in DC at their peak, while someone from out of town can plan all they want, but still be a week off.
How long will you be there, Jane?
Just two, or possible three nights. The real reason for the trip is a concert in Bozeman. We are accidentally going through the park on the way.
sc7?
Great plan!
what concert?
sc7...sounds like clam soup
sc 7 sounds like what shoots bullets
oh.. better clue molly
<---Raised on New England clam soup
yeah.. the stuff they call clam chowder out here is nothing like back east
My sister is a choir director for a phenomenal handbell choir. This is their 10th anniversary concert and all the alumni are coming back. There is also a commissioned work that will be premiered.
thanks, new word for me
Wonderful, Jane!
(and no, the house will not be vacant while I am gone.....)
handbell?
39 and I am done. Leaving the office now.
love how scrabbler can just stop playing on a dime
7
might as well be late for work only 7 to go
google it ruru, and watch a bit on youtube. It's the ultimate example of "many hands, one body"
If even one person is missing you can't play the song.
I thought many hands one body was about Madonna?
lol, or any number of hindi gods
6
ta da! see you all tonight!
*Cues up "You Can Ring My Bell*
are you chiming in?
bye harp
Not chiming in, just a ding dong
I was wondering if ring my bell cymbalized something or not?
<---snared another pun
Sorry, no fan girls here to GROAN!!!!
what are the stats for the 8 & 9 please
i am facing a wall at 55 left
even blocked groans count ;D
de 8/45 and 9/60

bottom or top D?
yes - 9 is pl
got it, ty.
Foolproof clue for those pesky de8/9
*Sigh* I'm getting old and all the music greats are leaving us...
Ruru here is a belated grooooan for the cymbalized pun.
Hope he sees it.
I knew a fan girl would show up and contribute to the cause
:)
Is that Little Richard?
can i have help with the sh6/21
second d from the bottom
please
sh6/21 is plural of the linen you put on your bed
Second D from the bottom is de5...de + last three of what Lickety gives us
I'm assuming that is your second D since you didn't mention the first
Reminds me of the short story Stephen King wrote in his Nightmares and Dreamscapes collection called "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band" sadly, there are more greats on that side now than there are on this side:( R.I.P Percy...
Pls - still stuck on de8/9
Alle add de to ae 7 and 8
de + to add air to

sedrinkbourbon
hi Molly are you channeling ruru ?
Just filling in while he is otherwise occupied
good job
#1 granddaughter is in school in Knoxville and I sent her some State facts..did you know you can't buy Jack Daniels in the county it come from because it's DRY ?
* comes
The South has strange ABC laws
When we lived in VA Hampton County lost going from dry to wet by one vote
Hence the reason for so many backyard stills
good point
that was decades ago though but in Mississippi we had a revenuer living on our street..did I spell that right ?
Good thing Tennessee is dry. it is in the top ten for highest gun deaths by state. See they are about to pass their "Guns In Trunks" bill anyways:/
Lynchburg, not all of tennessee**
would that be swimming trunks ?
swimming with lead weights..
all I remember about TN is how green it was
we were jes' passin' thru
So, workers at the Jack Daniels Distillery cannot have a drink, but they can carry a gun on their hip and keep a few spares in the trunk of the car just in case a war breaks out at lunch time:) laws in different places are very interesting:)
We have one area out east where you can get arrested for feeding a moose:)
that's too funny
don't want to meet a moose with a car..that's dangerous
sc7 anyone, pls?
hey, hi westie
sc7..sounds like clam soup
Arlo wrote a great children's book based on his poem. "Mooses Go Walking"
hey hego nice to see you
ty molly
I'd love some RI clam soup about now
I have had friends die after a head-on with a moose:( The length of the legs on the moose plus the bulk of the body ensure that almost without fail the entire 2000 plus pounds of that animal is going to come right through your windshield:(
and clam cakes which they don't have in Maine
*Sigh* We folks in America are really not the gun toting crazies that you other country people think we are
We eat the tomato kind in NJ
Just going by what i read, thought it was interesting seeing as how many parts of that area are dry, yet new gun bills like that get considered
RI's is a combination of New England and Manhattan hego..my Auntie Gert makes the best
sounds good.
Not saying you are gun toting maniacs, but SOME places hand then out like grocery coupons
westford.....maine has clam cakes....
Hi Penq.
mm, more clam cakes less guns!
Snow melt yet?
hi pen but they're flat at least in O
hi hego....stalled with my last four...
we had some exchange officers from the UK and they all thought the US was like 1930's Chicago
I mean we have odd laws as well. In Toronto it is illegal to drag a dead horse down Young street on a Sunday:)
as it should be lol
Yes West, apparently that is what many folks in other countries think about guns and the US
TV and movies don't help the image..however we loved Justified
Timothy Olliphant was the nicest kind of eye candy
still is for that matter
Let;s peek at homicide death rate via firearms by country for the year 2014, perhaps we are wrong...

anyways. that is old news.
i am done... :o)
Diving into this grid a bit:)
WTG!!Penq!
Yaa for pen!!
we only ever had one gun..a .22 I ordered from a Sears catalogue when we lived in Texas..everybody went down to the caliche pits to shoot beer cans..he gave it to his Dad when we moved back east
It's not a US friendly place here. I have figured that out.
